   Also, thou son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD:

   כֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODיַעַןYA/anbecauseאָמַרa/MARsaidהָאוֹיֵבha/o/YEVthe enemyעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMagainst youהֶאָחhe/ACHahaוּבָמוֹתu/va/MOTand the heightsעוֹלָםo/LAMancientלְמוֹרָשָׁהle/mo/ra/SHAa possessionהָיְתָהha/ye/TAhave becomeלָּנוּ׃LA/nuours

   Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession:

   לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeהִנָּבֵאhin/na/VEprophesyוְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand sayכֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODיַעַןYA/anbecauseבְּיַעַןbe/YA/aneven becauseשַׁמּוֹתsham/MOTthey made desolateוְשָׁאֹףve/sha/OFand crushedאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouמִסָּבִיבmis/sa/VIVon every sideלִהְיוֹתְכֶםlih/yot/KHEMthat you might becomeמוֹרָשָׁהmo/ra/SHAa possessionלִשְׁאֵרִיתlish/e/RITto the rest ofהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMthe nationsוַתֵּעֲלוּvat/te/a/LUand you are taken upעַל־שְׂפַתal-se/FATon the lips ofלָשׁוֹןla/SHONtalkersוְדִבַּת־עָם׃ve/dib/BAT-amand an evil report of the people

   Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people:

   Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about;

   לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODאִם־לֹאim-losurelyבְּאֵשׁbe/ESHin the fire ofקִנְאָתִיkin/a/TImy jealousyדִבַּרְתִּיdib/BAR/tiI have spokenעַל־שְׁאֵרִיתal-she/e/RITagainst the rest ofהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMthe nationsוְעַל־אֱדוֹםve/AL-e/DOMand against Edomכֻּלָּאkul/LAallאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoנָתְנוּ־אֶת־אַרְצִיna/te/NU-et-ar/TSIhave given my landלָהֶםla/HEMto themselvesלְמוֹרָשָׁהle/mo/ra/SHAas a possessionבְּשִׂמְחַתbe/sim/CHATwith the joy ofכׇּל־לֵבָבkol-le/VAVall their heartבִּשְׁאָטbish/ATwith despite ofנֶפֶשׁNE/feshsoulלְמַעַןle/MA/antoמִגְרָשָׁהּmig/ra/SHAcast it outלָבַז׃la/VAZfor a prey

   Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.

   Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen:

   לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODאֲנִיa/NIIנָשָׂאתִיna/SA/tihave lifted upאֶת־יָדִיet-ya/DImy handאִם־לֹאim-losurelyהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMthe nationsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat areלָכֶםla/KHEMabout youמִסָּבִיבmis/sa/VIVround aboutהֵמָּהHEM/matheyכְּלִמָּתָםke/lim/ma/TAMtheir shameיִשָּׂאוּ׃yis/SA/uthey shall bear

   Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame.

8. 8

   וְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMand youהָרֵיha/REO mountains ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelעַנְפְּכֶםan/pe/KHEMyour branchesתִּתֵּנוּtit/TE/nuyou shall shoot forthוּפֶרְיְכֶםu/fer/ye/KHEMand your fruitתִּשְׂאוּtis/Uyou shall bearלְעַמִּיle/am/MIto my peopleיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelכִּיkiforקֵרְבוּker/VUthey are at handלָבוֹא׃la/VOto come

   But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come.

9. 9

   כִּיkiforהִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMfor youוּפָנִיתִיu/fa/NI/tiand I will turnאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youוְנֶעֱבַדְתֶּםve/ne/e/vad/TEMand you shall be tilledוְנִזְרַעְתֶּם׃ve/niz/ra/TEMand you will be sown

   For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown:

10. 10

    וְהִרְבֵּיתִיve/hir/be/TIand I will multiplyעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMon youאָדָםa/DAMmenכׇּל־בֵּיתkol-betall the house ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelכֻּלֹּהkul/LOall of itוְנֹשְׁבוּve/nosh/VUand shall be inhabitedהֶעָרִיםhe/a/RIMthe citiesוְהֶחֳרָבוֹתve/he/cho/ra/VOTand the ruinsתִּבָּנֶינָה׃tib/ba/NE/nashall be built

    And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded:

