   And it came to pass in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that this word came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

   Take thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even unto this day.

   אוּלַיu/LAYperhapsיִשְׁמְעוּyish/me/Uwill hearבֵּיתbetthe house ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahאֵת־כׇּל־הָרָעָהet-kol-ha/ra/Aall the evilאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIחֹשֵׁבcho/SHEVplanלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto doלָהֶםla/HEMto themלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatיָשׁוּבוּya/SHU/vuthey may turnאִישׁisheachמִדַּרְכּוֹmid/dar/KOfrom his wayהָרָעָהha/ra/Aevilוְסָלַחְתִּיve/sa/lach/TIand I may forgiveלַעֲוֺנָםla/a/vo/NAMtheir iniquityוּלְחַטָּאתָם׃u/le/chat/ta/TAMand their sin

   It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do unto them; that they may return every man from his evil way; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.

   Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah: and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the LORD, which he had spoken unto him, upon a roll of a book.

   וַיְצַוֶּהvay/tsav/VEand he commandedיִרְמְיָהוּYir/me/YA/huJeremiahאֶת־בָּרוּךְet-Ba/RUKHBaruchלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingאֲנִיa/NIIעָצוּרa/TSURam restrainedלֹאlonotאוּכַלu/KHALableלָבוֹאla/VOto comeבֵּיתbetto the house ofיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

   And Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying, I am shut up; I cannot go into the house of the LORD:

   וּבָאתָu/VA/taso you goאַתָּהat/TAyouוְקָרָאתָve/ka/RA/taand readבַמְּגִלָּהvam/me/gil/LAin the scrollאֲשֶׁר־כָּתַבְתָּ־מִפִּיa/SHER-ka/TAV/ta-mip/PIwhich you have written at my dictationאֶת־דִּבְרֵיet-div/REthe words ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבְּאׇזְנֵיbe/oz/NEin the ears ofהָעָםha/AMthe peopleבֵּיתbetin the house ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבְּיוֹםbe/YOMon the day ofצוֹםtsomfastingוְגַםve/GAMand alsoבְּאׇזְנֵיbe/oz/NEin the ears ofכׇל־יְהוּדָהkhol-Ye/hu/DAall Judahהַבָּאִיםhab/ba/IMwho comeמֵעָרֵיהֶםme/a/re/HEMfrom their citiesתִּקְרָאֵם׃tik/ra/EMyou shall read them

   Therefore go thou, and read in the roll, which thou hast written from my mouth, the words of the LORD in the ears of the people in the LORD's house upon the fasting day: and also thou shalt read them in the ears of all Judah that come out of their cities.

   אוּלַיu/LAYperhapsתִּפֹּלtip/POLwill fallתְּחִנָּתָםte/chin/na/TAMtheir supplicationלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוְיָשֻׁבוּve/ya/SHU/vuand they will turnאִישׁisheachמִדַּרְכּוֹmid/dar/KOfrom his wayהָרָעָהha/ra/Aevilכִּי־גָדוֹלki-ga/DOLfor great isהָאַףha/AFthe angerוְהַחֵמָהve/ha/che/MAand the furyאֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּרa/SHER-dib/BERthat has pronouncedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־הָעָםel-ha/AMagainst the peopleהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

   It may be they will present their supplication before the LORD, and will return every one from his evil way: for great is the anger and the fury that the LORD hath pronounced against this people.

   וַיַּעַשׂvay/YA/asand he didבָּרוּךְBa/RUKHBaruchבֶּן־נֵרִיָּהben-Ne/riy/YAson of Neriahכְּכֹלke/KHOLaccording to allאֲשֶׁר־צִוָּהוּa/SHER-tsiv/VA/huthat commanded himיִרְמְיָהוּYir/me/YA/huJeremiahהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetלִקְרֹאlik/ROto readבַסֵּפֶרvas/SE/ferin the bookדִּבְרֵיdiv/REthe words ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבֵּיתbetin the house ofיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

   And Baruch the son of Neriah did according to all that Jeremiah the prophet commanded him, reading in the book the words of the LORD in the LORD's house.

