Leviticus 27 וַיִּקְרָא פרק כ״ז

   וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesלֵּאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

   And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2. 2

   דַּבֵּרdab/BERspeakאֶל־בְּנֵיel-be/NEto the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand sayאֲלֵהֶםa/le/HEMto themאִישׁisha manכִּיkiwhenיַפְלִאyaf/LImakes a singularנֶדֶרNE/dervowבְּעֶרְכְּךָbe/er/ke/KHAaccording to your valuationנְפָשֹׁתne/fa/SHOTof personsלַיהֹוָה׃la-Adonaito the LORD

   Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When a man shall make a singular vow, the persons shall be for the LORD by thy estimation.

   וְהָיָהve/ha/YAthen shall beעֶרְכְּךָer/ke/KHAyour valuationהַזָּכָרhaz/za/KHARof the maleמִבֶּןmib/BENfromעֶשְׂרִיםes/RIMtwentyשָׁנָהsha/NAyears oldוְעַדve/ADeven toבֶּן־שִׁשִּׁיםben-shish/SHIMsixtyשָׁנָהsha/NAyears oldוְהָיָהve/ha/YAshall beעֶרְכְּךָer/ke/KHAyour valuationחֲמִשִּׁיםcha/mish/SHIMfiftyשֶׁקֶלSHE/kelshekels ofכֶּסֶףKE/sefsilverבְּשֶׁקֶלbe/SHE/kelafter the shekel ofהַקֹּדֶשׁ׃hak/KO/deshthe sanctuary

   And thy estimation shall be of the male from twenty years old even unto sixty years old, even thy estimation shall be fifty shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary.

   וְאִם־נְקֵבָהve/IM-ne/ke/VAand if a femaleהִואhivit isוְהָיָהve/ha/YAthen shall beעֶרְכְּךָer/ke/KHAyour valuationשְׁלֹשִׁיםshe/lo/SHIMthirtyשָׁקֶל׃SHA/kelshekels

   And if it be a female, then thy estimation shall be thirty shekels.

   וְאִםve/IMand ifמִבֶּן־חָמֵשׁmib/BEN-cha/MESHfrom fiveשָׁנִיםsha/NIMyears oldוְעַדve/ADeven toבֶּן־עֶשְׂרִיםben-es/RIMtwentyשָׁנָהsha/NAyears oldוְהָיָהve/ha/YAthen shall beעֶרְכְּךָer/ke/KHAyour valuationהַזָּכָרhaz/za/KHARof the maleעֶשְׂרִיםes/RIMtwentyשְׁקָלִיםshe/ka/LIMshekelsוְלַנְּקֵבָהve/lan/ne/ke/VAand for the femaleעֲשֶׂרֶתa/SE/rettenשְׁקָלִים׃she/ka/LIMshekels

   And if it be from five years old even unto twenty years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male twenty shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

   וְאִםve/IMand ifמִבֶּן־חֹדֶשׁmib/BEN-CHO/deshfrom a month oldוְעַדve/ADeven toבֶּן־חָמֵשׁben-cha/MESHfiveשָׁנִיםsha/NIMyears oldוְהָיָהve/ha/YAthen shall beעֶרְכְּךָer/ke/KHAyour valuationהַזָּכָרhaz/za/KHARof the maleחֲמִשָּׁהcha/mish/SHAfiveשְׁקָלִיםshe/ka/LIMshekelsכָּסֶףKA/sefof silverוְלַנְּקֵבָהve/lan/ne/ke/VAand for the femaleעֶרְכְּךָer/ke/KHAyour valuationשְׁלֹשֶׁתshe/LO/shetthreeשְׁקָלִיםshe/ka/LIMshekelsכָּסֶף׃KA/sefof silver

   And if it be from a month old even unto five years old, then thy estimation shall be of the male five shekels of silver, and for the female thy estimation shall be three shekels of silver.

   וְאִםve/IMand ifמִבֶּן־שִׁשִּׁיםmib/BEN-shish/SHIMfrom sixtyשָׁנָהsha/NAyears oldוָמַעְלָהva/MA/laand aboveאִם־זָכָרim-za/KHARif it is a maleוְהָיָהve/ha/YAthen shall beעֶרְכְּךָer/ke/KHAyour valuationחֲמִשָּׁה־עָשָׂרcha/mish/SHA-a/SARfifteenשָׁקֶלSHA/kelshekelsוְלַנְּקֵבָהve/lan/ne/ke/VAand for the femaleעֲשָׂרָהa/sa/RAtenשְׁקָלִים׃she/ka/LIMshekels

   And if it be from sixty years old and above; if it be a male, then thy estimation shall be fifteen shekels, and for the female ten shekels.

