   In the five and twentieth year of our captivity, in the beginning of the year, in the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after that the city was smitten, in the selfsame day the hand of the LORD was upon me, and brought me thither.

   In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city on the south.

   וַיָּבֵיאvay/ya/VEand he broughtאוֹתִיo/TImeשָׁמָּהSHAM/mathereוְהִנֵּה־אִישׁve/hin/NE-ishand behold a manמַרְאֵהוּmar/E/huwhose appearance wasכְּמַרְאֵהke/mar/Eas the appearance ofנְחֹשֶׁתne/CHO/shetbronzeוּפְתִיל־פִּשְׁתִּיםu/fe/TIL-pish/TIMand a cord of flaxבְּיָדוֹbe/ya/DOin his handוּקְנֵהu/ke/NEand a reed ofהַמִּדָּהham/mid/DAmeasuringוְהוּאve/HUand heעֹמֵדo/MEDstoodבַּשָּׁעַר׃bash/SHA/arin the gate

   And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate.

   And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel.

   And behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man's hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed.

   Then came he unto the gate which looketh toward the east, and went up the stairs thereof, and measured the threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad; and the other threshold of the gate, which was one reed broad.

   And every little chamber was one reed long, and one reed broad; and between the little chambers were five cubits; and the threshold of the gate by the porch of the gate within was one reed.

   וַיָּמׇדvay/YA/modhe measured alsoאֶת־אֻלָםet-u/LAMthe porch ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateמֵהַבַּיִתme/hab/BA/yitinwardקָנֶהka/NEa reedאֶחָד׃e/CHADone

   He measured also the porch of the gate within, one reed.

   וַיָּמׇדvay/YA/modthen he measuredאֶת־אֻלָםet-u/LAMthe porch ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateשְׁמֹנֶהshe/mo/NEeightאַמּוֹתam/MOTcubitsוְאֵילָוve/e/LAVand its postsשְׁתַּיִםSHTA/yimtwoאַמּוֹתam/MOTcubitsוְאֻלָםve/u/LAMand the porch ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateמֵהַבָּיִת׃me/hab/BA/yitwas inward

   Then measured he the porch of the gate, eight cubits; and the posts thereof, two cubits; and the porch of the gate was inward.

    וְתָאֵיve/ta/Eand the chambers ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardהַקָּדִיםhak/ka/DIMthe eastשְׁלֹשָׁהshe/lo/SHAthreeמִפֹּהmip/POon this sideוּשְׁלֹשָׁהu/she/lo/SHAand threeמִפֹּהmip/POon that sideמִדָּהmid/DAmeasureאַחַתa/CHAToneלִשְׁלׇשְׁתָּםlish/losh/TAMthe three hadוּמִדָּהu/mid/DAand measureאַחַתa/CHAToneלָאֵילִםla/e/LIMthe posts hadמִפֹּהmip/POon this sideוּמִפּוֹ׃u/mip/POand on that side

    And the little chambers of the gate eastward were three on this side, and three on that side; they three were of one measure: and the posts had one measure on this side and on that side.

    וַיָּמׇדvay/YA/modand he measuredאֶת־רֹחַבet-RO/chavthe breadth ofפֶּתַח־הַשַּׁעַרPE/tach-hash/SHA/arthe entrance of the gateעֶשֶׂרE/sertenאַמּוֹתam/MOTcubitsאֹרֶךְO/rekhthe length ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateשְׁלוֹשׁ־עֶשְׂרֵהshe/LOSH-es/REthirteenאַמּוֹת׃am/MOTcubits

    And he measured the breadth of the entry of the gate, ten cubits; and the length of the gate, thirteen cubits.

    וּגְבוּלu/ge/VULand the borderלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהַתָּאוֹתhat/ta/OTthe chambersאַמָּהam/MAcubitאֶחָתe/CHAToneוְאַמָּה־אַחַתve/am/MA-a/CHATand one cubitגְּבוּלge/VULborderמִפֹּהmip/POon that sideוְהַתָּאve/hat/TAand the chambers wereשֵׁשׁ־אַמּוֹתshesh-am/MOTsix cubitsמִפּוֹmip/POon this sideוְשֵׁשׁve/SHESHand sixאַמּוֹתam/MOTcubitsמִפּוֹ׃mip/POon that side

    The space also before the little chambers was one cubit on this side, and the space was one cubit on that side: and the little chambers were six cubits on this side, and six cubits on that side.

