   בָּעֵתba/ETat the timeהַהִיאha/HIthatנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDאֶהְיֶהeh/YEwill I beלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMGodלְכֹלle/KHOLto allמִשְׁפְּחוֹתmish/pe/CHOTthe families ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוְהֵמָּהve/HEM/maand theyיִהְיוּ־לִיyih/YU-liwill be to meלְעָם׃le/AMa people

   At the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.

   כֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמָצָאma/TSAfoundחֵןchenfavorבַּמִּדְבָּרbam/mid/BARin the wildernessעַםamthe peopleשְׂרִידֵיse/RI/dewho survivedחָרֶבCHA/revthe swordהָלוֹךְha/LOKHgoלְהַרְגִּיעוֹle/har/gi/Oto give him restיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

   Thus saith the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.

   The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

   עוֹדodagainאֶבְנֵךְev/NEKHI will build youוְנִבְנֵיתve/niv/NETand you will be builtבְּתוּלַתbe/tu/LATO virgin ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelעוֹדodagainתַּעְדִּיta/DIyou will adorn yourself withתֻפַּיִךְtup/PA/yikhyour tambourinesוְיָצָאתve/ya/TSATand go outבִּמְחוֹלbim/CHOLin the dance ofמְשַׂחֲקִים׃me/sa/cha/KIMthem that make merry

   Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.

   עוֹדodagainתִּטְּעִיtit/te/Iyou shall plantכְרָמִיםkhe/ra/MIMvineyardsבְּהָרֵיbe/ha/REin the mountains ofשֹׁמְרוֹןShom/RONSamariaנָטְעוּna/te/Uwill plantנֹטְעִיםnot/IMthe plantersוְחִלֵּלוּ׃ve/chil/LE/luand shall enjoy the fruit

   Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.

   כִּיkiforיֶשׁ־יוֹםyesh-yomthere will be a dayקָרְאוּka/re/Uwill cryנֹצְרִיםnots/RIMwatchmenבְּהַרbe/HARon MountאֶפְרָיִםEf/RA/yimEphraimקוּמוּKU/muariseוְנַעֲלֶהve/na/a/LEand let us go upצִיּוֹןTsiy/YONto Zionאֶל־יְהֹוָהel-Adonaito the LORDאֱלֹהֵינוּ׃e/lo/HE/nuour God

   For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.

   כִּי־כֹהki-khofor thusאָמַרa/MARsaysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDרׇנּוּron/NUsingלְיַעֲקֹבle/Ya/a/KOVfor Jacobשִׂמְחָהsim/CHAwith gladnessוְצַהֲלוּve/tsa/ha/LUand shoutבְּרֹאשׁbe/ROSHat the head ofהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMthe nationsהַשְׁמִיעוּhash/MI/uproclaimהַלְלוּHAL/lupraiseוְאִמְרוּve/im/RUand sayהוֹשַׁעho/SHAsaveיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDאֶת־עַמְּךָet-am/me/KHAYour peopleאֵת־שְׁאֵרִיתet-she/e/RITthe remnant ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

   For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.

   הִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iמֵבִיאme/VIwill bringאוֹתָםo/TAMthemמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsfrom the land ofצָפוֹןtsa/FONthe northוְקִבַּצְתִּיםve/kib/bats/TIMand I will gather themמִיַּרְכְּתֵי־אָרֶץmiy/yar/ke/TE-A/retsfrom the ends of the earthבָּםbamamong themעִוֵּרiv/VERthe blindוּפִסֵּחַu/fis/SE/achand the lameהָרָהha/RAthe pregnant womanוְיֹלֶדֶתve/yo/LE/detand she who is in laborיַחְדָּוyach/DAVtogetherקָהָלka/HALa companyגָּדוֹלga/DOLgreatיָשׁוּבוּya/SHU/vuthey shall returnהֵנָּה׃HEN/nahere

   Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither.

