    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesלֵּאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

    צַוtsavcommandאֶת־בְּנֵיet-be/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוְיִקְחוּve/yik/CHUthat they bringאֵלֶיךָe/LE/khato youשֶׁמֶןSHE/menoil ofזַיִתZA/yitoliveזָךְzakhpureכָּתִיתka/TITbeatenלַמָּאוֹרlam/ma/ORfor the lightלְהַעֲלֹתle/ha/a/LOTto cause to burnנֵרnera lampתָּמִיד׃ta/MIDcontinually

    Command the children of Israel, that they bring unto thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamps to burn continually.

    מִחוּץmi/CHUTSoutsideלְפָרֹכֶתle/fa/RO/khetthe veil ofהָעֵדֻתha/e/DUTthe testimonyבְּאֹהֶלbe/O/helin the tent ofמוֹעֵדmo/EDmeetingיַעֲרֹךְya/a/ROKHshall set in orderאֹתוֹo/TOitאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONAaronמֵעֶרֶבme/E/revfrom eveningעַד־בֹּקֶרad-BO/keruntil morningלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDתָּמִידta/MIDcontinuallyחֻקַּתchuk/KATa statuteעוֹלָםo/LAMfor everלְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם׃le/do/ro/te/KHEMfor your generations

    Without the vail of the testimony, in the tabernacle of the congregation, shall Aaron order it from the evening unto the morning before the LORD continually: it shall be a statute for ever in your generations.

    עַלaluponהַמְּנֹרָהham/me/no/RAthe lampstandהַטְּהֹרָהhat/te/ho/RApureיַעֲרֹךְya/a/ROKHshall set in orderאֶת־הַנֵּרוֹתet-han/ne/ROTthe lampsלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDתָּמִיד׃ta/MIDcontinually

    He shall order the lamps upon the pure candlestick before the LORD continually.

    וְלָקַחְתָּve/la/kach/TAand you shall takeסֹלֶתSO/letfine flourוְאָפִיתָve/a/fi/TAand bakeאֹתָהּo/TAitשְׁתֵּים־עֶשְׂרֵהshtem-es/REtwelveחַלּוֹתchal/LOTcakesשְׁנֵיshe/NEtwoעֶשְׂרֹנִיםes/ro/NIMtenthsיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall be inהַחַלָּהha/chal/LAcakeהָאֶחָת׃ha/e/CHATeach

    And thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof: two tenth deals shall be in one cake.

    וְשַׂמְתָּve/sam/TAand you shall setאוֹתָםo/TAMthemשְׁתַּיִםSHTA/yimin twoמַעֲרָכוֹתma/a/ra/KHOTrowsשֵׁשׁsheshsixהַמַּעֲרָכֶתham/ma/a/RA/khetin a rowעַלaluponהַשֻּׁלְחָןhash/shul/CHANthe tableהַטָּהֹרhat/ta/HORpureלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    And thou shalt set them in two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table before the LORD.

    וְנָתַתָּve/na/tat/TAand you shall putעַל־הַמַּעֲרֶכֶתal-ham/ma/a/RE/kheton each rowלְבֹנָהle/vo/NAfrankincenseזַכָּהzak/KApureוְהָיְתָהve/ha/ye/TAthat it may beלַלֶּחֶםlal/LE/chemon the breadלְאַזְכָּרָהle/az/ka/RAfor a memorial portionאִשֶּׁהish/SHEan offering by fireלַיהֹוָה׃la-Adonaito the LORD

    And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be on the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

    בְּיוֹםbe/YOMon the day ofהַשַּׁבָּתhash/shab/BATthe sabbathבְּיוֹםbe/YOMon the day ofהַשַּׁבָּתhash/shab/BATthe sabbathיַעַרְכֶנּוּya/ar/KHEN/nuhe shall set it in orderלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDתָּמִידta/MIDcontinuallyמֵאֵתme/ETfromבְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלbe/NE-yis/ra/ELthe children of Israelבְּרִיתbe/RITa covenantעוֹלָם׃o/LAMeverlasting

    Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually, being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.

