Ezekiel 4 יְחֶזְקֵאל פרק ד׳

   וְאַתָּהve/at/TAand youבֶן־אָדָםven-a/DAMson of manקַח־לְךָkach-le/KHAtake for yourselfלְבֵנָהle/ve/NAa brickוְנָתַתָּהve/na/tat/TAand setאוֹתָהּo/TAitלְפָנֶיךָle/fa/NE/khabefore youוְחַקּוֹתָve/chak/ko/TAand portrayעָלֶיהָa/LE/haon itעִירira cityאֶת־יְרוּשָׁלָ͏ִם׃et-Ye/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalem

   Thou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and pourtray upon it the city, even Jerusalem:

   וְנָתַתָּהve/na/tat/TAand layעָלֶיהָa/LE/haagainst itמָצוֹרma/TSORa siegeוּבָנִיתָu/va/NI/taand buildעָלֶיהָa/LE/haagainst itדָּיֵקda/YEKa siege wallוְשָׁפַכְתָּve/sha/fakh/TAand cast upעָלֶיהָa/LE/haagainst itסֹלְלָהsol/LAa moundוְנָתַתָּהve/na/tat/TAand setעָלֶיהָa/LE/haagainst itמַחֲנוֹתma/cha/NOTcampsוְשִׂים־עָלֶיהָve/SIM-a/LE/haand set against itכָּרִיםka/RIMbattering ramsסָבִיב׃sa/VIVall around

   And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it round about.

   וְאַתָּהve/at/TAand youקַח־לְךָkach-le/KHAtake for yourselfמַחֲבַתma/cha/VATa griddleבַּרְזֶלbar/ZELironוְנָתַתָּהve/na/tat/TAand setאוֹתָהּo/TAitקִירkiras a wall ofבַּרְזֶלbar/ZELironבֵּינְךָbe/ne/KHAbetween youוּבֵיןu/VENand betweenהָעִירha/IRthe cityוַהֲכִינֹתָהva/ha/khi/no/TAand setאֶת־פָּנֶיךָet-pa/NE/khayour faceאֵלֶיהָe/LE/hatoward itוְהָיְתָהve/ha/ye/TAand it shall beבַמָּצוֹרvam/ma/TSORunder siegeוְצַרְתָּve/tsar/TAand you shall besiegeעָלֶיהָa/LE/haitאוֹתota signהִיאhithis isלְבֵיתle/VETto the house ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

   Moreover take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.

   וְאַתָּהve/at/TAand youשְׁכַבshe/KHAVlieעַל־צִדְּךָal-tsid/de/KHAon your sideהַשְּׂמָאלִיhas/se/ma/LIthe leftוְשַׂמְתָּve/sam/TAand layאֶת־עֲוֺןet-a/VONthe iniquity ofבֵּית־יִשְׂרָאֵלbet-Yis/ra/ELthe house of Israelעָלָיוa/LAYVon itמִסְפַּרmis/PARthe number ofהַיָּמִיםhay/ya/MIMthe daysאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatתִּשְׁכַּבtish/KAVyou shall lieעָלָיוa/LAYVon itתִּשָּׂאtis/SAyou shall bearאֶת־עֲוֺנָם׃et-a/vo/NAMtheir iniquity

   Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.

   וַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tihave laidלְךָle/KHAon youאֶת־שְׁנֵיet-she/NEthe years ofעֲוֺנָםa/vo/NAMtheir iniquityלְמִסְפַּרle/mis/PARto the number ofיָמִיםya/MIMdaysשְׁלֹשׁ־מֵאוֹתshe/LOSH-me/OTthree hundredוְתִשְׁעִיםve/tish/IMand ninetyיוֹםyomdaysוְנָשָׂאתָve/na/SA/taso you shall bearעֲוֺןa/VONthe iniquity ofבֵּית־יִשְׂרָאֵל׃bet-Yis/ra/ELthe house of Israel

   For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.

