   The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

   וְאַתָּהve/at/TAand youבֶן־אָדָםven-a/DAMson of manשָׂאsatake upעַל־צֹרal-Tsorfor Tyreקִינָה׃ki/NAa lamentation

   Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;

   וְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand sayלְצוֹרle/TSORto Tyre[הַיֹּשֶׁבֶת]hay/yo/SHE/vetwho dwellsעַל־מְבוֹאֹתal-me/vo/OTat the entrances ofיָםyamthe seaרֹכֶלֶתro/KHE/letmerchant ofהָעַמִּיםha/am/MIMthe peoplesאֶל־אִיִּיםel-iy/YIMfor islandsרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyכֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODצוֹרTsorO Tyreאַתְּattyouאָמַרְתְּa/MARThave saidאֲנִיa/NII amכְּלִילַתke/LI/latperfect ofיֹפִי׃YO/fibeauty

   And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty.

   בְּלֵבbe/LEVin the heart ofיַמִּיםyam/MIMthe seasגְּבוּלָיִךְge/vu/LA/yikhyour borders areבֹּנַיִךְbo/NA/yikhyour buildersכָּלְלוּka/le/LUthey perfectedיׇפְיֵךְ׃yof/YEKHyour beauty

   Thy borders are in the midst of the seas, thy builders have perfected thy beauty.

   בְּרוֹשִׁיםbe/ro/SHIMcypressesמִשְּׂנִירmis/Se/NIRfrom SenirבָּנוּBA/nuthey have madeלָךְlakhfor youאֵת־כׇּל־לֻחֹתָיִםet-kol-lu/cho/TA/yimall your planksאֶרֶזE/rezcedarמִלְּבָנוֹןmil/Le/va/NONfrom Lebanonלָקָחוּla/KA/chuthey have takenלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto makeתֹּרֶןTO/rena mastעָלָיִךְ׃a/LA/yikhfor you

   They have made all thy ship boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee.

   אַלּוֹנִיםal/lo/NIMoaksמִבָּשָׁןmib/Ba/SHANfrom Bashanעָשׂוּa/SUthey madeמִשּׁוֹטָיִךְmish/sho/TA/yikhyour oarsקַרְשֵׁךְkar/SHEKHyour boardsעָשׂוּ־שֵׁןa/SU-shenthey made of ivoryבַּת־אֲשֻׁרִיםbat-a/shu/RIMin boxwoodמֵאִיֵּיme/iy/YEfrom the isles ofכִּתִּיִּם׃Kit/tiy/YIMChittim

   Of the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim.

   שֵׁשׁ־בְּרִקְמָהshesh-be/rik/MAfine linen with embroideryמִמִּצְרַיִםmim/Mits/RA/yimout of Egyptהָיָהha/YAwasמִפְרָשֵׂךְmif/ra/SEKHyour sailלִהְיוֹתlih/YOTto beלָךְlakhyourלְנֵסle/NESensignתְּכֵלֶתte/KHE/letblueוְאַרְגָּמָןve/ar/ga/MANand purpleמֵאִיֵּיme/iy/YEfrom the isles ofאֱלִישָׁהE/li/SHAElishahהָיָהha/YAwasמְכַסֵּךְ׃me/khas/SEKHyour awning

   Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which thou spreadest forth to be thy sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered thee.

   יֹשְׁבֵיyosh/VEthe inhabitants ofצִידוֹןTsi/DONZidonוְאַרְוַדve/Ar/VADand Arvadהָיוּha/YUwereשָׁטִיםsha/TIMrowersלָךְlakhfor youחֲכָמַיִךְcha/kha/MA/yikhyour wise menצוֹרTsorO Tyreהָיוּha/YUwereבָךְvakhin youהֵמָּהHEM/mathey wereחֹבְלָיִךְ׃chov/LA/yikhyour pilots

   The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy mariners: thy wise men, O Tyrus, that were in thee, were thy pilots.

   זִקְנֵיzik/NEthe elders ofגְבַלGe/VALGebalוַחֲכָמֶיהָva/cha/kha/ME/haand its wise menהָיוּha/YUwereבָךְvakhin youמַחֲזִיקֵיma/cha/zi/KEcaulkers ofבִּדְקֵךְbid/KEKHyour seamsכׇּל־אֳנִיּוֹתkol-o/niy/YOTall the ships ofהַיָּםhay/YAMthe seaוּמַלָּחֵיהֶםu/mal/la/che/HEMwith their marinersהָיוּha/YUwereבָךְvakhin youלַעֲרֹבla/a/ROVto trade forמַעֲרָבֵךְ׃ma/a/ra/VEKHyour merchandise

   The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise.

