   O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.

   God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and the earth was full of his praise.

   And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power.

   Before him went the pestilence, and burning coals went forth at his feet.

   עָמַדa/MADHe stoodוַיְמֹדֶדvay/MO/dedand measuredאֶרֶץE/retsthe earthרָאָהra/AHe beheldוַיַּתֵּרvay/yat/TERand drove asunderגּוֹיִםgo/YIMnationsוַיִּתְפֹּצְצוּvay/yit/pots/TSUand were scatteredהַרְרֵי־עַדhar/RE-adthe everlasting mountainsשַׁחוּsha/CHUbowedגִּבְעוֹתgiv/OTthe hills ofעוֹלָםo/LAMeverlastingהֲלִיכוֹתha/li/KHOTthe ways ofעוֹלָםo/LAMeverlastingלוֹ׃loare His

   He stood, and measured the earth: he beheld, and drove asunder the nations; and the everlasting mountains were scattered, the perpetual hills did bow: his ways are everlasting.

   I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction: and the curtains of the land of Midian did tremble.

   הֲבִנְהָרִיםha/vin/ha/RIMwas against the riversחָרָהcha/RAwas displeasedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאִםimorבַּנְּהָרִיםban/ne/ha/RIMagainst the riversאַפֶּךָap/PE/khayour angerאִם־בַּיָּםim-bay/YAMor against the seaעֶבְרָתֶךָev/ra/TE/khayour furyכִּיkithatתִרְכַּבtir/KAVYou rodeעַל־סוּסֶיךָal-su/SE/khaupon your horsesמַרְכְּבֹתֶיךָmar/ke/vo/TE/khayour chariotsיְשׁוּעָה׃ye/shu/Aof salvation

   Was the LORD displeased against the rivers? was thine anger against the rivers? was thy wrath against the sea, that thou didst ride upon thine horses and thy chariots of salvation?

   עֶרְיָהer/YAbareתֵעוֹרte/ORwas made bareקַשְׁתֶּךָkash/TE/khayour bowשְׁבֻעוֹתshe/vu/OTthe oaths ofמַטּוֹתmat/TOTthe tribes ofאֹמֶרO/mera wordסֶלָהSE/laSelahנְהָרוֹתne/ha/ROTwith riversתְּבַקַּע־אָרֶץ׃te/vak/KA-A/retsYou cleave the earth

   Thy bow was made quite naked, according to the oaths of the tribes, even thy word. Selah. Thou didst cleave the earth with rivers.

    רָאוּךָra/U/khasaw Youיָחִילוּya/CHI/lutrembledהָרִיםha/RIMthe mountainsזֶרֶםZE/remthe overflowing ofמַיִםMA/yimwaterעָבָרa/VARpassed byנָתַןna/TANutteredתְּהוֹםte/HOMthe deepקוֹלוֹko/LOhis voiceרוֹםromon highיָדֵיהוּya/DE/huhis handsנָשָׂא׃na/SAlifted up

    The mountains saw thee, and they trembled: the overflowing of the water passed by: the deep uttered his voice, and lifted up his hands on high.

    שֶׁמֶשׁSHE/meshthe sunיָרֵחַya/RE/achmoonעָמַדa/MADstoodזְבֻלָהze/VU/lain their habitationלְאוֹרle/ORat the light ofחִצֶּיךָchits/TSE/khaYour arrowsיְהַלֵּכוּye/hal/LE/khuthey wentלְנֹגַהּle/NO/gaat the shining ofבְּרַקbe/RAKthe glittering ofחֲנִיתֶךָ׃cha/ni/TE/khaYour spear

    The sun and moon stood still in their habitation: at the light of thine arrows they went, and at the shining of thy glittering spear.

    בְּזַעַםbe/ZA/amin indignationתִּצְעַד־אָרֶץtits/AD-A/retsYou march through the earthבְּאַףbe/AFin angerתָּדוּשׁta/DUSHYou threshגּוֹיִם׃go/YIMnations

    Thou didst march through the land in indignation, thou didst thresh the heathen in anger.

