Leviticus 26 וַיִּקְרָא פרק כ״ו

1. 1

   לֹא־תַעֲשׂוּlo-ta/a/SUyou shall make noלָכֶםla/KHEMfor yourselvesאֱלִילִםe/li/LIMidolsוּפֶסֶלu/FE/selnor a graven imageוּמַצֵּבָהu/mats/tse/VAor a pillarלֹא־תָקִימוּlo-ta/KI/mushall you rear upלָכֶםla/KHEMfor yourselvesוְאֶבֶןve/E/vennor a stone ofמַשְׂכִּיתmas/KITcarved figureלֹאlonotתִתְּנוּtit/te/NUshall you setבְּאַרְצְכֶםbe/ar/tse/KHEMin your landלְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֺתle/hish/ta/cha/VOTto bow downעָלֶיהָa/LE/hato itכִּיkiforאֲנִיa/NII amיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵיכֶם׃e/lo/he/KHEMyour God

   Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.

2. 2

   אֶת־שַׁבְּתֹתַיet-shab/be/to/TAYmy sabbathsתִּשְׁמֹרוּtish/MO/ruyou shall keepוּמִקְדָּשִׁיu/mik/da/SHIand my sanctuaryתִּירָאוּti/RA/uyou shall reverenceאֲנִיa/NII amיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

   Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.

3. 3

   אִם־בְּחֻקֹּתַיim-be/chuk/ko/TAYif in my statutesתֵּלֵכוּte/LE/khuyou shall walkוְאֶת־מִצְוֺתַיve/ET-mits/vo/TAYand my commandmentsתִּשְׁמְרוּtish/me/RUyou keepוַעֲשִׂיתֶםva/a/si/TEMand doאֹתָם׃o/TAMthem

   If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;

4. 4

   וְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIthen I will giveגִשְׁמֵיכֶםgish/me/KHEMyour rainsבְּעִתָּםbe/it/TAMin their seasonוְנָתְנָהve/na/te/NAand shall yieldהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe landיְבוּלָהּye/vu/LAits increaseוְעֵץve/ETSand the trees ofהַשָּׂדֶהhas/sa/DEthe fieldיִתֵּןyit/TENshall yieldפִּרְיוֹ׃pir/YOtheir fruit

   Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

   וְהִשִּׂיגve/his/SIGand shall reachלָכֶםla/KHEMfor youדַּיִשׁDA/yishthreshingאֶת־בָּצִירet-ba/TSIRthe vintageוּבָצִירu/va/TSIRand the vintageיַשִּׂיגyas/SIGshall reachאֶת־זָרַעet-ZA/rathe sowing timeוַאֲכַלְתֶּםva/a/khal/TEMand you shall eatלַחְמְכֶםlach/me/KHEMyour breadלָשֹׂבַעla/SO/vato the fullוִישַׁבְתֶּםvi/shav/TEMand you shall dwellלָבֶטַחla/VE/tachin safetyבְּאַרְצְכֶם׃be/ar/tse/KHEMin your land

   And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.

6. 6

   וְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand I will giveשָׁלוֹםsha/LOMpeaceבָּאָרֶץba/A/retsin the landוּשְׁכַבְתֶּםu/she/khav/TEMand you shall lie downוְאֵיןve/ENand noneמַחֲרִידma/cha/RIDshall make you afraidוְהִשְׁבַּתִּיve/hish/bat/TIand I will cause to ceaseחַיָּהchay/YAbeastsרָעָהra/Aevilמִן־הָאָרֶץmin-ha/A/retsfrom the landוְחֶרֶבve/CHE/revand the swordלֹא־תַעֲבֹרlo-ta/a/VORshall not go throughבְּאַרְצְכֶם׃be/ar/tse/KHEMin your land

   And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.

7. 7

   וּרְדַפְתֶּםu/re/daf/TEMand you shall pursueאֶת־אֹיְבֵיכֶםet-oy/ve/KHEMyour enemiesוְנָפְלוּve/na/fe/LUand they shall fallלִפְנֵיכֶםlif/ne/KHEMbefore youלֶחָרֶב׃le/CHA/revby the sword

   And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.