    וְהָיְתָהve/ha/ye/TAand it shall beלְאַהֲרֹןLe/a/ha/RONAaron'sוּלְבָנָיוu/le/va/NAYVand his sons'וַאֲכָלֻהוּva/a/kha/LU/huand they shall eat itבְּמָקוֹםbe/ma/KOMin a placeקָדֹשׁka/DOSHholyכִּיkiforקֹדֶשׁKO/deshholy ofקׇדָשִׁיםko/da/SHIMholiesהוּאhuit isלוֹlohisמֵאִשֵּׁיme/ish/SHEof the offerings by fire ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDחׇק־עוֹלָם׃chok-o/LAMa statute for ever

    And it shall be Aaron's and his sons'; and they shall eat it in the holy place: for it is most holy unto him of the offerings of the LORD made by fire by a perpetual statute.

    וַיֵּצֵאvay/ye/TSEand went outבֶּן־אִשָּׁהben-ish/SHAthe son of a womanיִשְׂרְאֵלִיתYis/re/e/LITan Israeliteוְהוּאve/HUwho wasבֶּן־אִישׁben-ishthe son of a manמִצְרִיMits/RIan Egyptianבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHamongבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוַיִּנָּצוּvay/yin/na/TSUand strove togetherבַּמַּחֲנֶהbam/ma/cha/NEin the campבֶּןbenthe son ofהַיִּשְׂרְאֵלִיתhay/Yis/re/e/LITthe Israelite womanוְאִישׁve/ISHand a manהַיִּשְׂרְאֵלִי׃hay/Yis/re/e/LIof Israel

    And the son of an Israelitish woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel: and this son of the Israelitish woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp;

    וַיִּקֹּבvay/yik/KOVand blasphemedבֶּן־הָאִשָּׁהben-ha/ish/SHAthe son of the womanהַיִּשְׂרְאֵלִיתHay/yis/re/e/LITIsraeliteאֶת־הַשֵּׁםet-Hash/SHEMthe Nameוַיְקַלֵּלvay/kal/LELand cursedוַיָּבִיאוּvay/ya/VI/uand broughtאֹתוֹo/TOhimאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesוְשֵׁםve/SHEMand the name ofאִמּוֹim/MOhis motherשְׁלֹמִיתShe/lo/MITShelomithבַּת־דִּבְרִיbat-Div/RIdaughter of Dibriלְמַטֵּה־דָן׃le/Mat/TE-danof the tribe of Dan

    And the Israelitish woman's son blasphemed the name of the LORD, and cursed. And they brought him unto Moses: (and his mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan:)

    וַיַּנִּיחֻהוּvay/yan/ni/CHU/huand they put himבַּמִּשְׁמָרbam/mish/MARin custodyלִפְרֹשׁlif/ROSHthat it might be declaredלָהֶםla/HEMto themעַל־פִּיal-piby the mouth ofיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    And they put him in ward, that the mind of the LORD might be shewed them.

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesלֵּאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

  14. 14

    הוֹצֵאho/TSEbring forthאֶת־הַמְקַלֵּלet-ham/kal/LELhim who cursedאֶל־מִחוּץel-mi/CHUTSoutsideלַמַּחֲנֶהlam/ma/cha/NEthe campוְסָמְכוּve/sa/me/KHUand let layכׇל־הַשֹּׁמְעִיםkhol-hash/shom/IMall who heardאֶת־יְדֵיהֶםet-ye/de/HEMtheir handsעַל־רֹאשׁוֹal-ro/SHOupon his headוְרָגְמוּve/ra/ge/MUand let stoneאֹתוֹo/TOhimכׇּל־הָעֵדָה׃kol-ha/e/DAall the congregation

    Bring forth him that hath cursed without the camp; and let all that heard him lay their hands upon his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

  15. 15

    וְאֶל־בְּנֵיve/EL-be/NEand to the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelתְּדַבֵּרte/dab/BERyou shall speakלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingאִישׁishanyאִישׁishmanכִּי־יְקַלֵּלki-ye/kal/LELwho cursesאֱלֹהָיוe/lo/HAYVhis Godוְנָשָׂאve/na/SAshall bearחֶטְאוֹ׃chet/Ohis sin

    And thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Whosoever curseth his God shall bear his sin.

