   וַיּוֹצִאֵנִיvay/yo/tsi/E/nithen he brought me outאֶל־הֶחָצֵרel-he/cha/TSERinto the courtהַחִיצוֹנָהha/chi/tso/NAthe outerהַדֶּרֶךְhad/DE/rekhthe wayדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardהַצָּפוֹןhats/tsa/FONthe northוַיְבִאֵנִיvay/vi/E/niand he brought meאֶל־הַלִּשְׁכָּהel-hal/lish/KAinto the chamberאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat wasנֶגֶדNE/gedoppositeהַגִּזְרָהhag/giz/RAthe separate placeוַאֲשֶׁר־נֶגֶדva/a/SHER-NE/gedand which was oppositeהַבִּנְיָןhab/bin/YANthe buildingאֶל־הַצָּפוֹן׃el-hats/tsa/FONtoward the north

   Then he brought me forth into the utter court, the way toward the north: and he brought me into the chamber that was over against the separate place, and which was before the building toward the north.

   אֶל־פְּנֵי־אֹרֶךְel-pe/NE-O/rekhbefore the length ofאַמּוֹתam/MOTcubitsהַמֵּאָהham/me/Athe hundredפֶּתַחPE/tachwas the door ofהַצָּפוֹןhats/tsa/FONthe northוְהָרֹחַבve/ha/RO/chavand the breadth wasחֲמִשִּׁיםcha/mish/SHIMfiftyאַמּוֹת׃am/MOTcubits

   Before the length of an hundred cubits was the north door, and the breadth was fifty cubits.

   Over against the twenty cubits which were for the inner court, and over against the pavement which was for the utter court, was gallery against gallery in three stories.

   וְלִפְנֵיve/lif/NEand beforeהַלְּשָׁכוֹתhal/le/sha/KHOTthe chambersמַהֲלַךְma/ha/LAKHwas a walk ofעֶשֶׂרE/sertenאַמּוֹתam/MOTcubitsרֹחַבRO/chavwideאֶל־הַפְּנִימִיתel-hap/pe/ni/MITinwardדֶּרֶךְDE/rekha way ofאַמָּהam/MAcubitאֶחָתe/CHAToneוּפִתְחֵיהֶםu/fit/che/HEMand their entrancesלַצָּפוֹן׃lats/tsa/FONtoward the north

   And before the chambers was a walk of ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors toward the north.

   וְהַלְּשָׁכוֹתve/hal/le/sha/KHOTnow the chambersהָעֶלְיוֹנֹתha/el/yo/NOTthe upperקְצֻרוֹתke/tsu/ROTwere shorterכִּי־יוֹכְלוּki-yokh/LUfor took awayאַתִּיקִיםat/ti/KIMthe galleriesמֵהֵנָּהme/HEN/nafrom themמֵהַתַּחְתֹּנוֹתme/hat/tach/to/NOTmore than the lower roomsוּמֵהַתִּכוֹנוֹתu/me/hat/ti/kho/NOTand more than the middle roomsבִּנְיָן׃bin/YANof the building

   Now the upper chambers were shorter: for the galleries were higher than these, than the lower, and than the middlemost of the building.

   כִּיkiforמְשֻׁלָּשׁוֹתme/shul/la/SHOTwere in three storiesהֵנָּהHEN/natheyוְאֵיןve/ENbut had notלָהֶןla/HENtheyעַמּוּדִיםam/mu/DIMpillarsכְּעַמּוּדֵיke/am/mu/DElike the columns ofהַחֲצֵרוֹתha/cha/tse/ROTthe courtsעַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeנֶאֱצַלne/e/TSALwas narrowedמֵהַתַּחְתּוֹנוֹתme/hat/tach/to/NOTmore than the lower roomsוּמֵהַתִּיכֹנוֹתu/me/hat/ti/kho/NOTand more than the middle roomsמֵהָאָרֶץ׃me/ha/A/retsfrom the ground

   For they were in three stories, but had not pillars as the pillars of the courts: therefore the building was straitened more than the lowest and the middlemost from the ground.

   וְגָדֵרve/ga/DERand the wallאֲשֶׁר־לַחוּץa/SHER-la/CHUTSthat was outsideלְעֻמַּתle/um/MATalongsideהַלְּשָׁכוֹתhal/le/sha/KHOTthe chambersדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardהֶחָצֵרhe/cha/TSERthe courtyardהַחִצוֹנָהha/chi/tso/NAthe outerאֶל־פְּנֵיel-pe/NEin front ofהַלְּשָׁכוֹתhal/le/sha/KHOTthe chambersאׇרְכּוֹor/KOits lengthחֲמִשִּׁיםcha/mish/SHIMfiftyאַמָּה׃am/MAcubits

   And the wall that was without over against the chambers, toward the utter court on the forepart of the chambers, the length thereof was fifty cubits.

