Micah 4 מִיכָה פרק ד׳

1. 1

   וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall come to passבְּאַחֲרִיתbe/a/cha/RITin the lastהַיָּמִיםhay/ya/MIMthe daysיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beהַרharthe mountain ofבֵּית־יְהֹוָהbet-Adonaithe house of the LORDנָכוֹןna/KHONestablishedבְּרֹאשׁbe/ROSHin the top ofהֶהָרִיםhe/ha/RIMthe mountainsוְנִשָּׂאve/nis/SAand shall be exaltedהוּאhuitמִגְּבָעוֹתmig/ge/va/OTabove the hillsוְנָהֲרוּve/na/ha/RUand shall flowעָלָיוa/LAYVto itעַמִּים׃am/MIMpeoples

   But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.

   וְהָלְכוּve/ha/le/KHUand shall goגּוֹיִםgo/YIMnationsרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyוְאָמְרוּve/a/me/RUand shall sayלְכוּle/KHUcomeוְנַעֲלֶהve/na/a/LEand let us go upאֶל־הַר־יְהֹוָהel-har-Adonaito the mountain of the LORDוְאֶל־בֵּיתve/EL-betand to the house ofאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיַעֲקֹבYa/a/KOVJacobוְיוֹרֵנוּve/yo/RE/nuand He will teach usמִדְּרָכָיוmid/de/ra/KHAYVof His waysוְנֵלְכָהve/nel/KHAand we will walkבְּאֹרְחֹתָיוbe/or/cho/TAYVin His pathsכִּיkiforמִצִּיּוֹןmits/Tsiy/YONout of Zionתֵּצֵאte/TSEshall go forthתוֹרָהto/RAlawוּדְבַר־יְהֹוָהu/de/VAR-Adonaiand the word of the LORDמִירוּשָׁלָ͏ִם׃mI/ru/sha/LA/yimfrom Jerusalem

   And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

3. 3

   וְשָׁפַטve/sha/FATand He shall judgeבֵּיןbenamongעַמִּיםam/MIMpeoplesרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyוְהוֹכִיחַve/ho/KHI/achand shall rebukeלְגוֹיִםle/go/YIMfor nationsעֲצֻמִיםa/tsu/MIMstrongעַד־רָחוֹקad-ra/CHOKafar offוְכִתְּתוּve/khit/te/TUand they shall beatחַרְבֹתֵיהֶםchar/vo/te/HEMtheir swordsלְאִתִּיםle/it/TIMinto plowsharesוַחֲנִיתֹתֵיהֶםva/cha/ni/to/te/HEMand their spearsלְמַזְמֵרוֹתle/maz/me/ROTinto pruning hooksלֹא־יִשְׂאוּlo-yis/Ushall not lift upגּוֹיgoynationאֶל־גּוֹיel-goyagainst nationחֶרֶבCHE/revswordוְלֹא־יִלְמְדוּןve/LO-yil/me/DUNneither shall they learnעוֹדodany moreמִלְחָמָה׃mil/cha/MAwar

   And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

4. 4

   וְיָשְׁבוּve/ya/she/VUbut they shall sitאִישׁishevery manתַּחַתTA/chatunderגַּפְנוֹgaf/NOhis own vineוְתַחַתve/TA/chatand underתְּאֵנָתוֹte/e/na/TOhis own fig treeוְאֵיןve/ENand there is noמַחֲרִידma/cha/RIDmaking afraidכִּי־פִיki-fifor the mouth ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDצְבָאוֹתTse/va/OTof Hostsדִּבֵּר׃dib/BERhas spoken

   But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it.

5. 5

   כִּיkiforכׇּל־הָעַמִּיםkol-ha/am/MIMall the peoplesיֵלְכוּyel/KHUwalkאִישׁishevery oneבְּשֵׁםbe/SHEMin the name ofאֱלֹהָיוe/lo/HAYVhis Godוַאֲנַחְנוּva/a/NACH/nuand weנֵלֵךְne/LEKHwill walkבְּשֵׁם־יְהֹוָהbe/SHEM-Adonaiin the name of the LORDאֱלֹהֵינוּe/lo/HE/nuour Godלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforeverוָעֶד׃va/EDand ever

   For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.

6. 6

   בַּיּוֹםbay/YOMin the dayהַהוּאha/HUthatנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDאֹסְפָהos/FAI will assembleהַצֹּלֵעָהhats/tso/le/Aher that haltsוְהַנִּדָּחָהve/han/nid/da/CHAand her that is driven outאֲקַבֵּצָהa/kab/BE/tsaI will gatherוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand her whomהֲרֵעֹתִי׃ha/re/O/tiI have afflicted

   In that day, saith the LORD, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted;

7. 7

   וְשַׂמְתִּיve/sam/TIand I will makeאֶת־הַצֹּלֵעָהet-hats/tso/le/Aher that haltsלִשְׁאֵרִיתlish/e/RITa remnantוְהַנַּהֲלָאָהve/han/na/ha/la/Aand her that was cast far offלְגוֹיle/GOYa nationעָצוּםa/TSUMstrongוּמָלַךְu/MA/lakhand shall reignיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMover themבְּהַרbe/HARin mountצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONZionמֵעַתָּהme/at/TAfrom this timeוְעַד־עוֹלָם׃ve/AD-o/LAMand forever

   And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.

