    וַיְדַבֵּרand spokeיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהto Mosesלֵּאמֹר׃saying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

    דַּבֵּרspeakאֶל־בְּנֵיunto the sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelלֵאמֹרsayingנֶפֶשׁa soulכִּי־תֶחֱטָאwhen it sinsבִשְׁגָגָהby inadvertenceמִכֹּלof allמִצְוֺתthe commandments ofיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֲשֶׁרwhichלֹאnotתֵעָשֶׂינָהshall be doneוְעָשָׂהand doesמֵאַחַתany oneמֵהֵנָּה׃of them

    Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:

    אִםifהַכֹּהֵןthe priestהַמָּשִׁיחַthe anointedיֶחֱטָאsinsלְאַשְׁמַתto the guilt ofהָעָםthe peopleוְהִקְרִיבand shall offerעַלuponחַטָּאתוֹhis sinאֲשֶׁרwhichחָטָאhe has committedפַּרa bullockבֶּן־בָּקָרyoung of the herdתָּמִיםwithout blemishלַיהֹוָהto the LORDלְחַטָּאת׃to a sin offering

    If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering.

    וְהֵבִיאand he will bringאֶת־הַפָּרthe young bullאֶל־פֶּתַחto the door ofאֹהֶלthe tent ofמוֹעֵדthe congregationלִפְנֵיbeforeיְהֹוָהthe LORDוְסָמַךְand shall layאֶת־יָדוֹhis handעַל־רֹאשׁupon the head ofהַפָּרthe bullockוְשָׁחַטand shall slaughterאֶת־הַפָּרthe young bullלִפְנֵיbeforeיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

    And he shall bring the bullock unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD; and shall lay his hand upon the bullock's head, and kill the bullock before the LORD.

    וְלָקַחand takeהַכֹּהֵןthe priestהַמָּשִׁיחַthe anointedמִדַּםfrom the blood ofהַפָּרthe bullockוְהֵבִיאand he will bringאֹתוֹitאֶל־אֹהֶלto the tent ofמוֹעֵד׃the congregation

    And the priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock's blood, and bring it to the tabernacle of the congregation:

    וְטָבַלand he will dipהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֶת־אֶצְבָּעוֹhis fingerבַּדָּםin the bloodוְהִזָּהand he will spatterמִן־הַדָּםfrom the bloodשֶׁבַעsevenפְּעָמִיםtimesלִפְנֵיbeforeיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶת־פְּנֵיface ofפָּרֹכֶתthe veil ofהַקֹּדֶשׁ׃the sanctuary

    And the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before the LORD, before the vail of the sanctuary.

    וְנָתַןand he shall giveהַכֹּהֵןthe priestמִן־הַדָּםfrom the bloodעַל־קַרְנוֹתupon the horns ofמִזְבַּחthe altar ofקְטֹרֶתincenseהַסַּמִּיםthe perfumeלִפְנֵיbeforeיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֲשֶׁרwhichבְּאֹהֶלin the tent ofמוֹעֵדthe congregationוְאֵתandכׇּל־דַּםall blood ofהַפָּרthe bullockיִשְׁפֹּךְhe shall pour outאֶל־יְסוֹדto foundationמִזְבַּחthe altar ofהָעֹלָהthe burnt offeringאֲשֶׁר־פֶּתַחwhich is at the door ofאֹהֶלthe tent ofמוֹעֵד׃the congregation

    And the priest shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar of sweet incense before the LORD, which is in the tabernacle of the congregation; and shall pour all the blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

    וְאֶת־כׇּל־חֵלֶבand all the fat ofפַּרa bullockהַחַטָּאתthe sinיָרִיםhe will lift upמִמֶּנּוּfrom himאֶת־הַחֵלֶבthe fatהַמְכַסֶּהthat coversעַל־הַקֶּרֶבupon the entrailsוְאֵתandכׇּל־הַחֵלֶבall the fatאֲשֶׁרwhichעַל־הַקֶּרֶב׃upon the entrails

    And he shall take off from it all the fat of the bullock for the sin offering; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is upon the inwards,

  9. 9

    וְאֵתandשְׁתֵּיtwoהַכְּלָיֹתthe kidneysוְאֶת־הַחֵלֶבand the fatאֲשֶׁרwhichעֲלֵיהֶןupon themאֲשֶׁרwhichעַל־הַכְּסָלִיםupon the loinsוְאֶת־הַיֹּתֶרֶתand the lobeעַל־הַכָּבֵדupon the liverעַל־הַכְּלָיוֹתupon the kidneysיְסִירֶנָּה׃he will remove it

    And the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the flanks, and the caul above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away,

  10. 10

    כַּאֲשֶׁרasיוּרַםit is lifted upמִשּׁוֹרfrom the ox ofזֶבַחsacrificeהַשְּׁלָמִיםthe peace offeringוְהִקְטִירָםand he will burn themהַכֹּהֵןthe priestעַלuponמִזְבַּחthe altar ofהָעֹלָה׃the burnt offering

    As it was taken off from the bullock of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall burn them upon the altar of the burnt offering.