11. 11

    וְהִרְבֵּיתִיve/hir/be/TIand I will multiplyעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMon youאָדָםa/DAMmanוּבְהֵמָהu/ve/he/MAand beastוְרָבוּve/ra/VUand they shall increaseוּפָרוּu/fa/RUand bear fruitוְהוֹשַׁבְתִּיve/ho/shav/TIand I will settleאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouכְּקַדְמוֹתֵיכֶםke/kad/mo/te/KHEMas in your former timesוְהֵיטִבֹתִיve/he/ti/vo/TIand will do betterמֵרִאשֹׁתֵיכֶםme/ri/sho/te/KHEMthan at your beginningsוִידַעְתֶּםvi/da/TEMand you shall knowכִּי־אֲנִיki-a/NIthat I amיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

12. 12

    וְהוֹלַכְתִּיve/ho/lakh/TIand I will cause to walkעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMon youאָדָםa/DAMmenאֶת־עַמִּיet-am/MImy peopleיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוִירֵשׁוּךָvi/re/SHU/khaand they shall possess youוְהָיִיתָve/ha/YI/taand you shall beלָהֶםla/HEMtheirלְנַחֲלָהle/na/cha/LAinheritanceוְלֹא־תוֹסִףve/LO-to/SIFand you shall noעוֹדodmoreלְשַׁכְּלָם׃le/shak/ke/LAMbereave them

    Yea, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of men.

13. 13

    כֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODיַעַןYA/anbecauseאֹמְרִיםom/RIMthey sayלָכֶםla/KHEMto youאֹכֶלֶתo/KHE/leta devourer ofאָדָםa/DAMmen(אתי)tay[אָתְּ]attyou areוּמְשַׁכֶּלֶתu/me/shak/KE/letand a bereaver of(גויך)gavayakh[גּוֹיַיִךְ]go/YA/yikhyour nationsהָיִית׃ha/YITyou have been

    Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they say unto you, Thou land devourest up men, and hast bereaved thy nations;

14. 14

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeאָדָםa/DAMmenלֹא־תֹאכְלִיlo-TO/khe/liyou shall devour noעוֹדodmore[וְגוֹיַיִךְ]ve/go/YA/yikhand your nationsלֹאlonot(תכשלי)takhashalay[תְשַׁכְּלִי־]עוֹדte/shak/ke/LI-odbereave againנְאֻםne/UMsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe Lordיֱהֹוִה׃AdonaiGOD

    Therefore thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nations any more, saith the Lord GOD.

15. 15

    וְלֹא־אַשְׁמִיעַve/LO-ash/MI/anor will I cause to be heardאֵלַיִךְe/LA/yikhin youעוֹדodagainכְּלִמַּתke/lim/MATthe shame ofהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMthe nationsוְחֶרְפַּתve/cher/PATand the reproach ofעַמִּיםam/MIMpeoplesלֹאlonotתִשְׂאִי־עוֹדtis/I-odyou shall bear again[וְגוֹיַיִךְ]ve/go/YA/yikhand your nationsלֹא־תַכְשִׁלִיlo-takh/SHI/liyou shall not cause to stumbleעוֹדodagainנְאֻםne/UMsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe Lordיֱהֹוִה׃AdonaiGOD

    Neither will I cause men to hear in thee the shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the people any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nations to fall any more, saith the Lord GOD.

16. 16

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passדְבַר־יְהֹוָהde/VAR-Adonaithe word of the LORDאֵלַיe/LAYto meלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

17. 17

    בֶּן־אָדָםben-a/DAMson of manבֵּיתbetthe house ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelיֹשְׁבִיםyosh/VIMdweltעַל־אַדְמָתָםal-ad/ma/TAMin their landוַיְטַמְּאוּvay/tam/me/Uthey defiledאוֹתָהּo/TAitבְּדַרְכָּםbe/dar/KAMby their wayוּבַעֲלִילוֹתָםu/va/a/li/lo/TAMand by their doingsכְּטֻמְאַתke/tum/ATlike the uncleanness ofהַנִּדָּהhan/nid/DAimpurityהָיְתָהha/ye/TAwasדַרְכָּםdar/KAMtheir wayלְפָנָי׃le/fa/NAYbefore me

    Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.

