   And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.

   And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.

   וַיַּעֲשׂוּ־כֵןvay/ya/a/SU-khenand did soהַחַרְטֻמִּיםha/char/tum/MIMthe magiciansבְּלָטֵיהֶםbe/la/te/HEMwith their enchantmentsוַיַּעֲלוּvay/ya/a/LUand brought upאֶת־הַצְפַרְדְּעִיםet-hats/far/de/IMthe frogsעַל־אֶרֶץal-E/retsupon the land ofמִצְרָיִם׃Mits/RA/yimEgypt

   And the magicians did so with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt.

   וַיִּקְרָאvay/yik/RAand calledפַרְעֹהFar/OPharaohלְמֹשֶׁהle/Mo/SHEfor Mosesוּלְאַהֲרֹןu/Le/a/ha/RONand Aaronוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidהַעְתִּירוּha/TI/ruentreatאֶל־יְהֹוָהel-Adonaithe LORDוְיָסֵרve/ya/SERthat He may take awayהַצְפַרְדְּעִיםhats/far/de/IMthe frogsמִמֶּנִּיmim/MEN/nifrom meוּמֵעַמִּיu/me/am/MIand from my peopleוַאֲשַׁלְּחָהva/a/shal/le/CHAand I will let goאֶת־הָעָםet-ha/AMthe peopleוְיִזְבְּחוּve/yiz/be/CHUthat they may sacrificeלַיהֹוָה׃la-Adonaito the LORD

   Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Intreat the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the LORD.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesלְפַרְעֹהle/Far/Oto Pharaohהִתְפָּאֵרhit/pa/ERhave this gloryעָלַיa/LAYover meלְמָתַיle/ma/TAYwhenאַעְתִּירa/TIRshall I entreatלְךָle/KHAfor youוְלַעֲבָדֶיךָve/la/a/va/DE/khaand for your servantsוּלְעַמְּךָu/le/am/me/KHAand for your peopleלְהַכְרִיתle/hakh/RITto destroyהַצְפַרְדְּעִיםhats/far/de/IMthe frogsמִמְּךָmim/me/KHAfrom youוּמִבָּתֶּיךָu/mib/bat/TE/khaand from your housesרַקrakonlyבַּיְאֹרBay/ORin the Nileתִּשָּׁאַרְנָה׃tish/sha/AR/nathat they may remain

   And Moses said unto Pharaoh, Glory over me: when shall I intreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses, that they may remain in the river only?

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidלְמָחָרle/ma/CHARtomorrowוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidכִּדְבָרְךָkid/va/re/KHAbe it according to your wordלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatתֵּדַעte/DAyou may knowכִּי־אֵיןki-enthat there is noneכַּיהֹוָהke-Adonailike the LORDאֱלֹהֵינוּ׃e/lo/HE/nuour God

   And he said, To morrow. And he said, Be it according to thy word: that thou mayest know that there is none like unto the LORD our God.

   וְסָרוּve/sa/RUand shall departהַצְפַרְדְּעִיםhats/far/de/IMthe frogsמִמְּךָmim/me/KHAfrom youוּמִבָּתֶּיךָu/mib/bat/TE/khaand from your housesוּמֵעֲבָדֶיךָu/me/a/va/DE/khaand from your servantsוּמֵעַמֶּךָu/me/am/ME/khaand from your peopleרַקrakonlyבַּיְאֹרBay/ORin the Nileתִּשָּׁאַרְנָה׃tish/sha/AR/nathey shall remain

   And the frogs shall depart from thee, and from thy houses, and from thy servants, and from thy people; they shall remain in the river only.

   וַיֵּצֵאvay/ye/TSEand went outמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesוְאַהֲרֹןve/A/ha/RONand Aaronמֵעִםme/IMfromפַּרְעֹהPar/OPharaohוַיִּצְעַקvay/yits/AKand criedמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאֶל־יְהֹוָהel-Adonaito the LORDעַל־דְּבַרal-de/VARbecause ofהַצְפַרְדְּעִיםhats/far/de/IMthe frogsאֲשֶׁר־שָׂםa/SHER-samwhich he had broughtלְפַרְעֹה׃le/Far/Oagainst Pharaoh

   And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh: and Moses cried unto the LORD because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh.

