   וְאֶל־מֹשֶׁהve/EL-mo/SHEand to Mosesאָמַרa/MARHe saidעֲלֵהa/LEgo upאֶל־יְהֹוָהel-Adonaito the LORDאַתָּהat/TAyouוְאַהֲרֹןve/A/ha/RONand AaronנָדָבNa/DAVNadabוַאֲבִיהוּאva/A/vi/HUand Abihuוְשִׁבְעִיםve/shiv/IMand seventyמִזִּקְנֵיmiz/zik/NEof the elders ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוְהִשְׁתַּחֲוִיתֶםve/hish/ta/cha/vi/TEMand worshipמֵרָחֹק׃me/ra/CHOKafar off

   And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off.

   וְנִגַּשׁve/nig/GASHand shall come nearמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesלְבַדּוֹle/vad/DOaloneאֶל־יְהֹוָהel-Adonaito the LORDוְהֵםve/HEMbut theyלֹאlonotיִגָּשׁוּyig/GA/shushall come nearוְהָעָםve/ha/AMand the peopleלֹאlonotיַעֲלוּya/a/LUshall go upעִמּוֹ׃im/MOwith him

   And Moses alone shall come near the LORD: but they shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go up with him.

   וַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand cameמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesוַיְסַפֵּרvay/sap/PERand toldלָעָםla/AMthe peopleאֵת־כׇּל־דִּבְרֵיet-kol-div/REall the words ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוְאֵתve/ETandכׇּל־הַמִּשְׁפָּטִיםkol-ham/mish/pa/TIMall the judgmentsוַיַּעַןvay/YA/anand answeredכׇּל־הָעָםkol-ha/AMall the peopleקוֹלkolwith voiceאֶחָדe/CHADoneוַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidכׇּל־הַדְּבָרִיםkol-had/de/va/RIMall the wordsאֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּרa/SHER-dib/BERwhich has spokenיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDנַעֲשֶׂה׃na/a/SEwe will do

   And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.

   וַיִּכְתֹּבvay/yikh/TOVand wroteמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאֵת־כׇּל־דִּבְרֵיet-kol-div/REall the words ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDוַיַּשְׁכֵּםvay/yash/KEMand rose earlyבַּבֹּקֶרbab/BO/kerin the morningוַיִּבֶןvay/YI/venand builtמִזְבֵּחַmiz/BE/achan altarתַּחַתTA/chatunderהָהָרha/HARthe mountainוּשְׁתֵּים־עֶשְׂרֵהush/TEM-es/REand twelveמַצֵּבָהmats/tse/VApillarsלִשְׁנֵים־עָשָׂרlish/NEM-a/SARfor twelveשִׁבְטֵיshiv/TEthe tribes ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

   And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.

   וַיִּשְׁלַחvay/yish/LACHand sentאֶת־נַעֲרֵיet-na/a/REthe young men ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוַיַּעֲלוּvay/ya/a/LUwho offeredעֹלֹתo/LOTburnt offeringsוַיִּזְבְּחוּvay/yiz/be/CHUand sacrificedזְבָחִיםze/va/CHIMsacrificesשְׁלָמִיםshe/la/MIMpeace offeringsלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDפָּרִים׃pa/RIMof oxen

   And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.

6. 6

   וַיִּקַּחvay/yik/KACHand tookמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesחֲצִיcha/TSIhalfהַדָּםhad/DAMthe bloodוַיָּשֶׂםvay/YA/semand put itבָּאַגָּנֹתba/ag/ga/NOTin basinsוַחֲצִיva/cha/TSIand halfהַדָּםhad/DAMthe bloodזָרַקza/RAKhe sprinkledעַל־הַמִּזְבֵּחַ׃al-ham/miz/BE/achupon the altar

   And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.

   וַיִּקַּחvay/yik/KACHand tookסֵפֶרSE/ferthe book ofהַבְּרִיתhab/be/RITthe covenantוַיִּקְרָאvay/yik/RAand readבְּאׇזְנֵיbe/oz/NEin the hearing ofהָעָםha/AMthe peopleוַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidכֹּלkolallאֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּרa/SHER-dib/BERthat has saidיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDנַעֲשֶׂהna/a/SEwe will doוְנִשְׁמָע׃ve/nish/MAand we will hear

   And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.

   וַיִּקַּחvay/yik/KACHand tookמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאֶת־הַדָּםet-had/DAMthe bloodוַיִּזְרֹקvay/yiz/ROKand sprinkled itעַל־הָעָםal-ha/AMon the peopleוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdדַם־הַבְּרִיתdam-hab/be/RITthe blood of the covenantאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichכָּרַתka/RATmadeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDעִמָּכֶםim/ma/KHEMwith youעַלalconcerningכׇּל־הַדְּבָרִיםkol-had/de/va/RIMall the wordsהָאֵלֶּה׃ha/EL/lethese

   And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.