8. 8

   וְרָדְפוּve/ra/de/FUand they shall pursueמִכֶּםmik/KEMof youחֲמִשָּׁהcha/mish/SHAfiveמֵאָהme/Aa hundredוּמֵאָהu/me/Aand one hundredמִכֶּםmik/KEMof youרְבָבָהre/va/VAten thousandיִרְדֹּפוּyir/DO/fushall chaseוְנָפְלוּve/na/fe/LUand they shall fallאֹיְבֵיכֶםoy/ve/KHEMyour enemiesלִפְנֵיכֶםlif/ne/KHEMbefore youלֶחָרֶב׃le/CHA/revby the sword

   And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

9. 9

   וּפָנִיתִיu/fa/NI/tiand I will turnאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youוְהִפְרֵיתִיve/hif/re/TIand I will make fruitfulאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouוְהִרְבֵּיתִיve/hir/be/TIand I will multiplyאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouוַהֲקִימֹתִיva/ha/ki/mo/TIand I will establishאֶת־בְּרִיתִיet-be/ri/TImy covenantאִתְּכֶם׃it/te/KHEMwith you

   For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.

10. 10

    וַאֲכַלְתֶּםva/a/khal/TEMand you shall eatיָשָׁןya/SHANold storeנוֹשָׁןno/SHANlong keptוְיָשָׁןve/ya/SHANand the oldמִפְּנֵיmip/pe/NEbecause ofחָדָשׁcha/DASHthe newתּוֹצִיאוּ׃to/TSI/uyou shall bring out

    And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.

11. 11

    וְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand I will setמִשְׁכָּנִיmish/ka/NImy tabernacleבְּתוֹכְכֶםbe/tokh/KHEMamong youוְלֹא־תִגְעַלve/LO-tig/ALand shall not abhorנַפְשִׁיnaf/SHImy soulאֶתְכֶם׃et/KHEMyou

    And I will set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.

12. 12

    וְהִתְהַלַּכְתִּיve/hit/hal/LAKH/tiand I will walkבְּתוֹכְכֶםbe/tokh/KHEMamong youוְהָיִיתִיve/ha/YI/tiand I will beלָכֶםla/KHEMyourלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMGodוְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMand youתִּהְיוּ־לִיtih/YU-lishall be myלְעָם׃le/AMpeople

    And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.

13. 13

    אֲנִיa/NII amיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵיכֶםe/lo/he/KHEMyour Godאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoהוֹצֵאתִיho/TSE/tibrought outאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsout of the land ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptמִהְיֹתmih/YOTthat you should not beלָהֶםla/HEMtheirעֲבָדִיםa/va/DIMslavesוָאֶשְׁבֹּרva/esh/BORand I have brokenמֹטֹתmo/TOTthe bars ofעֻלְּכֶםul/le/KHEMyour yokeוָאוֹלֵךְva/o/LEKHand made goאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouקוֹמְמִיּוּת׃kom/miy/YUTupright

    I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.

14. 14

    וְאִם־לֹאve/IM-loand if notתִשְׁמְעוּtish/me/Uyou hearkenלִיlito meוְלֹאve/LOand notתַעֲשׂוּta/a/SUdoאֵת־כׇּל־הַמִּצְוֺתet-kol-ham/mits/VOTall the commandmentsהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/EL/lethese

    But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;

15. 15

    וְאִם־בְּחֻקֹּתַיve/IM-be/chuk/ko/TAYand if my statutesתִּמְאָסוּtim/A/suyou despiseוְאִםve/IMand ifאֶת־מִשְׁפָּטַיet-mish/pa/TAYmy judgmentsתִּגְעַלtig/ALabhorsנַפְשְׁכֶםnaf/she/KHEMyour soulלְבִלְתִּיle/vil/TIso that notעֲשׂוֹתa/SOTdoאֶת־כׇּל־מִצְוֺתַיet-kol-mits/vo/TAYall my commandmentsלְהַפְרְכֶםle/haf/re/KHEMbut that you breakאֶת־בְּרִיתִי׃et-be/ri/TImy covenant

