   And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, which was of Gibeon, spake unto me in the house of the LORD, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,

   כֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDצְבָאוֹתtse/va/OTof hostsאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingשָׁבַרְתִּיsha/VAR/tiI have brokenאֶת־עֹלet-olthe yoke ofמֶלֶךְME/lekhthe king ofבָּבֶל׃Ba/VELBabylon

   Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.

   בְּעוֹדbe/ODwithinשְׁנָתַיִםshe/na/TA/yimtwo years ofיָמִיםya/MIMdaysאֲנִיa/NIIמֵשִׁיבme/SHIVwill bring backאֶל־הַמָּקוֹםel-ham/ma/KOMto the placeהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאֶת־כׇּל־כְּלֵיet-kol-ke/LEall the vessels ofבֵּיתbetthe house ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלָקַחla/KACHtookנְבוּכַדְנֶאצַּרNe/vu/khad/ne/TSARNebuchadnezzarמֶלֶךְ־בָּבֶלME/lekh-Ba/VELking of Babylonמִן־הַמָּקוֹםmin-ham/ma/KOMfrom the placeהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוַיְבִיאֵםvay/vi/EMand carriedבָּבֶל׃ba/VELto Babylon

   Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of the LORD's house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them to Babylon:

4. 4

   וְאֶת־יְכׇנְיָהve/ET-ye/khon/YAand Jeconiahבֶן־יְהוֹיָקִיםven-Ye/ho/ya/KIMson of Jehoiakimמֶלֶךְ־יְהוּדָהME/lekh-Ye/hu/DAking of Judahוְאֶת־כׇּל־גָּלוּתve/ET-kol-ga/LUTand all the exiles ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahהַבָּאִיםhab/ba/IMwho wentבָּבֶלָהba/VE/lainto Babylonאֲנִיa/NIIמֵשִׁיבme/SHIVwill bring backאֶל־הַמָּקוֹםel-ham/ma/KOMto the placeהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDכִּיkiforאֶשְׁבֹּרesh/BORI will breakאֶת־עֹלet-olthe yoke ofמֶלֶךְME/lekhthe king ofבָּבֶל׃Ba/VELBabylon

   And I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, saith the LORD: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיִרְמְיָהYir/me/YAJeremiahהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetאֶל־חֲנַנְיָהel-Cha/nan/YAto Hananiahהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetלְעֵינֵיle/e/NEin the presence ofהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsוּלְעֵינֵיu/le/e/NEand in the presence ofכׇל־הָעָםkhol-ha/AMall the peopleהָעֹמְדִיםha/om/DIMthat stoodבְּבֵיתbe/VETin the house ofיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

   Then the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of the LORD,

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיִרְמְיָהYir/me/YAJeremiahהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetאָמֵןa/MENamenכֵּןkensoיַעֲשֶׂהya/a/SEmay doיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDיָקֵםya/KEMmay establishיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־דְּבָרֶיךָet-de/va/RE/khayour wordsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנִבֵּאתָnib/BE/tayou have prophesiedלְהָשִׁיבle/ha/SHIVto bring backכְּלֵיke/LEthe vessels ofבֵית־יְהֹוָהvet-Adonaihouse of the LORDוְכׇל־הַגּוֹלָהve/KHOL-hag/go/LAand all the exilesמִבָּבֶלmib/Ba/VELfrom Babylonאֶל־הַמָּקוֹםel-ham/ma/KOMto the placeהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

   Even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the LORD do so: the LORD perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the LORD's house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place.

   אַךְ־שְׁמַע־נָאakh-she/MA-naonly hear nowהַדָּבָרhad/da/VARthe wordהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIדֹּבֵרdo/VERspeakבְּאׇזְנֶיךָbe/oz/NE/khain your earsוּבְאׇזְנֵיu/ve/oz/NEand in the ears ofכׇּל־הָעָם׃kol-ha/AMall the people

   Nevertheless hear thou now this word that I speak in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people;

   הַנְּבִיאִיםhan/ne/vi/IMthe prophetsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoהָיוּha/YUwereלְפָנַיle/fa/NAYbefore meוּלְפָנֶיךָu/le/fa/NE/khaand before youמִן־הָעוֹלָםmin-ha/o/LAMfrom of oldוַיִּנָּבְאוּvay/yin/na/ve/Uprophesiedאֶל־אֲרָצוֹתel-a/ra/TSOTagainst countriesרַבּוֹתrab/BOTmanyוְעַל־מַמְלָכוֹתve/AL-mam/la/KHOTand against kingdomsגְּדֹלוֹתge/do/LOTgreatלְמִלְחָמָהle/mil/cha/MAof warוּלְרָעָהu/le/ra/Aand of evilוּלְדָבֶר׃u/le/DA/verand of pestilence

   The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old prophesied both against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.

   הַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיִנָּבֵאyin/na/VEprophesiesלְשָׁלוֹםle/sha/LOMfor peaceבְּבֹאbe/VOwhen comes to passדְּבַרde/VARthe word ofהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetיִוָּדַעyiv/va/DAwill be knownהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIas the prophetאֲשֶׁר־שְׁלָחוֹa/SHER-she/la/CHOwhom has sentיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבֶּאֱמֶת׃be/e/METtruly

   The prophet which prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the LORD hath truly sent him.

