    וְנֶפֶשׁve/NE/feshand a soulכִּי־תֶחֱטָאki-te/che/TAif it sinsוְשָׁמְעָהve/sha/me/Aand hearsקוֹלkolthe voice ofאָלָהa/LAan adjurationוְהוּאve/HUand he isעֵדeda witnessאוֹoorרָאָהra/Ahe has seenאוֹoorיָדָעya/DAknownאִם־לוֹאim-loif notיַגִּידyag/GIDhe tellsוְנָשָׂאve/na/SAthen he shall bearעֲוֺנוֹ׃a/vo/NOhis iniquity

    And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.

    Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.

    Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleanness it be that a man shall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty.

    Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these.

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beכִי־יֶאְשַׁםkhi-ye/SHAMwhen he is guiltyלְאַחַתle/a/CHATin oneמֵאֵלֶּהme/EL/leof theseוְהִתְוַדָּהve/hit/vad/DAand he shall confessאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatחָטָאcha/TAhe has sinnedעָלֶיהָ׃a/LE/hain it

    And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing:

    וְהֵבִיאve/he/VIand he shall bringאֶת־אֲשָׁמוֹet-a/sha/MOhis guilt offeringלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDעַלalforחַטָּאתוֹchat/ta/TOhis sinאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichחָטָאcha/TAhe has sinnedנְקֵבָהne/ke/VAa femaleמִן־הַצֹּאןmin-hats/TSONof the flockכִּשְׂבָּהkis/BAa ewe lambאוֹ־שְׂעִירַתo-se/i/RATor a female goat ofעִזִּיםiz/ZIMthe goatsלְחַטָּאתle/chat/TATfor a sin offeringוְכִפֶּרve/khip/PERand he shall make atonementעָלָיוa/LAYVfor himהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestמֵחַטָּאתוֹ׃me/chat/ta/TOfor his sin

    And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.

    וְאִם־לֹאve/IM-loand if notתַגִּיעַtag/GI/areachesיָדוֹya/DOhis handדֵּיdeenough forשֶׂהsea lambוְהֵבִיאve/he/VIand he shall bringאֶת־אֲשָׁמוֹet-a/sha/MOhis guilt offeringאֲשֶׁרa/SHERfor whatחָטָאcha/TAhe has sinnedשְׁתֵּיshtetwoתֹרִיםto/RIMturtledovesאוֹ־שְׁנֵיo-she/NEor twoבְנֵי־יוֹנָהve/NE-yo/NAyoung pigeonsלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDאֶחָדe/CHADoneלְחַטָּאתle/chat/TATfor a sin offeringוְאֶחָדve/e/CHADand oneלְעֹלָה׃le/o/LAfor a burnt offering

    And if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.

    וְהֵבִיאve/he/VIand he shall bringאֹתָםo/TAMthemאֶל־הַכֹּהֵןel-hak/ko/HENto the priestוְהִקְרִיבve/hik/RIVand shall offerאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERthat whichלַחַטָּאתla/chat/TATis for the sin offeringרִאשׁוֹנָהri/sho/NAfirstוּמָלַקu/ma/LAKand wring offאֶת־רֹאשׁוֹet-ro/SHOits headמִמּוּלmim/MULfrom in front ofעׇרְפּוֹor/POits neckוְלֹאve/LOand notיַבְדִּיל׃yav/DILhe shall divide

    And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and wring off his head from his neck, but shall not divide it asunder:

  9. 9

    וְהִזָּהve/hiz/ZAand he shall sprinkleמִדַּםmid/DAMof the blood ofהַחַטָּאתha/chat/TATthe sin offeringעַל־קִירal-kiron the wall ofהַמִּזְבֵּחַham/miz/BE/achthe altarוְהַנִּשְׁאָרve/han/nish/ARand the remainderבַּדָּםbad/DAMof the bloodיִמָּצֵהyim/ma/TSEit shall be drained outאֶל־יְסוֹדel-ye/SODat the base ofהַמִּזְבֵּחַham/miz/BE/achthe altarחַטָּאתchat/TATa sin offeringהוּא׃huit is

    And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a sin offering.