   And it came to pass in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, in the ninth month, that they proclaimed a fast before the LORD to all the people in Jerusalem, and to all the people that came from the cities of Judah unto Jerusalem.

    Then read Baruch in the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of the LORD, in the chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan the scribe, in the higher court, at the entry of the new gate of the LORD's house, in the ears of all the people.

    וַיִּשְׁמַעvay/yish/MAand he heardמִכָיְהוּMi/KHAY/huMicaiahבֶן־גְּמַרְיָהוּven-Ge/mar/YA/huson of Gemariahבֶן־שָׁפָןven-Sha/FANson of Shaphanאֶת־כׇּל־דִּבְרֵיet-kol-div/REall the words ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמֵעַלme/ALfromהַסֵּפֶר׃has/SE/ferthe book

    When Michaiah the son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, had heard out of the book all the words of the LORD,

    וַיֵּרֶדvay/YE/redand went down toבֵּית־הַמֶּלֶךְbet-ham/ME/lekhthe king's houseעַל־לִשְׁכַּתal-lish/KATinto the chamber ofהַסֹּפֵרhas/so/FERthe scribeוְהִנֵּה־שָׁםve/hin/NE-shamand behold thereכׇּל־הַשָּׂרִיםkol-has/sa/RIMall the princesיוֹשְׁבִיםyosh/VIMsittingאֱלִישָׁמָעE/li/sha/MAElishamaהַסֹּפֵרhas/so/FERthe scribeוּדְלָיָהוּu/De/la/YA/huand Delaiahבֶן־שְׁמַעְיָהוּven-She/ma/YA/huson of Shemaiahוְאֶלְנָתָןve/El/na/TANand Elnathanבֶּן־עַכְבּוֹרben-Akh/BORson of Achborוּגְמַרְיָהוּu/Ge/mar/YA/huand Gemariahבֶן־שָׁפָןven-Sha/FANson of Shaphanוְצִדְקִיָּהוּve/Tsid/kiy/YA/huand Zedekiahבֶן־חֲנַנְיָהוּven-Cha/nan/YA/huson of Hananiahוְכׇל־הַשָּׂרִים׃ve/KHOL-has/sa/RIMand all the princes

    Then he went down into the king's house, into the scribe's chamber: and, lo, all the princes sat there, even Elishama the scribe, and Delaiah the son of Shemaiah, and Elnathan the son of Achbor, and Gemariah the son of Shaphan, and Zedekiah the son of Hananiah, and all the princes.

    וַיַּגֵּדvay/yag/GEDand he toldלָהֶםla/HEMto themמִכָיְהוּMi/KHAY/huMicaiahאֵת־כׇּל־הַדְּבָרִיםet-kol-had/de/va/RIMall the wordsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichשָׁמֵעַsha/ME/ahad heardבִּקְרֹאbik/ROwhen readבָרוּךְVa/RUKHBaruchבַּסֵּפֶרbas/SE/ferin the bookבְּאׇזְנֵיbe/oz/NEin the ears ofהָעָם׃ha/AMthe people

    Then Michaiah declared unto them all the words that he had heard, when Baruch read the book in the ears of the people.

    וַיִּשְׁלְחוּvay/yish/le/CHUand sentכׇל־הַשָּׂרִיםkhol-has/sa/RIMall the princesאֶל־בָּרוּךְel-Ba/RUKHto Baruchאֶת־יְהוּדִיet-Ye/hu/DIJehudiבֶּן־נְתַנְיָהוּben-Ne/tan/YA/huson of Nethaniahבֶּן־שֶׁלֶמְיָהוּben-She/lem/YA/huson of Shelemiahבֶן־כּוּשִׁיven-Ku/SHIson of Cushiלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingהַמְּגִלָּהham/me/gil/LAthe scrollאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichקָרָאתָka/RA/tayou have readבָּהּbain itבְּאׇזְנֵיbe/oz/NEin the ears ofהָעָםha/AMthe peopleקָחֶנָּהka/CHEN/natake itבְיָדְךָve/ya/de/KHAin your handוָלֵךְva/LEKHand goוַיִּקַּחvay/yik/KACHand tookבָּרוּךְBa/RUKHBaruchבֶּן־נֵרִיָּהוּben-Ne/riy/YA/huson of Neriahאֶת־הַמְּגִלָּהet-ham/me/gil/LAthe scrollבְּיָדוֹbe/ya/DOin his handוַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand cameאֲלֵיהֶם׃a/le/HEMto them

