   וַיּוֹלִכֵנִיvay/yo/li/KHE/niafterward he brought meאֶל־הַשָּׁעַרel-hash/SHA/arto the gateשַׁעַרSHA/arthe gateאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatפֹּנֶהpo/NEfacesדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardהַקָּדִים׃hak/ka/DIMthe east

   Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east:

   וְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdכְּבוֹדke/VODthe glory ofאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelבָּאbacameמִדֶּרֶךְmid/DE/rekhfrom the way ofהַקָּדִיםhak/ka/DIMthe eastוְקוֹלוֹve/ko/LOand His voice wasכְּקוֹלke/KOLlike the sound ofמַיִםMA/yimwatersרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyוְהָאָרֶץve/ha/A/retsand the earthהֵאִירָהhe/I/rashoneמִכְּבֹדוֹ׃mik/ke/vo/DOwith His glory

   And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.

   וּכְמַרְאֵהu/khe/mar/Eand like the appearance ofהַמַּרְאֶהham/mar/Ethe visionאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatרָאִיתִיra/I/tiI sawכַּמַּרְאֶהkam/mar/Elike the visionאֲשֶׁר־רָאִיתִיa/SHER-ra/I/tithat I sawבְּבֹאִיbe/vo/Iwhen I cameלְשַׁחֵתle/sha/CHETto destroyאֶת־הָעִירet-ha/IRthe cityוּמַרְאוֹתu/mar/OTand the visions wereכַּמַּרְאֶהkam/mar/Elike the visionאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatרָאִיתִיra/I/tiI sawאֶל־נְהַר־כְּבָרel-Ne/HAR-ke/VARby the river Chebarוָאֶפֹּלva/ep/POLand I fellאֶל־פָּנָי׃el-pa/NAYon my face

   And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.

   And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.

   וַתִּשָּׂאֵנִיvat/tis/sa/E/niso lifted me upרוּחַRU/achthe spiritוַתְּבִאֵנִיvat/te/vi/E/niand brought meאֶל־הֶחָצֵרel-he/cha/TSERinto the courtהַפְּנִימִיhap/pe/ni/MIthe innerוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdמָלֵאma/LEfilledכְבוֹד־יְהֹוָהkhe/VOD-Adonaithe glory of the LORDהַבָּיִת׃hab/BA/yitthe house

   So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.

   וָאֶשְׁמַעva/esh/MAand I heardמִדַּבֵּרmid/dab/BERone speakingאֵלַיe/LAYto meמֵהַבָּיִתme/hab/BA/yitout of the houseוְאִישׁve/ISHand the manהָיָהha/YAwasעֹמֵדo/MEDstandingאֶצְלִי׃ets/LIbeside me

   And I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meבֶּן־אָדָםben-a/DAMson of manאֶת־מְקוֹםet-me/KOMthis is the place ofכִּסְאִיkis/Imy throneוְאֶת־מְקוֹםve/ET-me/KOMand the place ofכַּפּוֹתkap/POTthe soles ofרַגְלַיrag/LAYmy feetאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereאֶשְׁכׇּן־שָׁםesh/KON-shamI will dwellבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHin the midst ofבְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלbe/NE-yis/ra/ELthe sons of Israelלְעוֹלָםle/o/LAMforeverוְלֹאve/LOand notיְטַמְּאוּye/tam/me/Ushall defileעוֹדodagainבֵּית־יִשְׂרָאֵלbet-Yis/ra/ELthe house of Israelשֵׁםshemthe name ofקׇדְשִׁיkod/SHImy holinessהֵמָּהHEM/matheyוּמַלְכֵיהֶםu/mal/khe/HEMand their kingsבִּזְנוּתָםbiz/nu/TAMby their harlotryוּבְפִגְרֵיu/ve/fig/REnor by the corpses ofמַלְכֵיהֶםmal/khe/HEMtheir kingsבָּמוֹתָם׃ba/mo/TAMin their high places

   And he said unto me, Son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and my holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.

   In their setting of their threshold by my thresholds, and their post by my posts, and the wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in mine anger.

   עַתָּהat/TAnowיְרַחֲקוּye/ra/cha/KUlet them put awayאֶת־זְנוּתָםet-ze/nu/TAMtheir harlotryוּפִגְרֵיu/fig/REand the corpses ofמַלְכֵיהֶםmal/khe/HEMtheir kingsמִמֶּנִּיmim/MEN/nifrom meוְשָׁכַנְתִּיve/sha/khan/TIand I will dwellבְתוֹכָםve/to/KHAMamong themלְעוֹלָם׃le/o/LAMforever

   Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.