   בִּבְכִיbiv/KHIin weepingיָבֹאוּya/VO/uthey shall comeוּבְתַחֲנוּנִיםu/ve/ta/cha/nu/NIMand with supplicationsאוֹבִילֵםo/vi/LEMI will bring themאוֹלִיכֵםo/li/KHEMI will lead themאֶל־נַחֲלֵיel-NA/cha/leby streams ofמַיִםMA/yimwaterבְּדֶרֶךְbe/DE/rekhon a wayיָשָׁרya/SHARstraightלֹאlonotיִכָּשְׁלוּyik/ka/she/LUwill they stumbleבָּהּbain itכִּי־הָיִיתִיki-ha/YI/tifor I amלְיִשְׂרָאֵלle/Yis/ra/ELto Israelלְאָבle/AVa fatherוְאֶפְרַיִםve/Ef/RA/yimand Ephraimבְּכֹרִיbe/KHO/rimy firstbornהוּא׃huis he

   They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

    Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.

    כִּי־פָדָהki-fa/DAfor has ransomedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־יַעֲקֹבet-Ya/a/KOVJacobוּגְאָלוֹu/ge/a/LOand redeemed himמִיַּדmiy/YADfrom the hand ofחָזָקcha/ZAKone strongerמִמֶּנּוּ׃mim/MEN/nuthan he

    For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.

12. 12

    וּבָאוּu/VA/uand they will comeוְרִנְּנוּve/rin/ne/NUand singבִמְרוֹם־צִיּוֹןvim/ROM-Tsiy/YONon the height of Zionוְנָהֲרוּve/na/ha/RUand streamאֶל־טוּבel-tuvto the goodness ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDעַל־דָּגָןal-da/GANover the grainוְעַל־תִּירֹשׁve/AL-ti/ROSHand over the new wineוְעַל־יִצְהָרve/AL-yits/HARand over the oilוְעַל־בְּנֵי־צֹאןve/AL-be/NE-tsonand over the young of the flockוּבָקָרu/va/KARand the herdוְהָיְתָהve/ha/ye/TAand will beנַפְשָׁםnaf/SHAMtheir soulכְּגַןke/GANlike the garden ofרָוֶהra/VEwateredוְלֹא־יוֹסִיפוּve/LO-yo/SI/fuand they will no moreלְדַאֲבָהle/da/a/VAlanguishעוֹד׃odagain

    Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.

13. 13

    אָזazthenתִּשְׂמַחtis/MACHwill rejoiceבְּתוּלָהbe/tu/LAthe virginבְּמָחוֹלbe/ma/CHOLin the danceוּבַחֻרִיםu/va/chu/RIMand young menוּזְקֵנִיםu/ze/ke/NIMand oldיַחְדָּוyach/DAVtogetherוְהָפַכְתִּיve/ha/fakh/TIfor I will turnאֶבְלָםev/LAMtheir mourningלְשָׂשׂוֹןle/sa/SONto joyוְנִחַמְתִּיםve/ni/cham/TIMand I will comfort themוְשִׂמַּחְתִּיםve/sim/mach/TIMand make them rejoiceמִיגוֹנָם׃mi/go/NAMfrom their sorrow

    Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

14. 14

    וְרִוֵּיתִיve/riv/ve/TIand I will satisfyנֶפֶשׁNE/feshthe soul ofהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsדָּשֶׁןDA/shenwith abundanceוְעַמִּיve/am/MIand my peopleאֶת־טוּבִיet-tu/VImy goodnessיִשְׂבָּעוּyis/BA/uwill be satisfiedנְאֻם־יְהֹוָה׃ne/UM-Adonaisays the LORD

    And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the LORD.