    And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:

16. 16

    אַף־אֲנִיaf-a/NII alsoאֶעֱשֶׂה־זֹּאתe/e/SE-zotwill do thisלָכֶםla/KHEMto youוְהִפְקַדְתִּיve/hif/kad/TII will even appointעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMover youבֶּהָלָהbe/ha/LAterrorאֶת־הַשַּׁחֶפֶתet-hash/sha/CHE/fetconsumptionוְאֶת־הַקַּדַּחַתve/ET-hak/kad/DA/chatand feverמְכַלּוֹתme/khal/LOTthat consumeעֵינַיִםe/NA/yimthe eyesוּמְדִיבֹתu/me/di/VOTand cause to pineנָפֶשׁNA/feshthe soulוּזְרַעְתֶּםu/ze/ra/TEMand you shall sowלָרִיקla/RIKin vainזַרְעֲכֶםzar/a/KHEMyour seedוַאֲכָלֻהוּva/a/kha/LU/hufor shall eat itאֹיְבֵיכֶם׃oy/ve/KHEMyour enemies

    I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

17. 17

    וְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand I will setפָנַיfa/NAYmy faceבָּכֶםba/KHEMagainst youוְנִגַּפְתֶּםve/nig/gaf/TEMand you shall be struck downלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeאֹיְבֵיכֶםoy/ve/KHEMyour enemiesוְרָדוּve/ra/DUshall reignבָכֶםva/KHEMover youשֹׂנְאֵיכֶםson/e/KHEMthose who hate youוְנַסְתֶּםve/nas/TEMand you shall fleeוְאֵין־רֹדֵףve/EN-ro/DEFwhen none pursuesאֶתְכֶם׃et/KHEMyou

    And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.

18. 18

    וְאִם־עַד־אֵלֶּהve/IM-ad-EL/leand if yet for all thisלֹאlonotתִשְׁמְעוּtish/me/Uyou hearkenלִיlito meוְיָסַפְתִּיve/ya/saf/TIthen I will addלְיַסְּרָהle/yas/se/RAto punishאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouשֶׁבַעSHE/vaseven timesעַל־חַטֹּאתֵיכֶם׃al-chat/to/te/KHEMfor your sins

    And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

19. 19

    וְשָׁבַרְתִּיve/sha/var/TIand I will breakאֶת־גְּאוֹןet-ge/ONthe pride ofעֻזְּכֶםuz/ze/KHEMyour strengthוְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand I will makeאֶת־שְׁמֵיכֶםet-she/me/KHEMyour heavensכַּבַּרְזֶלkab/bar/ZELas ironוְאֶת־אַרְצְכֶםve/ET-ar/tse/KHEMand your landכַּנְּחֻשָׁה׃kan/ne/chu/SHAas bronze

    And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:

20. 20

    וְתַםve/TAMand shall be spentלָרִיקla/RIKin vainכֹּחֲכֶםko/cha/KHEMyour mightוְלֹא־תִתֵּןve/LO-tit/TENfor shall not yieldאַרְצְכֶםar/tse/KHEMyour landאֶת־יְבוּלָהּet-ye/vu/LAits increaseוְעֵץve/ETSnor the trees ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe landלֹאlonotיִתֵּןyit/TENshall yieldפִּרְיוֹ׃pir/YOtheir fruit

    And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.

21. 21

    וְאִם־תֵּלְכוּve/IM-tel/KHUand if you walkעִמִּיim/MIwith meקֶרִיKE/ricontraryוְלֹאve/LOand notתֹאבוּto/VUwillלִשְׁמֹעַlish/MO/ato hearkenלִיlito meוְיָסַפְתִּיve/ya/saf/TII will bring moreעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMupon youמַכָּהmak/KAplaguesשֶׁבַעSHE/vaseven timesכְּחַטֹּאתֵיכֶם׃ke/chat/to/te/KHEMaccording to your sins

    And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.

