Leviticus 14 וַיִּקְרָא פרק י״ד

   וַיְדַבֵּרand spokeיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהto Mosesלֵּאמֹר׃saying

   And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2. 2

   זֹאתthisתִּהְיֶהshall beתּוֹרַתthe law ofהַמְּצֹרָעthe leperבְּיוֹםin the day ofטׇהֳרָתוֹhis cleansingוְהוּבָאand was broughtאֶל־הַכֹּהֵן׃to the priest

   This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest:

3. 3

   וְיָצָאand shall come forthהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֶל־מִחוּץto withoutלַמַּחֲנֶהthe campוְרָאָהand shall examineהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְהִנֵּהand beholdנִרְפָּאit is healedנֶגַע־הַצָּרַעַתa plague the leprosyמִן־הַצָּרוּעַ׃from the one who had a leprosy

   And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper;

   וְצִוָּהand shall commandהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְלָקַחand takeלַמִּטַּהֵרfor the one purifying himselfשְׁתֵּי־צִפֳּרִיםtwo birdsחַיּוֹתlivingטְהֹרוֹתcleanוְעֵץand wood ofאֶרֶזcedarוּשְׁנִיand scarlet ofתוֹלַעַתa wormוְאֵזֹב׃and hyssop

   Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:

5. 5

   וְצִוָּהand shall commandהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְשָׁחַטand shall slaughterאֶת־הַצִּפּוֹרthe birdהָאֶחָתthe oneאֶל־כְּלִי־חֶרֶשׂinto a vessel of earthenwareעַל־מַיִםupon waterחַיִּים׃living

   And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water:

6. 6

   אֶת־הַצִּפֹּרthe birdהַחַיָּהthe livingיִקַּחhe shall takeאֹתָהּitוְאֶת־עֵץand a treeהָאֶרֶזthe cedarוְאֶת־שְׁנִיand the scarlet ofהַתּוֹלַעַתthe wormוְאֶת־הָאֵזֹבand the hyssopוְטָבַלand he will dipאוֹתָםthemוְאֵתandהַצִּפֹּרthe birdהַחַיָּהthe livingבְּדַםin the blood ofהַצִּפֹּרthe birdהַשְּׁחֻטָהwhich was slaughteredעַלuponהַמַּיִםthe watersהַחַיִּים׃the living

   As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water:

   וְהִזָּהand he will spatterעַלuponהַמִּטַּהֵרthe one purifying himselfמִן־הַצָּרַעַתfrom the leprosyשֶׁבַעsevenפְּעָמִיםtimesוְטִהֲרוֹand shall pronounce cleanוְשִׁלַּחand he shall let goאֶת־הַצִּפֹּרthe birdהַחַיָּהthe livingעַל־פְּנֵיupon the face ofהַשָּׂדֶה׃the field

   And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.

8. 8

   וְכִבֶּסand he will washהַמִּטַּהֵרthe one purifying himselfאֶת־בְּגָדָיוhis garmentsוְגִלַּחand he will shaveאֶת־כׇּל־שְׂעָרוֹall his hairוְרָחַץand he will washבַּמַּיִםin the waterוְטָהֵרand he shall be cleanוְאַחַרand thenיָבוֹאshall comeאֶל־הַמַּחֲנֶהto the campוְיָשַׁבand he shall dwellמִחוּץwithoutלְאׇהֳלוֹhis tentשִׁבְעַתsevenיָמִים׃days

   And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days.

   וְהָיָהand beבַיּוֹםby the dayהַשְּׁבִיעִיthe seventhיְגַלַּחshall shaveאֶת־כׇּל־שְׂעָרוֹall his hairאֶת־רֹאשׁוֹhis headוְאֶת־זְקָנוֹand his beardוְאֵתandגַּבֹּתthe eyebrows ofעֵינָיוhis eyesוְאֶת־כׇּל־שְׂעָרוֹand all his hairיְגַלֵּחַhe will shaveוְכִבֶּסand he will washאֶת־בְּגָדָיוhis garmentsוְרָחַץand he will washאֶת־בְּשָׂרוֹhis fleshבַּמַּיִםin the waterוְטָהֵר׃and he shall be clean

   But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.