    אַתָּהat/TAyouבֶן־אָדָםven-a/DAMson of manהַגֵּדhag/GEDshowאֶת־בֵּית־יִשְׂרָאֵלet-Bet-yis/ra/ELthe house of Israelאֶת־הַבַּיִתet-hab/BA/yitthe houseוְיִכָּלְמוּve/yik/ka/le/MUthat they may be ashamedמֵעֲוֺנוֹתֵיהֶםme/a/vo/no/te/HEMof their iniquitiesוּמָדְדוּu/ma/de/DUand let them measureאֶת־תׇּכְנִית׃et-tokh/NITthe pattern

    Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.

    וְאִם־נִכְלְמוּve/IM-nikh/le/MUand if they are ashamedמִכֹּלmik/KOLof allאֲשֶׁר־עָשׂוּa/SHER-a/SUthat they have doneצוּרַתtsu/RATthe design ofהַבַּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseוּתְכוּנָתוֹu/te/khu/na/TOand its fashionוּמוֹצָאָיוu/mo/tsa/AYVand its exitsוּמוֹבָאָיוu/mo/va/AYVand its entrancesוְכׇל־צוּרֹתָוve/KHOL-tsu/ro/TAVand all its designsוְאֵתve/ETandכׇּל־חֻקֹּתָיוkol-chuk/ko/TAYVall its ordinancesוְכׇל־צוּרֹתָוve/KHOL-tsu/ro/TAVand all its designsוְכׇל־תּוֹרֹתָוve/KHOL-to/ro/TAVand all its lawsהוֹדַעho/DAmake knownאוֹתָםo/TAMthemוּכְתֹבu/khe/TOVand write itלְעֵינֵיהֶםle/e/ne/HEMbefore their eyesוְיִשְׁמְרוּve/yish/me/RUthat they may keepאֶת־כׇּל־צוּרָתוֹet-kol-tsu/ra/TOits whole designוְאֶת־כׇּל־חֻקֹּתָיוve/ET-kol-chuk/ko/TAYVand all its ordinancesוְעָשׂוּve/a/SUand doאוֹתָם׃o/TAMthem

    And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.

    זֹאתzotthis isתּוֹרַתto/RATthe law ofהַבָּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseעַל־רֹאשׁal-roshon the top ofהָהָרha/HARthe mountainכׇּל־גְּבֻלוֹkol-ge/vu/LOits whole limitסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundקֹדֶשׁKO/deshshall be the holy ofקׇדָשִׁיםko/da/SHIMholiesהִנֵּה־זֹאתhin/NE-zotbehold this isתּוֹרַתto/RATthe law ofהַבָּיִת׃hab/BA/yitthe house

    This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.

    וְאֵלֶּהve/EL/leand these areמִדּוֹתmid/DOTthe measures ofהַמִּזְבֵּחַham/miz/BE/achthe altarבָּאַמּוֹתba/am/MOTin cubitsאַמָּהam/MAthe cubit isאַמָּהam/MAa cubitוָטֹפַחva/TO/fachand a handbreadthוְחֵיקve/CHEKand the baseהָאַמָּהha/am/MAa cubitוְאַמָּה־רֹחַבve/am/MA-RO/chavand the breadth a cubitוּגְבוּלָהּu/ge/vu/LAand its borderאֶל־שְׂפָתָהּel-se/fa/TAon its edgeסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundזֶרֶתZE/reta spanהָאֶחָדha/e/CHADoneוְזֶהve/ZEand this isגַּבgavthe mound ofהַמִּזְבֵּחַ׃ham/miz/BE/achthe altar

    And these are the measures of the altar after the cubits: The cubit is a cubit and an hand breadth; even the bottom shall be a cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about shall be a span: and this shall be the higher place of the altar.

    וּמֵחֵיקu/me/CHEKand from the base onהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe groundעַד־הָעֲזָרָהad-ha/a/za/RAto the ledgeהַתַּחְתּוֹנָהhat/tach/TO/nalowerשְׁתַּיִםSHTA/yimtwoאַמּוֹתam/MOTcubitsוְרֹחַבve/RO/chavand the breadthאַמָּהam/MAcubitאֶחָתe/CHAToneוּמֵהָעֲזָרָהu/me/ha/a/za/RAand from the ledgeהַקְּטַנָּהhak/ke/tan/NAsmallעַד־הָעֲזָרָהad-ha/a/za/RAto the ledgeהַגְּדוֹלָהhag/ge/do/LAthe greatאַרְבַּעar/BAfourאַמּוֹתam/MOTcubitsוְרֹחַבve/RO/chavand the breadthהָאַמָּה׃ha/am/MAa cubit

    And from the bottom upon the ground even to the lower settle shall be two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle even to the greater settle shall be four cubits, and the breadth one cubit.

