   הָיְתָהha/ye/TAwasעָלַיa/LAYon meיַד־יְהֹוָהyad-Adonaithe hand of the LORDוַיּוֹצִאֵנִיvay/yo/tsi/E/niand he brought me outבְרוּחַve/RU/achby the spirit ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוַיְנִיחֵנִיvay/ni/CHE/niand set me downבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHin the midst ofהַבִּקְעָהhab/bik/Athe valleyוְהִיאve/HIand itמְלֵאָהme/le/Awas full ofעֲצָמוֹת׃a/tsa/MOTbones

   The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

   וְהֶעֱבִירַנִיve/he/e/vi/RA/niand he caused me to passעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMby themסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdרַבּוֹתrab/BOTmanyמְאֹדme/ODveryעַל־פְּנֵיal-pe/NEon the face ofהַבִּקְעָהhab/bik/Athe valleyוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdיְבֵשׁוֹתye/ve/SHOTdryמְאֹד׃me/ODvery

   And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meבֶּן־אָדָםben-a/DAMson of manהֲתִחְיֶינָהha/tich/YE/nacan liveהָעֲצָמוֹתha/a/tsa/MOTthe bonesהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוָאֹמַרva/o/MARand I saidאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYO LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODאַתָּהat/TAYouיָדָעְתָּ׃ya/DA/taknow

   And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meהִנָּבֵאhin/na/VEprophesyעַל־הָעֲצָמוֹתal-ha/a/tsa/MOTover the bonesהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand sayאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themהָעֲצָמוֹתha/a/tsa/MOTO bonesהַיְבֵשׁוֹתhay/ve/SHOTdryשִׁמְעוּshim/Uhearדְּבַר־יְהֹוָה׃de/VAR-Adonaithe word of the LORD

   Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.

   כֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODלָעֲצָמוֹתla/a/tsa/MOTto the bonesהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֲנִיa/NIIמֵבִיאme/VIwill cause to enterבָכֶםva/KHEMinto youרוּחַRU/achbreathוִחְיִיתֶם׃vich/yi/TEMand you shall live

   Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

   וְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand I will layעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMon youגִּידִיםgi/DIMsinewsוְהַעֲלֵתִיve/ha/a/le/TIand will bring upעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMon youבָּשָׂרba/SARfleshוְקָרַמְתִּיve/ka/ram/TIand coverעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMyouעוֹרorwith skinוְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand putבָכֶםva/KHEMin youרוּחַRU/achbreathוִחְיִיתֶםvich/yi/TEMand you shall liveוִידַעְתֶּםvi/da/TEMand you shall knowכִּי־אֲנִיki-a/NIthat I amיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

   And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

   וְנִבֵּאתִיve/nib/BE/tiso I prophesiedכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasצֻוֵּיתִיtsuv/VE/tiI had been commandedוַיְהִי־קוֹלvay/HI-koland there was a noiseכְּהִנָּבְאִיke/hin/na/ve/Iwhen I prophesiedוְהִנֵּה־רַעַשׁve/hin/NE-RA/ashand behold a rattlingוַתִּקְרְבוּvat/tik/re/VUand came togetherעֲצָמוֹתa/tsa/MOTthe bonesעֶצֶםE/tsemboneאֶל־עַצְמוֹ׃el-ats/MOto its bone

   So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

   וְרָאִיתִיve/ra/I/tiand I lookedוְהִנֵּה־עֲלֵיהֶםve/hin/NE-a/le/HEMand behold on themגִּדִיםgi/DIMsinewsוּבָשָׂרu/va/SARand fleshעָלָהa/LAcame upוַיִּקְרַםvay/yik/RAMand coveredעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMthemעוֹרorskinמִלְמָעְלָהmil/MA/laaboveוְרוּחַve/RU/achbut breathאֵיןenthere was noneבָּהֶם׃ba/HEMin them

   And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meהִנָּבֵאhin/na/VEprophesyאֶל־הָרוּחַel-ha/RU/achto the breathהִנָּבֵאhin/na/VEprophesyבֶן־אָדָםven-a/DAMson of manוְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand sayאֶל־הָרוּחַel-ha/RU/achto the breathכֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODמֵאַרְבַּעme/ar/BAfrom the fourרוּחוֹתru/CHOTwindsבֹּאִיBO/icomeהָרוּחַha/RU/achO breathוּפְחִיu/fe/CHIand blowבַּהֲרוּגִיםba/ha/ru/GIMon the slainהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוְיִחְיוּ׃ve/yich/YUand they shall live

   Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.