    Therefore all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, unto Baruch, saying, Take in thine hand the roll wherein thou hast read in the ears of the people, and come. So Baruch the son of Neriah took the roll in his hand, and came unto them.

    וַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himשֵׁבshevsitנָאnanowוּקְרָאֶנָּהu/ke/ra/EN/naand read itבְּאׇזְנֵינוּbe/oz/NE/nuin our earsוַיִּקְרָאvay/yik/RAand readבָרוּךְVa/RUKHBaruchבְּאׇזְנֵיהֶם׃be/oz/ne/HEMin their ears

    And they said unto him, Sit down now, and read it in our ears. So Baruch read it in their ears.

16. 16

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passכְּשׇׁמְעָםke/shom/AMwhen they heardאֶת־כׇּל־הַדְּבָרִיםet-kol-had/de/va/RIMall the wordsפָּחֲדוּpa/cha/DUthey turned in fearאִישׁishoneאֶל־רֵעֵהוּel-re/E/huto his neighborוַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidאֶל־בָּרוּךְel-Ba/RUKHto Baruchהַגֵּידhag/GEDtellנַגִּידnag/GIDwe will tellלַמֶּלֶךְlam/ME/lekhthe kingאֵת־כׇּל־הַדְּבָרִיםet-kol-had/de/va/RIMall the wordsהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/EL/lethese

    Now it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were afraid both one and other, and said unto Baruch, We will surely tell the king of all these words.

    וְאֶת־בָּרוּךְve/ET-ba/RUKHand Baruchשָׁאֲלוּsha/a/LUthey askedלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingהַגֶּד־נָאhag/GED-natell nowלָנוּLA/nuusאֵיךְekhhowכָּתַבְתָּka/TAV/tadid you writeאֶת־כׇּל־הַדְּבָרִיםet-kol-had/de/va/RIMall the wordsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseמִפִּיו׃mip/PIVfrom his mouth

    And they asked Baruch, saying, Tell us now, How didst thou write all these words at his mouth?

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidלָהֶםla/HEMto themבָּרוּךְBa/RUKHBaruchמִפִּיוmip/PIVfrom his mouthיִקְרָאyik/RAhe dictatedאֵלַיe/LAYto meאֵת־כׇּל־הַדְּבָרִיםet-kol-had/de/va/RIMall the wordsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iכֹּתֵבko/TEVwroteעַל־הַסֵּפֶרal-has/SE/ferin the bookבַּדְּיוֹ׃bad/de/YOwith the ink

    Then Baruch answered them, He pronounced all these words unto me with his mouth, and I wrote them with ink in the book.

    וַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidהַשָּׂרִיםhas/sa/RIMthe princesאֶל־בָּרוּךְel-Ba/RUKHto Baruchלֵךְlekhgoהִסָּתֵרhis/sa/TERhide yourselfאַתָּהat/TAyouוְיִרְמְיָהוּve/Yir/me/YA/huand Jeremiahוְאִישׁve/ISHand let no oneאַל־יֵדַעal-ye/DAknowאֵיפֹהe/FOwhereאַתֶּם׃at/TEMyou are

    Then said the princes unto Baruch, Go, hide thee, thou and Jeremiah; and let no man know where ye be.

