   אֵלֶּהtheseמַסְעֵיthe journeys ofבְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלsons of Israelאֲשֶׁרwhichיָצְאוּwent forthמֵאֶרֶץfrom the land ofמִצְרַיִםEgyptלְצִבְאֹתָםby their armiesבְּיַד־מֹשֶׁהin the hand of Mosesוְאַהֲרֹן׃and Aaron

   These are the journeys of the children of Israel, which went forth out of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.

   וַיִּכְתֹּבand wroteמֹשֶׁהMosesאֶת־מוֹצָאֵיהֶםtheir points of departureלְמַסְעֵיהֶםto their journeyingsעַל־פִּיaccording toיְהֹוָהthe LORDוְאֵלֶּהand theseמַסְעֵיהֶםtheir journeysלְמוֹצָאֵיהֶם׃to their points of departure

   And Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of the LORD: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.

   וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמֵרַעְמְסֵסfrom Ramesesבַּחֹדֶשׁin the monthהָרִאשׁוֹןthe firstבַּחֲמִשָּׁה־עָשָׂרon the fifteenthיוֹםdayלַחֹדֶשׁof the monthהָרִאשׁוֹןthe firstמִמׇּחֳרַתfrom the next day ofהַפֶּסַחthe passoverיָצְאוּwent forthבְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלsons of Israelבְּיָדby a handרָמָהhighלְעֵינֵיin the eyes ofכׇּל־מִצְרָיִם׃all Egypt

   And they departed from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the morrow after the passover the children of Israel went out with an high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians.

   וּמִצְרַיִםand Egyptמְקַבְּרִיםwere buryingאֵת־אֲשֶׁרwhichהִכָּהwas smittenיְהֹוָהthe LORDבָּהֶםin themכׇּל־בְּכוֹרall the firstborn ofוּבֵאלֹהֵיהֶםand on their godsעָשָׂהmadeיְהֹוָהthe LORDשְׁפָטִים׃acts of judgment

   For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the LORD had smitten among them: upon their gods also the LORD executed judgments.

   וַיִּסְעוּand they set outבְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלsons of Israelמֵרַעְמְסֵסfrom Ramesesוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּסֻכֹּת׃at Succoth

   And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.

   וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמִסֻּכֹּתfrom Succothוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְאֵתָםat Etamאֲשֶׁרwhichבִּקְצֵהof end ofהַמִּדְבָּר׃the wilderness

   And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.

   וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמֵאֵתָםfrom Etamוַיָּשׇׁבand he returnedעַל־פִּיbefore Pi-הַחִירֹתhahirothאֲשֶׁרwhichעַל־פְּנֵיupon the face ofבַּעַלBaalצְפוֹןZephonוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedלִפְנֵיbeforeמִגְדֹּל׃Migdol

   And they removed from Etham, and turned again unto Pi-hahiroth, which is before Baal-zephon: and they pitched before Migdol.

   וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמִפְּנֵיfrom beforeהַחִירֹתHahirothוַיַּעַבְרוּand they shall passבְתוֹךְ־הַיָּםin the middle of the seaהַמִּדְבָּרָהinto the wildernessוַיֵּלְכוּand they wentדֶּרֶךְthe way ofשְׁלֹשֶׁתthreeיָמִיםdaysבְּמִדְבַּרin the wilderness ofאֵתָםEtamוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּמָרָה׃at Marah

   And they departed from before Pi-hahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.

   וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמִמָּרָהfrom Marahוַיָּבֹאוּand they cameאֵילִמָהto Elimוּבְאֵילִםand were at Elimשְׁתֵּים־עֶשְׂרֵהtwelveעֵינֹתsprings ofמַיִםwaterוְשִׁבְעִיםand seventyתְּמָרִיםpalm treesוַיַּחֲנוּ־שָׁם׃and they encamped there

   And they removed from Marah, and came unto Elim: and in Elim were twelve fountains of water, and threescore and ten palm trees; and they pitched there.

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמֵאֵילִםfrom Elimוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedעַל־יַם־סוּף׃upon the Red Sea

    And they removed from Elim, and encamped by the Red sea.

