   Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.

   לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelעַל־הָרֹעִיםal-ha/ro/IMconcerning the shepherdsהָרֹעִיםha/ro/IMwho shepherdאֶת־עַמִּיet-am/MImy peopleאַתֶּםat/TEMyouהֲפִצֹתֶםha/fi/tso/TEMhave scatteredאֶת־צֹאנִיet-tso/NImy flockוַתַּדִּחוּםvat/tad/di/CHUMand driven them awayוְלֹאve/LOand notפְקַדְתֶּםfe/kad/TEMattended toאֹתָםo/TAMthemהִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iפֹקֵדfo/KEDwill attend toעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMyouאֶת־רֹעַet-RO/athe evil ofמַעַלְלֵיכֶםma/al/le/KHEMyour deedsנְאֻם־יְהֹוָה׃ne/UM-Adonaisays the LORD

   Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the LORD.

   וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iאֲקַבֵּץa/kab/BETSwill gatherאֶת־שְׁאֵרִיתet-she/e/RITthe remnant ofצֹאנִיtso/NImy flockמִכֹּלmik/KOLout of allהָאֲרָצוֹתha/a/ra/TSOTthe landsאֲשֶׁר־הִדַּחְתִּיa/SHER-hid/DACH/tiwhere I have drivenאֹתָםo/TAMthemשָׁםshamthereוַהֲשִׁבֹתִיva/ha/shi/vo/TIand will bring backאֶתְהֶןet/HENthemעַל־נְוֵהֶןal-ne/ve/HENto their foldוּפָרוּu/fa/RUand they will be fruitfulוְרָבוּ׃ve/ra/VUand multiply

   And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.

   וַהֲקִמֹתִיva/ha/ki/mo/TIand I will establishעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMover themרֹעִיםro/IMshepherdsוְרָעוּםve/ra/UMwho will shepherd themוְלֹא־יִירְאוּve/LO-yi/re/Uand they will not fearעוֹדodagainוְלֹא־יֵחַתּוּve/LO-ye/CHAT/tunor be dismayedוְלֹאve/LOnorיִפָּקֵדוּyip/pa/KE/duwill any be missingנְאֻם־יְהֹוָה׃ne/UM-Adonaisays the LORD

   And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD.

   הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdיָמִיםya/MIMthe daysבָּאִיםba/IMare comingנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDוַהֲקִמֹתִיva/ha/ki/mo/TIwhen I will raise upלְדָוִדle/Da/VIDfor DavidצֶמַחTSE/macha Branchצַדִּיקtsad/DIKrighteousוּמָלַךְu/MA/lakhand will reignמֶלֶךְME/lekha Kingוְהִשְׂכִּילve/his/KILand deal wiselyוְעָשָׂהve/a/SAand executeמִשְׁפָּטmish/PATjusticeוּצְדָקָהu/tse/da/KAand righteousnessבָּאָרֶץ׃ba/A/retsin the earth

   Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

   בְּיָמָיוbe/ya/MAYVin his daysתִּוָּשַׁעtiv/va/SHAwill be savedיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahוְיִשְׂרָאֵלve/Yis/ra/ELand Israelיִשְׁכֹּןyish/KONwill dwellלָבֶטַחla/VE/tachin safetyוְזֶה־שְּׁמוֹve/ZE-she/MOand this is His nameאֲשֶׁר־יִקְרְאוֹa/SHER-yik/re/Oby which He will be calledיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDצִדְקֵנוּ׃tsid/KE/nuour righteousness

   In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.

   לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeהִנֵּה־יָמִיםhin/NE-ya/MIMbehold the daysבָּאִיםba/IMare comingנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDוְלֹא־יֹאמְרוּve/LO-yo/me/RUand they will not sayעוֹדodagainחַי־יְהֹוָהchay-Adonaias the LORD livesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoהֶעֱלָהhe/e/LAbrought upאֶת־בְּנֵיet-be/NEthe sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsfrom the land ofמִצְרָיִם׃Mits/RA/yimEgypt

   Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;

   כִּיkibutאִם־חַי־יְהֹוָהim-chay-Adonaias the LORD livesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoהֶעֱלָהhe/e/LAbrought upוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand whoהֵבִיאhe/VIledאֶת־זֶרַעet-ZE/rathe seed ofבֵּיתbetthe house ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsfrom the land ofצָפוֹנָהtsa/FO/nathe northוּמִכֹּלu/mik/KOLand from allהָאֲרָצוֹתha/a/ra/TSOTthe landsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereהִדַּחְתִּיםhid/dach/TIMI had driven themשָׁםshamthereוְיָשְׁבוּve/ya/she/VUand they will dwellעַל־אַדְמָתָם׃al-ad/ma/TAMin their own land

   But, The LORD liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.

   לַנְּבִאִיםlan/ne/vi/IMconcerning the prophetsנִשְׁבַּרnish/BARis brokenלִבִּיlib/BImy heartבְקִרְבִּיve/kir/BIwithin meרָחֲפוּra/cha/FUtrembleכׇּל־עַצְמוֹתַיkol-ats/mo/TAYall my bonesהָיִיתִיha/YI/tiI amכְּאִישׁke/ISHas a manשִׁכּוֹרshik/KORdrunkenוּכְגֶבֶרu/khe/GE/verand like a manעֲבָרוֹa/VA/rowhom has overcomeיָיִןYA/yinwineמִפְּנֵיmip/pe/NEbecause ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוּמִפְּנֵיu/mip/pe/NEand because ofדִּבְרֵיdiv/REthe words ofקׇדְשׁוֹ׃kod/SHOHis holiness

   Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine hath overcome, because of the LORD, and because of the words of his holiness.

    כִּיkiforמְנָאֲפִיםme/na/a/FIMadulterersמָלְאָהma/le/Ais fullהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe landכִּי־מִפְּנֵיki-mip/pe/NEfor because ofאָלָהa/LAa curseאָבְלָהa/ve/LAmournsהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe landיָבְשׁוּya/ve/SHUare dried upנְאוֹתne/OTthe pastures ofמִדְבָּרmid/BARthe wildernessוַתְּהִיvat/te/HIand isמְרוּצָתָםme/ru/tsa/TAMtheir courseרָעָהra/Aevilוּגְבוּרָתָםu/ge/vu/ra/TAMand their mightלֹא־כֵן׃lo-khenis not right

    For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force is not right.

    כִּי־גַם־נָבִיאki-gam-na/VIfor both prophetגַם־כֹּהֵןgam-ko/HENand priestחָנֵפוּcha/NE/fuare godlessגַּם־בְּבֵיתִיgam-be/ve/TIeven in my houseמָצָאתִיma/TSA/tiI have foundרָעָתָםra/a/TAMtheir wickednessנְאֻם־יְהֹוָה׃ne/UM-Adonaisays the LORD

    For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD.

12. 12

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeיִהְיֶהyih/YEwill beדַרְכָּםdar/KAMtheir wayלָהֶםla/HEMto themכַּחֲלַקְלַקּוֹתka/cha/lak/lak/KOTlike slippery pathsבָּאֲפֵלָהba/a/fe/LAin the darknessיִדַּחוּyid/DA/chuthey will be driven onוְנָפְלוּve/na/fe/LUand fallבָהּvain itכִּי־אָבִיאki-a/VIfor I will bringעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMon themרָעָהra/Aevilשְׁנַתshe/NATthe year ofפְּקֻדָּתָםpe/kud/da/TAMtheir punishmentנְאֻם־יְהֹוָה׃ne/UM-Adonaisays the LORD

    Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery ways in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, saith the LORD.

    וּבִנְבִיאֵיu/vin/vi/Eand among the prophets ofשֹׁמְרוֹןShom/RONSamariaרָאִיתִיra/I/tiI have seenתִפְלָהtif/LAan unsavory thingהִנַּבְּאוּhin/nab/be/Uthey prophesiedבַבַּעַלVab/BA/alby Baalוַיַּתְעוּvay/yat/Uand led astrayאֶת־עַמִּיet-am/MImy peopleאֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵל׃et-Yis/ra/ELIsrael

    And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.

