    לֹאnotתִשָּׂאyou shall raiseשֵׁמַעa reportשָׁוְאfalseאַל־תָּשֶׁתput notיָדְךָyour handעִם־רָשָׁעwith the wickedלִהְיֹתto beעֵדa witnessחָמָס׃unrighteous

    Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness.

    לֹא־תִהְיֶהyou shall not followאַחֲרֵי־רַבִּיםa multitudeלְרָעֹתto do evilוְלֹא־תַעֲנֶהneither shall you speakעַל־רִבin a causeלִנְטֹתto declineאַחֲרֵיafterרַבִּיםmanyלְהַטֹּת׃to wrest judgment

    Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:

    וְדָלneither a poor manלֹאnotתֶהְדַּרshall you countenanceבְּרִיבוֹ׃in his cause

    Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause.

    כִּיifתִפְגַּעyou meetשׁוֹרan oxאֹיִבְךָyour enemy'sאוֹorחֲמֹרוֹhis donkeyתֹּעֶהgoing astrayהָשֵׁבsurelyתְּשִׁיבֶנּוּyou shall bring it backלוֹ׃to him

    If thou meet thine enemy's ox or his ass going astray, thou shalt surely bring it back to him again.

    כִּי־תִרְאֶהif you seeחֲמוֹרa donkeyשֹׂנַאֲךָof him that hates youרֹבֵץlyingתַּחַתunderמַשָּׂאוֹhis burdenוְחָדַלְתָּand would forbearמֵעֲזֹבto helpלוֹto himעָזֹבsurelyתַּעֲזֹבyou shall helpעִמּוֹ׃with him

    If thou see the ass of him that hateth thee lying under his burden, and wouldest forbear to help him, thou shalt surely help with him.

    לֹאnotתַטֶּהyou shall wrestמִשְׁפַּטthe judgment ofאֶבְיֹנְךָyour poorבְּרִיבוֹ׃in his cause

    Thou shalt not wrest the judgment of thy poor in his cause.

    מִדְּבַר־שֶׁקֶרfrom a false matterתִּרְחָקkeep farוְנָקִיand the innocentוְצַדִּיקand righteousאַל־תַּהֲרֹגslay notכִּיforלֹא־אַצְדִּיקI will not justifyרָשָׁע׃the wicked

    Keep thee far from a false matter; and the innocent and righteous slay thou not: for I will not justify the wicked.

    וְשֹׁחַדand a giftלֹאnotתִקָּחyou shall takeכִּיforהַשֹּׁחַדthe giftיְעַוֵּרblindsפִּקְחִיםthe wiseוִיסַלֵּףand pervertsדִּבְרֵיthe words ofצַדִּיקִים׃the righteous

    And thou shalt take no gift: for the gift blindeth the wise, and perverteth the words of the righteous.

    וְגֵרand a sojournerלֹאnotתִלְחָץshall you oppressוְאַתֶּםfor youיְדַעְתֶּםknowאֶת־נֶפֶשׁthe heart ofהַגֵּרa sojournerכִּי־גֵרִיםbecause sojournersהֱיִיתֶםyou wereבְּאֶרֶץin the land ofמִצְרָיִם׃Egypt

    Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

    וְשֵׁשׁand sixשָׁנִיםyearsתִּזְרַעyou shall sowאֶת־אַרְצֶךָyour landוְאָסַפְתָּand shall gather inאֶת־תְּבוּאָתָהּ׃the fruits thereof

    And six years thou shalt sow thy land, and shalt gather in the fruits thereof:

    וְהַשְּׁבִיעִתbut the seventh yearתִּשְׁמְטֶנָּהyou shall let it restוּנְטַשְׁתָּהּand lie stillוְאָכְלוּthat may eatאֶבְיֹנֵיthe poor ofעַמֶּךָyour peopleוְיִתְרָםand what they leaveתֹּאכַלshall eatחַיַּתthe beasts ofהַשָּׂדֶהthe fieldכֵּן־תַּעֲשֶׂהin like manner you shall dealלְכַרְמְךָwith your vineyardלְזֵיתֶךָ׃and with your oliveyard

    But the seventh year thou shalt let it rest and lie still; that the poor of thy people may eat: and what they leave the beasts of the field shall eat. In like manner thou shalt deal with thy vineyard, and with thy oliveyard.

    שֵׁשֶׁתsixיָמִיםdaysתַּעֲשֶׂהyou shall doמַעֲשֶׂיךָyour worksוּבַיּוֹםand in the dayהַשְּׁבִיעִיthe seventhתִּשְׁבֹּתyou shall restלְמַעַןin order thatיָנוּחַmay restשׁוֹרְךָyour oxוַחֲמֹרֶךָand your donkeyוְיִנָּפֵשׁand may be refreshedבֶּן־אֲמָתְךָthe son of your handmaidוְהַגֵּר׃and the sojourner

    Six days thou shalt do thy work, and on the seventh day thou shalt rest: that thine ox and thine ass may rest, and the son of thy handmaid, and the stranger, may be refreshed.

