   כִּיkiforהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdבַּיָּמִיםbay/ya/MIMin the daysהָהֵמָּהha/HEM/mathoseוּבָעֵתu/va/ETand at that timeהַהִיאha/HIthatאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhen(אשוב)shavav[אָשִׁיב]a/SHIVI will bring backאֶת־שְׁבוּתet-she/VUTthe captivity ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahוִירוּשָׁלָ͏ִם׃Vi/ru/sha/LA/yimand Jerusalem

   For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,

   וְקִבַּצְתִּיve/kib/bats/TIand I will gatherאֶת־כׇּל־הַגּוֹיִםet-kol-hag/go/YIMall the nationsוְהוֹרַדְתִּיםve/ho/rad/TIMand I will bring them downאֶל־עֵמֶקel-E/mekto the valley ofיְהוֹשָׁפָטYe/ho/sha/FATJehoshaphatוְנִשְׁפַּטְתִּיve/nish/pat/TIand I will enter into judgmentעִמָּםim/MAMwith themשָׁםshamthereעַל־עַמִּיal-am/MIfor my peopleוְנַחֲלָתִיve/na/cha/la/TIand my heritageיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomפִּזְּרוּpiz/ze/RUthey scatteredבַגּוֹיִםvag/go/YIMamong the nationsוְאֶת־אַרְצִיve/ET-ar/TSIand my landחִלֵּקוּ׃chil/LE/kuthey have divided

   I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

   וְאֶל־עַמִּיve/EL-am/MIand for my peopleיַדּוּyad/DUthey castגוֹרָלgo/RALlotsוַיִּתְּנוּvay/yit/te/NUand they gaveהַיֶּלֶדhay/YE/leda boyבַּזּוֹנָהbaz/zo/NAfor a harlotוְהַיַּלְדָּהve/hay/yal/DAand a girlמָכְרוּma/khe/RUthey soldבַיַּיִןvay/YA/yinfor wineוַיִּשְׁתּוּ׃vay/yish/TUand drank

   And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.

   וְגַםve/GAMand alsoמָה־אַתֶּםma-at/TEMwhat are youלִיlito meצֹרTsorO Tyreוְצִידוֹןve/Tsi/DONand Zidonוְכֹלve/KHOLand allגְּלִילוֹתge/li/LOTthe regions ofפְּלָשֶׁתPe/LA/shetPhilistiaהַגְּמוּלhag/ge/MULa recompenseאַתֶּםat/TEMyouמְשַׁלְּמִיםme/shal/le/MIMrepayעָלָיa/LAYto meוְאִם־גֹּמְלִיםve/IM-gom/LIMand if repayingאַתֶּםat/TEMyouעָלַיa/LAYmeקַלkalswiftlyמְהֵרָהme/he/RAspeedilyאָשִׁיבa/SHIVI will returnגְּמֻלְכֶםge/mul/KHEMyour recompenseבְּרֹאשְׁכֶם׃be/ro/she/KHEMon your head

   Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head;

   אֲשֶׁר־כַּסְפִּיa/SHER-kas/PIbecause my silverוּזְהָבִיu/ze/ha/VIand my goldלְקַחְתֶּםle/kach/TEMyou have takenוּמַחֲמַדַּיu/ma/cha/mad/DAYand my pleasant thingsהַטֹּבִיםhat/to/VIMgoodlyהֲבֵאתֶםha/ve/TEMyou have carriedלְהֵיכְלֵיכֶם׃le/he/khe/le/KHEMinto your temples

   Because ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things:

   וּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the children ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahוּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the children ofיְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalemמְכַרְתֶּםme/khar/TEMyou have soldלִבְנֵיliv/NEto the sons ofהַיְּוָנִיםhay/Ye/va/NIMthe Greeksלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatהַרְחִיקָםhar/chi/KAMyou might remove them farמֵעַלme/ALfromגְּבוּלָם׃ge/vu/LAMtheir border

   The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border.

   הִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iמְעִירָםme/i/RAMwill raise themמִן־הַמָּקוֹםmin-ham/ma/KOMfrom the placeאֲשֶׁר־מְכַרְתֶּםa/SHER-me/khar/TEMwhere you soldאֹתָםo/TAMthemשָׁמָּהSHAM/mathitherוַהֲשִׁבֹתִיva/ha/shi/vo/TIand I will returnגְמֻלְכֶםge/mul/KHEMyour recompenseבְּרֹאשְׁכֶם׃be/ro/she/KHEMon your head

   Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head:

8. 8

   וּמָכַרְתִּיu/ma/khar/TIand I will sellאֶת־בְּנֵיכֶםet-be/ne/KHEMyour sonsוְאֶת־בְּנוֹתֵיכֶםve/ET-be/no/te/KHEMand your daughtersבְּיַדbe/YADinto the hand ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahוּמְכָרוּםu/me/kha/RUMand they will sell themלִשְׁבָאיִםLish/va/YIMto the Sabeansאֶל־גּוֹיel-goyto a nationרָחוֹקra/CHOKfar offכִּיkiforיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDדִּבֵּר׃dib/BERhas spoken

   And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the LORD hath spoken it.

   קִרְאוּ־זֹאתkir/U-zotproclaim thisבַּגּוֹיִםbag/go/YIMamong the nationsקַדְּשׁוּkad/de/SHUconsecrateמִלְחָמָהmil/cha/MAwarהָעִירוּha/I/rustir upהַגִּבּוֹרִיםhag/gib/bo/RIMthe mighty menיִגְּשׁוּyig/ge/SHUlet draw nearיַעֲלוּya/a/LUlet come upכֹּלkolallאַנְשֵׁיan/SHEthe men ofהַמִּלְחָמָה׃ham/mil/cha/MAwar

   Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:

10. 10

    כֹּתּוּKOT/tubeatאִתֵּיכֶםit/te/KHEMyour plowsharesלַחֲרָבוֹתla/cha/ra/VOTinto swordsוּמַזְמְרֹתֵיכֶםu/maz/me/ro/te/KHEMand your pruninghooksלִרְמָחִיםlir/ma/CHIMinto spearsהַחַלָּשׁha/chal/LASHthe weakיֹאמַרyo/MARlet sayגִּבּוֹרgib/BORstrongאָנִי׃A/niam I

    Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.

11. 11

    עוּשׁוּU/shuassembleוָבֹאוּva/VO/uand comeכׇל־הַגּוֹיִםkhol-hag/go/YIMall the nationsמִסָּבִיבmis/sa/VIVall aroundוְנִקְבָּצוּve/nik/BA/tsuand gather yourselvesשָׁמָּהSHAM/mathereהַנְחַתhan/CHATcause to come downיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDגִּבּוֹרֶיךָ׃gib/bo/RE/khaYour mighty ones

    Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD.

12. 12

    יֵעוֹרוּye/O/rulet be wakenedוְיַעֲלוּve/ya/a/LUand come upהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMthe nationsאֶל־עֵמֶקel-E/mekto the valley ofיְהוֹשָׁפָטYe/ho/sha/FATJehoshaphatכִּיkiforשָׁםshamthereאֵשֵׁבe/SHEVI will sitלִשְׁפֹּטlish/POTto judgeאֶת־כׇּל־הַגּוֹיִםet-kol-hag/go/YIMall the nationsמִסָּבִיב׃mis/sa/VIVall around

    Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.

13. 13

    שִׁלְחוּshil/CHUput inמַגָּלmag/GALthe sickleכִּיkiforבָשַׁלva/SHALis ripeקָצִירka/TSIRthe harvestבֹּאוּBO/ucomeרְדוּre/DUgo downכִּי־מָלְאָהki-ma/le/Afor is fullגַּתgatthe winepressהֵשִׁיקוּhe/SHI/kuoverflowהַיְקָבִיםhay/ka/VIMthe vatsכִּיkiforרַבָּהrab/BAgreatרָעָתָם׃ra/a/TAMtheir wickedness

    Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.

14. 14

    הֲמוֹנִיםha/mo/NIMmultitudesהֲמוֹנִיםha/mo/NIMmultitudesבְּעֵמֶקbe/E/mekin the valley ofהֶחָרוּץhe/cha/RUTSdecisionכִּיkiforקָרוֹבka/ROVnearיוֹםyomthe day ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבְּעֵמֶקbe/E/mekin the valley ofהֶחָרוּץ׃he/cha/RUTSdecision

    Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.

