    וַיְדַבֵּרand spokeיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהto Mosesלֵּאמֹר׃saying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

    דַּבֵּרspeakאֶל־אַהֲרֹןto Aaronוְאֶל־בָּנָיוand his sonsוְיִנָּזְרוּso they may separate themselvesמִקׇּדְשֵׁיfrom the holy things ofבְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלsons of Israelוְלֹאand notיְחַלְּלוּthey will profaneאֶת־שֵׁםname ofקׇדְשִׁיmy holinessאֲשֶׁרwhichהֵםtheyמַקְדִּשִׁיםare sanctifyingלִיto meאֲנִיIיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

    Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they profane not my holy name in those things which they hallow unto me: I am the LORD.

    אֱמֹרsayאֲלֵהֶםunto themלְדֹרֹתֵיכֶםfor your generationsכׇּל־אִישׁevery manאֲשֶׁר־יִקְרַבwhich will draw nearמִכׇּל־זַרְעֲכֶםfrom all your seedאֶל־הַקֳּדָשִׁיםto the holy thingsאֲשֶׁרwhichיַקְדִּישׁוּthey shall sanctifyבְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלsons of Israelלַיהֹוָהto the LORDוְטֻמְאָתוֹand his uncleannessעָלָיוupon himוְנִכְרְתָהand shall be cut offהַנֶּפֶשׁthe soulהַהִואthatמִלְּפָנַיfrom before meאֲנִיIיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

    Say unto them, Whosoever he be of all your seed among your generations, that goeth unto the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence: I am the LORD.

    אִישׁanyאִישׁmanמִזֶּרַעfrom the seed ofאַהֲרֹןAaronוְהוּאand heצָרוּעַa leperאוֹorזָבdischargingבַּקֳּדָשִׁיםin the holy thingsלֹאnotיֹאכַלhe shall eatעַדuntilאֲשֶׁרwhichיִטְהָרhe is cleanוְהַנֹּגֵעַand the one who touchesבְּכׇל־טְמֵא־נֶפֶשׁin anything unclean by a corpseאוֹorאִישׁa manאֲשֶׁר־תֵּצֵאwhich shall go forthמִמֶּנּוּfrom himשִׁכְבַת־זָרַע׃an emission of semen

    What man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him;

    אוֹ־אִישׁor a manאֲשֶׁרwhichיִגַּעhe will touchבְּכׇל־שֶׁרֶץin any swarming thingאֲשֶׁרwhichיִטְמָא־לוֹhe becomes unclean by itאוֹorבְאָדָםin a manאֲשֶׁרwhichיִטְמָא־לוֹhe becomes unclean by itלְכֹלfor allטֻמְאָתוֹ׃his uncleanness

    Or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever uncleanness he hath;

    נֶפֶשׁsoulאֲשֶׁרwhichתִּגַּע־בּוֹit touches itוְטָמְאָהand shall be uncleanעַד־הָעָרֶבuntil the eveningוְלֹאand notיֹאכַלhe shall eatמִן־הַקֳּדָשִׁיםfrom the holy thingsכִּיbutאִם־רָחַץunless he has washedבְּשָׂרוֹhis fleshבַּמָּיִם׃in the water

    The soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he wash his flesh with water.

    וּבָאand comeהַשֶּׁמֶשׁthe sunוְטָהֵרand he shall be cleanוְאַחַרand thenיֹאכַלhe shall eatמִן־הַקֳּדָשִׁיםfrom the holy thingsכִּיbecauseלַחְמוֹhis breadהוּא׃it

    And when the sun is down, he shall be clean, and shall afterward eat of the holy things; because it is his food.

    נְבֵלָהa carcassוּטְרֵפָהand a torn animalלֹאnotיֹאכַלhe shall eatלְטׇמְאָה־בָהּto become unclean by itאֲנִיIיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

    That which dieth of itself, or is torn with beasts, he shall not eat to defile himself therewith: I am the LORD.

    וְשָׁמְרוּand they will keepאֶת־מִשְׁמַרְתִּיmy dutyוְלֹא־יִשְׂאוּand not they shall bearעָלָיוupon himחֵטְאsinוּמֵתוּand they will dieבוֹfor itכִּיforיְחַלְּלֻהוּthey will profane itאֲנִיIיְהֹוָהthe LORDמְקַדְּשָׁם׃who sanctifies them

    They shall therefore keep mine ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD do sanctify them.

  10. 10

    וְכׇל־זָרand every outsiderלֹא־יֹאכַלnot he shall eatקֹדֶשׁholyתּוֹשַׁבa resident alien ofכֹּהֵןa priestוְשָׂכִירand a hired laborerלֹא־יֹאכַלnot he shall eatקֹדֶשׁ׃holy

    There shall no stranger eat of the holy thing: a sojourner of the priest, or an hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing.