14. 14

    וּבִנְבִאֵיu/vin/vi/Eand among the prophets ofיְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalemרָאִיתִיra/I/tiI have seenשַׁעֲרוּרָהsha/a/ru/RAa horrible thingנָאוֹףna/OFcommitting adulteryוְהָלֹךְve/ha/LOKHand walkingבַּשֶּׁקֶרbash/SHE/kerin falsehoodוְחִזְּקוּve/chiz/ze/KUand they strengthenיְדֵיye/DEthe hands ofמְרֵעִיםme/re/IMevildoersלְבִלְתִּי־שָׁבוּle/vil/TI-SHA/vuso that none turns backאִישׁisheachמֵרָעָתוֹme/ra/a/TOfrom his wickednessהָיוּ־לִיha/YU-lithey have become to meכֻלָּםkhul/LAMall of themכִּסְדֹםKis/DOMas Sodomוְיֹשְׁבֶיהָve/yosh/VE/haand its inhabitantsכַּעֲמֹרָה׃ka/A/mo/RAlike Gomorrah

    I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDצְבָאוֹתtse/va/OTof hostsעַל־הַנְּבִאִיםal-han/ne/vi/IMconcerning the prophetsהִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iמַאֲכִילma/a/KHILwill feedאוֹתָםo/TAMthemלַעֲנָהla/a/NAwith wormwoodוְהִשְׁקִתִיםve/hish/ki/TIMand give them to drinkמֵי־רֹאשׁme-roshwater of gallכִּיkiforמֵאֵתme/ETfromנְבִיאֵיne/vi/Ethe prophets ofיְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalemיָצְאָהya/tse/Ahas gone outחֲנֻפָּהcha/nup/PAgodlessnessלְכׇל־הָאָרֶץ׃le/KHOL-ha/A/retsinto all the land

    Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.

    כֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDצְבָאוֹתtse/va/OTof hostsאַל־תִּשְׁמְעוּal-tish/me/Udo not listenעַל־דִּבְרֵיal-div/REto the words ofהַנְּבִאִיםhan/ne/vi/IMthe prophetsהַנִּבְּאִיםhan/nib/be/IMwho prophesyלָכֶםla/KHEMto youמַהְבִּלִיםmah/bi/LIMfill with vain hopesהֵמָּהHEM/matheyאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouחֲזוֹןcha/ZONa vision ofלִבָּםlib/BAMtheir heartsיְדַבֵּרוּye/dab/BE/ruthey speakלֹאlonotמִפִּיmip/PIfrom the mouth ofיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD.

    אֹמְרִיםom/RIMthey sayאָמוֹרa/MORsayלִמְנַאֲצַיlim/na/a/TSAYto those who despise meדִּבֶּרdib/BERhas saidיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDשָׁלוֹםsha/LOMpeaceיִהְיֶהyih/YEwill beלָכֶםla/KHEMto youוְכֹלve/KHOLand allהֹלֵךְho/LEKHwho walksבִּשְׁרִרוּתbish/ri/RUTin the stubbornness ofלִבּוֹlib/BOhis heartאָמְרוּa/me/RUthey sayלֹא־תָבוֹאlo-ta/VOwill not comeעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMon youרָעָה׃ra/Aevil

    They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.

18. 18

    כִּיkiforמִיmiwhoעָמַדa/MADhas stoodבְּסוֹדbe/SODin the counsel ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוְיֵרֶאve/YE/rethat he should seeוְיִשְׁמַעve/yish/MAand hearאֶת־דְּבָרוֹet-de/va/ROHis wordמִי־הִקְשִׁיבmi-hik/SHIVwho has listened to(דברי)davaray[דְּבָרוֹ]de/va/ROHis wordוַיִּשְׁמָע׃vay/yish/MAand heard

    For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word? who hath marked his word, and heard it?

19. 19

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdסַעֲרַתsa/a/RATthe storm ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDחֵמָהche/MAfuryיָצְאָהya/tse/Ahas gone outוְסַעַרve/SA/arand a whirlwindמִתְחוֹלֵלmit/cho/LELwhirlingעַלalonרֹאשׁroshthe head ofרְשָׁעִיםre/sha/IMthe wickedיָחוּל׃ya/CHULit will whirl

    Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.

