Leviticus 10 וַיִּקְרָא פרק י׳

   וַיִּקְחוּvay/yik/CHUand they tookבְנֵי־אַהֲרֹןve/NE-a/ha/RONthe sons of AaronנָדָבNa/DAVNadabוַאֲבִיהוּאva/A/vi/HUand Abihuאִישׁisheachמַחְתָּתוֹmach/ta/TOhis censerוַיִּתְּנוּvay/yit/te/NUand putבָהֵןva/HENin themאֵשׁeshfireוַיָּשִׂימוּvay/ya/SI/muand they putעָלֶיהָa/LE/haon itקְטֹרֶתke/TO/retincenseוַיַּקְרִיבוּvay/yak/RI/vuand offeredלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֵשׁeshfireזָרָהza/RAstrangeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichלֹאlonotצִוָּהtsiv/VAhe had commandedאֹתָם׃o/TAMthem

   And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.

   וַתֵּצֵאvat/te/TSEand went outאֵשׁeshfireמִלִּפְנֵיmil/lif/NEfrom beforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוַתֹּאכַלvat/TO/khaland consumedאוֹתָםo/TAMthemוַיָּמֻתוּvay/ya/MU/tuand they diedלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

   And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאֶל־אַהֲרֹןel-A/ha/RONto Aaronהוּאhuthis isאֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּרa/SHER-dib/BERwhat spokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingבִּקְרֹבַיbik/ro/VAYin those who come near meאֶקָּדֵשׁek/ka/DESHI will be sanctifiedוְעַל־פְּנֵיve/AL-pe/NEand beforeכׇל־הָעָםkhol-ha/AMall the peopleאֶכָּבֵדek/ka/VEDI will be glorifiedוַיִּדֹּםvay/yid/DOMand was silentאַהֲרֹן׃A/ha/RONAaron

   Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.

   וַיִּקְרָאvay/yik/RAand calledמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאֶל־מִישָׁאֵלel-Mi/sha/ELto Mishaelוְאֶלve/ELand toאֶלְצָפָןEl/tsa/FANElzaphanבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofעֻזִּיאֵלUz/zi/ELUzzielדֹּדdodthe uncle ofאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONAaronוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵהֶםa/le/HEMto themקִרְבוּkir/VUcome nearשְׂאוּse/Ucarryאֶת־אֲחֵיכֶםet-a/che/KHEMyour brethrenמֵאֵתme/ETfromפְּנֵי־הַקֹּדֶשׁpe/NE-hak/KO/deshbefore the sanctuaryאֶל־מִחוּץel-mi/CHUTSout ofלַמַּחֲנֶה׃lam/ma/cha/NEthe camp

   And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, and said unto them, Come near, carry your brethren from before the sanctuary out of the camp.

   וַיִּקְרְבוּvay/yik/re/VUso they came nearוַיִּשָּׂאֻםvay/yis/sa/UMand they carried themבְּכֻתֳּנֹתָםbe/khut/to/no/TAMin their coatsאֶל־מִחוּץel-mi/CHUTSout ofלַמַּחֲנֶהlam/ma/cha/NEthe campכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasדִּבֶּרdib/BERspokeמֹשֶׁה׃Mo/SHEMoses

   So they went near, and carried them in their coats out of the camp; as Moses had said.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאֶל־אַהֲרֹןel-A/ha/RONto Aaronוּלְאֶלְעָזָרu/Le/el/a/ZARand to Eleazarוּלְאִיתָמָרu/Le/i/ta/MARand to Ithamarבָּנָיוba/NAYVhis sonsרָאשֵׁיכֶםra/she/KHEMyour headsאַל־תִּפְרָעוּal-tif/RA/udo not let looseוּבִגְדֵיכֶםu/vig/de/KHEMand your garmentsלֹא־תִפְרֹמוּlo-tif/RO/muyou shall not tearוְלֹאve/LOlestתָמֻתוּta/MU/tuyou dieוְעַלve/ALand onכׇּל־הָעֵדָהkol-ha/e/DAall the congregationיִקְצֹףyik/TSOFhe be angryוַאֲחֵיכֶםva/a/che/KHEMand your brethrenכׇּל־בֵּיתkol-betall the house ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelיִבְכּוּyiv/KUshall bewailאֶת־הַשְּׂרֵפָהet-has/se/re/FAthe burningאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichשָׂרַףsa/RAFhas kindledיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

   And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither rend your clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon all the people: but let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the LORD hath kindled.

