   וַיּוֹצִאֵנִיand he brought out meאֶל־הֶחָצֵרto the courtyardהַחִיצוֹנָהthe outerהַדֶּרֶךְthe wayדֶּרֶךְthe way ofהַצָּפוֹןthe northוַיְבִאֵנִיand he brought meאֶל־הַלִּשְׁכָּהto the roomאֲשֶׁרwhichנֶגֶדagainstהַגִּזְרָהthe separate placeוַאֲשֶׁר־נֶגֶדand whom againstהַבִּנְיָןthe buildingאֶל־הַצָּפוֹן׃to the north

   Then he brought me forth into the utter court, the way toward the north: and he brought me into the chamber that was over against the separate place, and which was before the building toward the north.

   אֶל־פְּנֵי־אֹרֶךְto the face of length ofאַמּוֹתcubitsהַמֵּאָהthe hundredפֶּתַחdoor ofהַצָּפוֹןthe northוְהָרֹחַבand the breadthחֲמִשִּׁיםfiftyאַמּוֹת׃cubits

   Before the length of an hundred cubits was the north door, and the breadth was fifty cubits.

   נֶגֶדagainstהָעֶשְׂרִיםthe twentyאֲשֶׁרwhichלֶחָצֵרfor the courtyardהַפְּנִימִיthe innerוְנֶגֶדand againstרִצְפָהthe pavementאֲשֶׁרwhichלֶחָצֵרfor the courtyardהַחִיצוֹנָהthe outerאַתִּיקa galleryאֶל־פְּנֵי־אַתִּיקto the face of a galleryבַּשְּׁלִשִׁים׃in the thirds

   Over against the twenty cubits which were for the inner court, and over against the pavement which was for the utter court, was gallery against gallery in three stories.

   וְלִפְנֵיand beforeהַלְּשָׁכוֹתthe store roomsמַהֲלַךְjourney ofעֶשֶׂרtenאַמּוֹתcubitsרֹחַבthe breadth ofאֶל־הַפְּנִימִיתto the innerדֶּרֶךְthe way ofאַמָּהcubitsאֶחָתoneוּפִתְחֵיהֶםand their entrancesלַצָּפוֹן׃to the north

   And before the chambers was a walk of ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors toward the north.

   וְהַלְּשָׁכוֹתand the roomsהָעֶלְיוֹנֹתthe upperקְצֻרוֹתwere shortכִּי־יוֹכְלוּbecause they consumedאַתִּיקִיםgalleriesמֵהֵנָּהof themמֵהַתַּחְתֹּנוֹתmore than the lower roomsוּמֵהַתִּכוֹנוֹתand more than the middle roomsבִּנְיָן׃building

   Now the upper chambers were shorter: for the galleries were higher than these, than the lower, and than the middlemost of the building.

   כִּיforמְשֻׁלָּשׁוֹתwere divided into three partsהֵנָּהthey areוְאֵיןand there is noלָהֶןfor themעַמּוּדִיםpillarsכְּעַמּוּדֵיlike the columns ofהַחֲצֵרוֹתthe courtsעַל־כֵּןthereforeנֶאֱצַלit was shortenedמֵהַתַּחְתּוֹנוֹתmore than the lower roomsוּמֵהַתִּיכֹנוֹתand more than the middle roomsמֵהָאָרֶץ׃from the land

   For they were in three stories, but had not pillars as the pillars of the courts: therefore the building was straitened more than the lowest and the middlemost from the ground.

   וְגָדֵרand a wallאֲשֶׁר־לַחוּץwhich to the outsideלְעֻמַּתopposite toהַלְּשָׁכוֹתthe store roomsדֶּרֶךְthe way ofהֶחָצֵרthe courtyardהַחִצוֹנָהthe outerאֶל־פְּנֵיto the face ofהַלְּשָׁכוֹתthe store roomsאׇרְכּוֹits lengthחֲמִשִּׁיםfiftyאַמָּה׃cubits

   And the wall that was without over against the chambers, toward the utter court on the forepart of the chambers, the length thereof was fifty cubits.