  11. 11

    וְאֶת־עוֹרand a skin ofהַפָּרthe bullockוְאֶת־כׇּל־בְּשָׂרוֹand all its fleshעַל־רֹאשׁוֹupon his headוְעַל־כְּרָעָיוand upon its legsוְקִרְבּוֹand its entrailsוּפִרְשׁוֹ׃and its offal

    And the skin of the bullock, and all his flesh, with his head, and with his legs, and his inwards, and his dung,

  12. 12

    וְהוֹצִיאand he shall bring outאֶת־כׇּל־הַפָּרall the young bullאֶל־מִחוּץto withoutלַמַּחֲנֶהthe campאֶל־מָקוֹםto a placeטָהוֹרcleanאֶל־שֶׁפֶךְto the pouring out ofהַדֶּשֶׁןthe fatty ashוְשָׂרַףand he will burnאֹתוֹitעַל־עֵצִיםupon woodבָּאֵשׁby fireעַל־שֶׁפֶךְupon the pouring out ofהַדֶּשֶׁןthe fatty ashיִשָּׂרֵף׃it will be burned

    Even the whole bullock shall he carry forth without the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn him on the wood with fire: where the ashes are poured out shall he be burnt.

    וְאִםand ifכׇּל־עֲדַתall the congregation ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelיִשְׁגּוּthey will go astrayוְנֶעְלַםand it will be hiddenדָּבָרa thingמֵעֵינֵיfrom the eyes ofהַקָּהָלthe assemblyוְעָשׂוּand they doאַחַתoneמִכׇּל־מִצְוֺתfrom all the commandments ofיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֲשֶׁרwhichלֹא־תֵעָשֶׂינָהnot shall be doneוְאָשֵׁמוּ׃and they will be guilty

    And if the whole congregation of Israel sin through ignorance, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the assembly, and they have done somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which should not be done, and are guilty;

  14. 14

    וְנוֹדְעָהand it will be made knownהַחַטָּאתthe sinאֲשֶׁרwhichחָטְאוּsinnedעָלֶיהָupon itוְהִקְרִיבוּand shall presentהַקָּהָלthe assemblyפַּרa bullockבֶּן־בָּקָרyoung of the herdלְחַטָּאתto a sin offeringוְהֵבִיאוּand they shall bringאֹתוֹitלִפְנֵיbeforeאֹהֶלthe tent ofמוֹעֵד׃the congregation

    When the sin, which they have sinned against it, is known, then the congregation shall offer a young bullock for the sin, and bring him before the tabernacle of the congregation.

  15. 15

    וְסָמְכוּand they will layזִקְנֵיthe elders ofהָעֵדָהthe congregationאֶת־יְדֵיהֶםtheir handsעַל־רֹאשׁupon the head ofהַפָּרthe bullockלִפְנֵיbeforeיְהֹוָהthe LORDוְשָׁחַטand shall slaughterאֶת־הַפָּרthe young bullלִפְנֵיbeforeיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

    And the elders of the congregation shall lay their hands upon the head of the bullock before the LORD: and the bullock shall be killed before the LORD.

  16. 16

    וְהֵבִיאand he will bringהַכֹּהֵןthe priestהַמָּשִׁיחַthe anointedמִדַּםfrom the blood ofהַפָּרthe bullockאֶל־אֹהֶלto the tent ofמוֹעֵד׃the congregation

    And the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bullock's blood to the tabernacle of the congregation:

  17. 17

    וְטָבַלand he will dipהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֶצְבָּעוֹhis fingerמִן־הַדָּםfrom the bloodוְהִזָּהand he will spatterשֶׁבַעsevenפְּעָמִיםtimesלִפְנֵיbeforeיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֵת־פְּנֵיface ofהַפָּרֹכֶת׃the veil

    And the priest shall dip his finger in some of the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before the LORD, even before the vail.

  18. 18

    וּמִן־הַדָּםand from the bloodיִתֵּןshall giveעַל־קַרְנֹתupon the horns ofהַמִּזְבֵּחַthe altarאֲשֶׁרwhichלִפְנֵיbeforeיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֲשֶׁרwhichבְּאֹהֶלin the tent ofמוֹעֵדthe congregationוְאֵתandכׇּל־הַדָּםall the bloodיִשְׁפֹּךְhe shall pour outאֶל־יְסוֹדto foundationמִזְבַּחthe altar ofהָעֹלָהthe burnt offeringאֲשֶׁר־פֶּתַחwhich is at the door ofאֹהֶלthe tent ofמוֹעֵד׃the congregation

    And he shall put some of the blood upon the horns of the altar which is before the LORD, that is in the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of the burnt offering, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

  19. 19

    וְאֵתandכׇּל־חֶלְבּוֹall its fatיָרִיםhe will lift upמִמֶּנּוּfrom himוְהִקְטִירand shall burnהַמִּזְבֵּחָה׃on the altar

    And he shall take all his fat from him, and burn it upon the altar.

