   Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD's house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלָיe/LAYto meבֶּן־אָדָםben-a/DAMson of manאֵלֶּהEL/letheseהָאֲנָשִׁיםha/a/na/SHIMthe menהַחֹשְׁבִיםha/chosh/VIMwho deviseאָוֶןA/veniniquityוְהַיֹּעֲצִיםve/hay/yo/a/TSIMand giveעֲצַת־רָעa/TSAT-rawicked counselבָּעִירba/IRin the cityהַזֹּאת׃haz/ZOTthis

   Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:

   הָאֹמְרִיםha/om/RIMwho sayלֹאloit is notבְקָרוֹבve/ka/ROVnearבְּנוֹתbe/NOTto buildבָּתִּיםbat/TIMhousesהִיאhiit isהַסִּירhas/SIRthe potוַאֲנַחְנוּva/a/NACH/nuand we areהַבָּשָׂר׃hab/ba/SARthe flesh

   Which say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the caldron, and we be the flesh.

   לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeהִנָּבֵאhin/na/VEprophesyעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMagainst themהִנָּבֵאhin/na/VEprophesyבֶּן־אָדָם׃ben-a/DAMson of man

   Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.

   וַתִּפֹּלvat/tip/POLand fellעָלַיa/LAYon meרוּחַRU/achthe Spirit ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֵלַיe/LAYto meאֱמֹרe/MORsayכֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDכֵּןkensoאֲמַרְתֶּםa/mar/TEMyou have saidבֵּיתbetthe house ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוּמַעֲלוֹתu/ma/a/LOTand the thoughts ofרוּחֲכֶםru/cha/KHEMyour spiritאֲנִיa/NIIיְדַעְתִּיהָ׃ye/da/TI/haknow them

   And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the LORD; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them.

   הִרְבֵּיתֶםhir/be/TEMyou have multipliedחַלְלֵיכֶםchal/le/KHEMyour slainבָּעִירba/IRin the cityהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisוּמִלֵּאתֶםu/mil/le/TEMand you have filledחוּצֹתֶיהָchu/tso/TE/haits streetsחָלָל׃cha/LALwith the slain

   Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.

   לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeכֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODחַלְלֵיכֶםchal/le/KHEMyour slainאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomשַׂמְתֶּםsam/TEMyou have laidבְּתוֹכָהּbe/to/KHAin its midstהֵמָּהHEM/mathey areהַבָּשָׂרhab/ba/SARthe fleshוְהִיאve/HIand thisהַסִּירhas/SIRis the potוְאֶתְכֶםve/et/KHEMand youהוֹצִיאho/TSII will bring outמִתּוֹכָהּ׃mit/to/KHAfrom its midst

   Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.

   חֶרֶבCHE/revthe swordיְרֵאתֶםye/re/TEMyou have fearedוְחֶרֶבve/CHE/revand a swordאָבִיאa/VII will bringעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMon youנְאֻםne/UMsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe Lordיֱהֹוִה׃AdonaiGOD

   Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord GOD.

9. 9

   וְהוֹצֵאתִיve/ho/tse/TIand I will bring outאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouמִתּוֹכָהּmit/to/KHAfrom its midstוְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand deliverאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouבְּיַד־זָרִיםbe/YAD-za/RIMinto the hands of strangersוְעָשִׂיתִיve/a/SI/tiand I will executeבָכֶםva/KHEMon youשְׁפָטִים׃she/fa/TIMjudgments

   And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.

10. 10

    בַּחֶרֶבba/CHE/revby the swordתִּפֹּלוּtip/PO/luyou shall fallעַל־גְּבוּלal-ge/VULat the border ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאֶשְׁפּוֹטesh/POTI will judgeאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouוִידַעְתֶּםvi/da/TEMand you shall knowכִּי־אֲנִיki-a/NIthat I amיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

    הִיאhithisלֹא־תִהְיֶהlo-tih/YEshall not beלָכֶםla/KHEMyourלְסִירle/SIRpotוְאַתֶּםve/at/TEMnor youתִּהְיוּtih/YUyou shall beבְתוֹכָהּve/to/KHAin the midst of itלְבָשָׂרle/va/SARthe fleshאֶל־גְּבוּלel-ge/VULat the border ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאֶשְׁפֹּטesh/POTI will judgeאֶתְכֶם׃et/KHEMyou

    This city shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; but I will judge you in the border of Israel:

12. 12

    וִידַעְתֶּםvi/da/TEMand you shall knowכִּי־אֲנִיki-a/NIthat I amיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֲשֶׁרa/SHERforבְּחֻקַּיbe/chuk/KAYin my statutesלֹאlonotהֲלַכְתֶּםha/lakh/TEMyou have walkedוּמִשְׁפָּטַיu/mish/pa/TAYand my judgmentsלֹאlonotעֲשִׂיתֶםa/si/TEMyou have doneוּכְמִשְׁפְּטֵיu/khe/mish/pe/TEand according to the judgments ofהַגּוֹיִםhag/go/YIMthe nationsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat areסְבִיבוֹתֵיכֶםse/vi/vo/te/KHEMaround youעֲשִׂיתֶם׃a/si/TEMyou have done

    And ye shall know that I am the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.

13. 13

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passכְּהִנָּבְאִיke/hin/na/ve/Iwhen I prophesiedוּפְלַטְיָהוּu/Fe/lat/YA/huand Pelatiahבֶן־בְּנָיָהven-Be/na/YAthe son of Benaiahמֵתmetdiedוָאֶפֹּלva/ep/POLand I fellעַל־פָּנַיal-pa/NAYon my faceוָאֶזְעַקva/ez/AKand I cried outקוֹל־גָּדוֹלkol-ga/DOLwith a loud voiceוָאֹמַרva/o/MARand I saidאֲהָהּa/HAalasאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYO LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODכָּלָהka/LAa full endאַתָּהat/TAYouעֹשֶׂהo/SEwill makeאֵת־שְׁאֵרִיתet-she/e/RITof the remnant ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

    And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?

14. 14

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passדְבַר־יְהֹוָהde/VAR-Adonaithe word of the LORDאֵלַיe/LAYto meלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

15. 15

    בֶּן־אָדָםben-a/DAMson of manאַחֶיךָa/CHE/khayour brothersאַחֶיךָa/CHE/khayour brothersאַנְשֵׁיan/SHEthe men ofגְאֻלָּתֶךָge/ul/la/TE/khayour kindredוְכׇל־בֵּיתve/KHOL-betand all the house ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelכֻּלֹּהkul/LOwhollyאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomאָמְרוּa/me/RUhave saidלָהֶםla/HEMto themיֹשְׁבֵיyosh/VEthe inhabitants ofיְרוּשָׁלַ͏ִםYe/ru/sha/LA/yimJerusalemרַחֲקוּra/cha/KUget farמֵעַלme/ALfromיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלָנוּLA/nuto usהִיאhiit isנִתְּנָהnit/te/NAgivenהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe landלְמוֹרָשָׁה׃le/mo/ra/SHAfor a possession

    Son of man, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the LORD: unto us is this land given in possession.

16. 16

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeאֱמֹרe/MORsayכֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODכִּיkialthoughהִרְחַקְתִּיםhir/chak/TIMI have removed them farבַּגּוֹיִםbag/go/YIMamong the nationsוְכִיve/KHIand althoughהֲפִיצוֹתִיםha/fi/tso/TIMI have scattered themבָּאֲרָצוֹתba/a/ra/TSOTin the landsוָאֱהִיva/e/HIyet I have beenלָהֶםla/HEMto themלְמִקְדָּשׁle/mik/DASHa sanctuaryמְעַטme/ATfor a little whileבָּאֲרָצוֹתba/a/ra/TSOTin the landsאֲשֶׁר־בָּאוּa/SHER-BA/uwhere they have goneשָׁם׃shamthere

    Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.

17. 17

    לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeאֱמֹרe/MORsayכֹּה־אָמַרko-a/MARthus saysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe LordיֱהֹוִהAdonaiGODוְקִבַּצְתִּיve/kib/bats/TIand I will gatherאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouמִן־הָעַמִּיםmin-ha/am/MIMfrom the peoplesוְאָסַפְתִּיve/a/saf/TIand assembleאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouמִן־הָאֲרָצוֹתmin-ha/a/ra/TSOTfrom the landsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereנְפֹצוֹתֶםne/fo/tso/TEMyou have been scatteredבָּהֶםba/HEMin themוְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand I will giveלָכֶםla/KHEMto youאֶת־אַדְמַתet-ad/MATthe land ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

    Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.