    וּבַיּוֹםand in the dayהַשְּׁמִינִיthe eighthיִקַּחhe shall takeשְׁנֵי־כְבָשִׂיםtwo lambsתְּמִימִםwithout blemishוְכַבְשָׂהand a ewe lambאַחַתoneבַּת־שְׁנָתָהּa year oldתְּמִימָהwithout blemishוּשְׁלֹשָׁהand threeעֶשְׂרֹנִיםtenthsסֹלֶתfine flourמִנְחָהa grain offeringבְּלוּלָהmixedבַשֶּׁמֶןwith the oilוְלֹגand a logאֶחָדoneשָׁמֶן׃oil

    And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.

11. 11

    וְהֶעֱמִידand he will stationהַכֹּהֵןthe priestהַמְטַהֵרwho pronounces cleanאֵת־הָאִישׁthe manהַמִּטַּהֵרthe one purifying himselfוְאֹתָםand themלִפְנֵיbeforeיְהֹוָהthe LORDפֶּתַחthe door ofאֹהֶלthe tent ofמוֹעֵד׃the congregation

    And the priest that maketh him clean shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:

12. 12

    וְלָקַחand takeהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֶת־הַכֶּבֶשׂthe lambהָאֶחָדthe oneוְהִקְרִיבand shall offerאֹתוֹitלְאָשָׁםto a guilt offeringוְאֶת־לֹגand the log ofהַשָּׁמֶןthe oilוְהֵנִיףand shall waveאֹתָםthemתְּנוּפָהa wave offeringלִפְנֵיbeforeיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

    And the priest shall take one he lamb, and offer him for a trespass offering, and the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:

13. 13

    וְשָׁחַטand shall slaughterאֶת־הַכֶּבֶשׂthe lambבִּמְקוֹםat the place ofאֲשֶׁרwhichיִשְׁחַטhe slaughtersאֶת־הַחַטָּאתthe sinוְאֶת־הָעֹלָהand the burnt offeringבִּמְקוֹםat the place ofהַקֹּדֶשׁthe sanctuaryכִּיforכַּחַטָּאתlike the sin offeringהָאָשָׁםthe guilt offeringהוּאitלַכֹּהֵןto the priestקֹדֶשׁholyקׇדָשִׁיםof holiesהוּא׃it

    And he shall slay the lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place: for as the sin offering is the priest's, so is the trespass offering: it is most holy:

14. 14

    וְלָקַחand takeהַכֹּהֵןthe priestמִדַּםfrom the blood ofהָאָשָׁםthe guilt offeringוְנָתַןand he shall giveהַכֹּהֵןthe priestעַל־תְּנוּךְupon the lobe ofאֹזֶןan earהַמִּטַּהֵרthe one purifying himselfהַיְמָנִיתthe rightוְעַל־בֹּהֶןand upon the thumb ofיָדוֹhis handהַיְמָנִיתthe rightוְעַל־בֹּהֶןand upon the thumb ofרַגְלוֹhis footהַיְמָנִית׃the right

    And the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:

15. 15

    וְלָקַחand takeהַכֹּהֵןthe priestמִלֹּגsome of the log ofהַשָּׁמֶןthe oilוְיָצַקand he will pourעַל־כַּףupon the palm ofהַכֹּהֵןthe priestהַשְּׂמָאלִית׃the left

    And the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand:

16. 16

    וְטָבַלand he will dipהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֶת־אֶצְבָּעוֹhis fingerהַיְמָנִיתthe rightמִן־הַשֶּׁמֶןfrom the oilאֲשֶׁרwhichעַל־כַּפּוֹupon his palmהַשְּׂמָאלִיתthe leftוְהִזָּהand he will spatterמִן־הַשֶּׁמֶןfrom the oilבְּאֶצְבָּעוֹwith his fingerשֶׁבַעsevenפְּעָמִיםtimesלִפְנֵיbeforeיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

