   The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

   עֲמֹדa/MODstandבְּשַׁעַרbe/SHA/arin the gate ofבֵּיתbetthe house ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוְקָרָאתָve/ka/RA/taand proclaimשָּׁםshamthereאֶת־הַדָּבָרet-had/da/VARthe wordהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand sayשִׁמְעוּshim/Uhearדְבַר־יְהֹוָהde/VAR-Adonaithe word of the LORDכׇּל־יְהוּדָהkol-Ye/hu/DAall you of Judahהַבָּאִיםhab/ba/IMwho enterבַּשְּׁעָרִיםbash/she/a/RIMat the gatesהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseלְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֺתle/hish/ta/cha/VOTto worshipלַיהֹוָה׃la-Adonaito the LORD

   Stand in the gate of the LORD's house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD.

   כֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDצְבָאוֹתtse/va/OTof hostsאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelהֵיטִיבוּhe/TI/vuamendדַרְכֵיכֶםdar/khe/KHEMyour waysוּמַעַלְלֵיכֶםu/ma/al/le/KHEMand your deedsוַאֲשַׁכְּנָהva/a/shak/ke/NAand I will let dwellאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouבַּמָּקוֹםbam/ma/KOMin the placeהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

   Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.

   Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these.

   כִּיkiforאִם־הֵיטֵיבim-he/TEVif amendתֵּיטִיבוּte/TI/vuyou amendאֶת־דַּרְכֵיכֶםet-dar/khe/KHEMyour waysוְאֶת־מַעַלְלֵיכֶםve/ET-ma/al/le/KHEMand your deedsאִם־עָשׂוֹim-a/SOif doתַעֲשׂוּta/a/SUyou doמִשְׁפָּטmish/PATjusticeבֵּיןbenbetweenאִישׁisha manוּבֵיןu/VENand betweenרֵעֵהוּ׃re/E/huhis neighbor

   For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour;

   גֵּרgerthe strangerיָתוֹםya/TOMthe fatherlessוְאַלְמָנָהve/al/ma/NAand a widowלֹאlonotתַעֲשֹׁקוּta/a/SHO/kuoppressוְדָםve/DAMand bloodנָקִיna/KIinnocentאַל־תִּשְׁפְּכוּal-tish/pe/KHUdo not shedבַּמָּקוֹםbam/ma/KOMin the placeהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוְאַחֲרֵיve/a/cha/REand afterאֱלֹהִים־אֲחֵרִיםe/lo/HIM-a/che/RIMother godsלֹאlonotתֵלְכוּtel/KHUwalkלְרַעle/RAto harmלָכֶם׃la/KHEMyourselves

   If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:

   וְשִׁכַּנְתִּיve/shik/kan/TIthen I will let dwellאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouבַּמָּקוֹםbam/ma/KOMin the placeהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisבָּאָרֶץba/A/retsin the landאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tiI gaveלַאֲבוֹתֵיכֶםla/a/vo/te/KHEMto your fathersלְמִן־עוֹלָםle/MIN-o/LAMfrom of oldוְעַד־עוֹלָם׃ve/AD-o/LAMeven forever

   Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.

   הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאַתֶּםat/TEMyou areבֹּטְחִיםbot/CHIMtrustלָכֶםla/KHEMfor yourselvesעַל־דִּבְרֵיal-div/REin the words ofהַשָּׁקֶרhash/SHA/kerfalsehoodלְבִלְתִּיle/vil/TIthat do notהוֹעִיל׃ho/ILprofit

   Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.

   הֲגָנֹבha/ga/NOVwill you stealרָצֹחַra/TSO/achwill you murderוְנָאֹףve/na/OFand will you commit adulteryוְהִשָּׁבֵעַve/hish/sha/VE/aand will you swearלַשֶּׁקֶרlash/SHE/kerfalselyוְקַטֵּרve/kat/TERand will you burn incenseלַבָּעַלlab/BA/alto Baalוְהָלֹךְve/ha/LOKHand will you walkאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterאֱלֹהִים־אֲחֵרִיםe/lo/HIM-a/che/RIMother godsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichלֹא־יְדַעְתֶּם׃lo-ye/da/TEMyou have not known

   Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not;

    וּבָאתֶםu/va/TEMand then comeוַעֲמַדְתֶּםva/a/mad/TEMand standלְפָנַיle/fa/NAYbefore meבַּבַּיִתbab/BA/yitin the houseהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנִקְרָא־שְׁמִיnik/RA-she/MIis called by my nameעָלָיוa/LAYVon itוַאֲמַרְתֶּםva/a/mar/TEMand sayנִצַּלְנוּnits/TSAL/nuwe are deliveredלְמַעַןle/MA/anonly toעֲשׂוֹתa/SOTdoאֵת־כׇּל־הַתּוֹעֵבוֹתet-kol-hat/to/e/VOTall the abominationsהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/EL/lethese

    And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?

    הַמְעָרַתham/a/RATa den ofפָּרִצִיםpa/ri/TSIMrobbersהָיָהha/YAhas becomeהַבַּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאֲשֶׁר־נִקְרָא־שְׁמִיa/SHER-nik/RA-she/MIwhich is called by my nameעָלָיוa/LAYVon itבְּעֵינֵיכֶםbe/e/ne/KHEMin your viewגַּםgamevenאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdרָאִיתִיra/I/tiI have seen itנְאֻם־יְהֹוָה׃ne/UM-Adonaisays the LORD

    Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.

    כִּיkiforלְכוּ־נָאle/KHU-nago nowאֶל־מְקוֹמִיel-me/ko/MIto my placeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich wasבְּשִׁילוֹbe/Shi/LOin Shilohאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereשִׁכַּנְתִּיshik/KAN/tiI setשְׁמִיshe/MImy nameשָׁםshamthereבָּרִאשׁוֹנָהba/ri/sho/NAat firstוּרְאוּu/re/Uand seeאֵת־אֲשֶׁר־עָשִׂיתִיet-a/SHER-a/SI/tiwhat I didלוֹloto itמִפְּנֵיmip/pe/NEbecause ofרָעַתra/ATthe wickedness ofעַמִּיam/MImy peopleיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

    But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowיַעַןYA/anbecauseעֲשׂוֹתְכֶםa/sot/KHEMyou have doneאֶת־כׇּל־הַמַּעֲשִׂיםet-kol-ham/ma/a/SIMall the worksהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDוָאֲדַבֵּרva/a/dab/BERand I spokeאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youהַשְׁכֵּםhash/KEMrising earlyוְדַבֵּרve/dab/BERand speakingוְלֹאve/LObut notשְׁמַעְתֶּםshe/ma/TEMdid you hearוָאֶקְרָאva/ek/RAand I calledאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouוְלֹאve/LObut notעֲנִיתֶם׃a/ni/TEMdid you answer

    And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not;

    וְעָשִׂיתִיve/a/SI/tiand I will doלַבַּיִתlab/BA/yitfor the houseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנִקְרָא־שְׁמִיnik/RA-she/MIis called by my nameעָלָיוa/LAYVon itאֲשֶׁרa/SHERin whichאַתֶּםat/TEMyou areבֹּטְחִיםbot/CHIMtrustבּוֹboin itוְלַמָּקוֹםve/lam/ma/KOMand to the placeאֲשֶׁר־נָתַתִּיa/SHER-na/TAT/tiwhich I gaveלָכֶםla/KHEMto youוְלַאֲבוֹתֵיכֶםve/la/a/vo/te/KHEMand to your fathersכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasעָשִׂיתִיa/SI/tiI didלְשִׁלוֹ׃le/Shi/LOto Shiloh

    Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.

    וְהִשְׁלַכְתִּיve/hish/lakh/TIand I will cast outאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouמֵעַלme/ALout ofפָּנָיpa/NAYmy sightכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasהִשְׁלַכְתִּיhish/LAKH/tiI have cast outאֶת־כׇּל־אֲחֵיכֶםet-kol-a/che/KHEMall your brothersאֵת־כׇּל־זֶרַעet-kol-ZE/rathe whole seed ofאֶפְרָיִם׃Ef/RA/yimEphraim

    And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim.