   וְאִם־מָךְve/IM-makhbut if he is poorerהוּאhuheמֵעֶרְכֶּךָme/er/KE/khathan your valuationוְהֶעֱמִידוֹve/he/e/mi/DOthen he shall present himselfלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestוְהֶעֱרִיךְve/he/e/RIKHand shall valueאֹתוֹo/TOhimהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestעַל־פִּיal-piaccording toאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhatתַּשִּׂיגtas/SIGcan reachיַדyadthe hand ofהַנֹּדֵרhan/no/DERhim who vowedיַעֲרִיכֶנּוּya/a/ri/KHEN/nushall value himהַכֹּהֵן׃hak/ko/HENthe priest

   But if he be poorer than thy estimation, then he shall present himself before the priest, and the priest shall value him; according to his ability that vowed shall the priest value him.

9. 9

   וְאִם־בְּהֵמָהve/IM-be/he/MAand if it is a beastאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיַקְרִיבוּyak/RI/vumen offerמִמֶּנָּהmim/MEN/naof itקׇרְבָּןkor/BANan offeringלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDכֹּלkolallאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיִתֵּןyit/TENone givesמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuof itלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDיִהְיֶה־קֹּדֶשׁ׃yih/YE-KO/deshshall be holy

   And if it be a beast, whereof men bring an offering unto the LORD, all that any man giveth of such unto the LORD shall be holy.

10. 10

    לֹאlonotיַחֲלִיפֶנּוּya/cha/li/FEN/nuhe shall alter itוְלֹא־יָמִירve/LO-ya/MIRnor changeאֹתוֹo/TOitטוֹבtova goodבְּרָעbe/RAfor a badאוֹ־רַעo-raor a badבְּטוֹבbe/TOVfor a goodוְאִם־הָמֵרve/IM-ha/MERand if changeיָמִירya/MIRhe changesבְּהֵמָהbe/he/MAbeastבִּבְהֵמָהbiv/he/MAfor beastוְהָיָה־הוּאve/ha/YA-huthen it shall beוּתְמוּרָתוֹu/te/mu/ra/TOand its substituteיִהְיֶה־קֹּדֶשׁ׃yih/YE-KO/deshshall be holy

    He shall not alter it, nor change it, a good for a bad, or a bad for a good: and if he shall at all change beast for beast, then it and the exchange thereof shall be holy.

    וְאִםve/IMand ifכׇּל־בְּהֵמָהkol-be/he/MAany beastטְמֵאָהte/me/Auncleanאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichלֹא־יַקְרִיבוּlo-yak/RI/vuthey do not offerמִמֶּנָּהmim/MEN/naof itקׇרְבָּןkor/BANan offeringלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDוְהֶעֱמִידve/he/e/MIDthen he shall presentאֶת־הַבְּהֵמָהet-hab/be/he/MAthe beastלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהַכֹּהֵן׃hak/ko/HENthe priest

    And if it be any unclean beast, of which they do not offer a sacrifice unto the LORD, then he shall present the beast before the priest:

12. 12

    וְהֶעֱרִיךְve/he/e/RIKHand shall valueהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestאֹתָהּo/TAitבֵּיןbenbetweenטוֹבtovgoodוּבֵיןu/VENand betweenרָעrabadכְּעֶרְכְּךָke/er/ke/KHAaccording to your valuationהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestכֵּןkensoיִהְיֶה׃yih/YEshall it be

    And the priest shall value it, whether it be good or bad: as thou valuest it, who art the priest, so shall it be.

13. 13

    וְאִם־גָּאֹלve/IM-ga/OLbut if redeemיִגְאָלֶנָּהyig/a/LEN/nahe will redeem itוְיָסַףve/ya/SAFthen he shall addחֲמִישִׁתוֹcha/mi/shi/TOthe fifth part of itעַל־עֶרְכֶּךָ׃al-er/KE/khato your valuation

    But if he will at all redeem it, then he shall add a fifth part thereof unto thy estimation.

14. 14

    וְאִישׁve/ISHand a manכִּי־יַקְדִּשׁki-yak/DISHwhen sanctifiesאֶת־בֵּיתוֹet-be/TOhis houseקֹדֶשׁKO/deshholyלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDוְהֶעֱרִיכוֹve/he/e/ri/KHOthen shall value itהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestבֵּיןbenbetweenטוֹבtovgoodוּבֵיןu/VENand betweenרָעrabadכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasיַערִיךְya/RIKHshall valueאֹתוֹo/TOitהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestכֵּןkensoיָקוּם׃ya/KUMshall it stand

    And when a man shall sanctify his house to be holy unto the LORD, then the priest shall estimate it, whether it be good or bad: as the priest shall estimate it, so shall it stand.

