    כֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODשַׁעַרSHA/arthe gate ofהֶחָצֵרhe/cha/TSERthe courtהַפְּנִימִיתhap/pe/ni/MITthe innerהַפֹּנֶהhap/po/NEthat facesקָדִיםka/DIMeastיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beסָגוּרsa/GURshutשֵׁשֶׁתSHE/shetthe sixיְמֵיye/MEdays ofהַמַּעֲשֶׂהham/ma/a/SEworkוּבְיוֹםu/ve/YOMand in the day ofהַשַּׁבָּתhash/shab/BATthe sabbathיִפָּתֵחַyip/pa/TE/achit shall be openedוּבְיוֹםu/ve/YOMand in the day ofהַחֹדֶשׁha/CHO/deshthe new moonיִפָּתֵחַ׃yip/pa/TE/achit shall be opened

    Thus saith the Lord GOD; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.

    וּבָאu/VAand shall enterהַנָּשִׂיאhan/na/SIthe princeדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhby the way ofאוּלָםu/LAMthe porch ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateמִחוּץmi/CHUTSfrom outsideוְעָמַדve/a/MADand shall standעַל־מְזוּזַתal-me/zu/ZATby the post ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateוְעָשׂוּve/a/SUand shall prepareהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsאֶת־עוֹלָתוֹet-o/la/TOhis burnt offeringוְאֶת־שְׁלָמָיוve/ET-she/la/MAYVand his peace offeringוְהִשְׁתַּחֲוָהve/hish/ta/cha/VAand he shall worshipעַל־מִפְתַּןal-mif/TANat the threshold ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateוְיָצָאve/ya/TSAthen he shall go outוְהַשַּׁעַרve/hash/SHA/arbut the gateלֹא־יִסָּגֵרlo-yis/sa/GERshall not be shutעַד־הָעָרֶב׃ad-ha/A/revuntil the evening

    And the prince shall enter by the way of the porch of that gate without, and shall stand by the post of the gate, and the priests shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, and he shall worship at the threshold of the gate: then he shall go forth; but the gate shall not be shut until the evening.

    וְהִשְׁתַּחֲווּve/hish/ta/cha/VUlikewise shall worshipעַם־הָאָרֶץam-ha/A/retsthe people of the landפֶּתַחPE/tachat the entrance ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateהַהוּאha/HUthatבַּשַּׁבָּתוֹתbash/shab/ba/TOTon the sabbathsוּבֶחֳדָשִׁיםu/ve/cho/da/SHIMand on the new moonsלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    Likewise the people of the land shall worship at the door of this gate before the LORD in the sabbaths and in the new moons.

    וְהָעֹלָהve/ha/o/LAand the burnt offeringאֲשֶׁר־יַקְרִבa/SHER-yak/RIVthat shall offerהַנָּשִׂיאhan/na/SIthe princeלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDבְּיוֹםbe/YOMon the day ofהַשַּׁבָּתhash/shab/BATthe sabbathשִׁשָּׁהshish/SHAsixכְבָשִׂיםkhe/va/SIMlambsתְּמִימִםte/mi/MIMwithout blemishוְאַיִלve/A/yiland a ramתָּמִים׃ta/MIMwithout blemish

    And the burnt offering that the prince shall offer unto the LORD in the sabbath day shall be six lambs without blemish, and a ram without blemish.

    וּמִנְחָהu/min/CHAand a grain offeringאֵיפָהe/FAan ephahלָאַיִלla/A/yilfor a ramוְלַכְּבָשִׂיםve/lak/ke/va/SIMand for the lambsמִנְחָהmin/CHAa grain offeringמַתַּתmat/TATthe gift ofיָדוֹya/DOhis handוְשֶׁמֶןve/SHE/menand oilהִיןhina hinלָאֵיפָה׃la/e/FAfor an ephah

    And the meat offering shall be an ephah for a ram, and the meat offering for the lambs as he shall be able to give, and an hin of oil to an ephah.