11. 11

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמִיַּם־סוּףfrom the Red Seaוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּמִדְבַּר־סִין׃in the wilderness of Sin

    And they removed from the Red sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.

12. 12

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמִמִּדְבַּר־סִיןfrom the wilderness of Sinוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּדׇפְקָה׃in knock

    And they took their journey out of the wilderness of Sin, and encamped in Dophkah.

13. 13

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמִדׇּפְקָהfrom knockוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּאָלוּשׁ׃at Alush

    And they departed from Dophkah, and encamped in Alush.

14. 14

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמֵאָלוּשׁfrom Alushוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבִּרְפִידִםat Rephidimוְלֹא־הָיָהand not wasשָׁםthereמַיִםwaterלָעָםto the peopleלִשְׁתּוֹת׃to drink

    And they removed from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where was no water for the people to drink.

15. 15

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמֵרְפִידִםfrom Rephidimוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּמִדְבַּרin the wilderness ofסִינָי׃Sinai

    And they departed from Rephidim, and pitched in the wilderness of Sinai.

16. 16

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמִמִּדְבַּרfrom the wilderness ofסִינָיSinaiוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּקִבְרֹתat Kibrothהַתַּאֲוָה׃Hattaavah

    And they removed from the desert of Sinai, and pitched at Kibroth-hattaavah.

17. 17

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמִקִּבְרֹתfrom KibrothהַתַּאֲוָהHattaavahוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבַּחֲצֵרֹת׃at Hazeroth

    And they departed from Kibroth-hattaavah, and encamped at Hazeroth.

18. 18

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמֵחֲצֵרֹתfrom Hazerothוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּרִתְמָה׃at Rithmah

    And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.

19. 19

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמֵרִתְמָהfrom Rithmahוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּרִמֹּןat Rimmon-פָּרֶץ׃perez

    And they departed from Rithmah, and pitched at Rimmon-parez.

20. 20

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמֵרִמֹּןfrom Rimmon-פָּרֶץperezוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּלִבְנָה׃at Libnah

    And they departed from Rimmon-parez, and pitched in Libnah.

    And they removed from Libnah, and pitched at Rissah.

    And they journeyed from Rissah, and pitched in Kehelathah.

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמִקְּהֵלָתָהfrom Kehelathahוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּהַר־שָׁפֶר׃on the mount of beauty

    And they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.

24. 24

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמֵהַר־שָׁפֶרfrom the mountain of beautyוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבַּחֲרָדָה׃at Haradah

    And they removed from mount Shapher, and encamped in Haradah.

25. 25

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמֵחֲרָדָהfrom Haradahוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּמַקְהֵלֹת׃at Makheloth

    And they removed from Haradah, and pitched in Makheloth.

    And they removed from Makheloth, and encamped at Tahath.

    And they departed from Tahath, and pitched at Tarah.

    And they removed from Tarah, and pitched in Mithcah.

    And they went from Mithcah, and pitched in Hashmonah.

    And they departed from Hashmonah, and encamped at Moseroth.

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמִמֹּסֵרוֹתfrom Moserothוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבִּבְנֵיat Bene-יַעֲקָן׃jaakan

    And they departed from Moseroth, and pitched in Bene-jaakan.

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמִבְּנֵיfrom Bene-יַעֲקָןjaakanוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּחֹרat Hor-הַגִּדְגָּד׃Haggidgad

    And they removed from Bene-jaakan, and encamped at Hor-hagidgad.

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמֵחֹרfrom Hor-הַגִּדְגָּדHaggidgadוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּיׇטְבָתָה׃at Jotbathah

    And they went from Hor-hagidgad, and pitched in Jotbathah.

34. 34

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמִיׇּטְבָתָהfrom Jotbathahוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּעַבְרֹנָה׃at Ebronah

    And they removed from Jotbathah, and encamped at Ebronah.