   כִּי־אֹרֶךְki-O/rekhfor the length ofהַלְּשָׁכוֹתhal/le/sha/KHOTthe chambersאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat wereלֶחָצֵרle/cha/TSERin the courtהַחִצוֹנָהha/chi/tso/NAthe outerחֲמִשִּׁיםcha/mish/SHIMfiftyאַמָּהam/MAcubitsוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdעַל־פְּנֵיal-pe/NEbeforeהַהֵיכָלha/he/KHALthe templeמֵאָהme/Aa hundredאַמָּה׃am/MAcubits

   For the length of the chambers that were in the utter court was fifty cubits: and, lo, before the temple were an hundred cubits.

   (ומתחתהvamatachatahלשכות)lashakhavat[וּמִתַּחַתu/mit/TA/chatand from underהַלְּשָׁכוֹת]hal/le/sha/KHOTthe chambersהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/lethese(המבוא)hamavav[הַמֵּבִיא]ham/me/VIwas the entryמֵהַקָּדִיםme/hak/ka/DIMon the eastבְּבֹאוֹbe/vo/Oas one goesלָהֵנָּהla/HEN/nainto themמֵהֶחָצֵרme/he/cha/TSERfrom the courtהַחִצֹנָה׃ha/chi/tso/NAthe outer

   And from under these chambers was the entry on the east side, as one goeth into them from the utter court.

    בְּרֹחַבbe/RO/chavin the thickness ofגֶּדֶרGE/derthe wall ofהֶחָצֵרhe/cha/TSERthe courtyardדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardהַקָּדִיםhak/ka/DIMthe eastאֶל־פְּנֵיel-pe/NEoppositeהַגִּזְרָהhag/giz/RAthe separate placeוְאֶל־פְּנֵיve/EL-pe/NEand oppositeהַבִּנְיָןhab/bin/YANthe buildingלְשָׁכוֹת׃le/sha/KHOTwere chambers

    The chambers were in the thickness of the wall of the court toward the east, over against the separate place, and over against the building.

    וְדֶרֶךְve/DE/rekhand the wayלִפְנֵיהֶםlif/ne/HEMbefore them wasכְּמַרְאֵהke/mar/Eas the appearance ofהַלְּשָׁכוֹתhal/le/sha/KHOTthe chambersאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat wereדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardהַצָּפוֹןhats/tsa/FONthe northכְּאׇרְכָּןke/or/KANas long as theyכֵּןkenand asרׇחְבָּןroch/BANbroad as theyוְכֹלve/KHOLand allמוֹצָאֵיהֶןmo/tsa/e/HENtheir exitsוּכְמִשְׁפְּטֵיהֶןu/khe/mish/pe/te/HENwere according to their plansוּכְפִתְחֵיהֶן׃u/khe/fit/che/HENand like their entrances

    And the way before them was like the appearance of the chambers which were toward the north, as long as they, and as broad as they: and all their goings out were both according to their fashions, and according to their doors.

    וּכְפִתְחֵיu/khe/fit/CHEand like the entrances ofהַלְּשָׁכוֹתhal/le/sha/KHOTthe chambersאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat wereדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardהַדָּרוֹםhad/da/ROMthe southפֶּתַחPE/tachwas a doorבְּרֹאשׁbe/ROSHat the head ofדָּרֶךְDA/rekhthe wayדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhthe wayבִּפְנֵיbif/NEdirectly beforeהַגְּדֶרֶתhag/ge/DE/retthe wallהֲגִינָהha/gi/NAfittingדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardהַקָּדִיםhak/ka/DIMthe eastבְּבוֹאָן׃be/vo/ANas one enters them

    And according to the doors of the chambers that were toward the south was a door in the head of the way, even the way directly before the wall toward the east, as one entereth into them.

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meלִשְׁכוֹתlish/KHOTthe chambers ofהַצָּפוֹןhats/tsa/FONthe northלִשְׁכוֹתlish/KHOTthe chambers ofהַדָּרוֹםhad/da/ROMthe southאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich areאֶל־פְּנֵיel-pe/NEbeforeהַגִּזְרָהhag/giz/RAthe separate placeהֵנָּהHEN/nathey areלִשְׁכוֹתlish/KHOTthe chambers ofהַקֹּדֶשׁhak/KO/deshholinessאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereיֹאכְלוּ־שָׁםyo/khe/LU-shamshall eatהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsאֲשֶׁר־קְרוֹבִיםa/SHER-ke/ro/VIMwho approachלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDקׇדְשֵׁיkod/SHEthe holy things ofהַקֳּדָשִׁיםhak/ko/da/SHIMthe holy thingsשָׁםshamthereיַנִּיחוּyan/NI/chuthey shall layקׇדְשֵׁיkod/SHEthe holy things ofהַקֳּדָשִׁיםhak/ko/da/SHIMthe holy thingsוְהַמִּנְחָהve/ham/min/CHAand the grain offeringוְהַחַטָּאתve/ha/chat/TATand the sin offeringוְהָאָשָׁםve/ha/a/SHAMand the guilt offeringכִּיkiforהַמָּקוֹםham/ma/KOMthe placeקָדֹשׁ׃ka/DOSHis holy

    Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy.

