    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passדְבַר־יְהֹוָהde/VAR-Adonaithe word of the LORDאֵלַיe/LAYto meלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

    בֶּן־אָדָםben-a/DAMson of manשִׂיםsimsetפָּנֶיךָpa/NE/khayour faceאֶל־בְּנֵיel-be/NEtoward the sons ofעַמּוֹןAm/MONAmmonוְהִנָּבֵאve/hin/na/VEand prophesyעֲלֵיהֶם׃a/le/HEMagainst them

    Son of man, set thy face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them;

    וְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand sayלִבְנֵיliv/NEto the sons ofעַמּוֹןAm/MONAmmonשִׁמְעוּshim/Uhearדְּבַר־אֲדֹנָיde/VAR-a/do/NAYthe word of the LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODכֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODיַעַןYA/anbecauseאׇמְרֵךְom/REKHyou saidהֶאָחhe/ACHahaאֶל־מִקְדָּשִׁיel-mik/da/SHIagainst my sanctuaryכִי־נִחָלkhi-ni/CHALwhen it was profanedוְאֶל־אַדְמַתve/EL-ad/MATand against the land ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelכִּיkiwhenנָשַׁמָּהna/SHAM/mait was made desolateוְאֶל־בֵּיתve/EL-betand against the house ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahכִּיkiwhenהָלְכוּha/le/KHUthey wentבַּגּוֹלָה׃bag/go/LAinto exile

    And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeהִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iנֹתְנָךְnot/NAKHwill deliver youלִבְנֵי־קֶדֶםliv/NE-KE/demto the people of the eastלְמוֹרָשָׁהle/mo/ra/SHAfor a possessionוְיִשְּׁבוּve/yish/she/VUand they shall setטִירוֹתֵיהֶםti/ro/te/HEMtheir encampmentsבָּךְbakhin youוְנָתְנוּve/na/te/NUand makeבָךְvakhin youמִשְׁכְּנֵיהֶםmish/ke/ne/HEMtheir dwellingsהֵמָּהHEM/matheyיֹאכְלוּyo/khe/LUshall eatפִרְיֵךְfir/YEKHyour fruitוְהֵמָּהve/HEM/maand theyיִשְׁתּוּyish/TUshall drinkחֲלָבֵךְ׃cha/la/VEKHyour milk

    Behold, therefore I will deliver thee to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.

    וְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand I will makeאֶת־רַבָּהet-Rab/BARabbahלִנְוֵהlin/VEa pasture forגְמַלִּיםge/mal/LIMcamelsוְאֶת־בְּנֵיve/ET-be/NEand the sons ofעַמּוֹןAm/MONAmmonלְמִרְבַּץ־צֹאןle/mir/BATS-tsoninto a resting place of flocksוִידַעְתֶּםvi/da/TEMand you shall knowכִּי־אֲנִיki-a/NIthat I amיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the Ammonites a couchingplace for flocks: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

    כִּיkibecauseכֹהkhothusאָמַרa/MARsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODיַעַןYA/anbecauseמַחְאֲךָmach/a/KHAyou have clappedיָדyadhandsוְרַקְעֲךָve/rak/a/KHAand stampedבְּרָגֶלbe/RA/gelwith feetוַתִּשְׂמַחvat/tis/MACHand rejoicedבְּכׇל־שָׁאטְךָbe/KHOL-sha/te/KHAwith all your despiteבְּנֶפֶשׁbe/NE/feshin soulאֶל־אַדְמַתel-ad/MATagainst the land ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

    For thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast clapped thine hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel;

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeהִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iנָטִיתִיna/TI/tiwill stretch outאֶת־יָדִיet-ya/DImy handעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaagainst youוּנְתַתִּיךָu/ne/tat/TI/khaand will deliver you[לְבַז]le/VAZfor a spoilלַגּוֹיִםlag/go/YIMto the nationsוְהִכְרַתִּיךָve/hikh/rat/TI/khaand I will cut you offמִן־הָעַמִּיםmin-ha/am/MIMfrom the peoplesוְהַאֲבַדְתִּיךָve/ha/a/vad/TI/khaand make you perishמִן־הָאֲרָצוֹתmin-ha/a/ra/TSOTfrom the landsאַשְׁמִידְךָash/mi/de/KHAI will destroy youוְיָדַעְתָּve/ya/da/TAand you shall knowכִּי־אֲנִיki-a/NIthat I amיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    Behold, therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the heathen; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.

    כֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODיַעַןYA/anbecauseאֲמֹרa/MORsayמוֹאָבMo/AVMoabוְשֵׂעִירve/Se/IRand Seirהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdכְּכׇל־הַגּוֹיִםke/KHOL-hag/go/YIMis like all the nationsבֵּיתbetthe house ofיְהוּדָה׃Ye/hu/DAJudah

    Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen;

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeהִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iפֹתֵחַfo/TE/achwill openאֶת־כֶּתֶףet-KE/tefthe flank ofמוֹאָבMo/AVMoabמֵהֶעָרִיםme/he/a/RIMfrom the citiesמֵעָרָיוme/a/RAYVfrom his citiesמִקָּצֵהוּmik/ka/TSE/huon his frontiersצְבִיtse/VIthe glory ofאֶרֶץE/retsthe land ofבֵּיתBetBeth-הַיְשִׁימֹתhay/shi/MOTjeshimothבַּעַלBA/alBaal-מְעוֹןme/ONmeon[וְקִרְיָתָיְמָה]׃Ve/kir/ya/TAY/maand Kiriathaim

    Therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim,

    לִבְנֵי־קֶדֶםliv/NE-KE/demto the people of the eastעַל־בְּנֵיal-be/NEwith the sons ofעַמּוֹןAm/MONAmmonוּנְתַתִּיהָu/ne/tat/TI/haand will give itלְמוֹרָשָׁהle/mo/ra/SHAfor a possessionלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatלֹא־תִזָּכֵרlo-tiz/za/KHERmay not be rememberedבְּנֵי־עַמּוֹןbe/NE-am/MONthe sons of Ammonבַּגּוֹיִם׃bag/go/YIMamong the nations

    Unto the men of the east with the Ammonites, and will give them in possession, that the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations.

    וּבְמוֹאָבu/ve/Mo/AVand on Moabאֶעֱשֶׂהe/e/SEI will executeשְׁפָטִיםshe/fa/TIMjudgmentsוְיָדְעוּve/ya/de/Uand they shall knowכִּי־אֲנִיki-a/NIthat I amיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    And I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

    כֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODיַעַןYA/anbecauseעֲשׂוֹתa/SOThas dealtאֱדוֹםE/DOMEdomבִּנְקֹםbin/KOMby takingנָקָםna/KAMvengeanceלְבֵיתle/VETagainst the house ofיְהוּדָהYe/hu/DAJudahוַיֶּאְשְׁמוּvay/ye/she/MUand has incurred guiltאָשׁוֹםa/SHOMincur guiltוְנִקְּמוּve/nik/ke/MUand revenged themselvesבָהֶם׃va/HEMon them

    Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them;

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODוְנָטִתִיve/na/TI/tiI will also stretch outיָדִיya/DImy handעַל־אֱדוֹםal-E/DOMagainst Edomוְהִכְרַתִּיve/hikh/rat/TIand will cut offמִמֶּנָּהmim/MEN/nafrom itאָדָםa/DAMmanוּבְהֵמָהu/ve/he/MAand beastוּנְתַתִּיהָu/ne/tat/TI/haand I will make itחׇרְבָּהchor/BAa wasteמִתֵּימָןmit/Te/MANfrom Temanוּדְדָנֶהu/De/DA/neeven to Dedanבַּחֶרֶבba/CHE/revby the swordיִפֹּלוּ׃yip/PO/luthey shall fall

    Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.

    וְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand I will layאֶת־נִקְמָתִיet-nik/ma/TImy vengeanceבֶּאֱדוֹםBe/e/DOMon Edomבְּיַדbe/YADby the hand ofעַמִּיam/MImy peopleיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוְעָשׂוּve/a/SUand they shall doבֶאֱדוֹםVe/e/DOMin Edomכְּאַפִּיke/ap/PIaccording to my angerוְכַחֲמָתִיve/kha/cha/ma/TIand according to my furyוְיָדְעוּve/ya/de/Uand they shall knowאֶת־נִקְמָתִיet-nik/ma/TImy vengeanceנְאֻםne/UMsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe Lordיֱהֹוִה׃AdonaiGOD

    And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord GOD.

  15. 15

    כֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODיַעַןYA/anbecauseעֲשׂוֹתa/SOThave dealtפְּלִשְׁתִּיםPe/lish/TIMthe Philistinesבִּנְקָמָהbin/ka/MAby revengeוַיִּנָּקְמוּvay/yin/na/ke/MUand have takenנָקָםna/KAMvengeanceבִּשְׁאָטbish/ATwith despiteבְּנֶפֶשׁbe/NE/feshof soulלְמַשְׁחִיתle/mash/CHITto destroyאֵיבַתe/VATwith enmityעוֹלָם׃o/LAMperpetual

    Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred;

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODהִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iנוֹטֶהno/TEwill stretch outיָדִיya/DImy handעַל־פְּלִשְׁתִּיםal-Pe/lish/TIMagainst the Philistinesוְהִכְרַתִּיve/hikh/rat/TIand I will cut offאֶת־כְּרֵתִיםet-Ke/re/TIMthe Cherethitesוְהַאֲבַדְתִּיve/ha/a/vad/TIand I will destroyאֶת־שְׁאֵרִיתet-she/e/RITthe remnant ofחוֹףchofthe coast ofהַיָּם׃hay/YAMthe sea

    Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.

    וְעָשִׂיתִיve/a/SI/tiand I will executeבָםvamon themנְקָמוֹתne/ka/MOTvengeanceגְּדֹלוֹתge/do/LOTgreatבְּתוֹכְחוֹתbe/tokh/CHOTwith rebukes ofחֵמָהche/MAfuryוְיָדְעוּve/ya/de/Uand they shall knowכִּי־אֲנִיki-a/NIthat I amיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבְּתִתִּיbe/tit/TIwhen I layאֶת־נִקְמָתִיet-nik/ma/TImy vengeanceבָּם׃bamon them

    And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.