    וְכֹהֵןand a priestכִּי־יִקְנֶהif he will acquireנֶפֶשׁsoulקִנְיַןthe acquisition ofכַּסְפּוֹhis silverהוּאitיֹאכַלhe shall eatבּוֹin itוִילִידand the one born ofבֵּיתוֹhis houseהֵםtheyיֹאכְלוּshall eatבְלַחְמוֹ׃in his food

    But if the priest buy any soul with his money, he shall eat of it, and he that is born in his house: they shall eat of his meat.

    וּבַת־כֹּהֵןand the daughter of a priestכִּיifתִהְיֶהbeלְאִישׁfor a manזָרan outsiderהִואsheבִּתְרוּמַתin the offering ofהַקֳּדָשִׁיםthe holy thingsלֹאnotתֹאכֵל׃she will eat

    If the priest's daughter also be married unto a stranger, she may not eat of an offering of the holy things.

  13. 13

    וּבַת־כֹּהֵןand the daughter of a priestכִּיifתִהְיֶהbeאַלְמָנָהa widowוּגְרוּשָׁהand a divorced womanוְזֶרַעand seedאֵיןthere is noלָהּto herוְשָׁבָהand she will returnאֶל־בֵּיתto the house ofאָבִיהָher fatherכִּנְעוּרֶיהָlike her youthמִלֶּחֶםof breadאָבִיהָher fatherתֹּאכֵלshe shall eatוְכׇל־זָרand every outsiderלֹא־יֹאכַלnot he shall eatבּוֹ׃in it

    But if the priest's daughter be a widow, or divorced, and have no child, and is returned unto her father's house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father's meat: but there shall no stranger eat thereof.

    וְאִישׁand a manכִּי־יֹאכַלif he shall eatקֹדֶשׁholyבִּשְׁגָגָהby inadvertenceוְיָסַףand he will addחֲמִשִׁיתוֹits fifthעָלָיוupon himוְנָתַןand he shall giveלַכֹּהֵןto the priestאֶת־הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃the holy thing

    And if a man eat of the holy thing unwittingly, then he shall put the fifth part thereof unto it, and shall give it unto the priest with the holy thing.

  15. 15

    וְלֹאand notיְחַלְּלוּthey will profaneאֶת־קׇדְשֵׁיthe holy things ofבְּנֵיthe sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelאֵת־אֲשֶׁר־יָרִימוּthat which shall lift upלַיהֹוָה׃to the LORD

    And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer unto the LORD;

  16. 16

    וְהִשִּׂיאוּand they will cause to bearאוֹתָםthemעֲוֺןthe iniquity ofאַשְׁמָהguiltבְּאׇכְלָםwhen they eatאֶת־קׇדְשֵׁיהֶםtheir holy thingsכִּיforאֲנִיIיְהֹוָהthe LORDמְקַדְּשָׁם׃who sanctifies them

    Or suffer them to bear the iniquity of trespass, when they eat their holy things: for I the LORD do sanctify them.

  17. 17

    וַיְדַבֵּרand spokeיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהto Mosesלֵּאמֹר׃saying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

  18. 18

    דַּבֵּרspeakאֶל־אַהֲרֹןto Aaronוְאֶל־בָּנָיוand his sonsוְאֶלandכׇּל־בְּנֵיall sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelוְאָמַרְתָּand sayאֲלֵהֶםunto themאִישׁanyאִישׁmanמִבֵּיתfrom the house ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelוּמִן־הַגֵּרand from the sojournerבְּיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelאֲשֶׁרwhichיַקְרִיבhe shall offerקׇרְבָּנוֹhis offeringלְכׇל־נִדְרֵיהֶםto all their vowsוּלְכׇל־נִדְבוֹתָםand to all their freewill offeringsאֲשֶׁר־יַקְרִיבוּwhich they offerלַיהֹוָהto the LORDלְעֹלָה׃to a burnt offering

    Speak unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them, Whatsoever he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, that will offer his oblation for all his vows, and for all his freewill offerings, which they will offer unto the LORD for a burnt offering;

    לִרְצֹנְכֶםfor your acceptanceתָּמִיםwithout blemishזָכָרmaleבַּבָּקָרon the cattleבַּכְּשָׂבִיםamong the lambsוּבָעִזִּים׃and among the goats

    Ye shall offer at your own will a male without blemish, of the beeves, of the sheep, or of the goats.

  20. 20

    כֹּלallאֲשֶׁר־בּוֹin whomמוּםblemishלֹאnotתַקְרִיבוּyou shall offerכִּי־לֹאthat notלְרָצוֹןfor acceptanceיִהְיֶהshall beלָכֶם׃to you

    But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you.

  21. 21

    וְאִישׁand a manכִּי־יַקְרִיבif he offersזֶבַח־שְׁלָמִיםsacrifice peace offeringsלַיהֹוָהto the LORDלְפַלֵּא־נֶדֶרto fulfill a vowאוֹorלִנְדָבָהto a freewill offeringבַּבָּקָרon the cattleאוֹorבַצֹּאןin the flockתָּמִיםwithout blemishיִהְיֶהshall beלְרָצוֹןfor acceptanceכׇּל־מוּםall imperfectionלֹאnotיִהְיֶה־בּוֹ׃shall be in it

    And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD to accomplish his vow, or a freewill offering in beeves or sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein.