22. 22

    וְהִשְׁלַחְתִּיve/hish/lach/TII will also sendבָכֶםva/KHEMamong youאֶת־חַיַּתet-chay/YATthe beasts ofהַשָּׂדֶהhas/sa/DEthe fieldוְשִׁכְּלָהve/shik/ke/LAwhich shall rob of childrenאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouוְהִכְרִיתָהve/hikh/RI/taand destroyאֶת־בְּהֶמְתְּכֶםet-be/hem/te/KHEMyour livestockוְהִמְעִיטָהve/him/I/taand make fewאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouוְנָשַׁמּוּve/na/SHAM/muand shall be desolateדַּרְכֵיכֶם׃dar/khe/KHEMyour highways

    I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate.

23. 23

    וְאִם־בְּאֵלֶּהve/IM-be/EL/leand if by these thingsלֹאlonotתִוָּסְרוּtiv/va/se/RUyou will be reformedלִיliby meוַהֲלַכְתֶּםva/ha/lakh/TEMbut walkעִמִּיim/MIwith meקֶרִי׃KE/ricontrary

    And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;

24. 24

    וְהָלַכְתִּיve/ha/lakh/TIand I will walkאַף־אֲנִיaf-a/NII alsoעִמָּכֶםim/ma/KHEMwith youבְּקֶרִיbe/KE/ricontraryוְהִכֵּיתִיve/hik/ke/TIand will strikeאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouגַּם־אָנִיgam-A/nieven IשֶׁבַעSHE/vaseven timesעַל־חַטֹּאתֵיכֶם׃al-chat/to/te/KHEMfor your sins

    Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.

25. 25

    וְהֵבֵאתִיve/he/ve/TIand I will bringעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMupon youחֶרֶבCHE/reva swordנֹקֶמֶתno/KE/metthat shall avengeנְקַם־בְּרִיתne/KAM-be/RITthe vengeance of the covenantוְנֶאֱסַפְתֶּםve/ne/e/saf/TEMand when you are gatheredאֶל־עָרֵיכֶםel-a/re/KHEMwithin your citiesוְשִׁלַּחְתִּיve/shil/lach/TII will sendדֶבֶרDE/verpestilenceבְּתוֹכְכֶםbe/tokh/KHEMamong youוְנִתַּתֶּםve/nit/tat/TEMand you shall be deliveredבְּיַד־אוֹיֵב׃be/YAD-o/YEVinto the hand of the enemy

    And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

26. 26

    בְּשִׁבְרִיbe/shiv/RIwhen I have brokenלָכֶםla/KHEMto youמַטֵּה־לֶחֶםmat/TE-LE/chemthe staff of breadוְאָפוּve/a/FUshall bakeעֶשֶׂרE/sertenנָשִׁיםna/SHIMwomenלַחְמְכֶםlach/me/KHEMyour breadבְּתַנּוּרbe/tan/NURin an ovenאֶחָדe/CHADoneוְהֵשִׁיבוּve/he/SHI/vuand they shall deliverלַחְמְכֶםlach/me/KHEMyour breadבַּמִּשְׁקָלbam/mish/KALby weightוַאֲכַלְתֶּםva/a/khal/TEMand you shall eatוְלֹאve/LOand notתִשְׂבָּעוּ׃tis/BA/ube satisfied

    And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.

27. 27

    וְאִם־בְּזֹאתve/IM-be/ZOTand if for all thisלֹאlonotתִשְׁמְעוּtish/me/Uyou hearkenלִיlito meוַהֲלַכְתֶּםva/ha/lakh/TEMbut walkעִמִּיim/MIwith meבְּקֶרִי׃be/KE/ricontrary

    And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;

28. 28

    וְהָלַכְתִּיve/ha/lakh/TIthen I will walkעִמָּכֶםim/ma/KHEMwith youבַּחֲמַת־קֶרִיba/cha/MAT-KE/ricontrary in furyוְיִסַּרְתִּיve/yis/sar/TIand I will chastiseאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouאַף־אָנִיaf-A/nieven IשֶׁבַעSHE/vaseven timesעַל־חַטֹּאתֵיכֶם׃al-chat/to/te/KHEMfor your sins

    Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

29. 29

    וַאֲכַלְתֶּםva/a/khal/TEMand you shall eatבְּשַׂרbe/SARthe flesh ofבְּנֵיכֶםbe/ne/KHEMyour sonsוּבְשַׂרu/ve/SARand the flesh ofבְּנֹתֵיכֶםbe/no/te/KHEMyour daughtersתֹּאכֵלוּ׃to/KHE/luyou shall eat

    And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.