15. 15

    וְהַהַרְאֵלve/ha/har/ELand the altar hearthאַרְבַּעar/BAfourאַמּוֹתam/MOTcubits[וּמֵהָאֲרִיאֵל]u/me/ha/a/ri/ELand from the altar hearthוּלְמַעְלָהu/le/MA/laand aboveהַקְּרָנוֹתhak/ke/ra/NOTthe hornsאַרְבַּע׃ar/BAfour

    So the altar shall be four cubits; and from the altar and upward shall be four horns.

16. 16

    [וְהָאֲרִיאֵל]ve/ha/a/ri/ELand the altar hearthשְׁתֵּים־עֶשְׂרֵהshtem-es/REtwelveאֹרֶךְO/rekhlongבִּשְׁתֵּים־עֶשְׂרֵהbish/TEM-es/REby twelveרֹחַבRO/chavwideרָבוּעַra/VU/asquareאֶלelinאַרְבַּעַתar/BA/atits fourרְבָעָיו׃re/va/AYVsides

    And the altar shall be twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square in the four squares thereof.

17. 17

    וְהָעֲזָרָהve/ha/a/za/RAand the ledgeאַרְבַּע־עֶשְׂרֵהar/BA-es/REfourteenאֹרֶךְO/rekhlongבְּאַרְבַּע־עֶשְׂרֵהbe/ar/BA-es/REby fourteenרֹחַבRO/chavwideאֶלelinאַרְבַּעַתar/BA/atits fourרְבָעֶיהָre/va/E/hasidesוְהַגְּבוּלve/hag/ge/VULand the borderסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundאוֹתָהּo/TAabout itחֲצִיcha/TSIhalfהָאַמָּהha/am/MAa cubitוְהַחֵיק־לָהּve/ha/CHEK-laand its baseאַמָּהam/MAa cubitסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundוּמַעֲלֹתֵהוּu/ma/a/lo/TE/huand its stepsפְּנוֹתpe/NOTshall faceקָדִים׃ka/DIMeast

    And the settle shall be fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad in the four squares thereof; and the border about it shall be half a cubit; and the bottom thereof shall be a cubit about; and his stairs shall look toward the east.

18. 18

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meבֶּן־אָדָםben-a/DAMson of manכֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODאֵלֶּהEL/letheseחֻקּוֹתchuk/KOTthe ordinances ofהַמִּזְבֵּחַham/miz/BE/achthe altarבְּיוֹםbe/YOMin the day ofהֵעָשׂוֹתוֹhe/a/so/TOwhen they make itלְהַעלוֹתle/ha/LOTto offerעָלָיוa/LAYVon itעוֹלָהo/LAburnt offeringsוְלִזְרֹקve/liz/ROKand to sprinkleעָלָיוa/LAYVon itדָּם׃damblood

    And he said unto me, Son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.

19. 19

    וְנָתַתָּהve/na/tat/TAand you shall giveאֶל־הַכֹּהֲנִיםel-hak/ko/ha/NIMto the priestsהַלְוִיִּםHal/viy/YIMthe Levitesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoהֵםhemareמִזֶּרַעmiz/ZE/rafrom the seed ofצָדוֹקTsa/DOKZadokהַקְּרֹבִיםhak/ke/ro/VIMwho approachאֵלַיe/LAYto meנְאֻםne/UMsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODלְשָׁרְתֵנִיle/sha/re/TE/nito minister to meפַּרpara bullבֶּן־בָּקָרben-ba/KARyoungלְחַטָּאת׃le/chat/TATfor a sin offering

    And thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, saith the Lord GOD, a young bullock for a sin offering.

20. 20

    וְלָקַחְתָּve/la/kach/TAand you will takeמִדָּמוֹmid/da/MOof its bloodוְנָתַתָּהve/na/tat/TAand put itעַל־אַרְבַּעal-ar/BAon the fourקַרְנֹתָיוkar/no/TAYVits hornsוְאֶל־אַרְבַּעve/EL-ar/BAand on the fourפִּנּוֹתpin/NOTcorners ofהָעֲזָרָהha/a/za/RAthe ledgeוְאֶל־הַגְּבוּלve/EL-hag/ge/VULand on the borderסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundוְחִטֵּאתָve/chit/te/TAthus you shall cleanseאוֹתוֹo/TOitוְכִפַּרְתָּהוּ׃ve/khip/par/TA/huand purge it

    And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it.