  20. 20

    וְעָשָׂהand he shall doלַפָּרfor the bullockכַּאֲשֶׁרasעָשָׂהhe madeלְפַרfor the bullock ofהַחַטָּאתthe sinכֵּןthusיַעֲשֶׂה־לּוֹhe shall do to itוְכִפֶּרand he will make atonementעֲלֵהֶםupon themהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְנִסְלַחand it will be forgivenלָהֶם׃to them

    And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock for a sin offering, so shall he do with this: and the priest shall make an atonement for them, and it shall be forgiven them.

  21. 21

    וְהוֹצִיאand he shall bring outאֶת־הַפָּרthe young bullאֶל־מִחוּץto withoutלַמַּחֲנֶהthe campוְשָׂרַףand he will burnאֹתוֹitכַּאֲשֶׁרasשָׂרַףhe burnedאֵת־הַפָּרthe young bullהָרִאשׁוֹןthe firstחַטַּאתsin offeringהַקָּהָלthe assemblyהוּא׃it

    And he shall carry forth the bullock without the camp, and burn him as he burned the first bullock: it is a sin offering for the congregation.

  22. 22

    אֲשֶׁרwhichנָשִׂיאa leaderיֶחֱטָאsinsוְעָשָׂהand doesאַחַתoneמִכׇּל־מִצְוֺתfrom all the commandments ofיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהָיוhis Godאֲשֶׁרwhichלֹא־תֵעָשֶׂינָהnot shall be doneבִּשְׁגָגָהby inadvertenceוְאָשֵׁם׃and he will be guilty

    When a ruler hath sinned, and done somewhat through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD his God concerning things which should not be done, and is guilty;

  23. 23

    אוֹ־הוֹדַעor is made knownאֵלָיוto himחַטָּאתוֹhis sinאֲשֶׁרwhichחָטָאhe has committedבָּהּin itוְהֵבִיאand he will bringאֶת־קׇרְבָּנוֹhis offeringשְׂעִירa male goat ofעִזִּיםgoatsזָכָרmaleתָּמִים׃without blemish

    Or if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge; he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a male without blemish:

  24. 24

    וְסָמַךְand shall layיָדוֹhis handעַל־רֹאשׁupon the head ofהַשָּׂעִירthe male goatוְשָׁחַטand shall slaughterאֹתוֹitבִּמְקוֹםat the place ofאֲשֶׁר־יִשְׁחַטwhich he slaughtersאֶת־הָעֹלָהthe burnt offeringלִפְנֵיbeforeיְהֹוָהthe LORDחַטָּאתsinהוּא׃it

    And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the goat, and kill it in the place where they kill the burnt offering before the LORD: it is a sin offering.

  25. 25

    וְלָקַחand takeהַכֹּהֵןthe priestמִדַּםfrom the blood ofהַחַטָּאתthe sinבְּאֶצְבָּעוֹwith his fingerוְנָתַןand he shall giveעַל־קַרְנֹתupon the horns ofמִזְבַּחthe altar ofהָעֹלָהthe burnt offeringוְאֶת־דָּמוֹand his bloodיִשְׁפֹּךְhe shall pour outאֶל־יְסוֹדto foundationמִזְבַּחthe altar ofהָעֹלָה׃the burnt offering

    And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out his blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt offering.

  26. 26

    וְאֶת־כׇּל־חֶלְבּוֹand all its fatיַקְטִירhe will burnהַמִּזְבֵּחָהon the altarכְּחֵלֶבlike the fat ofזֶבַחsacrificeהַשְּׁלָמִיםthe peace offeringוְכִפֶּרand he will make atonementעָלָיוupon himהַכֹּהֵןthe priestמֵחַטָּאתוֹfrom his sinוְנִסְלַחand it will be forgivenלוֹ׃to him

    And he shall burn all his fat upon the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace offerings: and the priest shall make an atonement for him as concerning his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.