    וַיָּמׇדvay/YA/modhe measured thenאֶת־הַשַּׁעַרet-hash/SHA/arthe gateמִגַּגmig/GAGfrom the roof ofהַתָּאhat/TAthe chamberלְגַגּוֹle/gag/GOto its roofרֹחַבRO/chavthe breadth ofעֶשְׂרִיםes/RIMtwentyוְחָמֵשׁve/cha/MESHand fiveאַמּוֹתam/MOTcubitsפֶּתַחPE/tachdoorנֶגֶדNE/gedagainstפָּתַח׃pa/TACHdoor

    He measured then the gate from the roof of one little chamber to the roof of another: the breadth was five and twenty cubits, door against door.

    וַיַּעַשׂvay/YA/ashe made alsoאֶת־אֵילִיםet-e/LIMthe postsשִׁשִּׁיםshish/SHIMsixtyאַמָּהam/MAcubitsוְאֶל־אֵילve/EL-eleven to the post ofהֶחָצֵרhe/cha/TSERthe courtהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundסָבִיב׃sa/VIVall around

    He made also posts of threescore cubits, even unto the post of the court round about the gate.

15. 15

    וְעַלve/ALand fromפְּנֵיpe/NEthe face ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gate[הָאִיתוֹן]ha/i/TONthe entranceעַל־לִפְנֵיal-lif/NEto the face ofאֻלָםu/LAMthe porch ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateהַפְּנִימִיhap/pe/ni/MIthe innerחֲמִשִּׁיםcha/mish/SHIMfiftyאַמָּה׃am/MAcubits

    And from the face of the gate of the entrance unto the face of the porch of the inner gate were fifty cubits.

    וְחַלּוֹנוֹתve/chal/lo/NOTand windowsאֲטֻמוֹתa/tu/MOTclosedאֶל־הַתָּאִיםel-hat/ta/IMin the chambersוְאֶלve/ELand inאֵלֵיהֵמָהe/le/HE/matheir postsלִפְנִימָהlif/NI/mawithinלַשַּׁעַרlash/SHA/arthe gateסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundוְכֵןve/KHENand likewiseלָאֵלַמּוֹתla/e/lam/MOTin the porchesוְחַלּוֹנוֹתve/chal/lo/NOTand windowsסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundלִפְנִימָהlif/NI/mawithinוְאֶל־אַיִלve/EL-A/yiland on each post wereתִּמֹרִים׃ti/mo/RIMpalm trees

    And there were narrow windows to the little chambers, and to their posts within the gate round about, and likewise to the arches: and windows were round about inward: and upon each post were palm trees.

    וַיְבִיאֵנִיvay/vi/E/nithen he brought meאֶל־הֶחָצֵרel-he/cha/TSERinto the courtהַחִיצוֹנָהha/chi/tso/NAthe outerוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdלְשָׁכוֹתle/sha/KHOTchambersוְרִצְפָהve/rits/FAand a pavementעָשׂוּיa/SUYmadeלֶחָצֵרle/cha/TSERfor the courtסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundשְׁלֹשִׁיםshe/lo/SHIMthirtyלְשָׁכוֹתle/sha/KHOTchambersאֶל־הָרִצְפָה׃el-ha/rits/FAon the pavement

    Then brought he me into the outward court, and, lo, there were chambers, and a pavement made for the court round about: thirty chambers were upon the pavement.

18. 18

    וְהָרִצְפָהve/ha/rits/FAand the pavementאֶל־כֶּתֶףel-KE/tefby the side ofהַשְּׁעָרִיםhash/she/a/RIMthe gatesלְעֻמַּתle/um/MATcorresponding toאֹרֶךְO/rekhthe length ofהַשְּׁעָרִיםhash/she/a/RIMthe gatesהָרִצְפָהha/rits/FAthe pavementהַתַּחְתּוֹנָה׃hat/tach/TO/nalower

    And the pavement by the side of the gates over against the length of the gates was the lower pavement.

