   וַיְדַבֵּרand spokeיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהto Mosesוְאֶל־אַהֲרֹןand Aaronלֵאמֹר׃saying

   And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, saying,

2. 2

   אָדָםa manכִּי־יִהְיֶהif he shall beבְעוֹר־בְּשָׂרוֹin the skin of his fleshשְׂאֵתa swellingאוֹ־סַפַּחַתor flaking skinאוֹorבַהֶרֶתa bright spotוְהָיָהand beבְעוֹר־בְּשָׂרוֹin the skin of his fleshלְנֶגַעa plague ofצָרָעַתleprosyוְהוּבָאand was broughtאֶל־אַהֲרֹןto Aaronהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאוֹorאֶל־אַחַדto oneמִבָּנָיוof his sonsהַכֹּהֲנִים׃the priests

   When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests:

   וְרָאָהand shall examineהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֶת־הַנֶּגַעthe plagueבְּעוֹר־הַבָּשָׂרin the skin of the fleshוְשֵׂעָרand the hairבַּנֶּגַעin the plagueהָפַךְit has turnedלָבָןwhiteוּמַרְאֵהand the appearance ofהַנֶּגַעthe plagueעָמֹקdeeperמֵעוֹרthan the skin ofבְּשָׂרוֹhis fleshנֶגַעa plagueצָרַעַתleprosyהוּאitוְרָאָהוּand shall examine itהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְטִמֵּאand shall pronounce uncleanאֹתוֹ׃him

   And the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: and when the hair in the plague is turned white, and the plague in sight be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy: and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.

   וְאִם־בַּהֶרֶתand if is a bright spotלְבָנָהwhiteהִואit isבְּעוֹרin the skin ofבְּשָׂרוֹhis fleshוְעָמֹקand not deeperאֵין־מַרְאֶהָis its appearanceמִן־הָעוֹרthan the skinוּשְׂעָרָהֿand hairלֹא־הָפַךְnot it has turnedלָבָןwhiteוְהִסְגִּירand he will shut upהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֶת־הַנֶּגַעthe plagueשִׁבְעַתsevenיָמִים׃days

   If the bright spot be white in the skin of his flesh, and in sight be not deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof be not turned white; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague seven days:

   וְרָאָהוּand shall examine itהַכֹּהֵןthe priestבַּיּוֹםin the dayהַשְּׁבִיעִיthe seventhוְהִנֵּהand beholdהַנֶּגַעthe plagueעָמַדstoodבְּעֵינָיוin his eyesלֹא־פָשָׂהnot it has spreadהַנֶּגַעthe plagueבָּעוֹרin the skinוְהִסְגִּירוֹand he will shut up himהַכֹּהֵןthe priestשִׁבְעַתsevenיָמִיםdaysשֵׁנִית׃again

   And the priest shall look on him the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague in his sight be at a stay, and the plague spread not in the skin; then the priest shall shut him up seven days more:

6. 6

   וְרָאָהand shall examineהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֹתוֹhimבַּיּוֹםin the dayהַשְּׁבִיעִיthe seventhשֵׁנִיתagainוְהִנֵּהand beholdכֵּהָהit has become dullהַנֶּגַעthe plagueוְלֹא־פָשָׂהand not it has spreadהַנֶּגַעthe plagueבָּעוֹרin the skinוְטִהֲרוֹand shall pronounce cleanהַכֹּהֵןthe priestמִסְפַּחַתa skin rashהִואit isוְכִבֶּסand he will washבְּגָדָיוhis garmentsוְטָהֵר׃and he shall be clean

   And the priest shall look on him again the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague be somewhat dark, and the plague spread not in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is but a scab: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