    וּבְיוֹםu/ve/YOMand on the day ofהַחֹדֶשׁha/CHO/deshthe new moonפַּרpara bullבֶּן־בָּקָרben-ba/KARyoungתְּמִימִםte/mi/MIMwithout blemishוְשֵׁשֶׁתve/SHE/shetand sixכְּבָשִׂיםke/va/SIMlambsוָאַיִלva/A/yiland a ramתְּמִימִםte/mi/MIMwithout blemishיִהְיוּ׃yih/YUshall be

    And in the day of the new moon it shall be a young bullock without blemish, and six lambs, and a ram: they shall be without blemish.

    וְאֵיפָהve/e/FAand an ephahלַפָּרlap/PARfor a bullוְאֵיפָהve/e/FAand an ephahלָאַיִלla/A/yilfor a ramיַעֲשֶׂהya/a/SEhe shall prepareמִנְחָהmin/CHAa grain offeringוְלַכְּבָשִׂיםve/lak/ke/va/SIMand for the lambsכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasתַּשִּׂיגtas/SIGcan attainיָדוֹya/DOhis handוְשֶׁמֶןve/SHE/menand oilהִיןhina hinלָאֵיפָה׃la/e/FAfor an ephah

    And he shall prepare a meat offering, an ephah for a bullock, and an ephah for a ram, and for the lambs according as his hand shall attain unto, and an hin of oil to an ephah.

    וּבְבוֹאu/ve/VOand when entersהַנָּשִׂיאhan/na/SIthe princeדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhby the way ofאוּלָםu/LAMthe porch ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateיָבוֹאya/VOhe shall enterוּבְדַרְכּוֹu/ve/dar/KOand by its wayיֵצֵא׃ye/TSEhe shall go out

    And when the prince shall enter, he shall go in by the way of the porch of that gate, and he shall go forth by the way thereof.

    וּבְבוֹאu/ve/VObut when comeעַם־הָאָרֶץam-ha/A/retsthe people of the landלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבַּמּוֹעֲדִיםbam/mo/a/DIMat the appointed timesהַבָּאhab/BAhe who entersדֶּרֶךְ־שַׁעַרDE/rekh-SHA/arby the way of the gate ofצָפוֹןtsa/FONthe northלְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֺתle/hish/ta/cha/VOTto worshipיֵצֵאye/TSEshall go outדֶּרֶךְ־שַׁעַרDE/rekh-SHA/arby the way of the gate ofנֶגֶבNE/gevthe southוְהַבָּאve/hab/BAand he who entersדֶּרֶךְ־שַׁעַרDE/rekh-SHA/arby the way of the gate ofנֶגֶבNE/gevthe southיֵצֵאye/TSEshall go outדֶּרֶךְ־שַׁעַרDE/rekh-SHA/arby the way of the gateצָפוֹנָהtsa/FO/nanorthwardלֹאlonotיָשׁוּבya/SHUVshall returnדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhby the way ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateאֲשֶׁר־בָּאa/SHER-bathat he cameבוֹvobyכִּיkibutנִכְחוֹnikh/CHOstraight ahead(יצאו)yatsv[יֵצֵא]׃ye/TSEhe shall go out

    But when the people of the land shall come before the LORD in the solemn feasts, he that entereth in by the way of the north gate to worship shall go out by the way of the south gate; and he that entereth by the way of the south gate shall go forth by the way of the north gate: he shall not return by the way of the gate whereby he came in, but shall go forth over against it.

    וְהַנָּשִׂיאve/han/na/SIand the princeבְּתוֹכָםbe/to/KHAMamong themבְּבוֹאָםbe/vo/AMwhen they go inיָבוֹאya/VOshall go inוּבְצֵאתָםu/ve/tse/TAMand when they go outיֵצֵאוּ׃ye/TSE/uthey shall go out

    And the prince in the midst of them, when they go in, shall go in; and when they go forth, shall go forth.