    And the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before the LORD:

17. 17

    וּמִיֶּתֶרand some of the remainder ofהַשֶּׁמֶןthe oilאֲשֶׁרwhichעַל־כַּפּוֹupon his palmיִתֵּןshall giveהַכֹּהֵןthe priestעַל־תְּנוּךְupon the lobe ofאֹזֶןan earהַמִּטַּהֵרthe one purifying himselfהַיְמָנִיתthe rightוְעַל־בֹּהֶןand upon the thumb ofיָדוֹhis handהַיְמָנִיתthe rightוְעַל־בֹּהֶןand upon the thumb ofרַגְלוֹhis footהַיְמָנִיתthe rightעַלuponדַּםthe blood ofהָאָשָׁם׃the guilt offering

    And of the rest of the oil that is in his hand shall the priest put upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering:

18. 18

    וְהַנּוֹתָרand the remainingבַּשֶּׁמֶןwith the oilאֲשֶׁרwhichעַל־כַּףupon the palm ofהַכֹּהֵןthe priestיִתֵּןshall giveעַל־רֹאשׁupon the head ofהַמִּטַּהֵרthe one purifying himselfוְכִפֶּרand he will make atonementעָלָיוupon himהַכֹּהֵןthe priestלִפְנֵיbeforeיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

    And the remnant of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be cleansed: and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD.

19. 19

    וְעָשָׂהand shall offerהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֶת־הַחַטָּאתthe sinוְכִפֶּרand he will make atonementעַל־הַמִּטַּהֵרupon the one purifying himselfמִטֻּמְאָתוֹfrom his uncleannessוְאַחַרand thenיִשְׁחַטhe slaughtersאֶת־הָעֹלָה׃the burnt offering

    And the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering:

20. 20

    וְהֶעֱלָהand he will bring upהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֶת־הָעֹלָהthe burnt offeringוְאֶת־הַמִּנְחָהand the grain offeringהַמִּזְבֵּחָהon the altarוְכִפֶּרand he will make atonementעָלָיוupon himהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְטָהֵר׃and he shall be clean

    And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meat offering upon the altar: and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and he shall be clean.

21. 21

    וְאִם־דַּלand if poorהוּאitוְאֵיןand there is notיָדוֹhis handמַשֶּׂגֶתreachingוְלָקַחand takeכֶּבֶשׂa lambאֶחָדoneאָשָׁםa guilt offeringלִתְנוּפָהto a wave offeringלְכַפֵּרto make atonementעָלָיוupon himוְעִשָּׂרוֹןand a tenth ofסֹלֶתfine flourאֶחָדoneבָּלוּלmixedבַּשֶּׁמֶןwith the oilלְמִנְחָהto a grain offeringוְלֹגand a logשָׁמֶן׃oil

    And if he be poor, and cannot get so much; then he shall take one lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make an atonement for him, and one tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering, and a log of oil;

22. 22

    וּשְׁתֵּיand twoתֹרִיםturtle dovesאוֹorשְׁנֵיtwoבְּנֵיthe sons ofיוֹנָהa doveאֲשֶׁרwhichתַּשִּׂיגit will reachיָדוֹhis handוְהָיָהand beאֶחָדoneחַטָּאתsinוְהָאֶחָדand the oneעֹלָה׃a burnt offering

    And two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to get; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.

23. 23

    וְהֵבִיאand he will bringאֹתָםthemבַּיּוֹםin the dayהַשְּׁמִינִיthe eighthלְטׇהֳרָתוֹto his cleansingאֶל־הַכֹּהֵןto the priestאֶל־פֶּתַחto the door ofאֹהֶל־מוֹעֵדtent of the congregationלִפְנֵיbeforeיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

    And he shall bring them on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the LORD.

