   Then went Samson to Gaza, and saw there an harlot, and went in unto her.

   And it was told the Gazites, saying, Samson is come hither. And they compassed him in, and laid wait for him all night in the gate of the city, and were quiet all the night, saying, In the morning, when it is day, we shall kill him.

   And Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the gate of the city, and the two posts, and went away with them, bar and all, and put them upon his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of an hill that is before Hebron.

   And it came to pass afterward, that he loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah.

   וַיַּעֲלוּvay/ya/a/LUand came upאֵלֶיהָe/LE/hato herסַרְנֵיsar/NEthe lords ofפְלִשְׁתִּיםFe/lish/TIMthe Philistinesוַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidלָהּlato herפַּתִּיpat/TIenticeאוֹתוֹo/TOhimוּרְאִיu/re/Iand seeבַּמֶּהbam/MEin whatכֹּחוֹko/CHOhis strengthגָדוֹלga/DOLis greatוּבַמֶּהu/vam/MEand by what meansנוּכַלnu/KHALwe may prevailלוֹloagainst himוַאֲסַרְנוּהוּva/a/sar/NU/huthat we may bind himלְעַנּוֹתוֹle/an/no/TOto afflict himוַאֲנַחְנוּva/a/NACH/nuand weנִתַּן־לָךְnit/TAN-lakhwill give youאִישׁisheachאֶלֶףE/lefa thousandוּמֵאָהu/me/Aand a hundredכָּסֶף׃KA/sefof silver

   And the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and said unto her, Entice him, and see wherein his great strength lieth, and by what means we may prevail against him, that we may bind him to afflict him: and we will give thee every one of us eleven hundred pieces of silver.

   וַתֹּאמֶרvat/TO/merand saidדְּלִילָהDe/li/LADelilahאֶל־שִׁמְשׁוֹןel-Shim/SHONto Samsonהַגִּידָה־נָּאhag/GI/da-natell I prayלִיlimeבַּמֶּהbam/MEin whatכֹּחֲךָko/cha/KHAyour strengthגָדוֹלga/DOLis greatוּבַמֶּהu/vam/MEand with whatתֵאָסֵרte/a/SERyou might be boundלְעַנּוֹתֶךָ׃le/an/no/TE/khato afflict you

   And Delilah said to Samson, Tell me, I pray thee, wherein thy great strength lieth, and wherewith thou mightest be bound to afflict thee.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלֶיהָe/LE/hato herשִׁמְשׁוֹןShim/SHONSamsonאִם־יַאַסְרֻנִיim-ya/as/RU/niif they bind meבְּשִׁבְעָהbe/shiv/Awith sevenיְתָרִיםye/ta/RIMcordsלַחִיםla/CHIMfreshאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹא־חֹרָבוּlo-cho/RA/vuhave not been driedוְחָלִיתִיve/cha/LI/tithen I shall become weakוְהָיִיתִיve/ha/YI/tiand beכְּאַחַדke/a/CHADas anyהָאָדָם׃ha/a/DAMman

   And Samson said unto her, If they bind me with seven green withs that were never dried, then shall I be weak, and be as another man.

   וַיַּעֲלוּ־לָהּvay/ya/a/LU-labrought up to herסַרְנֵיsar/NEthe lords ofפְלִשְׁתִּיםFe/lish/TIMthe Philistinesשִׁבְעָהshiv/Asevenיְתָרִיםye/ta/RIMcordsלַחִיםla/CHIMfreshאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹא־חֹרָבוּlo-cho/RA/vuhad not been driedוַתַּאַסְרֵהוּvat/ta/as/RE/huand she bound himבָּהֶם׃ba/HEMwith them

   Then the lords of the Philistines brought up to her seven green withs which had not been dried, and she bound him with them.

