   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלְנֹחַle/NO/achto Noahבֹּא־אַתָּהbo-at/TAcome youוְכׇל־בֵּיתְךָve/KHOL-be/te/KHAand all your householdאֶל־הַתֵּבָהel-hat/te/VAinto the arkכִּי־אֹתְךָki-ot/KHAfor youרָאִיתִיra/I/tiI have seenצַדִּיקtsad/DIKrighteousלְפָנַיle/fa/NAYbefore meבַּדּוֹרbad/DORin generationהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

   And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

   Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.

   Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.

   כִּיkiforלְיָמִיםle/ya/MIMin daysעוֹדodyetשִׁבְעָהshiv/Asevenאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIמַמְטִירmam/TIRwill cause it to rainעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retson the earthאַרְבָּעִיםar/ba/IMfortyיוֹםyomdaysוְאַרְבָּעִיםve/ar/ba/IMand fortyלָיְלָהLAY/lanightsוּמָחִיתִיu/ma/CHI/tiand I will blot outאֶת־כׇּל־הַיְקוּםet-kol-hay/KUMevery living substanceאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatעָשִׂיתִיa/SI/tiI have madeמֵעַלme/ALfrom uponפְּנֵיpe/NEthe face ofהָאֲדָמָה׃ha/a/da/MAthe ground

   For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.

   וַיַּעַשׂvay/YA/asand didנֹחַNO/achNoahכְּכֹלke/KHOLaccording to allאֲשֶׁר־צִוָּהוּa/SHER-tsiv/VA/huthat commanded himיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

   And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him.

   וְנֹחַve/NO/achand Noahבֶּן־שֵׁשׁben-shesha son of sixמֵאוֹתme/OThundredשָׁנָהsha/NAyearsוְהַמַּבּוּלve/ham/mab/BULand the floodהָיָהha/YAwasמַיִםMA/yimwatersעַל־הָאָרֶץ׃al-ha/A/retsupon the earth

   And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.

   וַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand enteredנֹחַNO/achNoahוּבָנָיוu/va/NAYVand his sonsוְאִשְׁתּוֹve/ish/TOand his wifeוּנְשֵׁי־בָנָיוu/ne/SHE-va/NAYVand the wives of his sonsאִתּוֹit/TOwith himאֶל־הַתֵּבָהel-hat/te/VAinto the arkמִפְּנֵיmip/pe/NEbecause ofמֵיmethe waters ofהַמַּבּוּל׃ham/mab/BULthe flood

   And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.

   מִן־הַבְּהֵמָהmin-hab/be/he/MAof beastsהַטְּהוֹרָהhat/te/ho/RAcleanוּמִן־הַבְּהֵמָהu/MIN-hab/be/he/MAand of beastsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatאֵינֶנָּהe/NEN/naare notטְהֹרָהte/ho/RAcleanוּמִן־הָעוֹףu/MIN-ha/OFand of birdsוְכֹלve/KHOLand everythingאֲשֶׁר־רֹמֵשׂa/SHER-ro/MESthat creepsעַל־הָאֲדָמָה׃al-ha/a/da/MAon the ground

   Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,

   שְׁנַיִםshe/NA/yimtwoשְׁנַיִםshe/NA/yimtwoבָּאוּBA/uthey went inאֶל־נֹחַel-NO/achto Noahאֶל־הַתֵּבָהel-hat/te/VAinto the arkזָכָרza/KHARmaleוּנְקֵבָהu/ne/ke/VAand femaleכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasצִוָּהtsiv/VAhad commandedאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodאֶת־נֹחַ׃et-NO/achNoah

   There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passלְשִׁבְעַתle/shiv/ATafter sevenהַיָּמִיםhay/ya/MIMdaysוּמֵיu/MEthat the waters ofהַמַּבּוּלham/mab/BULthe floodהָיוּha/YUwereעַל־הָאָרֶץ׃al-ha/A/retsupon the earth

    And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.