   וּמִפֶּתַחu/mip/PE/tachand from the door ofאֹהֶלO/helthe tent ofמוֹעֵדmo/EDmeetingלֹאlonotתֵצְאוּtets/Uyou shall go outפֶּן־תָּמֻתוּpen-ta/MU/tulest you dieכִּי־שֶׁמֶןki-SHE/menfor the oil ofמִשְׁחַתmish/CHATanointing ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMis upon youוַיַּעֲשׂוּvay/ya/a/SUand they didכִּדְבַרkid/VARaccording to the word ofמֹשֶׁה׃Mo/SHEMoses

   And ye shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: for the anointing oil of the LORD is upon you. And they did according to the word of Moses.

8. 8

   וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־אַהֲרֹןel-A/ha/RONto Aaronלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

   And the LORD spake unto Aaron, saying,

9. 9

   יַיִןYA/yinwineוְשֵׁכָרve/she/KHARand strong drinkאַל־תֵּשְׁתְּal-teshtdo not drinkאַתָּהat/TAyouוּבָנֶיךָu/va/NE/khaand your sonsאִתָּךְit/TAKHwith youבְּבֹאֲכֶםbe/vo/a/KHEMwhen you goאֶל־אֹהֶלel-O/helinto the tent ofמוֹעֵדmo/EDmeetingוְלֹאve/LOlestתָמֻתוּta/MU/tuyou dieחֻקַּתchuk/KATa statuteעוֹלָםo/LAMfor everלְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם׃le/do/ro/te/KHEMfor your generations

   Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations:

    וּלְהַבְדִּילu/le/hav/DILand to distinguishבֵּיןbenbetweenהַקֹּדֶשׁhak/KO/deshthe holyוּבֵיןu/VENand betweenהַחֹלha/CHOLthe commonוּבֵיןu/VENand betweenהַטָּמֵאhat/ta/MEthe uncleanוּבֵיןu/VENand betweenהַטָּהוֹר׃hat/ta/HORthe clean

    And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;

11. 11

    וּלְהוֹרֹתu/le/ho/ROTand to teachאֶת־בְּנֵיet-be/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאֵת־כׇּל־הַחֻקִּיםet-kol-ha/chuk/KIMall the statutesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichדִּבֶּרdib/BERhas spokenיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themבְּיַד־מֹשֶׁה׃be/YAD-mo/SHEby the hand of Moses

    And that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moses.

12. 12

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאֶל־אַהֲרֹןel-A/ha/RONto Aaronוְאֶלve/ELand toאֶלְעָזָרEl/a/ZAREleazarוְאֶל־אִיתָמָרve/EL-i/ta/MARand to Ithamarבָּנָיוba/NAYVhis sonsהַנּוֹתָרִיםhan/no/ta/RIMwho were leftקְחוּke/CHUtakeאֶת־הַמִּנְחָהet-ham/min/CHAthe grain offeringהַנּוֹתֶרֶתhan/no/TE/retthat remainsמֵאִשֵּׁיme/ish/SHEof the offerings by fire ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוְאִכְלוּהָve/ikh/LU/haand eat itמַצּוֹתmats/TSOTunleavenedאֵצֶלE/tselbesideהַמִּזְבֵּחַham/miz/BE/achthe altarכִּיkiforקֹדֶשׁKO/deshholy ofקׇדָשִׁיםko/da/SHIMholiesהִוא׃hivit is

    And Moses spake unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons that were left, Take the meat offering that remaineth of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and eat it without leaven beside the altar: for it is most holy:

13. 13

    וַאֲכַלְתֶּםva/a/khal/TEMand you shall eatאֹתָהּo/TAitבְּמָקוֹםbe/ma/KOMin a placeקָדוֹשׁka/DOSHholyכִּיkibecauseחׇקְךָchok/KHAyour dueוְחׇק־בָּנֶיךָve/CHOK-ba/NE/khaand your sons' dueהִואhivit isמֵאִשֵּׁיme/ish/SHEof the offerings by fire ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDכִּי־כֵןki-khenfor soצֻוֵּיתִי׃tsuv/VE/tiI am commanded

    And ye shall eat it in the holy place, because it is thy due, and thy sons' due, of the sacrifices of the LORD made by fire: for so I am commanded.

14. 14

    וְאֵתve/ETandחֲזֵהcha/ZEthe breast ofהַתְּנוּפָהhat/te/nu/FAthe wave offeringוְאֵתve/ETandשׁוֹקshokthe thigh ofהַתְּרוּמָהhat/te/ru/MAthe heave offeringתֹּאכְלוּto/khe/LUyou shall eatבְּמָקוֹםbe/ma/KOMin a placeטָהוֹרta/HORcleanאַתָּהat/TAyouוּבָנֶיךָu/va/NE/khaand your sonsוּבְנֹתֶיךָu/ve/no/TE/khaand your daughtersאִתָּךְit/TAKHwith youכִּי־חׇקְךָki-chok/KHAfor your dueוְחׇק־בָּנֶיךָve/CHOK-ba/NE/khaand your sons' dueנִתְּנוּnit/te/NUthey are givenמִזִּבְחֵיmiz/ziv/CHEof the sacrifices ofשַׁלְמֵיshal/MEthe peace offerings ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

    And the wave breast and heave shoulder shall ye eat in a clean place; thou, and thy sons, and thy daughters with thee: for they be thy due, and thy sons' due, which are given out of the sacrifices of peace offerings of the children of Israel.