    וַיָּבֹאוּvay/ya/VO/uand they cameאֶל־הַמֶּלֶךְel-ham/ME/lekhto the kingחָצֵרָהcha/TSE/rainto the courtוְאֶת־הַמְּגִלָּהve/ET-ham/me/gil/LAand the scrollהִפְקִדוּhif/KI/duthey had putבְּלִשְׁכַּתbe/lish/KATin the chamber ofאֱלִישָׁמָעE/li/sha/MAElishamaהַסֹּפֵרhas/so/FERthe scribeוַיַּגִּידוּvay/yag/GI/duand toldבְּאׇזְנֵיbe/oz/NEin the ears ofהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingאֵת־כׇּל־הַדְּבָרִים׃et-kol-had/de/va/RIMall the words

    And they went in to the king into the court, but they laid up the roll in the chamber of Elishama the scribe, and told all the words in the ears of the king.

    וַיִּשְׁלַחvay/yish/LACHand sentהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingאֶת־יְהוּדִיet-Ye/hu/DIJehudiלָקַחַתla/KA/chatto takeאֶת־הַמְּגִלָּהet-ham/me/gil/LAthe scrollוַיִּקָּחֶהָvay/yik/ka/CHE/haand he took itמִלִּשְׁכַּתmil/lish/KATfrom the chamber ofאֱלִישָׁמָעE/li/sha/MAElishamaהַסֹּפֵרhas/so/FERthe scribeוַיִּקְרָאֶהָvay/yik/ra/E/haand he read itיְהוּדִיYe/hu/DIJehudiבְּאׇזְנֵיbe/oz/NEin the ears ofהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingוּבְאׇזְנֵיu/ve/oz/NEand in the ears ofכׇּל־הַשָּׂרִיםkol-has/sa/RIMall the princesהָעֹמְדִיםha/om/DIMwho stoodמֵעַלme/ALbesideהַמֶּלֶךְ׃ham/ME/lekhthe king

    So the king sent Jehudi to fetch the roll: and he took it out of Elishama the scribe's chamber. And Jehudi read it in the ears of the king, and in the ears of all the princes which stood beside the king.

    וְהַמֶּלֶךְve/ham/ME/lekhand the kingיוֹשֵׁבyo/SHEVwas sittingבֵּיתbetin the house ofהַחֹרֶףha/CHO/refthe winterבַּחֹדֶשׁba/CHO/deshin the monthהַתְּשִׁיעִיhat/te/shi/Ithe ninthוְאֶת־הָאָחve/ET-ha/ACHand the brazierלְפָנָיוle/fa/NAYVbefore himמְבֹעָרֶת׃me/vo/A/retwas burning

    Now the king sat in the winterhouse in the ninth month: and there was a fire on the hearth burning before him.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passכִּקְרוֹאkik/ROwhen had readיְהוּדִיYe/hu/DIJehudiשָׁלֹשׁsha/LOSHthreeדְּלָתוֹתde/la/TOTcolumnsוְאַרְבָּעָהve/ar/ba/Aand fourיִקְרָעֶהָyik/ra/E/hahe would cut itבְּתַעַרbe/TA/arwith the knife ofהַסֹּפֵרhas/so/FERthe scribeוְהַשְׁלֵךְve/hash/LEKHand throwאֶל־הָאֵשׁel-ha/ESHinto the fireאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat wasאֶל־הָאָחel-ha/ACHin the brazierעַד־תֹּםad-tomuntil was consumedכׇּל־הַמְּגִלָּהkol-ham/me/gil/LAall the scrollעַל־הָאֵשׁal-ha/ESHin the fireאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat wasעַל־הָאָח׃al-ha/ACHon the brazier

    And it came to pass, that when Jehudi had read three or four leaves, he cut it with the penknife, and cast it into the fire that was on the hearth, until all the roll was consumed in the fire that was on the hearth.