15. 15

    שֶׁמֶשׁSHE/meshthe sunוְיָרֵחַve/ya/RE/achand moonקָדָרוּka/DA/ruare darkenedוְכוֹכָבִיםve/kho/kha/VIMand the starsאָסְפוּa/se/FUwithdrawנׇגְהָם׃nog/HAMtheir shining

    The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.

16. 16

    וַיהֹוָהve-Adonaiand the LORDמִצִּיּוֹןmits/Tsiy/YONout of Zionיִשְׁאָגyish/AGshall roarוּמִירוּשָׁלַ͏ִםu/Mi/ru/sha/LA/yimand from Jerusalemיִתֵּןyit/TENshall giveקוֹלוֹko/LOHis voiceוְרָעֲשׁוּve/ra/a/SHUand shall shakeשָׁמַיִםsha/MA/yimthe heavensוָאָרֶץva/A/retsand earthוַיהֹוָהve-Adonaiand the LORDמַחֲסֶהma/cha/SEa refugeלְעַמּוֹle/am/MOfor His peopleוּמָעוֹזu/ma/OZand a strongholdלִבְנֵיliv/NEfor the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

    The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.

17. 17

    וִידַעְתֶּםvi/da/TEMand you shall knowכִּיkithatאֲנִיa/NIIיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵיכֶםe/lo/he/KHEMyour Godשֹׁכֵןsho/KHENdwellingבְּצִיּוֹןbe/Tsiy/YONin Zionהַר־קׇדְשִׁיhar-kod/SHImy holy mountainוְהָיְתָהve/ha/ye/TAand shall beיְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalemקֹדֶשׁKO/deshholyוְזָרִיםve/za/RIMand strangersלֹא־יַעַבְרוּ־בָהּlo-ya/av/RU-vashall not pass through herעוֹד׃odagain

    So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.

18. 18

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beבַיּוֹםvay/YOMin the dayהַהוּאha/HUthatיִטְּפוּyit/te/FUshall dropהֶהָרִיםhe/ha/RIMthe mountainsעָסִיסa/SISnew wineוְהַגְּבָעוֹתve/hag/ge/va/OTand the hillsתֵּלַכְנָהte/LAKH/nashall flowחָלָבcha/LAVmilkוְכׇל־אֲפִיקֵיve/KHOL-a/fi/KEand all the rivers ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahיֵלְכוּyel/KHUshall flowמָיִםMA/yimwatersוּמַעְיָןu/ma/YANand a fountainמִבֵּיתmib/BETfrom the house ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDיֵצֵאye/TSEshall come forthוְהִשְׁקָהve/hish/KAand shall waterאֶת־נַחַלet-NA/chalthe valley ofהַשִּׁטִּים׃Hash/shit/TIMShittim

    And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.

19. 19

    מִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptלִשְׁמָמָהlish/ma/MAa desolationתִהְיֶהtih/YEshall beוֶאֱדוֹםVe/e/DOMand Edomלְמִדְבַּרle/mid/BARa wilderness ofשְׁמָמָהshe/ma/MAdesolationתִּהְיֶהtih/YEshall beמֵחֲמַסme/cha/MASfor the violence againstבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahאֲשֶׁר־שָׁפְכוּa/SHER-sha/fe/KHUbecause they have shedדָם־נָקִיאdam-na/KIinnocent bloodבְּאַרְצָם׃be/ar/TSAMin their land

    Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.

20. 20

    וִיהוּדָהVi/hu/DAand Judahלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforeverתֵּשֵׁבte/SHEVshall dwellוִירוּשָׁלַ͏ִםVi/ru/sha/LA/yimand Jerusalemלְדוֹרle/DORto generationוָדוֹר׃va/DORand generation

    But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.

21. 21

    וְנִקֵּיתִיve/nik/KE/tiand I will cleanseדָּמָםda/MAMtheir bloodלֹא־נִקֵּיתִיlo-nik/KE/tiI have not cleansedוַיהֹוָהve-Adonaiand the LORDשֹׁכֵןsho/KHENdwellsבְּצִיּוֹן׃be/Tsiy/YONin Zion

    For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the LORD dwelleth in Zion.