    וְאֶת־הַשֵּׁנִיve/ET-hash/she/NIand the secondיַעֲשֶׂהya/a/SEhe shall offerעֹלָהo/LAa burnt offeringכַּמִּשְׁפָּטkam/mish/PATaccording to the ordinanceוְכִפֶּרve/khip/PERand he shall make atonementעָלָיוa/LAYVfor himהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestמֵחַטָּאתוֹme/chat/ta/TOfor his sinאֲשֶׁר־חָטָאa/SHER-cha/TAwhich he has sinnedוְנִסְלַחve/nis/LACHand it shall be forgivenלוֹ׃lohim

    And he shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the manner: and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.

    וְאִם־לֹאve/IM-loand if notתַשִּׂיגtas/SIGreachesיָדוֹya/DOhis handלִשְׁתֵּיlish/TEtwoתֹרִיםto/RIMturtledovesאוֹoorלִשְׁנֵיlish/NEtwoבְנֵי־יוֹנָהve/NE-yo/NAyoung pigeonsוְהֵבִיאve/he/VIand he shall bringאֶת־קׇרְבָּנוֹet-kor/ba/NOhis offeringאֲשֶׁרa/SHERfor whatחָטָאcha/TAhe has sinnedעֲשִׂירִתa/si/RITa tenth ofהָאֵפָהha/e/FAthe ephahסֹלֶתSO/letfine flourלְחַטָּאתle/chat/TATfor a sin offeringלֹא־יָשִׂיםlo-ya/SIMhe shall put noעָלֶיהָa/LE/haupon itשֶׁמֶןSHE/menoilוְלֹא־יִתֵּןve/LO-yit/TENnor shall he putעָלֶיהָa/LE/haupon itלְבֹנָהle/vo/NAfrankincenseכִּיkibecauseחַטָּאתchat/TATa sin offeringהִוא׃hivit is

    But if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering.

    וֶהֱבִיאָהּve/he/vi/Aand he shall bring itאֶל־הַכֹּהֵןel-hak/ko/HENto the priestוְקָמַץve/ka/MATSand he shall take a handfulהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestמִמֶּנָּהmim/MEN/naof itמְלוֹאme/LOthe fill ofקֻמְצוֹkum/TSOhis handfulאֶת־אַזְכָּרָתָהּet-az/ka/ra/TAits memorial portionוְהִקְטִירve/hik/TIRand shall burnהַמִּזְבֵּחָהham/miz/BE/chaon the altarעַלaluponאִשֵּׁיish/SHEthe offerings by fire ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDחַטָּאתchat/TATa sin offeringהִוא׃hivit is

    Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, even a memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a sin offering.

  13. 13

    וְכִפֶּרve/khip/PERand he shall make atonementעָלָיוa/LAYVfor himהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestעַל־חַטָּאתוֹal-chat/ta/TOfor his sinאֲשֶׁר־חָטָאa/SHER-cha/TAwhich he has sinnedמֵאַחַתme/a/CHATin any oneמֵאֵלֶּהme/EL/leof theseוְנִסְלַחve/nis/LACHand it shall be forgivenלוֹlohimוְהָיְתָהve/ha/ye/TAand it shall beלַכֹּהֵןlak/ko/HENthe priest'sכַּמִּנְחָה׃kam/min/CHAas the grain offering

    And the priest shall make an atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him: and the remnant shall be the priest's, as a meat offering.

