Leviticus 22 וַיִּקְרָא פרק כ״ב

   And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

   דַּבֵּרdab/BERspeakאֶל־אַהֲרֹןel-A/ha/RONto Aaronוְאֶל־בָּנָיוve/EL-ba/NAYVand his sonsוְיִנָּזְרוּve/yin/na/ze/RUthat they separate themselvesמִקׇּדְשֵׁיmik/kod/SHEfrom the holy things ofבְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלve/NE-yis/ra/ELthe children of Israelוְלֹאve/LOand that notיְחַלְּלוּye/chal/le/LUthey profaneאֶת־שֵׁםet-shemthe name ofקׇדְשִׁיkod/SHImy holinessאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהֵםhemtheyמַקְדִּשִׁיםmak/di/SHIMhallowלִיlito meאֲנִיa/NII amיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

   Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they profane not my holy name in those things which they hallow unto me: I am the LORD.

   Say unto them, Whosoever he be of all your seed among your generations, that goeth unto the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence: I am the LORD.

   אִישׁishanyאִישׁishmanמִזֶּרַעmiz/ZE/raof the offspring ofאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONAaronוְהוּאve/HUwho isצָרוּעַtsa/RU/aa leperאוֹoorזָבzavhas a dischargeבַּקֳּדָשִׁיםbak/ko/da/SHIMof the holy thingsלֹאlonotיֹאכַלyo/KHALshall he eatעַדaduntilאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיִטְהָרyit/HARhe is cleanוְהַנֹּגֵעַve/han/no/GE/aand whoever touchesבְּכׇל־טְמֵא־נֶפֶשׁbe/KHOL-te/ME-NE/feshanything unclean by the deadאוֹoorאִישׁisha manאֲשֶׁר־תֵּצֵאa/SHER-te/TSEthat goes outמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nufrom himשִׁכְבַת־זָרַע׃shikh/VAT-ZA/raan emission of semen

   What man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him;

   אוֹ־אִישׁo-ishor a manאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיִגַּעyig/GAtouchesבְּכׇל־שֶׁרֶץbe/KHOL-SHE/retsany swarming thingאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיִטְמָא־לוֹyit/MA-lohe becomes unclean by itאוֹoorבְאָדָםve/a/DAMor a manאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיִטְמָא־לוֹyit/MA-lohe becomes unclean by itלְכֹלle/KHOLwhateverטֻמְאָתוֹ׃tum/a/TOhis uncleanness

   Or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever uncleanness he hath;

   נֶפֶשׁNE/feshthe soulאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatתִּגַּע־בּוֹtig/GA-botouches any suchוְטָמְאָהve/ta/me/Ashall be uncleanעַד־הָעָרֶבad-ha/A/revuntil the eveningוְלֹאve/LOand shall notיֹאכַלyo/KHALeatמִן־הַקֳּדָשִׁיםmin-hak/ko/da/SHIMof the holy thingsכִּיkibutאִם־רָחַץim-ra/CHATSunless he has bathedבְּשָׂרוֹbe/sa/ROhis fleshבַּמָּיִם׃bam/MA/yimin water

   The soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he wash his flesh with water.

   וּבָאu/VAand when goes downהַשֶּׁמֶשׁhash/SHE/meshthe sunוְטָהֵרve/ta/HERhe shall be cleanוְאַחַרve/a/CHARand afterwardיֹאכַלyo/KHALhe shall eatמִן־הַקֳּדָשִׁיםmin-hak/ko/da/SHIMof the holy thingsכִּיkiforלַחְמוֹlach/MOhis foodהוּא׃huit is

   And when the sun is down, he shall be clean, and shall afterward eat of the holy things; because it is his food.

8. 8

   נְבֵלָהne/ve/LAwhat dies of itselfוּטְרֵפָהu/te/re/FAor is tornלֹאlonotיֹאכַלyo/KHALhe shall eatלְטׇמְאָה־בָהּle/tom/A-vato defile himself with itאֲנִיa/NII amיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

   That which dieth of itself, or is torn with beasts, he shall not eat to defile himself therewith: I am the LORD.

9. 9

   וְשָׁמְרוּve/sha/me/RUthey shall therefore keepאֶת־מִשְׁמַרְתִּיet-mish/mar/TImy chargeוְלֹא־יִשְׂאוּve/LO-yis/Ulest they bearעָלָיוa/LAYVfor itחֵטְאchetsinוּמֵתוּu/ME/tuand dieבוֹvothereforeכִּיkiifיְחַלְּלֻהוּye/chal/le/LU/huthey profane itאֲנִיa/NII amיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמְקַדְּשָׁם׃me/kad/de/SHAMwho sanctifies them

   They shall therefore keep mine ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD do sanctify them.