15. 15

    וְאִם־הַמַּקְדִּישׁve/IM-ham/mak/DISHand if he who sanctified itיִגְאַלyig/ALwill redeemאֶת־בֵּיתוֹet-be/TOhis houseוְיָסַףve/ya/SAFthen he shall addחֲמִישִׁיתcha/mi/SHITthe fifth part ofכֶּסֶף־עֶרְכְּךָKE/sef-er/ke/KHAthe money of your valuationעָלָיוa/LAYVto itוְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beלוֹ׃lohis

    And if he that sanctified it will redeem his house, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be his.

16. 16

    וְאִםve/IMand ifמִשְּׂדֵהmis/se/DEpart of a field ofאֲחֻזָּתוֹa/chuz/za/TOhis possessionיַקְדִּישׁyak/DISHshall sanctifyאִישׁisha manלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDוְהָיָהve/ha/YAthen shall beעֶרְכְּךָer/ke/KHAyour valuationלְפִיle/FIaccording toזַרְעוֹzar/Oits seedזֶרַעZE/rathe seed ofחֹמֶרCHO/mera homer ofשְׂעֹרִיםse/o/RIMbarleyבַּחֲמִשִּׁיםba/cha/mish/SHIMat fiftyשֶׁקֶלSHE/kelshekels ofכָּסֶף׃KA/sefsilver

    And if a man shall sanctify unto the LORD some part of a field of his possession, then thy estimation shall be according to the seed thereof: an homer of barley seed shall be valued at fifty shekels of silver.

17. 17

    אִם־מִשְּׁנַתim-mish/she/NATif from the year ofהַיֹּבֵלhay/yo/VELthe jubileeיַקְדִּישׁyak/DISHhe sanctifiesשָׂדֵהוּsa/DE/huhis fieldכְּעֶרְכְּךָke/er/ke/KHAaccording to your valuationיָקוּם׃ya/KUMit shall stand

    If he sanctify his field from the year of jubile, according to thy estimation it shall stand.

18. 18

    וְאִם־אַחַרve/IM-a/CHARbut if afterהַיֹּבֵלhay/yo/VELthe jubileeיַקְדִּישׁyak/DISHhe sanctifiesשָׂדֵהוּsa/DE/huhis fieldוְחִשַּׁב־לוֹve/chish/SHAV-lothen shall reckon to himהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestאֶת־הַכֶּסֶףet-hak/KE/sefthe moneyעַל־פִּיal-piaccording toהַשָּׁנִיםhash/sha/NIMthe yearsהַנּוֹתָרֹתhan/no/ta/ROTthat remainעַדaduntilשְׁנַתshe/NATthe year ofהַיֹּבֵלhay/yo/VELthe jubileeוְנִגְרַעve/nig/RAand it shall be abatedמֵעֶרְכֶּךָ׃me/er/KE/khafrom your valuation

    But if he sanctify his field after the jubile, then the priest shall reckon unto him the money according to the years that remain, even unto the year of the jubile, and it shall be abated from thy estimation.

19. 19

    וְאִם־גָּאֹלve/IM-ga/OLand if redeemיִגְאַלyig/ALwill redeemאֶת־הַשָּׂדֶהet-has/sa/DEthe fieldהַמַּקְדִּישׁham/mak/DISHhe who sanctifiedאֹתוֹo/TOitוְיָסַףve/ya/SAFthen he shall addחֲמִשִׁיתcha/mi/SHITthe fifth part ofכֶּסֶף־עֶרְכְּךָKE/sef-er/ke/KHAthe money of your valuationעָלָיוa/LAYVto itוְקָםve/KAMand it shall be assuredלוֹ׃loto him

    And if he that sanctified the field will in any wise redeem it, then he shall add the fifth part of the money of thy estimation unto it, and it shall be assured to him.

20. 20

    וְאִם־לֹאve/IM-loand if notיִגְאַלyig/ALhe will redeemאֶת־הַשָּׂדֶהet-has/sa/DEthe fieldוְאִם־מָכַרve/IM-ma/KHARor if he has soldאֶת־הַשָּׂדֶהet-has/sa/DEthe fieldלְאִישׁle/ISHto a manאַחֵרa/CHERanotherלֹאlonotיִגָּאֵלyig/ga/ELit shall be redeemedעוֹד׃odany more

    And if he will not redeem the field, or if he have sold the field to another man, it shall not be redeemed any more.