    בִּשְׁנַתbish/NATin the year ofשֵׁשׁ־מֵאוֹתshesh-me/OTsix hundredשָׁנָהsha/NAyearsלְחַיֵּי־נֹחַle/Chay/YE-NO/achof the life of Noahבַּחֹדֶשׁba/CHO/deshin the monthהַשֵּׁנִיhash/she/NIsecondבְּשִׁבְעָה־עָשָׂרbe/shiv/A-a/SARon the seventeenthיוֹםyomdayלַחֹדֶשׁla/CHO/deshof the monthבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon dayהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisנִבְקְעוּniv/ke/Uwere broken upכׇּל־מַעְיְנוֹתkol-ma/ye/NOTall the fountains ofתְּהוֹםte/HOMthe deepרַבָּהrab/BAgreatוַאֲרֻבֹּתva/a/rub/BOTand the windows ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensנִפְתָּחוּ׃nif/TA/chuwere opened

    In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand wasהַגֶּשֶׁםhag/GE/shemthe rainעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retsupon the earthאַרְבָּעִיםar/ba/IMfortyיוֹםyomdaysוְאַרְבָּעִיםve/ar/ba/IMand fortyלָיְלָה׃LAY/lanights

    And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.

    בְּעֶצֶםbe/E/tsemin the selfsameהַיּוֹםhay/YOMdayהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisבָּאbaenteredנֹחַNO/achNoahוְשֵׁם־וְחָםve/SHEM-ve/CHAMand Shem and Hamוָיֶפֶתva/YE/fetand Japhethבְּנֵי־נֹחַbe/NE-NO/achthe sons of Noahוְאֵשֶׁתve/E/shetand the wife ofנֹחַNO/achNoahוּשְׁלֹשֶׁתu/she/LO/shetand the threeנְשֵׁי־בָנָיוne/SHE-va/NAYVwives of his sonsאִתָּםit/TAMwith themאֶל־הַתֵּבָה׃el-hat/te/VAinto the ark

    In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;

    הֵמָּהHEM/matheyוְכׇל־הַחַיָּהve/KHOL-ha/chay/YAand every beastלְמִינָהּle/mi/NAafter its kindוְכׇל־הַבְּהֵמָהve/KHOL-hab/be/he/MAand all the livestockלְמִינָהּle/mi/NAafter their kindוְכׇל־הָרֶמֶשׂve/KHOL-ha/RE/mesand every creeping thingהָרֹמֵשׂha/ro/MESthat creepsעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retson the earthלְמִינֵהוּle/mi/NE/huafter its kindוְכׇל־הָעוֹףve/KHOL-ha/OFand every birdלְמִינֵהוּle/mi/NE/huafter its kindכֹּלkoleveryצִפּוֹרtsip/PORbirdכׇּל־כָּנָף׃kol-ka/NAFof every wing

    They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.

15. 15

    וַיָּבֹאוּvay/ya/VO/uand they went inאֶל־נֹחַel-NO/achto Noahאֶל־הַתֵּבָהel-hat/te/VAinto the arkשְׁנַיִםshe/NA/yimtwoשְׁנַיִםshe/NA/yimtwoמִכׇּל־הַבָּשָׂרmik/KOL-hab/ba/SARof all fleshאֲשֶׁר־בּוֹa/SHER-boin which isרוּחַRU/achthe breath ofחַיִּים׃chay/YIMlife

    And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein is the breath of life.

16. 16

    וְהַבָּאִיםve/hab/ba/IMand they that went inזָכָרza/KHARmaleוּנְקֵבָהu/ne/ke/VAand femaleמִכׇּל־בָּשָׂרmik/KOL-ba/SARof all fleshבָּאוּBA/uthey went inכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasצִוָּהtsiv/VAhad commandedאֹתוֹo/TOhimאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodוַיִּסְגֹּרvay/yis/GORand shutיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבַּעֲדוֹ׃ba/a/DOhim in

    And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.

17. 17

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand wasהַמַּבּוּלham/mab/BULthe floodאַרְבָּעִיםar/ba/IMfortyיוֹםyomdaysעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retson the earthוַיִּרְבּוּvay/yir/BUand increasedהַמַּיִםham/MA/yimthe watersוַיִּשְׂאוּvay/yis/Uand bore upאֶת־הַתֵּבָהet-hat/te/VAthe arkוַתָּרׇםvat/TA/romand it was lifted upמֵעַלme/ALaboveהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe earth

    And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.