10. 10

    וְכׇל־זָרve/KHOL-zarand any outsiderלֹא־יֹאכַלlo-YO/khalshall not eatקֹדֶשׁKO/deshof the holy thingתּוֹשַׁבto/SHAVa sojourner ofכֹּהֵןko/HENa priestוְשָׂכִירve/sa/KHIRor a hired servantלֹא־יֹאכַלlo-YO/khalshall not eatקֹדֶשׁ׃KO/deshof the holy thing

    There shall no stranger eat of the holy thing: a sojourner of the priest, or an hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing.

11. 11

    וְכֹהֵןve/kho/HENand a priestכִּי־יִקְנֶהki-yik/NEif buysנֶפֶשׁNE/fesha soulקִנְיַןkin/YANthe purchase ofכַּסְפּוֹkas/POhis moneyהוּאhuheיֹאכַלyo/KHALhe shall eatבּוֹboof itוִילִידvi/LIDand he who is born inבֵּיתוֹbe/TOhis houseהֵםhemtheyיֹאכְלוּyo/khe/LUshall eatבְלַחְמוֹ׃ve/lach/MOof his food

    But if the priest buy any soul with his money, he shall eat of it, and he that is born in his house: they shall eat of his meat.

12. 12

    וּבַת־כֹּהֵןu/VAT-ko/HENand the daughter of a priestכִּיkiifתִהְיֶהtih/YEis marriedלְאִישׁle/ISHto a manזָרzaran outsiderהִואhivsheבִּתְרוּמַתbit/ru/MATof the heave offering ofהַקֳּדָשִׁיםhak/ko/da/SHIMthe holy thingsלֹאlonotתֹאכֵל׃to/KHELshe shall eat

    If the priest's daughter also be married unto a stranger, she may not eat of an offering of the holy things.

13. 13

    וּבַת־כֹּהֵןu/VAT-ko/HENand the daughter of a priestכִּיkiifתִהְיֶהtih/YEisאַלְמָנָהal/ma/NAa widowוּגְרוּשָׁהu/ge/ru/SHAor divorcedוְזֶרַעve/ZE/raand childאֵיןenthere is noלָהּlato herוְשָׁבָהve/sha/VAand has returnedאֶל־בֵּיתel-betto the house ofאָבִיהָa/VI/haher fatherכִּנְעוּרֶיהָkin/u/RE/haas in her youthמִלֶּחֶםmil/LE/chemof the food ofאָבִיהָa/VI/haher fatherתֹּאכֵלto/KHELshe shall eatוְכׇל־זָרve/KHOL-zarbut any outsiderלֹא־יֹאכַלlo-YO/khalshall not eatבּוֹ׃boof it

    But if the priest's daughter be a widow, or divorced, and have no child, and is returned unto her father's house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father's meat: but there shall no stranger eat thereof.

14. 14

    וְאִישׁve/ISHand a manכִּי־יֹאכַלki-yo/KHALif eatsקֹדֶשׁKO/deshof the holy thingבִּשְׁגָגָהbish/ga/GAby inadvertenceוְיָסַףve/ya/SAFthen he shall addחֲמִשִׁיתוֹcha/mi/shi/TOthe fifth part of itעָלָיוa/LAYVto itוְנָתַןve/na/TANand giveלַכֹּהֵןlak/ko/HENto the priestאֶת־הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃et-hak/KO/deshthe holy thing

    And if a man eat of the holy thing unwittingly, then he shall put the fifth part thereof unto it, and shall give it unto the priest with the holy thing.

15. 15

    וְלֹאve/LOand notיְחַלְּלוּye/chal/le/LUthey shall profaneאֶת־קׇדְשֵׁיet-kod/SHEthe holy things ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאֵת־אֲשֶׁר־יָרִימוּet-a/SHER-ya/RI/muwhich they offerלַיהֹוָה׃la-Adonaito the LORD

    And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer unto the LORD;

16. 16

    וְהִשִּׂיאוּve/his/SI/uor cause to bearאוֹתָםo/TAMthemעֲוֺןa/VONthe iniquity ofאַשְׁמָהash/MAguiltבְּאׇכְלָםbe/okh/LAMwhen they eatאֶת־קׇדְשֵׁיהֶםet-kod/she/HEMtheir holy thingsכִּיkiforאֲנִיa/NII amיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמְקַדְּשָׁם׃me/kad/de/SHAMwho sanctifies them

    Or suffer them to bear the iniquity of trespass, when they eat their holy things: for I the LORD do sanctify them.