    וְלֹאve/LOyet notפָחֲדוּfa/cha/DUwere they afraidוְלֹאve/LOnorקָרְעוּka/re/Udid they tearאֶת־בִּגְדֵיהֶםet-big/de/HEMtheir garmentsהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingוְכׇל־עֲבָדָיוve/KHOL-a/va/DAYVand all his servantsהַשֹּׁמְעִיםhash/shom/IMwho heardאֵת־כׇּל־הַדְּבָרִיםet-kol-had/de/va/RIMall the wordsהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/EL/lethese

    Yet they were not afraid, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words.

    Nevertheless Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah had made intercession to the king that he would not burn the roll: but he would not hear them.

    וַיְצַוֶּהvay/tsav/VEand commandedהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingאֶת־יְרַחְמְאֵלet-Ye/rach/me/ELJerahmeelבֶּן־הַמֶּלֶךְben-ham/ME/lekhson of the kingוְאֶת־שְׂרָיָהוּve/ET-se/ra/YA/huand Seraiahבֶן־עַזְרִיאֵלven-Az/ri/ELson of Azrielוְאֶת־שֶׁלֶמְיָהוּve/ET-she/lem/YA/huand Shelemiahבֶּן־עַבְדְּאֵלben-Av/de/ELson of Abdeelלָקַחַתla/KA/chatto seizeאֶת־בָּרוּךְet-Ba/RUKHBaruchהַסֹּפֵרhas/so/FERthe scribeוְאֵתve/ETandיִרְמְיָהוּYir/me/YA/huJeremiahהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetוַיַּסְתִּרֵםvay/yas/ti/REMbut hid themיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    But the king commanded Jerahmeel the son of Hammelech, and Seraiah the son of Azriel, and Shelemiah the son of Abdeel, to take Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet: but the LORD hid them.

27. 27

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passדְבַר־יְהֹוָהde/VAR-Adonaithe word of the LORDאֶל־יִרְמְיָהוּel-Yir/me/YA/huto Jeremiahאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterשְׂרֹףse/ROFhad burnedהַמֶּלֶךְham/ME/lekhthe kingאֶת־הַמְּגִלָּהet-ham/me/gil/LAthe scrollוְאֶת־הַדְּבָרִיםve/ET-had/de/va/RIMand the wordsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatכָּתַבka/TAVhad writtenבָּרוּךְBa/RUKHBaruchמִפִּיmip/PIfrom the mouth ofיִרְמְיָהוּYir/me/YA/huJeremiahלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, after that the king had burned the roll, and the words which Baruch wrote at the mouth of Jeremiah, saying,

    שׁוּבshuvagainקַח־לְךָkach-le/KHAtake for yourselfמְגִלָּהme/gil/LAa scrollאַחֶרֶתa/CHE/retanotherוּכְתֹבu/khe/TOVand writeעָלֶיהָa/LE/haon itאֵת־כׇּל־הַדְּבָרִיםet-kol-had/de/va/RIMall the wordsהָרִאשֹׁנִיםha/ri/sho/NIMformerאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהָיוּha/YUwereעַל־הַמְּגִלָּהal-ham/me/gil/LAon the scrollהָרִאשֹׁנָהha/ri/sho/NAthe firstאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichשָׂרַףsa/RAFhe burnedיְהוֹיָקִיםYe/ho/ya/KIMJehoiakimמֶלֶךְ־יְהוּדָה׃ME/lekh-Ye/hu/DAking of Judah

    Take thee again another roll, and write in it all the former words that were in the first roll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah hath burned.

29. 29

    וְעַל־יְהוֹיָקִיםve/AL-ye/ho/ya/KIMand concerning Jehoiakimמֶלֶךְ־יְהוּדָהME/lekh-Ye/hu/DAking of Judahתֹּאמַרto/MARyou shall sayכֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאַתָּהat/TAyouשָׂרַפְתָּsa/RAF/tayou burnedאֶת־הַמְּגִלָּהet-ham/me/gil/LAthe scrollהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingמַדּוּעַmad/DU/awhyכָּתַבְתָּka/TAV/tayou have writtenעָלֶיהָa/LE/haon itלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingבֹּא־יָבוֹאbo-ya/VOcome shall comeמֶלֶךְ־בָּבֶלME/lekh-Ba/VELking of Babylonוְהִשְׁחִיתve/hish/CHITand he will destroyאֶת־הָאָרֶץet-ha/A/retsthe landהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisוְהִשְׁבִּיתve/hish/BITand will cause to ceaseמִמֶּנָּהmim/MEN/nafrom itאָדָםa/DAMmanוּבְהֵמָה׃u/ve/he/MAand beast

    And thou shalt say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast burned this roll, saying, Why hast thou written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast?