35. 35

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמֵעַבְרֹנָהfrom Ebronahוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּעֶצְיֹןin Ezion-גָּבֶר׃geber

    And they departed from Ebronah, and encamped at Ezion-gaber.

36. 36

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמֵעֶצְיֹןfrom Ezion-גָּבֶרgeberוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְמִדְבַּר־צִןin the wilderness of Zinהִואit isקָדֵשׁ׃Kadesh

    And they removed from Ezion-gaber, and pitched in the wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.

37. 37

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמִקָּדֵשׁfrom Kadeshוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּהֹרat Horהָהָרthe mountainבִּקְצֵהof end ofאֶרֶץthe land ofאֱדוֹם׃Edom

    And they removed from Kadesh, and pitched in mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.

38. 38

    וַיַּעַלand ascendedאַהֲרֹןAaronהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֶל־הֹרto Horהָהָרthe mountainעַל־פִּיaccording toיְהֹוָהthe LORDוַיָּמׇתand he diedשָׁםthereבִּשְׁנַתin the year ofהָאַרְבָּעִיםthe fortyלְצֵאתof the going out ofבְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלsons of Israelמֵאֶרֶץfrom the land ofמִצְרַיִםEgyptבַּחֹדֶשׁin the monthהַחֲמִישִׁיthe fifthבְּאֶחָדin oneלַחֹדֶשׁ׃of the month

    And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the first day of the fifth month.

39. 39

    וְאַהֲרֹןand Aaronבֶּן־שָׁלֹשׁson of threeוְעֶשְׂרִיםand twentyוּמְאַתand one hundredשָׁנָהyearsבְּמֹתוֹwhen he diedבְּהֹרat Horהָהָר׃the mountain

    And Aaron was an hundred and twenty and three years old when he died in mount Hor.

40. 40

    וַיִּשְׁמַעand he heardהַכְּנַעֲנִיthe Canaaniteמֶלֶךְthe king ofעֲרָדAradוְהוּא־יֹשֵׁבand he dwellingבַּנֶּגֶבin the southבְּאֶרֶץin the land ofכְּנָעַןCanaanבְּבֹאwhen cameבְּנֵיthe sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Israel

    And king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.

41. 41

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמֵהֹרfrom Horהָהָרthe mountainוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּצַלְמֹנָה׃at Zalmonah

    And they departed from mount Hor, and pitched in Zalmonah.

42. 42

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמִצַּלְמֹנָהfrom Zalmonahוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּפוּנֹן׃at Punon

    And they departed from Zalmonah, and pitched in Punon.

43. 43

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמִפּוּנֹןfrom Punonוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּאֹבֹת׃in Oboth

    And they departed from Punon, and pitched in Oboth.

44. 44

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמֵאֹבֹתfrom Obothוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּעִיֵּיat Iyeהָעֲבָרִיםthe Abarimבִּגְבוּלin the borders ofמוֹאָב׃Moab

    And they departed from Oboth, and pitched in Ije-abarim, in the border of Moab.

45. 45

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמֵעִיִּיםfrom Iimוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּדִיבֹןat Dibon-גָּד׃gad

    And they departed from Iim, and pitched in Dibon-gad.

46. 46

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמִדִּיבֹןfrom Dibon-גָּדgadוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּעַלְמֹןat Almon-דִּבְלָתָיְמָה׃diblathaim

    And they removed from Dibon-gad, and encamped in Almon-diblathaim.

47. 47

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמֵעַלְמֹןfrom Almon-דִּבְלָתָיְמָהdiblathaimוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּהָרֵיin the mountains ofהָעֲבָרִיםthe Abarimלִפְנֵיbeforeנְבוֹ׃Nebo

    And they removed from Almon-diblathaim, and pitched in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.

48. 48

    וַיִּסְעוּand they set outמֵהָרֵיfrom the mountains ofהָעֲבָרִיםthe Abarimוַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedבְּעַרְבֹתin the plains ofמוֹאָבMoabעַלuponיַרְדֵּןJordanיְרֵחוֹ׃of Jericho

    And they departed from the mountains of Abarim, and pitched in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.

