Genesis 10 בְּרֵאשִׁית פרק י׳

   וְאֵלֶּהve/EL/leand theseתּוֹלְדֹתtol/DOTthe generations ofבְּנֵי־נֹחַbe/NE-NO/achthe sons of NoahשֵׁםShemShemחָםChamHamוָיָפֶתva/YA/fetand Japhethוַיִּוָּלְדוּvay/yiv/va/le/DUand were bornלָהֶםla/HEMto themבָּנִיםba/NIMsonsאַחַרa/CHARafterהַמַּבּוּל׃ham/mab/BULthe flood

   Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.

   בְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofיֶפֶתYE/fetJaphethגֹּמֶרGO/merGomerוּמָגוֹגu/Ma/GOGand Magogוּמָדַיu/Ma/DAYand Madaiוְיָוָןve/Ya/VANand Javanוְתֻבָלve/Tu/VALand Tubalוּמֶשֶׁךְu/ME/shekhand Meshechוְתִירָס׃ve/Ti/RASand Tiras

   The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

   וּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the sons ofגֹּמֶרGO/merGomerאַשְׁכְּנַזAsh/ke/NAZAshkenazוְרִיפַתve/Ri/FATand Riphathוְתֹגַרְמָה׃ve/To/gar/MAand Togarmah

   And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

   וּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the sons ofיָוָןYa/VANJavanאֱלִישָׁהE/li/SHAElishahוְתַרְשִׁישׁve/Tar/SHISHand TarshishכִּתִּיםKit/TIMKittimוְדֹדָנִים׃ve/Do/da/NIMand Dodanim

   And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

   מֵאֵלֶּהme/EL/leby theseנִפְרְדוּnif/re/DUwere dividedאִיֵּיiy/YEthe isles ofהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMthe nationsבְּאַרְצֹתָםbe/ar/tso/TAMin their landsאִישׁishevery oneלִלְשֹׁנוֹlil/sho/NOafter his tongueלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםle/mish/pe/cho/TAMafter their familiesבְּגוֹיֵהֶם׃be/go/ye/HEMin their nations

   By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

   וּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the sons ofחָםChamHamכּוּשׁKushCushוּמִצְרַיִםu/Mits/RA/yimand Egyptוּפוּטu/FUTand Putוּכְנָעַן׃u/Khe/NA/anand Canaan

   And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.

   וּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the sons ofכוּשׁKhushCushסְבָאSe/VASebaוַחֲוִילָהva/Cha/vi/LAand Havilahוְסַבְתָּהve/Sav/TAand Sabtahוְרַעְמָהve/Ra/MAand Raamahוְסַבְתְּכָאve/Sav/te/KHAand Sabtechaוּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the sons ofרַעְמָהRa/MARaamahשְׁבָאShe/VAShebaוּדְדָן׃u/De/DANand Dedan

   And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtecha: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.

   וְכוּשׁve/KHUSHand Cushיָלַדya/LADbegatאֶת־נִמְרֹדet-Nim/RODNimrodהוּאhuheהֵחֵלhe/CHELbeganלִהְיוֹתlih/YOTto beגִּבֹּרgib/BORa mighty oneבָּאָרֶץ׃ba/A/retsin the land

   And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.

9. 9

   הוּא־הָיָהhu-ha/YAhe wasגִבֹּר־צַיִדgib/BOR-TSA/yida mighty hunterלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDעַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeיֵאָמַרye/a/MARit is saidכְּנִמְרֹדke/Nim/RODlike Nimrodגִּבּוֹרgib/BORa mightyצַיִדTSA/yidhunterלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

   He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.

    וַתְּהִיvat/te/HIand wasרֵאשִׁיתre/SHITthe beginning ofמַמְלַכְתּוֹmam/lakh/TOhis kingdomבָּבֶלBa/VELBabylonוְאֶרֶךְve/E/rekhand Erechוְאַכַּדve/Ak/KADand Akkadוְכַלְנֵהve/Khal/NEand Calnehבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofשִׁנְעָר׃Shin/ARShinar

    And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

11. 11

    מִן־הָאָרֶץmin-ha/A/retsout of the landהַהִואha/HIVthatיָצָאya/TSAhe went forthאַשּׁוּרAsh/SHURAsshurוַיִּבֶןvay/YI/venand builtאֶת־נִינְוֵהet-Ni/ne/VENinevehוְאֶת־רְחֹבֹתve/ET-re/cho/VOTand Rehobothעִירirthe cityוְאֶת־כָּלַח׃ve/ET-KA/lachand Calah

    Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,

12. 12

    וְאֶת־רֶסֶןve/ET-RE/senand ResenבֵּיןbenbetweenנִינְוֵהNi/ne/VENinevehוּבֵיןu/VENand betweenכָּלַחKA/lachCalahהִואhivthe same isהָעִירha/IRthe cityהַגְּדֹלָה׃hag/ge/do/LAgreat

    And Resen between Nineveh and Calah: the same is a great city.

