Leviticus 14 וַיִּקְרָא פרק י״ד

   וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesלֵּאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

   And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2. 2

   זֹאתzotthisתִּהְיֶהtih/YEshall beתּוֹרַתto/RATthe law ofהַמְּצֹרָעham/me/tso/RAthe leperבְּיוֹםbe/YOMon the day ofטׇהֳרָתוֹto/ho/ra/TOhis cleansingוְהוּבָאve/hu/VAthen he shall be broughtאֶל־הַכֹּהֵן׃el-hak/ko/HENto the priest

   This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest:

   וְיָצָאve/ya/TSAand shall go outהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestאֶל־מִחוּץel-mi/CHUTSout ofלַמַּחֲנֶהlam/ma/cha/NEthe campוְרָאָהve/ra/Aand shall examineהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdנִרְפָּאnir/PAis healedנֶגַע־הַצָּרַעַתNE/ga-hats/tsa/RA/atthe plague of leprosyמִן־הַצָּרוּעַ׃min-hats/tsa/RU/ain the leper

   And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper;

   וְצִוָּהve/tsiv/VAand shall commandהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestוְלָקַחve/la/KACHto takeלַמִּטַּהֵרlam/mit/ta/HERfor the one being cleansedשְׁתֵּי־צִפֳּרִיםshte-tsip/po/RIMtwo birdsחַיּוֹתchay/YOTaliveטְהֹרוֹתte/ho/ROTcleanוְעֵץve/ETSand wood ofאֶרֶזE/rezcedarוּשְׁנִיu/she/NIand scarletתוֹלַעַתto/LA/atcrimsonוְאֵזֹב׃ve/e/ZOVand hyssop

   Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:

   וְצִוָּהve/tsiv/VAand shall commandהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestוְשָׁחַטve/sha/CHATand shall slaughterאֶת־הַצִּפּוֹרet-hats/tsip/PORthe birdהָאֶחָתha/e/CHAToneאֶל־כְּלִי־חֶרֶשׂel-ke/LI-CHE/resinto a vessel of earthenwareעַל־מַיִםal-MA/yimover waterחַיִּים׃chay/YIMrunning

   And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water:

6. 6

   אֶת־הַצִּפֹּרet-hats/tsip/PORthe birdהַחַיָּהha/chay/YAlivingיִקַּחyik/KACHhe shall takeאֹתָהּo/TAitוְאֶת־עֵץve/ET-etsand the wood ofהָאֶרֶזha/E/rezthe cedarוְאֶת־שְׁנִיve/ET-she/NIand the scarletהַתּוֹלַעַתhat/to/LA/atcrimsonוְאֶת־הָאֵזֹבve/ET-ha/e/ZOVand the hyssopוְטָבַלve/ta/VALand he shall dipאוֹתָםo/TAMthemוְאֵתve/ETandהַצִּפֹּרhats/tsip/PORthe birdהַחַיָּהha/chay/YAlivingבְּדַםbe/DAMin the blood ofהַצִּפֹּרhats/tsip/PORthe birdהַשְּׁחֻטָהhash/she/chu/TAthat was slaughteredעַלaloverהַמַּיִםham/MA/yimthe waterהַחַיִּים׃ha/chay/YIMrunning

   As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water:

   וְהִזָּהve/hiz/ZAand he shall sprinkleעַלaluponהַמִּטַּהֵרham/mit/ta/HERthe one being cleansedמִן־הַצָּרַעַתmin-hats/tsa/RA/atfrom the leprosyשֶׁבַעSHE/vasevenפְּעָמִיםpe/a/MIMtimesוְטִהֲרוֹve/ti/ha/ROand shall pronounce him cleanוְשִׁלַּחve/shil/LACHand shall let looseאֶת־הַצִּפֹּרet-hats/tsip/PORthe birdהַחַיָּהha/chay/YAlivingעַל־פְּנֵיal-pe/NEinto the openהַשָּׂדֶה׃has/sa/DEthe field

   And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.

   וְכִבֶּסve/khib/BESand shall washהַמִּטַּהֵרham/mit/ta/HERthe one being cleansedאֶת־בְּגָדָיוet-be/ga/DAYVhis garmentsוְגִלַּחve/gil/LACHand shaveאֶת־כׇּל־שְׂעָרוֹet-kol-se/a/ROall his hairוְרָחַץve/ra/CHATSand batheבַּמַּיִםbam/MA/yimin waterוְטָהֵרve/ta/HERand be cleanוְאַחַרve/a/CHARand after thatיָבוֹאya/VOhe shall comeאֶל־הַמַּחֲנֶהel-ham/ma/cha/NEinto the campוְיָשַׁבve/ya/SHAVbut shall stayמִחוּץmi/CHUTSoutsideלְאׇהֳלוֹle/o/ho/LOof his tentשִׁבְעַתshiv/ATsevenיָמִים׃ya/MIMdays

   And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days.

   וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beבַיּוֹםvay/YOMon the dayהַשְּׁבִיעִיhash/she/vi/Ithe seventhיְגַלַּחye/gal/LACHhe shall shaveאֶת־כׇּל־שְׂעָרוֹet-kol-se/a/ROall his hairאֶת־רֹאשׁוֹet-ro/SHOhis headוְאֶת־זְקָנוֹve/ET-ze/ka/NOand his beardוְאֵתve/ETandגַּבֹּתgab/BOTthe brows ofעֵינָיוe/NAYVhis eyesוְאֶת־כׇּל־שְׂעָרוֹve/ET-kol-se/a/ROand all his hairיְגַלֵּחַye/gal/LE/achhe shall shaveוְכִבֶּסve/khib/BESand he shall washאֶת־בְּגָדָיוet-be/ga/DAYVhis garmentsוְרָחַץve/ra/CHATSand he shall batheאֶת־בְּשָׂרוֹet-be/sa/ROhis fleshבַּמַּיִםbam/MA/yimin waterוְטָהֵר׃ve/ta/HERand be clean

   But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.

    וּבַיּוֹםu/vay/YOMand on the dayהַשְּׁמִינִיhash/she/mi/NIthe eighthיִקַּחyik/KACHhe shall takeשְׁנֵי־כְבָשִׂיםshe/NE-khe/va/SIMtwo lambsתְּמִימִםte/mi/MIMwithout blemishוְכַבְשָׂהve/khav/SAand a ewe lambאַחַתa/CHAToneבַּת־שְׁנָתָהּbat-she/na/TAa year oldתְּמִימָהte/mi/MAwithout blemishוּשְׁלֹשָׁהu/she/lo/SHAand threeעֶשְׂרֹנִיםes/ro/NIMtenthsסֹלֶתSO/letof fine flourמִנְחָהmin/CHAa grain offeringבְּלוּלָהbe/lu/LAmixedבַשֶּׁמֶןvash/SHE/menwith oilוְלֹגve/LOGand a logאֶחָדe/CHADoneשָׁמֶן׃SHA/menof oil

    And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.

    וְהֶעֱמִידve/he/e/MIDand shall presentהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestהַמְטַהֵרham/ta/HERwho makes him cleanאֵת־הָאִישׁet-ha/ISHthe manהַמִּטַּהֵרham/mit/ta/HERthe one being cleansedוְאֹתָםve/o/TAMand those thingsלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDפֶּתַחPE/tachat the door ofאֹהֶלO/helthe tent ofמוֹעֵד׃mo/EDmeeting

    And the priest that maketh him clean shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:

12. 12

    וְלָקַחve/la/KACHand shall takeהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestאֶת־הַכֶּבֶשׂet-hak/KE/vesthe lambהָאֶחָדha/e/CHADoneוְהִקְרִיבve/hik/RIVand shall offerאֹתוֹo/TOitלְאָשָׁםle/a/SHAMfor a guilt offeringוְאֶת־לֹגve/ET-logand the log ofהַשָּׁמֶןhash/SHA/menoilוְהֵנִיףve/he/NIFand shall waveאֹתָםo/TAMthemתְּנוּפָהte/nu/FAas a wave offeringלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    And the priest shall take one he lamb, and offer him for a trespass offering, and the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:

13. 13

    וְשָׁחַטve/sha/CHATand he shall slaughterאֶת־הַכֶּבֶשׂet-hak/KE/vesthe lambבִּמְקוֹםbim/KOMin the place ofאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereיִשְׁחַטyish/CHAThe slaughtersאֶת־הַחַטָּאתet-ha/chat/TATthe sin offeringוְאֶת־הָעֹלָהve/ET-ha/o/LAand the burnt offeringבִּמְקוֹםbim/KOMin the place ofהַקֹּדֶשׁhak/KO/deshthe sanctuaryכִּיkiforכַּחַטָּאתka/chat/TATas the sin offeringהָאָשָׁםha/a/SHAMthe guilt offeringהוּאhuisלַכֹּהֵןlak/ko/HENthe priest'sקֹדֶשׁKO/deshholy ofקׇדָשִׁיםko/da/SHIMholiesהוּא׃huit is

    And he shall slay the lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place: for as the sin offering is the priest's, so is the trespass offering: it is most holy:

14. 14

    וְלָקַחve/la/KACHand shall takeהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestמִדַּםmid/DAMof the blood ofהָאָשָׁםha/a/SHAMthe guilt offeringוְנָתַןve/na/TANand shall putהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestעַל־תְּנוּךְal-te/NUKHupon the lobe ofאֹזֶןO/zenthe ear ofהַמִּטַּהֵרham/mit/ta/HERthe one being cleansedהַיְמָנִיתhay/ma/NITrightוְעַל־בֹּהֶןve/AL-BO/henand upon the thumb ofיָדוֹya/DOhis handהַיְמָנִיתhay/ma/NITrightוְעַל־בֹּהֶןve/AL-BO/henand upon the thumb ofרַגְלוֹrag/LOhis footהַיְמָנִית׃hay/ma/NITright

    And the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:

15. 15

    וְלָקַחve/la/KACHand shall takeהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestמִלֹּגmil/LOGof the log ofהַשָּׁמֶןhash/SHA/menoilוְיָצַקve/ya/TSAKand pour itעַל־כַּףal-kafinto the palm ofהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestהַשְּׂמָאלִית׃has/se/ma/LITleft

    And the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand:

16. 16

    וְטָבַלve/ta/VALand he shall dipהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestאֶת־אֶצְבָּעוֹet-ets/ba/Ohis fingerהַיְמָנִיתhay/ma/NITrightמִן־הַשֶּׁמֶןmin-hash/SHE/menin the oilאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isעַל־כַּפּוֹal-kap/POin his palmהַשְּׂמָאלִיתhas/se/ma/LITleftוְהִזָּהve/hiz/ZAand he shall sprinkleמִן־הַשֶּׁמֶןmin-hash/SHE/menof the oilבְּאֶצְבָּעוֹbe/ets/ba/Owith his fingerשֶׁבַעSHE/vasevenפְּעָמִיםpe/a/MIMtimesלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    And the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before the LORD:

17. 17

    וּמִיֶּתֶרu/miy/YE/terand of the rest ofהַשֶּׁמֶןhash/SHE/menthe oilאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isעַל־כַּפּוֹal-kap/POin his palmיִתֵּןyit/TENhe shall putהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestעַל־תְּנוּךְal-te/NUKHupon the lobe ofאֹזֶןO/zenthe ear ofהַמִּטַּהֵרham/mit/ta/HERthe one being cleansedהַיְמָנִיתhay/ma/NITrightוְעַל־בֹּהֶןve/AL-BO/henand upon the thumb ofיָדוֹya/DOhis handהַיְמָנִיתhay/ma/NITrightוְעַל־בֹּהֶןve/AL-BO/henand upon the thumb ofרַגְלוֹrag/LOhis footהַיְמָנִיתhay/ma/NITrightעַלaluponדַּםdamthe blood ofהָאָשָׁם׃ha/a/SHAMthe guilt offering

    And of the rest of the oil that is in his hand shall the priest put upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering:

18. 18

    וְהַנּוֹתָרve/han/no/TARand the restבַּשֶּׁמֶןbash/SHE/menof the oilאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isעַל־כַּףal-kafin the palm ofהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestיִתֵּןyit/TENhe shall putעַל־רֹאשׁal-roshupon the head ofהַמִּטַּהֵרham/mit/ta/HERthe one being cleansedוְכִפֶּרve/khip/PERand he shall make atonementעָלָיוa/LAYVfor himהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    And the remnant of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be cleansed: and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD.

19. 19

    וְעָשָׂהve/a/SAand shall offerהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestאֶת־הַחַטָּאתet-ha/chat/TATthe sin offeringוְכִפֶּרve/khip/PERand he shall make atonementעַל־הַמִּטַּהֵרal-ham/mit/ta/HERfor the one being cleansedמִטֻּמְאָתוֹmit/tum/a/TObecause of his uncleannessוְאַחַרve/a/CHARand afterwardיִשְׁחַטyish/CHAThe shall slaughterאֶת־הָעֹלָה׃et-ha/o/LAthe burnt offering

    And the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering:

20. 20

    וְהֶעֱלָהve/he/e/LAand shall offerהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestאֶת־הָעֹלָהet-ha/o/LAthe burnt offeringוְאֶת־הַמִּנְחָהve/ET-ham/min/CHAand the grain offeringהַמִּזְבֵּחָהham/miz/BE/chaon the altarוְכִפֶּרve/khip/PERand he shall make atonementעָלָיוa/LAYVfor himהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestוְטָהֵר׃ve/ta/HERand he shall be clean

    And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the meat offering upon the altar: and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and he shall be clean.