15. 15

    כֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDקוֹלkola voiceבְּרָמָהbe/Ra/MAin Ramahנִשְׁמָעnish/MAis heardנְהִיne/HIlamentationבְּכִיbe/KHIweepingתַמְרוּרִיםtam/ru/RIMbitterרָחֵלRa/CHELRachelמְבַכָּהme/vak/KAweepingעַל־בָּנֶיהָal-ba/NE/hafor her childrenמֵאֲנָהme/a/NAshe refusedלְהִנָּחֵםle/hin/na/CHEMto be comfortedעַל־בָּנֶיהָal-ba/NE/hafor her childrenכִּיkibecauseאֵינֶנּוּ׃e/NEN/nuthey are no more

    Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.

16. 16

    כֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמִנְעִיmin/Ikeepקוֹלֵךְko/LEKHyour voiceמִבֶּכִיmib/BE/khifrom weepingוְעֵינַיִךְve/e/NA/yikhand your eyesמִדִּמְעָהmid/dim/Afrom tearsכִּיkiforיֵשׁyeshthere isשָׂכָרsa/KHARa rewardלִפְעֻלָּתֵךְlif/ul/la/TEKHfor your workנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDוְשָׁבוּve/SHA/vuand they will returnמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsfrom the land ofאוֹיֵב׃o/YEVthe enemy

    Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.

17. 17

    וְיֵשׁ־תִּקְוָהve/YESH-tik/VAand there is hopeלְאַחֲרִיתֵךְle/a/cha/ri/TEKHfor your futureנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDוְשָׁבוּve/SHA/vuand will returnבָנִיםva/NIMyour childrenלִגְבוּלָם׃lig/vu/LAMto their own territory

    And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border.

18. 18

    שָׁמוֹעַsha/MO/ahearשָׁמַעְתִּיsha/MA/tiI have heardאֶפְרַיִםEf/RA/yimEphraimמִתְנוֹדֵדmit/no/DEDgrievingיִסַּרְתַּנִיyis/sar/TA/niYou have disciplined meוָאִוָּסֵרva/iv/va/SERand I was disciplinedכְּעֵגֶלke/E/gellike a calfלֹאlonotלֻמָּדlum/MADtrainedהֲשִׁבֵנִיha/shi/VE/niturn me backוְאָשׁוּבָהve/a/SHU/vaand I will returnכִּיkiforאַתָּהat/TAYou areיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהָי׃e/lo/HAYmy God

    I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God.

19. 19

    כִּי־אַחֲרֵיki-a/cha/REfor afterשׁוּבִיSHU/viI turned awayנִחַמְתִּיni/CHAM/tiI repentedוְאַחֲרֵיve/a/cha/REand afterהִוָּדְעִיhiv/va/de/II was taughtסָפַקְתִּיsa/FAK/tiI struckעַל־יָרֵךְal-ya/REKHupon my thighבֹּשְׁתִּיBOSH/tiI was ashamedוְגַם־נִכְלַמְתִּיve/GAM-nikh/LAM/tiand also humiliatedכִּיkibecauseנָשָׂאתִיna/SA/tiI boreחֶרְפַּתcher/PATthe reproach ofנְעוּרָי׃ne/u/RAYmy youth

    Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.

    הֲבֵןha/VENis a sonיַקִּירyak/KIRdearלִיlito meאֶפְרַיִםEf/RA/yimEphraimאִםimorיֶלֶדYE/leda child ofשַׁעֲשֻׁעִיםsha/a/shu/IMdelightכִּי־מִדֵּיki-mid/DEfor as often asדַבְּרִיdab/be/RII speakבּוֹboagainst himזָכֹרza/KHORrememberאֶזְכְּרֶנּוּez/ke/REN/nuI will remember himעוֹדodstillעַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeהָמוּha/MUyearnמֵעַיme/AYmy bowelsלוֹlofor himרַחֵםra/CHEMhave compassionאֲרַחֲמֶנּוּa/ra/cha/MEN/nuI will have compassion on himנְאֻם־יְהֹוָה׃ne/UM-Adonaisays the LORD

    Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.

    Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.