    פָּרַסPa/RASPersiaוְלוּדve/LUDand Ludוּפוּטu/FUTand Putהָיוּha/YUwereבְחֵילֵךְve/che/LEKHin your armyאַנְשֵׁיan/SHEthe men ofמִלְחַמְתֵּךְmil/cham/TEKHyour warמָגֵןma/GENshieldוְכוֹבַעve/KHO/vaand helmetתִּלּוּ־בָךְtil/LU-vakhthey hung in youהֵמָּהHEM/matheyנָתְנוּna/te/NUgaveהֲדָרֵךְ׃ha/da/REKHyour splendor

    They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in thine army, thy men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in thee; they set forth thy comeliness.

    בְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofאַרְוַדAr/VADArvadוְחֵילֵךְve/che/LEKHand your armyעַל־חוֹמוֹתַיִךְal-cho/mo/TA/yikhon your wallsסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundוְגַמָּדִיםve/Gam/ma/DIMand the Gammaditesבְּמִגְדְּלוֹתַיִךְbe/mig/de/lo/TA/yikhin your towersהָיוּha/YUwereשִׁלְטֵיהֶםshil/te/HEMtheir shieldsתִּלּוּtil/LUthey hung upעַל־חוֹמוֹתַיִךְal-cho/mo/TA/yikhon your wallsסָבִיבsa/VIVall aroundהֵמָּהHEM/matheyכָּלְלוּka/le/LUhave perfectedיׇפְיֵךְ׃yof/YEKHyour beauty

    The men of Arvad with thine army were upon thy walls round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towers: they hanged their shields upon thy walls round about; they have made thy beauty perfect.

    תַּרְשִׁישׁTar/SHISHTarshishסֹחַרְתֵּךְso/char/TEKHwas your merchantמֵרֹבme/ROVby reason of the multitude ofכׇּל־הוֹןkol-honall kinds of richesבְּכֶסֶףbe/KHE/sefwith silverבַּרְזֶלbar/ZELironבְּדִילbe/DILtinוְעוֹפֶרֶתve/o/FE/retand leadנָתְנוּna/te/NUthey tradedעִזְבוֹנָיִךְ׃iz/vo/NA/yikhyour wares

    Tarshish was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in thy fairs.

    יָוָןYa/VANJavanתֻּבַלTu/VALTubalוָמֶשֶׁךְva/ME/shekhand MeshechהֵמָּהHEM/mathey wereרֹכְלָיִךְrokh/LA/yikhyour tradersבְּנֶפֶשׁbe/NE/feshwith the persons ofאָדָםa/DAMmenוּכְלֵיu/khe/LEand vessels ofנְחֹשֶׁתne/CHO/shetbronzeנָתְנוּna/te/NUthey tradedמַעֲרָבֵךְ׃ma/a/ra/VEKHyour merchandise

    Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market.

    מִבֵּיתmib/BETthey of the house ofתּוֹגַרְמָהTo/gar/MATogarmahסוּסִיםsu/SIMhorsesוּפָרָשִׁיםu/fa/ra/SHIMand horsemenוּפְרָדִיםu/fe/ra/DIMand mulesנָתְנוּna/te/NUtradedעִזְבוֹנָיִךְ׃iz/vo/NA/yikhyour wares

    They of the house of Togarmah traded in thy fairs with horses and horsemen and mules.

    בְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofדְדָןDe/DANDedanרֹכְלַיִךְrokh/LA/yikhwere your merchantsאִיִּיםiy/YIMislandsרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyסְחֹרַתse/cho/RATwere the market ofיָדֵךְya/DEKHyour handקַרְנוֹתkar/NOTtusks ofשֵׁןshenivory[וְהׇבְנִים]ve/hov/NIMand ebonyהֵשִׁיבוּhe/SHI/vuthey broughtאֶשְׁכָּרֵךְ׃esh/ka/REKHas your tribute

    The men of Dedan were thy merchants; many isles were the merchandise of thine hand: they brought thee for a present horns of ivory and ebony.

