   And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.

   And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness:

   And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesהִנְנִיhin/NIbehold Iמַמְטִירmam/TIRwill rainלָכֶםla/KHEMfor youלֶחֶםLE/chembreadמִן־הַשָּׁמָיִםmin-hash/sha/MA/yimfrom heavenוְיָצָאve/ya/TSAand shall go outהָעָםha/AMthe peopleוְלָקְטוּve/la/ke/TUand gatherדְּבַר־יוֹםde/VAR-yoma day's portionבְּיוֹמוֹbe/yo/MOin its dayלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatאֲנַסֶּנּוּa/nas/SEN/nuI may prove themהֲיֵלֵךְha/ye/LEKHwhether they will walkבְּתוֹרָתִיbe/to/ra/TIin my lawאִם־לֹא׃im-loor not

   Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.

   וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall come to passבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayהַשִּׁשִּׁיhash/shish/SHIthe sixthוְהֵכִינוּve/he/KHI/nuthat they shall prepareאֵת־אֲשֶׁר־יָבִיאוּet-a/SHER-ya/VI/uthat which they shall bringוְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall come to passמִשְׁנֶהmish/NEtwice as muchעַלaloverאֲשֶׁר־יִלְקְטוּa/SHER-yil/ke/TUthey gatherיוֹםyomdayיוֹם׃yomby day

   And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesוְאַהֲרֹןve/A/ha/RONand Aaronאֶל־כׇּל־בְּנֵיel-kol-be/NEto all the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelעֶרֶבE/revat evenוִידַעְתֶּםvi/da/TEMand you shall knowכִּיkithatיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDהוֹצִיאho/TSIhas brought outאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsout of the land ofמִצְרָיִם׃Mits/RA/yimEgypt

   And Moses and Aaron said unto all the children of Israel, At even, then ye shall know that the LORD hath brought you out from the land of Egypt:

   וּבֹקֶרu/VO/kerand in the morningוּרְאִיתֶםu/re/i/TEMthen you shall seeאֶת־כְּבוֹדet-ke/VODthe glory ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבְּשׇׁמְעוֹbe/shom/Ofor that He hearsאֶת־תְּלֻנֹּתֵיכֶםet-te/lun/no/te/KHEMyour murmuringsעַל־יְהֹוָהal-Adonaiagainst the LORDוְנַחְנוּve/NACH/nuand weמָהmawhat are weכִּיkithat(תלונו)talavanav[תַלִּינוּ]tal/LI/nuyou murmurעָלֵינוּ׃a/LE/nuagainst us

   And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the LORD; for that he heareth your murmurings against the LORD: and what are we, that ye murmur against us?

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesבְּתֵתbe/TETwhen shall giveיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלָכֶםla/KHEMto youבָּעֶרֶבba/E/revin the eveningבָּשָׂרba/SARfleshלֶאֱכֹלle/e/KHOLto eatוְלֶחֶםve/LE/chemand breadבַּבֹּקֶרbab/BO/kerin the morningלִשְׂבֹּעַlis/BO/ato the fullבִּשְׁמֹעַbish/MO/afor that hearsיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־תְּלֻנֹּתֵיכֶםet-te/lun/no/te/KHEMyour murmuringsאֲשֶׁר־אַתֶּםa/SHER-at/TEMwhich youמַלִּינִםmal/li/NIMmurmurעָלָיוa/LAYVagainst Himוְנַחְנוּve/NACH/nuand weמָהmawhat are weלֹא־עָלֵינוּlo-a/LE/nunot against us areתְלֻנֹּתֵיכֶםte/lun/no/te/KHEMyour murmuringsכִּיkibutעַל־יְהֹוָה׃al-Adonaiagainst the LORD

   And Moses said, This shall be, when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD heareth your murmurings which ye murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD.

   וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאֶל־אַהֲרֹןel-A/ha/RONto Aaronאֱמֹרe/MORsayאֶל־כׇּל־עֲדַתel-kol-a/DATto all the congregation ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelקִרְבוּkir/VUcome nearלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDכִּיkiforשָׁמַעsha/MAHe has heardאֵת־תְּלֻנֹּתֵיכֶם׃et-te/lun/no/te/KHEMyour murmurings

   And Moses spake unto Aaron, Say unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, Come near before the LORD: for he hath heard your murmurings.

10. 10

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passכְּדַבֵּרke/dab/BERas spokeאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONAaronאֶל־כׇּל־עֲדַתel-kol-a/DATto all the congregation ofבְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלbe/NE-yis/ra/ELthe children of Israelוַיִּפְנוּvay/yif/NUthat they lookedאֶל־הַמִּדְבָּרel-ham/mid/BARtoward the wildernessוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdכְּבוֹדke/VODthe glory ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDנִרְאָהnir/Aappearedבֶּעָנָן׃be/a/NANin the cloud

    And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.

11. 11

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesלֵּאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

12. 12

    שָׁמַעְתִּיsha/MA/tiI have heardאֶת־תְּלוּנֹּתet-te/lun/NOTthe murmurings ofבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelדַּבֵּרdab/BERspeakאֲלֵהֶםa/le/HEMto themלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingבֵּיןbenbetweenהָעַרְבַּיִםha/ar/BA/yimthe two eveningsתֹּאכְלוּto/khe/LUyou shall eatבָשָׂרva/SARfleshוּבַבֹּקֶרu/vab/BO/kerand in the morningתִּשְׂבְּעוּ־לָחֶםtis/be/U-LA/chemyou shall be filled with breadוִידַעְתֶּםvi/da/TEMand you shall knowכִּיkithatאֲנִיa/NII amיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵיכֶם׃e/lo/he/KHEMyour God

    I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying, At even ye shall eat flesh, and in the morning ye shall be filled with bread; and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God.

