   Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.

   And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD:

   וָאֵרָאva/e/RAand I appearedאֶל־אַבְרָהָםel-Av/ra/HAMto Abrahamאֶל־יִצְחָקel-Yits/CHAKto Isaacוְאֶל־יַעֲקֹבve/EL-ya/a/KOVand to Jacobבְּאֵלbe/ELas GodשַׁדָּיShad/DAYAlmightyוּשְׁמִיu/she/MIbut by my nameיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלֹאlonotנוֹדַעְתִּיno/DA/tiwas I knownלָהֶם׃la/HEMto them

   And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.

   וְגַםve/GAMand alsoהֲקִמֹתִיha/ki/MO/tiI have establishedאֶת־בְּרִיתִיet-be/ri/TImy covenantאִתָּםit/TAMwith themלָתֵתla/TETto giveלָהֶםla/HEMto themאֶת־אֶרֶץet-E/retsthe land ofכְּנָעַןKe/NA/anCanaanאֵת־אֶרֶץet-E/retsthe land ofמְגֻרֵיהֶםme/gu/re/HEMtheir sojourningsאֲשֶׁר־גָּרוּa/SHER-GA/ruwherein they sojournedבָהּ׃vain it

   And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.

   וְגַםve/GAMand alsoאֲנִיa/NIIשָׁמַעְתִּיsha/MA/tihave heardאֶת־נַאֲקַתet-na/a/KATthe groaning ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimthe Egyptiansמַעֲבִדִיםma/a/vi/DIMkeep in bondageאֹתָםo/TAMthemוָאֶזְכֹּרva/ez/KORand I rememberedאֶת־בְּרִיתִי׃et-be/ri/TImy covenant

   And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.

   לָכֵןla/KHENthereforeאֱמֹרe/MORsayלִבְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלliv/NE-Yis/ra/ELto the children of Israelאֲנִיa/NIIיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוְהוֹצֵאתִיve/ho/tse/TIand I will bring outאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouמִתַּחַתmit/TA/chatfrom underסִבְלֹתsiv/LOTthe burdens ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimthe Egyptiansוְהִצַּלְתִּיve/hits/tsal/TIand I will deliverאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouמֵעֲבֹדָתָםme/a/vo/da/TAMfrom their bondageוְגָאַלְתִּיve/ga/al/TIand I will redeemאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouבִּזְרוֹעַbiz/RO/awith an armנְטוּיָהne/tu/YAoutstretchedוּבִשְׁפָטִיםu/vish/fa/TIMand with judgmentsגְּדֹלִים׃ge/do/LIMgreat

   Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:

   And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

   וְהֵבֵאתִיve/he/ve/TIand I will bringאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouאֶל־הָאָרֶץel-ha/A/retsto the landאֲשֶׁרa/SHERconcerning whichנָשָׂאתִיna/SA/tiI lifted upאֶת־יָדִיet-ya/DImy handלָתֵתla/TETto giveאֹתָהּo/TAitלְאַבְרָהָםle/Av/ra/HAMto Abrahamלְיִצְחָקle/Yits/CHAKto Isaacוּלְיַעֲקֹבu/Le/ya/a/KOVand to Jacobוְנָתַתִּיve/na/tat/TIand I will giveאֹתָהּo/TAitלָכֶםla/KHEMto youמוֹרָשָׁהmo/ra/SHAfor a heritageאֲנִיa/NIIיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

   And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the LORD.

   וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesכֵּןkensoאֶל־בְּנֵיel-be/NEto the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוְלֹאve/LObut notשָׁמְעוּsha/me/Uthey hearkenedאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesמִקֹּצֶרmik/KO/tserfor shortness ofרוּחַRU/achspiritוּמֵעֲבֹדָהu/me/a/vo/DAand for bondageקָשָׁה׃ka/SHAhard

   And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesלֵּאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

    בֹּאbogo inדַבֵּרdab/BERspeakאֶל־פַּרְעֹהel-Par/Oto PharaohמֶלֶךְME/lekhthe king ofמִצְרָיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptוִישַׁלַּחvi/shal/LACHthat he let goאֶת־בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלet-Be/NE-yis/ra/ELthe children of Israelמֵאַרְצוֹ׃me/ar/TSOout of his land

    Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.

12. 12

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingהֵןhenbeholdבְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלbe/NE-yis/ra/ELthe children of Israelלֹא־שָׁמְעוּlo-sha/me/Uhave not hearkenedאֵלַיe/LAYto meוְאֵיךְve/EKHand howיִשְׁמָעֵנִיyish/ma/E/nishall hear meפַרְעֹהFar/OPharaohוַאֲנִיva/a/NIwho amעֲרַלa/RALuncircumcised ofשְׂפָתָיִם׃se/fa/TA/yimlips

    And Moses spake before the LORD, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips?