22. 22

    עַד־מָתַיad-ma/TAYhow longתִּתְחַמָּקִיןtit/cham/ma/KINwill you waverהַבַּתhab/BATO daughterהַשּׁוֹבֵבָהhash/sho/ve/VAbackslidingכִּי־בָרָאki-va/RAfor has createdיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDחֲדָשָׁהcha/da/SHAa new thingבָּאָרֶץba/A/retsin the earthנְקֵבָהne/ke/VAa womanתְּסוֹבֵבte/SO/vevwill encompassגָּבֶר׃GA/vera man

    How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.

23. 23

    כֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDצְבָאוֹתtse/va/OTof hostsאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelעוֹדodagainיֹאמְרוּyo/me/RUthey will sayאֶת־הַדָּבָרet-had/da/VARthe wordהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahוּבְעָרָיוu/ve/a/RAYVand in its citiesבְּשׁוּבִיbe/shu/VIwhen I turn backאֶת־שְׁבוּתָםet-she/vu/TAMtheir captivityיְבָרֶכְךָye/va/rekh/KHAmay bless youיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDנְוֵה־צֶדֶקne/VE-TSE/dekO dwelling of righteousnessהַרharO mountain ofהַקֹּדֶשׁ׃hak/KO/deshholiness

    Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.

24. 24

    וְיָשְׁבוּve/ya/she/VUand will dwellבָהּvain itיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahוְכׇל־עָרָיוve/KHOL-a/RAYVand all its citiesיַחְדָּוyach/DAVtogetherאִכָּרִיםik/ka/RIMfarmersוְנָסְעוּve/na/se/Uand those who travelבַּעֵדֶר׃ba/E/derwith the flocks

    And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.

25. 25

    כִּיkiforהִרְוֵיתִיhir/VE/tiI will satisfyנֶפֶשׁNE/feshthe soulעֲיֵפָהa/ye/FAwearyוְכׇל־נֶפֶשׁve/KHOL-NE/feshand every soulדָּאֲבָהda/a/VAlanguishingמִלֵּאתִי׃mil/LE/tiI will replenish

    For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.

26. 26

    עַל־זֹאתal-zotat thisהֱקִיצֹתִיhe/ki/TSO/tiI awokeוָאֶרְאֶהva/er/Eand lookedוּשְׁנָתִיu/she/na/TIand my sleepעָרְבָהAR/vawas sweetלִּי׃lito me

    Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me.

27. 27

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdיָמִיםya/MIMthe daysבָּאִיםba/IMare comingנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDוְזָרַעְתִּיve/za/ra/TIwhen I will sowאֶת־בֵּיתet-betthe house ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוְאֶת־בֵּיתve/ET-betand the house ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahזֶרַעZE/rawith the seed ofאָדָםa/DAMmanוְזֶרַעve/ZE/raand the seed ofבְּהֵמָה׃be/he/MAbeast

    Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.

28. 28

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall come to passכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasשָׁקַדְתִּיsha/KAD/tiI have watchedעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMover themלִנְתוֹשׁlin/TOSHto pluck upוְלִנְתוֹץve/lin/TOTSand to pull downוְלַהֲרֹסve/la/ha/ROSand to overthrowוּלְהַאֲבִידu/le/ha/a/VIDand to destroyוּלְהָרֵעַu/le/ha/RE/aand to bring evilכֵּןkensoאֶשְׁקֹדesh/KODwill I watch overעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMover themלִבְנוֹתliv/NOTto buildוְלִנְטֹעַve/lin/TO/aand to plantנְאֻם־יְהֹוָה׃ne/UM-Adonaisays the LORD

    And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD.

29. 29

    בַּיָּמִיםbay/ya/MIMin the daysהָהֵםha/HEMthoseלֹא־יֹאמְרוּlo-yo/me/RUthey will not sayעוֹדodagainאָבוֹתa/VOTthe fathersאָכְלוּa/khe/LUhave eatenבֹסֶרVO/sersour grapesוְשִׁנֵּיve/shin/NEand the teeth ofבָנִיםva/NIMthe childrenתִּקְהֶינָה׃tik/HE/naare set on edge

    In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.