  22. 22

    עַוֶּרֶתblindnessאוֹorשָׁבוּרbrokenאוֹ־חָרוּץor maimedאוֹ־יַבֶּלֶתor a wartאוֹorגָרָבeczemaאוֹorיַלֶּפֶתscabsלֹא־תַקְרִיבוּnot you shall offerאֵלֶּהtheseלַיהֹוָהto the LORDוְאִשֶּׁהand a fire offeringלֹא־תִתְּנוּnot you shall putמֵהֶםof themעַל־הַמִּזְבֵּחַupon the altarלַיהֹוָה׃to the LORD

    Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed, ye shall not offer these unto the LORD, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar unto the LORD.

  23. 23

    וְשׁוֹרand an oxוָשֶׂהand a sheepשָׂרוּעַhaving something enlargedוְקָלוּטand having something stuntedנְדָבָהa freewill offeringתַּעֲשֶׂהyou makeאֹתוֹhimוּלְנֵדֶרand for a vowלֹאnotיֵרָצֶה׃he will be accepted

    Either a bullock or a lamb that hath any thing superfluous or lacking in his parts, that mayest thou offer for a freewill offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted.

  24. 24

    וּמָעוּךְand one which is squashedוְכָתוּתand one which is crushedוְנָתוּקand one which is tornוְכָרוּתand one which is cutלֹאnotתַקְרִיבוּyou shall offerלַיהֹוָהto the LORDוּבְאַרְצְכֶםand in your landלֹאnotתַעֲשׂוּ׃you shall do

    Ye shall not offer unto the LORD that which is bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut; neither shall ye make any offering thereof in your land.

  25. 25

    וּמִיַּדand from the hand ofבֶּן־נֵכָרa foreignerלֹאnotתַקְרִיבוּyou shall offerאֶת־לֶחֶםbreadאֱלֹהֵיכֶםyour Godמִכׇּל־אֵלֶּהfrom all theseכִּיbecauseמׇשְׁחָתָםtheir corruptionבָּהֶםin themמוּםblemishבָּםin themלֹאnotיֵרָצוּthey will be acceptedלָכֶם׃to you

    Neither from a stranger's hand shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, and blemishes be in them: they shall not be accepted for you.

  26. 26

    וַיְדַבֵּרand spokeיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהto Mosesלֵּאמֹר׃saying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

  27. 27

    שׁוֹרan oxאוֹ־כֶשֶׂבor a lambאוֹ־עֵזor a goatכִּיwhenיִוָּלֵדhe shall be bornוְהָיָהand beשִׁבְעַתsevenיָמִיםdaysתַּחַתunderאִמּוֹhis motherוּמִיּוֹםand from the dayהַשְּׁמִינִיthe eighthוָהָלְאָהhenceforthיֵרָצֶהhe will be acceptedלְקׇרְבַּןfor an offering ofאִשֶּׁהa fire offeringלַיהֹוָה׃to the LORD

    When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

  28. 28

    וְשׁוֹרand an oxאוֹ־שֶׂהor a sheepאֹתוֹhimוְאֶת־בְּנוֹand its youngלֹאnotתִשְׁחֲטוּyou shall slaughterבְּיוֹםin the day ofאֶחָד׃one

    And whether it be cow or ewe, ye shall not kill it and her young both in one day.

  29. 29

    וְכִי־תִזְבְּחוּand when you sacrificeזֶבַח־תּוֹדָהsacrifice thanksgivingלַיהֹוָהto the LORDלִרְצֹנְכֶםfor your acceptanceתִּזְבָּחוּ׃you shall sacrifice it

    And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the LORD, offer it at your own will.

  30. 30

    בַּיּוֹםin the dayהַהוּאthatיֵאָכֵלis eatenלֹא־תוֹתִירוּnot you will leave overמִמֶּנּוּfrom itעַד־בֹּקֶרuntil morningאֲנִיIיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

    On the same day it shall be eaten up; ye shall leave none of it until the morrow: I am the LORD.

  31. 31

    וּשְׁמַרְתֶּםand you shall keepמִצְוֺתַיmy commandmentsוַעֲשִׂיתֶםand you shall doאֹתָםthemאֲנִיIיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

    Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD.

  32. 32

    וְלֹאand notתְחַלְּלוּyou will profaneאֶת־שֵׁםname ofקׇדְשִׁיmy holinessוְנִקְדַּשְׁתִּיand I will show myself holyבְּתוֹךְamongבְּנֵיthe sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵלIsraelאֲנִיIיְהֹוָהthe LORDמְקַדִּשְׁכֶם׃who sanctifies you

    Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the LORD which hallow you,

  33. 33

    הַמּוֹצִיאthe one bringing forthאֶתְכֶםyouמֵאֶרֶץfrom the land ofמִצְרַיִםEgyptלִהְיוֹתto beלָכֶםto youלֵאלֹהִיםGodאֲנִיIיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

    That brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD.