20. 20

    לֹאlonotיָשׁוּבya/SHUVwill turn backאַף־יְהֹוָהaf-Adonaithe anger of the LORDעַד־עֲשֹׂתוֹad-a/so/TOuntil He has executedוְעַד־הֲקִימוֹve/AD-ha/ki/MOand until He has performedמְזִמּוֹתme/zim/MOTthe purposes ofלִבּוֹlib/BOHis heartבְּאַחֲרִיתbe/a/cha/RITin the latter part ofהַיָּמִיםhay/ya/MIMthe daysתִּתְבּוֹנְנוּtit/BON/nuyou will understandבָהּvaitבִּינָה׃bi/NAwith understanding

    The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.

21. 21

    לֹא־שָׁלַחְתִּיlo-sha/LACH/tiI did not sendאֶת־הַנְּבִאִיםet-han/ne/vi/IMthe prophetsוְהֵםve/HEMyet theyרָצוּRA/tsuranלֹא־דִבַּרְתִּיlo-dib/BAR/tiI did not speakאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themוְהֵםve/HEMyet theyנִבָּאוּ׃nib/BA/uprophesied

    I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.

22. 22

    וְאִם־עָמְדוּve/IM-a/me/DUbut if they had stoodבְּסוֹדִיbe/so/DIin my councilוְיַשְׁמִעוּve/yash/MI/uthen they would have made hearדְבָרַיde/va/RAYmy wordsאֶת־עַמִּיet-am/MImy peopleוִישִׁבוּםvi/shi/VUMand would have turned themמִדַּרְכָּםmid/dar/KAMfrom their wayהָרָעha/RAevilוּמֵרֹעַu/me/RO/aand from the evil ofמַעַלְלֵיהֶם׃ma/al/le/HEMtheir deeds

    But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

23. 23

    הַאֱלֹהֵיha/e/lo/HEam I a Godמִקָּרֹבmik/ka/ROVat handאָנִיA/niIנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDוְלֹאve/LOand notאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEa Godמֵרָחֹק׃me/ra/CHOKafar off

    Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?

24. 24

    אִם־יִסָּתֵרim-yis/sa/TERcan hideאִישׁishanyoneבַּמִּסְתָּרִיםbam/mis/ta/RIMin secret placesוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iלֹא־אֶרְאֶנּוּlo-er/EN/nuwill not see himנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDהֲלוֹאha/LOdo notאֶת־הַשָּׁמַיִםet-hash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensוְאֶת־הָאָרֶץve/ET-ha/A/retsand earthאֲנִיa/NIIמָלֵאma/LEfillנְאֻם־יְהֹוָה׃ne/UM-Adonaisays the LORD

    Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.

    שָׁמַעְתִּיsha/MA/tiI have heardאֵת־אֲשֶׁר־אָמְרוּet-a/SHER-a/me/RUwhat have saidהַנְּבִאִיםhan/ne/vi/IMthe prophetsהַנִּבְּאִיםhan/nib/be/IMwho prophesyבִּשְׁמִיbish/MIin my nameשֶׁקֶרSHE/kerliesלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingחָלַמְתִּיcha/LAM/tiI have dreamedחָלָמְתִּי׃cha/LAM/tiI have dreamed

    I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

26. 26

    עַד־מָתַיad-ma/TAYhow longהֲיֵשׁha/YESHwill this beבְּלֵבbe/LEVin the heart ofהַנְּבִאִיםhan/ne/vi/IMthe prophetsנִבְּאֵיnib/be/Ewho prophesyהַשָּׁקֶרhash/SHA/kerliesוּנְבִיאֵיu/ne/vi/Eand prophets ofתַּרְמִתtar/MITthe deceit ofלִבָּם׃lib/BAMtheir hearts

    How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;

    הַחֹשְׁבִיםha/chosh/VIMwho planלְהַשְׁכִּיחַle/hash/KI/achto make forgetאֶת־עַמִּיet-am/MImy peopleשְׁמִיshe/MImy nameבַּחֲלוֹמֹתָםba/cha/lo/mo/TAMby their dreamsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיְסַפְּרוּye/sap/pe/RUthey tellאִישׁisheachלְרֵעֵהוּle/re/E/huto his neighborכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasשָׁכְחוּsha/khe/CHUforgotאֲבוֹתָםa/vo/TAMtheir fathersאֶת־שְׁמִיet-she/MImy nameבַּבָּעַל׃bab/BA/alfor Baal

    Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.