   וַיַּעַשׂvay/YA/asand didיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDכִּדְבַרkid/VARaccording to the word ofמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesוַיָּמֻתוּvay/ya/MU/tuand diedהַצְפַרְדְּעִיםhats/far/de/IMthe frogsמִן־הַבָּתִּיםmin-hab/bat/TIMout of the housesמִן־הַחֲצֵרֹתmin-ha/cha/tse/ROTout of the courtsוּמִן־הַשָּׂדֹת׃u/MIN-has/sa/DOTand out of the fields

   And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the villages, and out of the fields.

10. 10

    וַיִּצְבְּרוּvay/yits/be/RUand they gatheredאֹתָםo/TAMthemחֳמָרִםcho/ma/RIMheapsחֳמָרִםcho/ma/RIMheapsוַתִּבְאַשׁvat/tiv/ASHand stankהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe land

    And they gathered them together upon heaps: and the land stank.

11. 11

    וַיַּרְאvay/YARand sawפַּרְעֹהPar/OPharaohכִּיkithatהָיְתָהha/ye/TAthere wasהָרְוָחָהha/re/va/CHArespiteוְהַכְבֵּדve/hakh/BEDhe hardenedאֶת־לִבּוֹet-lib/BOhis heartוְלֹאve/LOand notשָׁמַעsha/MAhe hearkenedאֲלֵהֶםa/le/HEMto themכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasדִּבֶּרdib/BERhad saidיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesאֱמֹרe/MORsayאֶל־אַהֲרֹןel-A/ha/RONto Aaronנְטֵהne/TEstretch outאֶת־מַטְּךָet-mat/te/KHAyour staffוְהַךְve/HAKHand smiteאֶת־עֲפַרet-a/FARthe dust ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthוְהָיָהve/ha/YAthat it may becomeלְכִנִּםle/khin/NIMgnatsבְּכׇל־אֶרֶץbe/KHOL-E/retsthroughout all the land ofמִצְרָיִם׃Mits/RA/yimEgypt

    And the LORD said unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch out thy rod, and smite the dust of the land, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

13. 13

    וַיַּעֲשׂוּ־כֵןvay/ya/a/SU-khenand they did soוַיֵּטvay/YETand stretched outאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONAaronאֶת־יָדוֹet-ya/DOhis handבְמַטֵּהוּve/mat/TE/huwith his staffוַיַּךְvay/YAKHand smoteאֶת־עֲפַרet-a/FARthe dust ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthוַתְּהִיvat/te/HIand there wereהַכִּנָּםhak/kin/NAMgnatsבָּאָדָםba/a/DAMupon manוּבַבְּהֵמָהu/vab/be/he/MAand upon beastכׇּל־עֲפַרkol-a/FARall the dust ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthהָיָהha/YAbecameכִנִּיםkhin/NIMgnatsבְּכׇל־אֶרֶץbe/KHOL-E/retsthroughout all the land ofמִצְרָיִם׃Mits/RA/yimEgypt

    And they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

14. 14

    וַיַּעֲשׂוּ־כֵןvay/ya/a/SU-khenand did soהַחַרְטֻמִּיםha/char/tum/MIMthe magiciansבְּלָטֵיהֶםbe/la/te/HEMwith their enchantmentsלְהוֹצִיאle/ho/TSIto bring forthאֶת־הַכִּנִּיםet-hak/kin/NIMthe gnatsוְלֹאve/LObut notיָכֹלוּya/KHO/luthey couldוַתְּהִיvat/te/HIso there wereהַכִּנָּםhak/kin/NAMgnatsבָּאָדָםba/a/DAMupon manוּבַבְּהֵמָה׃u/vab/be/he/MAand upon beast

    And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not: so there were lice upon man, and upon beast.

15. 15

    וַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidהַחַרְטֻמִּםha/char/tum/MIMthe magiciansאֶל־פַּרְעֹהel-Par/Oto Pharaohאֶצְבַּעets/BAthe finger ofאֱלֹהִיםe/lo/HIMGodהִואhivthis isוַיֶּחֱזַקvay/ye/che/ZAKand was hardenedלֵב־פַּרְעֹהLev-par/OPharaoh's heartוְלֹא־שָׁמַעve/LO-sha/MAand he hearkened notאֲלֵהֶםa/le/HEMto themכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasדִּבֶּרdib/BERhad saidיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

    Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.