    שׁוֹקshokthe thigh ofהַתְּרוּמָהhat/te/ru/MAthe heave offeringוַחֲזֵהva/cha/ZEand the breast ofהַתְּנוּפָהhat/te/nu/FAthe wave offeringעַלalwithאִשֵּׁיish/SHEthe offerings by fire ofהַחֲלָבִיםha/cha/la/VIMthe fat portionsיָבִיאוּya/VI/uthey shall bringלְהָנִיףle/ha/NIFto waveתְּנוּפָהte/nu/FAas a wave offeringלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beלְךָle/KHAfor youוּלְבָנֶיךָu/le/va/NE/khaand for your sonsאִתְּךָit/te/KHAwith youלְחׇק־עוֹלָםle/CHOK-o/LAMby a statute for everכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasצִוָּהtsiv/VAcommandedיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    The heave shoulder and the wave breast shall they bring with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to wave it for a wave offering before the LORD; and it shall be thine, and thy sons' with thee, by a statute for ever; as the LORD hath commanded.

16. 16

    וְאֵתve/ETandשְׂעִירse/IRthe goat ofהַחַטָּאתha/chat/TATthe sin offeringדָּרֹשׁda/ROSHseekדָּרַשׁda/RASHsoughtמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdשֹׂרָףso/RAFit was burnedוַיִּקְצֹףvay/yik/TSOFand he was angryעַל־אֶלְעָזָרal-El/a/ZARwith Eleazarוְעַל־אִיתָמָרve/AL-i/ta/MARand with Ithamarבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONAaronהַנּוֹתָרִםhan/no/ta/RIMwho were leftלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    And Moses diligently sought the goat of the sin offering, and, behold, it was burnt: and he was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron which were left alive, saying,

    מַדּוּעַmad/DU/awhyלֹא־אֲכַלְתֶּםlo-a/khal/TEMhave you not eatenאֶת־הַחַטָּאתet-ha/chat/TATthe sin offeringבִּמְקוֹםbim/KOMin the place ofהַקֹּדֶשׁhak/KO/deshthe sanctuaryכִּיkiforקֹדֶשׁKO/deshholy ofקׇדָשִׁיםko/da/SHIMholiesהִואhivit isוְאֹתָהּve/o/TAand itנָתַןna/TANhe has givenלָכֶםla/KHEMto youלָשֵׂאתla/SETto bearאֶת־עֲוֺןet-a/VONthe iniquity ofהָעֵדָהha/e/DAthe congregationלְכַפֵּרle/khap/PERto make atonementעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMfor themלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    Wherefore have ye not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, seeing it is most holy, and God hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the LORD?

18. 18

    הֵןhenbeholdלֹא־הוּבָאlo-hu/VAwas not broughtאֶת־דָּמָהּet-da/MAits bloodאֶל־הַקֹּדֶשׁel-hak/KO/deshinto the holy placeפְּנִימָהpe/NI/mawithinאָכוֹלa/KHOLeatתֹּאכְלוּto/khe/LUyou should have eatenאֹתָהּo/TAitבַּקֹּדֶשׁbak/KO/deshin the holy placeכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasצִוֵּיתִי׃tsiv/VE/tiI commanded

    Behold, the blood of it was not brought in within the holy place: ye should indeed have eaten it in the holy place, as I commanded.

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONAaronאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesהֵןhenbeholdהַיּוֹםhay/YOMtodayהִקְרִיבוּhik/RI/vuthey have offeredאֶת־חַטָּאתָםet-chat/ta/TAMtheir sin offeringוְאֶת־עֹלָתָםve/ET-o/la/TAMand their burnt offeringלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוַתִּקְרֶאנָהvat/tik/RE/naand have befallenאֹתִיo/TImeכָּאֵלֶּהka/EL/lesuch thingsוְאָכַלְתִּיve/a/KHAL/tiand if I had eatenחַטָּאתchat/TATthe sin offeringהַיּוֹםhay/YOMtodayהַיִּיטַבhay/yi/TAVwould it have been goodבְּעֵינֵיbe/e/NEin the eyes ofיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    And Aaron said unto Moses, Behold, this day have they offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the LORD; and such things have befallen me: and if I had eaten the sin offering to day, should it have been accepted in the sight of the LORD?

20. 20

    וַיִּשְׁמַעvay/yish/MAand heardמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesוַיִּיטַבvay/yi/TAVand it was goodבְּעֵינָיו׃be/e/NAYVin his eyes

    And when Moses heard that, he was content.