    וּבְכֹלand in allאֲשֶׁר־אָמַרְתִּיwhich I saidאֲלֵיכֶםunto youתִּשָּׁמֵרוּbe circumspectוְשֵׁםand the name ofאֱלֹהִים־אֲחֵרִיםother godsלֹאnotתַזְכִּירוּmake mention ofלֹאnotיִשָּׁמַעlet it be heardעַל־פִּיךָ׃out of your mouth

    And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

    שָׁלֹשׁthreeרְגָלִיםtimesתָּחֹגyou shall keep a feastלִיunto Meבַּשָּׁנָה׃in the year

    Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.

  15. 15

    אֶת־חַגthe feast ofהַמַּצּוֹתthe unleavened breadתִּשְׁמֹרyou shall keepשִׁבְעַתsevenיָמִיםdaysתֹּאכַלyou will eatמַצּוֹתunleavened breadכַּאֲשֶׁרasצִוִּיתִךָI commanded youלְמוֹעֵדin the time appointed ofחֹדֶשׁthe monthהָאָבִיבAbibכִּי־בוֹfor in itיָצָאתָyou came outמִמִּצְרָיִםfrom Egyptוְלֹא־יֵרָאוּand none shall appearפָנַיbefore Meרֵיקָם׃empty

    Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:)

    וְחַגand the feast ofהַקָּצִירharvestבִּכּוּרֵיthe firstfruits ofמַעֲשֶׂיךָyour worksאֲשֶׁרwhichתִּזְרַעyou will sowבַּשָּׂדֶהin the fieldוְחַגand the feast ofהָאָסִףingatheringבְּצֵאתin the end ofהַשָּׁנָהthe yearבְּאׇסְפְּךָwhen you have gathered inאֶת־מַעֲשֶׂיךָyour worksמִן־הַשָּׂדֶה׃from the field

    And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.

    שָׁלֹשׁthreeפְּעָמִיםtimesבַּשָּׁנָהin the yearיֵרָאֶהshall appearכׇּל־זְכוּרְךָall your malesאֶל־פְּנֵיbeforeהָאָדֹןthe Lordיְהֹוָה׃the LORD

    Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord GOD.

  18. 18

    לֹא־תִזְבַּחyou shall not offerעַל־חָמֵץwith leavenדַּם־זִבְחִיthe blood of My sacrificeוְלֹא־יָלִיןneither shall remainחֵלֶב־חַגִּיthe fat of My feastעַד־בֹּקֶר׃until morning

    Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leavened bread; neither shall the fat of my sacrifice remain until the morning.

  19. 19

    רֵאשִׁיתthe first ofבִּכּוּרֵיthe first fruits ofאַדְמָתְךָyour landתָּבִיאyou shall bringבֵּיתthe house ofיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָyour Godלֹא־תְבַשֵּׁלyou shall not seetheגְּדִיa kidבַּחֲלֵבin the milk ofאִמּוֹ׃his mother

    The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.

  20. 20

    הִנֵּהbeholdאָנֹכִיIשֹׁלֵחַsendמַלְאָךְan Angelלְפָנֶיךָbefore youלִשְׁמׇרְךָto keep youבַּדָּרֶךְby the wayוְלַהֲבִיאֲךָand to bring youאֶל־הַמָּקוֹםunto the placeאֲשֶׁרwhichהֲכִנֹתִי׃I have prepared

    Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

  21. 21

    הִשָּׁמֶרbewareמִפָּנָיוof Himוּשְׁמַעand hearבְּקֹלוֹHis voiceאַל־תַּמֵּרprovoke Him notבּוֹin HimכִּיforלֹאnotיִשָּׂאHe will pardonלְפִשְׁעֲכֶםyour transgressionsכִּיforשְׁמִיMy nameבְּקִרְבּוֹ׃is in Him

    Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.

  22. 22

    כִּיthatאִם־שָׁמוֹעַif diligentlyתִּשְׁמַעyou hearבְּקֹלוֹHis voiceוְעָשִׂיתָand doכֹּלallאֲשֶׁרwhichאֲדַבֵּרI speakוְאָיַבְתִּיthen I will be an enemy untoאֶת־אֹיְבֶיךָyour enemiesוְצַרְתִּיand an adversary untoאֶת־צֹרְרֶיךָ׃your adversaries

    But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.

  23. 23

    כִּי־יֵלֵךְfor shall goמַלְאָכִיMy Angelלְפָנֶיךָbefore youוֶהֱבִיאֲךָand bring you inאֶל־הָאֱמֹרִיto the Amoriteוְהַחִתִּיand the Hittitesוְהַפְּרִזִּיand the Perizziteוְהַכְּנַעֲנִיand the Canaaniteהַחִוִּיthe Hiviteוְהַיְבוּסִיand the Jebusiteוְהִכְחַדְתִּיו׃and I will cut them off

    For mine Angel shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off.