    וּבַחַגִּיםu/va/chag/GIMand at the feastsוּבַמּוֹעֲדִיםu/vam/mo/a/DIMand in the appointed seasonsתִּהְיֶהtih/YEshall beהַמִּנְחָהham/min/CHAthe grain offeringאֵיפָהe/FAan ephahלַפָּרlap/PARfor a bullוְאֵיפָהve/e/FAand an ephahלָאַיִלla/A/yilfor a ramוְלַכְּבָשִׂיםve/lak/ke/va/SIMand for the lambsמַתַּתmat/TATthe gift ofיָדוֹya/DOhis handוְשֶׁמֶןve/SHE/menand oilהִיןhina hinלָאֵיפָה׃la/e/FAfor an ephah

    And in the feasts and in the solemnities the meat offering shall be an ephah to a bullock, and an ephah to a ram, and to the lambs as he is able to give, and an hin of oil to an ephah.

    וְכִי־יַעֲשֶׂהve/KHI-ya/a/SEand when shall prepareהַנָּשִׂיאhan/na/SIthe princeנְדָבָהne/da/VAa freewill offeringעוֹלָהo/LAa burnt offeringאוֹ־שְׁלָמִיםo-she/la/MIMor peace offeringsנְדָבָהne/da/VAa freewill offeringלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDוּפָתַחu/FA/tachthen shall openלוֹlofor himאֶת־הַשַּׁעַרet-hash/SHA/arthe gateהַפֹּנֶהhap/po/NEthat facesקָדִיםka/DIMeastוְעָשָׂהve/a/SAand he shall prepareאֶת־עֹלָתוֹet-o/la/TOhis burnt offeringוְאֶת־שְׁלָמָיוve/ET-she/la/MAYVand his peace offeringכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasיַעֲשֶׂהya/a/SEhe doesבְּיוֹםbe/YOMin the day ofהַשַּׁבָּתhash/shab/BATthe sabbathוְיָצָאve/ya/TSAthen he shall go outוְסָגַרve/sa/GARand shall shutאֶת־הַשַּׁעַרet-hash/SHA/arthe gateאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterצֵאתוֹ׃tse/TOhe has gone out

    Now when the prince shall prepare a voluntary burnt offering or peace offerings voluntarily unto the LORD, one shall then open him the gate that looketh toward the east, and he shall prepare his burnt offering and his peace offerings, as he did on the sabbath day: then he shall go forth; and after his going forth one shall shut the gate.

    וְכֶבֶשׂve/KHE/vesand a lambבֶּן־שְׁנָתוֹben-she/na/TOa year oldתָּמִיםta/MIMwithout blemishתַּעֲשֶׂהta/a/SEyou shall prepareעוֹלָהo/LAa burnt offeringלַיּוֹםlay/YOMdailyלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDבַּבֹּקֶרbab/BO/kermorning byבַּבֹּקֶרbab/BO/kermorningתַּעֲשֶׂהta/a/SEyou shall prepareאֹתוֹ׃o/TOit

    Thou shalt daily prepare a burnt offering unto the LORD of a lamb of the first year without blemish: thou shalt prepare it every morning.

    וּמִנְחָהu/min/CHAand a grain offeringתַעֲשֶׂהta/a/SEyou shall prepareעָלָיוa/LAYVwith itבַּבֹּקֶרbab/BO/kermorning byבַּבֹּקֶרbab/BO/kermorningשִׁשִּׁיתshish/SHITthe sixth ofהָאֵיפָהha/e/FAan ephahוְשֶׁמֶןve/SHE/menand oilשְׁלִישִׁיתshe/li/SHITthe third ofהַהִיןha/HINa hinלָרֹסla/ROSto moistenאֶת־הַסֹּלֶתet-has/SO/letthe fine flourמִנְחָהmin/CHAa grain offeringלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDחֻקּוֹתchuk/KOTordinancesעוֹלָםo/LAMperpetualתָּמִיד׃ta/MIDcontinually

    And thou shalt prepare a meat offering for it every morning, the sixth part of an ephah, and the third part of an hin of oil, to temper with the fine flour; a meat offering continually by a perpetual ordinance unto the LORD.