  27. 27

    וְאִם־נֶפֶשׁand if a soulאַחַתoneתֶּחֱטָאsinsבִשְׁגָגָהby inadvertenceמֵעַםfrom the people ofהָאָרֶץthe landבַּעֲשֹׂתָהּin her doingאַחַתoneמִמִּצְוֺתof the commandments ofיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֲשֶׁרwhichלֹא־תֵעָשֶׂינָהnot shall be doneוְאָשֵׁם׃and he will be guilty

    And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of the LORD concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;

  28. 28

    אוֹorהוֹדַעis made knownאֵלָיוto himחַטָּאתוֹhis sinאֲשֶׁרwhichחָטָאhe has committedוְהֵבִיאand he will bringקׇרְבָּנוֹhis offeringשְׂעִירַתa female goat ofעִזִּיםgoatsתְּמִימָהwithout blemishנְקֵבָהa femaleעַל־חַטָּאתוֹfor his sinאֲשֶׁרwhichחָטָא׃he has committed

    Or if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge: then he shall bring his offering, a kid of the goats, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned.

  29. 29

    וְסָמַךְand shall layאֶת־יָדוֹhis handעַלuponרֹאשׁthe head ofהַחַטָּאתthe sinוְשָׁחַטand shall slaughterאֶת־הַחַטָּאתthe sinבִּמְקוֹםat the place ofהָעֹלָה׃the burnt offering

    And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay the sin offering in the place of the burnt offering.

  30. 30

    וְלָקַחand takeהַכֹּהֵןthe priestמִדָּמָהּsome of its bloodבְּאֶצְבָּעוֹwith his fingerוְנָתַןand he shall giveעַל־קַרְנֹתupon the horns ofמִזְבַּחthe altar ofהָעֹלָהthe burnt offeringוְאֶת־כׇּל־דָּמָהּand all its bloodיִשְׁפֹּךְhe shall pour outאֶל־יְסוֹדto foundationהַמִּזְבֵּחַ׃the altar

    And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar.

  31. 31

    וְאֶת־כׇּל־חֶלְבָּהּand all its fatיָסִירhe shall removeכַּאֲשֶׁרasהוּסַרwas removedחֵלֶבthe fat ofמֵעַלfrom uponזֶבַחsacrificeהַשְּׁלָמִיםthe peace offeringוְהִקְטִירand shall burnהַכֹּהֵןthe priestהַמִּזְבֵּחָהon the altarלְרֵיחַto an aroma ofנִיחֹחַsoothingלַיהֹוָהto the LORDוְכִפֶּרand he will make atonementעָלָיוupon himהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְנִסְלַחand it will be forgivenלוֹ׃to him

    And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace offerings; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour unto the LORD; and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him.

  32. 32

    וְאִם־כֶּבֶשׂand if a lambיָבִיאshall bringקׇרְבָּנוֹhis offeringלְחַטָּאתto a sin offeringנְקֵבָהa femaleתְמִימָהwithout blemishיְבִיאֶנָּה׃he will bring it

    And if he bring a lamb for a sin offering, he shall bring it a female without blemish.

  33. 33

    וְסָמַךְand shall layאֶת־יָדוֹhis handעַלuponרֹאשׁthe head ofהַחַטָּאתthe sinוְשָׁחַטand shall slaughterאֹתָהּitלְחַטָּאתto a sin offeringבִּמְקוֹםat the place ofאֲשֶׁרwhichיִשְׁחַטhe slaughtersאֶת־הָעֹלָה׃the burnt offering

    And he shall lay his hand upon the head of the sin offering, and slay it for a sin offering in the place where they kill the burnt offering.

  34. 34

    וְלָקַחand takeהַכֹּהֵןthe priestמִדַּםfrom the blood ofהַחַטָּאתthe sinבְּאֶצְבָּעוֹwith his fingerוְנָתַןand he shall giveעַל־קַרְנֹתupon the horns ofמִזְבַּחthe altar ofהָעֹלָהthe burnt offeringוְאֶת־כׇּל־דָּמָהּand all its bloodיִשְׁפֹּךְhe shall pour outאֶל־יְסוֹדto foundationהַמִּזְבֵּחַ׃the altar

    And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering with his finger, and put it upon the horns of the altar of burnt offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar:

  35. 35

    וְאֶת־כׇּל־חֶלְבָּהּand all its fatיָסִירhe shall removeכַּאֲשֶׁרasיוּסַרbe removedחֵלֶב־הַכֶּשֶׂבthe fat of the lambמִזֶּבַחfrom the sacrifice ofהַשְּׁלָמִיםthe peace offeringוְהִקְטִירand shall burnהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֹתָםthemהַמִּזְבֵּחָהon the altarעַלuponאִשֵּׁיthe fire offerings ofיְהֹוָהthe LORDוְכִפֶּרand he will make atonementעָלָיוupon himהַכֹּהֵןthe priestעַל־חַטָּאתוֹfor his sinאֲשֶׁר־חָטָאwhich he has committedוְנִסְלַחand it will be forgivenלוֹ׃to him

    And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of the peace offerings; and the priest shall burn them upon the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: and the priest shall make an atonement for his sin that he hath committed, and it shall be forgiven him.
