וַיִּזְכֹּרand rememberedאֱלֹהִיםGodאֶת־נֹחַNoahוְאֵתandכׇּל־הַחַיָּהevery living thingוְאֶת־כׇּל־הַבְּהֵמָהand all the animalsאֲשֶׁרthat wereאִתּוֹwith himבַּתֵּבָהin the arkוַיַּעֲבֵרand made to passאֱלֹהִיםGodרוּחַa windעַל־הָאָרֶץover the earthוַיָּשֹׁכּוּand subsidedהַמָּיִם׃the waters
And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;

וַיִּסָּכְרוּand were stoppedמַעְיְנֹתthe fountains ofתְּהוֹםthe deepוַאֲרֻבֹּתand the windows ofהַשָּׁמָיִםheavenוַיִּכָּלֵאand was restrainedהַגֶּשֶׁםthe rainמִן־הַשָּׁמָיִם׃from heaven
The fountains also of the deep and the windows of heaven were stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained;

וַיָּשֻׁבוּand recededהַמַּיִםthe watersמֵעַלfromהָאָרֶץthe earthהָלוֹךְgoing backוָשׁוֹבsteadilyוַיַּחְסְרוּand decreasedהַמַּיִםthe watersמִקְצֵהat the end ofחֲמִשִּׁיםfiftyוּמְאַתand a hundredיוֹם׃days
And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.

וַתָּנַחand restedהַתֵּבָהthe arkבַּחֹדֶשׁin the monthהַשְּׁבִיעִיthe seventhבְּשִׁבְעָה־עָשָׂרon the seventeenthיוֹםdayלַחֹדֶשׁof the monthעַלonהָרֵיthe mountains ofאֲרָרָט׃Ararat
And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, upon the mountains of Ararat.

וְהַמַּיִםand the watersהָיוּbecameהָלוֹךְsteadilyוְחָסוֹרdecreasingעַדuntilהַחֹדֶשׁthe monthהָעֲשִׂירִיthe tenthבָּעֲשִׂירִיin the tenthבְּאֶחָדon the firstלַחֹדֶשׁof the monthנִרְאוּwere seenרָאשֵׁיthe tops ofהֶהָרִים׃the mountains
And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.

וַיְהִיand it came to passמִקֵּץat the end ofאַרְבָּעִיםfortyיוֹםdaysוַיִּפְתַּחthat openedנֹחַNoahאֶת־חַלּוֹןthe window ofהַתֵּבָהthe arkאֲשֶׁרwhichעָשָׂה׃he had made
And it came to pass at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made:

וַיְשַׁלַּחand he sent outאֶת־הָעֹרֵבa ravenוַיֵּצֵאand it went forthיָצוֹאgoing outוָשׁוֹבand returningעַד־יְבֹשֶׁתuntil had dried upהַמַּיִםthe watersמֵעַלfromהָאָרֶץ׃the earth
And he sent forth a raven, which went forth to and fro, until the waters were dried up from off the earth.

וַיְשַׁלַּחand he sent outאֶת־הַיּוֹנָהa doveמֵאִתּוֹfrom himselfלִרְאוֹתto seeהֲקַלּוּif had recededהַמַּיִםthe watersמֵעַלfromפְּנֵיthe face ofהָאֲדָמָה׃the earth
Also he sent forth a dove from him, to see if the waters were abated from off the face of the ground;

וְלֹא־מָצְאָהbut not foundהַיּוֹנָהthe doveמָנוֹחַa resting placeלְכַף־רַגְלָהּfor the sole of her footוַתָּשׇׁבand she returnedאֵלָיוto himאֶל־הַתֵּבָהinto the arkכִּי־מַיִםfor the waters wereעַל־פְּנֵיon the face ofכׇל־הָאָרֶץthe whole earthוַיִּשְׁלַחso he put outיָדוֹhis handוַיִּקָּחֶהָand her tookוַיָּבֵאand drewאֹתָהּherאֵלָיוto himselfאֶל־הַתֵּבָה׃into the ark
But the dove found no rest for the sole of her foot, and she returned unto him into the ark, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth: then he put forth his hand, and took her, and pulled her in unto him into the ark.

וַיָּחֶלand he waitedעוֹדyetשִׁבְעַתsevenיָמִיםdaysאֲחֵרִיםanotherוַיֹּסֶףand againשַׁלַּחhe sent outאֶת־הַיּוֹנָהthe doveמִן־הַתֵּבָה׃from the ark
And he stayed yet other seven days; and again he sent forth the dove out of the ark;

וַתָּבֹאand cameאֵלָיוto himהַיּוֹנָהthe doveלְעֵתinעֶרֶבthe eveningוְהִנֵּהand beholdעֲלֵה־זַיִתan olive leafטָרָףfreshly pluckedבְּפִיהָin her mouthוַיֵּדַעand knewנֹחַNoahכִּי־קַלּוּthat had recededהַמַּיִםthe watersמֵעַלfromהָאָרֶץ׃the earth
And the dove came in to him in the evening; and, lo, in her mouth was an olive leaf pluckt off: so Noah knew that the waters were abated from off the earth.