30. 30

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDעַל־יְהוֹיָקִיםal-Ye/ho/ya/KIMconcerning JehoiakimמֶלֶךְME/lekhthe king ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahלֹא־יִהְיֶה־לּוֹlo-yih/YE-lohe will have no oneיוֹשֵׁבyo/SHEVto sitעַל־כִּסֵּאal-kis/SEon the throne ofדָוִדDa/VIDDavidוְנִבְלָתוֹve/niv/la/TOand his corpseתִּהְיֶהtih/YEwill beמֻשְׁלֶכֶתmush/LE/khetcast outלַחֹרֶבla/CHO/revto the heatבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMin the dayוְלַקֶּרַחve/lak/KE/rachand to the frostבַּלָּיְלָה׃bal/LAY/laby night

    Therefore thus saith the LORD of Jehoiakim king of Judah; He shall have none to sit upon the throne of David: and his dead body shall be cast out in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost.

31. 31

    וּפָקַדְתִּיu/fa/kad/TIand I will punishעָלָיוa/LAYVhimוְעַל־זַרְעוֹve/AL-zar/Oand his seedוְעַל־עֲבָדָיוve/AL-a/va/DAYVand his servantsאֶת־עֲוֺנָםet-a/vo/NAMtheir iniquityוְהֵבֵאתִיve/he/ve/TIand I will bringעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMon themוְעַל־יֹשְׁבֵיve/AL-yosh/VEand on the inhabitants ofיְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalemוְאֶל־אִישׁve/EL-ishand on the men ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahאֵת־כׇּל־הָרָעָהet-kol-ha/ra/Aall the evilאֲשֶׁר־דִּבַּרְתִּיa/SHER-dib/BAR/tithat I have pronouncedאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMagainst themוְלֹאve/LObut notשָׁמֵעוּ׃sha/ME/udid they listen

    And I will punish him and his seed and his servants for their iniquity; and I will bring upon them, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and upon the men of Judah, all the evil that I have pronounced against them; but they hearkened not.

32. 32

    וְיִרְמְיָהוּve/Yir/me/YA/huand Jeremiahלָקַחla/KACHtookמְגִלָּהme/gil/LAa scrollאַחֶרֶתa/CHE/retanotherוַיִּתְּנָהּvay/yit/te/NAand he gave itאֶל־בָּרוּךְel-Ba/RUKHto Baruchבֶּן־נֵרִיָּהוּben-Ne/riy/YA/huson of Neriahהַסֹּפֵרhas/so/FERthe scribeוַיִּכְתֹּבvay/yikh/TOVwho wroteעָלֶיהָa/LE/haon itמִפִּיmip/PIfrom the mouth ofיִרְמְיָהוּYir/me/YA/huJeremiahאֵת־כׇּל־דִּבְרֵיet-kol-div/REall the words ofהַסֵּפֶרhas/SE/ferthe bookאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichשָׂרַףsa/RAFhe burnedיְהוֹיָקִיםYe/ho/ya/KIMJehoiakimמֶלֶךְ־יְהוּדָהME/lekh-Ye/hu/DAking of Judahבָּאֵשׁba/ESHby fireוְעוֹדve/ODand besidesנוֹסַףno/SAFwere addedעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themדְּבָרִיםde/va/RIMwordsרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyכָּהֵמָּה׃ka/HEM/malike them

    Then took Jeremiah another roll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah; who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire: and there were added besides unto them many like words.