    וַיָּמׇדvay/YA/modthen he measuredרֹחַבRO/chavthe breadthמִלִּפְנֵיmil/lif/NEfrom the front ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateהַתַּחְתּוֹנָהhat/tach/TO/nalowerלִפְנֵיlif/NEto the front ofהֶחָצֵרhe/cha/TSERthe courtהַפְּנִימִיhap/pe/ni/MIthe innerמִחוּץmi/CHUTSoutsideמֵאָהme/Aa hundredאַמָּהam/MAcubitsהַקָּדִיםhak/ka/DIMeastwardוְהַצָּפוֹן׃ve/hats/tsa/FONand northward

    Then he measured the breadth from the forefront of the lower gate unto the forefront of the inner court without, an hundred cubits eastward and northward.

    וְהַשַּׁעַרve/hash/SHA/arand the gateאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatפָּנָיוpa/NAYVfacedדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardהַצָּפוֹןhats/tsa/FONthe northלֶחָצֵרle/cha/TSERof the courtהַחִיצוֹנָהha/chi/tso/NAthe outerמָדַדma/DADhe measuredאׇרְכּוֹor/KOits lengthוְרׇחְבּוֹ׃ve/roch/BOand its breadth

    And the gate of the outward court that looked toward the north, he measured the length thereof, and the breadth thereof.

    וְתָאָוve/ta/AVand its chambersשְׁלוֹשָׁהshe/lo/SHAthreeמִפּוֹmip/POon this sideוּשְׁלֹשָׁהu/she/lo/SHAand threeמִפּוֹmip/POon that sideוְאֵילָוve/e/LAVand its postsוְאֵלַמָּוve/e/lam/MAVand its porchesהָיָהha/YAwereכְּמִדַּתke/mid/DATafter the measure ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateהָרִאשׁוֹןha/ri/SHONthe firstחֲמִשִּׁיםcha/mish/SHIMfiftyאַמָּהam/MAcubitsאׇרְכּוֹor/KOits lengthוְרֹחַבve/RO/chavand the breadthחָמֵשׁcha/MESHfiveוְעֶשְׂרִיםve/es/RIMand twentyבָּאַמָּה׃ba/am/MAcubits

    And the little chambers thereof were three on this side and three on that side; and the posts thereof and the arches thereof were after the measure of the first gate: the length thereof was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits.

    וְחַלּוֹנָוve/chal/lo/NAVand their windowsוְאֵילַמָּוve/e/lam/MAVand their porchesוְתִימֹרָוve/ti/mo/RAVand their palm treesכְּמִדַּתke/mid/DATwere after the measure ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatפָּנָיוpa/NAYVfacesדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardהַקָּדִיםhak/ka/DIMthe eastוּבְמַעֲלוֹתu/ve/ma/a/LOTand by stepsשֶׁבַעSHE/vasevenיַעֲלוּ־בוֹya/a/LU-vothey went up to itוְאֵילַמָּוve/e/lam/MAVand its porches wereלִפְנֵיהֶם׃lif/ne/HEMbefore them

    And their windows, and their arches, and their palm trees, were after the measure of the gate that looketh toward the east; and they went up unto it by seven steps; and the arches thereof were before them.

    וְשַׁעַרve/SHA/arand the gate ofלֶחָצֵרle/cha/TSERthe courtהַפְּנִימִיhap/pe/ni/MIthe innerנֶגֶדNE/gedwas oppositeהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateלַצָּפוֹןlats/tsa/FONtoward the northוְלַקָּדִיםve/lak/ka/DIMand toward the eastוַיָּמׇדvay/YA/modand he measuredמִשַּׁעַרmish/SHA/arfrom gateאֶל־שַׁעַרel-SHA/arto gateמֵאָהme/Aa hundredאַמָּה׃am/MAcubits

    And the gate of the inner court was over against the gate toward the north, and toward the east; and he measured from gate to gate an hundred cubits.