    אֲרָםA/RAMSyriaסֹחַרְתֵּךְso/char/TEKHwas your merchantמֵרֹבme/ROVby reason of the multitude ofמַעֲשָׂיִךְma/a/SA/yikhyour waresבְּנֹפֶךְbe/NO/fekhwith emeraldsאַרְגָּמָןar/ga/MANpurpleוְרִקְמָהve/rik/MAand embroideryוּבוּץu/VUTSand fine linenוְרָאמֹתve/ra/MOTand coralוְכַדְכֹּדve/khad/KODand agateנָתְנוּna/te/NUthey tradedבְּעִזְבוֹנָיִךְ׃be/iz/vo/NA/yikhfor your wares

    Syria was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of thy making: they occupied in thy fairs with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate.

    יְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahוְאֶרֶץve/E/retsand the land ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelהֵמָּהHEM/mathey wereרֹכְלָיִךְrokh/LA/yikhyour tradersבְּחִטֵּיbe/chit/TEwith the wheat ofמִנִּיתMin/NITMinnithוּפַנַּגu/fan/NAGand pannagוּדְבַשׁu/de/VASHand honeyוָשֶׁמֶןva/SHE/menand oilוָצֹרִיva/TSO/riand balmנָתְנוּna/te/NUthey tradedמַעֲרָבֵךְ׃ma/a/ra/VEKHyour merchandise

    Judah, and the land of Israel, they were thy merchants: they traded in thy market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm.

    דַּמֶּשֶׂקDam/ME/sekDamascusסֹחַרְתֵּךְso/char/TEKHwas your merchantבְּרֹבbe/ROVin the multitude ofמַעֲשַׂיִךְma/a/SA/yikhyour waresמֵרֹבme/ROVfor the multitude ofכׇּל־הוֹןkol-honall richesבְּיֵיןbe/YENfor the wine ofחֶלְבּוֹןChel/BONHelbonוְצֶמֶרve/TSE/merand woolצָחַר׃TSA/charwhite

    Damascus was thy merchant in the multitude of the wares of thy making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool.

    וְדָןVe/DANDan alsoוְיָוָןve/Ya/VANand Javanמְאוּזָּלme/uz/ZALgoing to and froבְּעִזְבוֹנַיִךְbe/iz/vo/NA/yikhin your waresנָתָנּוּna/TAN/nuthey tradedבַּרְזֶלbar/ZELironעָשׁוֹתa/SHOTwroughtקִדָּהkid/DAcassiaוְקָנֶהve/ka/NEand calamusבְּמַעֲרָבֵךְbe/ma/a/ra/VEKHfor your merchandiseהָיָה׃ha/YAwere

    Dan also and Javan going to and fro occupied in thy fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in thy market.

    דְּדָןDe/DANDedanרֹכַלְתֵּךְro/khal/TEKHwas your merchantבְּבִגְדֵי־חֹפֶשׁbe/vig/DE-CHO/feshin precious garmentsלְרִכְבָּהֿ׃le/rikh/BAfor riding

    Dedan was thy merchant in precious clothes for chariots.

    עֲרַבA/RAVArabiaוְכׇל־נְשִׂיאֵיve/KHOL-ne/si/Eand all the princes ofקֵדָרKe/DARKedarהֵמָּהHEM/matheyסֹחֲרֵיso/cha/REwere the merchants ofיָדֵךְya/DEKHyour handבְּכָרִיםbe/kha/RIMin lambsוְאֵילִםve/e/LIMand ramsוְעַתּוּדִיםve/at/tu/DIMand he goatsבָּםbamin theseסֹחֲרָיִךְ׃so/cha/RA/yikhwere they your merchants

    Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they thy merchants.

    רֹכְלֵיrokh/LEthe traders ofשְׁבָאShe/VAShebaוְרַעְמָהve/Ra/MAand RaamahהֵמָּהHEM/mathey wereרֹכְלָיִךְrokh/LA/yikhyour tradersבְּרֹאשׁbe/ROSHwith the chief ofכׇּל־בֹּשֶׂםkol-BO/semall spicesוּבְכׇל־אֶבֶןu/ve/KHOL-E/venand with every stoneיְקָרָהye/ka/RApreciousוְזָהָבve/za/HAVand goldנָתְנוּna/te/NUthey tradedעִזְבוֹנָיִךְ׃iz/vo/NA/yikhfor your wares

    The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they were thy merchants: they occupied in thy fairs with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.