וַיִּיָּחֶלand he waitedעוֹדyetשִׁבְעַתsevenיָמִיםdaysאֲחֵרִיםanotherוַיְשַׁלַּחand sent outאֶת־הַיּוֹנָהthe doveוְלֹא־יָסְפָהand not againשׁוּב־אֵלָיוdid she return to himעוֹד׃anymore
And he stayed yet other seven days; and sent forth the dove; which returned not again unto him any more.

וַיְהִיand it came to passבְּאַחַתin the firstוְשֵׁשׁ־מֵאוֹתand six hundredthשָׁנָהyearsבָּרִאשׁוֹןin the firstבְּאֶחָדon the firstלַחֹדֶשׁof the monthחׇרְבוּthat were dried upהַמַּיִםthe watersמֵעַלfromהָאָרֶץthe earthוַיָּסַרand removedנֹחַNoahאֶת־מִכְסֵהthe covering ofהַתֵּבָהthe arkוַיַּרְאand he lookedוְהִנֵּהand indeedחׇרְבוּwas dryפְּנֵיthe surface ofהָאֲדָמָה׃the earth
And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry.

וּבַחֹדֶשׁand in the monthהַשֵּׁנִיthe secondבְּשִׁבְעָהon the seventhוְעֶשְׂרִיםand twentiethיוֹםdayלַחֹדֶשׁof the monthיָבְשָׁהwas driedהָאָרֶץ׃the earth
And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried.

וַיְדַבֵּרand spokeאֱלֹהִיםGodאֶל־נֹחַto Noahלֵאמֹר׃saying
And God spake unto Noah, saying,
16
צֵאgo out ofמִן־הַתֵּבָהthe arkאַתָּהyouוְאִשְׁתְּךָand your wifeוּבָנֶיךָand your sonsוּנְשֵׁי־בָנֶיךָand the wives of your sonsאִתָּךְ׃with you
Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons' wives with thee.

כׇּל־הַחַיָּהevery living thingאֲשֶׁר־אִתְּךָthat is with youמִכׇּל־בָּשָׂרof all fleshבָּעוֹףbirdsוּבַבְּהֵמָהand livestockוּבְכׇל־הָרֶמֶשׂand every creeping thingהָרֹמֵשׂthat creepsעַל־הָאָרֶץon the earthהַיְצֵאbring outאִתָּךְwith youוְשָׁרְצוּso that they may aboundבָאָרֶץon the earthוּפָרוּand be fruitfulוְרָבוּand multiplyעַל־הָאָרֶץ׃on the earth
Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.

וַיֵּצֵא־נֹחַand went out Noahוּבָנָיוand his sonsוְאִשְׁתּוֹand his wifeוּנְשֵׁי־בָנָיוand the wives of his sonsאִתּוֹ׃with him
And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him:
19
כׇּל־הַחַיָּהevery animalכׇּל־הָרֶמֶשׂevery creeping thingוְכׇל־הָעוֹףand every birdכֹּלand whateverרוֹמֵשׂcreepsעַל־הָאָרֶץon the earthלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתֵיהֶםaccording to their familiesיָצְאוּwent outמִן־הַתֵּבָה׃of the ark
Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.
20
וַיִּבֶןand builtנֹחַNoahמִזְבֵּחַan altarלַיהֹוָהto the LORDוַיִּקַּחand tookמִכֹּלof everyהַבְּהֵמָהanimalהַטְּהֹרָהcleanוּמִכֹּלand of everyהָעוֹףbirdהַטָּהוֹרcleanוַיַּעַלand he offeredעֹלֹתburnt offeringsבַּמִּזְבֵּחַ׃on the altar
And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

וַיָּרַחand smelledיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶת־רֵיחַthe aromaהַנִּיחֹחַthe soothingוַיֹּאמֶרand saidיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֶל־לִבּוֹin his heartלֹא־אֹסִףnever will Iלְקַלֵּלcurseעוֹדagainאֶת־הָאֲדָמָהthe groundבַּעֲבוּרon account ofהָאָדָםmanכִּיalthoughיֵצֶרthe imagination ofלֵבthe heart ofהָאָדָםmanרַעis evilמִנְּעֻרָיוfrom his youthוְלֹא־אֹסִףnor will I againעוֹדanymoreלְהַכּוֹתdestroyאֶת־כׇּל־חַיevery living thingכַּאֲשֶׁרasעָשִׂיתִי׃I have done
And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake; for the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.
22
עֹדwhileכׇּל־יְמֵיall the days ofהָאָרֶץthe earthזֶרַעseedtimeוְקָצִירand harvestוְקֹרand coldוָחֹםand heatוְקַיִץand summerוָחֹרֶףand winterוְיוֹםand dayוָלַיְלָהand nightלֹאshall notיִשְׁבֹּתוּ׃cease
While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