    כִּיkibutאִם־אִישׁim-isheachבַּעֲוֺנוֹba/a/vo/NOin his iniquityיָמוּתya/MUTwill dieכׇּל־הָאָדָםkol-ha/a/DAMevery manהָאֹכֵלha/o/KHELwho eatsהַבֹּסֶרhab/BO/serthe sour grapesתִּקְהֶינָהtik/HE/nashall be set on edgeשִׁנָּיו׃shin/NAYVhis teeth

    But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.

31. 31

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdיָמִיםya/MIMthe daysבָּאִיםba/IMare comingנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDוְכָרַתִּיve/kha/rat/TIwhen I will makeאֶת־בֵּיתet-betwith the house ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוְאֶת־בֵּיתve/ET-betand with the house ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahבְּרִיתbe/RITa covenantחֲדָשָׁה׃cha/da/SHAnew

    Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

32. 32

    לֹאlonotכַבְּרִיתkhab/be/RITlike the covenantאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichכָּרַתִּיka/RAT/tiI madeאֶת־אֲבוֹתָםet-a/vo/TAMwith their fathersבְּיוֹםbe/YOMin the day ofהֶחֱזִיקִיhe/che/zi/KII tookבְיָדָםve/ya/DAMby the handלְהוֹצִיאָםle/ho/tsi/AMto bring them outמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsfrom the land ofמִצְרָיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptאֲשֶׁר־הֵמָּהa/SHER-HEM/mawhich theyהֵפֵרוּhe/FE/rubrokeאֶת־בְּרִיתִיet-be/ri/TImy covenantוְאָנֹכִיve/a/no/KHIthough Iבָּעַלְתִּיba/AL/tiwas a husbandבָםvamto themנְאֻם־יְהֹוָה׃ne/UM-Adonaisays the LORD

    Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

33. 33

    כִּיkibutזֹאתzotthisהַבְּרִיתhab/be/RITthe covenantאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאֶכְרֹתekh/ROTI will makeאֶת־בֵּיתet-betwith the house ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterהַיָּמִיםhay/ya/MIMthe daysהָהֵםha/HEMthoseנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tiI will putאֶת־תּוֹרָתִיet-to/ra/TImy lawבְּקִרְבָּםbe/kir/BAMin their inward partsוְעַל־לִבָּםve/AL-lib/BAMand upon their heartsאֶכְתְּבֶנָּהekh/te/VEN/naI will write itוְהָיִיתִיve/ha/YI/tiand I will beלָהֶםla/HEMto themלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMGodוְהֵמָּהve/HEM/maand theyיִהְיוּ־לִיyih/YU-liwill be to meלְעָם׃le/AMa people

    But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

34. 34

    וְלֹאve/LOand notיְלַמְּדוּye/lam/me/DUwill they teachעוֹדodagainאִישׁisheachאֶת־רֵעֵהוּet-re/E/huhis neighborוְאִישׁve/ISHand eachאֶת־אָחִיוet-a/CHIVhis brotherלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingדְּעוּde/Uknowאֶת־יְהֹוָהet-Adonaithe LORDכִּי־כוּלָּםki-khul/LAMfor they allיֵדְעוּyed/Uwill knowאוֹתִיo/TImeלְמִקְּטַנָּםle/mik/ke/tan/NAMfrom the least of themוְעַד־גְּדוֹלָםve/AD-ge/do/LAMto the greatest of themנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDכִּיkiforאֶסְלַחes/LACHI will forgiveלַעֲוֺנָםla/a/vo/NAMtheir iniquityוּלְחַטָּאתָםu/le/chat/ta/TAMand their sinלֹאlonotאֶזְכָּר־עוֹד׃ez/KAR-odwill I remember again