21. 21

    וְאִם־דַּלve/IM-daland if poorהוּאhuhe isוְאֵיןve/ENand cannotיָדוֹya/DOhis handמַשֶּׂגֶתmas/SE/getreachוְלָקַחve/la/KACHthen he shall takeכֶּבֶשׂKE/vesa lambאֶחָדe/CHADoneאָשָׁםa/SHAMas a guilt offeringלִתְנוּפָהlit/nu/FAto be wavedלְכַפֵּרle/khap/PERto make atonementעָלָיוa/LAYVfor himוְעִשָּׂרוֹןve/is/sa/RONand a tenth ofסֹלֶתSO/letfine flourאֶחָדe/CHADoneבָּלוּלba/LULmixedבַּשֶּׁמֶןbash/SHE/menwith oilלְמִנְחָהle/min/CHAfor a grain offeringוְלֹגve/LOGand a logשָׁמֶן׃SHA/menof oil

    And if he be poor, and cannot get so much; then he shall take one lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make an atonement for him, and one tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering, and a log of oil;

22. 22

    וּשְׁתֵּיush/TEand twoתֹרִיםto/RIMturtledovesאוֹoorשְׁנֵיshe/NEtwoבְּנֵיbe/NEyoungיוֹנָהyo/NApigeonsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERsuch asתַּשִּׂיגtas/SIGreachesיָדוֹya/DOhis handוְהָיָהve/ha/YAand shall beאֶחָדe/CHADoneחַטָּאתchat/TATa sin offeringוְהָאֶחָדve/ha/e/CHADand the oneעֹלָה׃o/LAa burnt offering

    And two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to get; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.

23. 23

    וְהֵבִיאve/he/VIand he shall bringאֹתָםo/TAMthemבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayהַשְּׁמִינִיhash/she/mi/NIthe eighthלְטׇהֳרָתוֹle/to/ho/ra/TOfor his cleansingאֶל־הַכֹּהֵןel-hak/ko/HENto the priestאֶל־פֶּתַחel-PE/tachto the door ofאֹהֶל־מוֹעֵדO/hel-mo/EDthe tent of meetingלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    And he shall bring them on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the LORD.

24. 24

    וְלָקַחve/la/KACHand shall takeהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestאֶת־כֶּבֶשׂet-KE/vesthe lamb ofהָאָשָׁםha/a/SHAMthe guilt offeringוְאֶת־לֹגve/ET-logand the log ofהַשָּׁמֶןhash/SHA/menoilוְהֵנִיףve/he/NIFand shall waveאֹתָםo/TAMthemהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestתְּנוּפָהte/nu/FAas a wave offeringלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    And the priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:

25. 25

    וְשָׁחַטve/sha/CHATand he shall slaughterאֶת־כֶּבֶשׂet-KE/vesthe lamb ofהָאָשָׁםha/a/SHAMthe guilt offeringוְלָקַחve/la/KACHand shall takeהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestמִדַּםmid/DAMof the blood ofהָאָשָׁםha/a/SHAMthe guilt offeringוְנָתַןve/na/TANand put itעַל־תְּנוּךְal-te/NUKHupon the lobe ofאֹזֶן־הַמִּטַּהֵרO/zen-ham/mit/ta/HERthe ear of the one being cleansedהַיְמָנִיתhay/ma/NITrightוְעַל־בֹּהֶןve/AL-BO/henand upon the thumb ofיָדוֹya/DOhis handהַיְמָנִיתhay/ma/NITrightוְעַל־בֹּהֶןve/AL-BO/henand upon the thumb ofרַגְלוֹrag/LOhis footהַיְמָנִית׃hay/ma/NITright

    And he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering, and the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:

26. 26

    וּמִן־הַשֶּׁמֶןu/MIN-hash/SHE/menand of the oilיִצֹקyi/TSOKhe shall pourהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestעַל־כַּףal-kafinto the palm ofהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestהַשְּׂמָאלִית׃has/se/ma/LITleft

    And the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand:

27. 27

    וְהִזָּהve/hiz/ZAand he shall sprinkleהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestבְּאֶצְבָּעוֹbe/ets/ba/Owith his fingerהַיְמָנִיתhay/ma/NITrightמִן־הַשֶּׁמֶןmin-hash/SHE/mensome of the oilאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isעַל־כַּפּוֹal-kap/POin his palmהַשְּׂמָאלִיתhas/se/ma/LITleftשֶׁבַעSHE/vasevenפְּעָמִיםpe/a/MIMtimesלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    And the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before the LORD:

