   וַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand he answeredאִיּוֹבIy/YOVJobאֶת־יְהֹוָהet-Adonaithe LORDוַיֹּאמַר׃vay/yo/MARand said

   Then Job answered the LORD, and said,

   (ידעת)yadt[יָדַעְתִּי]ya/DA/tiI knowכִּי־כֹלki-kholthat everythingתּוּכָלtu/KHALYou can doוְלֹא־יִבָּצֵרve/LO-yib/ba/TSERand cannot be thwartedמִמְּךָmim/me/KHAfrom Youמְזִמָּה׃me/zim/MApurpose

   I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.

   מִיmiwhoזֶהzethisמַעְלִיםma/LIMhidesעֵצָהe/TSAcounselבְּלִי־דָעַתbe/LI-DA/atwithout knowledgeלָכֵןla/KHENthereforeהִגַּדְתִּיhig/GAD/tiI have declaredוְלֹאve/LOand notאָבִיןa/VINI understoodנִפְלָאוֹתnif/la/OTthings too wonderfulמִמֶּנִּיmim/MEN/nifor meוְלֹאve/LOand notאֵדָע׃e/DAI knew

   Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.

   שְׁמַע־נָאshe/MA-nahear nowוְאָנֹכִיve/a/no/KHIand Iאֲדַבֵּרa/dab/BERwill speakאֶשְׁאָלְךָesh/a/le/KHAI will ask Youוְהוֹדִיעֵנִי׃ve/ho/di/E/niand You make me know

   Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

   לְשֵׁמַע־אֹזֶןle/SHE/ma-O/zenby the hearing of the earשְׁמַעְתִּיךָshe/ma/TI/khaI had heard of Youוְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowעֵינִיe/NImy eyeרָאָתְךָ׃ra/AT/khahas seen You

   I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.

   עַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeאֶמְאַסem/ASI despise myselfוְנִחַמְתִּיve/ni/cham/TIand repentעַל־עָפָרal-a/FARin dustוָאֵפֶר׃va/E/ferand ashes

   Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

   And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.

   Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.

   וַיֵּלְכוּvay/yel/KHUand they wentאֱלִיפַזE/li/FAZEliphazהַתֵּימָנִיhat/Te/ma/NIthe Temaniteוּבִלְדַּדu/Vil/DADand Bildadהַשּׁוּחִיhash/Shu/CHIthe ShuhiteצֹפַרTso/FARZopharהַנַּעֲמָתִיhan/Na/a/ma/TIthe Naamathiteוַיַּעֲשׂוּvay/ya/a/SUand they didכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasדִּבֶּרdib/BERspokeאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוַיִּשָּׂאvay/yis/SAand lifted upיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־פְּנֵיet-pe/NEthe face ofאִיּוֹב׃Iy/YOVJob

   So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: the LORD also accepted Job.

    וַיהֹוָהve-Adonaiand the LORDשָׁבshavrestoredאֶת־[שְׁבוּת]et-she/VUTthe fortune of(שבית)shavayatאִיּוֹבIy/YOVJobבְּהִתְפַּלְלוֹbe/hit/pal/LOas he prayedבְּעַדbe/ADforרֵעֵהוּre/E/huhis friendsוַיֹּסֶףvay/YO/sefand increasedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־כׇּל־אֲשֶׁרet-kol-a/SHERall thatלְאִיּוֹבLe/iy/YOVJob hadלְמִשְׁנֶה׃le/mish/NEtwice as much

    And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

    וַיָּבֹאוּvay/ya/VO/uand they cameאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himכׇּל־אֶחָיוkol-e/CHAYVall his brothersוְכׇל־אַחְיֹתָיוve/KHOL-ach/yo/TAYVand all his sistersוְכׇל־יֹדְעָיוve/KHOL-yod/AYVand all those who knew himלְפָנִיםle/fa/NIMbeforeוַיֹּאכְלוּvay/yo/khe/LUand they ateעִמּוֹim/MOwith himלֶחֶםLE/chembreadבְּבֵיתוֹbe/ve/TOin his houseוַיָּנֻדוּvay/ya/NU/duand they consoledלוֹlohimוַיְנַחֲמוּvay/na/cha/MUand they comfortedאֹתוֹo/TOhimעַלaloverכׇּל־הָרָעָהkol-ha/ra/Aall the evilאֲשֶׁר־הֵבִיאa/SHER-he/VIthat had broughtיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDעָלָיוa/LAYVupon himוַיִּתְּנוּ־לוֹvay/yit/te/NU-loand they gave himאִישׁisheach manקְשִׂיטָהke/si/TAa piece of moneyאֶחָתe/CHAToneוְאִישׁve/ISHand each manנֶזֶםNE/zema ring ofזָהָבza/HAVgoldאֶחָד׃e/CHADone

    Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.

    וַיהֹוָהve-Adonaiand the LORDבֵּרַךְbe/RAKHblessedאֶת־אַחֲרִיתet-a/cha/RITthe latter end ofאִיּוֹבIy/YOVJobמֵרֵאשִׁתוֹme/re/shi/TOmore than his beginningוַיְהִי־לוֹvay/HI-loand he hadאַרְבָּעָה־עָשָׂרar/ba/A-a/SARfourteenאֶלֶףE/lefthousandצֹאןtsonsheepוְשֵׁשֶׁתve/SHE/shetand sixאֲלָפִיםa/la/FIMthousandגְּמַלִּיםge/mal/LIMcamelsוְאֶלֶף־צֶמֶדve/E/lef-TSE/medand a thousand yoke ofבָּקָרba/KARoxenוְאֶלֶףve/E/lefand one thousandאֲתוֹנוֹת׃a/to/NOTshe-donkeys

    So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.

13. 13

    וַיְהִי־לוֹvay/HI-loand he hadשִׁבְעָנָהshiv/A/nasevenבָנִיםva/NIMsonsוְשָׁלוֹשׁve/sha/LOSHand threeבָּנוֹת׃ba/NOTdaughters

    He had also seven sons and three daughters.

    וַיִּקְרָאvay/yik/RAand he calledשֵׁם־הָאַחַתshem-ha/a/CHATthe name of the firstיְמִימָהYe/mi/MAJemimahוְשֵׁםve/SHEMand the name ofהַשֵּׁנִיתhash/she/NITthe secondקְצִיעָהKe/tsi/AKeziahוְשֵׁםve/SHEMand the name ofהַשְּׁלִישִׁיתhash/she/li/SHITthe thirdקֶרֶןKE/renKeren-הַפּוּךְ׃hap/PUKHhappuch

    And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Keren-happuch.

15. 15

    וְלֹאve/LOand notנִמְצָאnim/TSAwas foundנָשִׁיםna/SHIMwomenיָפוֹתya/FOTso beautifulכִּבְנוֹתkiv/NOTlike the daughters ofאִיּוֹבIy/YOVJobבְּכׇל־הָאָרֶץbe/KHOL-ha/A/retsin all the landוַיִּתֵּןvay/yit/TENand gaveלָהֶםla/HEMto themאֲבִיהֶםa/vi/HEMtheir fatherנַחֲלָהna/cha/LAinheritanceבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHamongאֲחֵיהֶם׃a/che/HEMtheir brothers

    And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.

16. 16

    וַיְחִיvay/CHIand livedאִיּוֹבIy/YOVJobאַחֲרֵי־זֹאתa/cha/RE-zotafter thisמֵאָהme/Aa hundredוְאַרְבָּעִיםve/ar/ba/IMand fortyשָׁנָהsha/NAyears(וירא)vayar[וַיִּרְאֶה]vay/yir/Eand sawאֶת־בָּנָיוet-ba/NAYVhis sonsוְאֶת־בְּנֵיve/ET-be/NEand the sons ofבָנָיוva/NAYVhis sonsאַרְבָּעָהar/ba/Afourדֹּרוֹת׃do/ROTgenerations

    After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even four generations.

17. 17

    וַיָּמׇתvay/YA/motand he diedאִיּוֹבIy/YOVJobזָקֵןza/KENbeing oldוּשְׂבַעu/se/VAand full ofיָמִים׃ya/MIMdays

    So Job died, being old and full of days.