18. 18

    וָאֶשְׁפֹּךְva/esh/POKHand I have poured outחֲמָתִיcha/ma/TImy furyעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMon themעַל־הַדָּםal-had/DAMfor the bloodאֲשֶׁר־שָׁפְכוּa/SHER-sha/fe/KHUthat they had shedעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retson the landוּבְגִלּוּלֵיהֶםu/ve/gil/lu/le/HEMand with their idolsטִמְּאוּהָ׃tim/me/U/hathey had defiled it

    Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it:

19. 19

    וָאָפִיץva/a/FITSand I scatteredאֹתָםo/TAMthemבַּגּוֹיִםbag/go/YIMamong the nationsוַיִּזָּרוּvay/yiz/za/RUand they were dispersedבָּאֲרָצוֹתba/a/ra/TSOTin the landsכְּדַרְכָּםke/dar/KAMaccording to their wayוְכַעֲלִילוֹתָםve/kha/a/li/lo/TAMand according to their doingsשְׁפַטְתִּים׃she/fat/TIMI judged them

    And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.

20. 20

    וַיָּבוֹאvay/ya/VOand when they cameאֶל־הַגּוֹיִםel-hag/go/YIMto the nationsאֲשֶׁר־בָּאוּa/SHER-BA/uwhere they wentשָׁםshamthereוַיְחַלְּלוּvay/chal/le/LUthey profanedאֶת־שֵׁםet-shemthe name ofקׇדְשִׁיkod/SHImy holinessבֶּאֱמֹרbe/e/MORin that it was saidלָהֶםla/HEMof themעַם־יְהֹוָהam-Adonaithe people of the LORDאֵלֶּהEL/lethese areוּמֵאַרְצוֹu/me/ar/TSOand from His landיָצָאוּ׃ya/TSA/uthey went out

    And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land.

21. 21

    וָאֶחְמֹלva/ech/MOLbut I had pityעַל־שֵׁםal-shemfor the name ofקׇדְשִׁיkod/SHImy holinessאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichחִלְּלֻהוּchil/le/lu/HUhad profanedבֵּיתbetthe house ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelבַּגּוֹיִםbag/go/YIMamong the nationsאֲשֶׁר־בָּאוּa/SHER-BA/uwhere they wentשָׁמָּה׃SHAM/mathere

    But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, whither they went.

22. 22

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeאֱמֹרe/MORsayלְבֵית־יִשְׂרָאֵלle/VET-yis/ra/ELto the house of Israelכֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODלֹאlonotלְמַעַנְכֶםle/ma/an/KHEMfor your sakesאֲנִיa/NIIעֹשֶׂהo/SEdo thisבֵּיתbetO house ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelכִּיkibutאִם־לְשֵׁם־קׇדְשִׁיim-le/SHEM-kod/SHIrather for my holy nameאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichחִלַּלְתֶּםchil/lal/TEMyou have profanedבַּגּוֹיִםbag/go/YIMamong the nationsאֲשֶׁר־בָּאתֶםa/SHER-BA/temwhere you wentשָׁם׃shamthere

    Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went.

23. 23

    וְקִדַּשְׁתִּיve/kid/dash/TIand I will sanctifyאֶת־שְׁמִיet-she/MImy nameהַגָּדוֹלhag/ga/DOLthe greatהַמְחֻלָּלham/chul/LALwhich was profanedבַּגּוֹיִםbag/go/YIMamong the nationsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichחִלַּלְתֶּםchil/lal/TEMyou have profanedבְּתוֹכָםbe/to/KHAMamong themוְיָדְעוּve/ya/de/Uand they shall knowהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMthe nationsכִּי־אֲנִיki-a/NIthat I amיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDנְאֻםne/UMsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODבְּהִקָּדְשִׁיbe/hik/ka/de/SHIwhen I am sanctifiedבָכֶםva/KHEMin youלְעֵינֵיהֶם׃le/e/ne/HEMbefore their eyes

    And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

24. 24

    וְלָקַחְתִּיve/la/kach/TIand I will takeאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouמִן־הַגּוֹיִםmin-hag/go/YIMfrom among the nationsוְקִבַּצְתִּיve/kib/bats/TIand I will gatherאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouמִכׇּל־הָאֲרָצוֹתmik/KOL-ha/a/ra/TSOTfrom all the landsוְהֵבֵאתִיve/he/ve/TIand I will bringאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouאֶל־אַדְמַתְכֶם׃el-ad/mat/KHEMinto your land