    וְאַתָּהve/at/TAand youאַל־תִּתְפַּלֵּלal-tit/pal/LELdo not prayבְּעַד־הָעָםbe/AD-ha/AMon behalf of the peopleהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוְאַל־תִּשָּׂאve/AL-tis/SAand do not lift upבַעֲדָםva/a/DAMfor themרִנָּהrin/NAa cryוּתְפִלָּהu/te/fil/LAand prayerוְאַל־תִּפְגַּע־בִּיve/AL-tif/GA-biand do not intercede with meכִּי־אֵינֶנִּיki-e/NEN/nifor I will notשֹׁמֵעַsho/ME/ahearאֹתָךְ׃o/TAKHyou

    Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.

17. 17

    הַאֵינְךָha/e/ne/KHAdo you notרֹאֶהro/EseeמָהmawhatהֵמָּהHEM/matheyעֹשִׂיםo/SIMare doingבְּעָרֵיbe/a/REin the cities ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahוּבְחֻצוֹתu/ve/chu/TSOTand in the streets ofיְרוּשָׁלָ͏ִם׃Ye/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalem

    Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?

18. 18

    הַבָּנִיםhab/ba/NIMthe childrenמְלַקְּטִיםme/lak/ke/TIMgathering upעֵצִיםe/TSIMwoodוְהָאָבוֹתve/ha/a/VOTand the fathersמְבַעֲרִיםme/va/a/RIMare kindlingאֶת־הָאֵשׁet-ha/ESHthe fireוְהַנָּשִׁיםve/han/na/SHIMand the womenלָשׁוֹתla/SHOTkneadבָּצֵקba/TSEKdoughלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto makeכַּוָּנִיםkav/va/NIMcakesלִמְלֶכֶתlim/LE/khetfor the queen ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensוְהַסֵּךְve/has/SEKHand they pour outנְסָכִיםne/sa/KHIMdrink offeringsלֵאלֹהִים־אֲחֵרִיםle/lo/HIM-a/che/RIMto other godsלְמַעַןle/MA/antoהַכְעִסֵנִי׃hakh/i/SE/niprovoke me to anger

    The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.

19. 19

    הַאֹתִיha/o/TIis it meהֵםhemtheyמַכְעִסִיםmakh/i/SIMprovokeנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDהֲלוֹאha/LOis it notאֹתָםo/TAMthemselvesלְמַעַןle/MA/antoבֹּשֶׁתBO/shetthe confusion ofפְּנֵיהֶם׃pe/ne/HEMtheir faces

    Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces?

20. 20

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאַפִּיap/PImy angerוַחֲמָתִיva/cha/ma/TIand my furyנִתֶּכֶתnit/TE/khetwill be poured outאֶל־הַמָּקוֹםel-ham/ma/KOMto the placeהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisעַל־הָאָדָםal-ha/a/DAMon manוְעַל־הַבְּהֵמָהve/AL-hab/be/he/MAand on beastוְעַל־עֵץve/AL-etsand on the trees ofהַשָּׂדֶהhas/sa/DEthe fieldוְעַל־פְּרִיve/AL-pe/RIand on the fruit ofהָאֲדָמָהha/a/da/MAthe groundוּבָעֲרָהu/va/a/RAand it will burnוְלֹאve/LOand notתִכְבֶּה׃tikh/BEbe quenched

    Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.

    כֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDצְבָאוֹתtse/va/OTof hostsאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelעֹלוֹתֵיכֶםo/lo/te/KHEMyour burnt offeringsסְפוּse/FUaddעַל־זִבְחֵיכֶםal-ziv/che/KHEMto your sacrificesוְאִכְלוּve/ikh/LUand eatבָשָׂר׃va/SARflesh

    Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.