7. 7

   וְאִם־פָּשֹׂהand if indeedתִפְשֶׂהit will spreadהַמִּסְפַּחַתthe skin rashבָּעוֹרin the skinאַחֲרֵיafterהֵרָאֹתוֹhe has presented himselfאֶל־הַכֹּהֵןto the priestלְטׇהֳרָתוֹfor his cleansingוְנִרְאָהand he will present himselfשֵׁנִיתagainאֶל־הַכֹּהֵן׃to the priest

   But if the scab spread much abroad in the skin, after that he hath been seen of the priest for his cleansing, he shall be seen of the priest again:

8. 8

   וְרָאָהand shall examineהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְהִנֵּהand beholdפָּשְׂתָהit has spreadהַמִּסְפַּחַתthe skin rashבָּעוֹרin the skinוְטִמְּאוֹand he will declare unclean himהַכֹּהֵןthe priestצָרַעַתleprosyהִוא׃it is

   And if the priest see that, behold, the scab spreadeth in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a leprosy.

   נֶגַעa plagueצָרַעַתleprosyכִּיwhenתִהְיֶהbeבְּאָדָםin a manוְהוּבָאand was broughtאֶל־הַכֹּהֵן׃to the priest

   When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought unto the priest;

10. 10

    וְרָאָהand shall examineהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְהִנֵּהand beholdשְׂאֵת־לְבָנָהa swelling whiteבָּעוֹרin the skinוְהִיאand itהָפְכָהit has turnedשֵׂעָרhairלָבָןwhiteוּמִחְיַתand a raw spot ofבָּשָׂרthe fleshחַיlivingבַּשְׂאֵת׃in the swelling

    And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the rising be white in the skin, and it have turned the hair white, and there be quick raw flesh in the rising;

11. 11

    צָרַעַתleprosyנוֹשֶׁנֶתgrown oldהִואit isבְּעוֹרin the skin ofבְּשָׂרוֹhis fleshוְטִמְּאוֹand he will declare unclean himהַכֹּהֵןthe priestלֹאnotיַסְגִּרֶנּוּhe will shut up himכִּיforטָמֵאuncleanהוּא׃it

    It is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean, and shall not shut him up: for he is unclean.

12. 12

    וְאִם־פָּרוֹחַand if indeedתִּפְרַחit will break outהַצָּרַעַתthe leprosyבָּעוֹרin the skinוְכִסְּתָהand it will coverהַצָּרַעַתthe leprosyאֵת־כׇּל־עוֹרall the skin ofהַנֶּגַעthe plagueמֵרֹאשׁוֹfrom his headוְעַד־רַגְלָיוand unto his feetלְכׇל־מַרְאֵהto all the appearance ofעֵינֵיthe eyes ofהַכֹּהֵן׃the priest

    And if a leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of him that hath the plague from his head even to his foot, wheresoever the priest looketh;

13. 13

    וְרָאָהand shall examineהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְהִנֵּהand beholdכִסְּתָהit has coveredהַצָּרַעַתthe leprosyאֶת־כׇּל־בְּשָׂרוֹall his fleshוְטִהַרand he shall purifyאֶת־הַנָּגַעthe plagueכֻּלּוֹentirelyהָפַךְit has turnedלָבָןwhiteטָהוֹרcleanהוּא׃it

    Then the priest shall consider: and, behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: it is all turned white: he is clean.

14. 14

    וּבְיוֹםand in the day ofהֵרָאוֹתappearingבּוֹin itבָּשָׂרthe fleshחַיlivingיִטְמָא׃he shall be unclean

    But when raw flesh appeareth in him, he shall be unclean.

15. 15

    וְרָאָהand shall examineהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֶת־הַבָּשָׂרthe fleshהַחַיthe livingוְטִמְּאוֹand he will declare unclean himהַבָּשָׂרthe fleshהַחַיthe livingטָמֵאuncleanהוּאitצָרַעַתleprosyהוּא׃it

    And the priest shall see the raw flesh, and pronounce him to be unclean: for the raw flesh is unclean: it is a leprosy.