    וַיּוֹלִכֵנִיvay/yo/li/KHE/niafter that he brought meדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardהַדָּרוֹםhad/da/ROMthe southוְהִנֵּה־שַׁעַרve/hin/NE-SHA/arand behold a gateדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardהַדָּרוֹםhad/da/ROMthe southוּמָדַדu/ma/DADand he measuredאֵילָוe/LAVits postsוְאֵילַמָּוve/e/lam/MAVand its porchesכַּמִּדּוֹתkam/mid/DOTaccording to measuresהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/EL/lethese

    After that he brought me toward the south, and behold a gate toward the south: and he measured the posts thereof and the arches thereof according to these measures.

    וְחַלּוֹנִיםve/chal/lo/NIMand windowsלוֹloin itוּלְאֵילַמָּוu/le/e/lam/MAVand in its porchesסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundכְּהַחַלֹּנוֹתke/ha/chal/lo/NOTas the windowsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseחֲמִשִּׁיםcha/mish/SHIMfiftyאַמָּהam/MAcubitsאֹרֶךְO/rekhthe length ofוְרֹחַבve/RO/chavand the breadthחָמֵשׁcha/MESHfiveוְעֶשְׂרִיםve/es/RIMand twentyאַמָּה׃am/MAcubits

    And there were windows in it and in the arches thereof round about, like those windows: the length was fifty cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits.

    וּמַעֲלוֹתu/ma/a/LOTand there were stepsשִׁבְעָהshiv/Asevenעֹלוֹתָוo/lo/TAVto go up to itוְאֵלַמָּוve/e/lam/MAVand its porches wereלִפְנֵיהֶםlif/ne/HEMbefore themוְתִמֹרִיםve/ti/mo/RIMand palm treesלוֹloit hadאֶחָדe/CHADoneמִפּוֹmip/POon this sideוְאֶחָדve/e/CHADand oneמִפּוֹmip/POon that sideאֶל־אֵילָו׃el-e/LAVon its posts

    And there were seven steps to go up to it, and the arches thereof were before them: and it had palm trees, one on this side, and another on that side, upon the posts thereof.

    וְשַׁעַרve/SHA/arand there was a gateלֶחָצֵרle/cha/TSERin the courtהַפְּנִימִיhap/pe/ni/MIthe innerדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardהַדָּרוֹםhad/da/ROMthe southוַיָּמׇדvay/YA/modand he measuredמִשַּׁעַרmish/SHA/arfrom gateאֶל־הַשַּׁעַרel-hash/SHA/arto gateדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardהַדָּרוֹםhad/da/ROMthe southמֵאָהme/Aa hundredאַמּוֹת׃am/MOTcubits

    And there was a gate in the inner court toward the south: and he measured from gate to gate toward the south an hundred cubits.

    וַיְבִיאֵנִיvay/vi/E/niand he brought meאֶל־חָצֵרel-cha/TSERto the courtהַפְּנִימִיhap/pe/ni/MIthe innerבְּשַׁעַרbe/SHA/arby the gate ofהַדָּרוֹםhad/da/ROMthe southוַיָּמׇדvay/YA/modand he measuredאֶת־הַשַּׁעַרet-hash/SHA/arthe gateהַדָּרוֹםhad/da/ROMsouthכַּמִּדּוֹתkam/mid/DOTaccording to measuresהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/EL/lethese

    And he brought me to the inner court by the south gate: and he measured the south gate according to these measures;

    And the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, according to these measures: and there were windows in it and in the arches thereof round about: it was fifty cubits long, and five and twenty cubits broad.

    And the arches round about were five and twenty cubits long, and five cubits broad.

    And the arches thereof were toward the utter court; and palm trees were upon the posts thereof: and the going up to it had eight steps.

32. 32

    וַיְבִיאֵנִיvay/vi/E/niand he brought meאֶל־הֶחָצֵרel-he/cha/TSERinto the courtהַפְּנִימִיhap/pe/ni/MIthe innerדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardהַקָּדִיםhak/ka/DIMthe eastוַיָּמׇדvay/YA/modand he measuredאֶת־הַשַּׁעַרet-hash/SHA/arthe gateכַּמִּדּוֹתkam/mid/DOTaccording to measuresהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/EL/lethese

    And he brought me into the inner court toward the east: and he measured the gate according to these measures.