30. 30

    וְהִשְׁמַדְתִּיve/hish/mad/TIand I will destroyאֶת־בָּמֹתֵיכֶםet-ba/mo/te/KHEMyour high placesוְהִכְרַתִּיve/hikh/rat/TIand cut downאֶת־חַמָּנֵיכֶםet-cham/ma/ne/KHEMyour incense altarsוְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand castאֶת־פִּגְרֵיכֶםet-pig/re/KHEMyour carcassesעַל־פִּגְרֵיal-pig/REupon the carcasses ofגִּלּוּלֵיכֶםgil/lu/le/KHEMyour idolsוְגָעֲלָהve/ga/a/LAand shall abhorנַפְשִׁיnaf/SHImy soulאֶתְכֶם׃et/KHEMyou

    And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.

31. 31

    וְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand I will makeאֶת־עָרֵיכֶםet-a/re/KHEMyour citiesחׇרְבָּהchor/BAwasteוַהֲשִׁמּוֹתִיva/ha/shim/mo/TIand bring to desolationאֶת־מִקְדְּשֵׁיכֶםet-mik/de/she/KHEMyour sanctuariesוְלֹאve/LOand notאָרִיחַa/RI/achwill I smellבְּרֵיחַbe/RE/achthe aroma ofנִיחֹחֲכֶם׃ni/cho/cha/KHEMyour soothing aromas

    And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours.

32. 32

    וַהֲשִׁמֹּתִיva/ha/shim/mo/TIand I will bring into desolationאֲנִיa/NIIאֶת־הָאָרֶץet-ha/A/retsthe landוְשָׁמְמוּve/sha/me/MUand shall be astonishedעָלֶיהָa/LE/haat itאֹיְבֵיכֶםoy/ve/KHEMyour enemiesהַיֹּשְׁבִיםhay/yosh/VIMwho dwellבָּהּ׃bain it

    And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it.

33. 33

    וְאֶתְכֶםve/et/KHEMand youאֱזָרֶהe/za/REI will scatterבַגּוֹיִםvag/go/YIMamong the nationsוַהֲרִיקֹתִיva/ha/ri/ko/TIand will draw outאַחֲרֵיכֶםa/cha/re/KHEMafter youחָרֶבCHA/reva swordוְהָיְתָהve/ha/ye/TAand shall beאַרְצְכֶםar/tse/KHEMyour landשְׁמָמָהshe/ma/MAdesolateוְעָרֵיכֶםve/a/re/KHEMand your citiesיִהְיוּyih/YUshall beחׇרְבָּה׃chor/BAwaste

    And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

34. 34

    אָזazthenתִּרְצֶהtir/TSEshall enjoyהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe landאֶת־שַׁבְּתֹתֶיהָet-shab/be/to/TE/haits sabbathsכֹּלkolallיְמֵיye/MEthe days ofהׇשַּׁמָּהֿhosh/sham/MAits desolationוְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMand you areבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofאֹיְבֵיכֶםoy/ve/KHEMyour enemiesאָזazthenתִּשְׁבַּתtish/BATshall restהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe landוְהִרְצָתve/hir/TSATand enjoyאֶת־שַׁבְּתֹתֶיהָ׃et-shab/be/to/TE/haits sabbaths

    Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.

