Numbers 30 בְּמִדְבַּר פרק ל׳

1. 1

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאֶל־בְּנֵיel-be/NEto the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelכְּכֹלke/KHOLaccording to allאֲשֶׁר־צִוָּהa/SHER-tsiv/VAthat had commandedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־מֹשֶׁה׃et-Mo/SHEMoses

   And Moses told the children of Israel according to all that the LORD commanded Moses.

2. 2

   וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאֶל־רָאשֵׁיel-ra/SHEto the heads ofהַמַּטּוֹתham/mat/TOTthe tribesלִבְנֵיliv/NEof the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingזֶהzethis isהַדָּבָרhad/da/VARthe thingאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichצִוָּהtsiv/VAhas commandedיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

   And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded.

3. 3

   אִישׁisha manכִּי־יִדֹּרki-yid/DORif vowsנֶדֶרNE/dera vowלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDאוֹ־הִשָּׁבַעo-hish/SHA/vaor swearsשְׁבֻעָהshe/vu/Aan oathלֶאְסֹרle/SORto bindאִסָּרis/SARa bondעַל־נַפְשׁוֹal-naf/SHOupon his soulלֹאlonotיַחֵלya/CHELhe shall breakדְּבָרוֹde/va/ROhis wordכְּכׇל־הַיֹּצֵאke/KHOL-hay/yo/TSEaccording to all that proceedsמִפִּיוmip/PIVout of his mouthיַעֲשֶׂה׃ya/a/SEhe shall do

   If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.

   וְאִשָּׁהve/ish/SHAand a womanכִּי־תִדֹּרki-tid/DORif vowsנֶדֶרNE/dera vowלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDוְאָסְרָהve/a/se/RAand binds herself byאִסָּרis/SARa bondבְּבֵיתbe/VETin the house ofאָבִיהָa/VI/haher fatherבִּנְעֻרֶיהָ׃bin/u/RE/hain her youth

   If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father's house in her youth;

   וְשָׁמַעve/sha/MAand hearsאָבִיהָa/VI/haher fatherאֶת־נִדְרָהּet-nid/RAher vowוֶאֱסָרָהּve/e/sa/RAand her bondאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwith whichאָסְרָהa/se/RAshe has boundעַל־נַפְשָׁהּal-naf/SHAupon herselfוְהֶחֱרִישׁve/he/che/RISHand holds his peaceלָהּlaat herאָבִיהָa/VI/haher fatherוְקָמוּve/KA/muthen shall standכׇּל־נְדָרֶיהָkol-ne/da/RE/haall her vowsוְכׇל־אִסָּרve/KHOL-is/SARand every bondאֲשֶׁר־אָסְרָהa/SHER-a/se/RAwhich she has boundעַל־נַפְשָׁהּal-naf/SHAupon herselfיָקוּם׃ya/KUMshall stand

   And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.

   וְאִם־הֵנִיאve/IM-he/NIbut if disallowsאָבִיהָa/VI/haher fatherאֹתָהּo/TAherבְּיוֹםbe/YOMon the dayשׇׁמְעוֹshom/Ohe hearsכׇּל־נְדָרֶיהָkol-ne/da/RE/haall her vowsוֶאֱסָרֶיהָve/e/sa/RE/haor her bondsאֲשֶׁר־אָסְרָהa/SHER-a/se/RAwhich she has boundעַל־נַפְשָׁהּal-naf/SHAupon herselfלֹאlonotיָקוּםya/KUMshall standוַיהֹוָהve-Adonaiand the LORDיִסְלַח־לָהּyis/LACH-lawill forgive herכִּי־הֵנִיאki-he/NIbecause disallowedאָבִיהָa/VI/haher fatherאֹתָהּ׃o/TAher

   But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her.

7. 7

   וְאִם־הָיוֹve/IM-ha/YOand if beתִהְיֶהtih/YEshe beלְאִישׁle/ISHto a husbandוּנְדָרֶיהָu/ne/da/RE/haand her vowsעָלֶיהָa/LE/haare upon herאוֹoorמִבְטָאmiv/TAthe rash utterance ofשְׂפָתֶיהָse/fa/TE/haher lipsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwith whichאָסְרָהa/se/RAshe has boundעַל־נַפְשָׁהּ׃al-naf/SHAupon herself

   And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;

8. 8

   וְשָׁמַעve/sha/MAand hearsאִישָׁהּi/SHAher husbandבְּיוֹםbe/YOMon the dayשׇׁמְעוֹshom/Ohe hearsוְהֶחֱרִישׁve/he/che/RISHand holds his peaceלָהּlaat herוְקָמוּve/KA/muthen shall standנְדָרֶיהָne/da/RE/haher vowsוֶאֱסָרֶהָve/e/sa/RE/haand her bondsאֲשֶׁר־אָסְרָהa/SHER-a/se/RAwhich she has boundעַל־נַפְשָׁהּal-naf/SHAupon herselfיָקֻמוּ׃ya/KU/muthey shall stand

   And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.

9. 9

   וְאִםve/IMbut ifבְּיוֹםbe/YOMon the dayשְׁמֹעַshe/MO/ahearsאִישָׁהּi/SHAher husbandיָנִיאya/NIdisallowsאוֹתָהּo/TAherוְהֵפֵרve/he/FERthen he shall annulאֶת־נִדְרָהּet-nid/RAher vowאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich isעָלֶיהָa/LE/haupon herוְאֵתve/ETandמִבְטָאmiv/TAthe rash utterance ofשְׂפָתֶיהָse/fa/TE/haher lipsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwith whichאָסְרָהa/se/RAshe has boundעַל־נַפְשָׁהּal-naf/SHAupon herselfוַיהֹוָהve-Adonaiand the LORDיִסְלַח־לָהּ׃yis/LACH-lawill forgive her

   But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her.