16. 16

    אוֹorכִיthatיָשׁוּבturns backהַבָּשָׂרthe fleshהַחַיthe livingוְנֶהְפַּךְand it will be turnedלְלָבָןto whiteוּבָאand comeאֶל־הַכֹּהֵן׃to the priest

    Or if the raw flesh turn again, and be changed unto white, he shall come unto the priest;

17. 17

    וְרָאָהוּand shall examine itהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְהִנֵּהand beholdנֶהְפַּךְit was changedהַנֶּגַעthe plagueלְלָבָןto whiteוְטִהַרand he shall purifyהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֶת־הַנֶּגַעthe plagueטָהוֹרcleanהוּא׃it

    And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the plague be turned into white; then the priest shall pronounce him clean that hath the plague: he is clean.

18. 18

    וּבָשָׂרand fleshכִּי־יִהְיֶהif he shall beבוֹ־בְעֹרוֹin its Him on skinשְׁחִיןboilsוְנִרְפָּא׃and be healed

    The flesh also, in which, even in the skin thereof, was a boil, and is healed,

19. 19

    וְהָיָהand beבִּמְקוֹםat the place ofהַשְּׁחִיןthe boilsשְׂאֵתa swellingלְבָנָהwhiteאוֹorבַהֶרֶתa bright spotלְבָנָהwhiteאֲדַמְדָּמֶתreddishוְנִרְאָהand he will present himselfאֶל־הַכֹּהֵן׃to the priest

    And in the place of the boil there be a white rising, or a bright spot, white, and somewhat reddish, and it be shewed to the priest;

20. 20

    וְרָאָהand shall examineהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְהִנֵּהand beholdמַרְאֶהָits appearanceשָׁפָלlowerמִן־הָעוֹרthan the skinוּשְׂעָרָהּand its hairהָפַךְit has turnedלָבָןwhiteוְטִמְּאוֹand he will declare unclean himהַכֹּהֵןthe priestנֶגַע־צָרַעַתa plague of leprosyהִואit isבַּשְּׁחִיןin the boilפָּרָחָה׃it has broken out

    And if, when the priest seeth it, behold, it be in sight lower than the skin, and the hair thereof be turned white; the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague of leprosy broken out of the boil.

21. 21

    וְאִםand ifיִרְאֶנָּהhe shall examine itהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְהִנֵּהand beholdאֵין־בָּהּthere is not in itשֵׂעָרhairלָבָןwhiteוּשְׁפָלָהֿand lowerאֵינֶנָּהis notמִן־הָעוֹרthan the skinוְהִיאand itכֵהָהis dullוְהִסְגִּירוֹand he will shut up himהַכֹּהֵןthe priestשִׁבְעַתsevenיָמִים׃days

    But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hairs therein, and if it be not lower than the skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:

22. 22

    וְאִם־פָּשֹׂהand if indeedתִפְשֶׂהit will spreadבָּעוֹרin the skinוְטִמֵּאand shall pronounce uncleanהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֹתוֹhimנֶגַעa plagueהִוא׃it is

    And if it spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague.

23. 23

    וְאִם־תַּחְתֶּיהָand if in its placeתַּעֲמֹדshall standהַבַּהֶרֶתthe bright spotלֹאnotפָשָׂתָהit has spreadצָרֶבֶתthe scar ofהַשְּׁחִיןthe boilsהִואit isוְטִהֲרוֹand shall pronounce cleanהַכֹּהֵן׃the priest

    But if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not, it is a burning boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

24. 24

    אוֹorבָשָׂרfleshכִּי־יִהְיֶהif he shall beבְעֹרוֹon its skinמִכְוַת־אֵשׁa burn of fireוְהָיְתָהand it beמִחְיַתthe raw spot ofהַמִּכְוָהthe burnבַּהֶרֶתa bright spotלְבָנָהwhiteאֲדַמְדֶּמֶתreddishאוֹorלְבָנָה׃white