22. 22

    כִּיkiforלֹא־דִבַּרְתִּיlo-dib/BAR/tiI did not speakאֶת־אֲבוֹתֵיכֶםet-a/vo/te/KHEMto your fathersוְלֹאve/LOnorצִוִּיתִיםtsiv/vi/TIMcommand themבְּיוֹםbe/YOMin the day(הוציא)havatsay[הוֹצִיאִי]ho/tsi/II brought outאוֹתָםo/TAMthemמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsfrom the land ofמִצְרָיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptעַל־דִּבְרֵיal-div/REconcerningעוֹלָהo/LAburnt offeringsוָזָבַח׃va/ZA/vachand sacrifice

    For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:

23. 23

    כִּיkibutאִם־אֶת־הַדָּבָרim-et-had/da/VARonly the wordהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisצִוִּיתִיtsiv/VI/tiI commandedאוֹתָםo/TAMthemלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingשִׁמְעוּshim/Uobeyבְקוֹלִיve/ko/LImy voiceוְהָיִיתִיve/ha/YI/tiand I will beלָכֶםla/KHEMto youלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMGodוְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMand youתִּהְיוּ־לִיtih/YU-liyou shall be to meלְעָםle/AMa peopleוַהֲלַכְתֶּםva/ha/lakh/TEMand walkבְּכׇל־הַדֶּרֶךְbe/KHOL-had/DE/rekhin all the wayאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאֲצַוֶּהa/tsav/VEI will commandאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouלְמַעַןle/MA/anin order thatיִיטַבyi/TAVit may be wellלָכֶם׃la/KHEMto you

    But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

24. 24

    וְלֹאve/LOand notשָׁמְעוּsha/me/Uthey obeyedוְלֹא־הִטּוּve/LO-hit/TUnor inclinedאֶת־אׇזְנָםet-oz/NAMtheir earוַיֵּלְכוּvay/yel/KHUbut walkedבְּמֹעֵצוֹתbe/mo/e/TSOTin the counselsבִּשְׁרִרוּתbish/ri/RUTin the stubbornness ofלִבָּםlib/BAMtheir heartsהָרָעha/RAevilוַיִּהְיוּvay/yih/YUand wentלְאָחוֹרle/a/CHORbackwardוְלֹאve/LOand notלְפָנִים׃le/fa/NIMforward

    But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

    לְמִן־הַיּוֹםle/MIN-hay/YOMfrom the dayאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיָצְאוּya/tse/Ucame outאֲבוֹתֵיכֶםa/vo/te/KHEMyour fathersמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsfrom the land ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptעַדaduntilהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthe dayהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוָאֶשְׁלַחva/esh/LACHand I sentאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youאֶת־כׇּל־עֲבָדַיet-kol-a/va/DAYall my servantsהַנְּבִיאִיםhan/ne/vi/IMthe prophetsיוֹםyomdailyהַשְׁכֵּםhash/KEMrising earlyוְשָׁלֹחַ׃ve/sha/LO/achand sending them

    Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:

26. 26

    וְלוֹאve/LOand notשָׁמְעוּsha/me/Udid they listenאֵלַיe/LAYto meוְלֹאve/LOnorהִטּוּhit/TUinclineאֶת־אׇזְנָםet-oz/NAMtheir earוַיַּקְשׁוּvay/yak/SHUbut stiffenedאֶת־עׇרְפָּםet-or/PAMtheir necksהֵרֵעוּhe/RE/uthey did worseמֵאֲבוֹתָם׃me/a/vo/TAMthan their fathers

    Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers.

27. 27

    וְדִבַּרְתָּve/dib/bar/TAso you shall speakאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themאֶת־כׇּל־הַדְּבָרִיםet-kol-had/de/va/RIMall the wordsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוְלֹאve/LObut notיִשְׁמְעוּyish/me/Uwill they listenאֵלֶיךָe/LE/khato youוְקָרָאתָve/ka/RA/taand you shall callאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themוְלֹאve/LObut notיַעֲנוּכָה׃ya/a/NU/khawill they answer you

    Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.

    וְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand sayאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themזֶהzethis isהַגּוֹיhag/GOYthe nationאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלוֹא־שָׁמְעוּlo-sha/me/Udid not obeyבְּקוֹלbe/KOLthe voice ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהָיוe/lo/HAYVhis Godוְלֹאve/LOnorלָקְחוּla/ke/CHUreceiveמוּסָרmu/SARcorrectionאָבְדָהa/ve/DAhas perishedהָאֱמוּנָהha/e/mu/NAfaithfulnessוְנִכְרְתָהve/nikh/re/TAand is cut offמִפִּיהֶם׃mip/pi/HEMfrom their mouth

    But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the LORD their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

    גׇּזִּיgoz/ZIcut offנִזְרֵךְniz/REKHyour hairוְהַשְׁלִיכִיve/hash/LI/khiand throw it awayוּשְׂאִיu/se/Iand take upעַל־שְׁפָיִםal-she/FA/yimon the bare heightsקִינָהki/NAa lamentationכִּיkiforמָאַסma/AShas rejectedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוַיִּטֹּשׁvay/yit/TOSHand has forsakenאֶת־דּוֹרet-dorthe generation ofעֶבְרָתוֹ׃ev/ra/TOHis wrath

    Cut off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.

    כִּי־עָשׂוּki-a/SUbecause they didבְנֵי־יְהוּדָהve/NE-ye/hu/DAthe sons of Judahהָרַעha/RAthe evilבְּעֵינַיbe/e/NAYin my eyesנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDשָׂמוּSA/muthey have setשִׁקּוּצֵיהֶםshik/ku/tse/HEMtheir detestable thingsבַּבַּיִתbab/BA/yitin the houseאֲשֶׁר־נִקְרָא־שְׁמִיa/SHER-nik/RA-she/MIwhich is called by my nameעָלָיוa/LAYVon itלְטַמְּאוֹ׃le/tam/me/Oto defile it

    For the children of Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it.

31. 31

    וּבָנוּu/va/NUand they have builtבָּמוֹתba/MOTthe high places ofהַתֹּפֶתHat/TO/fetTophetאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich isבְּגֵיאbe/GEin the valley ofבֶן־הִנֹּםven-Hin/NOMthe son of Hinnomלִשְׂרֹףlis/ROFto burnאֶת־בְּנֵיהֶםet-be/ne/HEMtheir sonsוְאֶת־בְּנֹתֵיהֶםve/ET-be/no/te/HEMand their daughtersבָּאֵשׁba/ESHby fireאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichלֹאlonotצִוִּיתִיtsiv/VI/tihave I commandedוְלֹאve/LOand notעָלְתָהa/le/TAdid it comeעַל־לִבִּי׃al-lib/BIinto my heart

    And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.

32. 32

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeהִנֵּה־יָמִיםhin/NE-ya/MIMbehold the daysבָּאִיםba/IMare comingנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDוְלֹא־יֵאָמֵרve/LO-ye/a/MERand it will not be calledעוֹדodagainהַתֹּפֶתHat/TO/fetTophetוְגֵיאve/GEand the valley ofבֶן־הִנֹּםven-Hin/NOMthe son of Hinnomכִּיkibutאִם־גֵּיאim-gethe valley ofהַהֲרֵגָהha/ha/re/GAslaughterוְקָבְרוּve/ka/ve/RUfor they will buryבְתֹפֶתve/TO/fetin Tophetמֵאֵיןme/ENuntil there is noמָקוֹם׃ma/KOMroom

    Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place.

33. 33

    וְהָיְתָהve/ha/ye/TAand will beנִבְלַתniv/LATthe corpse ofהָעָםha/AMthe peopleהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisלְמַאֲכָלle/ma/a/KHALfoodלְעוֹףle/OFfor the birds ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensוּלְבֶהֱמַתu/le/ve/he/MATand for the beasts ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthוְאֵיןve/ENand there is noמַחֲרִיד׃ma/cha/RIDone to frighten them away

    And the carcases of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away.

34. 34

    וְהִשְׁבַּתִּיve/hish/bat/TIthen I will cause to ceaseמֵעָרֵיme/a/REfrom the cities ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahוּמֵחֻצוֹתu/me/chu/TSOTand from the streets ofיְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalemקוֹלkolthe voice ofשָׂשׂוֹןsa/SONmirthוְקוֹלve/KOLand the voice ofשִׂמְחָהsim/CHAgladnessקוֹלkolthe voice ofחָתָןcha/TANthe bridegroomוְקוֹלve/KOLand the voice ofכַּלָּהkal/LAthe brideכִּיkiforלְחׇרְבָּהle/chor/BAa desolationתִּהְיֶהtih/YEwill becomeהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe land

    Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate.