    חָרָןCha/RANHaranוְכַנֵּהve/Khan/NEand Cannehוָעֶדֶןva/E/denand Edenרֹכְלֵיrokh/LEthe traders ofשְׁבָאShe/VAShebaאַשּׁוּרAsh/SHURAssyriaכִּלְמַדKil/MADChilmadרֹכַלְתֵּךְ׃ro/khal/TEKHyour trader

    Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad, were thy merchants.

    הֵמָּהHEM/mathese wereרֹכְלַיִךְrokh/LA/yikhyour tradersבְּמַכְלֻלִיםbe/makh/lu/LIMin choice thingsבִּגְלוֹמֵיbig/lo/MEin wrappings ofתְּכֵלֶתte/KHE/letblueוְרִקְמָהve/rik/MAand embroideryוּבְגִנְזֵיu/ve/gin/ZEand in chests ofבְּרֹמִיםbe/ro/MIMrich apparelבַּחֲבָלִיםba/cha/va/LIMwith cordsחֲבֻשִׁיםcha/vu/SHIMboundוַאֲרֻזִיםva/a/ru/ZIMand made of cedarבְּמַרְכֻלְתֵּךְ׃be/mar/khul/TEKHamong your merchandise

    These were thy merchants in all sorts of things, in blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among thy merchandise.

    אֳנִיּוֹתo/niy/YOTthe ships ofתַּרְשִׁישׁTar/SHISHTarshishשָׁרוֹתַיִךְsha/ro/TA/yikhyour caravansמַעֲרָבֵךְma/a/ra/VEKHfor your merchandiseוַתִּמָּלְאִיvat/tim/ma/le/Iand you were filledוַתִּכְבְּדִיvat/tikh/be/DIand made gloriousמְאֹדme/ODexceedinglyבְּלֵבbe/LEVin the heart ofיַמִּים׃yam/MIMthe seas

    The ships of Tarshish did sing of thee in thy market: and thou wast replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.

    בְּמַיִםbe/MA/yiminto watersרַבִּיםrab/BIMgreatהֱבִאוּךְhe/vi/UKHhave brought youהַשָּׁטִיםhash/sha/TIMthe rowersאֹתָךְo/TAKHyouרוּחַRU/achthe windהַקָּדִיםhak/ka/DIMeastשְׁבָרֵךְshe/va/REKHhas broken youבְּלֵבbe/LEVin the heart ofיַמִּים׃yam/MIMthe seas

    Thy rowers have brought thee into great waters: the east wind hath broken thee in the midst of the seas.

    הוֹנֵךְho/NEKHyour wealthוְעִזְבוֹנַיִךְve/iz/vo/NA/yikhand your waresמַעֲרָבֵךְma/a/ra/VEKHyour merchandiseמַלָּחַיִךְmal/la/CHA/yikhyour marinersוְחֹבְלָיִךְve/chov/LA/yikhand your sailorsמַחֲזִיקֵיma/cha/zi/KEthe caulkers ofבִדְקֵךְvid/KEKHyour seamsוְעֹרְבֵיve/or/VEand the dealers inמַעֲרָבֵךְma/a/ra/VEKHyour merchandiseוְכׇל־אַנְשֵׁיve/KHOL-an/SHEand all the men ofמִלְחַמְתֵּךְmil/cham/TEKHyour warאֲשֶׁר־בָּךְa/SHER-bakhwho are in youוּבְכׇל־קְהָלֵךְu/ve/KHOL-ke/ha/LEKHand in all your companyאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isבְּתוֹכֵךְbe/to/KHEKHin the midst of youיִפְּלוּyip/pe/LUshall fallבְּלֵבbe/LEVinto the heart ofיַמִּיםyam/MIMthe seasבְּיוֹםbe/YOMin the day ofמַפַּלְתֵּךְ׃map/pal/TEKHyour downfall

    Thy riches, and thy fairs, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the occupiers of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that are in thee, and in all thy company which is in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin.

    לְקוֹלle/KOLat the sound ofזַעֲקַתza/a/KATthe cry ofחֹבְלָיִךְchov/LA/yikhyour pilotsיִרְעֲשׁוּyir/a/SHUshall quakeמִגְרֹשׁוֹת׃mig/ro/SHOTthe suburbs

    The suburbs shall shake at the sound of the cry of thy pilots.