35. 35

    כׇּל־יְמֵיkol-ye/MEall the days ofהׇשַּׁמָּהֿhosh/sham/MAits desolationתִּשְׁבֹּתtish/BOTit shall restאֵת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERthat whichלֹא־שָׁבְתָהlo-sha/ve/TAit did not restבְּשַׁבְּתֹתֵיכֶםbe/shab/be/to/te/KHEMin your sabbathsבְּשִׁבְתְּכֶםbe/shiv/te/KHEMwhen you dweltעָלֶיהָ׃a/LE/haupon it

    As long as it lieth desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it.

36. 36

    וְהַנִּשְׁאָרִיםve/han/nish/a/RIMand those who are leftבָּכֶםba/KHEMof youוְהֵבֵאתִיve/he/ve/TII will sendמֹרֶךְMO/rekhfaintnessבִּלְבָבָםbil/va/VAMin their heartsבְּאַרְצֹתbe/ar/TSOTin the lands ofאֹיְבֵיהֶםoy/ve/HEMtheir enemiesוְרָדַףve/ra/DAFand shall chaseאֹתָםo/TAMthemקוֹלkolthe sound ofעָלֶהa/LEa leafנִדָּףnid/DAFdrivenוְנָסוּve/NA/suand they shall fleeמְנֻסַת־חֶרֶבme/nu/SAT-CHE/revas fleeing from a swordוְנָפְלוּve/na/fe/LUand they shall fallוְאֵיןve/ENwhen noneרֹדֵף׃ro/DEFpursues

    And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.

37. 37

    וְכָשְׁלוּve/kha/she/LUand they shall stumbleאִישׁ־בְּאָחִיוish-be/a/CHIVone upon anotherכְּמִפְּנֵי־חֶרֶבke/mip/pe/NE-CHE/revas it were before a swordוְרֹדֵףve/ro/DEFand a pursuerאָיִןA/yinthere is noneוְלֹא־תִהְיֶהve/LO-tih/YEand there shall be noלָכֶםla/KHEMfor youתְּקוּמָהte/ku/MApower to standלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeאֹיְבֵיכֶם׃oy/ve/KHEMyour enemies

    And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies.

38. 38

    וַאֲבַדְתֶּםva/a/vad/TEMand you shall perishבַּגּוֹיִםbag/go/YIMamong the nationsוְאׇכְלָהve/okh/LAand shall eat upאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouאֶרֶץE/retsthe land ofאֹיְבֵיכֶם׃oy/ve/KHEMyour enemies

    And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.

39. 39

    וְהַנִּשְׁאָרִיםve/han/nish/a/RIMand those who are leftבָּכֶםba/KHEMof youיִמַּקּוּyim/MAK/kushall pine awayבַּעֲוֺנָםba/a/vo/NAMin their iniquityבְּאַרְצֹתbe/ar/TSOTin the lands ofאֹיְבֵיכֶםoy/ve/KHEMyour enemiesוְאַףve/AFand alsoבַּעֲוֺנֹתba/a/vo/NOTin the iniquities ofאֲבֹתָםa/vo/TAMtheir fathersאִתָּםit/TAMwith themיִמָּקּוּ׃yim/MAK/kushall they pine away

    And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.

40. 40

    וְהִתְוַדּוּve/hit/vad/DUif they confessאֶת־עֲוֺנָםet-a/vo/NAMtheir iniquityוְאֶת־עֲוֺןve/ET-a/VONand the iniquity ofאֲבֹתָםa/vo/TAMtheir fathersבְּמַעֲלָםbe/ma/a/LAMwith their trespassאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichמָעֲלוּ־בִיma/a/LU-vithey committed against meוְאַףve/AFand alsoאֲשֶׁר־הָלְכוּa/SHER-ha/le/KHUthat they have walkedעִמִּיim/MIwith meבְּקֶרִי׃be/KE/ricontrary

    If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;

41. 41

    אַף־אֲנִיaf-a/NIand that I alsoאֵלֵךְe/LEKHhave walkedעִמָּםim/MAMwith themבְּקֶרִיbe/KE/ricontraryוְהֵבֵאתִיve/he/ve/TIand have broughtאֹתָםo/TAMthemבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsinto the land ofאֹיְבֵיהֶםoy/ve/HEMtheir enemiesאוֹ־אָזo-azif thenיִכָּנַעyik/ka/NAbe humbledלְבָבָםle/va/VAMtheir heartsהֶעָרֵלhe/a/RELuncircumcisedוְאָזve/AZand thenיִרְצוּyir/TSUthey acceptאֶת־עֲוֺנָם׃et-a/vo/NAMtheir iniquity