   כִּי־אֹרֶךְbecause length ofהַלְּשָׁכוֹתthe store roomsאֲשֶׁרwhichלֶחָצֵרfor the courtyardהַחִצוֹנָהthe outerחֲמִשִּׁיםfiftyאַמָּהcubitsוְהִנֵּהand beholdעַל־פְּנֵיupon the face ofהַהֵיכׇלthe templeמֵאָהa hundredאַמָּה׃cubits

   For the length of the chambers that were in the utter court was fifty cubits: and, lo, before the temple were an hundred cubits.

   (ומתחתהלשכות)[וּמִתַּחַתand from beneathהַלְּשָׁכוֹת]the rooms ofהָאֵלֶּהthese(המבוא)[הַמֵּבִיא]the one which bringsמֵהַקָּדִיםfrom the eastבְּבֹאוֹwhen he goes inלָהֵנָּהto themמֵהֶחָצֵרfrom the courtyardהַחִצֹנָה׃the outer

   And from under these chambers was the entry on the east side, as one goeth into them from the utter court.

    בְּרֹחַבin the breadth ofגֶּדֶרthe wall ofהֶחָצֵרthe courtyardדֶּרֶךְthe way ofהַקָּדִיםthe eastאֶל־פְּנֵיto the face ofהַגִּזְרָהthe separate placeוְאֶל־פְּנֵיand face ofהַבִּנְיָןthe buildingלְשָׁכוֹת׃rooms

    The chambers were in the thickness of the wall of the court toward the east, over against the separate place, and over against the building.

11. 11

    וְדֶרֶךְand the way ofלִפְנֵיהֶםdown before themכְּמַרְאֵהas the appearance ofהַלְּשָׁכוֹתthe store roomsאֲשֶׁרwhichדֶּרֶךְthe way ofהַצָּפוֹןthe northכְּאׇרְכָּןlike their lengthכֵּןthusרׇחְבָּןtheir breadthוְכֹלand allמוֹצָאֵיהֶןtheir exitsוּכְמִשְׁפְּטֵיהֶןand like their plansוּכְפִתְחֵיהֶן׃and like their entrances

    And the way before them was like the appearance of the chambers which were toward the north, as long as they, and as broad as they: and all their goings out were both according to their fashions, and according to their doors.

    וּכְפִתְחֵיand like the entrances ofהַלְּשָׁכוֹתthe store roomsאֲשֶׁרwhichדֶּרֶךְthe way ofהַדָּרוֹםthe southפֶּתַחdoor ofבְּרֹאשׁin the top ofדָּרֶךְa wayדֶּרֶךְthe way ofבִּפְנֵיin the presence ofהַגְּדֶרֶתthe wallהֲגִינָהcorrespondingדֶּרֶךְthe way ofהַקָּדִיםthe eastבְּבוֹאָן׃when come to them

    And according to the doors of the chambers that were toward the south was a door in the head of the way, even the way directly before the wall toward the east, as one entereth into them.

    וַיֹּאמֶרand saidאֵלַיto meלִשְׁכוֹתthe store rooms ofהַצָּפוֹןthe northלִשְׁכוֹתthe store rooms ofהַדָּרוֹםthe southאֲשֶׁרwhichאֶל־פְּנֵיto the face ofהַגִּזְרָהthe separate placeהֵנָּהthey areלִשְׁכוֹתthe store rooms ofהַקֹּדֶשׁthe sanctuaryאֲשֶׁרwhichיֹאכְלוּ־שָׁםthey shall eat thereהַכֹּהֲנִיםthe priestsאֲשֶׁר־קְרוֹבִיםwhich are nearלַיהֹוָהto the LORDקׇדְשֵׁיthe holy things ofהַקֳּדָשִׁיםthe holy thingsשָׁםthereיַנִּיחוּthey leaveקׇדְשֵׁיthe holy things ofהַקֳּדָשִׁיםthe holy thingsוְהַמִּנְחָהand the grain offeringוְהַחַטָּאתand the sin offeringוְהָאָשָׁםand the guilt offeringכִּיforהַמָּקוֹםthe placeקָדֹשׁ׃holy

    Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy.