49. 49

    וַיַּחֲנוּand they encampedעַל־הַיַּרְדֵּןupon the Jordanמִבֵּיתfrom the house ofהַיְשִׁמֹתJeshimothעַדuntilאָבֵלmourningהַשִּׁטִּיםthe shittimבְּעַרְבֹתin the plains ofמוֹאָב׃Moab

    And they pitched by Jordan, from Beth-jesimoth even unto Abel-shittim in the plains of Moab.

50. 50

    וַיְדַבֵּרand spokeיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהto Mosesבְּעַרְבֹתin the plains ofמוֹאָבMoabעַל־יַרְדֵּןupon Jordanיְרֵחוֹof Jerichoלֵאמֹר׃saying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,

51. 51

    דַּבֵּרspeakאֶל־בְּנֵיunto the sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelוְאָמַרְתָּand sayאֲלֵהֶםunto themכִּיwhenאַתֶּםyou areעֹבְרִיםpassingאֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּןthe Jordanאֶל־אֶרֶץto the land ofכְּנָעַן׃Canaan

    Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan;

52. 52

    וְהוֹרַשְׁתֶּםand you will dispossessאֶת־כׇּל־יֹשְׁבֵיall inhabitants ofהָאָרֶץthe earthמִפְּנֵיכֶםbecause of youוְאִבַּדְתֶּםand you will destroyאֵת־כׇּל־מַשְׂכִּיֹּתָםall their carved imagesוְאֵתandכׇּל־צַלְמֵיall the images ofמַסֵּכֹתָםtheir molten metalתְּאַבֵּדוּyou will destroyוְאֵתandכׇּל־בָּמוֹתָםall their high placesתַּשְׁמִידוּ׃you will demolish

    Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:

53. 53

    וְהוֹרַשְׁתֶּםand you will dispossessאֶת־הָאָרֶץthe landוִישַׁבְתֶּם־בָּהּand you shall dwell in itכִּיforלָכֶםto youנָתַתִּיI gaveאֶת־הָאָרֶץthe landלָרֶשֶׁתto possessאֹתָהּ׃it

    And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.

54. 54

    וְהִתְנַחַלְתֶּםand you will inheritאֶת־הָאָרֶץthe landבְּגוֹרָלby lotלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתֵיכֶםto your familiesלָרַבfor the manyתַּרְבּוּyou shall increaseאֶת־נַחֲלָתוֹhis inheritanceוְלַמְעַטand for the fewתַּמְעִיטyou will make smallאֶת־נַחֲלָתוֹhis inheritanceאֶלtoאֲשֶׁר־יֵצֵאwhich he go forthלוֹto himשָׁמָּהthereהַגּוֹרָלthe lotלוֹto himיִהְיֶהshall beלְמַטּוֹתto the tribes ofאֲבֹתֵיכֶםyour fathersתִּתְנֶחָלוּ׃you will inherit

    And ye shall divide the land by lot for an inheritance among your families: and to the more ye shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer ye shall give the less inheritance: every man's inheritance shall be in the place where his lot falleth; according to the tribes of your fathers ye shall inherit.

55. 55

    וְאִם־לֹאand if notתוֹרִישׁוּyou will dispossessאֶת־יֹשְׁבֵיthe inhabitants ofהָאָרֶץthe earthמִפְּנֵיכֶםbecause of youוְהָיָהand beאֲשֶׁרwhichתּוֹתִירוּyou will leaveמֵהֶםof themלְשִׂכִּיםthornsבְּעֵינֵיכֶםin your viewוְלִצְנִינִםand pricksבְּצִדֵּיכֶםin your sidesוְצָרְרוּand they will opposeאֶתְכֶםyouעַל־הָאָרֶץupon the landאֲשֶׁרwhichאַתֶּםyou areיֹשְׁבִיםdwellingבָּהּ׃in it

    But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.

56. 56

    וְהָיָהand beכַּאֲשֶׁרasדִּמִּיתִיI have thoughtלַעֲשׂוֹתto doלָהֶםto themאֶעֱשֶׂהI doלָכֶם׃to you

    Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.