24. 24

    וְלָקַחand takeהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֶת־כֶּבֶשׂa lambהָאָשָׁםthe guilt offeringוְאֶת־לֹגand the log ofהַשָּׁמֶןthe oilוְהֵנִיףand shall waveאֹתָםthemהַכֹּהֵןthe priestתְּנוּפָהa wave offeringלִפְנֵיbeforeיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

    And the priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:

25. 25

    וְשָׁחַטand shall slaughterאֶת־כֶּבֶשׂa lambהָאָשָׁםthe guilt offeringוְלָקַחand takeהַכֹּהֵןthe priestמִדַּםfrom the blood ofהָאָשָׁםthe guilt offeringוְנָתַןand he shall giveעַל־תְּנוּךְupon the lobe ofאֹזֶן־הַמִּטַּהֵרan ear the one purifying himselfהַיְמָנִיתthe rightוְעַל־בֹּהֶןand upon the thumb ofיָדוֹhis handהַיְמָנִיתthe rightוְעַל־בֹּהֶןand upon the thumb ofרַגְלוֹhis footהַיְמָנִית׃the right

    And he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering, and the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:

26. 26

    וּמִן־הַשֶּׁמֶןand from the oilיִצֹקhe will pourהַכֹּהֵןthe priestעַל־כַּףupon the palm ofהַכֹּהֵןthe priestהַשְּׂמָאלִית׃the left

    And the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand:

27. 27

    וְהִזָּהand he will spatterהַכֹּהֵןthe priestבְּאֶצְבָּעוֹwith his fingerהַיְמָנִיתthe rightמִן־הַשֶּׁמֶןfrom the oilאֲשֶׁרwhichעַל־כַּפּוֹupon his palmהַשְּׂמָאלִיתthe leftשֶׁבַעsevenפְּעָמִיםtimesלִפְנֵיbeforeיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

    And the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before the LORD:

28. 28

    וְנָתַןand he shall giveהַכֹּהֵןthe priestמִן־הַשֶּׁמֶןfrom the oilאֲשֶׁרwhichעַל־כַּפּוֹupon his palmעַל־תְּנוּךְupon the lobe ofאֹזֶןan earהַמִּטַּהֵרthe one purifying himselfהַיְמָנִיתthe rightוְעַל־בֹּהֶןand upon the thumb ofיָדוֹhis handהַיְמָנִיתthe rightוְעַל־בֹּהֶןand upon the thumb ofרַגְלוֹhis footהַיְמָנִיתthe rightעַל־מְקוֹםupon the placeדַּםthe blood ofהָאָשָׁם׃the guilt offering

    And the priest shall put of the oil that is in his hand upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the trespass offering:

29. 29

    וְהַנּוֹתָרand the remainingמִן־הַשֶּׁמֶןfrom the oilאֲשֶׁרwhichעַל־כַּףupon the palm ofהַכֹּהֵןthe priestיִתֵּןshall giveעַל־רֹאשׁupon the head ofהַמִּטַּהֵרthe one purifying himselfלְכַפֵּרto make atonementעָלָיוupon himלִפְנֵיbeforeיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

    And the rest of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall put upon the head of him that is to be cleansed, to make an atonement for him before the LORD.

30. 30

    וְעָשָׂהand shall offerאֶת־הָאֶחָדthe oneמִן־הַתֹּרִיםfrom the turtle dovesאוֹorמִן־בְּנֵיfrom the sons ofהַיּוֹנָהthe doveמֵאֲשֶׁרthan thatתַּשִּׂיגit will reachיָדוֹ׃his hand

    And he shall offer the one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he can get;

31. 31

    אֵת־אֲשֶׁר־תַּשִּׂיגthat which it will reachיָדוֹhis handאֶת־הָאֶחָדthe oneחַטָּאתsinוְאֶת־הָאֶחָדand the oneעֹלָהa burnt offeringעַל־הַמִּנְחָהupon the grain offeringוְכִפֶּרand he will make atonementהַכֹּהֵןthe priestעַלuponהַמִּטַּהֵרthe one purifying himselfלִפְנֵיbeforeיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

    Even such as he is able to get, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meat offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed before the LORD.