18. 18

    וַיִּגְבְּרוּvay/yig/be/RUand prevailedהַמַּיִםham/MA/yimthe watersוַיִּרְבּוּvay/yir/BUand increasedמְאֹדme/ODgreatlyעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retsupon the earthוַתֵּלֶךְvat/TE/lekhand wentהַתֵּבָהhat/te/VAthe arkעַל־פְּנֵיal-pe/NEupon the face ofהַמָּיִם׃ham/MA/yimthe waters

    And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.

19. 19

    וְהַמַּיִםve/ham/MA/yimand the watersגָּבְרוּga/ve/RUprevailedמְאֹדme/ODexceedinglyמְאֹדme/ODexceedinglyעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retsupon the earthוַיְכֻסּוּvay/khus/SUand were coveredכׇּל־הֶהָרִיםkol-he/ha/RIMall the mountainsהַגְּבֹהִיםhag/ge/vo/HIMhighאֲשֶׁר־תַּחַתa/SHER-TA/chatthat were underכׇּל־הַשָּׁמָיִם׃kol-hash/sha/MA/yimall the heavens

    And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.

20. 20

    חֲמֵשׁ־עֶשְׂרֵהcha/MESH-es/REfifteenאַמָּהam/MAcubitsמִלְמַעְלָהmil/MA/laupwardגָּבְרוּga/ve/RUprevailedהַמָּיִםham/MA/yimthe watersוַיְכֻסּוּvay/khus/SUand were coveredהֶהָרִים׃he/ha/RIMthe mountains

    Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.

21. 21

    וַיִּגְוַעvay/yig/VAand diedכׇּל־בָּשָׂרkol-ba/SARall fleshהָרֹמֵשׂha/ro/MESthat movedעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retson the earthבָּעוֹףba/OFof birdsוּבַבְּהֵמָהu/vab/be/he/MAand of livestockוּבַחַיָּהu/va/chay/YAand of beastsוּבְכׇל־הַשֶּׁרֶץu/ve/KHOL-hash/SHE/retsand of every swarming thingהַשֹּׁרֵץhash/sho/RETSthat swarmsעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retson the earthוְכֹלve/KHOLand everyהָאָדָם׃ha/a/DAMman

    And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:

22. 22

    כֹּלkolallאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנִשְׁמַת־רוּחַnish/MAT-RU/achthe breath of the spirit ofחַיִּיםchay/YIMlifeבְּאַפָּיוbe/ap/PAYVin his nostrilsמִכֹּלmik/KOLof allאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat wasבֶּחָרָבָהbe/cha/ra/VAin the dry landמֵתוּ׃ME/tudied

    All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.

23. 23

    וַיִּמַחvay/YI/machand He blotted outאֶת־כׇּל־הַיְקוּםet-kol-hay/KUMevery living substanceאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich wereעַל־פְּנֵיal-pe/NEon the face ofהָאֲדָמָהha/a/da/MAthe earthמֵאָדָםme/a/DAMfrom manעַד־בְּהֵמָהad-be/he/MAto livestockעַד־רֶמֶשׂad-RE/mesto creeping thingוְעַד־עוֹףve/AD-ofand to the birds ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe airוַיִּמָּחוּvay/yim/ma/CHUand they were blotted outמִן־הָאָרֶץmin-ha/A/retsfrom the earthוַיִּשָּׁאֶרvay/yish/SHA/erand remainedאַךְ־נֹחַakh-NO/achonly Noahוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand they that wereאִתּוֹit/TOwith himבַּתֵּבָה׃bat/te/VAin the ark

    And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.

24. 24

    וַיִּגְבְּרוּvay/yig/be/RUand prevailedהַמַּיִםham/MA/yimthe watersעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retsupon the earthחֲמִשִּׁיםcha/mish/SHIMfiftyוּמְאַתu/me/ATand a hundredיוֹם׃yomdays

    And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.