   וַיַּעַלvay/YA/althen went upמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesוְאַהֲרֹןve/A/ha/RONand AaronנָדָבNa/DAVNadabוַאֲבִיהוּאva/A/vi/HUand Abihuוְשִׁבְעִיםve/shiv/IMand seventyמִזִּקְנֵיmiz/zik/NEof the elders ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

   Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:

10. 10

    וַיִּרְאוּvay/yir/Uand they sawאֵת־אֱלֹהֵיet-e/lo/HEthe God ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוְתַחַתve/TA/chatand underרַגְלָיוrag/LAYVHis feetכְּמַעֲשֵׂהke/ma/a/SEas it were the work ofלִבְנַתliv/NATa pavement ofהַסַּפִּירhas/sap/PIRsapphireוּכְעֶצֶםu/khe/E/tsemand as the veryהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimheavenלָטֹהַר׃la/TO/harfor clearness

    And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.

11. 11

    וְאֶל־אֲצִילֵיve/EL-a/tsi/LEand upon the nobles ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelלֹאlonotשָׁלַחsha/LACHHe laidיָדוֹya/DOHis handוַיֶּחֱזוּvay/YE/che/zuand they beheldאֶת־הָאֱלֹהִיםet-ha/e/lo/HIMGodוַיֹּאכְלוּvay/yo/khe/LUand ateוַיִּשְׁתּוּ׃vay/yish/TUand drank

    And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.

12. 12

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesעֲלֵהa/LEgo upאֵלַיe/LAYto meהָהָרָהha/HA/rainto the mountוֶהְיֵה־שָׁםveh/YE-shamand be thereוְאֶתְּנָהve/et/te/NAand I will giveלְךָle/KHAyouאֶת־לֻחֹתet-lu/CHOTthe tablets ofהָאֶבֶןha/E/venstoneוְהַתּוֹרָהve/hat/to/RAand the lawוְהַמִּצְוָהve/ham/mits/VAand the commandmentאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichכָּתַבְתִּיka/TAV/tiI have writtenלְהוֹרֹתָם׃le/ho/ro/TAMto teach them

    And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.

13. 13

    וַיָּקׇםvay/YA/komand rose upמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesוִיהוֹשֻׁעַVi/ho/SHU/aand Joshuaמְשָׁרְתוֹme/sha/re/TOhis ministerוַיַּעַלvay/YA/aland went upמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאֶל־הַרel-harinto the mount ofהָאֱלֹהִים׃ha/e/lo/HIMGod

    And Moses rose up, and his minister Joshua: and Moses went up into the mount of God.

14. 14

    וְאֶל־הַזְּקֵנִיםve/EL-haz/ze/ke/NIMand to the eldersאָמַרa/MARhe saidשְׁבוּ־לָנוּshe/VU-LA/nutarry for usבָזֶהva/ZEhereעַדaduntilאֲשֶׁר־נָשׁוּבa/SHER-na/SHUVwe come againאֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMto youוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONAaronוְחוּרve/CHURand Hurעִמָּכֶםim/ma/KHEMwith youמִי־בַעַלmi-VA/alwhoever hasדְּבָרִיםde/va/RIMmattersיִגַּשׁyig/GASHlet him comeאֲלֵהֶם׃a/le/HEMto them

    And he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.

15. 15

    וַיַּעַלvay/YA/aland went upמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאֶל־הָהָרel-ha/HARinto the mountוַיְכַסvay/KHASand coveredהֶעָנָןhe/a/NANthe cloudאֶת־הָהָר׃et-ha/HARthe mountain

    And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount.

16. 16

    וַיִּשְׁכֹּןvay/yish/KONand abodeכְּבוֹד־יְהֹוָהke/VOD-Adonaithe glory of the LORDעַל־הַרal-harupon mountסִינַיSi/NAYSinaiוַיְכַסֵּהוּvay/khas/SE/huand covered itהֶעָנָןhe/a/NANthe cloudשֵׁשֶׁתSHE/shetsixיָמִיםya/MIMdaysוַיִּקְרָאvay/yik/RAand He calledאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayהַשְּׁבִיעִיhash/she/vi/Ithe seventhמִתּוֹךְmit/TOKHout of the midst ofהֶעָנָן׃he/a/NANthe cloud

    And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

17. 17

    וּמַרְאֵהu/mar/Eand the appearance ofכְּבוֹדke/VODthe glory ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDכְּאֵשׁke/ESHlike fireאֹכֶלֶתo/KHE/letdevouringבְּרֹאשׁbe/ROSHon the top ofהָהָרha/HARthe mountainלְעֵינֵיle/e/NEin the sight ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

    And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.

18. 18

    וַיָּבֹאvay/ya/VOand cameמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHinto the midst ofהֶעָנָןhe/a/NANthe cloudוַיַּעַלvay/YA/aland went upאֶל־הָהָרel-ha/HARinto the mountוַיְהִיvay/HIand wasמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesבָּהָרba/HARin the mountאַרְבָּעִיםar/ba/IMfortyיוֹםyomdaysוְאַרְבָּעִיםve/ar/ba/IMand fortyלָיְלָה׃LAY/lanights

    And Moses went into the midst of the cloud, and gat him up into the mount: and Moses was in the mount forty days and forty nights.