33. 33

    And the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches thereof, were according to these measures: and there were windows therein and in the arches thereof round about: it was fifty cubits long, and five and twenty cubits broad.

    וַיְבִיאֵנִיvay/vi/E/niand he brought meאֶל־שַׁעַרel-SHA/arto the gate ofהַצָּפוֹןhats/tsa/FONthe northוּמָדַדu/ma/DADand measured itכַּמִּדּוֹתkam/mid/DOTaccording to measuresהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/EL/lethese

    And he brought me to the north gate, and measured it according to these measures;

36. 36

    וְלִשְׁכָּהve/lish/KAand a chamberוּפִתְחָהּu/fit/CHAwith its entranceבְּאֵילִיםbe/e/LIMby the posts ofהַשְּׁעָרִיםhash/she/a/RIMthe gatesשָׁםshamthereיָדִיחוּya/DI/chuthey washedאֶת־הָעֹלָה׃et-ha/o/LAthe burnt offering

    And the chambers and the entries thereof were by the posts of the gates, where they washed the burnt offering.

39. 39

    וּבְאֻלָםu/ve/u/LAMand in the porch ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateשְׁנַיִםshe/NA/yimtwoשֻׁלְחָנוֹתshul/cha/NOTtablesמִפּוֹmip/POon this sideוּשְׁנַיִםu/she/NA/yimand twoשֻׁלְחָנוֹתshul/cha/NOTtablesמִפֹּהmip/POon that sideלִשְׁחוֹטlish/CHOTto slayאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMon themהָעוֹלָהha/o/LAthe burnt offeringוְהַחַטָּאתve/ha/chat/TATand the sin offeringוְהָאָשָׁם׃ve/ha/a/SHAMand the guilt offering

    And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two tables on that side, to slay thereon the burnt offering and the sin offering and the trespass offering.

40. 40

    וְאֶל־הַכָּתֵףve/EL-hak/ka/TEFand at the sideמִחוּצָהmi/CHU/tsaoutsideלָעוֹלֶהla/o/LEas one goes upלְפֶתַחle/FE/tachto the entrance ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateהַצָּפוֹנָהhats/tsa/FO/nanorthwardשְׁנַיִםshe/NA/yimtwoשֻׁלְחָנוֹתshul/cha/NOTtablesוְאֶל־הַכָּתֵףve/EL-hak/ka/TEFand on the sideהָאַחֶרֶתha/a/CHE/retotherאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich belongedלְאֻלָםle/u/LAMto the porch ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateשְׁנַיִםshe/NA/yimtwoשֻׁלְחָנוֹת׃shul/cha/NOTtables

    And at the side without, as one goeth up to the entry of the north gate, were two tables; and on the other side, which was at the porch of the gate, were two tables.

41. 41

    אַרְבָּעָהar/ba/Afourשֻׁלְחָנוֹתshul/cha/NOTtablesמִפֹּהmip/POon this sideוְאַרְבָּעָהve/ar/ba/Aand fourשֻׁלְחָנוֹתshul/cha/NOTtablesמִפֹּהmip/POon that sideלְכֶתֶףle/KHE/tefby the side ofהַשָּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateשְׁמוֹנָהshe/mo/NAeightשֻׁלְחָנוֹתshul/cha/NOTtablesאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMon whichיִשְׁחָטוּ׃yish/CHA/tuthey slew

    Four tables were on this side, and four tables on that side, by the side of the gate; eight tables, whereupon they slew their sacrifices.

    And the four tables were of hewn stone for the burnt offering, of a cubit and an half long, and a cubit and an half broad, and one cubit high: whereupon also they laid the instruments wherewith they slew the burnt offering and the sacrifice.

43. 43

    And within were hooks, an hand broad, fastened round about: and upon the tables was the flesh of the offering.

