   וַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand he answeredבִּלְדַּדBil/DADBildadהַשֻּׁחִיhash/Shu/CHIthe Shuhiteוַיֹּאמַר׃vay/yo/MARand said

   Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

   הַמְשֵׁלham/SHELdominionוָפַחַדva/FA/chadand dreadעִמּוֹim/MOare with Himעֹשֶׂהo/SEHe makesשָׁלוֹםsha/LOMpeaceבִּמְרוֹמָיו׃bim/ro/MAYVin His high places

   Dominion and fear are with him, he maketh peace in his high places.

   הֲיֵשׁha/YESHis thereמִסְפָּרmis/PARany numberלִגְדוּדָיוlig/du/DAYVto His troopsוְעַל־מִיve/AL-miand upon whomלֹא־יָקוּםlo-ya/KUMdoes not ariseאוֹרֵהוּ׃o/RE/huHis light

   Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom doth not his light arise?

   וּמַה־יִּצְדַּקu/MA-yits/DAKhow then can be righteousאֱנוֹשׁe/NOSHmanעִם־אֵלim-elwith Godוּמַה־יִּזְכֶּהu/MA-yiz/KEor how can be pureיְלוּדye/LUDborn ofאִשָּׁה׃ish/SHAa woman

   How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?

   הֵןhenbeholdעַד־יָרֵחַad-ya/RE/acheven the moonוְלֹאve/LOand notיַאֲהִילya/a/HILis brightוְכוֹכָבִיםve/kho/kha/VIMand the starsלֹא־זַכּוּlo-zak/KUare not pureבְעֵינָיו׃ve/e/NAYVin His eyes

   Behold even to the moon, and it shineth not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.

   אַףafhow muchכִּי־אֱנוֹשׁki-e/NOSHless manרִמָּהrim/MAa maggotוּבֶן־אָדָםu/VEN-a/DAMand a son of manתּוֹלֵעָה׃to/le/Aa worm

   How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?