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesלֵּאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

  15. 15

    נֶפֶשׁNE/fesha soulכִּי־תִמְעֹלki-tim/OLwhen it acts unfaithfullyמַעַלMA/alunfaithfulnessוְחָטְאָהve/cha/te/Aand sinsבִּשְׁגָגָהbish/ga/GAby inadvertenceמִקׇּדְשֵׁיmik/kod/SHEin the holy things ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוְהֵבִיאve/he/VIand he shall bringאֶת־אֲשָׁמוֹet-a/sha/MOhis guilt offeringלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDאַיִלA/yila ramתָּמִיםta/MIMwithout blemishמִן־הַצֹּאןmin-hats/TSONof the flockבְּעֶרְכְּךָbe/er/ke/KHAby your estimationכֶּסֶף־שְׁקָלִיםKE/sef-she/ka/LIMin shekels of silverבְּשֶׁקֶל־הַקֹּדֶשׁbe/SHE/kel-hak/KO/deshby the shekel of the sanctuaryלְאָשָׁם׃le/a/SHAMfor a guilt offering

    If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering:

    וְאֵתve/ETandאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat whichחָטָאcha/TAhe has sinnedמִן־הַקֹּדֶשׁmin-hak/KO/deshin the holy thingיְשַׁלֵּםye/shal/LEMhe shall make goodוְאֶת־חֲמִישִׁתוֹve/ET-cha/mi/shi/TOand the fifth part of itיוֹסֵףyo/SEFhe shall addעָלָיוa/LAYVto itוְנָתַןve/na/TANand giveאֹתוֹo/TOitלַכֹּהֵןlak/ko/HENto the priestוְהַכֹּהֵןve/hak/ko/HENand the priestיְכַפֵּרye/khap/PERshall make atonementעָלָיוa/LAYVto itבְּאֵילbe/ELwith the ram ofהָאָשָׁםha/a/SHAMthe guilt offeringוְנִסְלַחve/nis/LACHand it shall be forgivenלוֹ׃lohim

    And he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.

    וְאִם־נֶפֶשׁve/IM-NE/feshand if a soulכִּיkiwhenתֶחֱטָאte/che/TAsinsוְעָשְׂתָהve/a/se/TAand doesאַחַתa/CHATanyמִכׇּל־מִצְוֺתmik/KOL-mits/VOTof all the commandments ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichלֹאlonotתֵעָשֶׂינָהte/a/SE/nashould be doneוְלֹא־יָדַעve/LO-ya/DAand he did not knowוְאָשֵׁםve/a/SHEMyet is guiltyוְנָשָׂאve/na/SAand shall bearעֲוֺנוֹ׃a/vo/NOhis iniquity

    And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.

  18. 18

    וְהֵבִיאve/he/VIand he shall bringאַיִלA/yila ramתָּמִיםta/MIMwithout blemishמִן־הַצֹּאןmin-hats/TSONof the flockבְּעֶרְכְּךָbe/er/ke/KHAby your estimationלְאָשָׁםle/a/SHAMfor a guilt offeringאֶל־הַכֹּהֵןel-hak/ko/HENto the priestוְכִפֶּרve/khip/PERand he shall make atonementעָלָיוa/LAYVfor himהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestעַלalforשִׁגְגָתוֹshig/ga/TOhis errorאֲשֶׁר־שָׁגָגa/SHER-sha/GAGin which he erredוְהוּאve/HUand heלֹא־יָדַעlo-ya/DAdid not knowוְנִסְלַחve/nis/LACHand it shall be forgivenלוֹ׃lohim

    And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred and wist it not, and it shall be forgiven him.

  19. 19

    אָשָׁםa/SHAMa guilt offeringהוּאhuit isאָשֹׁםa/SHOMguiltyאָשַׁםa/SHAMhe is guiltyלַיהֹוָה׃la-Adonaito the LORD

    It is a trespass offering: he hath certainly trespassed against the LORD.

