   Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.

   Then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me about the way without unto the utter gate by the way that looketh eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters on the right side.

   בְּצֵאת־הָאִישׁbe/TSET-ha/ISHwhen the man went outקָדִיםka/DIMeastwardוְקָוve/KAVwith the lineבְּיָדוֹbe/ya/DOin his handוַיָּמׇדvay/YA/modhe measuredאֶלֶףE/lefa thousandבָּאַמָּהba/am/MAcubitsוַיַּעֲבִרֵנִיvay/ya/a/vi/RE/niand he brought me throughבַמַּיִםvam/MA/yimthe watersמֵיmewaters toאׇפְסָיִם׃of/SA/yimthe ankles

   And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles.

   וַיָּמׇדvay/YA/modagain he measuredאֶלֶףE/lefa thousandוַיַּעֲבִרֵנִיvay/ya/a/vi/RE/niand brought me throughבַמַּיִםvam/MA/yimthe watersמַיִםMA/yimwaters toבִּרְכָּיִםbir/KA/yimthe kneesוַיָּמׇדvay/YA/modagain he measuredאֶלֶףE/lefa thousandוַיַּעֲבִרֵנִיvay/ya/a/vi/RE/niand brought me throughמֵיmewaters toמׇתְנָיִם׃mot/NA/yimthe loins

   Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins.

   וַיָּמׇדvay/YA/modafterward he measuredאֶלֶףE/lefa thousandנַחַלNA/chalit was a riverאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹא־אוּכַלlo-u/KHALI could notלַעֲבֹרla/a/VORpassכִּי־גָאוּki-ga/Ufor had risenהַמַּיִםham/MA/yimthe watersמֵיmewaters toשָׂחוּSA/chuswim inנַחַלNA/chala riverאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹא־יֵעָבֵר׃lo-ye/a/VERcould not be passed

   Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meהֲרָאִיתָha/ra/I/tahave you seen thisבֶן־אָדָםven-a/DAMson of manוַיּוֹלִכֵנִיvay/yo/li/KHE/nithen he led meוַיְשִׁבֵנִיvay/shi/VE/niand caused me to returnשְׂפַתse/FATto the bank ofהַנָּחַל׃han/NA/chalthe river

   And he said unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen this? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the brink of the river.

   בְּשׁוּבֵנִיbe/shu/VE/niwhen I returnedוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdאֶל־שְׂפַתel-se/FATon the bank ofהַנַּחַלhan/NA/chalthe riverעֵץetstreesרַבravmanyמְאֹדme/ODveryמִזֶּהmiz/ZEon this sideוּמִזֶּה׃u/miz/ZEand on that side

   Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meהַמַּיִםham/MA/yimthe watersהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseיוֹצְאִיםyots/IMflow outאֶל־הַגְּלִילָהel-hag/ge/li/LAtoward the regionהַקַּדְמוֹנָהhak/kad/mo/NAeasternוְיָרְדוּve/ya/re/DUand go downעַל־הָעֲרָבָהal-Ha/a/ra/VAinto the Arabahוּבָאוּu/VA/uand enterהַיָּמָּהhay/YAM/mathe seaאֶל־הַיָּמָּהel-hay/YAM/mainto the seaהַמּוּצָאִיםham/mu/tsa/IMbeing brought outוְנִרְפּאוּve/nirp/Uand shall be healedהַמָּיִם׃ham/MA/yimthe water

   Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.

   וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall come to passכׇל־נֶפֶשׁkhol-NE/feshevery creatureחַיָּהchay/YAlivingאֲשֶׁר־יִשְׁרֹץa/SHER-yish/ROTSthat swarmsאֶלelwhereverכׇּל־אֲשֶׁרkol-a/SHERany place thatיָבוֹאya/VOcomesשָׁםshamthereנַחֲלַיִםna/cha/LA/yimthe two riversיִחְיֶהyich/YEshall liveוְהָיָהve/ha/YAand there shall beהַדָּגָהhad/da/GAfishרַבָּהrab/BAmanyמְאֹדme/ODveryכִּיkiforבָאוּVA/uhave comeשָׁמָּהSHAM/mathereהַמַּיִםham/MA/yimthe watersהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוְיֵרָפְאוּve/ye/ra/fe/Uand they shall be healedוָחָיva/CHAYand shall liveכֹּלkoleverythingאֲשֶׁר־יָבוֹאa/SHER-ya/VOthat comesשָׁמָּהSHAM/mathereהַנָּחַל׃han/NA/chalthe river

   And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall come to pass(יעמדו)ymadav[עָמְדוּ]a/me/DUshall standעָלָיוa/LAYVbeside itדַּוָּגִיםdav/va/GIMfishermenמֵעֵיןme/ENfrom En-גֶּדִיGE/digediוְעַד־עֵיןve/AD-enand to En-עֶגְלַיִםeg/LA/yimeglaimמִשְׁטוֹחַmish/TO/acha place for spreadingלַחֲרָמִיםla/cha/ra/MIMnetsיִהְיוּyih/YUthey shall beלְמִינָהֿle/mi/NAaccording to their kindsתִּהְיֶהtih/YEshall beדְגָתָםde/ga/TAMtheir fishכִּדְגַתkid/GATlike the fish ofהַיָּםhay/YAMthe seaהַגָּדוֹלhag/ga/DOLthe greatרַבָּהrab/BAmanyמְאֹד׃me/ODvery

    And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from En-gedi even unto En-eglaim; they shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding many.

11. 11

    בִּצֹּאתָוbits/tso/TAVbut its swampsוּגְבָאָיוu/ge/va/AYVand its marshesוְלֹאve/LOshall notיֵרָפְאוּye/ra/fe/Ube healedלְמֶלַחle/ME/lachfor saltנִתָּנוּ׃nit/TA/nuthey shall be given

    But the miry places thereof and the marishes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt.

12. 12

    וְעַל־הַנַּחַלve/AL-han/NA/chaland by the riverיַעֲלֶהya/a/LEshall growעַל־שְׂפָתוֹal-se/fa/TOon its bankמִזֶּהmiz/ZEon this sideוּמִזֶּהu/miz/ZEand on that sideכׇּל־עֵץ־מַאֲכָלkol-ets-ma/a/KHALall trees for foodלֹא־יִבּוֹלlo-yib/BOLshall not fadeעָלֵהוּa/LE/huwhose leafוְלֹא־יִתֹּםve/LO-yit/TOMnor shall failפִּרְיוֹpir/YOits fruitלׇחֳדָשָׁיוlo/cho/da/SHAYVaccording to its monthsיְבַכֵּרye/vak/KERit shall bear new fruitכִּיkibecauseמֵימָיוme/MAYVits watersמִן־הַמִּקְדָּשׁmin-ham/mik/DASHfrom the sanctuaryהֵמָּהHEM/matheyיוֹצְאִיםyots/IMflow(והיו)vahayav[וְהָיָה]ve/ha/YAand shall beפִרְיוֹfir/YOits fruitלְמַאֲכָלle/ma/a/KHALfor foodוְעָלֵהוּve/a/LE/huand its leafלִתְרוּפָה׃lit/ru/FAfor medicine

    And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.

13. 13

    כֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODגֵּהgethis shall beגְבוּלge/VULthe borderאֲשֶׁרa/SHERby whichתִּתְנַחֲלוּtit/na/cha/LUyou shall inheritאֶת־הָאָרֶץet-ha/A/retsthe landלִשְׁנֵי־עָשָׂרlish/NE-a/SARaccording to the twelveשִׁבְטֵיshiv/TEtribes ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelיוֹסֵףYo/SEFJoseph shall haveחֲבָלִים׃cha/va/LIMportions

    Thus saith the Lord GOD; This shall be the border, whereby ye shall inherit the land according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph shall have two portions.