  15. 15

    (ועשו)vshav[יַעֲשׂוּ]ya/a/SUthus shall they prepareאֶת־הַכֶּבֶשׂet-hak/KE/vesthe lambוְאֶת־הַמִּנְחָהve/ET-ham/min/CHAand the grain offeringוְאֶת־הַשֶּׁמֶןve/ET-hash/SHE/menand the oilבַּבֹּקֶרbab/BO/kermorning byבַּבֹּקֶרbab/BO/kermorningעוֹלַתo/LATa burnt offeringתָּמִיד׃ta/MIDcontinual

    Thus shall they prepare the lamb, and the meat offering, and the oil, every morning for a continual burnt offering.

    כֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODכִּי־יִתֵּןki-yit/TENif givesהַנָּשִׂיאhan/na/SIthe princeמַתָּנָהmat/ta/NAa giftלְאִישׁle/ISHto anyמִבָּנָיוmib/ba/NAYVof his sonsנַחֲלָתוֹna/cha/la/TOhis inheritanceהִיאhiit isלְבָנָיוle/va/NAYVto his sonsתִּהְיֶהtih/YEshall beאֲחֻזָּתָםa/chuz/za/TAMtheir possessionהִיאhiit isבְּנַחֲלָה׃be/na/cha/LAby inheritance

    Thus saith the Lord GOD; If the prince give a gift unto any of his sons, the inheritance thereof shall be his sons'; it shall be their possession by inheritance.

  17. 17

    וְכִי־יִתֵּןve/KHI-yit/TENbut if he givesמַתָּנָהmat/ta/NAa giftמִנַּחֲלָתוֹmin/na/cha/la/TOfrom his inheritanceלְאַחַדle/a/CHADto oneמֵעֲבָדָיוme/a/va/DAYVof his servantsוְהָיְתָהve/ha/ye/TAthen it shall beלּוֹlohisעַד־שְׁנַתad-she/NATuntil the year ofהַדְּרוֹרhad/de/RORlibertyוְשָׁבַתve/sha/VATthen it shall returnלַנָּשִׂיאlan/na/SIto the princeאַךְakhbutנַחֲלָתוֹna/cha/la/TOhis inheritanceבָּנָיוba/NAYVhis sonsלָהֶםla/HEMtheirsתִּהְיֶה׃tih/YEit shall be

    But if he give a gift of his inheritance to one of his servants, then it shall be his to the year of liberty; after it shall return to the prince: but his inheritance shall be his sons' for them.

    וְלֹא־יִקַּחve/LO-yik/KACHmoreover shall not takeהַנָּשִׂיאhan/na/SIthe princeמִנַּחֲלַתmin/na/cha/LATof the inheritance ofהָעָםha/AMthe peopleלְהוֹנֹתָםle/ho/no/TAMby oppressing themמֵאֲחֻזָּתָםme/a/chuz/za/TAMout of their possessionמֵאֲחֻזָּתוֹme/a/chuz/za/TOout of his own possessionיַנְחִלyan/CHILhe shall give inheritance toאֶת־בָּנָיוet-ba/NAYVhis sonsלְמַעַןle/MA/ansoאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹא־יָפֻצוּlo-ya/FU/tsumay not be scatteredעַמִּיam/MImy peopleאִישׁishanyמֵאֲחֻזָּתוֹ׃me/a/chuz/za/TOfrom his possession

    Moreover the prince shall not take of the people's inheritance by oppression, to thrust them out of their possession; but he shall give his sons inheritance out of his own possession: that my people be not scattered every man from his possession.

    וַיְבִיאֵנִיvay/vi/E/nithen he brought meבַמָּבוֹאvam/ma/VOthrough the entryאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat wasעַל־כֶּתֶףal-KE/tefat the side ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateאֶל־הַלִּשְׁכוֹתel-hal/lish/KHOTinto the chambers ofהַקֹּדֶשׁhak/KO/deshholinessאֶל־הַכֹּהֲנִיםel-hak/ko/ha/NIMfor the priestsהַפֹּנוֹתhap/po/NOTwhich facedצָפוֹנָהtsa/FO/nanorthwardוְהִנֵּה־שָׁםve/hin/NE-shamand behold thereמָקוֹםma/KOMwas a place[בַּיַּרְכָתַיִם]bay/yar/kha/TA/yimat the far endיָמָּה׃YAM/mawestward

    After he brought me through the entry, which was at the side of the gate, into the holy chambers of the priests, which looked toward the north: and, behold, there was a place on the two sides westward.