  16. 16

    וְנֹקֵבve/no/KEVand he who blasphemesשֵׁם־יְהֹוָהshem-Adonaithe name of the LORDמוֹתmotdieיוּמָתyu/MAThe shall be put to deathרָגוֹםra/GOMstoneיִרְגְּמוּ־בוֹyir/ge/MU-voshall stone himכׇּל־הָעֵדָהkol-ha/e/DAall the congregationכַּגֵּרkag/GERas well the strangerכָּאֶזְרָחka/ez/RACHas the nativeבְּנׇקְבוֹ־שֵׁםbe/Nok/VO-shemwhen he blasphemes the Nameיוּמָת׃yu/MAThe shall be put to death

    And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him: as well the stranger, as he that is born in the land, when he blasphemeth the name of the LORD, shall be put to death.

  17. 17

    וְאִישׁve/ISHand a manכִּיkiwhoיַכֶּהyak/KEstrikesכׇּל־נֶפֶשׁkol-NE/feshany soul ofאָדָםa/DAMmanמוֹתmotdieיוּמָת׃yu/MAThe shall be put to death

    And he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death.

  18. 18

    וּמַכֵּהu/mak/KEand he who strikesנֶפֶשׁ־בְּהֵמָהNE/fesh-be/he/MAthe life of a beastיְשַׁלְּמֶנָּהye/shal/le/MEN/nashall make it goodנֶפֶשׁNE/feshlifeתַּחַתTA/chatforנָפֶשׁ׃NA/feshlife

    And he that killeth a beast shall make it good; beast for beast.

  19. 19

    וְאִישׁve/ISHand a manכִּי־יִתֵּןki-yit/TENif causesמוּםmuma blemishבַּעֲמִיתוֹba/a/mi/TOin his neighborכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasעָשָׂהa/SAhe has doneכֵּןkensoיֵעָשֶׂהye/a/SEshall it be doneלּוֹ׃loto him

    And if a man cause a blemish in his neighbour; as he hath done, so shall it be done to him;

  20. 20

    שֶׁבֶרSHE/verfractureתַּחַתTA/chatforשֶׁבֶרSHE/verfractureעַיִןA/yineyeתַּחַתTA/chatforעַיִןA/yineyeשֵׁןshentoothתַּחַתTA/chatforשֵׁןshentoothכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasיִתֵּןyit/TENhe has causedמוּםmuma blemishבָּאָדָםba/a/DAMin a manכֵּןkensoיִנָּתֶןyin/NA/tenshall it be renderedבּוֹ׃boto him

    Breach for breach, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as he hath caused a blemish in a man, so shall it be done to him again.

  21. 21

    וּמַכֵּהu/mak/KEand he who strikesבְהֵמָהve/he/MAa beastיְשַׁלְּמֶנָּהye/shal/le/MEN/nashall make it goodוּמַכֵּהu/mak/KEand he who strikesאָדָםa/DAMa manיוּמָת׃yu/MAThe shall be put to death

    And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death.

  22. 22

    מִשְׁפַּטmish/PATlawאֶחָדe/CHADoneיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beלָכֶםla/KHEMto youכַּגֵּרkag/GERas for the strangerכָּאֶזְרָחka/ez/RACHso for the nativeיִהְיֶהyih/YEit shall beכִּיkiforאֲנִיa/NII amיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵיכֶם׃e/lo/he/KHEMyour God

    Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the LORD your God.

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאֶל־בְּנֵיel-be/NEto the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוַיּוֹצִיאוּvay/yo/TSI/uand they brought forthאֶת־הַמְקַלֵּלet-ham/kal/LELhim who cursedאֶל־מִחוּץel-mi/CHUTSoutsideלַמַּחֲנֶהlam/ma/cha/NEthe campוַיִּרְגְּמוּvay/yir/ge/MUand they stonedאֹתוֹo/TOhimאָבֶןA/venwith stonesוּבְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלu/ve/NE-yis/ra/ELand the children of Israelעָשׂוּa/SUdidכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasצִוָּהtsiv/VAcommandedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־מֹשֶׁה׃et-Mo/SHEMoses

    And Moses spake to the children of Israel, that they should bring forth him that had cursed out of the camp, and stone him with stones. And the children of Israel did as the LORD commanded Moses.