    בְּבֹאָםbe/vo/AMwhen enterהַכֹּהֲנִיםhak/ko/ha/NIMthe priestsוְלֹא־יֵצְאוּve/LO-yets/Uthen they shall not go outמֵהַקֹּדֶשׁme/hak/KO/deshfrom the holy placeאֶל־הֶחָצֵרel-he/cha/TSERinto the courtהַחִיצוֹנָהha/chi/tso/NAthe outerוְשָׁםve/SHAMbut thereיַנִּיחוּyan/NI/chuthey shall layבִגְדֵיהֶםvig/de/HEMtheir garmentsאֲשֶׁר־יְשָׁרְתוּa/SHER-ye/sha/re/TUwhich they ministerבָהֶןva/HENin themכִּי־קֹדֶשׁki-KO/deshfor holyהֵנָּהHEN/nathey are(ילבשו)yalavashav[וְלָבְשׁוּ]ve/la/ve/SHUand they shall put onבְּגָדִיםbe/ga/DIMgarmentsאֲחֵרִיםa/che/RIMotherוְקָרְבוּve/ka/re/VUand shall approachאֶל־אֲשֶׁרel-a/SHERthat which isלָעָם׃la/AMfor the people

    When the priests enter therein, then shall they not go out of the holy place into the utter court, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister; for they are holy; and shall put on other garments, and shall approach to those things which are for the people.

15. 15

    וְכִלָּהve/khil/LAnow when he had finishedאֶת־מִדּוֹתet-mid/DOTmeasuringהַבַּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseהַפְּנִימִיhap/pe/ni/MIthe innerוְהוֹצִיאַנִיve/ho/tsi/A/nihe brought me outדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhby the way ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoseפָּנָיוpa/NAYVface isדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardהַקָּדִיםhak/ka/DIMthe eastוּמְדָדוֹu/me/da/DOand measured itסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundסָבִיב׃sa/VIVall around

    Now when he had made an end of measuring the inner house, he brought me forth toward the gate whose prospect is toward the east, and measured it round about.

16. 16

    מָדַדma/DADhe measuredרוּחַRU/achthe side ofהַקָּדִיםhak/ka/DIMthe eastבִּקְנֵהbik/NEwith the reed ofהַמִּדָּהham/mid/DAmeasuringחֲמֵשׁ־[מֵאוֹת]cha/MESH-me/OTfive hundred(אמות)mavatקָנִיםka/NIMreedsבִּקְנֵהbik/NEwith the reed ofהַמִּדָּהham/mid/DAmeasuringסָבִיב׃sa/VIVall around

    He measured the east side with the measuring reed, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.

    מָדַדma/DADhe measuredרוּחַRU/achthe side ofהַצָּפוֹןhats/tsa/FONthe northחֲמֵשׁ־מֵאוֹתcha/MESH-me/OTfive hundredקָנִיםka/NIMreedsבִּקְנֵהbik/NEwith the reed ofהַמִּדָּהham/mid/DAmeasuringסָבִיב׃sa/VIVall around

    He measured the north side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.

18. 18

    אֵת־רוּחַet-RU/achthe side ofהַדָּרוֹםhad/da/ROMthe southמָדָדma/DADhe measuredחֲמֵשׁ־מֵאוֹתcha/MESH-me/OTfive hundredקָנִיםka/NIMreedsבִּקְנֵהbik/NEwith the reed ofהַמִּדָּה׃ham/mid/DAmeasuring

    He measured the south side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed.

19. 19

    סָבַבsa/VAVhe turnedאֶל־רוּחַel-RU/achto the side ofהַיָּםhay/YAMthe westמָדַדma/DADand measuredחֲמֵשׁ־מֵאוֹתcha/MESH-me/OTfive hundredקָנִיםka/NIMreedsבִּקְנֵהbik/NEwith the reed ofהַמִּדָּה׃ham/mid/DAmeasuring

    He turned about to the west side, and measured five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.

    לְאַרְבַּעle/ar/BAon the fourרוּחוֹתru/CHOTsidesמְדָדוֹme/da/DOhe measured itחוֹמָהcho/MAa wallלוֹloit hadסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundאֹרֶךְO/rekhlongחֲמֵשׁcha/MESHfiveמֵאוֹתme/OThundredוְרֹחַבve/RO/chavand broadחֲמֵשׁcha/MESHfiveמֵאוֹתme/OThundredלְהַבְדִּילle/hav/DILto separateבֵּיןbenbetweenהַקֹּדֶשׁhak/KO/deshthe holyלְחֹל׃le/CHOLand the common

    He measured it by the four sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred broad, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.
