Ezekiel 2 יְחֶזְקֵאל פרק ב׳

1. 1

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלָיe/LAYto meבֶּן־אָדָםben-a/DAMson of manעֲמֹדa/MODstandעַל־רַגְלֶיךָal-rag/LE/khaon your feetוַאֲדַבֵּרva/a/dab/BERand I will speakאֹתָךְ׃o/TAKHwith you

   And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.

2. 2

   וַתָּבֹאvat/ta/VOand cameבִיviinto meרוּחַRU/acha spiritכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasדִּבֶּרdib/BERspokeאֵלַיe/LAYto meוַתַּעֲמִדֵנִיvat/ta/a/mi/DE/niand it set meעַל־רַגְלָיal-rag/LAYon my feetוָאֶשְׁמַעva/esh/MAand I heardאֵת־מִדַּבֵּרet-mid/dab/BERone speakingאֵלָי׃e/LAYto me

   And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meבֶּן־אָדָםben-a/DAMson of manשׁוֹלֵחַsho/LE/acham sendingאֲנִיa/NIIאוֹתְךָot/KHAyouאֶל־בְּנֵיel-be/NEto the sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאֶל־גּוֹיִםel-go/YIMto nationsהַמּוֹרְדִיםham/mor/DIMthat rebelאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatמָרְדוּ־בִיma/re/DU-vihave rebelled against meהֵמָּהHEM/matheyוַאֲבוֹתָםva/a/vo/TAMand their ancestorsפָּשְׁעוּPASH/uhave transgressedבִיviagainst meעַד־עֶצֶםad-E/tsemto the veryהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthe dayהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

   And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.

   וְהַבָּנִיםve/hab/ba/NIMand the childrenקְשֵׁיke/SHEhard ofפָנִיםfa/NIMfaceוְחִזְקֵי־לֵבve/chiz/KE-levand hard of heartאֲנִיa/NIIשׁוֹלֵחַsho/LE/acham sendingאוֹתְךָot/KHAyouאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themוְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand you shall sayאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themכֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe Lordיֱהֹוִה׃AdonaiGOD

   For they are impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD.

5. 5

   וְהֵמָּהve/HEM/maand theyאִם־יִשְׁמְעוּim-yish/me/Uif they listenוְאִם־יֶחְדָּלוּve/IM-yech/DA/luor if they refuseכִּיkiforבֵּיתbetthe house ofמְרִיme/RIrebellionהֵמָּהHEM/matheyוְיָדְעוּve/ya/de/Uyet they shall knowכִּיkithatנָבִיאna/VIa prophetהָיָהha/YAhas beenבְתוֹכָם׃ve/to/KHAMamong them

   And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.

   וְאַתָּהve/at/TAand youבֶן־אָדָםven-a/DAMson of manאַל־תִּירָאal-ti/RAdo not be afraidמֵהֶםme/HEMof themוּמִדִּבְרֵיהֶםu/mid/div/re/HEMand of their wordsאַל־תִּירָאal-ti/RAdo not be afraidכִּיkithoughסָרָבִיםsa/ra/VIMbriersוְסַלּוֹנִיםve/sal/lo/NIMand thornsאוֹתָךְo/TAKHare with youוְאֶל־עַקְרַבִּיםve/EL-ak/rab/BIMand scorpionsאַתָּהat/TAyouיוֹשֵׁבyo/SHEVdwellמִדִּבְרֵיהֶםmid/div/re/HEMof their wordsאַל־תִּירָאal-ti/RAdo not be afraidוּמִפְּנֵיהֶםu/mip/pe/ne/HEMand at their facesאַל־תֵּחָתal-te/CHATdo not be dismayedכִּיkiforבֵּיתbetthe house ofמְרִיme/RIrebellionהֵמָּה׃HEM/mathey

   And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.

   וְדִבַּרְתָּve/dib/bar/TAand you shall speakאֶת־דְּבָרַיet-de/va/RAYmy wordsאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMto themאִם־יִשְׁמְעוּim-yish/me/Uif they listenוְאִם־יֶחְדָּלוּve/IM-yech/DA/luor if they refuseכִּיkiforמְרִיme/RIrebellionהֵמָּה׃HEM/mathey

   And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.

   וְאַתָּהve/at/TAand youבֶן־אָדָםven-a/DAMson of manשְׁמַעshe/MAhearאֵת־אֲשֶׁר־אֲנִיet-a/SHER-a/NIwhat Iמְדַבֵּרme/dab/BERam speakingאֵלֶיךָe/LE/khato youאַל־תְּהִי־מֶרִיal-te/HI-ME/rido not be rebelliousכְּבֵיתke/VETlike the house ofהַמֶּרִיham/ME/rithe rebellionפְּצֵהpe/TSEopenפִיךָFI/khayour mouthוֶאֱכֹלve/e/KHOLand eatאֵת־אֲשֶׁר־אֲנִיet-a/SHER-a/NIwhat Iנֹתֵןno/TENam givingאֵלֶיךָ׃e/LE/khato you

   But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.

   וָאֶרְאֶהva/er/Eand I sawוְהִנֵּה־יָדve/hin/NE-yadand behold a handשְׁלוּחָהshe/lu/CHAwas stretched outאֵלָיe/LAYto meוְהִנֵּה־בוֹve/hin/NE-voand behold in it wasמְגִלַּת־סֵפֶר׃me/gil/LAT-SE/fera scroll of a book

   And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;

10. 10

    וַיִּפְרֹשׂvay/yif/ROSand he spread outאוֹתָהּo/TAitלְפָנַיle/fa/NAYbefore meוְהִיאve/HIand itכְתוּבָהkhe/tu/VAwas writtenפָּנִיםpa/NIMon the frontוְאָחוֹרve/a/CHORand on the backוְכָתוּבve/kha/TUVand was writtenאֵלֶיהָe/LE/haon itקִנִיםki/NIMlamentationsוָהֶגֶהva/HE/geand moaningוָהִי׃va/HIand wailing

    And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