28. 28

    וְנָתַןve/na/TANand shall putהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestמִן־הַשֶּׁמֶןmin-hash/SHE/menof the oilאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isעַל־כַּפּוֹal-kap/POin his palmעַל־תְּנוּךְal-te/NUKHupon the lobe ofאֹזֶןO/zenthe ear ofהַמִּטַּהֵרham/mit/ta/HERthe one being cleansedהַיְמָנִיתhay/ma/NITrightוְעַל־בֹּהֶןve/AL-BO/henand upon the thumb ofיָדוֹya/DOhis handהַיְמָנִיתhay/ma/NITrightוְעַל־בֹּהֶןve/AL-BO/henand upon the thumb ofרַגְלוֹrag/LOhis footהַיְמָנִיתhay/ma/NITrightעַל־מְקוֹםal-me/KOMupon the place ofדַּםdamthe blood ofהָאָשָׁם׃ha/a/SHAMthe guilt offering

    And the priest shall put of the oil that is in his hand upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the trespass offering:

29. 29

    וְהַנּוֹתָרve/han/no/TARand the restמִן־הַשֶּׁמֶןmin-hash/SHE/menof the oilאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isעַל־כַּףal-kafin the palm ofהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestיִתֵּןyit/TENhe shall putעַל־רֹאשׁal-roshupon the head ofהַמִּטַּהֵרham/mit/ta/HERthe one being cleansedלְכַפֵּרle/khap/PERto make atonementעָלָיוa/LAYVfor himלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    And the rest of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall put upon the head of him that is to be cleansed, to make an atonement for him before the LORD.

    וְעָשָׂהve/a/SAand he shall offerאֶת־הָאֶחָדet-ha/e/CHADthe oneמִן־הַתֹּרִיםmin-hat/to/RIMof the turtledovesאוֹoorמִן־בְּנֵיmin-be/NEor of the young ofהַיּוֹנָהhay/yo/NAthe pigeonמֵאֲשֶׁרme/a/SHERof such asתַּשִּׂיגtas/SIGreachesיָדוֹ׃ya/DOhis hand

    And he shall offer the one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he can get;

31. 31

    אֵת־אֲשֶׁר־תַּשִּׂיגet-a/SHER-tas/SIGsuch as reachesיָדוֹya/DOhis handאֶת־הָאֶחָדet-ha/e/CHADthe oneחַטָּאתchat/TATfor a sin offeringוְאֶת־הָאֶחָדve/ET-ha/e/CHADand the oneעֹלָהo/LAfor a burnt offeringעַל־הַמִּנְחָהal-ham/min/CHAwith the grain offeringוְכִפֶּרve/khip/PERand he shall make atonementהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestעַלalforהַמִּטַּהֵרham/mit/ta/HERthe one being cleansedלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    Even such as he is able to get, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the meat offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed before the LORD.

32. 32

    זֹאתzotthisתּוֹרַתto/RATthe law ofאֲשֶׁר־בּוֹa/SHER-boof him in whom isנֶגַעNE/gaa plagueצָרָעַתtsa/RA/atof leprosyאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoלֹא־תַשִּׂיגlo-tas/SIGcannot reachיָדוֹya/DOhis handבְּטׇהֳרָתוֹ׃be/to/ho/ra/TOin his cleansing

    This is the law of him in whom is the plague of leprosy, whose hand is not able to get that which pertaineth to his cleansing.

33. 33

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesוְאֶל־אַהֲרֹןve/EL-a/ha/RONand Aaronלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

34. 34

    כִּיkiwhenתָבֹאוּta/VO/uyou comeאֶל־אֶרֶץel-E/retsinto the land ofכְּנַעַןKe/NA/anCanaanאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאֲנִיa/NIIנֹתֵןno/TENgiveלָכֶםla/KHEMto youלַאֲחֻזָּהla/a/chuz/ZAfor a possessionוְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand I putנֶגַעNE/gaa plagueצָרַעַתtsa/RA/atof leprosyבְּבֵיתbe/VETin a house ofאֶרֶץE/retsthe land ofאֲחֻזַּתְכֶם׃a/chuz/zat/KHEMyour possession

    When ye be come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession;

35. 35

    וּבָאu/VAthen shall comeאֲשֶׁר־לוֹa/SHER-lohe who ownsהַבַּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseוְהִגִּידve/hig/GIDand he shall tellלַכֹּהֵןlak/ko/HENto the priestלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingכְּנֶגַעke/NE/gaas it were a plagueנִרְאָהnir/Ahas appearedלִיlito meבַּבָּיִת׃bab/BA/yitin the house

    And he that owneth the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, It seemeth to me there is as it were a plague in the house:

36. 36

    וְצִוָּהve/tsiv/VAand shall commandהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestוּפִנּוּu/fin/NUand they shall emptyאֶת־הַבַּיִתet-hab/BA/yitthe houseבְּטֶרֶםbe/TE/rembeforeיָבֹאya/VOgoes inהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestלִרְאוֹתlir/OTto seeאֶת־הַנֶּגַעet-han/NE/gathe plagueוְלֹאve/LOthat notיִטְמָאyit/MAbe made uncleanכׇּל־אֲשֶׁרkol-a/SHERall that isבַּבָּיִתbab/BA/yitin the houseוְאַחַרve/a/CHARand afterכֵּןkenthatיָבֹאya/VOgoes inהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestלִרְאוֹתlir/OTto seeאֶת־הַבָּיִת׃et-hab/BA/yitthe house

    Then the priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest go into it to see the plague, that all that is in the house be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house:

37. 37

    וְרָאָהve/ra/Aand shall examineאֶת־הַנֶּגַעet-han/NE/gathe plagueוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdהַנֶּגַעhan/NE/gathe plagueבְּקִירֹתbe/ki/ROTin the walls ofהַבַּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseשְׁקַעֲרוּרֹתshe/ka/a/ru/ROThollow streaksיְרַקְרַקֹּתye/rak/rak/KOTgreenishאוֹoorאֲדַמְדַּמֹּתa/dam/dam/MOTreddishוּמַרְאֵיהֶןu/mar/e/HENand their appearanceשָׁפָלsha/FALlowerמִן־הַקִּיר׃min-hak/KIRthan the wall

    And he shall look on the plague, and, behold, if the plague be in the walls of the house with hollow strakes, greenish or reddish, which in sight are lower than the wall;

38. 38

    וְיָצָאve/ya/TSAthen shall go outהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestמִן־הַבַּיִתmin-hab/BA/yitout of the houseאֶל־פֶּתַחel-PE/tachto the door ofהַבָּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseוְהִסְגִּירve/his/GIRand shall shut upאֶת־הַבַּיִתet-hab/BA/yitthe houseשִׁבְעַתshiv/ATsevenיָמִים׃ya/MIMdays

    Then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days:

39. 39

    וְשָׁבve/SHAVand shall come againהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayהַשְּׁבִיעִיhash/she/vi/Ithe seventhוְרָאָהve/ra/Aand shall examineוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdפָּשָׂהpa/SAhas spreadהַנֶּגַעhan/NE/gathe plagueבְּקִירֹתbe/ki/ROTin the walls ofהַבָּיִת׃hab/BA/yitthe house

    And the priest shall come again the seventh day, and shall look: and, behold, if the plague be spread in the walls of the house;

40. 40

    וְצִוָּהve/tsiv/VAand shall commandהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestוְחִלְּצוּve/chil/le/TSUand they shall take awayאֶת־הָאֲבָנִיםet-ha/a/va/NIMthe stonesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichבָּהֵןba/HENin themהַנָּגַעhan/NA/gathe plagueוְהִשְׁלִיכוּve/hish/LI/khuand they shall castאֶתְהֶןet/HENthemאֶל־מִחוּץel-mi/CHUTSoutsideלָעִירla/IRthe cityאֶל־מָקוֹםel-ma/KOMinto a placeטָמֵא׃ta/MEunclean

    Then the priest shall command that they take away the stones in which the plague is, and they shall cast them into an unclean place without the city:

41. 41

    וְאֶת־הַבַּיִתve/ET-hab/BA/yitand the houseיַקְצִעַyak/TSI/ahe shall cause to be scrapedמִבַּיִתmib/BA/yitwithinסָבִיבsa/VIVround aboutוְשָׁפְכוּve/sha/fe/KHUand they shall pour outאֶת־הֶעָפָרet-he/a/FARthe dustאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהִקְצוּhik/TSUthey scrape offאֶל־מִחוּץel-mi/CHUTSoutsideלָעִירla/IRthe cityאֶל־מָקוֹםel-ma/KOMinto a placeטָמֵא׃ta/MEunclean

    And he shall cause the house to be scraped within round about, and they shall pour out the dust that they scrape off without the city into an unclean place:

42. 42

    וְלָקְחוּve/la/ke/CHUand they shall takeאֲבָנִיםa/va/NIMstonesאֲחֵרוֹתa/che/ROTotherוְהֵבִיאוּve/he/VI/uand put themאֶל־תַּחַתel-TA/chatin the place ofהָאֲבָנִיםha/a/va/NIMthe stonesוְעָפָרve/a/FARand mortarאַחֵרa/CHERotherיִקַּחyik/KACHhe shall takeוְטָחve/TACHand he shall plasterאֶת־הַבָּיִת׃et-hab/BA/yitthe house

    And they shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take other morter, and shall plaister the house.