18. 18

    וּבָאוּ־שָׁמָּהu/VA/u-SHAM/maand they shall come thereוְהֵסִירוּve/he/SI/ruand they shall removeאֶת־כׇּל־שִׁקּוּצֶיהָet-kol-shik/ku/TSE/haall its detestable thingsוְאֶת־כׇּל־תּוֹעֲבוֹתֶיהָve/ET-kol-to/a/vo/TE/haand all its abominationsמִמֶּנָּה׃mim/MEN/nafrom it

    And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.

19. 19

    וְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand I will giveלָהֶםla/HEMto themלֵבleva heartאֶחָדe/CHADoneוְרוּחַve/RU/achand a spiritחֲדָשָׁהcha/da/SHAnewאֶתֵּןet/TENI will giveבְּקִרְבְּכֶםbe/kir/be/KHEMamong youוַהֲסִרֹתִיva/ha/si/ro/TIand I will removeלֵבlevthe heart ofהָאֶבֶןha/E/venstoneמִבְּשָׂרָםmib/be/sa/RAMfrom their fleshוְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand I will giveלָהֶםla/HEMto themלֵבleva heart ofבָּשָׂר׃ba/SARflesh

    And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

20. 20

    לְמַעַןle/MA/anthatבְּחֻקֹּתַיbe/chuk/ko/TAYin my statutesיֵלֵכוּye/LE/khuthey may walkוְאֶת־מִשְׁפָּטַיve/ET-mish/pa/TAYand my judgmentsיִשְׁמְרוּyish/me/RUthey may keepוְעָשׂוּve/a/SUand doאֹתָםo/TAMthemוְהָיוּ־לִיve/ha/YU-liand they shall be myלְעָםle/AMpeopleוַאֲנִיva/a/NIand Iאֶהְיֶהeh/YEwill beלָהֶםla/HEMtheirלֵאלֹהִים׃le/lo/HIMGod

    That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

21. 21

    וְאֶל־לֵבve/EL-levand after the heart ofשִׁקּוּצֵיהֶםshik/ku/tse/HEMtheir detestable thingsוְתוֹעֲבוֹתֵיהֶםve/to/a/vo/te/HEMand their abominationsלִבָּםlib/BAMtheir heartsהֹלֵךְho/LEKHwalksדַּרְכָּםdar/KAMtheir wayבְּרֹאשָׁםbe/ro/SHAMon their headsנָתַתִּיna/TAT/tiI will bringנְאֻםne/UMsaysאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYthe Lordיֱהֹוִה׃AdonaiGOD

    But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD.

22. 22

    וַיִּשְׂאוּvay/yis/Uthen lifted upהַכְּרוּבִיםhak/ke/ru/VIMthe cherubimאֶת־כַּנְפֵיהֶםet-kan/fe/HEMtheir wingsוְהָאוֹפַנִּיםve/ha/o/fan/NIMand the wheelsלְעֻמָּתָםle/um/ma/TAMbeside themוּכְבוֹדu/khe/VODand the glory ofאֱלֹהֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלe/lo/HE-Yis/ra/ELthe God of Israelעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMwas over themמִלְמָעְלָה׃mil/MA/laabove

    Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

23. 23

    וַיַּעַלvay/YA/aland went upכְּבוֹדke/VODthe glory ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמֵעַלme/ALfromתּוֹךְtokhthe midst ofהָעִירha/IRthe cityוַיַּעֲמֹדvay/ya/a/MODand stoodעַל־הָהָרal-ha/HARon the mountainאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isמִקֶּדֶםmik/KE/demon the east ofלָעִיר׃la/IRthe city

    And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.

24. 24

    וְרוּחַve/RU/achand the spiritנְשָׂאַתְנִיne/sa/AT/nilifted me upוַתְּבִאֵנִיvat/te/vi/E/niand brought meכַשְׂדִּימָהKhas/DI/mato Chaldeaאֶל־הַגּוֹלָהel-hag/go/LAto the exilesבַּמַּרְאֶהbam/mar/Ein a visionבְּרוּחַbe/RU/achby the Spirit ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodוַיַּעַלvay/YA/aland went upמֵעָלַיme/a/LAYfrom meהַמַּרְאֶהham/mar/Ethe visionאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatרָאִיתִי׃ra/I/tiI saw

    Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

25. 25

    וָאֲדַבֵּרva/a/dab/BERand I spokeאֶל־הַגּוֹלָהel-hag/go/LAto the exilesאֵת־כׇּל־דִּבְרֵיet-kol-div/REall the words ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהֶרְאָנִי׃her/A/niHe had shown me

    Then I spake unto them of the captivity all the things that the LORD had shewed me.