17. 17

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesלֵּאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

18. 18

    דַּבֵּרdab/BERspeakאֶל־אַהֲרֹןel-A/ha/RONto Aaronוְאֶל־בָּנָיוve/EL-ba/NAYVand his sonsוְאֶלve/ELand toכׇּל־בְּנֵיkol-be/NEall the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand sayאֲלֵהֶםa/le/HEMto themאִישׁishanyאִישׁishmanמִבֵּיתmib/BETof the house ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוּמִן־הַגֵּרu/MIN-hag/GERor of the strangersבְּיִשְׂרָאֵלbe/Yis/ra/ELin Israelאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיַקְרִיבyak/RIVoffersקׇרְבָּנוֹkor/ba/NOhis offeringלְכׇל־נִדְרֵיהֶםle/KHOL-nid/re/HEMfor any of their vowsוּלְכׇל־נִדְבוֹתָםu/le/KHOL-nid/vo/TAMor any of their freewill offeringsאֲשֶׁר־יַקְרִיבוּa/SHER-yak/RI/vuwhich they offerלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDלְעֹלָה׃le/o/LAfor a burnt offering

    Speak unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them, Whatsoever he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, that will offer his oblation for all his vows, and for all his freewill offerings, which they will offer unto the LORD for a burnt offering;

19. 19

    לִרְצֹנְכֶםlir/tson/KHEMfor your acceptanceתָּמִיםta/MIMwithout blemishזָכָרza/KHARa maleבַּבָּקָרbab/ba/KARof the cattleבַּכְּשָׂבִיםbak/ke/sa/VIMof the sheepוּבָעִזִּים׃u/va/iz/ZIMor of the goats

    Ye shall offer at your own will a male without blemish, of the beeves, of the sheep, or of the goats.

20. 20

    כֹּלkolwhateverאֲשֶׁר־בּוֹa/SHER-bohasמוּםmuma blemishלֹאlonotתַקְרִיבוּtak/RI/vuyou shall offerכִּי־לֹאki-lofor notלְרָצוֹןle/ra/TSONacceptableיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall it beלָכֶם׃la/KHEMfor you

    But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you.

21. 21

    וְאִישׁve/ISHand a manכִּי־יַקְרִיבki-yak/RIVwhen offersזֶבַח־שְׁלָמִיםZE/vach-she/la/MIMa sacrifice of peace offeringsלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDלְפַלֵּא־נֶדֶרle/fal/LE-NE/derto fulfill a vowאוֹoorלִנְדָבָהlin/da/VAfor a freewill offeringבַּבָּקָרbab/ba/KARof the herdאוֹoorבַצֹּאןvats/TSONof the flockתָּמִיםta/MIMwithout blemishיִהְיֶהyih/YEit shall beלְרָצוֹןle/ra/TSONto be acceptedכׇּל־מוּםkol-mumany blemishלֹאlonotיִהְיֶה־בּוֹ׃yih/YE-boshall be in it

    And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD to accomplish his vow, or a freewill offering in beeves or sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein.

22. 22

    עַוֶּרֶתav/VE/retblindאוֹoorשָׁבוּרsha/VURbrokenאוֹ־חָרוּץo-cha/RUTSor maimedאוֹ־יַבֶּלֶתo-yab/BE/letor a wartאוֹoorגָרָבga/RAVeczemaאוֹoorיַלֶּפֶתyal/LE/fetscabsלֹא־תַקְרִיבוּlo-tak/RI/vuyou shall not offerאֵלֶּהEL/letheseלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDוְאִשֶּׁהve/ish/SHEnor an offering by fireלֹא־תִתְּנוּlo-tit/te/NUyou shall not makeמֵהֶםme/HEMof themעַל־הַמִּזְבֵּחַal-ham/miz/BE/achupon the altarלַיהֹוָה׃la-Adonaito the LORD

    Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed, ye shall not offer these unto the LORD, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar unto the LORD.

23. 23

    וְשׁוֹרve/SHORand an oxוָשֶׂהva/SEor a lambשָׂרוּעַsa/RU/awith a limb too longוְקָלוּטve/ka/LUTor too shortנְדָבָהne/da/VAfor a freewill offeringתַּעֲשֶׂהta/a/SEyou may offerאֹתוֹo/TOitוּלְנֵדֶרu/le/NE/derbut for a vowלֹאlonotיֵרָצֶה׃ye/ra/TSEit shall be accepted

    Either a bullock or a lamb that hath any thing superfluous or lacking in his parts, that mayest thou offer for a freewill offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted.