43. 43

    וְאִם־יָשׁוּבve/IM-ya/SHUVand if comes againהַנֶּגַעhan/NE/gathe plagueוּפָרַחu/fa/RACHand breaks outבַּבַּיִתbab/BA/yitin the houseאַחַרa/CHARafterחִלֵּץchil/LETShe has taken awayאֶת־הָאֲבָנִיםet-ha/a/va/NIMthe stonesוְאַחֲרֵיve/a/cha/REand afterהִקְצוֹתhik/TSOThe has scrapedאֶת־הַבַּיִתet-hab/BA/yitthe houseוְאַחֲרֵיve/a/cha/REand afterהִטּוֹחַ׃hit/TO/achit is plastered

    And if the plague come again, and break out in the house, after that he hath taken away the stones, and after he hath scraped the house, and after it is plaistered;

44. 44

    וּבָאu/VAthen shall comeהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestוְרָאָהve/ra/Aand shall examineוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdפָּשָׂהpa/SAhas spreadהַנֶּגַעhan/NE/gathe plagueבַּבָּיִתbab/BA/yitin the houseצָרַעַתtsa/RA/ata leprosyמַמְאֶרֶתmam/E/retmalignantהִואhivit isבַּבַּיִתbab/BA/yitin the houseטָמֵאta/MEuncleanהוּא׃huit is

    Then the priest shall come and look, and, behold, if the plague be spread in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house: it is unclean.

45. 45

    וְנָתַץve/na/TATSand he shall break downאֶת־הַבַּיִתet-hab/BA/yitthe houseאֶת־אֲבָנָיוet-a/va/NAYVits stonesוְאֶת־עֵצָיוve/ET-e/TSAYVand its woodוְאֵתve/ETandכׇּל־עֲפַרkol-a/FARall the dust ofהַבָּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseוְהוֹצִיאve/ho/TSIand he shall carry outאֶל־מִחוּץel-mi/CHUTSout ofלָעִירla/IRthe cityאֶל־מָקוֹםel-ma/KOMinto a placeטָמֵא׃ta/MEunclean

    And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the morter of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place.

46. 46

    וְהַבָּאve/hab/BAand he who goesאֶל־הַבַּיִתel-hab/BA/yitinto the houseכׇּל־יְמֵיkol-ye/MEall the daysהִסְגִּירhis/GIRit is shut upאֹתוֹo/TOitיִטְמָאyit/MAshall be uncleanעַד־הָעָרֶב׃ad-ha/A/revuntil the evening

    Moreover he that goeth into the house all the while that it is shut up shall be unclean until the even.

47. 47

    וְהַשֹּׁכֵבve/hash/sho/KHEVand he who liesבַּבַּיִתbab/BA/yitin the houseיְכַבֵּסye/khab/BESshall washאֶת־בְּגָדָיוet-be/ga/DAYVhis garmentsוְהָאֹכֵלve/ha/o/KHELand he who eatsבַּבַּיִתbab/BA/yitin the houseיְכַבֵּסye/khab/BESshall washאֶת־בְּגָדָיו׃et-be/ga/DAYVhis garments

    And he that lieth in the house shall wash his clothes; and he that eateth in the house shall wash his clothes.

48. 48

    וְאִם־בֹּאve/IM-boand if comeיָבֹאya/VOcomesהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestוְרָאָהve/ra/Aand shall examineוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdלֹא־פָשָׂהlo-fa/SAhas not spreadהַנֶּגַעhan/NE/gathe plagueבַּבַּיִתbab/BA/yitin the houseאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterהִטֹּחַhit/TO/achit was plasteredאֶת־הַבָּיִתet-hab/BA/yitthe houseוְטִהַרve/ti/HARand shall pronounce cleanהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestאֶת־הַבַּיִתet-hab/BA/yitthe houseכִּיkibecauseנִרְפָּאnir/PAit is healedהַנָּגַע׃han/NA/gathe plague

    And if the priest shall come in, and look upon it, and, behold, the plague hath not spread in the house, after the house was plaistered: then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.