29. 29

    וְיָרְדוּve/ya/re/DUand shall come downמֵאֳנִיּוֹתֵיהֶםme/o/niy/yo/te/HEMfrom their shipsכֹּלkolallתֹּפְשֵׂיtof/SEwho handleמָשׁוֹטma/SHOTthe oarמַלָּחִיםmal/la/CHIMmarinersכֹּלkolallחֹבְלֵיchov/LEthe pilots ofהַיָּםhay/YAMthe seaאֶל־הָאָרֶץel-ha/A/retson the landיַעֲמֹדוּ׃ya/a/MO/duthey shall stand

    And all that handle the oar, the mariners, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;

30. 30

    וְהִשְׁמִיעוּve/hish/MI/uand shall cause to be heardעָלַיִךְa/LA/yikhover youבְּקוֹלָםbe/ko/LAMtheir voiceוְיִזְעֲקוּve/yiz/a/KUand shall cryמָרָהma/RAbitterlyוְיַעֲלוּve/ya/a/LUand shall castעָפָרa/FARdustעַל־רָאשֵׁיהֶםal-ra/she/HEMon their headsבָּאֵפֶרba/E/ferin ashesיִתְפַּלָּשׁוּ׃yit/pal/LA/shuthey shall wallow

    And shall cause their voice to be heard against thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes:

31. 31

    וְהִקְרִיחוּve/hik/RI/chuand they shall make baldאֵלַיִךְe/LA/yikhfor youקׇרְחָהkor/CHAbaldnessוְחָגְרוּve/cha/ge/RUand gird themselves withשַׂקִּיםsak/KIMsackclothוּבָכוּu/va/KHUand they shall weepאֵלַיִךְe/LA/yikhfor youבְּמַר־נֶפֶשׁbe/MAR-NE/feshwith bitterness of soulמִסְפֵּדmis/PEDwith mourningמָר׃marbitter

    And they shall make themselves utterly bald for thee, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for thee with bitterness of heart and bitter wailing.

32. 32

    וְנָשְׂאוּve/na/se/Uand they shall take upאֵלַיִךְe/LA/yikhfor youבְּנִיהֶםbe/ni/HEMin their wailingקִינָהki/NAa lamentationוְקוֹנְנוּve/kon/NUand lamentעָלָיִךְa/LA/yikhover youמִיmiwhoכְצוֹרkhe/TSORis like Tyreכְּדֻמָהke/du/MAlike one silencedבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHin the midst ofהַיָּם׃hay/YAMthe sea

    And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?

33. 33

    בְּצֵאתbe/TSETwhen went outעִזְבוֹנַיִךְiz/vo/NA/yikhyour waresמִיַּמִּיםmiy/yam/MIMfrom the seasהִשְׂבַּעַתְּhis/BA/attyou satisfiedעַמִּיםam/MIMpeoplesרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyבְּרֹבbe/ROVwith the multitude ofהוֹנַיִךְho/NA/yikhyour richesוּמַעֲרָבַיִךְu/ma/a/ra/VA/yikhand your merchandiseהֶעֱשַׁרְתְּhe/e/SHARTyou enrichedמַלְכֵי־אָרֶץ׃mal/KHE-A/retsthe kings of the earth

    When thy wares went forth out of the seas, thou filledst many people; thou didst enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy merchandise.

34. 34

    עֵתetat the timeנִשְׁבֶּרֶתnish/BE/retyou are brokenמִיַּמִּיםmiy/yam/MIMby the seasבְּמַעֲמַקֵּי־מָיִםbe/ma/a/mak/KE-MA/yimin the depths of waterמַעֲרָבֵךְma/a/ra/VEKHyour merchandiseוְכׇל־קְהָלֵךְve/KHOL-ke/ha/LEKHand all your companyבְּתוֹכֵךְbe/to/KHEKHin the midst of youנָפָלוּ׃na/FA/luhave fallen

    In the time when thou shalt be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters thy merchandise and all thy company in the midst of thee shall fall.

35. 35

    כֹּלkolallיֹשְׁבֵיyosh/VEthe inhabitants ofהָאִיִּיםha/iy/YIMthe islandsשָׁמְמוּsha/me/MUare astonishedעָלָיִךְa/LA/yikhat youוּמַלְכֵיהֶםu/mal/khe/HEMand their kingsשָׂעֲרוּSA/a/ruthey have shudderedשַׂעַרSA/arwith horrorרָעֲמוּra/a/MUare troubledפָּנִים׃pa/NIMin countenance

    All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore afraid, they shall be troubled in their countenance.

36. 36