    וּמִצְרַיִםu/Mits/RA/yimand Egyptיָלַדya/LADbegatאֶת־לוּדִיםet-Lu/DIMLudimוְאֶת־עֲנָמִיםve/ET-a/na/MIMand Anamimוְאֶת־לְהָבִיםve/ET-le/ha/VIMand Lehabimוְאֶת־נַפְתֻּחִים׃ve/ET-naf/tu/CHIMand Naphtuhim

    And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

14. 14

    וְאֶת־פַּתְרֻסִיםve/ET-pat/ru/SIMand Pathrusimוְאֶת־כַּסְלֻחִיםve/ET-kas/lu/CHIMand Casluhimאֲשֶׁרa/SHERout of whomיָצְאוּya/tse/Ucameמִשָּׁםmish/SHAMfrom thereפְּלִשְׁתִּיםPe/lish/TIMthe Philistinesוְאֶת־כַּפְתֹּרִים׃ve/ET-kaf/to/RIMand Caphtorim

    And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (out of whom came Philistim,) and Caphtorim.

15. 15

    וּכְנַעַןu/Khe/NA/anand Canaanיָלַדya/LADbegatאֶת־צִידֹןet-Tsi/DONZidonבְּכֹרוֹbe/kho/ROhis firstbornוְאֶת־חֵת׃ve/ET-chetand Heth

    And Canaan begat Sidon his firstborn, and Heth,

16. 16

    וְאֶת־הַיְבוּסִיve/ET-hay/vu/SIand the Jebusiteוְאֶת־הָאֱמֹרִיve/ET-ha/e/mo/RIand the Amoriteוְאֵתve/ETandהַגִּרְגָּשִׁי׃hag/Gir/ga/SHIthe Girgashite

    And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite,

17. 17

    וְאֶת־הַחִוִּיve/ET-ha/chiv/VIand the Hiviteוְאֶת־הַעַרְקִיve/ET-ha/ar/KIand the Arkiteוְאֶת־הַסִּינִי׃ve/ET-has/si/NIand the Sinite

    And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

18. 18

    וְאֶת־הָאַרְוָדִיve/ET-ha/ar/va/DIand the Arvaditeוְאֶת־הַצְּמָרִיve/ET-hats/tse/ma/RIand the Zemariteוְאֶת־הַחֲמָתִיve/ET-ha/cha/ma/TIand the Hamathiteוְאַחַרve/a/CHARand afterwardנָפֹצוּna/FO/tsuwere spread abroadמִשְׁפְּחוֹתmish/pe/CHOTthe families ofהַכְּנַעֲנִי׃hak/Ke/na/a/NIthe Canaanite

    And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad.

19. 19

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand wasגְּבוּלge/VULthe border ofהַכְּנַעֲנִיhak/Ke/na/a/NIthe Canaaniteמִצִּידֹןmits/Tsi/DONfrom Zidonבֹּאֲכָהbo/a/KHAas you goגְרָרָהGe/RA/ratoward Gerarעַד־עַזָּהad-Az/ZAunto Gazaבֹּאֲכָהbo/a/KHAas you goסְדֹמָהSe/DO/matoward Sodomוַעֲמֹרָהva/A/mo/RAand Gomorrahוְאַדְמָהve/Ad/MAand Admahוּצְבֹיִםu/Tse/vo/YIMand Zeboimעַד־לָשַׁע׃ad-LA/shaunto Lasha

    And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.

20. 20

    אֵלֶּהEL/lethese areבְנֵי־חָםve/NE-chamthe sons of Hamלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםle/mish/pe/cho/TAMafter their familiesלִלְשֹׁנֹתָםlil/sho/no/TAMafter their tonguesבְּאַרְצֹתָםbe/ar/tso/TAMin their landsבְּגוֹיֵהֶם׃be/go/ye/HEMin their nations

    These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.

21. 21

    וּלְשֵׁםu/Le/SHEMand to Shemיֻלַּדyul/LADwere bornגַּם־הוּאgam-hueven to himאֲבִיa/VIthe father ofכׇּל־בְּנֵי־עֵבֶרkol-Be/NE-E/verall the sons of Eberאֲחִיa/CHIthe brother ofיֶפֶתYE/fetJaphethהַגָּדוֹל׃hag/ga/DOLthe elder

    Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.