    And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:

42. 42

    וְזָכַרְתִּיve/za/khar/TIthen I will rememberאֶת־בְּרִיתִיet-be/ri/TImy covenantיַעֲקוֹבYa/a/KOVJacobוְאַףve/AFand alsoאֶת־בְּרִיתִיet-be/ri/TImy covenantיִצְחָקYits/CHAKIsaacוְאַףve/AFand alsoאֶת־בְּרִיתִיet-be/ri/TImy covenantאַבְרָהָםAv/ra/HAMAbrahamאֶזְכֹּרez/KORI will rememberוְהָאָרֶץve/ha/A/retsand the landאֶזְכֹּר׃ez/KORI will remember

    Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.

43. 43

    וְהָאָרֶץve/ha/A/retsfor the landתֵּעָזֵבte/a/ZEVshall be leftמֵהֶםme/HEMof themוְתִרֶץve/TI/retsand shall enjoyאֶת־שַׁבְּתֹתֶיהָet-shab/be/to/TE/haits sabbathsבׇּהְשַׁמָּהֿboh/sham/MAwhile it lies desolateמֵהֶםme/HEMof themוְהֵםve/HEMand theyיִרְצוּyir/TSUthey shall acceptאֶת־עֲוֺנָםet-a/vo/NAMtheir iniquityיַעַןYA/anbecauseוּבְיַעַןu/ve/YA/aneven becauseבְּמִשְׁפָּטַיbe/mish/pa/TAYmy judgmentsמָאָסוּma/A/suthey despisedוְאֶת־חֻקֹּתַיve/ET-chuk/ko/TAYand my statutesגָּעֲלָהga/a/LAabhorredנַפְשָׁם׃naf/SHAMtheir soul

    The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.

44. 44

    וְאַף־גַּם־זֹאתve/AF-gam-zotand yet for all thatבִּהְיוֹתָםbih/yo/TAMwhen they areבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofאֹיְבֵיהֶםoy/ve/HEMtheir enemiesלֹא־מְאַסְתִּיםlo-me/as/TIMI will not cast them awayוְלֹא־גְעַלְתִּיםve/LO-ge/al/TIMnor will I abhor themלְכַלֹּתָםle/khal/lo/TAMto destroy them utterlyלְהָפֵרle/ha/FERand to breakבְּרִיתִיbe/ri/TImy covenantאִתָּםit/TAMwith themכִּיkiforאֲנִיa/NII amיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵיהֶם׃e/lo/he/HEMtheir God

    And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.

45. 45

    וְזָכַרְתִּיve/za/khar/TIbut I will rememberלָהֶםla/HEMfor their sakesבְּרִיתbe/RITthe covenant ofרִאשֹׁנִיםri/sho/NIMthe forefathersאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomהוֹצֵאתִי־אֹתָםho/TSE/ti-o/TAMI brought outמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsout of the land ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptלְעֵינֵיle/e/NEin the sight ofהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMthe nationsלִהְיוֹתlih/YOTto beלָהֶםla/HEMfor their sakesלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMGodאֲנִיa/NII amיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.

46. 46

    אֵלֶּהEL/letheseהַחֻקִּיםha/chuk/KIMthe statutesוְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִיםve/ham/mish/pa/TIMand the judgmentsוְהַתּוֹרֹתve/hat/to/ROTand the lawsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנָתַןna/TANmadeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבֵּינוֹbe/NObetween Himוּבֵיןu/VENand betweenבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelבְּהַרbe/HARin MountסִינַיSi/NAYSinaiבְּיַד־מֹשֶׁה׃be/YAD-mo/SHEby the hand of Moses

    These are the statutes and judgments and laws, which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.