    Or if there be any flesh, in the skin whereof there is a hot burning, and the quick flesh that burneth have a white bright spot, somewhat reddish, or white;

25. 25

    וְרָאָהand shall examineאֹתָהּitהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְהִנֵּהand beholdנֶהְפַּךְit was changedשֵׂעָרhairלָבָןwhiteבַּבַּהֶרֶתin the bright spotוּמַרְאֶהָand its appearanceעָמֹקdeeperמִן־הָעוֹרthan the skinצָרַעַתleprosyהִואit isבַּמִּכְוָהin the burnפָּרָחָהit has broken outוְטִמֵּאand shall pronounce uncleanאֹתוֹhimהַכֹּהֵןthe priestנֶגַעa plagueצָרַעַתleprosyהִוא׃it is

    Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and it be in sight deeper than the skin; it is a leprosy broken out of the burning: wherefore the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.

26. 26

    וְאִםand ifיִרְאֶנָּהhe shall examine itהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְהִנֵּהand beholdאֵין־בַּבַּהֶרֶתthere is not in the bright spotשֵׂעָרhairלָבָןwhiteוּשְׁפָלָהֿand lowerאֵינֶנָּהis notמִן־הָעוֹרthan the skinוְהִואand itכֵהָהis dullוְהִסְגִּירוֹand he will shut up himהַכֹּהֵןthe priestשִׁבְעַתsevenיָמִים׃days

    But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no lower than the other skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:

27. 27

    וְרָאָהוּand shall examine itהַכֹּהֵןthe priestבַּיּוֹםin the dayהַשְּׁבִיעִיthe seventhאִם־פָּשֹׂהif indeedתִפְשֶׂהit will spreadבָּעוֹרin the skinוְטִמֵּאand shall pronounce uncleanהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֹתוֹhimנֶגַעa plagueצָרַעַתleprosyהִוא׃it is

    And the priest shall look upon him the seventh day: and if it be spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.

28. 28

    וְאִם־תַּחְתֶּיהָand if in its placeתַעֲמֹדstandsהַבַּהֶרֶתthe bright spotלֹא־פָשְׂתָהnot it has spreadבָעוֹרin the skinוְהִואand itכֵהָהis dullשְׂאֵתa swellingהַמִּכְוָהthe burnהִואit isוְטִהֲרוֹand shall pronounce cleanהַכֹּהֵןthe priestכִּי־צָרֶבֶתbecause the scar ofהַמִּכְוָהthe burnהִוא׃it is

    And if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not in the skin, but it be somewhat dark; it is a rising of the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him clean: for it is an inflammation of the burning.

29. 29

    וְאִישׁand a manאוֹorאִשָּׁהa womanכִּי־יִהְיֶהif he shall beבוֹin itנָגַעa plagueבְּרֹאשׁupon the headאוֹorבְזָקָן׃in the beard

    If a man or woman have a plague upon the head or the beard;

30. 30

    וְרָאָהand shall examineהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֶת־הַנֶּגַעthe plagueוְהִנֵּהand beholdמַרְאֵהוּits appearanceעָמֹקdeeperמִן־הָעוֹרthan the skinוּבוֹand in itשֵׂעָרhairצָהֹבyellowדָּקthinוְטִמֵּאand shall pronounce uncleanאֹתוֹhimהַכֹּהֵןthe priestנֶתֶקa scallהוּאitצָרַעַתleprosyהָרֹאשׁof the headאוֹorהַזָּקָןthe beardהוּא׃it

    Then the priest shall see the plague: and, behold, if it be in sight deeper than the skin; and there be in it a yellow thin hair; then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a dry scall, even a leprosy upon the head or beard.