  24. 24

    לֹא־תִשְׁתַּחֲוֶהyou shall not bow downלֵאלֹהֵיהֶםto their godsוְלֹאand notתׇעׇבְדֵםserve themוְלֹאand notתַעֲשֶׂהdoכְּמַעֲשֵׂיהֶםafter their worksכִּיbutהָרֵסutterlyתְּהָרְסֵםyou shall overthrow themוְשַׁבֵּרand quiteתְּשַׁבֵּרbreak downמַצֵּבֹתֵיהֶם׃their images

    Thou shalt not bow down to their gods, nor serve them, nor do after their works: but thou shalt utterly overthrow them, and quite break down their images.

  25. 25

    וַעֲבַדְתֶּםand you will serveאֵת־יְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֵיכֶםyour Godוּבֵרַךְand He shall blessאֶת־לַחְמְךָyour breadוְאֶת־מֵימֶיךָand your waterוַהֲסִרֹתִיand I will take awayמַחֲלָהsicknessמִקִּרְבֶּךָ׃from the midst of you

    And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

  26. 26

    לֹאnotתִהְיֶהshall beמְשַׁכֵּלָהmiscarryingוַעֲקָרָהand barrenבְּאַרְצֶךָin your landאֶת־מִסְפַּרthe number ofיָמֶיךָyour daysאֲמַלֵּא׃I will fulfil

    There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

  27. 27

    אֶת־אֵימָתִיMy fearאֲשַׁלַּחI will sendלְפָנֶיךָbefore youוְהַמֹּתִיand I will destroyאֶת־כׇּל־הָעָםall the peopleאֲשֶׁרwhichתָּבֹאyou shall comeבָּהֶםtoוְנָתַתִּיand I will makeאֶת־כׇּל־אֹיְבֶיךָall your enemiesאֵלֶיךָunto youעֹרֶף׃turn their backs

    I will send my fear before thee, and will destroy all the people to whom thou shalt come, and I will make all thine enemies turn their backs unto thee.

  28. 28

    וְשָׁלַחְתִּיand I will sendאֶת־הַצִּרְעָהthe hornetלְפָנֶיךָbefore youוְגֵרְשָׁהwhich shall drive outאֶת־הַחִוִּיthe Hiviteאֶת־הַכְּנַעֲנִיthe Canaaniteוְאֶת־הַחִתִּיand the Hittitesמִלְּפָנֶיךָ׃from before you

    And I will send hornets before thee, which shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.

  29. 29

    לֹאnotאֲגָרְשֶׁנּוּI will drive them outמִפָּנֶיךָfrom before youבְּשָׁנָהin a yearאֶחָתoneפֶּן־תִּהְיֶהlest becomeהָאָרֶץthe landשְׁמָמָהdesolateוְרַבָּהand multiplyעָלֶיךָupon youחַיַּתthe beast ofהַשָּׂדֶה׃the field

    I will not drive them out from before thee in one year; lest the land become desolate, and the beast of the field multiply against thee.

  30. 30

    מְעַטby littleמְעַטby littleאֲגָרְשֶׁנּוּI will drive them outמִפָּנֶיךָfrom before youעַדuntilאֲשֶׁרwhichתִּפְרֶהyou be increasedוְנָחַלְתָּand inheritאֶת־הָאָרֶץ׃the land

    By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.

  31. 31

    וְשַׁתִּיand I will setאֶת־גְּבֻלְךָyour boundsמִיַּם־סוּףfrom the Red Seaוְעַד־יָםand unto the sea ofפְּלִשְׁתִּיםPhilistinesוּמִמִּדְבָּרand from the wildernessעַד־הַנָּהָרuntil the riverכִּיforאֶתֵּןI will deliverבְּיֶדְכֶםinto your handsאֵת־יֹשְׁבֵיthe inhabitants ofהָאָרֶץthe landוְגֵרַשְׁתָּמוֹand you shall drive them outמִפָּנֶיךָ׃from before you

    And I will set thy bounds from the Red sea even unto the sea of the Philistines, and from the desert unto the river: for I will deliver the inhabitants of the land into your hand; and thou shalt drive them out before thee.

  32. 32

    לֹא־תִכְרֹתyou shall make noלָהֶםto themוְלֵאלֹהֵיהֶםnor with their godsבְּרִית׃covenant

    Thou shalt make no covenant with them, nor with their gods.

  33. 33

    לֹאnotיֵשְׁבוּthey shall dwellבְּאַרְצְךָin your landפֶּן־יַחֲטִיאוּlest they make sinאֹתְךָyouלִיagainst Meכִּיifתַעֲבֹדyou serveאֶת־אֱלֹהֵיהֶםtheir godsכִּי־יִהְיֶהfor it will beלְךָfor youלְמוֹקֵשׁ׃for a snare

    They shall not dwell in thy land, lest they make thee sin against me: for if thou serve their gods, it will surely be a snare unto thee.