10. 10

    וְנֵדֶרve/NE/derbut the vow ofאַלְמָנָהal/ma/NAa widowוּגְרוּשָׁהu/ge/ru/SHAand a divorced womanכֹּלkoleverythingאֲשֶׁר־אָסְרָהa/SHER-a/se/RAwith which she has boundעַל־נַפְשָׁהּal-naf/SHAupon herselfיָקוּםya/KUMit shall standעָלֶיהָ׃a/LE/haagainst her

    But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.

11. 11

    וְאִם־בֵּיתve/IM-betand if in the house ofאִישָׁהּi/SHAher husbandנָדָרָהna/DA/rashe vowedאוֹ־אָסְרָהo-a/se/RAor boundאִסָּרis/SARa bondעַל־נַפְשָׁהּal-naf/SHAupon herselfבִּשְׁבֻעָה׃bish/vu/Awith an oath

    And if she vowed in her husband's house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath;

12. 12

    וְשָׁמַעve/sha/MAand hearsאִישָׁהּi/SHAher husbandוְהֶחֱרִשׁve/he/che/RISHand held his peaceלָהּlaat herלֹאlonotהֵנִיאhe/NIdisallowedאֹתָהּo/TAherוְקָמוּve/KA/muthen shall standכׇּל־נְדָרֶיהָkol-ne/da/RE/haall her vowsוְכׇל־אִסָּרve/KHOL-is/SARand every bondאֲשֶׁר־אָסְרָהa/SHER-a/se/RAwhich she has boundעַל־נַפְשָׁהּal-naf/SHAupon herselfיָקוּם׃ya/KUMshall stand

    And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.

13. 13

    וְאִם־הָפֵרve/IM-ha/FERbut if annulיָפֵרya/FERhas annulledאֹתָםo/TAMthemאִישָׁהּi/SHAher husbandבְּיוֹםbe/YOMon the dayשׇׁמְעוֹshom/Ohe hearsכׇּל־מוֹצָאkol-mo/TSAwhatever proceeded out ofשְׂפָתֶיהָse/fa/TE/haher lipsלִנְדָרֶיהָlin/da/RE/haconcerning her vowsוּלְאִסַּרu/le/is/SARor concerning the bond ofנַפְשָׁהּnaf/SHAher soulלֹאlonotיָקוּםya/KUMshall standאִישָׁהּi/SHAher husbandהֲפֵרָםha/fe/RAMhas annulled themוַיהֹוָהve-Adonaiand the LORDיִסְלַח־לָהּ׃yis/LACH-lawill forgive her

    But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the LORD shall forgive her.

14. 14

    כׇּל־נֵדֶרkol-NE/derevery vowוְכׇל־שְׁבֻעַתve/KHOL-she/vu/ATand every oath ofאִסָּרis/SARa bondלְעַנֹּתle/an/NOTto afflictנָפֶשׁNA/feshthe soulאִישָׁהּi/SHAher husbandיְקִימֶנּוּye/ki/MEN/numay establish itוְאִישָׁהּve/i/SHAand her husbandיְפֵרֶנּוּ׃ye/fe/REN/numay annul it

    Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.

15. 15

    וְאִם־הַחֲרֵשׁve/IM-ha/cha/RESHbut if keep silentיַחֲרִישׁya/cha/RISHkeeps silentלָהּlaat herאִישָׁהּi/SHAher husbandמִיּוֹםmiy/YOMfrom dayאֶל־יוֹםel-yomto dayוְהֵקִיםve/he/KIMthen he establishesאֶת־כׇּל־נְדָרֶיהָet-kol-ne/da/RE/haall her vowsאוֹoorאֶת־כׇּל־אֱסָרֶיהָet-kol-e/sa/RE/haall her obligationsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich areעָלֶיהָa/LE/haupon herהֵקִיםhe/KIMhe has establishedאֹתָםo/TAMthemכִּי־הֶחֱרִשׁki-he/che/RISHbecause he held his peaceלָהּlaat herבְּיוֹםbe/YOMon the dayשׇׁמְעוֹ׃shom/Ohe hears

    But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them.

16. 16

    וְאִם־הָפֵרve/IM-ha/FERbut if annulיָפֵרya/FERhe annulsאֹתָםo/TAMthemאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterשׇׁמְעוֹshom/Ohe hearsוְנָשָׂאve/na/SAthen he shall bearאֶת־עֲוֺנָהּ׃et-a/vo/NAher iniquity

    But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity.

17. 17

    אֵלֶּהEL/lethese areהַחֻקִּיםha/chuk/KIMthe statutesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichצִוָּהtsiv/VAcommandedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־מֹשֶׁהet-Mo/SHEMosesבֵּיןbenbetweenאִישׁisha manלְאִשְׁתּוֹle/ish/TOand his wifeבֵּין־אָבben-avbetween a fatherלְבִתּוֹle/vit/TOand his daughterבִּנְעֻרֶיהָbin/u/RE/hain her youthבֵּיתbetin the house ofאָבִיהָ׃a/VI/haher father

    These are the statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father's house.