    For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

25. 25

    וְזָרַקְתִּיve/za/rak/TIthen I will sprinkleעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMon youמַיִםMA/yimwaterטְהוֹרִיםte/ho/RIMcleanוּטְהַרְתֶּםu/te/har/TEMand you shall be cleanמִכֹּלmik/KOLfrom allטֻמְאוֹתֵיכֶםtum/o/te/KHEMyour uncleannessesוּמִכׇּל־גִּלּוּלֵיכֶםu/mik/KOL-gil/lu/le/KHEMand from all your idolsאֲטַהֵרa/ta/HERI will cleanseאֶתְכֶם׃et/KHEMyou

    Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

26. 26

    וְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand I will giveלָכֶםla/KHEMto youלֵבleva heartחָדָשׁcha/DASHnewוְרוּחַve/RU/achand a spiritחֲדָשָׁהcha/da/SHAnewאֶתֵּןet/TENI will giveבְּקִרְבְּכֶםbe/kir/be/KHEMamong youוַהֲסִרֹתִיva/ha/si/ro/TIand I will take awayאֶת־לֵבet-levthe heart ofהָאֶבֶןha/E/venstoneמִבְּשַׂרְכֶםmib/be/sar/KHEMfrom your fleshוְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand I will giveלָכֶםla/KHEMto youלֵבleva heart ofבָּשָׂר׃ba/SARflesh

    A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27. 27

    וְאֶת־רוּחִיve/ET-ru/CHIand my spiritאֶתֵּןet/TENI will giveבְּקִרְבְּכֶםbe/kir/be/KHEMamong youוְעָשִׂיתִיve/a/SI/tiand causeאֵת־אֲשֶׁר־בְּחֻקַּיet-a/SHER-be/chuk/KAYthat in my statutesתֵּלֵכוּte/LE/khuyou will walkוּמִשְׁפָּטַיu/mish/pa/TAYand my judgmentsתִּשְׁמְרוּtish/me/RUyou keepוַעֲשִׂיתֶם׃va/a/si/TEMand do them

    And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

28. 28

    וִישַׁבְתֶּםvi/shav/TEMand you shall dwellבָּאָרֶץba/A/retsin the landאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tiI gaveלַאֲבֹתֵיכֶםla/a/vo/te/KHEMto your ancestorsוִהְיִיתֶםvih/yi/TEMand you shall beלִיlimyלְעָםle/AMpeopleוְאָנֹכִיve/a/no/KHIand Iאֶהְיֶהeh/YEwill beלָכֶםla/KHEMyourלֵאלֹהִים׃le/lo/HIMGod

    And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

    וְהוֹשַׁעְתִּיve/ho/sha/TIand I will saveאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouמִכֹּלmik/KOLfrom allטֻמְאוֹתֵיכֶםtum/o/te/KHEMyour uncleannessesוְקָרָאתִיve/ka/RA/tiand I will call forאֶל־הַדָּגָןel-had/da/GANto the grainוְהִרְבֵּיתִיve/hir/be/TIand I will multiplyאֹתוֹo/TOitוְלֹא־אֶתֵּןve/LO-et/TENand lay noעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMon youרָעָב׃ra/AVfamine

    I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.

30. 30

    וְהִרְבֵּיתִיve/hir/be/TIand I will multiplyאֶת־פְּרִיet-pe/RIthe fruit ofהָעֵץha/ETSthe treeוּתְנוּבַתu/te/nu/VATand the increase ofהַשָּׂדֶהhas/sa/DEthe fieldלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹאlonotתִקְחוּtik/CHUyou shall receiveעוֹדodagainחֶרְפַּתcher/PATthe shame ofרָעָבra/AVfamineבַּגּוֹיִם׃bag/go/YIMamong the nations

    And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.

31. 31

    וּזְכַרְתֶּםu/ze/khar/TEMand you shall rememberאֶת־דַּרְכֵיכֶםet-dar/khe/KHEMyour waysהָרָעִיםha/ra/IMevilוּמַעַלְלֵיכֶםu/ma/al/le/KHEMand your doingsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat wereלֹא־טוֹבִיםlo-to/VIMnot goodוּנְקֹטֹתֶםu/ne/ko/to/TEMand you shall loathe yourselvesבִּפְנֵיכֶםbif/ne/KHEMin your own sightעַלalforעֲוֺנֹתֵיכֶםa/vo/no/te/KHEMyour iniquitiesוְעַלve/ALand forתּוֹעֲבוֹתֵיכֶם׃to/a/vo/te/KHEMyour abominations

    Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.