    וְהִנַּבֵּאתִיve/hin/nab/BE/tiso I prophesiedכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasצִוָּנִיtsiv/VA/niHe commanded meוַתָּבוֹאvat/ta/VOand cameבָהֶםva/HEMinto themהָרוּחַha/RU/achthe breathוַיִּחְיוּvay/yich/YUand they livedוַיַּעַמְדוּvay/ya/am/DUand stood upעַל־רַגְלֵיהֶםal-rag/le/HEMon their feetחַיִלCHA/yilan armyגָּדוֹלga/DOLgreatמְאֹד־מְאֹד׃me/OD-me/ODvery exceedingly

    So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meבֶּן־אָדָםben-a/DAMson of manהָעֲצָמוֹתha/a/tsa/MOTthe bonesהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseכׇּל־בֵּיתkol-betthe whole house ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelהֵמָּהHEM/maareהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֹמְרִיםom/RIMsayיָבְשׁוּya/ve/SHUare dried upעַצְמוֹתֵינוּats/mo/TE/nuour bonesוְאָבְדָהve/a/ve/DAand is lostתִקְוָתֵנוּtik/va/TE/nuour hopeנִגְזַרְנוּnig/ZAR/nuwe are cut offלָנוּ׃LA/nufor our part

    Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeהִנָּבֵאhin/na/VEprophesyוְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand sayאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themכֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֲנִיa/NIIפֹתֵחַfo/TE/achwill openאֶת־קִבְרוֹתֵיכֶםet-kiv/ro/te/KHEMyour gravesוְהַעֲלֵיתִיve/ha/a/le/TIand I will bring upאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouמִקִּבְרוֹתֵיכֶםmik/kiv/ro/te/KHEMfrom your gravesעַמִּיam/MIO my peopleוְהֵבֵאתִיve/he/ve/TIand I will bringאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouאֶל־אַדְמַתel-ad/MATinto the land ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

    Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

    וִידַעְתֶּםvi/da/TEMand you shall knowכִּי־אֲנִיki-a/NIthat I amיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבְּפִתְחִיbe/fit/CHIwhen I openאֶת־קִבְרוֹתֵיכֶםet-kiv/ro/te/KHEMyour gravesוּבְהַעֲלוֹתִיu/ve/ha/a/lo/TIand when I bring upאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouמִקִּבְרוֹתֵיכֶםmik/kiv/ro/te/KHEMfrom your gravesעַמִּי׃am/MIO my people

    And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,

14. 14

    וְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand I will putרוּחִיru/CHImy spiritבָכֶםva/KHEMin youוִחְיִיתֶםvich/yi/TEMand you shall liveוְהִנַּחְתִּיve/hin/nach/TIand I will placeאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouעַל־אַדְמַתְכֶםal-ad/mat/KHEMin your landוִידַעְתֶּםvi/da/TEMand you shall knowכִּי־אֲנִיki-a/NIthat I amיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDדִּבַּרְתִּיdib/BAR/tiI have spokenוְעָשִׂיתִיve/a/SI/tiand performed itנְאֻם־יְהֹוָה׃ne/UM-Adonaisays the LORD

    And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passדְבַר־יְהֹוָהde/VAR-Adonaithe word of the LORDאֵלַיe/LAYto meלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

16. 16

    וְאַתָּהve/at/TAand youבֶן־אָדָםven-a/DAMson of manקַח־לְךָkach-le/KHAtake for yourselfעֵץetsa stickאֶחָדe/CHADoneוּכְתֹבu/khe/TOVand writeעָלָיוa/LAYVon itלִיהוּדָהlI/hu/DAfor Judahוְלִבְנֵיve/liv/NEand for the sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelחֲבֵרָוcha/ve/RAVhis companionsוּלְקַחu/le/KACHthen takeעֵץetsa stickאֶחָדe/CHADoneוּכְתוֹבu/khe/TOVand writeעָלָיוa/LAYVon itלְיוֹסֵףle/Yo/SEFfor Josephעֵץetsthe stick ofאֶפְרַיִםEf/RA/yimEphraimוְכׇל־בֵּיתve/KHOL-betand all the house ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelחֲבֵרָו׃cha/ve/RAVhis companions

    Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:

17. 17

    וְקָרַבve/ka/RAVand joinאֹתָםo/TAMthemאֶחָדe/CHADoneאֶל־אֶחָדel-e/CHADto anotherלְךָle/KHAfor yourselfלְעֵץle/ETSinto stickאֶחָדe/CHADoneוְהָיוּve/ha/YUand they shall becomeלַאֲחָדִיםla/a/cha/DIMoneבְּיָדֶךָ׃be/ya/DE/khain your hand

    And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.