31. 31

    וְכִי־יִרְאֶהand when examinesהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֶת־נֶגַעa plagueהַנֶּתֶקthe scallוְהִנֵּהand beholdאֵין־מַרְאֵהוּis its appearanceעָמֹקnot deeperמִן־הָעוֹרthan the skinוְשֵׂעָרand the hairשָׁחֹרblackאֵיןthere is notבּוֹin itוְהִסְגִּירand he will shut upהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֶת־נֶגַעa plagueהַנֶּתֶקthe scallשִׁבְעַתsevenיָמִים׃days

    And if the priest look on the plague of the scall, and, behold, it be not in sight deeper than the skin, and that there is no black hair in it; then the priest shall shut up him that hath the plague of the scall seven days:

32. 32

    וְרָאָהand shall examineהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֶת־הַנֶּגַעthe plagueבַּיּוֹםin the dayהַשְּׁבִיעִיthe seventhוְהִנֵּהand beholdלֹא־פָשָׂהnot it has spreadהַנֶּתֶקthe scallוְלֹא־הָיָהand not wasבוֹin itשֵׂעָרhairצָהֹבyellowוּמַרְאֵהand the appearance ofהַנֶּתֶקthe scallאֵיןis notעָמֹקdeeperמִן־הָעוֹר׃than the skin

    And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the plague: and, behold, if the scall spread not, and there be in it no yellow hair, and the scall be not in sight deeper than the skin;

33. 33

    וְהִתְגַּלָּחand he will shave himselfוְאֶת־הַנֶּתֶקand the scallלֹאnotיְגַלֵּחַhe will shaveוְהִסְגִּירand he will shut upהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֶת־הַנֶּתֶקthe scallשִׁבְעַתsevenיָמִיםdaysשֵׁנִית׃again

    He shall be shaven, but the scall shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that hath the scall seven days more:

34. 34

    וְרָאָהand shall examineהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֶת־הַנֶּתֶקthe scallבַּיּוֹםin the dayהַשְּׁבִיעִיthe seventhוְהִנֵּהand beholdלֹא־פָשָׂהnot it has spreadהַנֶּתֶקthe scallבָּעוֹרin the skinוּמַרְאֵהוּand its appearanceאֵינֶנּוּis notעָמֹקdeeperמִן־הָעוֹרthan the skinוְטִהַרand he shall purifyאֹתוֹhimהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְכִבֶּסand he will washבְּגָדָיוhis garmentsוְטָהֵר׃and he shall be clean

    And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scall: and, behold, if the scall be not spread in the skin, nor be in sight deeper than the skin; then the priest shall pronounce him clean: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.

35. 35

    וְאִם־פָּשֹׂהand if indeedיִפְשֶׂהit will spreadהַנֶּתֶקthe scallבָּעוֹרin the skinאַחֲרֵיafterטׇהֳרָתוֹ׃his cleansing

    But if the scall spread much in the skin after his cleansing;

36. 36

    וְרָאָהוּand shall examine itהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְהִנֵּהand beholdפָּשָׂהit has spreadהַנֶּתֶקthe scallבָּעוֹרin the skinלֹא־יְבַקֵּרnot he shall look forהַכֹּהֵןthe priestלַשֵּׂעָרfor the hairהַצָּהֹבthe yellowטָמֵאuncleanהוּא׃it

    Then the priest shall look on him: and, behold, if the scall be spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for yellow hair; he is unclean.

37. 37

    וְאִם־בְּעֵינָיוand if in his eyesעָמַדstoodהַנֶּתֶקthe scallוְשֵׂעָרand the hairשָׁחֹרblackצָמַח־בּוֹhas grown in itנִרְפָּאit is healedהַנֶּתֶקthe scallטָהוֹרcleanהוּאitוְטִהֲרוֹand shall pronounce cleanהַכֹּהֵן׃the priest

    But if the scall be in his sight at a stay, and that there is black hair grown up therein; the scall is healed, he is clean: and the priest shall pronounce him clean.