    And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

35. 35

    כֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDנֹתֵןno/TENwho givesשֶׁמֶשׁSHE/meshthe sunלְאוֹרle/ORfor lightיוֹמָםyo/MAMby dayחֻקֹּתchuk/KOTthe ordinances ofיָרֵחַya/RE/achthe moonוְכוֹכָבִיםve/kho/kha/VIMand the starsלְאוֹרle/ORfor lightלָיְלָהLAY/laby nightרֹגַעro/GAwho stirsהַיָּםhay/YAMthe seaוַיֶּהֱמוּvay/ye/he/MUso that roarגַלָּיוgal/LAYVits wavesיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDצְבָאוֹתtse/va/OTof hostsשְׁמוֹ׃she/MOis His name

    Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:

36. 36

    אִם־יָמֻשׁוּim-ya/MU/shuif departהַחֻקִּיםha/chuk/KIMordinancesהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseמִלְּפָנַיmil/le/fa/NAYfrom before meנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDגַּםgamthen alsoזֶרַעZE/rathe seed ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelיִשְׁבְּתוּyish/be/TUwill ceaseמִהְיוֹתmih/YOTfrom beingגּוֹיgoya nationלְפָנַיle/fa/NAYbefore meכׇּל־הַיָּמִים׃kol-hay/ya/MIMall the days

    If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.

37. 37

    כֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאִם־יִמַּדּוּim-yim/MAD/duif can be measuredשָׁמַיִםsha/MA/yimthe heavensמִלְמַעְלָהmil/MA/laaboveוְיֵחָקְרוּve/ye/cha/ke/RUand be searched outמוֹסְדֵי־אֶרֶץMOS/de-E/retsthe foundations of the earthלְמָטָּהle/MAT/tabeneathגַּם־אֲנִיgam-a/NIthen I alsoאֶמְאַסem/ASI will cast offבְּכׇל־זֶרַעbe/KHOL-ZE/raall the seed ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelעַל־כׇּל־אֲשֶׁרal-kol-a/SHERfor all thatעָשׂוּa/SUthey didנְאֻם־יְהֹוָה׃ne/UM-Adonaisays the LORD

    Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.

38. 38

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdיָמִיםya/MIMthe days[בָּאִים]ba/IMare comingנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDוְנִבְנְתָהve/niv/ne/TAwhen will be builtהָעִירha/IRthe cityלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaifor the LORDמִמִּגְדַּלmim/mig/DALfrom the tower ofחֲנַנְאֵלCha/nan/ELHananeelשַׁעַרSHA/arthe gate ofהַפִּנָּה׃hap/pin/NAthe corner

    Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.

39. 39

    וְיָצָאve/ya/TSAand will go outעוֹדodstill(קוה)kavah[קָו]kavthe line ofהַמִּדָּהham/mid/DAmeasureנֶגְדּוֹneg/DOstraight aheadעַלaltoגִּבְעַתgiv/ATthe hill ofגָּרֵבGa/REVGarebוְנָסַבve/na/SAVand turnגֹּעָתָה׃Go/A/tato Goah

    And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.

40. 40

    וְכׇל־הָעֵמֶקve/KHOL-ha/E/mekand all the valleyהַפְּגָרִיםhap/pe/ga/RIMof corpsesוְהַדֶּשֶׁןve/had/DE/shenand of ashesוְכׇל־[הַשְּׁדֵמוֹת]ve/KHOL-hash/she/de/MOTand all the fieldsעַד־נַחַלad-NA/chalto the brookקִדְרוֹןKid/RONKidronעַד־פִּנַּתad-pin/NATto the corner ofשַׁעַרSHA/arthe gate ofהַסּוּסִיםhas/su/SIMthe horseמִזְרָחָהmiz/RA/chaeastwardקֹדֶשׁKO/deshwill be holyלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDלֹא־יִנָּתֵשׁlo-yin/na/TESHit will not be plucked upוְלֹא־יֵהָרֵסve/LO-ye/ha/RESnor overthrownעוֹדodagainלְעוֹלָם׃le/o/LAMforever

    And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.