21. 21

    וְלָקַחְתָּve/la/kach/TAand you will takeאֵת־הַפָּרet-hap/PARthe bullהַחַטָּאתha/chat/TATof the sin offeringוּשְׂרָפוֹu/se/ra/FOand he shall burn itבְּמִפְקַדbe/mif/KADin the appointed place ofהַבַּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseמִחוּץmi/CHUTSoutsideלַמִּקְדָּשׁ׃lam/mik/DASHthe sanctuary

    Thou shalt take the bullock also of the sin offering, and he shall burn it in the appointed place of the house, without the sanctuary.

22. 22

    וּבַיּוֹםu/vay/YOMand in the dayהַשֵּׁנִיhash/she/NIthe secondתַּקְרִיבtak/RIVyou shall offerשְׂעִיר־עִזִּיםse/IR-iz/ZIMa male goatתָּמִיםta/MIMwithout blemishלְחַטָּאתle/chat/TATfor a sin offeringוְחִטְּאוּve/chit/te/Uand they shall cleanseאֶת־הַמִּזְבֵּחַet-ham/miz/BE/achthe altarכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasחִטְּאוּchit/te/Uthey cleansed itבַּפָּר׃bap/PARwith the bull

    And on the second day thou shalt offer a kid of the goats without blemish for a sin offering; and they shall cleanse the altar, as they did cleanse it with the bullock.

23. 23

    בְּכַלּוֹתְךָbe/khal/lot/KHAwhen you have finishedמֵחַטֵּאme/chat/TEcleansing itתַּקְרִיבtak/RIVyou shall offerפַּרpara bullבֶּן־בָּקָרben-ba/KARyoungתָּמִיםta/MIMwithout blemishוְאַיִלve/A/yiland a ramמִן־הַצֹּאןmin-hats/TSONfrom the flockתָּמִים׃ta/MIMwithout blemish

    When thou hast made an end of cleansing it, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish, and a ram out of the flock without blemish.

24. 24

    וְהִקְרַבְתָּםve/hik/rav/TAMand you shall offer themלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוְהִשְׁלִיכוּve/hish/LI/khuand shall castהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMon themמֶלַחME/lachsaltוְהֶעֱלוּve/he/e/LUand they shall offerאוֹתָםo/TAMthemעֹלָהo/LAa burnt offeringלַיהֹוָה׃la-Adonaito the LORD

    And thou shalt offer them before the LORD, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering unto the LORD.

25. 25

    שִׁבְעַתshiv/ATsevenיָמִיםya/MIMdaysתַּעֲשֶׂהta/a/SEyou shall prepareשְׂעִיר־חַטָּאתse/IR-chat/TATa goat for a sin offeringלַיּוֹםlay/YOMevery dayוּפַרu/FARand a bullבֶּן־בָּקָרben-ba/KARyoungוְאַיִלve/A/yiland a ramמִן־הַצֹּאןmin-hats/TSONfrom the flockתְּמִימִיםte/mi/MIMwithout blemishיַעֲשׂוּ׃ya/a/SUthey shall prepare

    Seven days shalt thou prepare every day a goat for a sin offering: they shall also prepare a young bullock, and a ram out of the flock, without blemish.

26. 26

    שִׁבְעַתshiv/ATsevenיָמִיםya/MIMdaysיְכַפְּרוּye/khap/pe/RUthey shall make atonement forאֶת־הַמִּזְבֵּחַet-ham/miz/BE/achthe altarוְטִהֲרוּve/ti/ha/RUand purifyאֹתוֹo/TOitוּמִלְאוּu/mil/Uand consecrateיָדָו׃ya/DAVit

    Seven days shall they purge the altar and purify it; and they shall consecrate themselves.

27. 27

    וִיכַלּוּvi/khal/LUand when they have completedאֶת־הַיָּמִיםet-hay/ya/MIMthe daysוְהָיָהve/ha/YAit shall beבַיּוֹםvay/YOMon the dayהַשְּׁמִינִיhash/she/mi/NIthe eighthוָהָלְאָהva/HAL/aand onwardיַעֲשׂוּya/a/SUshall makeהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsעַל־הַמִּזְבֵּחַal-ham/miz/BE/achon the altarאֶת־עוֹלוֹתֵיכֶםet-o/lo/te/KHEMyour burnt offeringsוְאֶת־שַׁלְמֵיכֶםve/ET-shal/me/KHEMand your peace offeringsוְרָצִאתִיve/ra/TSI/tiand I will acceptאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouנְאֻםne/UMsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe Lordיֱהֹוִה׃AdonaiGOD

    And when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall make your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, saith the Lord GOD.