38. 38

    וְאִישׁand a manאוֹ־אִשָּׁהor a womanכִּי־יִהְיֶהif he shall beבְעוֹר־בְּשָׂרָםon the skin of their fleshבֶּהָרֹתbright spotsבֶּהָרֹתbright spotsלְבָנֹת׃white

    If a man also or a woman have in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;

39. 39

    וְרָאָהand shall examineהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְהִנֵּהand beholdבְעוֹר־בְּשָׂרָםon the skin of their fleshבֶּהָרֹתbright spotsכֵּהוֹתdullלְבָנֹתwhiteבֹּהַקa harmless rashהוּאitפָּרַחit has broken outבָּעוֹרin the skinטָהוֹרcleanהוּא׃it

    Then the priest shall look: and, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh be darkish white; it is a freckled spot that groweth in the skin; he is clean.

40. 40

    וְאִישׁand a manכִּיifיִמָּרֵטit will become bareרֹאשׁוֹhis headקֵרֵחַbaldהוּאitטָהוֹרcleanהוּא׃it

    And the man whose hair is fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.

41. 41

    וְאִםand ifמִפְּאַתfrom the corner ofפָּנָיוhis faceיִמָּרֵטit will become bareרֹאשׁוֹhis headגִּבֵּחַbald in frontהוּאitטָהוֹרcleanהוּא׃it

    And he that hath his hair fallen off from the part of his head toward his face, he is forehead bald: yet is he clean.

42. 42

    וְכִי־יִהְיֶהand if he shall beבַקָּרַחַתon the bald spotאוֹorבַגַּבַּחַתon the bald foreheadנֶגַעa plagueלָבָןwhiteאֲדַמְדָּםreddishצָרַעַתleprosyפֹּרַחַתwhich is breaking outהִואit isבְּקָרַחְתּוֹon his bald spotאוֹorבְגַבַּחְתּוֹ׃on his bald forehead

    And if there be in the bald head, or bald forehead, a white reddish sore; it is a leprosy sprung up in his bald head, or his bald forehead.

43. 43

    וְרָאָהand shall examineאֹתוֹhimהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְהִנֵּהand beholdשְׂאֵת־הַנֶּגַעthe swelling of the plagueלְבָנָהwhiteאֲדַמְדֶּמֶתreddishבְּקָרַחְתּוֹon his bald spotאוֹorבְגַבַּחְתּוֹon his bald foreheadכְּמַרְאֵהas the appearance ofצָרַעַתleprosyעוֹרa skin ofבָּשָׂר׃the flesh

    Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the rising of the sore be white reddish in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the leprosy appeareth in the skin of the flesh;

44. 44

    אִישׁ־צָרוּעַa leprous manהוּאitטָמֵאuncleanהוּאitטַמֵּאsurelyיְטַמְּאֶנּוּhe will declare unclean himהַכֹּהֵןthe priestבְּרֹאשׁוֹon his headנִגְעוֹ׃his plague

    He is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague is in his head.

    וְהַצָּרוּעַand the leperאֲשֶׁר־בּוֹin whichהַנֶּגַעthe plagueבְּגָדָיוhis garmentsיִהְיוּshall beפְרֻמִיםtornוְרֹאשׁוֹand his headיִהְיֶהshall beפָרוּעַlet looseוְעַל־שָׂפָםand upon a moustacheיַעְטֶהhe will coverוְטָמֵאand he shall be uncleanטָמֵאuncleanיִקְרָא׃he shall call

    And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.

46. 46

    כׇּל־יְמֵיall days ofאֲשֶׁרwhichהַנֶּגַעthe plagueבּוֹin itיִטְמָאhe shall be uncleanטָמֵאuncleanהוּאitבָּדָדaloneיֵשֵׁבhe shall dwellמִחוּץwithoutלַמַּחֲנֶהthe campמוֹשָׁבוֹ׃his dwelling

    All the days wherein the plague shall be in him he shall be defiled; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his habitation be.