14. 14

    וּנְחַלְתֶּםu/ne/chal/TEMand you shall inheritאוֹתָהּo/TAitאִישׁishoneכְּאָחִיוke/a/CHIVas well as anotherאֲשֶׁרa/SHERconcerning whichנָשָׂאתִיna/SA/tiI lifted upאֶת־יָדִיet-ya/DImy handלְתִתָּהּle/tit/TAto give itלַאֲבֹתֵיכֶםla/a/vo/te/KHEMto your ancestorsוְנָפְלָהve/na/fe/LAand shall fallהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe landהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisלָכֶםla/KHEMto youבְּנַחֲלָה׃be/na/cha/LAfor inheritance

    And ye shall inherit it, one as well as another: concerning the which I lifted up mine hand to give it unto your fathers: and this land shall fall unto you for inheritance.

15. 15

    וְזֶהve/ZEand this shall beגְּבוּלge/VULborder ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe landלִפְאַתlif/ATon the sideצָפוֹנָהtsa/FO/nanorthמִן־הַיָּםmin-hay/YAMfrom the seaהַגָּדוֹלhag/ga/DOLthe greatהַדֶּרֶךְhad/DE/rekhthe way ofחֶתְלֹןChet/LONHethlonלְבוֹאle/VOas one goes toצְדָדָה׃Tse/DA/dato Zedad

    And this shall be the border of the land toward the north side, from the great sea, the way of Hethlon, as men go to Zedad;

16. 16

    חֲמָתCha/MATHamathבֵּרוֹתָהBe/RO/taBerothahסִבְרַיִםSiv/RA/yimSibraimאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich isבֵּין־גְּבוּלben-ge/VULbetween the border ofדַּמֶּשֶׂקDam/ME/sekDamascusוּבֵיןu/VENand betweenגְּבוּלge/VULthe border ofחֲמָתCha/MATHamathחָצֵרCha/TSERHazar-הַתִּיכוֹןhat/ti/KHONhatticonאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich isאֶל־גְּבוּלel-ge/VULby the border ofחַוְרָן׃Chav/RANHauran

    Hamath, Berothah, Sibraim, which is between the border of Damascus and the border of Hamath; Hazar-hatticon, which is by the coast of Hauran.

17. 17

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand shall beגְבוּלge/VULthe borderמִן־הַיָּםmin-hay/YAMfrom the seaחֲצַרCha/TSARHazar-עֵינוֹןe/NONenanגְּבוּלge/VULthe border ofדַּמֶּשֶׂקDam/ME/sekDamascusוְצָפוֹןve/tsa/FONand the northצָפוֹנָהtsa/FO/nanorthwardוּגְבוּלu/ge/VULand the border ofחֲמָתCha/MATHamathוְאֵתve/ETand this isפְּאַתpe/ATthe side ofצָפוֹן׃tsa/FONthe north

    And the border from the sea shall be Hazar-enan, the border of Damascus, and the north northward, and the border of Hamath. And this is the north side.

18. 18

    וּפְאַתu/fe/ATand the side ofקָדִיםka/DIMthe eastמִבֵּיןmib/BENbetweenחַוְרָןChav/RANHauranוּמִבֵּין־דַּמֶּשֶׂקu/Mib/BEN-dam/ME/sekand Damascusוּמִבֵּיןu/mib/BENand betweenהַגִּלְעָדHag/gil/ADGileadוּמִבֵּיןu/mib/BENandאֶרֶץE/retsthe land ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelהַיַּרְדֵּןhay/Yar/DENby the Jordanמִגְּבוּלmig/ge/VULfrom the borderעַל־הַיָּםal-hay/YAMto the seaהַקַּדְמוֹנִיhak/kad/mo/NIeasternתָּמֹדּוּta/MOD/duyou shall measureוְאֵתve/ETand this isפְּאַתpe/ATthe sideקָדִימָה׃ka/DI/maeast

    And the east side ye shall measure from Hauran, and from Damascus, and from Gilead, and from the land of Israel by Jordan, from the border unto the east sea. And this is the east side.