6. 6

   וְכִלִּיתָve/khil/li/TAand when you have completedאֶת־אֵלֶּהet-EL/letheseוְשָׁכַבְתָּve/sha/khav/TAyou shall lieעַל־צִדְּךָal-tsid/de/KHAon your side(הימיני)hayamayanay[הַיְמָנִי]hay/ma/NIthe rightשֵׁנִיתshe/NITagainוְנָשָׂאתָve/na/SA/taand you shall bearאֶת־עֲוֺןet-a/VONthe iniquity ofבֵּית־יְהוּדָהbet-Ye/hu/DAthe house of Judahאַרְבָּעִיםar/ba/IMfortyיוֹםyomdaysיוֹםyoma dayלַשָּׁנָהlash/sha/NAfor a yearיוֹםyoma dayלַשָּׁנָהlash/sha/NAfor a yearנְתַתִּיוne/tat/TIVI have assigned itלָךְ׃lakhto you

   And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.

   וְאֶל־מְצוֹרve/EL-me/TSORand toward the siege ofיְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalemתָּכִיןta/KHINyou shall setפָּנֶיךָpa/NE/khayour faceוּזְרֹעֲךָu/ze/ro/a/KHAwith your armחֲשׂוּפָהcha/su/FAbaredוְנִבֵּאתָve/nib/be/TAand you shall prophesyעָלֶיהָ׃a/LE/haagainst it

   Therefore thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thine arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it.

   וְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tiI will putעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaon youעֲבוֹתִיםa/vo/TIMropesוְלֹא־תֵהָפֵךְve/LO-te/ha/FEKHand you shall not turnמִצִּדְּךָmits/tsid/de/KHAfrom your sideאֶל־צִדֶּךָel-tsid/DE/khato your sideעַד־כַּלּוֹתְךָad-kal/lot/KHAuntil you have completedיְמֵיye/MEthe days ofמְצוּרֶךָ׃me/tsu/RE/khayour siege

   And, behold, I will lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou hast ended the days of thy siege.

   וְאַתָּהve/at/TAand youקַח־לְךָkach-le/KHAtake for yourselfחִטִּיןchit/TINwheatוּשְׂעֹרִיםu/se/o/RIMand barleyוּפוֹלu/FOLand beansוַעֲדָשִׁיםva/a/da/SHIMand lentilsוְדֹחַןve/DO/chanand milletוְכֻסְּמִיםve/khus/se/MIMand speltוְנָתַתָּהve/na/tat/TAand putאוֹתָםo/TAMthemבִּכְלִיbikh/LIin a vesselאֶחָדe/CHADoneוְעָשִׂיתָve/a/SI/taand makeאוֹתָםo/TAMthemלְךָle/KHAfor yourselfלְלָחֶםle/LA/cheminto breadמִסְפַּרmis/PARaccording to the number ofהַיָּמִיםhay/ya/MIMthe daysאֲשֶׁר־אַתָּהa/SHER-at/TAwhich youשׁוֹכֵבsho/KHEVlieעַל־צִדְּךָal-tsid/de/KHAon your sideשְׁלֹשׁ־מֵאוֹתshe/LOSH-me/OTthree hundredוְתִשְׁעִיםve/tish/IMand ninetyיוֹםyomdaysתֹּאכְלֶנּוּ׃to/khe/LEN/nuyou shall eat it

   Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat thereof.

    וּמַאֲכָלְךָu/ma/a/kha/le/KHAand your foodאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichתֹּאכְלֶנּוּto/khe/LEN/nuyou shall eatבְּמִשְׁקוֹלbe/mish/KOLby weightעֶשְׂרִיםes/RIMtwentyשֶׁקֶלSHE/kelshekelsלַיּוֹםlay/YOMa dayמֵעֵתme/ETfrom timeעַד־עֵתad-etto timeתֹּאכְלֶנּוּ׃to/khe/LEN/nuyou shall eat it

    And thy meat which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat it.