47. 47

    וְהַבֶּגֶדand the garmentכִּי־יִהְיֶהif he shall beבוֹin itנֶגַעa plagueצָרָעַתleprosyבְּבֶגֶדin garmentצֶמֶרwoolאוֹorבְּבֶגֶדin garmentפִּשְׁתִּים׃flax

    The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it be a woollen garment, or a linen garment;

48. 48

    אוֹorבִשְׁתִיin warpאוֹorבְעֵרֶבin woofלַפִּשְׁתִּיםof the linenוְלַצָּמֶרand of the woolאוֹorבְעוֹרon the skin ofאוֹorבְּכׇל־מְלֶאכֶתin all work ofעוֹר׃a skin of

    Whether it be in the warp, or woof; of linen, or of woollen; whether in a skin, or in any thing made of skin;

49. 49

    וְהָיָהand beהַנֶּגַעthe plagueיְרַקְרַקgreenishאוֹorאֲדַמְדָּםreddishבַּבֶּגֶדin the garmentאוֹorבָעוֹרin the skinאוֹ־בַשְּׁתִיor in the warpאוֹ־בָעֵרֶבor in the woofאוֹorבְכׇל־כְּלִי־עוֹרin any article of skinנֶגַעa plagueצָרַעַתleprosyהוּאitוְהׇרְאָהand it shall be shownאֶת־הַכֹּהֵן׃the priest

    And if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a plague of leprosy, and shall be shewed unto the priest:

50. 50

    וְרָאָהand shall examineהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאֶת־הַנָּגַעthe plagueוְהִסְגִּירand he will shut upאֶת־הַנֶּגַעthe plagueשִׁבְעַתsevenיָמִים׃days

    And the priest shall look upon the plague, and shut up it that hath the plague seven days:

51. 51

    וְרָאָהand shall examineאֶת־הַנֶּגַעthe plagueבַּיּוֹםin the dayהַשְּׁבִיעִיthe seventhכִּי־פָשָׂהbecause it has spreadהַנֶּגַעthe plagueבַּבֶּגֶדin the garmentאוֹ־בַשְּׁתִיor in the warpאוֹ־בָעֵרֶבor in the woofאוֹorבָעוֹרin the skinלְכֹלfor allאֲשֶׁר־יֵעָשֶׂהwhich shall be doneהָעוֹרthe skinלִמְלָאכָהfor workצָרַעַתleprosyמַמְאֶרֶתmalignantהַנֶּגַעthe plagueטָמֵאuncleanהוּא׃it

    And he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in a skin, or in any work that is made of skin; the plague is a fretting leprosy; it is unclean.

52. 52

    וְשָׂרַףand he will burnאֶת־הַבֶּגֶדthe garmentאוֹorאֶת־הַשְּׁתִיthe warpאוֹorאֶת־הָעֵרֶבthe woofבַּצֶּמֶרin the woolאוֹorבַפִּשְׁתִּיםin the linenאוֹorאֶת־כׇּל־כְּלִיany article ofהָעוֹרthe skinאֲשֶׁר־יִהְיֶהwhich he shall beבוֹin itהַנָּגַעthe plagueכִּי־צָרַעַתbecause a leprosyמַמְאֶרֶתmalignantהִואit isבָּאֵשׁby fireתִּשָּׂרֵף׃it will be burned

    He shall therefore burn that garment, whether warp or woof, in woollen or in linen, or any thing of skin, wherein the plague is: for it is a fretting leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire.