8. 8

   וְאַתָּהve/at/TAand youמִגְדַּל־עֵדֶרmig/DAL-E/derO tower of the flockעֹפֶלO/felthe strong hold ofבַּת־צִיּוֹןbat-Tsiy/YONthe daughter of Zionעָדֶיךָa/DE/khaunto youתֵּאתֶהte/TEshall it comeוּבָאָהu/VA/aeven shall comeהַמֶּמְשָׁלָהham/mem/sha/LAthe dominionהָרִאשֹׁנָהha/ri/sho/NAthe formerמַמְלֶכֶתmam/LE/khetthe kingdomלְבַתle/VATto the daughter ofיְרוּשָׁלָ͏ִם׃Ye/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalem

   And thou, O tower of the flock, the strong hold of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, even the first dominion; the kingdom shall come to the daughter of Jerusalem.

9. 9

   עַתָּהat/TAnowלָמָּהLAM/mawhyתָרִיעִיta/RI/ido you cry outרֵעַRE/aa cryהֲמֶלֶךְha/ME/lekhis a kingאֵין־בָּךְen-bakhnone in youאִם־יוֹעֲצֵךְim-yo/a/TSEKHor your counselorאָבָדa/VADperishedכִּי־הֶחֱזִיקֵךְki-he/che/zi/KEKHthat has seized youחִילchilpangsכַּיּוֹלֵדָה׃kay/yo/le/DAas the woman in travail

   Now why dost thou cry out aloud? is there no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished? for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail.

    חוּלִיCHU/libe in painוָגֹחִיva/GO/chiand labor to bring forthבַּת־צִיּוֹןbat-Tsiy/YONO daughter of Zionכַּיּוֹלֵדָהkay/yo/le/DAas the woman in travailכִּי־עַתָּהki-at/TAfor nowתֵצְאִיtets/Iyou shall go forthמִקִּרְיָהmik/kir/YAout of the cityוְשָׁכַנְתְּve/sha/KHANTand you shall dwellבַּשָּׂדֶהbas/sa/DEin the fieldוּבָאתu/VATand you shall goעַד־בָּבֶלad-Ba/VELeven to Babylonשָׁםshamthereתִּנָּצֵלִיtin/na/TSE/liyou shall be deliveredשָׁםshamthereיִגְאָלֵךְyig/a/LEKHshall redeem youיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמִכַּףmik/KAFout of the hand ofאֹיְבָיִךְ׃oy/VA/yikhyour enemies

    Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.

11. 11

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowנֶאֶסְפוּne/es/FUare gatheredעָלַיִךְa/LA/yikhagainst youגּוֹיִםgo/YIMnationsרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyהָאֹמְרִיםha/om/RIMthat sayתֶּחֱנָףte/che/NAFlet her be defiledוְתַחַזve/TA/chazand let gazeבְּצִיּוֹןbe/Tsiy/YONin Zionעֵינֵינוּ׃e/NE/nuour eyes

    Now also many nations are gathered against thee, that say, Let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Zion.

12. 12

    וְהֵמָּהve/HEM/maand theyלֹאlonotיָדְעוּya/de/Uknowמַחְשְׁבוֹתmach/she/VOTthe thoughts ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוְלֹאve/LOand notהֵבִינוּhe/VI/nuunderstandעֲצָתוֹa/tsa/TOHis counselכִּיkiforקִבְּצָםkib/be/TSAMHe has gathered themכֶּעָמִירke/a/MIRas sheavesגֹּרְנָה׃GOR/nainto the floor

    But they know not the thoughts of the LORD, neither understand they his counsel: for he shall gather them as the sheaves into the floor.

13. 13

    קוּמִיKU/miariseוָדוֹשִׁיva/DO/shiand threshבַת־צִיּוֹןvat-Tsiy/YONO daughter of Zionכִּי־קַרְנֵךְki-kar/NEKHfor your hornאָשִׂיםa/SIMI will makeבַּרְזֶלbar/ZELironוּפַרְסֹתַיִךְu/far/so/TA/yikhand your hoovesאָשִׂיםa/SIMI will makeנְחוּשָׁהne/chu/SHAbrassוַהֲדִקּוֹתva/ha/dik/KOTand you shall beat in piecesעַמִּיםam/MIMpeoplesרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyוְהַחֲרַמְתִּיve/ha/cha/ram/TIand I will consecrateלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDבִּצְעָםbits/AMtheir gainוְחֵילָםve/che/LAMand their substanceלַאֲדוֹןla/a/DONto the Lord ofכׇּל־הָאָרֶץ׃kol-ha/A/retsall the earth

    Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.

14. 14

    עַתָּהat/TAnowתִּתְגֹּדְדִיtit/god/DIgather yourself in troopsבַת־גְּדוּדvat-ge/DUDO daughter of troopsמָצוֹרma/TSORsiegeשָׂםsamhe has laidעָלֵינוּa/LE/nuagainst usבַּשֵּׁבֶטbash/SHE/vetwith the rodיַכּוּyak/KUthey shall smiteעַל־הַלְּחִיal-hal/le/CHIon the cheekאֵת־שֹׁפֵטet-sho/FETthe judge ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

    Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid siege against us: they shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.