16. 16

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesהַשְׁכֵּםhash/KEMrise earlyבַּבֹּקֶרbab/BO/kerin the morningוְהִתְיַצֵּבve/hit/yats/TSEVand standלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeפַרְעֹהFar/OPharaohהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdיוֹצֵאyo/TSEhe comes forthהַמָּיְמָהham/MAY/mato the waterוְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand sayאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himכֹּהkothusאָמַרa/MARsaysיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDשַׁלַּחshal/LACHlet goעַמִּיam/MImy peopleוְיַעַבְדֻנִי׃ve/ya/av/DU/nithat they may serve me

    And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he cometh forth to the water; and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

17. 17

    כִּיkielseאִם־אֵינְךָim-e/ne/KHAif you will notמְשַׁלֵּחַme/shal/LE/achlet goאֶת־עַמִּיet-am/MImy peopleהִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iמַשְׁלִיחַmash/LI/achwill sendבְּךָbe/KHAupon youוּבַעֲבָדֶיךָu/va/a/va/DE/khaand upon your servantsוּבְעַמְּךָu/ve/am/me/KHAand upon your peopleוּבְבָתֶּיךָu/ve/vat/TE/khaand into your housesאֶת־הֶעָרֹבet-he/a/ROVthe swarmוּמָלְאוּu/ma/le/Uand shall be full ofבָּתֵּיbat/TEthe houses ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptאֶת־הֶעָרֹבet-he/a/ROVthe swarmוְגַםve/GAMand alsoהָאֲדָמָהha/a/da/MAthe groundאֲשֶׁר־הֵםa/SHER-hemwhereon they areעָלֶיהָ׃a/LE/haupon it

    Else, if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are.

18. 18

    וְהִפְלֵיתִיve/hif/le/TIand I will severבַיּוֹםvay/YOMin the dayהַהוּאha/HUthatאֶת־אֶרֶץet-E/retsthe land ofגֹּשֶׁןGO/shenGoshenאֲשֶׁרa/SHERin whichעַמִּיam/MImy peopleעֹמֵדo/MEDdwellsעָלֶיהָa/LE/haupon itלְבִלְתִּיle/vil/TIthat noהֱיוֹת־שָׁםhe/YOT-shambe thereעָרֹבa/ROVa swarmלְמַעַןle/MA/anto the endתֵּדַעte/DAyou may knowכִּיkithatאֲנִיa/NIIיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבְּקֶרֶבbe/KE/revin the midst ofהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe land

    And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.

19. 19

    וְשַׂמְתִּיve/sam/TIand I will putפְדֻתfe/DUTa divisionבֵּיןbenbetweenעַמִּיam/MImy peopleוּבֵיןu/VENand betweenעַמֶּךָam/ME/khayour peopleלְמָחָרle/ma/CHARtomorrowיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beהָאֹתha/OTthe signהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

    And I will put a division between my people and thy people: to morrow shall this sign be.

20. 20

    וַיַּעַשׂvay/YA/asand didיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDכֵּןkensoוַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand cameעָרֹבa/ROVswarmsכָּבֵדka/VEDgrievousבֵּיתָהBE/tainto the house ofפַרְעֹהFar/OPharaohוּבֵיתu/VETand into the house ofעֲבָדָיוa/va/DAYVhis servantsוּבְכׇל־אֶרֶץu/ve/KHOL-E/retsand in all the land ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptתִּשָּׁחֵתtish/sha/CHETwas corruptedהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe landמִפְּנֵיmip/pe/NEby reason ofהֶעָרֹב׃he/a/ROVthe swarm

    And the LORD did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants' houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies.

21. 21

    וַיִּקְרָאvay/yik/RAand calledפַרְעֹהFar/OPharaohאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesוּלְאַהֲרֹןu/Le/a/ha/RONand for Aaronוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidלְכוּle/KHUgoזִבְחוּziv/CHUsacrificeלֵאלֹהֵיכֶםle/lo/he/KHEMto your Godבָּאָרֶץ׃ba/A/retsin the land

    And Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, Go ye, sacrifice to your God in the land.