21. 21

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAbut shall beהַשָּׂדֶהhas/sa/DEthe fieldבְּצֵאתוֹbe/tse/TOwhen it goes outבַיֹּבֵלvay/yo/VELin the jubileeקֹדֶשׁKO/deshholyלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDכִּשְׂדֵהkis/DEas a fieldהַחֵרֶםha/CHE/remdevotedלַכֹּהֵןlak/ko/HENthe priest'sתִּהְיֶהtih/YEshall beאֲחֻזָּתוֹ׃a/chuz/za/TOthe possession of it

    But the field, when it goeth out in the jubile, shall be holy unto the LORD, as a field devoted; the possession thereof shall be the priest's.

22. 22

    וְאִםve/IMand ifאֶת־שְׂדֵהet-se/DEa fieldמִקְנָתוֹmik/na/TOwhich he has boughtאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich isלֹאlonotמִשְּׂדֵהmis/se/DEof the fields ofאֲחֻזָּתוֹa/chuz/za/TOhis possessionיַקְדִּישׁyak/DISHhe sanctifiesלַיהֹוָה׃la-Adonaito the LORD

    And if a man sanctify unto the LORD a field which he hath bought, which is not of the fields of his possession;

23. 23

    וְחִשַּׁב־לוֹve/chish/SHAV-lothen shall reckon to himהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestאֵת־מִכְסַתet-mikh/SATthe worth ofהָעֶרְכְּךָha/er/ke/KHAyour valuationעַדaduntilשְׁנַתshe/NATthe year ofהַיֹּבֵלhay/yo/VELthe jubileeוְנָתַןve/na/TANand he shall giveאֶת־הָעֶרְכְּךָet-ha/er/ke/KHAyour valuationבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayהַהוּאha/HUthatקֹדֶשׁKO/deshas a holy thingלַיהֹוָה׃la-Adonaito the LORD

    Then the priest shall reckon unto him the worth of thy estimation, even unto the year of the jubile: and he shall give thine estimation in that day, as a holy thing unto the LORD.

24. 24

    בִּשְׁנַתbish/NATin the year ofהַיּוֹבֵלhay/yo/VELthe jubileeיָשׁוּבya/SHUVshall returnהַשָּׂדֶהhas/sa/DEthe fieldלַאֲשֶׁרla/a/SHERto him from whomקָנָהוּka/NA/huit was boughtמֵאִתּוֹme/it/TOfrom himלַאֲשֶׁר־לוֹla/a/SHER-loto whom belongsאֲחֻזַּתa/chuz/ZATthe possession ofהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe land

    In the year of the jubile the field shall return unto him of whom it was bought, even to him to whom the possession of the land did belong.

25. 25

    וְכׇל־עֶרְכְּךָve/KHOL-er/ke/KHAand all your valuationsיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beבְּשֶׁקֶלbe/SHE/kelaccording to the shekel ofהַקֹּדֶשׁhak/KO/deshthe sanctuaryעֶשְׂרִיםes/RIMtwentyגֵּרָהge/RAgerahsיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beהַשָּׁקֶל׃hash/SHA/kelthe shekel

    And all thy estimations shall be according to the shekel of the sanctuary: twenty gerahs shall be the shekel.

26. 26

    אַךְ־בְּכוֹרakh-be/KHORonly the firstlingאֲשֶׁר־יְבֻכַּרa/SHER-ye/vuk/KARwhich is born firstלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDבִּבְהֵמָהbiv/he/MAamong beastsלֹא־יַקְדִּישׁlo-yak/DISHhe shall not sanctifyאִישׁisha manאֹתוֹo/TOitאִם־שׁוֹרim-shorwhether an oxאִם־שֶׂהim-seor a sheepלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaithe LORD'sהוּא׃huit is

    Only the firstling of the beasts, which should be the LORD's firstling, no man shall sanctify it; whether it be ox, or sheep: it is the LORD's.

27. 27

    וְאִםve/IMand ifבַּבְּהֵמָהbab/be/he/MAof a beastהַטְּמֵאָהhat/te/me/Auncleanוּפָדָהu/fa/DAthen he shall ransom itבְעֶרְכֶּךָve/er/KE/khaaccording to your valuationוְיָסַףve/ya/SAFand shall addחֲמִשִׁתוֹcha/mi/shi/TOthe fifth part of itעָלָיוa/LAYVto itוְאִם־לֹאve/IM-loand if notיִגָּאֵלyig/ga/ELit shall be redeemedוְנִמְכַּרve/nim/KARthen it shall be soldבְּעֶרְכֶּךָ׃be/er/KE/khaaccording to your valuation

    And if it be of an unclean beast, then he shall redeem it according to thine estimation, and shall add a fifth part of it thereto: or if it be not redeemed, then it shall be sold according to thy estimation.