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meזֶהzethis isהַמָּקוֹםham/ma/KOMthe placeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereיְבַשְּׁלוּ־שָׁםye/vash/she/LU-shamshall boilהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsאֶת־הָאָשָׁםet-ha/a/SHAMthe guilt offeringוְאֶת־הַחַטָּאתve/ET-ha/chat/TATand the sin offeringאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereיֹאפוּyo/FUthey shall bakeאֶת־הַמִּנְחָהet-ham/min/CHAthe grain offeringלְבִלְתִּיle/vil/TIthat notהוֹצִיאho/TSIthey carry outאֶל־הֶחָצֵרel-he/cha/TSERinto the courtהַחִיצוֹנָהha/chi/tso/NAthe outerלְקַדֵּשׁle/kad/DESHto sanctifyאֶת־הָעָם׃et-ha/AMthe people

    Then said he unto me, This is the place where the priests shall boil the trespass offering and the sin offering, where they shall bake the meat offering; that they bear them not out into the utter court, to sanctify the people.

    וַיּוֹצִיאֵנִיvay/yo/tsi/E/nithen he brought me outאֶל־הֶחָצֵרel-he/cha/TSERinto the courtהַחִיצוֹנָהha/chi/tso/NAthe outerוַיַּעֲבִרֵנִיvay/ya/a/vi/RE/niand caused me to passאֶל־אַרְבַּעַתel-ar/BA/atto the fourמִקְצוֹעֵיmik/tso/Ecorners ofהֶחָצֵרhe/cha/TSERthe courtוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdחָצֵרcha/TSERa courtבְּמִקְצֹעַbe/mik/TSO/ain every corner ofהֶחָצֵרhe/cha/TSERthe courtחָצֵרcha/TSERa courtבְּמִקְצֹעַbe/mik/TSO/ain every corner ofהֶחָצֵר׃he/cha/TSERthe court

    Then he brought me forth into the utter court, and caused me to pass by the four corners of the court; and, behold, in every corner of the court there was a court.

    בְּאַרְבַּעַתbe/ar/BA/atin the fourמִקְצֹעוֹתmik/tso/OTcorners ofהֶחָצֵרhe/cha/TSERthe courtחֲצֵרוֹתcha/tse/ROTwere courtsקְטֻרוֹתke/tu/ROTenclosedאַרְבָּעִיםar/ba/IMfortyאֹרֶךְO/rekhlongוּשְׁלֹשִׁיםu/she/lo/SHIMand thirtyרֹחַבRO/chavwideמִדָּהmid/DAmeasureאַחַתa/CHAToneלְאַרְבַּעְתָּםle/ar/ba/TAMthe four hadמְׄהֻׄקְׄצָׄעׄוֹׄתׄ׃me/huk/tsa/OTset in corners

    In the four corners of the court there were courts joined of forty cubits long and thirty broad: these four corners were of one measure.

    וְטוּרve/TURand a rowסָבִיבsa/VIVaroundבָּהֶםba/HEMin themסָבִיבsa/VIVaroundלְאַרְבַּעְתָּםle/ar/ba/TAMthe fourוּמְבַשְּׁלוֹתu/me/vash/she/LOTand boiling places wereעָשׂוּיa/SUYmadeמִתַּחַתmit/TA/chatunderהַטִּירוֹתhat/ti/ROTthe rowsסָבִיב׃sa/VIVall around

    And there was a row of building round about in them, round about them four, and it was made with boiling places under the rows round about.

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלָיe/LAYto meאֵלֶּהEL/lethese areבֵּיתbetthe houses ofהַמְבַשְּׁלִיםham/vash/she/LIMthose who boilאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereיְבַשְּׁלוּ־שָׁםye/vash/she/LU-shamshall boilמְשָׁרְתֵיme/sha/re/TEthe ministers ofהַבַּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseאֶת־זֶבַחet-ZE/vachthe sacrifice ofהָעָם׃ha/AMthe people

    Then said he unto me, These are the places of them that boil, where the ministers of the house shall boil the sacrifice of the people.