   וְהָאֹרֵבve/ha/o/REVand the liers in waitיֹשֵׁבyo/SHEVwere abidingלָהּlawith herבַּחֶדֶרba/CHE/derin the chamberוַתֹּאמֶרvat/TO/merand saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himפְּלִשְׁתִּיםPe/lish/TIMthe Philistines areעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaupon youשִׁמְשׁוֹןShim/SHONSamsonוַיְנַתֵּקvay/nat/TEKand he snappedאֶת־הַיְתָרִיםet-hay/ta/RIMthe cordsכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasיִנָּתֵקyin/na/TEKis snappedפְּתִיל־הַנְּעֹרֶתpe/TIL-han/ne/O/reta strand of towבַּהֲרִיחוֹba/ha/ri/CHOwhen it touchesאֵשׁeshfireוְלֹאve/LOso notנוֹדַעno/DAwas knownכֹּחוֹ׃ko/CHOhis strength

   Now there were men lying in wait, abiding with her in the chamber. And she said unto him, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he brake the withs, as a thread of tow is broken when it toucheth the fire. So his strength was not known.

    וַתֹּאמֶרvat/TO/merand saidדְּלִילָהDe/li/LADelilahאֶל־שִׁמְשׁוֹןel-Shim/SHONto Samsonהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdהֵתַלְתָּhe/TAL/tayou have mockedבִּיbimeוַתְּדַבֵּרvat/te/dab/BERand toldאֵלַיe/LAYto meכְּזָבִיםke/za/VIMliesעַתָּהat/TAnowהַגִּידָה־נָּאhag/GI/da-natell I prayלִיlimeבַּמֶּהbam/MEwith whatתֵּאָסֵר׃te/a/SERyou might be bound

    And Delilah said unto Samson, Behold, thou hast mocked me, and told me lies: now tell me, I pray thee, wherewith thou mightest be bound.

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלֶיהָe/LE/hato herאִם־אָסוֹרim-a/SORif bindיַאַסְרוּנִיya/as/RU/nithey bind meבַּעֲבֹתִיםba/a/vo/TIMwith ropesחֲדָשִׁיםcha/da/SHIMnewאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹא־נַעֲשָׂהlo-na/a/SAhas not been doneבָהֶםva/HEMwith themמְלָאכָהme/la/KHAworkוְחָלִיתִיve/cha/LI/tithen I shall become weakוְהָיִיתִיve/ha/YI/tiand beכְּאַחַדke/a/CHADas anyהָאָדָם׃ha/a/DAMman

    And he said unto her, If they bind me fast with new ropes that never were occupied, then shall I be weak, and be as another man.

    וַתִּקַּחvat/tik/KACHand she tookדְּלִילָהDe/li/LADelilahעֲבֹתִיםa/vo/TIMropesחֲדָשִׁיםcha/da/SHIMnewוַתַּאַסְרֵהוּvat/ta/as/RE/huand she bound himבָהֶםva/HEMwith themוַתֹּאמֶרvat/TO/merand saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himפְּלִשְׁתִּיםPe/lish/TIMthe Philistines areעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaupon youשִׁמְשׁוֹןShim/SHONSamsonוְהָאֹרֵבve/ha/o/REVand the liers in waitיֹשֵׁבyo/SHEVwere abidingבֶּחָדֶרbe/CHA/derin the chamberוַיְנַתְּקֵםvay/nat/te/KEMand he snapped themמֵעַלme/ALfrom offזְרֹעֹתָיוze/ro/o/TAYVhis armsכַּחוּט׃ka/CHUTlike a thread

    Delilah therefore took new ropes, and bound him therewith, and said unto him, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And there were liers in wait abiding in the chamber. And he brake them from off his arms like a thread.

    וַתֹּאמֶרvat/TO/merand saidדְּלִילָהDe/li/LADelilahאֶל־שִׁמְשׁוֹןel-Shim/SHONto Samsonעַד־הֵנָּהad-HEN/nauntil nowהֵתַלְתָּhe/TAL/tayou have mockedבִּיbimeוַתְּדַבֵּרvat/te/dab/BERand toldאֵלַיe/LAYto meכְּזָבִיםke/za/VIMliesהַגִּידָהhag/GI/datellלִּיlimeבַּמֶּהbam/MEwith whatתֵּאָסֵרte/a/SERyou might be boundוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלֶיהָe/LE/hato herאִם־תַּאַרְגִיim-ta/ar/GIif you weaveאֶת־שֶׁבַעet-SHE/vasevenמַחְלְפוֹתmach/le/FOTlocks ofרֹאשִׁיro/SHImy headעִם־הַמַּסָּכֶת׃im-ham/mas/SA/khetwith the web

    And Delilah said unto Samson, Hitherto thou hast mocked me, and told me lies: tell me wherewith thou mightest be bound. And he said unto her, If thou weavest the seven locks of my head with the web.

