    The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

    בֶּן־אָדָםben-a/DAMson of manאֱמֹרe/MORsayלִנְגִידlin/GIDto the ruler ofצֹרTsorTyreכֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODיַעַןYA/anbecauseגָּבַהּga/VAis lifted upלִבְּךָlib/be/KHAyour heartוַתֹּאמֶרvat/TO/merand you have saidאֵלela godאָנִיA/niI amמוֹשַׁבmo/SHAVthe seat ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodיָשַׁבְתִּיya/SHAV/tiI sitבְּלֵבbe/LEVin the heart ofיַמִּיםyam/MIMthe seasוְאַתָּהve/at/TAyet you areאָדָםa/DAMa manוְלֹא־אֵלve/LO-eland not a godוַתִּתֵּןvat/tit/TENthough you setלִבְּךָlib/be/KHAyour heartכְּלֵבke/LEVas the heart ofאֱלֹהִים׃e/lo/HIMGod

    Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:

    הִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdחָכָםcha/KHAMwiseאַתָּהat/TAare you[מִדָּנִיֵּאל]Mid/da/niy/YELmore than Danielכׇּל־סָתוּםkol-sa/TUMno secretלֹאlonotעֲמָמוּךָ׃a/ma/MU/khacan hide from you

    Behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:

    בְּחׇכְמָתְךָbe/chokh/ma/te/KHAin your wisdomוּבִתְבוּנָתְךָu/vit/vu/na/te/KHAand by your understandingעָשִׂיתָa/SI/tayou have gottenלְּךָle/KHAfor yourselfחָיִלCHA/yilrichesוַתַּעַשׂvat/TA/asand have gottenזָהָבza/HAVgoldוָכֶסֶףva/KHE/sefand silverבְּאוֹצְרוֹתֶיךָ׃be/ots/ro/TE/khain your treasuries

    With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:

    בְּרֹבbe/ROVby your greatחׇכְמָתְךָchokh/ma/te/KHAwisdomבִּרְכֻלָּתְךָbir/khul/la/te/KHAby your tradingהִרְבִּיתָhir/BI/tayou have increasedחֵילֶךָche/LE/khayour richesוַיִּגְבַּהּvay/yig/BAand is lifted upלְבָבְךָle/va/ve/KHAyour heartבְּחֵילֶךָ׃be/che/LE/khabecause of your riches

    By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODיַעַןYA/anbecauseתִּתְּךָtit/te/KHAyou have setאֶת־לְבָבְךָet-le/va/ve/KHAyour heartכְּלֵבke/LEVlike the heart ofאֱלֹהִים׃e/lo/HIMGod

    Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeהִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iמֵבִיאme/VIwill bringעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaagainst youזָרִיםza/RIMstrangersעָרִיצֵיa/ri/TSEthe terrible ofגּוֹיִםgo/YIMnationsוְהֵרִיקוּve/he/RI/kuand they shall drawחַרְבוֹתָםchar/vo/TAMtheir swordsעַל־יְפִיal-ye/FIagainst the beauty ofחׇכְמָתֶךָchokh/ma/TE/khayour wisdomוְחִלְּלוּve/chil/le/LUand they shall defileיִפְעָתֶךָ׃yif/a/TE/khayour brightness

    Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness.

    לַשַּׁחַתlash/SHA/chatto the pitיוֹרִדוּךָyo/ri/DU/khathey shall bring you downוָמַתָּהva/MAT/taand you shall dieמְמוֹתֵיme/mo/TEdeaths ofחָלָלcha/LALthe slainבְּלֵבbe/LEVin the heart ofיַמִּים׃yam/MIMthe seas

    They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.

    הֶאָמֹרhe/a/MORsayתֹּאמַרto/MARwill you sayאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMa godאָנִיA/niI amלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהֹרְגֶךָhor/GE/khahim who slays youוְאַתָּהve/at/TAbut you areאָדָםa/DAMa manוְלֹא־אֵלve/LO-eland not a godבְּיַדbe/YADin the hand ofמְחַלְלֶיךָ׃me/chal/LE/khathose who slay you

    Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.

    מוֹתֵיmo/TEthe deaths ofעֲרֵלִיםa/re/LIMthe uncircumcisedתָּמוּתta/MUTyou shall dieבְּיַד־זָרִיםbe/YAD-za/RIMby the hand of strangersכִּיkiforאֲנִיa/NIIדִבַּרְתִּיdib/BAR/tihave spokenנְאֻםne/UMsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe Lordיֱהֹוִה׃AdonaiGOD

    Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.

    Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

    בֶּן־אָדָםben-a/DAMson of manשָׂאsatake upקִינָהki/NAa lamentationעַל־מֶלֶךְal-ME/lekhfor the king ofצוֹרTsorTyreוְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand sayלּוֹloto himכֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODאַתָּהat/TAyouחוֹתֵםcho/TEMseal upתׇּכְנִיתtokh/NITthe sumמָלֵאma/LEfull ofחׇכְמָהchokh/MAwisdomוּכְלִילu/khe/LILand perfect inיֹפִי׃YO/fibeauty

    Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

    בְּעֵדֶןbe/E/denin Edenגַּן־אֱלֹהִיםgan-e/lo/HIMthe garden of Godהָיִיתָha/YI/tayou wereכׇּל־אֶבֶןkol-E/venevery stoneיְקָרָהye/ka/RApreciousמְסֻכָתֶךָme/su/kha/TE/khawas your coveringאֹדֶםO/dema sardiusפִּטְדָהpit/DAa topazוְיָהֲלֹםve/ya/ha/LOMand a diamondתַּרְשִׁישׁtar/SHISHa berylשֹׁהַםSHO/haman onyxוְיָשְׁפֵהve/ya/she/FEand a jasperסַפִּירsap/PIRa sapphireנֹפֶךְNO/fekhan emeraldוּבָרְקַתu/va/re/KATand a carbuncleוְזָהָבve/za/HAVand goldמְלֶאכֶתme/LE/khetthe workmanship ofתֻּפֶּיךָtup/PE/khayour timbrelsוּנְקָבֶיךָu/ne/ka/VE/khaand your pipesבָּךְbakhin youבְּיוֹםbe/YOMin the day ofהִבָּרַאֲךָhib/ba/ra/a/KHAyou were createdכּוֹנָנוּ׃ko/NA/nuthey were prepared

    Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

    אַתְּ־כְּרוּבatt-ke/RUVyou were the cherubמִמְשַׁחmim/SHACHanointedהַסּוֹכֵךְhas/so/KHEKHthat coversוּנְתַתִּיךָu/ne/tat/TI/khaand I set youבְּהַרbe/HARon the mountain ofקֹדֶשׁKO/deshholyאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodהָיִיתָha/YI/tayou wereבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHin the midst ofאַבְנֵי־אֵשׁav/NE-eshstones of fireהִתְהַלָּכְתָּ׃hit/hal/LAKH/tayou walked

    Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

    תָּמִיםta/MIMblamelessאַתָּהat/TAwere youבִּדְרָכֶיךָbid/ra/KHE/khain your waysמִיּוֹםmiy/YOMfrom the dayהִבָּרְאָךְhib/ba/re/AKHyou were createdעַד־נִמְצָאad-nim/TSAuntil was foundעַוְלָתָהav/LA/taunrighteousnessבָּךְ׃bakhin you

    Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

    בְּרֹבbe/ROVby the multitude ofרְכֻלָּתְךָre/khul/la/te/KHAyour tradeמָלוּma/LUthey filledתוֹכְךָtokh/KHAyour midstחָמָסcha/MASviolenceוַתֶּחֱטָאvat/te/che/TAand you sinnedוָאֲחַלֶּלְךָva/a/chal/lel/KHAtherefore I cast you as profaneמֵהַרme/HARfrom the mountain ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodוָאַבֶּדְךָva/ab/bed/KHAand I destroyed youכְּרוּבke/RUVO cherubהַסֹּכֵךְhas/so/KHEKHthat coversמִתּוֹךְmit/TOKHfrom amongאַבְנֵי־אֵשׁ׃av/NE-eshstones of fire

    By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

    גָּבַהּga/VAwas lifted upלִבְּךָlib/be/KHAyour heartבְּיׇפְיֶךָbe/yof/YE/khain your beautyשִׁחַתָּshi/CHAT/tayou corruptedחׇכְמָתְךָchokh/ma/te/KHAyour wisdomעַל־יִפְעָתֶךָal-yif/a/TE/khaby reason of your brightnessעַל־אֶרֶץal-E/retsto the groundהִשְׁלַכְתִּיךָhish/lakh/TI/khaI cast youלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeמְלָכִיםme/la/KHIMkingsנְתַתִּיךָne/tat/TI/khaI have laid youלְרַאֲוָהle/RA/a/vathat may beholdבָךְ׃vakhyou

    Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

    מֵרֹבme/ROVfrom the multitude ofעֲוֺנֶיךָa/vo/NE/khayour iniquitiesבְּעֶוֶלbe/E/velby the iniquity ofרְכֻלָּתְךָre/khul/la/te/KHAyour tradeחִלַּלְתָּchil/LAL/tayou have defiledמִקְדָּשֶׁיךָmik/da/SHE/khayour sanctuariesוָאוֹצִא־אֵשׁva/o/TSI-eshtherefore I brought out a fireמִתּוֹכְךָmit/tokh/KHAfrom your midstהִיאhiitאֲכָלַתְךָa/kha/LAT/khahas devoured youוָאֶתֶּנְךָva/et/ten/KHAand I have turned youלְאֵפֶרle/E/ferto ashesעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retson the earthלְעֵינֵיle/e/NEin the eyes ofכׇּל־רֹאֶיךָ׃kol-ro/E/khaall those who see you

    Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

    כׇּל־יוֹדְעֶיךָkol-yod/E/khaall those who knew youבָּעַמִּיםba/am/MIMamong the peoplesשָׁמְמוּsha/me/MUare astonishedעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaat youבַּלָּהוֹתbal/la/HOTa terrorהָיִיתָha/YI/tayou have becomeוְאֵינְךָve/e/ne/KHAand you shall be no moreעַד־עוֹלָם׃ad-o/LAMforever

    All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passדְבַר־יְהֹוָהde/VAR-Adonaithe word of the LORDאֵלַיe/LAYto meלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

  21. 21

    בֶּן־אָדָםben-a/DAMson of manשִׂיםsimsetפָּנֶיךָpa/NE/khayour faceאֶל־צִידוֹןel-Tsi/DONtoward Zidonוְהִנָּבֵאve/hin/na/VEand prophesyעָלֶיהָ׃a/LE/haagainst her

    Son of man, set thy face against Zidon, and prophesy against it,

  22. 22

    וְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand sayכֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODהִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iעָלַיִךְa/LA/yikhagainst youצִידוֹןTsi/DONO Zidonוְנִכְבַּדְתִּיve/nikh/bad/TIand I will be glorifiedבְּתוֹכֵךְbe/to/KHEKHin the midst of youוְיָדְעוּve/ya/de/Uand they shall knowכִּי־אֲנִיki-a/NIthat I amיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבַּעֲשׂוֹתִיba/a/so/TIwhen I executeבָהּvain herשְׁפָטִיםshe/fa/TIMjudgmentsוְנִקְדַּשְׁתִּיve/nik/DASH/tiand am sanctifiedבָהּ׃vain her

    And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of thee: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.

  23. 23

    וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי־בָהּve/shil/lach/TI-vaand I will send into herדֶּבֶרDE/vera pestilenceוָדָםva/DAMand bloodבְּחוּצוֹתֶיהָbe/chu/tso/TE/hain its streetsוְנִפְלַלve/nif/LALand shall fallחָלָלcha/LALthe slainבְּתוֹכָהּbe/to/KHAin its midstבְּחֶרֶבbe/CHE/revby the swordעָלֶיהָa/LE/haagainst herמִסָּבִיבmis/sa/VIVon every sideוְיָדְעוּve/ya/de/Uand they shall knowכִּי־אֲנִיki-a/NIthat I amיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    For I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall be judged in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

    וְלֹא־יִהְיֶהve/LO-yih/YEand there shall be noעוֹדodmoreלְבֵיתle/VETto the house ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelסִלּוֹןsil/LONbrierמַמְאִירmam/IRprickingוְקוֹץve/KOTSand a thornמַכְאִבmakh/IVpainfulמִכֹּלmik/KOLof allסְבִיבֹתָםse/vi/vo/TAMwho are around themהַשָּׁאטִיםhash/sha/TIMwho despiseאוֹתָםo/TAMthemוְיָדְעוּve/ya/de/Uand they shall knowכִּיkithatאֲנִיa/NIIאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe Lordיֱהֹוִה׃AdonaiGOD

    And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

    כֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODבְּקַבְּצִיbe/kab/be/TSIwhen I have gatheredאֶת־בֵּיתet-betthe house ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelמִן־הָעַמִּיםmin-ha/am/MIMfrom the peoplesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנָפֹצוּna/FO/tsuthey are scatteredבָםvamamong themוְנִקְדַּשְׁתִּיve/nik/DASH/tiand am sanctifiedבָםvamin themלְעֵינֵיle/e/NEin the eyes ofהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMthe nationsוְיָשְׁבוּve/ya/she/VUand they shall dwellעַל־אַדְמָתָםal-ad/ma/TAMin their landאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tiI gaveלְעַבְדִּיle/av/DIto my servantלְיַעֲקֹב׃le/Ya/a/KOVto Jacob

    Thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob.

    וְיָשְׁבוּve/ya/she/VUand they shall dwellעָלֶיהָa/LE/hain itלָבֶטַחla/VE/tachin safetyוּבָנוּu/va/NUand they shall buildבָתִּיםvat/TIMhousesוְנָטְעוּve/na/te/Uand plantכְרָמִיםkhe/ra/MIMvineyardsוְיָשְׁבוּve/ya/she/VUand they shall dwellלָבֶטַחla/VE/tachin safetyבַּעֲשׂוֹתִיba/a/so/TIwhen I have executedשְׁפָטִיםshe/fa/TIMjudgmentsבְּכֹלbe/KHOLon allהַשָּׁאטִיםhash/sha/TIMthose who despiseאֹתָםo/TAMthemמִסְּבִיבוֹתָםmis/se/vi/vo/TAMaround themוְיָדְעוּve/ya/de/Uand they shall knowכִּיkithatאֲנִיa/NIIיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵיהֶם׃e/lo/he/HEMtheir God

    And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.