32. 32

    זֹאתthisתּוֹרַתthe law ofאֲשֶׁר־בּוֹin whichנֶגַעa plagueצָרָעַתleprosyאֲשֶׁרwhichלֹא־תַשִּׂיגnot it will reachיָדוֹhis handבְּטׇהֳרָתוֹ׃in his cleansing

    This is the law of him in whom is the plague of leprosy, whose hand is not able to get that which pertaineth to his cleansing.

33. 33

    וַיְדַבֵּרand spokeיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהto Mosesוְאֶל־אַהֲרֹןand Aaronלֵאמֹר׃saying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

34. 34

    כִּיwhenתָבֹאוּyou comeאֶל־אֶרֶץto the land ofכְּנַעַןCanaanאֲשֶׁרwhichאֲנִיIנֹתֵןgivingלָכֶםto youלַאֲחֻזָּהto a possessionוְנָתַתִּיand I will giveנֶגַעa plagueצָרַעַתleprosyבְּבֵיתin the house ofאֶרֶץthe land ofאֲחֻזַּתְכֶם׃your possession

    When ye be come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession;

35. 35

    וּבָאand comeאֲשֶׁר־לוֹwhich he hasהַבַּיִתthe houseוְהִגִּידand he will tellלַכֹּהֵןto the priestלֵאמֹרsayingכְּנֶגַעlike a plagueנִרְאָהappearedלִיto meבַּבָּיִת׃in the house

    And he that owneth the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, It seemeth to me there is as it were a plague in the house:

36. 36

    וְצִוָּהand shall commandהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוּפִנּוּand they will make clearאֶת־הַבַּיִתthe houseבְּטֶרֶםbeforeיָבֹאshall comeהַכֹּהֵןthe priestלִרְאוֹתto examineאֶת־הַנֶּגַעthe plagueוְלֹאand notיִטְמָאhe shall be uncleanכׇּל־אֲשֶׁרall whichבַּבָּיִתin the houseוְאַחַרand thenכֵּןthusיָבֹאshall comeהַכֹּהֵןthe priestלִרְאוֹתto examineאֶת־הַבָּיִת׃the house

    Then the priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest go into it to see the plague, that all that is in the house be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house:

37. 37

    וְרָאָהand shall examineאֶת־הַנֶּגַעthe plagueוְהִנֵּהand beholdהַנֶּגַעthe plagueבְּקִירֹתin the walls ofהַבַּיִתthe houseשְׁקַעֲרוּרֹתdepressionsיְרַקְרַקֹּתgreenishאוֹorאֲדַמְדַּמֹּתreddishוּמַרְאֵיהֶןand their appearanceשָׁפָלlowerמִן־הַקִּיר׃than the wall

    And he shall look on the plague, and, behold, if the plague be in the walls of the house with hollow strakes, greenish or reddish, which in sight are lower than the wall;

38. 38

    וְיָצָאand shall come forthהַכֹּהֵןthe priestמִן־הַבַּיִתfrom the houseאֶל־פֶּתַחto the door ofהַבָּיִתthe houseוְהִסְגִּירand he will shut upאֶת־הַבַּיִתthe houseשִׁבְעַתsevenיָמִים׃days

    Then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days:

39. 39

    וְשָׁבand shall returnהַכֹּהֵןthe priestבַּיּוֹםin the dayהַשְּׁבִיעִיthe seventhוְרָאָהand shall examineוְהִנֵּהand beholdפָּשָׂהit has spreadהַנֶּגַעthe plagueבְּקִירֹתin the walls ofהַבָּיִת׃the house

    And the priest shall come again the seventh day, and shall look: and, behold, if the plague be spread in the walls of the house;