13. 13

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesוְאֶל־אַהֲרֹןve/EL-a/ha/RONand to Aaronוַיְצַוֵּםvay/tsav/VEMand gave them a chargeאֶל־בְּנֵיel-be/NEto the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוְאֶל־פַּרְעֹהve/EL-par/Oand to PharaohמֶלֶךְME/lekhthe king ofמִצְרָיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptלְהוֹצִיאle/ho/TSIto bring outאֶת־בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלet-Be/NE-yis/ra/ELthe children of Israelמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsout of the land ofמִצְרָיִם׃Mits/RA/yimEgypt

    And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

    אֵלֶּהEL/letheseרָאשֵׁיra/SHEthe heads ofבֵית־אֲבֹתָםvet-a/vo/TAMtheir fathers' housesבְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofרְאוּבֵןRe/u/VENReubenבְּכֹרbe/KHORthe firstborn ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelחֲנוֹךְCha/NOKHHanochוּפַלּוּאu/Fal/LUand PalluחֶצְרֹןChets/RONHezronוְכַרְמִיve/Khar/MIand CarmiאֵלֶּהEL/letheseמִשְׁפְּחֹתmish/pe/CHOTthe families ofרְאוּבֵן׃Re/u/VENReuben

    These be the heads of their fathers' houses: The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel; Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these be the families of Reuben.

    וּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the sons ofשִׁמְעוֹןShim/ONSimeonיְמוּאֵלYe/mu/ELJemuelוְיָמִיןve/Ya/MINand Jaminוְאֹהַדve/O/hadand Ohadוְיָכִיןve/Ya/KHINand Jachinוְצֹחַרve/TSO/charand Zoharוְשָׁאוּלve/Sha/ULand Shaulבֶּן־הַכְּנַעֲנִיתben-Hak/ke/na/a/NITthe son of the Canaanite womanאֵלֶּהEL/letheseמִשְׁפְּחֹתmish/pe/CHOTthe families ofשִׁמְעוֹן׃Shim/ONSimeon

    And the sons of Simeon; Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanitish woman: these are the families of Simeon.

16. 16

    וְאֵלֶּהve/EL/leand theseשְׁמוֹתshe/MOTthe names ofבְּנֵי־לֵוִיbe/NE-le/VIthe sons of Leviלְתֹלְדֹתָםle/tol/do/TAMby their generationsגֵּרְשׁוֹןGer/SHONGershonוּקְהָתu/Ke/HATand Kohathוּמְרָרִיu/Me/ra/RIand Merariוּשְׁנֵיu/she/NEand the years ofחַיֵּיchay/YEthe life ofלֵוִיLe/VILeviשֶׁבַעSHE/vasevenוּשְׁלֹשִׁיםu/she/lo/SHIMand thirtyוּמְאַתu/me/ATand one hundredשָׁנָה׃sha/NAyears

    And these are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari: and the years of the life of Levi were an hundred thirty and seven years.

    בְּנֵיbe/NEthe sons ofגֵרְשׁוֹןGer/SHONGershonלִבְנִיLiv/NILibniוְשִׁמְעִיve/Shim/Iand Shimeiלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם׃le/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their families

    The sons of Gershon; Libni, and Shimi, according to their families.

18. 18

    וּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the sons ofקְהָתKe/HATKohathעַמְרָםAm/RAMAmramוְיִצְהָרve/Yits/HARand Izharוְחֶבְרוֹןve/Chev/RONand Hebronוְעֻזִּיאֵלve/Uz/zi/ELand Uzzielוּשְׁנֵיu/she/NEand the years ofחַיֵּיchay/YEthe life ofקְהָתKe/HATKohathשָׁלֹשׁsha/LOSHthreeוּשְׁלֹשִׁיםu/she/lo/SHIMand thirtyוּמְאַתu/me/ATand one hundredשָׁנָה׃sha/NAyears

    And the sons of Kohath; Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel: and the years of the life of Kohath were an hundred thirty and three years.

19. 19

    וּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the sons ofמְרָרִיMe/ra/RIMerariמַחְלִיMach/LIMahliוּמוּשִׁיu/Mu/SHIand MushiאֵלֶּהEL/letheseמִשְׁפְּחֹתmish/pe/CHOTthe families ofהַלֵּוִיhal/Le/VIthe Levitesלְתֹלְדֹתָם׃le/tol/do/TAMby their generations

    And the sons of Merari; Mahali and Mushi: these are the families of Levi according to their generations.

20. 20

    וַיִּקַּחvay/yik/KACHand tookעַמְרָםAm/RAMAmramאֶת־יוֹכֶבֶדet-Yo/KHE/vedJochebedדֹּדָתוֹdo/da/TOhis father's sisterלוֹloto himלְאִשָּׁהle/ish/SHAto wifeוַתֵּלֶדvat/TE/ledand boreלוֹlohimאֶת־אַהֲרֹןet-A/ha/RONAaronוְאֶת־מֹשֶׁהve/ET-mo/SHEand Mosesוּשְׁנֵיu/she/NEand the years ofחַיֵּיchay/YEthe life ofעַמְרָםAm/RAMAmramשֶׁבַעSHE/vasevenוּשְׁלֹשִׁיםu/she/lo/SHIMand thirtyוּמְאַתu/me/ATand one hundredשָׁנָה׃sha/NAyears

    And Amram took him Jochebed his father's sister to wife; and she bare him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram were an hundred and thirty and seven years.

    וּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the sons ofיִצְהָרYits/HARIzharקֹרַחKO/rachKorahוָנֶפֶגva/NE/fegand Nephegוְזִכְרִי׃ve/Zikh/RIand Zichri

    And the sons of Izhar; Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.

22. 22

    וּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the sons ofעֻזִּיאֵלUz/zi/ELUzzielמִישָׁאֵלMi/sha/ELMishaelוְאֶלְצָפָןve/El/tsa/FANand Elzaphanוְסִתְרִי׃ve/Sit/RIand Sithri

    And the sons of Uzziel; Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Zithri.

23. 23

    וַיִּקַּחvay/yik/KACHand tookאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONAaronאֶת־אֱלִישֶׁבַעet-E/li/SHE/vaElishebaבַּת־עַמִּינָדָבbat-Am/mi/na/DAVthe daughter of Amminadabאֲחוֹתa/CHOTthe sister ofנַחְשׁוֹןNach/SHONNahshonלוֹloto himלְאִשָּׁהle/ish/SHAto wifeוַתֵּלֶדvat/TE/ledand boreלוֹlohimאֶת־נָדָבet-Na/DAVNadabוְאֶת־אֲבִיהוּאve/ET-a/vi/HUand Abihuאֶת־אֶלְעָזָרet-El/a/ZAREleazarוְאֶת־אִיתָמָר׃ve/ET-i/ta/MARand Ithamar

    And Aaron took him Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to wife; and she bare him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

    וּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the sons ofקֹרַחKO/rachKorahאַסִּירAs/SIRAssirוְאֶלְקָנָהve/El/ka/NAand Elkanahוַאֲבִיאָסָףva/A/vi/a/SAFand AbiasaphאֵלֶּהEL/letheseמִשְׁפְּחֹתmish/pe/CHOTthe families ofהַקׇּרְחִי׃hak/Kor/CHIthe Korahites

    And the sons of Korah; Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these are the families of the Korhites.

25. 25

    וְאֶלְעָזָרve/El/a/ZARand Eleazarבֶּן־אַהֲרֹןben-A/ha/RONAaron's sonלָקַח־לוֹla/KACH-lotook himמִבְּנוֹתmib/be/NOTone of the daughters ofפּוּטִיאֵלPu/ti/ELPutielלוֹloto himלְאִשָּׁהle/ish/SHAto wifeוַתֵּלֶדvat/TE/ledand boreלוֹlohimאֶת־פִּינְחָסet-Pi/ne/CHASPhinehasאֵלֶּהEL/letheseרָאשֵׁיra/SHEthe heads ofאֲבוֹתa/VOTthe fathers ofהַלְוִיִּםHal/viy/YIMthe Levitesלְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם׃le/mish/pe/cho/TAMby their families

    And Eleazar Aaron's son took him one of the daughters of Putiel to wife; and she bare him Phinehas: these are the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families.

    הוּאhuthese areאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONAaronוּמֹשֶׁהu/Mo/SHEand Mosesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomאָמַרa/MARsaidיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלָהֶםla/HEMto themהוֹצִיאוּho/TSI/ubring outאֶת־בְּנֵיet-be/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsout of the land ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptעַל־צִבְאֹתָם׃al-tsiv/o/TAMby their hosts

    These are that Aaron and Moses, to whom the LORD said, Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies.

27. 27

    הֵםhemthese are theyהַמְדַבְּרִיםham/dab/be/RIMwho spokeאֶל־פַּרְעֹהel-Par/Oto Pharaohמֶלֶךְ־מִצְרַיִםME/lekh-Mits/RA/yimthe king of Egyptלְהוֹצִיאle/ho/TSIto bring outאֶת־בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלet-Be/NE-yis/ra/ELthe children of Israelמִמִּצְרָיִםmim/Mits/RA/yimout of Egyptהוּאhuthese areמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesוְאַהֲרֹן׃ve/A/ha/RONand Aaron

    These are they which spake to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt: these are that Moses and Aaron.

28. 28

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passבְּיוֹםbe/YOMon the dayדִּבֶּרdib/BERwhen spokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofמִצְרָיִם׃Mits/RA/yimEgypt

    And it came to pass on the day when the LORD spake unto Moses in the land of Egypt,

29. 29

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesלֵּאמֹרle/MORsayingאֲנִיa/NIIיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDדַּבֵּרdab/BERspeakאֶל־פַּרְעֹהel-Par/Oto PharaohמֶלֶךְME/lekhthe king ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptאֵת־כׇּל־אֲשֶׁרet-kol-a/SHERall thatאֲנִיa/NIIדֹּבֵרdo/VERspeakאֵלֶיךָ׃e/LE/khato you

    That the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, I am the LORD: speak thou unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto thee.

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDהֵןhenbeholdאֲנִיa/NIIעֲרַלa/RALuncircumcised ofשְׂפָתַיִםse/fa/TA/yimlipsוְאֵיךְve/EKHand howיִשְׁמַעyish/MAshall hearkenאֵלַיe/LAYto meפַּרְעֹה׃Par/OPharaoh

    And Moses said before the LORD, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?