    הַנָּבִיאhan/na/VIthe prophetאֲשֶׁר־אִתּוֹa/SHER-it/TOwho hasחֲלוֹםcha/LOMa dreamיְסַפֵּרye/sap/PERlet him tellחֲלוֹםcha/LOMa dreamוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand he who hasדְּבָרִיde/va/RImy wordאִתּוֹit/TOwith himיְדַבֵּרye/dab/BERlet him speakדְּבָרִיde/va/RImy wordאֱמֶתe/METfaithfullyמַה־לַתֶּבֶןma-lat/TE/venwhat has the strawאֶת־הַבָּרet-hab/BARto the wheatנְאֻם־יְהֹוָה׃ne/UM-Adonaisays the LORD

    The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the LORD.

    הֲלוֹאha/LOis notכֹהkhothusדְבָרִיde/va/RImy wordכָּאֵשׁka/ESHlike fireנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDוּכְפַטִּישׁu/khe/fat/TISHand like a hammerיְפֹצֵץye/FO/tsetsthat shattersסָלַע׃SA/lathe rock

    Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

30. 30

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeהִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iעַל־הַנְּבִאִיםal-han/ne/vi/IMagainst the prophetsנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDמְגַנְּבֵיme/gan/ne/VEwho stealדְבָרַיde/va/RAYmy wordsאִישׁisheachמֵאֵתme/ETfromרֵעֵהוּ׃re/E/huhis neighbor

    Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.

    הִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iעַל־הַנְּבִיאִםal-han/ne/vi/IMagainst the prophetsנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDהַלֹּקְחִיםhal/lok/CHIMwho takeלְשׁוֹנָםle/sho/NAMtheir tonguesוַיִּנְאֲמוּvay/yin/a/MUand declareנְאֻם׃ne/UMHe says

    Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He saith.

32. 32

    הִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iעַל־נִבְּאֵיal-nib/be/Eagainst those who prophesyחֲלֹמוֹתcha/lo/MOTdreamsשֶׁקֶרSHE/kerfalseנְאֻם־יְהֹוָהne/UM-Adonaisays the LORDוַיְסַפְּרוּםvay/sap/pe/RUMand tell themוַיַּתְעוּvay/yat/Uand lead astrayאֶת־עַמִּיet-am/MImy peopleבְּשִׁקְרֵיהֶםbe/shik/re/HEMby their liesוּבְפַחֲזוּתָםu/ve/fa/cha/zu/TAMand by their recklessnessוְאָנֹכִיve/a/no/KHIyet Iלֹא־שְׁלַחְתִּיםlo-she/lach/TIMdid not send themוְלֹאve/LOnorצִוִּיתִיםtsiv/vi/TIMcommand themוְהוֹעֵילve/ho/ELprofitלֹא־יוֹעִילוּlo-yo/I/luthey do not profitלָעָם־הַזֶּהla/AM-haz/ZEthis peopleנְאֻם־יְהֹוָה׃ne/UM-Adonaisays the LORD

    Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the LORD.

33. 33

    וְכִי־יִשְׁאָלְךָve/KHI-yish/a/le/KHAand when asks youהָעָםha/AMthe peopleהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאוֹ־הַנָּבִיאo-han/na/VIor the prophetאוֹ־כֹהֵןo-kho/HENor a priestלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingמַה־מַּשָּׂאma-mas/SAwhat is the burden ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand sayאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themאֶת־מַה־מַּשָּׂאet-ma-mas/SAwhat burdenוְנָטַשְׁתִּיve/na/tash/TII will cast offאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouנְאֻם־יְהֹוָה׃ne/UM-Adonaisays the LORD

    And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What is the burden of the LORD? thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the LORD.