53. 53

    וְאִםand ifיִרְאֶהshall examineהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְהִנֵּהand beholdלֹא־פָשָׂהnot it has spreadהַנֶּגַעthe plagueבַּבֶּגֶדin the garmentאוֹorבַשְּׁתִיin the warpאוֹorבָעֵרֶבin the woofאוֹorבְּכׇל־כְּלִי־עוֹר׃in any article of skin

    And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague be not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin;

54. 54

    וְצִוָּהand shall commandהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְכִבְּסוּand they will washאֵת־אֲשֶׁר־בּוֹin whichהַנָּגַעthe plagueוְהִסְגִּירוֹand he will shut up himשִׁבְעַת־יָמִיםseven of daysשֵׁנִית׃again

    Then the priest shall command that they wash the thing wherein the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more:

55. 55

    וְרָאָהand shall examineהַכֹּהֵןthe priestאַחֲרֵיafterהֻכַּבֵּסwas washed outאֶת־הַנֶּגַעthe plagueוְהִנֵּהand beholdלֹא־הָפַךְnot it has turnedהַנֶּגַעthe plagueאֶת־עֵינוֹits appearanceוְהַנֶּגַעand the plagueלֹא־פָשָׂהnot it has spreadטָמֵאuncleanהוּאitבָּאֵשׁby fireתִּשְׂרְפֶנּוּyou shall burn itפְּחֶתֶתa mildewהִואit isבְּקָרַחְתּוֹon his bald spotאוֹorבְגַבַּחְתּוֹ׃on his bald forehead

    And the priest shall look on the plague, after that it is washed: and, behold, if the plague have not changed his colour, and the plague be not spread; it is unclean; thou shalt burn it in the fire; it is fret inward, whether it be bare within or without.

56. 56

    וְאִםand ifרָאָהexaminedהַכֹּהֵןthe priestוְהִנֵּהand beholdכֵּהָהit has become dullהַנֶּגַעthe plagueאַחֲרֵיafterהֻכַּבֵּסwas washed outאֹתוֹhimוְקָרַעand he will tearאֹתוֹhimמִן־הַבֶּגֶדfrom the garmentאוֹorמִן־הָעוֹרfrom the skinאוֹorמִן־הַשְּׁתִיfrom the warpאוֹorמִן־הָעֵרֶב׃from the woof

    And if the priest look, and, behold, the plague be somewhat dark after the washing of it; then he shall rend it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof:

57. 57

    וְאִם־תֵּרָאֶהand if it shall be seenעוֹדany moreבַּבֶּגֶדin the garmentאוֹ־בַשְּׁתִיor in the warpאוֹ־בָעֵרֶבor in the woofאוֹorבְכׇל־כְּלִי־עוֹרin any article of skinפֹּרַחַתwhich is breaking outהִואit isבָּאֵשׁby fireתִּשְׂרְפֶנּוּyou shall burn itאֵת־אֲשֶׁר־בּוֹin whichהַנָּגַע׃the plague

    And if it appear still in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a spreading plague: thou shalt burn that wherein the plague is with fire.

58. 58

    וְהַבֶּגֶדand the garmentאוֹ־הַשְּׁתִיor the warpאוֹ־הָעֵרֶבor the woofאוֹ־כׇל־כְּלִיor all the vesselהָעוֹרthe skinאֲשֶׁרwhichתְּכַבֵּסyou will washוְסָרand departsמֵהֶםof themהַנָּגַעthe plagueוְכֻבַּסand it will be washedשֵׁנִיתagainוְטָהֵר׃and it shall be clean

    And the garment, either warp, or woof, or whatsoever thing of skin it be, which thou shalt wash, if the plague be departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and shall be clean.

59. 59

    זֹאתthisתּוֹרַתthe law ofנֶגַע־צָרַעַתa plague of leprosyבֶּגֶדgarmentהַצֶּמֶרthe woolאוֹorהַפִּשְׁתִּיםof the linenאוֹorהַשְּׁתִיthe warpאוֹorהָעֵרֶבthe woofאוֹorכׇּל־כְּלִי־עוֹרany article of skinלְטַהֲרוֹto pronounce it cleanאוֹorלְטַמְּאוֹ׃to pronounce it unclean

    This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of woollen or linen, either in the warp, or woof, or any thing of skins, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.