    יָצָאתָya/TSA/taYou went forthלְיֵשַׁעle/YE/shafor the salvation ofעַמֶּךָam/ME/khaYour peopleלְיֵשַׁעle/YE/shafor the salvation ofאֶת־מְשִׁיחֶךָet-me/shi/CHE/khawith Your anointedמָחַצְתָּma/CHATS/taYou crushedרֹּאשׁroshthe headמִבֵּיתmib/BETfrom the house ofרָשָׁעra/SHAthe wickedעָרוֹתa/ROTlaying bareיְסוֹדye/SODthe foundationעַד־צַוָּארad-tsav/VARto the neckסֶלָה׃SE/laSelah

    Thou wentest forth for the salvation of thy people, even for salvation with thine anointed; thou woundedst the head out of the house of the wicked, by discovering the foundation unto the neck. Selah.

    נָקַבְתָּna/KAV/taYou piercedבְמַטָּיוve/mat/TAYVwith his stavesרֹאשׁroshthe head ofפְּרָזָוpe/ra/ZAVhis villagesיִסְעֲרוּyis/a/RUthey storm inלַהֲפִיצֵנִיla/ha/fi/TSE/nito scatter meעֲלִיצֻתָםa/li/tsu/TAMtheir rejoicingכְּמוֹ־לֶאֱכֹלke/MO-le/e/KHOLas to devourעָנִיa/NIthe poorבַּמִּסְתָּר׃bam/mis/TARsecretly

    Thou didst strike through with his staves the head of his villages: they came out as a whirlwind to scatter me: their rejoicing was as to devour the poor secretly.

    Thou didst walk through the sea with thine horses, through the heap of great waters.

    שָׁמַעְתִּיsha/MA/tiI heardוַתִּרְגַּזvat/tir/GAZand trembledבִּטְנִיbit/NImy bellyלְקוֹלle/KOLat the voiceצָלְלוּtsa/le/LUquiveredשְׂפָתַיse/fa/TAYmy lipsיָבוֹאya/VOentersרָקָבra/KAVrottennessבַּעֲצָמַיba/a/tsa/MAYin my bonesוְתַחְתַּיve/tach/TAYand in my placeאֶרְגָּזer/GAZI trembleאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאָנוּחַa/NU/achI shall restלְיוֹםle/YOMfor the day ofצָרָהtsa/RAtroubleלַעֲלוֹתla/a/LOTwhen he comes upלְעַםle/AMagainst the peopleיְגוּדֶנּוּ׃ye/gu/DEN/nuhe will invade them

    When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.

    כִּי־תְאֵנָהki-te/e/NAthough the fig treeלֹא־תִפְרָחlo-tif/RACHshall not blossomוְאֵיןve/ENand there is noיְבוּלye/VULfruitבַּגְּפָנִיםbag/ge/fa/NIMin the vinesכִּחֵשׁki/CHESHshall failמַעֲשֵׂה־זַיִתma/a/SE-ZA/yitthe labor of the oliveוּשְׁדֵמוֹתu/she/de/MOTand the fieldsלֹא־עָשָׂהlo-a/SAyield noאֹכֶלO/khelfoodגָּזַרga/ZARshall be cut offמִמִּכְלָהmim/mikh/LAfrom the foldצֹאןtsonthe flockוְאֵיןve/ENand there is noבָּקָרba/KARherdבָּרְפָתִים׃ba/re/fa/TIMin the stalls

    Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:

18. 18

    וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iבַּיהֹוָהba-Adonaiin the LORDאֶעְלוֹזָהe/LO/zaI will rejoiceאָגִילָהa/GI/laI will joyבֵּאלֹהֵיbe/lo/HEin the God ofיִשְׁעִי׃yish/Imy salvation

    Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

    יֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe Lordחֵילִיche/LImy strengthוַיָּשֶׂםvay/YA/semand He makesרַגְלַיrag/LAYmy feetכָּאַיָּלוֹתka/ay/ya/LOTlike hinds'וְעַלve/ALand uponבָּמוֹתַיba/mo/TAYmy high placesיַדְרִכֵנִיyad/ri/KHE/niHe makes me walkלַמְנַצֵּחַlam/nats/TSE/achto the chief singerבִּנְגִינוֹתָי׃bin/gi/no/TAYwith my stringed instruments

    The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