40. 40

    וְצִוָּהand shall commandהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְחִלְּצוּand they will tear outאֶת־הָאֲבָנִיםthe stonesאֲשֶׁרwhichבָּהֵןin themהַנָּגַעthe plagueוְהִשְׁלִיכוּand they will throwאֶתְהֶןthemאֶל־מִחוּץto withoutלָעִירto the city ofאֶל־מָקוֹםto a placeטָמֵא׃unclean

    Then the priest shall command that they take away the stones in which the plague is, and they shall cast them into an unclean place without the city:

41. 41

    וְאֶת־הַבַּיִתand the houseיַקְצִעַhe will scrapeמִבַּיִתfrom the houseסָבִיבall aroundוְשָׁפְכוּand they did shedאֶת־הֶעָפָרthe dustאֲשֶׁרwhichהִקְצוּthey have scraped offאֶל־מִחוּץto withoutלָעִירto the city ofאֶל־מָקוֹםto a placeטָמֵא׃unclean

    And he shall cause the house to be scraped within round about, and they shall pour out the dust that they scrape off without the city into an unclean place:

42. 42

    וְלָקְחוּand they will takeאֲבָנִיםstonesאֲחֵרוֹתotherוְהֵבִיאוּand they broughtאֶל־תַּחַתto underהָאֲבָנִיםthe stonesוְעָפָרand the earthאַחֵרotherיִקַּחtake upon himוְטָחand he will plasterאֶת־הַבָּיִת׃the house

    And they shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take other morter, and shall plaister the house.

43. 43

    וְאִם־יָשׁוּבand if returnsהַנֶּגַעthe plagueוּפָרַחand it will break outבַּבַּיִתin the houseאַחַרafterחִלֵּץtears outאֶת־הָאֲבָנִיםthe stonesוְאַחֲרֵיand afterהִקְצוֹתhas scrapedאֶת־הַבַּיִתthe houseוְאַחֲרֵיand afterהִטּוֹחַ׃was plastered

    And if the plague come again, and break out in the house, after that he hath taken away the stones, and after he hath scraped the house, and after it is plaistered;

44. 44

    וּבָאand comeהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְרָאָהand shall examineוְהִנֵּהand beholdפָּשָׂהit has spreadהַנֶּגַעthe plagueבַּבָּיִתin the houseצָרַעַתleprosyמַמְאֶרֶתmalignantהִואit isבַּבַּיִתin the houseטָמֵאuncleanהוּא׃it

    Then the priest shall come and look, and, behold, if the plague be spread in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house: it is unclean.

45. 45

    וְנָתַץand he will pull downאֶת־הַבַּיִתthe houseאֶת־אֲבָנָיוits stonesוְאֶת־עֵצָיוand its woodוְאֵתandכׇּל־עֲפַרall the dust ofהַבָּיִתthe houseוְהוֹצִיאand he shall bring outאֶל־מִחוּץto withoutלָעִירto the city ofאֶל־מָקוֹםto a placeטָמֵא׃unclean

    And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the morter of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place.

46. 46

    וְהַבָּאand the one who comesאֶל־הַבַּיִתto the houseכׇּל־יְמֵיall days ofהִסְגִּירhe has shut upאֹתוֹhimיִטְמָאhe shall be uncleanעַד־הָעָרֶב׃until the evening

    Moreover he that goeth into the house all the while that it is shut up shall be unclean until the even.

47. 47

    וְהַשֹּׁכֵבand the one who lies downבַּבַּיִתin the houseיְכַבֵּסhe shall washאֶת־בְּגָדָיוhis garmentsוְהָאֹכֵלand the one who eatsבַּבַּיִתin the houseיְכַבֵּסhe shall washאֶת־בְּגָדָיו׃his garments

    And he that lieth in the house shall wash his clothes; and he that eateth in the house shall wash his clothes.