22. 22

    בְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofשֵׁםShemShemעֵילָםE/LAMElamוְאַשּׁוּרve/Ash/SHURand Asshurוְאַרְפַּכְשַׁדve/Ar/pakh/SHADand Arphaxadוְלוּדve/LUDand Ludוַאֲרָם׃va/A/RAMand Aram

    The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.

23. 23

    וּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the sons ofאֲרָםA/RAMAramעוּץUtsUzוְחוּלve/CHULand Hulוְגֶתֶרve/GE/terand Getherוָמַשׁ׃va/MASHand Mash

    And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.

24. 24

    וְאַרְפַּכְשַׁדve/Ar/pakh/SHADand Arphaxadיָלַדya/LADbegatאֶת־שָׁלַחet-SHA/lachShelahוְשֶׁלַחve/SHE/lachand Shelahיָלַדya/LADbegatאֶת־עֵבֶר׃et-E/verEber

    And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber.

25. 25

    וּלְעֵבֶרu/Le/E/verand to Eberיֻלַּדyul/LADwere bornשְׁנֵיshe/NEtwoבָנִיםva/NIMsonsשֵׁםshemthe name ofהָאֶחָדha/e/CHADthe oneפֶּלֶגPE/legPelegכִּיkiforבְיָמָיוve/ya/MAYVin his daysנִפְלְגָהnif/le/GAwas dividedהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthוְשֵׁםve/SHEMand the name ofאָחִיוa/CHIVhis brotherיׇקְטָן׃Yok/TANJoktan

    And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

26. 26

    וְיׇקְטָןve/Yok/TANand Joktanיָלַדya/LADbegatאֶת־אַלְמוֹדָדet-Al/mo/DADAlmodadוְאֶת־שָׁלֶףve/ET-SHA/lefand Shelephוְאֶת־חֲצַרְמָוֶתve/ET-cha/tsar/MA/vetand Hazarmavethוְאֶת־יָרַח׃ve/ET-ya/RACHand Jerah

    And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

27. 27

    וְאֶת־הֲדוֹרָםve/ET-ha/do/RAMand Hadoramוְאֶת־אוּזָלve/ET-u/ZALand Uzalוְאֶת־דִּקְלָה׃ve/ET-dik/LAand Diklah

    And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,

28. 28

    וְאֶת־עוֹבָלve/ET-o/VALand Obalוְאֶת־אֲבִימָאֵלve/ET-a/vi/ma/ELand Abimaelוְאֶת־שְׁבָא׃ve/ET-she/VAand Sheba

    And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

29. 29

    וְאֶת־אוֹפִרve/ET-o/FIRand Ophirוְאֶת־חֲוִילָהve/ET-cha/vi/LAand Havilahוְאֶת־יוֹבָבve/ET-yo/VAVand Jobabכׇּל־אֵלֶּהkol-EL/leall theseבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofיׇקְטָן׃Yok/TANJoktan

    And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan.

30. 30

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand wasמוֹשָׁבָםmo/sha/VAMtheir dwellingמִמֵּשָׁאmim/Me/SHAfrom Meshaבֹּאֲכָהbo/a/KHAas you goסְפָרָהSe/FA/ratoward Sepharהַרhara mount ofהַקֶּדֶם׃hak/KE/demthe east

    And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest unto Sephar a mount of the east.

31. 31

    אֵלֶּהEL/lethese areבְנֵי־שֵׁםve/NE-shemthe sons of Shemלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָםle/mish/pe/cho/TAMafter their familiesלִלְשֹׁנֹתָםlil/sho/no/TAMafter their tonguesבְּאַרְצֹתָםbe/ar/tso/TAMin their landsלְגוֹיֵהֶם׃le/go/ye/HEMafter their nations

    These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.

32. 32

    אֵלֶּהEL/lethese areמִשְׁפְּחֹתmish/pe/CHOTthe families ofבְּנֵי־נֹחַbe/NE-NO/achthe sons of Noahלְתוֹלְדֹתָםle/tol/do/TAMafter their generationsבְּגוֹיֵהֶםbe/go/ye/HEMin their nationsוּמֵאֵלֶּהu/me/EL/leand by theseנִפְרְדוּnif/re/DUwere dividedהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMthe nationsבָּאָרֶץba/A/retsin the earthאַחַרa/CHARafterהַמַּבּוּל׃ham/mab/BULthe flood

    These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.