49. 49

    וְלָקַחve/la/KACHand he shall takeלְחַטֵּאle/chat/TEto purifyאֶת־הַבַּיִתet-hab/BA/yitthe houseשְׁתֵּיshtetwoצִפֳּרִיםtsip/po/RIMbirdsוְעֵץve/ETSand wood ofאֶרֶזE/rezcedarוּשְׁנִיu/she/NIand scarletתוֹלַעַתto/LA/atcrimsonוְאֵזֹב׃ve/e/ZOVand hyssop

    And he shall take to cleanse the house two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:

50. 50

    וְשָׁחַטve/sha/CHATand he shall slaughterאֶת־הַצִּפֹּרet-hats/tsip/PORthe birdהָאֶחָתha/e/CHAToneאֶל־כְּלִי־חֶרֶשׂel-ke/LI-CHE/resinto a vessel of earthenwareעַל־מַיִםal-MA/yimover waterחַיִּים׃chay/YIMrunning

    And he shall kill the one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water:

51. 51

    וְלָקַחve/la/KACHand he shall takeאֶת־עֵץ־הָאֶרֶזet-ets-ha/E/rezthe cedar woodוְאֶת־הָאֵזֹבve/ET-ha/e/ZOVand the hyssopוְאֵתve/ETandשְׁנִיshe/NIthe scarletהַתּוֹלַעַתhat/to/LA/atcrimsonוְאֵתve/ETandהַצִּפֹּרhats/tsip/PORthe birdהַחַיָּהha/chay/YAlivingוְטָבַלve/ta/VALand he shall dipאֹתָםo/TAMthemבְּדַםbe/DAMin the blood ofהַצִּפֹּרhats/tsip/PORthe birdהַשְּׁחוּטָהhash/she/chu/TAthat was slaughteredוּבַמַּיִםu/vam/MA/yimand in the waterהַחיִּיםhach/YIMrunningוְהִזָּהve/hiz/ZAand he shall sprinkleאֶל־הַבַּיִתel-hab/BA/yitupon the houseשֶׁבַעSHE/vasevenפְּעָמִים׃pe/a/MIMtimes

    And he shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times:

52. 52

    וְחִטֵּאve/chit/TEand he shall purifyאֶת־הַבַּיִתet-hab/BA/yitthe houseבְּדַםbe/DAMwith the blood ofהַצִּפּוֹרhats/tsip/PORthe birdוּבַמַּיִםu/vam/MA/yimand with the waterהַחַיִּיםha/chay/YIMrunningוּבַצִּפֹּרu/vats/tsip/PORand with the birdהַחַיָּהha/chay/YAlivingוּבְעֵץu/ve/ETSand with the wood ofהָאֶרֶזha/E/rezthe cedarוּבָאֵזֹבu/va/e/ZOVand with the hyssopוּבִשְׁנִיu/vish/NIand with the scarletהַתּוֹלָעַת׃hat/to/LA/atcrimson

    And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet:

53. 53

    וְשִׁלַּחve/shil/LACHand he shall let looseאֶת־הַצִּפֹּרet-hats/tsip/PORthe birdהַחַיָּהha/chay/YAlivingאֶל־מִחוּץel-mi/CHUTSout ofלָעִירla/IRthe cityאֶל־פְּנֵיel-pe/NEinto the openהַשָּׂדֶהhas/sa/DEthe fieldוְכִפֶּרve/khip/PERand he shall make atonementעַל־הַבַּיִתal-hab/BA/yitfor the houseוְטָהֵר׃ve/ta/HERand it shall be clean

    But he shall let go the living bird out of the city into the open fields, and make an atonement for the house: and it shall be clean.

54. 54

    זֹאתzotthisהַתּוֹרָהhat/to/RAthe lawלְכׇל־נֶגַעle/KHOL-NE/gafor every plague ofהַצָּרַעַתhats/tsa/RA/atleprosyוְלַנָּתֶק׃ve/lan/NA/tekand for the scall

    This is the law for all manner of plague of leprosy, and scall,

55. 55

    וּלְצָרַעַתu/le/tsa/RA/atand for the leprosy ofהַבֶּגֶדhab/BE/gedthe garmentוְלַבָּיִת׃ve/lab/BA/yitand of the house

    And for the leprosy of a garment, and of a house,

56. 56

    וְלַשְׂאֵתve/las/ETand for a swellingוְלַסַּפַּחַתve/las/sap/PA/chatand for a scabוְלַבֶּהָרֶת׃ve/lab/be/HA/retand for a bright spot

    And for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot:

57. 57

    לְהוֹרֹתle/ho/ROTto teachבְּיוֹםbe/YOMwhen it isהַטָּמֵאhat/ta/MEuncleanוּבְיוֹםu/ve/YOMand when it isהַטָּהֹרhat/ta/HORcleanזֹאתzotthisתּוֹרַתto/RATthe law ofהַצָּרָעַת׃hats/tsa/RA/atthe leprosy

    To teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean: this is the law of leprosy.