48. 48

    וְאִם־בֹּאand if comeיָבֹאshall comeהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְרָאָהand shall examineוְהִנֵּהand beholdלֹא־פָשָׂהnot it has spreadהַנֶּגַעthe plagueבַּבַּיִתin the houseאַחֲרֵיafterהִטֹּחַwas plasteredאֶת־הַבָּיִתthe houseוְטִהַרand he shall purifyהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֶת־הַבַּיִתthe houseכִּיbecauseנִרְפָּאit is healedהַנָּגַע׃the plague

    And if the priest shall come in, and look upon it, and, behold, the plague hath not spread in the house, after the house was plaistered: then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.

49. 49

    וְלָקַחand takeלְחַטֵּאto cleanse from sinאֶת־הַבַּיִתthe houseשְׁתֵּיtwoצִפֳּרִיםbirdsוְעֵץand wood ofאֶרֶזcedarוּשְׁנִיand scarlet ofתוֹלַעַתa wormוְאֵזֹב׃and hyssop

    And he shall take to cleanse the house two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:

50. 50

    וְשָׁחַטand shall slaughterאֶת־הַצִּפֹּרthe birdהָאֶחָתthe oneאֶל־כְּלִי־חֶרֶשׂinto a vessel of earthenwareעַל־מַיִםupon waterחַיִּים׃living

    And he shall kill the one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water:

51. 51

    וְלָקַחand takeאֶת־עֵץ־הָאֶרֶזthe cedar woodוְאֶת־הָאֵזֹבand the hyssopוְאֵתandשְׁנִיthe scarlet ofהַתּוֹלַעַתthe wormוְאֵתandהַצִּפֹּרthe birdהַחַיָּהthe livingוְטָבַלand he will dipאֹתָםthemבְּדַםin the blood ofהַצִּפֹּרthe birdהַשְּׁחוּטָהwhich was slaughteredוּבַמַּיִםand in the waterהַחיִּיםthe livingוְהִזָּהand he will spatterאֶל־הַבַּיִתto the houseשֶׁבַעsevenפְּעָמִים׃times

    And he shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times:

52. 52

    וְחִטֵּאand he will cleanse from sinאֶת־הַבַּיִתthe houseבְּדַםin the blood ofהַצִּפּוֹרthe birdוּבַמַּיִםand in the waterהַחַיִּיםthe livingוּבַצִּפֹּרand with the birdהַחַיָּהthe livingוּבְעֵץand with the wood ofהָאֶרֶזthe cedarוּבָאֵזֹבand with the hyssopוּבִשְׁנִיand with the scarlet ofהַתּוֹלָעַת׃the worm

    And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet:

53. 53

    וְשִׁלַּחand he shall let goאֶת־הַצִּפֹּרthe birdהַחַיָּהthe livingאֶל־מִחוּץto withoutלָעִירto the city ofאֶל־פְּנֵיto the face ofהַשָּׂדֶהthe fieldוְכִפֶּרand he will make atonementעַל־הַבַּיִתupon the houseוְטָהֵר׃and it shall be clean

    But he shall let go the living bird out of the city into the open fields, and make an atonement for the house: and it shall be clean.

54. 54

    זֹאתthisהַתּוֹרָהthe Lawלְכׇל־נֶגַעto all a plagueהַצָּרַעַתthe leprosyוְלַנָּתֶק׃and to the scall

    This is the law for all manner of plague of leprosy, and scall,

55. 55

    וּלְצָרַעַתand to the leprosy ofהַבֶּגֶדthe garmentוְלַבָּיִת׃and to the house

    And for the leprosy of a garment, and of a house,

56. 56

    וְלַשְׂאֵתand to swellingוְלַסַּפַּחַתand to the flaking skinוְלַבֶּהָרֶת׃and to the bright spot

    And for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot:

57. 57

    לְהוֹרֹתto teachבְּיוֹםin the day ofהַטָּמֵאthe uncleanוּבְיוֹםand in the day ofהַטָּהֹרthe cleanזֹאתthisתּוֹרַתthe law ofהַצָּרָעַת׃the leprosy

    To teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean: this is the law of leprosy.