    אַךְ־כׇּל־חֵרֶםakh-kol-CHE/rembut every devoted thingאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיַחֲרִםya/cha/RIMdevotesאִישׁisha manלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDמִכׇּל־אֲשֶׁר־לוֹmik/KOL-a/SHER-loof all that is hisמֵאָדָםme/a/DAMof manוּבְהֵמָהu/ve/he/MAand of beastוּמִשְּׂדֵהu/mis/se/DEand of the field ofאֲחֻזָּתוֹa/chuz/za/TOhis possessionלֹאlonotיִמָּכֵרyim/ma/KHERshall be soldוְלֹאve/LOnorיִגָּאֵלyig/ga/ELredeemedכׇּל־חֵרֶםkol-CHE/remevery devoted thingקֹדֶשׁ־קׇדָשִׁיםKO/desh-ko/da/SHIMholy of holiesהוּאhuit isלַיהֹוָה׃la-Adonaito the LORD

    Notwithstanding no devoted thing, that a man shall devote unto the LORD of all that he hath, both of man and beast, and of the field of his possession, shall be sold or redeemed: every devoted thing is most holy unto the LORD.

29. 29

    כׇּל־חֵרֶםkol-CHE/remevery devoted thingאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיׇחֳרַםyo/cho/RAMis devotedמִן־הָאָדָםmin-ha/a/DAMof menלֹאlonotיִפָּדֶהyip/pa/DEshall be ransomedמוֹתmotdieיוּמָת׃yu/MAThe shall be put to death

    None devoted, which shall be devoted of men, shall be redeemed; but shall surely be put to death.

30. 30

    וְכׇל־מַעְשַׂרve/KHOL-ma/SARand all the tithe ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe landמִזֶּרַעmiz/ZE/raof the seed ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe landמִפְּרִיmip/pe/RIor of the fruit ofהָעֵץha/ETSthe treeלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaiis the LORD'sהוּאhuitקֹדֶשׁKO/deshholyלַיהֹוָה׃la-Adonaiis the LORD's

    And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD's: it is holy unto the LORD.

31. 31

    וְאִם־גָּאֹלve/IM-ga/OLand if redeemיִגְאַלyig/ALwill redeemאִישׁisha manמִמַּעַשְׂרוֹmim/ma/as/ROany of his titheחֲמִשִׁיתוֹcha/mi/shi/TOthe fifth part of itיֹסֵףyo/SEFhe shall addעָלָיו׃a/LAYVto it

    And if a man will at all redeem ought of his tithes, he shall add thereto the fifth part thereof.

32. 32

    וְכׇל־מַעְשַׂרve/KHOL-ma/SARand all the tithe ofבָּקָרba/KARthe herdוָצֹאןva/TSONand the flockכֹּלkolwhateverאֲשֶׁר־יַעֲבֹרa/SHER-ya/a/VORpassesתַּחַתTA/chatunderהַשָּׁבֶטhash/SHA/vetthe rodהָעֲשִׂירִיha/a/si/RIthe tenthיִהְיֶה־קֹּדֶשׁyih/YE-KO/deshshall be holyלַיהֹוָה׃la-Adonaito the LORD

    And concerning the tithe of the herd, or of the flock, even of whatsoever passeth under the rod, the tenth shall be holy unto the LORD.

33. 33

    לֹאlonotיְבַקֵּרye/vak/KERhe shall inquireבֵּין־טוֹבben-tovwhether goodלָרַעla/RAor badוְלֹאve/LOnorיְמִירֶנּוּye/mi/REN/nushall he change itוְאִם־הָמֵרve/IM-ha/MERand if changeיְמִירֶנּוּye/mi/REN/nuhe changes itוְהָיָה־הוּאve/ha/YA-huthen itוּתְמוּרָתוֹu/te/mu/ra/TOand its substituteיִהְיֶה־קֹּדֶשׁyih/YE-KO/deshshall be holyלֹאlonotיִגָּאֵל׃yig/ga/ELit shall be redeemed

    He shall not search whether it be good or bad, neither shall he change it: and if he change it at all, then both it and the change thereof shall be holy; it shall not be redeemed.

34. 34

    אֵלֶּהEL/letheseהַמִּצְוֺתham/mits/VOTthe commandmentsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichצִוָּהtsiv/VAcommandedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־מֹשֶׁהet-Mo/SHEMosesאֶל־בְּנֵיel-be/NEto the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelבְּהַרbe/HARin Mountסִינָי׃Si/NAYSinai

    These are the commandments, which the LORD commanded Moses for the children of Israel in mount Sinai.