32. 32

    לֹאlonotלְמַעַנְכֶםle/ma/an/KHEMfor your sakesאֲנִי־עֹשֶׂהa/NI-o/SEdo I do thisנְאֻםne/UMsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODיִוָּדַעyiv/va/DAbe it knownלָכֶםla/KHEMto youבּוֹשׁוּBO/shube ashamedוְהִכָּלְמוּve/hik/ka/le/MUand be confoundedמִדַּרְכֵיכֶםmid/dar/khe/KHEMfor your waysבֵּיתbetO house ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

    Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.

33. 33

    כֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODבְּיוֹםbe/YOMin the day ofטַהֲרִיta/ha/RIthat I cleanseאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouמִכֹּלmik/KOLfrom allעֲוֺנוֹתֵיכֶםa/vo/no/te/KHEMyour iniquitiesוְהוֹשַׁבְתִּיve/ho/shav/TII will cause to be inhabitedאֶת־הֶעָרִיםet-he/a/RIMthe citiesוְנִבְנוּve/niv/NUand shall be builtהֶחֳרָבוֹת׃he/cho/ra/VOTthe ruins

    Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded.

34. 34

    וְהָאָרֶץve/ha/A/retsand the landהַנְּשַׁמָּהhan/ne/sham/MAthat was desolateתֵּעָבֵדte/a/VEDshall be tilledתַּחַתTA/chatinstead ofאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהָיְתָהha/ye/TAit wasשְׁמָמָהshe/ma/MAa desolationלְעֵינֵיle/e/NEin the sight ofכׇּל־עוֹבֵר׃kol-o/VERall who passed by

    And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.

35. 35

    וְאָמְרוּve/a/me/RUand they shall sayהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe landהַלֵּזוּhal/LE/zuthisהַנְּשַׁמָּהhan/ne/sham/MAthat was desolateהָיְתָהha/ye/TAhas becomeכְּגַן־עֵדֶןke/GAN-E/denlike the garden of Edenוְהֶעָרִיםve/he/a/RIMand the citiesהֶחֳרֵבוֹתhe/cho/re/VOTthat were wasteוְהַנְשַׁמּוֹתve/han/sham/MOTand desolateוְהַנֶּהֱרָסוֹתve/han/ne/he/ra/SOTand ruinedבְּצוּרוֹתbe/tsu/ROTfortifiedיָשָׁבוּ׃ya/SHA/vuare inhabited

    And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.

36. 36

    וְיָדְעוּve/ya/de/Uand they shall knowהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMthe nationsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיִשָּׁאֲרוּyish/sha/a/RUare leftסְבִיבוֹתֵיכֶםse/vi/vo/te/KHEMaround youכִּיkithatאֲנִיa/NIIיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבָּנִיתִיba/NI/tihave builtהַנֶּהֱרָסוֹתhan/ne/he/ra/SOTthe ruined placesנָטַעְתִּיna/TA/tiand plantedהַנְּשַׁמָּהhan/ne/sham/MAwhat was desolateאֲנִיa/NIIיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDדִּבַּרְתִּיdib/BAR/tiI have spokenוְעָשִׂיתִי׃ve/a/SI/tiand I will do it

    Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.

37. 37

    כֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODעוֹדodyetזֹאתzotfor thisאִדָּרֵשׁid/da/RESHwill I be inquired ofלְבֵית־יִשְׂרָאֵלle/VET-yis/ra/ELby the house of Israelלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto do itלָהֶםla/HEMfor themאַרְבֶּהar/BEI will increaseאֹתָםo/TAMthemכַּצֹּאןkats/TSONlike a flockאָדָם׃a/DAMof men

    Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.

38. 38

    כְּצֹאןke/TSONlike the flock ofקׇדָשִׁיםko/da/SHIMholy offeringsכְּצֹאןke/TSONlike the flock ofיְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalemבְּמוֹעֲדֶיהָbe/mo/a/DE/hain her appointed feastsכֵּןkensoתִּהְיֶינָהtih/YE/nashall beהֶעָרִיםhe/a/RIMthe citiesהֶחֳרֵבוֹתhe/cho/re/VOTwasteמְלֵאוֹתme/le/OTfilled withצֹאןtsonflocks ofאָדָםa/DAMmenוְיָדְעוּve/ya/de/Uand they shall knowכִּי־אֲנִיki-a/NIthat I amיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