14. 14

    בְּבֹאָםupon enteringהַכֹּהֲנִיםthe priestsוְלֹא־יֵצְאוּand not go forthמֵהַקֹּדֶשׁfrom the holy placeאֶל־הֶחָצֵרto the courtyardהַחִיצוֹנָהthe outerוְשָׁםand thereיַנִּיחוּthey leaveבִגְדֵיהֶםtheir garmentsאֲשֶׁר־יְשָׁרְתוּwhich they ministerבָהֶןin themכִּי־קֹדֶשׁbecause holyהֵנָּהthey are(ילבשו)[וְלָבְשׁוּ]and they will put onבְּגָדִיםgarmentsאֲחֵרִיםothersוְקָרְבוּand they will draw nearאֶל־אֲשֶׁרunto that whichלָעָם׃to the people

    When the priests enter therein, then shall they not go out of the holy place into the utter court, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister; for they are holy; and shall put on other garments, and shall approach to those things which are for the people.

15. 15

    וְכִלָּהand he had finishedאֶת־מִדּוֹתthe measures ofהַבַּיִתthe houseהַפְּנִימִיthe innerוְהוֹצִיאַנִיand he brought out meדֶּרֶךְthe way ofהַשַּׁעַרthe gateאֲשֶׁרwhichפָּנָיוits faceדֶּרֶךְthe way ofהַקָּדִיםthe eastוּמְדָדוֹand he measured itסָבִיבall aroundסָבִיב׃all around

    Now when he had made an end of measuring the inner house, he brought me forth toward the gate whose prospect is toward the east, and measured it round about.

16. 16

    מָדַדhas he measuredרוּחַthe side ofהַקָּדִיםthe eastבִּקְנֵהwith the reed ofהַמִּדָּהthe measurementחֲמֵשׁ־[מֵאוֹת]five hundred(אמות)קָנִיםreedsבִּקְנֵהwith the reed ofהַמִּדָּהthe measurementסָבִיב׃all around

    He measured the east side with the measuring reed, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.

17. 17

    מָדַדhas he measuredרוּחַthe side ofהַצָּפוֹןthe northחֲמֵשׁ־מֵאוֹתfive hundredקָנִיםreedsבִּקְנֵהwith the reed ofהַמִּדָּהthe measurementסָבִיב׃all around

    He measured the north side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.

18. 18

    אֵת־רוּחַthe side ofהַדָּרוֹםthe southמָדָדhe measuredחֲמֵשׁ־מֵאוֹתfive hundredקָנִיםreedsבִּקְנֵהwith the reed ofהַמִּדָּה׃the measurement

    He measured the south side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed.

19. 19

    סָבַבhe turnedאֶל־רוּחַto the side ofהַיָּםthe seaמָדַדhas he measuredחֲמֵשׁ־מֵאוֹתfive hundredקָנִיםreedsבִּקְנֵהwith the reed ofהַמִּדָּה׃the measurement

    He turned about to the west side, and measured five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.

20. 20

    לְאַרְבַּעto the fourרוּחוֹתsides ofמְדָדוֹhe measured itחוֹמָהa wallלוֹto himסָבִיבall aroundסָבִיבall aroundאֹרֶךְthe length ofחֲמֵשׁfiveמֵאוֹתhundredוְרֹחַבand the breadthחֲמֵשׁfiveמֵאוֹתhundredלְהַבְדִּילto separateבֵּיןamongהַקֹּדֶשׁthe sanctuaryלְחֹל׃and the profane

    He measured it by the four sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred broad, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.