34. 34

    וְהַנָּבִיאve/han/na/VIand the prophetוְהַכֹּהֵןve/hak/ko/HENand the priestוְהָעָםve/ha/AMand the peopleאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיֹאמַרyo/MARsaysמַשָּׂאmas/SAthe burden ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוּפָקַדְתִּיu/fa/kad/TII will punishעַל־הָאִישׁal-ha/ISHthat manהַהוּאha/HUthatוְעַל־בֵּיתוֹ׃ve/AL-be/TOand upon his house

    And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say, The burden of the LORD, I will even punish that man and his house.

35. 35

    כֹּהkothusתֹאמְרוּto/me/RUyou shall sayאִישׁisheachעַל־רֵעֵהוּal-re/E/huto his neighborוְאִישׁve/ISHand eachאֶל־אָחִיוel-a/CHIVto his brotherמֶה־עָנָהme-a/NAwhat has answeredיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוּמַה־דִּבֶּרu/MA-dib/BERand what has spokenיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    Thus shall ye say every one to his neighbour, and every one to his brother, What hath the LORD answered? and, What hath the LORD spoken?

36. 36

    וּמַשָּׂאu/mas/SAand the burden ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלֹאlonotתִזְכְּרוּ־עוֹדtiz/ke/RU-odyou shall mention againכִּיkiforהַמַּשָּׂאham/mas/SAthe burdenיִהְיֶהyih/YEwill beלְאִישׁle/ISHto each manדְּבָרוֹde/va/ROhis wordוַהֲפַכְתֶּםva/ha/fakh/TEMbut you have pervertedאֶת־דִּבְרֵיet-div/REthe words ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodחַיִּיםchay/YIMthe livingיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDצְבָאוֹתtse/va/OTof hostsאֱלֹהֵינוּ׃e/lo/HE/nuour God

    And the burden of the LORD shall ye mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for ye have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.

37. 37

    כֹּהkothusתֹאמַרto/MARyou shall sayאֶל־הַנָּבִיאel-han/na/VIto the prophetמֶה־עָנָךְme-a/NAKHwhat has answered youיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוּמַה־דִּבֶּרu/MA-dib/BERand what has spokenיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    Thus shalt thou say to the prophet, What hath the LORD answered thee? and, What hath the LORD spoken?

38. 38

    וְאִם־מַשָּׂאve/IM-mas/SAand if the burden ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDתֹּאמֵרוּto/me/RUyou sayלָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDיַעַןYA/anbecauseאֲמׇרְכֶםa/mor/KHEMyou sayאֶת־הַדָּבָרet-had/da/VARthe wordהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisמַשָּׂאmas/SAthe burden ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוָאֶשְׁלַחva/esh/LACHand I have sentאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingלֹאlonotתֹאמְרוּto/me/RUsayמַשָּׂאmas/SAthe burden ofיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    But since ye say, The burden of the LORD; therefore thus saith the LORD; Because ye say this word, The burden of the LORD, and I have sent unto you, saying, Ye shall not say, The burden of the LORD;

39. 39

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeהִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iוְנָשִׁיתִיve/na/SHI/tiwill surely forgetאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouנָשֹׁאna/SHOforgetוְנָטַשְׁתִּיve/na/tash/TIand cast offאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouוְאֶת־הָעִירve/ET-ha/IRand the cityאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tiI gaveלָכֶםla/KHEMto youוְלַאֲבוֹתֵיכֶםve/la/a/vo/te/KHEMand to your fathersמֵעַלme/ALfromפָּנָי׃pa/NAYmy presence

    Therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and cast you out of my presence:

40. 40

    וְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand I will bringעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMon youחֶרְפַּתcher/PATa reproachעוֹלָםo/LAMeverlastingוּכְלִמּוּתu/khe/lim/MUTand a shameעוֹלָםo/LAMeverlastingאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichלֹאlonotתִשָּׁכֵחַ׃tish/sha/KHE/achbe forgotten

    And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.