10. 10

    וַיִּקַּחvay/yik/KACHthen tookחֲנַנְיָהCha/nan/YAHananiahהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetאֶת־הַמּוֹטָהet-ham/mo/TAthe yoke barמֵעַלme/ALfromצַוַּארtsav/VARthe neck ofיִרְמְיָהYir/me/YAJeremiahהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetוַיִּשְׁבְּרֵהוּ׃vay/yish/be/RE/huand broke it

    Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah's neck, and brake it.

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidחֲנַנְיָהCha/nan/YAHananiahלְעֵינֵיle/e/NEin the presence ofכׇל־הָעָםkhol-ha/AMall the peopleלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingכֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDכָּכָהKA/khathusאֶשְׁבֹּרesh/BORI will breakאֶת־עֹלet-olthe yoke ofנְבֻכַדְנֶאצַּרNe/vu/khad/ne/TSARNebuchadnezzarמֶלֶךְ־בָּבֶלME/lekh-Ba/VELking of Babylonבְּעוֹדbe/ODwithinשְׁנָתַיִםshe/na/TA/yimtwo years ofיָמִיםya/MIMdaysמֵעַלme/ALfromצַוַּארtsav/VARthe neck ofכׇּל־הַגּוֹיִםkol-hag/go/YIMall the nationsוַיֵּלֶךְvay/YE/lekhand wentיִרְמְיָהYir/me/YAJeremiahהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetלְדַרְכּוֹ׃le/dar/KOhis way

    And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.

12. 12

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passדְבַר־יְהֹוָהde/VAR-Adonaithe word of the LORDאֶל־יִרְמְיָהel-Yir/me/YAto Jeremiahאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterשְׁבוֹרshe/VORhad brokenחֲנַנְיָהCha/nan/YAHananiahהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetאֶת־הַמּוֹטָהet-ham/mo/TAthe yoke barמֵעַלme/ALfromצַוַּארtsav/VARthe neck ofיִרְמְיָהYir/me/YAJeremiahהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    Then the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the prophet, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,

    הָלוֹךְha/LOKHgoוְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand sayאֶל־חֲנַנְיָהel-Cha/nan/YAto Hananiahלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingכֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמוֹטֹתmo/TOTyoke bars ofעֵץetswoodשָׁבָרְתָּsha/VAR/tayou have brokenוְעָשִׂיתָve/a/SI/tabut you have madeתַחְתֵּיהֶןtach/te/HENinstead of themמֹטוֹתmo/TOTyoke bars ofבַּרְזֶל׃bar/ZELiron

    Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of iron.

14. 14

    כִּיkiforכֹה־אָמַרkho-a/MARthus saysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDצְבָאוֹתtse/va/OTof hostsאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelעֹלola yoke ofבַּרְזֶלbar/ZELironנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tiI have putעַל־צַוַּארal-tsav/VARupon the neck ofכׇּל־הַגּוֹיִםkol-hag/go/YIMall the nationsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseלַעֲבֹדla/a/VODto serveאֶת־נְבֻכַדְנֶאצַּרet-Ne/vu/khad/ne/TSARNebuchadnezzarמֶלֶךְ־בָּבֶלME/lekh-Ba/VELking of Babylonוַעֲבָדֻהוּva/a/va/DU/huand they will serve himוְגַםve/GAMand alsoאֶת־חַיַּתet-chay/YATthe beasts ofהַשָּׂדֶהhas/sa/DEthe fieldנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tiI have givenלוֹ׃loto him

    For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.

15. 15

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיִרְמְיָהYir/me/YAJeremiahהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetאֶל־חֲנַנְיָהel-Cha/nan/YAto Hananiahהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetשְׁמַע־נָאshe/MA-nahear nowחֲנַנְיָהCha/nan/YAHananiahלֹא־שְׁלָחֲךָlo-she/la/cha/KHAhas not sent youיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוְאַתָּהve/at/TAbut youהִבְטַחְתָּhiv/TACH/tahave made trustאֶת־הָעָםet-ha/AMthe peopleהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisעַל־שָׁקֶר׃al-SHA/kerin a lie

    Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.

16. 16

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDהִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iמְשַׁלֵּחֲךָme/shal/le/cha/KHAwill send you awayמֵעַלme/ALfromפְּנֵיpe/NEthe face ofהָאֲדָמָהha/a/da/MAthe earthהַשָּׁנָהhash/sha/NAthis yearאַתָּהat/TAyouמֵתmetwill dieכִּי־סָרָהki-sa/RAfor rebellionדִבַּרְתָּdib/BAR/tayou have spokenאֶל־יְהֹוָה׃el-Adonaiagainst the LORD

    Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast taught rebellion against the LORD.

17. 17

    וַיָּמׇתvay/YA/motand he diedחֲנַנְיָהCha/nan/YAHananiahהַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetבַּשָּׁנָהbash/sha/NAin the yearהַהִיאha/HIthatבַּחֹדֶשׁba/CHO/deshin the monthהַשְּׁבִיעִי׃hash/she/vi/Ithe seventh

    So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.