19. 19

    וּפְאַתu/fe/ATand the sideנֶגֶבNE/gevsouthתֵּימָנָהte/MA/natoward the southמִתָּמָרmit/Ta/MARfrom Tamarעַד־מֵיad-meto the waters ofמְרִיבוֹתme/ri/VOTstrifeקָדֵשׁKa/DESHKadeshנַחֲלָהna/cha/LAto the brookאֶל־הַיָּםel-hay/YAMto the seaהַגָּדוֹלhag/ga/DOLthe greatוְאֵתve/ETand this isפְּאַת־תֵּימָנָהpe/AT-te/MA/nathe south sideנֶגְבָּה׃NEG/basouthward

    And the south side southward, from Tamar even to the waters of strife in Kadesh, the river to the great sea. And this is the south side southward.

20. 20

    וּפְאַת־יָםu/fe/AT-yamand the west sideהַיָּםhay/YAMshall be the seaהַגָּדוֹלhag/ga/DOLthe greatמִגְּבוּלmig/ge/VULfrom the borderעַד־נֹכַחad-NO/khachto oppositeלְבוֹאle/VOthe entrance ofחֲמָתCha/MATHamathזֹאתzotthis isפְּאַת־יָם׃pe/AT-yamthe west side

    The west side also shall be the great sea from the border, till a man come over against Hamath. This is the west side.

21. 21

    וְחִלַּקְתֶּםve/chil/lak/TEMso you shall divideאֶת־הָאָרֶץet-ha/A/retsthe landהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisלָכֶםla/KHEMfor yourselvesלְשִׁבְטֵיle/shiv/TEaccording to the tribes ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

    So shall ye divide this land unto you according to the tribes of Israel.

22. 22

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall come to passתַּפִּלוּtap/PI/luyou shall divide by lotאוֹתָהּo/TAitבְּנַחֲלָהbe/na/cha/LAfor an inheritanceלָכֶםla/KHEMto youוּלְהַגֵּרִיםu/le/hag/ge/RIMand to the strangersהַגָּרִיםhag/ga/RIMwho sojournבְּתוֹכְכֶםbe/tokh/KHEMamong youאֲשֶׁר־הוֹלִדוּa/SHER-ho/LI/duwho shall begetבָנִיםva/NIMsonsבְּתוֹכְכֶםbe/tokh/KHEMamong youוְהָיוּve/ha/YUand they shall beלָכֶםla/KHEMto youכְּאֶזְרָחke/ez/RACHas the native bornבִּבְנֵיbiv/NEamong the sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאִתְּכֶםit/te/KHEMwith youיִפְּלוּyip/pe/LUshall be allottedבְנַחֲלָהve/na/cha/LAan inheritanceבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHamongשִׁבְטֵיshiv/TEthe tribes ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

    And it shall come to pass, that ye shall divide it by lot for an inheritance unto you, and to the strangers that sojourn among you, which shall beget children among you: and they shall be unto you as born in the country among the children of Israel; they shall have inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel.

23. 23

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall come to passבַשֵּׁבֶטvash/SHE/vetin the tribeאֲשֶׁר־גָּרa/SHER-garin which sojournsהַגֵּרhag/GERthe strangerאִתּוֹit/TOwith himשָׁםshamthereתִּתְּנוּtit/te/NUyou shall give himנַחֲלָתוֹna/cha/la/TOhis inheritanceנְאֻםne/UMsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe Lordיֱהֹוִה׃AdonaiGOD

    And it shall come to pass, that in what tribe the stranger sojourneth, there shall ye give him his inheritance, saith the Lord GOD.