18. 18

    וְכַאֲשֶׁרve/kha/a/SHERand whenיֹאמְרוּyo/me/RUshall speakאֵלֶיךָe/LE/khato youבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofעַמְּךָam/me/KHAyour peopleלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingהֲלוֹא־תַגִּידha/LO-tag/GIDwill you not tellלָנוּLA/nuto usמָה־אֵלֶּהma-EL/lewhat these meanלָּךְ׃lakhto you

    And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?

19. 19

    דַּבֵּרdab/BERsayאֲלֵהֶםa/le/HEMto themכֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֲנִיa/NIIלֹקֵחַlo/KE/achwill takeאֶת־עֵץet-etsthe stick ofיוֹסֵףYo/SEFJosephאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhich isבְּיַד־אֶפְרַיִםbe/YAD-ef/RA/yimin the hand of Ephraimוְשִׁבְטֵיve/shiv/TEand the tribes ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelחֲבֵרָוcha/ve/RAVhis companionsוְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand I will putאוֹתָםo/TAMthemעָלָיוa/LAYVwith himאֶת־עֵץet-etswith the stick ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahוַעֲשִׂיתִםva/a/si/TIMand make themלְעֵץle/ETSa stickאֶחָדe/CHADoneוְהָיוּve/ha/YUand they shall beאֶחָדe/CHADoneבְּיָדִי׃be/ya/DIin my hand

    Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.

20. 20

    וְהָיוּve/ha/YUand shall beהָעֵצִיםha/e/TSIMthe sticksאֲשֶׁר־תִּכְתֹּבa/SHER-tikh/TOVon which you writeעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMon themבְּיָדְךָbe/ya/de/KHAin your handלְעֵינֵיהֶם׃le/e/ne/HEMbefore their eyes

    And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.

21. 21

    וְדַבֵּרve/dab/BERand sayאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themכֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאֲנִיa/NIIלֹקֵחַlo/KE/achwill takeאֶת־בְּנֵיet-be/NEthe sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelמִבֵּיןmib/BENfrom amongהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMthe nationsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereהָלְכוּ־שָׁםha/le/KHU-shamthey have goneוְקִבַּצְתִּיve/kib/bats/TIand I will gatherאֹתָםo/TAMthemמִסָּבִיבmis/sa/VIVfrom every sideוְהֵבֵאתִיve/he/ve/TIand I will bringאוֹתָםo/TAMthemאֶל־אַדְמָתָם׃el-ad/ma/TAMinto their land

    And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

22. 22

    וְעָשִׂיתִיve/a/SI/tiand I will makeאֹתָםo/TAMthemלְגוֹיle/GOYa nationאֶחָדe/CHADoneבָּאָרֶץba/A/retsin the landבְּהָרֵיbe/ha/REon the mountains ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוּמֶלֶךְu/ME/lekhand kingאֶחָדe/CHADoneיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beלְכֻלָּםle/khul/LAMfor all of themלְמֶלֶךְle/ME/lekhkingוְלֹאve/LOand not(יהיה)yahayah[יִהְיוּ־]עוֹדyih/YU-odshall they be againלִשְׁנֵיlish/NEtwoגוֹיִםgo/YIMnationsוְלֹאve/LOand notיֵחָצוּye/CHA/tsushall they be dividedעוֹדodagainלִשְׁתֵּיlish/TEinto twoמַמְלָכוֹתmam/la/KHOTkingdomsעוֹד׃odany longer

    And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:

23. 23

    וְלֹאve/LOand notיִטַּמְּאוּyit/tam/me/Ushall they defile themselvesעוֹדodagainבְּגִלּוּלֵיהֶםbe/gil/lu/le/HEMby their idolsוּבְשִׁקּוּצֵיהֶםu/ve/shik/ku/tse/HEMor with their detestable thingsוּבְכֹלu/ve/KHOLor with any ofפִּשְׁעֵיהֶםpish/e/HEMtheir transgressionsוְהוֹשַׁעְתִּיve/ho/sha/TIand I will saveאֹתָםo/TAMthemמִכֹּלmik/KOLfrom allמוֹשְׁבֹתֵיהֶםmosh/vo/te/HEMtheir dwelling placesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichחָטְאוּcha/te/Uthey have sinnedבָהֶםva/HEMamong themוְטִהַרְתִּיve/ti/har/TIand I will cleanseאוֹתָםo/TAMthemוְהָיוּ־לִיve/ha/YU-liand they shall be myלְעָםle/AMpeopleוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iאֶהְיֶהeh/YEwill beלָהֶםla/HEMtheirלֵאלֹהִים׃le/lo/HIMGod

    Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

24. 24

    וְעַבְדִּיve/av/DIand my servantדָוִדDa/VIDDavidמֶלֶךְME/lekhshall be kingעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMover themוְרוֹעֶהve/ro/Eand shepherdאֶחָדe/CHADoneיִהְיֶהyih/YEthere shall beלְכֻלָּםle/khul/LAMfor all of themוּבְמִשְׁפָּטַיu/ve/mish/pa/TAYand in my judgmentsיֵלֵכוּye/LE/khuthey shall walkוְחֻקּוֹתַיve/chuk/ko/TAYand my statutesיִשְׁמְרוּyish/me/RUthey shall keepוְעָשׂוּve/a/SUand doאוֹתָם׃o/TAMthem

    And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.

25. 25

    וְיָשְׁבוּve/ya/she/VUand they shall dwellעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retsin the landאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tiI gaveלְעַבְדִּיle/av/DIto my servantלְיַעֲקֹבle/Ya/a/KOVto Jacobאֲשֶׁרa/SHERin whichיָשְׁבוּ־בָהּya/she/VU-vadweltאֲבוֹתֵיכֶםa/vo/te/KHEMyour fathersוְיָשְׁבוּve/ya/she/VUand they shall dwellעָלֶיהָa/LE/hain itהֵמָּהHEM/matheyוּבְנֵיהֶםu/ve/ne/HEMand their sonsוּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the children ofבְנֵיהֶםve/ne/HEMtheir sonsעַד־עוֹלָםad-o/LAMforeverוְדָוִדve/Da/VIDand Davidעַבְדִּיav/DImy servantנָשִׂיאna/SIshall be princeלָהֶםla/HEMtheirלְעוֹלָם׃le/o/LAMforever

    And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

26. 26

    וְכָרַתִּיve/kha/rat/TIand I will makeלָהֶםla/HEMwith themבְּרִיתbe/RITa covenant ofשָׁלוֹםsha/LOMpeaceבְּרִיתbe/RITa covenantעוֹלָםo/LAMeverlastingיִהְיֶהyih/YEit shall beאוֹתָםo/TAMwith themוּנְתַתִּיםu/ne/tat/TIMand I will establish themוְהִרְבֵּיתִיve/hir/be/TIand I will multiplyאוֹתָםo/TAMthemוְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand will setאֶת־מִקְדָּשִׁיet-mik/da/SHImy sanctuaryבְּתוֹכָםbe/to/KHAMamong themלְעוֹלָם׃le/o/LAMforever

    Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.

27. 27

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand shall beמִשְׁכָּנִיmish/ka/NImy dwelling placeעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMwith themוְהָיִיתִיve/ha/YI/tiand I will beלָהֶםla/HEMtheirלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMGodוְהֵמָּהve/HEM/maand theyיִהְיוּ־לִיyih/YU-lishall be myלְעָם׃le/AMpeople

    My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

28. 28

    וְיָדְעוּve/ya/de/Uand they shall knowהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMthe nationsכִּיkithatאֲנִיa/NIIיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמְקַדֵּשׁme/kad/DESHsanctifyאֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵלet-Yis/ra/ELIsraelבִּהְיוֹתbih/YOTwhen isמִקְדָּשִׁיmik/da/SHImy sanctuaryבְּתוֹכָםbe/to/KHAMamong themלְעוֹלָם׃le/o/LAMforever

    And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