    וַתִּתְקַעvat/tit/KAand she fastened itבַּיָּתֵדbay/ya/TEDwith the pinוַתֹּאמֶרvat/TO/merand saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himפְּלִשְׁתִּיםPe/lish/TIMthe Philistines areעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaupon youשִׁמְשׁוֹןShim/SHONSamsonוַיִּיקַץvay/yi/KATSand he awokeמִשְּׁנָתוֹmish/she/na/TOfrom his sleepוַיִּסַּעvay/yis/SAand pulled outאֶת־הַיְתַדet-hay/TADthe pinהָאֶרֶגha/E/regthe loomוְאֶת־הַמַּסָּכֶת׃ve/ET-ham/mas/SA/khetand the web

    And she fastened it with the pin, and said unto him, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awaked out of his sleep, and went away with the pin of the beam, and with the web.

    וַתֹּאמֶרvat/TO/merand saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himאֵיךְekhhowתֹּאמַרto/MARcan you sayאֲהַבְתִּיךְa/hav/TIKHI love youוְלִבְּךָve/lib/be/KHAwhen your heartאֵיןenis notאִתִּיit/TIwith meזֶהzetheseשָׁלֹשׁsha/LOSHthreeפְּעָמִיםpe/a/MIMtimesהֵתַלְתָּhe/TAL/tayou have mockedבִּיbimeוְלֹא־הִגַּדְתָּve/LO-hig/GAD/taand have not toldלִּיlimeבַּמֶּהbam/MEin whatכֹּחֲךָko/cha/KHAyour strengthגָדוֹל׃ga/DOLis great

    And she said unto him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thine heart is not with me? thou hast mocked me these three times, and hast not told me wherein thy great strength lieth.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passכִּי־הֵצִיקָהki-he/TSI/kawhen she pressedלּוֹlohimבִדְבָרֶיהָvid/va/RE/hawith her wordsכׇּל־הַיָּמִיםkol-hay/ya/MIMdailyוַתְּאַלְצֵהוּvat/te/al/TSE/huand urged himוַתִּקְצַרvat/tik/TSARthat was shortנַפְשׁוֹnaf/SHOhis soulלָמוּת׃la/MUTto death

    And it came to pass, when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul was vexed unto death;

    וַיַּגֶּד־לָהּvay/YAG/ged-lathat he told herאֶת־כׇּל־לִבּוֹet-kol-lib/BOall his heartוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidלָהּlato herמוֹרָהmo/RAa razorלֹא־עָלָהlo-a/LAhas not comeעַל־רֹאשִׁיal-ro/SHIupon my headכִּי־נְזִירki-Ne/ZIRfor a Nazirite toאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאֲנִיa/NII have beenמִבֶּטֶןmib/BE/tenfrom the womb ofאִמִּיim/MImy motherאִם־גֻּלַּחְתִּיim-gul/LACH/tiif I am shavedוְסָרve/SARthen will goמִמֶּנִּיmim/MEN/nifrom meכֹחִיkho/CHImy strengthוְחָלִיתִיve/cha/LI/tiand I shall become weakוְהָיִיתִיve/ha/YI/tiand beכְּכׇל־הָאָדָם׃ke/KHOL-ha/a/DAMlike any man

    That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother's womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man.

    וַתֵּרֶאvat/TE/reand sawדְלִילָהDe/li/LADelilahכִּי־הִגִּידki-hig/GIDthat he had toldלָהּlaherאֶת־כׇּל־לִבּוֹet-kol-lib/BOall his heartוַתִּשְׁלַחvat/tish/LACHand she sentוַתִּקְרָאvat/tik/RAand she calledלְסַרְנֵיle/sar/NEfor the lords ofפְלִשְׁתִּיםFe/lish/TIMthe Philistinesלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingעֲלוּa/LUcome upהַפַּעַםhap/PA/amthis onceכִּי־הִגִּידki-hig/GIDfor he has told(לה)lah[לִי]limeאֶת־כׇּל־לִבּוֹet-kol-lib/BOall his heartוְעָלוּve/a/LUthen came upאֵלֶיהָe/LE/hato herסַרְנֵיsar/NEthe lords ofפְלִשְׁתִּיםFe/lish/TIMthe Philistinesוַיַּעֲלוּvay/ya/a/LUand broughtהַכֶּסֶףhak/KE/sefthe silverבְּיָדָם׃be/ya/DAMin their hand