22. 22

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesלֹאlonotנָכוֹןna/KHONmeetלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto doכֵּןkensoכִּיkiforתּוֹעֲבַתto/a/VATthe abomination ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimthe Egyptiansנִזְבַּחniz/BACHwe shall sacrificeלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDאֱלֹהֵינוּe/lo/HE/nuour Godהֵןhenloנִזְבַּחniz/BACHwe shall sacrificeאֶת־תּוֹעֲבַתet-to/a/VATthe abomination ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimthe Egyptiansלְעֵינֵיהֶםle/e/ne/HEMbefore their eyesוְלֹאve/LOand notיִסְקְלֻנוּ׃yis/ke/LU/nuwill they stone us

    And Moses said, It is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God: lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us?

23. 23

    דֶּרֶךְDE/rekha journey ofשְׁלֹשֶׁתshe/LO/shetthreeיָמִיםya/MIMdaysנֵלֵךְne/LEKHwe will goבַּמִּדְבָּרbam/mid/BARin the wildernessוְזָבַחְנוּve/za/VACH/nuand sacrificeלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDאֱלֹהֵינוּe/lo/HE/nuour Godכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasיֹאמַרyo/MARHe shall commandאֵלֵינוּ׃e/LE/nuus

    We will go three days' journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the LORD our God, as he shall command us.

24. 24

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidפַּרְעֹהPar/OPharaohאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIאֲשַׁלַּחa/shal/LACHwill let goאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouוּזְבַחְתֶּםu/ze/vach/TEMthat you may sacrificeלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDאֱלֹהֵיכֶםe/lo/he/KHEMyour Godבַּמִּדְבָּרbam/mid/BARin the wildernessרַקrakonlyהַרְחֵקhar/CHEKfarלֹא־תַרְחִיקוּlo-tar/CHI/kuyou shall not go farלָלֶכֶתla/LE/khetto goהַעְתִּירוּha/TI/ruentreatבַּעֲדִי׃ba/a/DIfor me

    And Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that ye may sacrifice to the LORD your God in the wilderness; only ye shall not go very far away: intreat for me.

25. 25

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIיוֹצֵאyo/TSEgo outמֵעִמָּךְme/im/MAKHfrom youוְהַעְתַּרְתִּיve/ha/tar/TIand I will entreatאֶל־יְהֹוָהel-Adonaito the LORDוְסָרve/SARthat may departהֶעָרֹבhe/a/ROVthe swarmמִפַּרְעֹהmip/Par/Ofrom Pharaohמֵעֲבָדָיוme/a/va/DAYVfrom his servantsוּמֵעַמּוֹu/me/am/MOand from his peopleמָחָרma/CHARtomorrowרַקrakonlyאַל־יֹסֵףal-yo/SEFlet not againפַּרְעֹהPar/OPharaohהָתֵלha/TELdeal deceitfullyלְבִלְתִּיle/vil/TIin notשַׁלַּחshal/LACHletting goאֶת־הָעָםet-ha/AMthe peopleלִזְבֹּחַliz/BO/achto sacrificeלַיהֹוָה׃la-Adonaito the LORD

    And Moses said, Behold, I go out from thee, and I will intreat the LORD that the swarms of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, to morrow: but let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to the LORD.

26. 26

    וַיֵּצֵאvay/ye/TSEand went outמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesמֵעִםme/IMfromפַּרְעֹהPar/OPharaohוַיֶּעְתַּרvay/ye/TARand entreatedאֶל־יְהֹוָה׃el-Adonaito the LORD

    And Moses went out from Pharaoh, and intreated the LORD.

27. 27

    וַיַּעַשׂvay/YA/asand didיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDכִּדְבַרkid/VARaccording to the word ofמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesוַיָּסַרvay/YA/sarand He removedהֶעָרֹבhe/a/ROVthe swarmמִפַּרְעֹהmip/Par/Ofrom Pharaohמֵעֲבָדָיוme/a/va/DAYVfrom his servantsוּמֵעַמּוֹu/me/am/MOand from his peopleלֹאlonotנִשְׁאַרnish/ARremainedאֶחָד׃e/CHADone

    And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people; there remained not one.

28. 28

    וַיַּכְבֵּדvay/yakh/BEDand hardenedפַּרְעֹהPar/OPharaohאֶת־לִבּוֹet-lib/BOhis heartגַּםgamalsoבַּפַּעַםbap/PA/amat the timeהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisוְלֹאve/LOand notשִׁלַּחshil/LACHwould he let goאֶת־הָעָם׃et-ha/AMthe people

    And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go.