11. 11

    וּמַיִםu/MA/yimand waterבִּמְשׂוּרָהbim/su/RAby measureתִשְׁתֶּהtish/TEyou shall drinkשִׁשִּׁיתshish/SHITa sixth ofהַהִיןha/HINa hinמֵעֵתme/ETfrom timeעַד־עֵתad-etto timeתִּשְׁתֶּה׃tish/TEyou shall drink

    Thou shalt drink also water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: from time to time shalt thou drink.

12. 12

    וְעֻגַתve/u/GATand as a cake ofשְׂעֹרִיםse/o/RIMbarleyתֹּאכְלֶנָּהto/khe/LEN/nayou shall eat itוְהיאvehyand itבְּגֶלְלֵיbe/gel/LEwith dung ofצֵאַתtse/ATthe excrement ofהָאָדָםha/a/DAMmanתְּעֻגֶנָהte/u/GE/nayou shall bake itלְעֵינֵיהֶם׃le/e/ne/HEMbefore their eyes

    And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight.

13. 13

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDכָּכָהKA/khathusיֹאכְלוּyo/khe/LUshall eatבְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלve/NE-yis/ra/ELthe sons of Israelאֶת־לַחְמָםet-lach/MAMtheir breadטָמֵאta/MEuncleanבַּגּוֹיִםbag/go/YIMamong the nationsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereאַדִּיחֵםad/di/CHEMI will drive themשָׁם׃shamthere

    And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, whither I will drive them.

14. 14

    וָאֹמַרva/o/MARand I saidאֲהָהּa/HAalasאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYO LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdנַפְשִׁיnaf/SHImy soulלֹאlonotמְטֻמָּאָהme/tum/ma/Ahas been made uncleanוּנְבֵלָהu/ne/ve/LAand a carcassוּטְרֵפָהu/te/re/FAand a torn animalלֹא־אָכַלְתִּיlo-a/KHAL/tiI have not eatenמִנְּעוּרַיmin/ne/u/RAYfrom my youthוְעַד־עַתָּהve/AD-AT/tauntil nowוְלֹא־בָאve/LO-vanor has comeבְּפִיbe/FIinto my mouthבְּשַׂרbe/SARfleshפִּגּוּל׃pig/GULabominable

    Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.

15. 15

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meרְאֵהre/Eseeנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tiI have givenלְךָle/KHAfor youאֶת־[צְפִיעֵי]et-tse/fi/Ethe dung ofהַבָּקָרhab/ba/KARcattleתַּחַתTA/chatinstead ofגֶּלְלֵיgel/LEthe dung ofהָאָדָםha/a/DAMmanוְעָשִׂיתָve/a/SI/taand prepareאֶת־לַחְמְךָet-lach/me/KHAyour breadעֲלֵיהֶם׃a/le/HEMon it

    Then he said unto me, Lo, I have given thee cow's dung for man's dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread therewith.

16. 16

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meבֶּן־אָדָםben-a/DAMson of manהִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iשֹׁבֵרsho/VERwill breakמַטֵּה־לֶחֶםmat/TE-LE/chemthe staff of breadבִּירוּשָׁלַ͏ִםbI/ru/sha/LA/yimin Jerusalemוְאָכְלוּ־לֶחֶםve/a/khe/LU-LE/chemand they shall eat breadבְּמִשְׁקָלbe/mish/KALby weightוּבִדְאָגָהu/vid/a/GAand with anxietyוּמַיִםu/MA/yimand waterבִּמְשׂוּרָהbim/su/RAby measureוּבְשִׁמָּמוֹןu/ve/shim/ma/MONand in dismayיִשְׁתּוּ׃yish/TUthey shall drink

    Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment:

17. 17

    לְמַעַןle/MA/anin order thatיַחְסְרוּyach/se/RUthey may lackלֶחֶםLE/chembreadוָמָיִםva/MA/yimand waterוְנָשַׁמּוּve/na/SHAM/muand be dismayedאִישׁishoneוְאָחִיוve/a/CHIVwith anotherוְנָמַקּוּve/na/MAK/kuand waste awayבַּעֲוֺנָם׃ba/a/vo/NAMin their iniquity

    That they may want bread and water, and be astonied one with another, and consume away for their iniquity.