    And when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords of the Philistines, saying, Come up this once, for he hath shewed me all his heart. Then the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and brought money in their hand.

    וַתְּיַשְּׁנֵהוּvat/te/yash/she/NE/huand she made him sleepעַל־בִּרְכֶּיהָal-bir/KE/haupon her kneesוַתִּקְרָאvat/tik/RAand she calledלָאִישׁla/ISHfor a manוַתְּגַלַּחvat/te/gal/LACHand she shaved offאֶת־שֶׁבַעet-SHE/vasevenמַחְלְפוֹתmach/le/FOTlocks ofרֹאשׁוֹro/SHOhis headוַתָּחֶלvat/TA/cheland she beganלְעַנּוֹתוֹle/an/no/TOto afflict himוַיָּסַרvay/YA/sarand wentכֹּחוֹko/CHOhis strengthמֵעָלָיו׃me/a/LAYVfrom him

    And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him.

    וַתֹּאמֶרvat/TO/merand saidפְּלִשְׁתִּיםPe/lish/TIMthe Philistines areעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaupon youשִׁמְשׁוֹןShim/SHONSamsonוַיִּקַץvay/yi/KATSand he awokeמִשְּׁנָתוֹmish/she/na/TOfrom his sleepוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵצֵאe/TSEI will go outכְּפַעַםke/FA/amas at other timesבְּפַעַםbe/FA/ambeforeוְאִנָּעֵרve/in/na/ERand shake myself freeוְהוּאve/HUbut heלֹאlonotיָדַעya/DAknewכִּיkithatיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDסָרsarhad departedמֵעָלָיו׃me/a/LAYVfrom him

    And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him.

21. 21

    וַיֹּאחֲזוּהוּvay/yo/cha/ZU/hubut seized himפְלִשְׁתִּיםFe/lish/TIMthe Philistinesוַיְנַקְּרוּvay/nak/ke/RUand gouged outאֶת־עֵינָיוet-e/NAYVhis eyesוַיּוֹרִידוּvay/yo/RI/duand they brought downאוֹתוֹo/TOhimעַזָּתָהAz/ZA/tato Gazaוַיַּאַסְרוּהוּvay/ya/as/RU/huand they bound himבַּנְחֻשְׁתַּיִםban/chush/TA/yimwith bronze fettersוַיְהִיvay/HIand he wasטוֹחֵןto/CHENgrindingבְּבֵיתbe/VETin the house of(האסירים)hsayarayam[הָאֲסוּרִים]׃ha/a/su/RIMthe prisoners

    But the Philistines took him, and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison house.

22. 22

    וַיָּחֶלvay/YA/chelhowever beganשְׂעַר־רֹאשׁוֹse/AR-ro/SHOthe hair of his headלְצַמֵּחַle/tsam/ME/achto grow againכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERafterגֻּלָּח׃gul/LACHhe had been shaved

    Howbeit the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaven.

23. 23

    וְסַרְנֵיve/sar/NEand the lords ofפְלִשְׁתִּיםFe/lish/TIMthe Philistinesנֶאֶסְפוּne/es/FUgathered togetherלִזְבֹּחַliz/BO/achto offerזֶבַח־גָּדוֹלZE/vach-ga/DOLa great sacrificeלְדָגוֹןle/Da/GONto Dagonאֱלֹהֵיהֶםe/lo/he/HEMtheir godוּלְשִׂמְחָהu/le/sim/CHAand to rejoiceוַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidנָתַןna/TANhas deliveredאֱלֹהֵינוּe/lo/HE/nuour godבְּיָדֵנוּbe/ya/DE/nuinto our handאֵת־שִׁמְשׁוֹןet-Shim/SHONSamsonאוֹיְבֵנוּ׃oy/VE/nuour enemy

    Then the lords of the Philistines gathered them together for to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, Our god hath delivered Samson our enemy into our hand.