  20. 20

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesלֵּאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

  21. 21

    נֶפֶשׁNE/fesha soulכִּיkiifתֶחֱטָאte/che/TAsinsוּמָעֲלָהu/ma/a/LAand acts unfaithfullyמַעַלMA/alunfaithfulnessבַּיהֹוָהba-Adonaiagainst the LORDוְכִחֵשׁve/khi/CHESHand lies toבַּעֲמִיתוֹba/a/mi/TOhis neighborבְּפִקָּדוֹןbe/fik/ka/DONabout a depositאוֹ־בִתְשׂוּמֶתo-vit/SU/metor a pledge ofיָדyadhandאוֹoorבְגָזֵלve/ga/ZELor about robberyאוֹoorעָשַׁקa/SHAKhas extorted fromאֶת־עֲמִיתוֹ׃et-a/mi/TOhis neighbor

    If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour;

  22. 22

    אוֹ־מָצָאo-ma/TSAor has foundאֲבֵדָהa/ve/DAa lost thingוְכִחֶשׁve/KHI/cheshand liesבָּהּbaabout itוְנִשְׁבַּעve/nish/BAand swearsעַל־שָׁקֶרal-SHA/kerfalselyעַל־אַחַתal-a/CHATin any oneמִכֹּלmik/KOLof allאֲשֶׁר־יַעֲשֶׂהa/SHER-ya/a/SEthat doesהָאָדָםha/a/DAMa manלַחֲטֹאla/cha/TOsinningבָהֵנָּה׃va/HEN/nain them

    Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein:

  23. 23

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beכִּי־יֶחֱטָאki-ye/che/TAbecause he has sinnedוְאָשֵׁםve/a/SHEMand is guiltyוְהֵשִׁיבve/he/SHIVand he shall restoreאֶת־הַגְּזֵלָהet-hag/ge/ze/LAthe thing robbedאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatגָּזָלga/ZALhe robbedאוֹoorאֶת־הָעֹשֶׁקet-ha/O/shekthe thing extortedאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatעָשָׁקa/SHAKhe extortedאוֹoorאֶת־הַפִּקָּדוֹןet-hap/pik/ka/DONthe item entrustedאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהׇפְקַדhof/KADwas entrustedאִתּוֹit/TOwith himאוֹoorאֶת־הָאֲבֵדָהet-ha/a/ve/DAthe thing lostאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatמָצָא׃ma/TSAhe found

    Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found,

  24. 24

    אוֹoorמִכֹּלmik/KOLallאֲשֶׁר־יִשָּׁבַעa/SHER-yish/sha/VAabout which he has swornעָלָיוa/LAYVabout itלַשֶּׁקֶרlash/SHE/kerfalselyוְשִׁלַּםve/shil/LAMhe shall even restoreאֹתוֹo/TOitבְּרֹאשׁוֹbe/ro/SHOin fullוַחֲמִשִׁתָיוva/cha/mi/shi/TAYVand the fifth part of itיֹסֵףyo/SEFhe shall addעָלָיוa/LAYVto itלַאֲשֶׁרla/a/SHERto the oneהוּאhuitלוֹlois hisיִתְּנֶנּוּyit/te/NEN/nuhe shall give itבְּיוֹםbe/YOMon the day ofאַשְׁמָתוֹ׃ash/ma/TOhis guilt

    Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering.

    וְאֶת־אֲשָׁמוֹve/ET-a/sha/MOand his guilt offeringיָבִיאya/VIhe shall bringלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDאַיִלA/yila ramתָּמִיםta/MIMwithout blemishמִן־הַצֹּאןmin-hats/TSONof the flockבְּעֶרְכְּךָbe/er/ke/KHAby your estimationלְאָשָׁםle/a/SHAMfor a guilt offeringאֶל־הַכֹּהֵן׃el-hak/ko/HENto the priest

    And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest:

  26. 26

    וְכִפֶּרve/khip/PERand he shall make atonementעָלָיוa/LAYVfor himהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוְנִסְלַחve/nis/LACHand it shall be forgivenלוֹlohimעַל־אַחַתal-a/CHATfor any oneמִכֹּלmik/KOLof allאֲשֶׁר־יַעֲשֶׂהa/SHER-ya/a/SEthat he doesלְאַשְׁמָהle/ash/MAbecoming guiltyבָהּ׃vain it

    And the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD: and it shall be forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath done in trespassing therein.