24. 24

    וּמָעוּךְu/ma/UKHand bruisedוְכָתוּתve/kha/TUTor crushedוְנָתוּקve/na/TUKor tornוְכָרוּתve/kha/RUTor cutלֹאlonotתַקְרִיבוּtak/RI/vuyou shall offerלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDוּבְאַרְצְכֶםu/ve/ar/tse/KHEMand in your landלֹאlonotתַעֲשׂוּ׃ta/a/SUyou shall do so

    Ye shall not offer unto the LORD that which is bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut; neither shall ye make any offering thereof in your land.

25. 25

    וּמִיַּדu/miy/YADnor from the hand ofבֶּן־נֵכָרben-ne/KHARa foreignerלֹאlonotתַקְרִיבוּtak/RI/vuyou shall offerאֶת־לֶחֶםet-LE/chemthe bread ofאֱלֹהֵיכֶםe/lo/he/KHEMyour Godמִכׇּל־אֵלֶּהmik/KOL-EL/leof any of theseכִּיkibecauseמׇשְׁחָתָםmosh/cha/TAMtheir corruptionבָּהֶםba/HEMis in themמוּםmuma blemishבָּםbamis in themלֹאlonotיֵרָצוּye/ra/TSUthey shall be acceptedלָכֶם׃la/KHEMfor you

    Neither from a stranger's hand shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, and blemishes be in them: they shall not be accepted for you.

26. 26

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesלֵּאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

27. 27

    שׁוֹרshoran oxאוֹ־כֶשֶׂבo-KHE/sevor a lambאוֹ־עֵזo-ezor a goatכִּיkiwhenיִוָּלֵדyiv/va/LEDit is bornוְהָיָהve/ha/YAthen it shall beשִׁבְעַתshiv/ATsevenיָמִיםya/MIMdaysתַּחַתTA/chatunderאִמּוֹim/MOits motherוּמִיּוֹםu/miy/YOMand from the dayהַשְּׁמִינִיhash/she/mi/NIthe eighthוָהָלְאָהva/HAL/aand onיֵרָצֶהye/ra/TSEit shall be acceptedלְקׇרְבַּןle/kor/BANfor an offering ofאִשֶּׁהish/SHEan offering by fireלַיהֹוָה׃la-Adonaito the LORD

    When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

28. 28

    וְשׁוֹרve/SHORand an oxאוֹ־שֶׂהo-seor a sheepאֹתוֹo/TOitוְאֶת־בְּנוֹve/ET-be/NOand its youngלֹאlonotתִשְׁחֲטוּtish/cha/TUyou shall slaughterבְּיוֹםbe/YOMon dayאֶחָד׃e/CHADone

    And whether it be cow or ewe, ye shall not kill it and her young both in one day.

29. 29

    וְכִי־תִזְבְּחוּve/KHI-tiz/be/CHUand when you offerזֶבַח־תּוֹדָהZE/vach-to/DAa sacrifice of thanksgivingלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDלִרְצֹנְכֶםlir/tson/KHEMfor your acceptanceתִּזְבָּחוּ׃tiz/BA/chuyou shall offer it

    And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the LORD, offer it at your own will.

30. 30

    בַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayהַהוּאha/HUthatיֵאָכֵלye/a/KHELit shall be eatenלֹא־תוֹתִירוּlo-to/TI/ruyou shall leave noneמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuof itעַד־בֹּקֶרad-BO/keruntil morningאֲנִיa/NII amיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    On the same day it shall be eaten up; ye shall leave none of it until the morrow: I am the LORD.

31. 31

    וּשְׁמַרְתֶּםu/she/mar/TEMand you shall keepמִצְוֺתַיmits/vo/TAYmy commandmentsוַעֲשִׂיתֶםva/a/si/TEMand doאֹתָםo/TAMthemאֲנִיa/NII amיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD.

32. 32

    וְלֹאve/LOand notתְחַלְּלוּte/chal/le/LUyou shall profaneאֶת־שֵׁםet-shemthe name ofקׇדְשִׁיkod/SHImy holinessוְנִקְדַּשְׁתִּיve/nik/DASH/tibut I will be hallowedבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHamongבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאֲנִיa/NII amיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמְקַדִּשְׁכֶם׃me/kad/dish/KHEMwho sanctifies you

    Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the LORD which hallow you,

33. 33

    הַמּוֹצִיאham/mo/TSIwho brought outאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsout of the land ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptלִהְיוֹתlih/YOTto beלָכֶםla/KHEMyourלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMGodאֲנִיa/NII amיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    That brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD.