    וַיִּרְאוּvay/yir/Uand they sawאֹתוֹo/TOhimהָעָםha/AMthe peopleוַיְהַלְלוּvay/hal/LUthey praisedאֶת־אֱלֹהֵיהֶםet-e/lo/he/HEMtheir godכִּיkiforאָמְרוּa/me/RUthey saidנָתַןna/TANhas deliveredאֱלֹהֵינוּe/lo/HE/nuour godבְיָדֵנוּve/ya/DE/nuinto our handאֶת־אוֹיְבֵנוּet-oy/VE/nuour enemyוְאֵתve/ETandמַחֲרִיבma/cha/RIVthe destroyer ofאַרְצֵנוּar/TSE/nuour countryוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERwhoהִרְבָּהhir/BAhas multipliedאֶת־חֲלָלֵינוּ׃et-cha/la/LE/nuour slain

    And when the people saw him, they praised their god: for they said, Our god hath delivered into our hands our enemy, and the destroyer of our country, which slew many of us.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to pass(כיkhayטוב)tavav[כְּטוֹב]ke/TOVwhen were merryלִבָּםlib/BAMtheir heartsוַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidקִרְאוּkir/Ucallלְשִׁמְשׁוֹןle/Shim/SHONto Samsonוִישַׂחֶק־לָנוּvi/sa/CHEK-LA/nuthat he may make sport for usוַיִּקְרְאוּvay/yik/re/Uand they calledלְשִׁמְשׁוֹןle/Shim/SHONto Samsonמִבֵּיתmib/BETout of the house of(האסירים)hsayarayam[הָאֲסוּרִים]ha/a/su/RIMthe prisonersוַיְצַחֵקvay/tsa/CHEKand he made sportלִפְנֵיהֶםlif/ne/HEMbefore themוַיַּעֲמִידוּvay/ya/a/MI/duand they setאוֹתוֹo/TOhimבֵּיןbenbetweenהָעַמּוּדִים׃ha/am/mu/DIMthe pillars

    And it came to pass, when their hearts were merry, that they said, Call for Samson, that he may make us sport. And they called for Samson out of the prison house; and he made them sport: and they set him between the pillars.

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidשִׁמְשׁוֹןShim/SHONSamsonאֶל־הַנַּעַרel-han/NA/arto the young manהַמַּחֲזִיקham/ma/cha/ZIKwho heldבְּיָדוֹbe/ya/DOby his handהַנִּיחָהhan/NI/chaletאוֹתִיo/TIme[וַהֲמִישֵׁנִי]va/ha/mi/she/NIand let me feelאֶת־הָעַמֻּדִיםet-ha/am/mu/DIMthe pillarsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERon whichהַבַּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseנָכוֹןna/KHONstandsעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMupon themוְאֶשָּׁעֵןve/esh/sha/ENthat I may leanעֲלֵיהֶם׃a/le/HEMupon them

    And Samson said unto the lad that held him by the hand, Suffer me that I may feel the pillars whereupon the house standeth, that I may lean upon them.

    וְהַבַּיִתve/hab/BA/yitnow the houseמָלֵאma/LEwas full ofהָאֲנָשִׁיםha/a/na/SHIMthe menוְהַנָּשִׁיםve/han/na/SHIMand the womenוְשָׁמָּהve/SHAM/maand there wereכֹּלkolallסַרְנֵיsar/NEthe lords ofפְלִשְׁתִּיםFe/lish/TIMthe Philistinesוְעַל־הַגָּגve/AL-hag/GAGand on the roofכִּשְׁלֹשֶׁתkish/LO/shetabout threeאֲלָפִיםa/la/FIMthousandאִישׁishmenוְאִשָּׁהve/ish/SHAand womenהָרֹאִיםha/ro/IMwho watchedבִּשְׂחוֹקbis/CHOKwhile made sportשִׁמְשׁוֹן׃Shim/SHONSamson

    Now the house was full of men and women; and all the lords of the Philistines were there; and there were upon the roof about three thousand men and women, that beheld while Samson made sport.