44. 44

    וּמִחוּצָהu/mi/CHU/tsaand outsideלַשַּׁעַרlash/SHA/arthe gateהַפְּנִימִיhap/pe/ni/MIthe innerלִשְׁכוֹתlish/KHOTwere the chambers ofשָׁרִיםsha/RIMthe singersבֶּחָצֵרbe/cha/TSERin the courtהַפְּנִימִיhap/pe/ni/MIthe innerאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich wasאֶל־כֶּתֶףel-KE/tefat the side ofשַׁעַרSHA/arthe gate ofהַצָּפוֹןhats/tsa/FONthe northוּפְנֵיהֶםu/fe/ne/HEMand their faces wereדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardהַדָּרוֹםhad/da/ROMthe southאֶחָדe/CHADoneאֶל־כֶּתֶףel-KE/tefat the side ofשַׁעַרSHA/arthe gate ofהַקָּדִיםhak/ka/DIMthe eastפְּנֵיpe/NEfacingדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardהַצָּפֹן׃hats/tsa/FONthe north

    And without the inner gate were the chambers of the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate; and their prospect was toward the south: one at the side of the east gate having the prospect toward the north.

45. 45

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeאֵלָיe/LAYto meזֹהzothisהַלִּשְׁכָּהhal/lish/KAchamberאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoseפָּנֶיהָpa/NE/haface isדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardהַדָּרוֹםhad/da/ROMthe southלַכֹּהֲנִיםlak/ko/ha/NIMis for the priestsשֹׁמְרֵיshom/REthe keepers ofמִשְׁמֶרֶתmish/ME/retthe charge ofהַבָּיִת׃hab/BA/yitthe house

    And he said unto me, This chamber, whose prospect is toward the south, is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the house.

46. 46

    וְהַלִּשְׁכָּהve/hal/lish/KAand the chamberאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoseפָּנֶיהָpa/NE/haface isדֶּרֶךְDE/rekhtowardהַצָּפוֹןhats/tsa/FONthe northלַכֹּהֲנִיםlak/ko/ha/NIMis for the priestsשֹׁמְרֵיshom/REthe keepers ofמִשְׁמֶרֶתmish/ME/retthe charge ofהַמִּזְבֵּחַham/miz/BE/achthe altarהֵמָּהHEM/mathese areבְנֵי־צָדוֹקve/NE-tsa/DOKthe sons of Zadokהַקְּרֵבִיםhak/ke/re/VIMwho come nearמִבְּנֵי־לֵוִיmib/Be/NE-le/VIof the sons of Leviאֶל־יְהֹוָהel-Adonaito the LORDלְשׇׁרְתוֹ׃le/shor/TOto minister to Him

    And the chamber whose prospect is toward the north is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi, which come near to the LORD to minister unto him.

47. 47

    וַיָּמׇדvay/YA/modso he measuredאֶת־הֶחָצֵרet-he/cha/TSERthe courtאֹרֶךְO/rekhlongמֵאָהme/Aa hundredאַמָּהam/MAcubitsוְרֹחַבve/RO/chavand broadמֵאָהme/Aa hundredאַמָּהam/MAcubitsמְרֻבָּעַתme/rub/BA/atsquareוְהַמִּזְבֵּחַve/ham/miz/BE/achand the altar wasלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהַבָּיִת׃hab/BA/yitthe house

    So he measured the court, an hundred cubits long, and an hundred cubits broad, foursquare; and the altar that was before the house.

48. 48

    וַיְבִאֵנִיvay/vi/E/niand he brought meאֶל־אֻלָםel-u/LAMto the porch ofהַבַּיִתhab/BA/yitthe houseוַיָּמׇדvay/YA/modand measuredאֵלeleach post ofאֻלָםu/LAMthe porch ofחָמֵשׁcha/MESHfiveאַמּוֹתam/MOTcubitsמִפֹּהmip/POon this sideוְחָמֵשׁve/cha/MESHand fiveאַמּוֹתam/MOTcubitsמִפֹּהmip/POon that sideוְרֹחַבve/RO/chavand the breadth ofהַשַּׁעַרhash/SHA/arthe gateשָׁלֹשׁsha/LOSHthreeאַמּוֹתam/MOTcubitsמִפּוֹmip/POon this sideוְשָׁלֹשׁve/sha/LOSHand threeאַמּוֹתam/MOTcubitsמִפּוֹ׃mip/POon that side

    And he brought me to the porch of the house, and measured each post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side: and the breadth of the gate was three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side.

49. 49

    The length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits; and he brought me by the steps whereby they went up to it: and there were pillars by the posts, one on this side, and another on that side.