28. 28

    וַיִּקְרָאvay/yik/RAand calledשִׁמְשׁוֹןShim/SHONSamsonאֶל־יְהֹוָהel-Adonaito the LORDוַיֹּאמַרvay/yo/MARand saidאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYO LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODזׇכְרֵנִיzokh/RE/niremember meנָאnaI prayוְחַזְּקֵנִיve/chaz/ze/KE/niand strengthen meנָאnaI prayאַךְakhonlyהַפַּעַםhap/PA/amthe timeהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisהָאֱלֹהִיםha/e/lo/HIMO Godוְאִנָּקְמָהve/in/na/ke/MAthat I may be avengedנְקַם־אַחַתne/KAM-a/CHATwith one vengeanceמִשְּׁתֵיmish/she/TEfor my twoעֵינַיe/NAYeyesמִפְּלִשְׁתִּים׃mip/Pe/lish/TIMon the Philistines

    And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord GOD, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.

29. 29

    וַיִּלְפֹּתvay/yil/POTand took hold ofשִׁמְשׁוֹןShim/SHONSamsonאֶת־שְׁנֵיet-she/NEthe twoעַמּוּדֵיam/mu/DEpillars ofהַתָּוֶךְhat/TA/vekhthe middleאֲשֶׁרa/SHERon whichהַבַּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseנָכוֹןna/KHONstoodעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMupon themוַיִּסָּמֵךְvay/yis/sa/MEKHand he braced himselfעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMagainst themאֶחָדe/CHADoneבִּימִינוֹbi/mi/NOwith his right handוְאֶחָדve/e/CHADand the otherבִּשְׂמֹאלוֹ׃bis/mo/LOwith his left

    And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on which it was borne up, of the one with his right hand, and of the other with his left.

30. 30

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidשִׁמְשׁוֹןShim/SHONSamsonתָּמוֹתta/MOTlet dieנַפְשִׁיnaf/SHImy soulעִם־פְּלִשְׁתִּיםim-Pe/lish/TIMwith the Philistinesוַיֵּטvay/YETand he bowedבְּכֹחַbe/KHO/achwith mightוַיִּפֹּלvay/yip/POLand fellהַבַּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseעַל־הַסְּרָנִיםal-has/se/ra/NIMupon the lordsוְעַל־כׇּל־הָעָםve/AL-kol-ha/AMand upon all the peopleאֲשֶׁר־בּוֹa/SHER-bothat were in itוַיִּהְיוּvay/yih/YUso wereהַמֵּתִיםham/me/TIMthe deadאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomהֵמִיתhe/MIThe killedבְּמוֹתוֹbe/mo/TOat his deathרַבִּיםrab/BIMmoreמֵאֲשֶׁרme/a/SHERthan thoseהֵמִיתhe/MIThe had killedבְּחַיָּיו׃be/chay/YAYVin his life

    And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.

31. 31

    וַיֵּרְדוּvay/yer/DUand came downאֶחָיוe/CHAYVhis brothersוְכׇל־בֵּיתve/KHOL-betand all the house ofאָבִיהוּa/VI/huhis fatherוַיִּשְׂאוּvay/yis/Uand tookאֹתוֹo/TOhimוַיַּעֲלוּvay/ya/a/LUand brought him upוַיִּקְבְּרוּvay/yik/be/RUand buriedאוֹתוֹo/TOhimבֵּיןbenbetweenצׇרְעָהTsor/AZorahוּבֵיןu/VENand betweenאֶשְׁתָּאֹלEsh/ta/OLEshtaolבְּקֶבֶרbe/KE/verin the tomb ofמָנוֹחַMa/NO/achManoahאָבִיוa/VIVhis fatherוְהוּאve/HUand heשָׁפַטsha/FAThad judgedאֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵלet-Yis/ra/ELIsraelעֶשְׂרִיםes/RIMtwentyשָׁנָה׃sha/NAyears

    Then his brethren and all the house of his father came down, and took him, and brought him up, and buried him between Zorah and Eshtaol in the buryingplace of Manoah his father. And he judged Israel twenty years.