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passבָעֶרֶבva/E/revin the eveningוַתַּעַלvat/TA/althat came upהַשְּׂלָוhas/se/LAVthe quailsוַתְּכַסvat/te/KHASand coveredאֶת־הַמַּחֲנֶהet-ham/ma/cha/NEthe campוּבַבֹּקֶרu/vab/BO/kerand in the morningהָיְתָהha/ye/TAthere wasשִׁכְבַתshikh/VATa layer ofהַטַּלhat/TALthe dewסָבִיבsa/VIVround aboutלַמַּחֲנֶה׃lam/ma/cha/NEthe camp

    And it came to pass, that at even the quails came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the host.

14. 14

    וַתַּעַלvat/TA/aland when was gone upשִׁכְבַתshikh/VATthe layer ofהַטָּלhat/TALthe dewוְהִנֵּהve/hin/NEand beholdעַל־פְּנֵיal-pe/NEupon the face ofהַמִּדְבָּרham/mid/BARthe wildernessדַּקdaksmallמְחֻסְפָּסme/chus/PASflaky thingדַּקdaksmallכַּכְּפֹרkak/ke/FORas the hoar frostעַל־הָאָרֶץ׃al-ha/A/retson the ground

    And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground.

15. 15

    וַיִּרְאוּvay/yir/Uand they sawבְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵלve/NE-yis/ra/ELthe children of Israelוַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidאִישׁishoneאֶל־אָחִיוel-a/CHIVto his brotherמָןmanwhatהוּאhuis itכִּיkiforלֹאlonotיָדְעוּya/de/Uthey knewמַה־הוּאma-huwhat it wasוַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאֲלֵהֶםa/le/HEMto themהוּאhuthis isהַלֶּחֶםhal/LE/chemthe breadאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנָתַןna/TANhas givenיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלָכֶםla/KHEMyouלְאׇכְלָה׃le/okh/LAto eat

    And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat.

16. 16

    זֶהzethis isהַדָּבָרhad/da/VARthe thingאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichצִוָּהtsiv/VAcommandedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלִקְטוּlik/TUgatherמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuof itאִישׁishevery manלְפִיle/FIaccording toאׇכְלוֹokh/LOhis eatingעֹמֶרO/meran omerלַגֻּלְגֹּלֶתlag/gul/GO/letfor every headמִסְפַּרmis/PARaccording to the number ofנַפְשֹׁתֵיכֶםnaf/sho/te/KHEMyour personsאִישׁishevery manלַאֲשֶׁרla/a/SHERfor them which areבְּאׇהֳלוֹbe/o/ho/LOin his tentתִּקָּחוּ׃tik/KA/chutake

    This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take ye every man for them which are in his tents.

    וַיַּעֲשׂוּ־כֵןvay/ya/a/SU-khenand did soבְּנֵיbe/NEthe children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוַיִּלְקְטוּvay/yil/ke/TUand gatheredהַמַּרְבֶּהham/mar/BEsome moreוְהַמַּמְעִיט׃ve/ham/mam/ITsome less

    And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less.

18. 18

    וַיָּמֹדּוּvay/ya/MOD/duand when they measuredבָעֹמֶרva/O/merwith the omerוְלֹאve/LOand notהֶעְדִּיףhe/DIFhad overהַמַּרְבֶּהham/mar/BEhe that had muchוְהַמַּמְעִיטve/ham/mam/ITand he that had littleלֹאlonotהֶחְסִירhech/SIRlackedאִישׁishevery manלְפִי־אׇכְלוֹle/FI-okh/LOaccording to his eatingלָקָטוּ׃la/KA/tuthey gathered

    And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating.

19. 19

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאֲלֵהֶםa/le/HEMto themאִישׁishmanאַל־יוֹתֵרal-yo/TERlet not leaveמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuof itעַד־בֹּקֶר׃ad-BO/keruntil the morning

    And Moses said, Let no man leave of it till the morning.

20. 20

    וְלֹא־שָׁמְעוּve/LO-sha/me/Ubut they hearkened notאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesוַיּוֹתִרוּvay/yo/TI/rubut leftאֲנָשִׁיםa/na/SHIMmenמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuof itעַד־בֹּקֶרad-BO/keruntil the morningוַיָּרֻםvay/YA/rumand it bredתּוֹלָעִיםto/la/IMwormsוַיִּבְאַשׁvay/yiv/ASHand stankוַיִּקְצֹףvay/yik/TSOFand was wrothעֲלֵהֶםa/le/HEMwith themמֹשֶׁה׃Mo/SHEMoses

    Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was wroth with them.

21. 21

    וַיִּלְקְטוּvay/yil/ke/TUand they gatheredאֹתוֹo/TOitבַּבֹּקֶרbab/BO/kerin the morningבַּבֹּקֶרbab/BO/kerin the morningאִישׁishevery manכְּפִיke/FIaccording toאׇכְלוֹokh/LOhis eatingוְחַםve/CHAMand when waxed hotהַשֶּׁמֶשׁhash/SHE/meshthe sunוְנָמָס׃ve/na/MASit melted

    And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted.

22. 22

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayהַשִּׁשִּׁיhash/shish/SHIthe sixthלָקְטוּla/ke/TUthey gatheredלֶחֶםLE/chembreadמִשְׁנֶהmish/NEtwice as muchשְׁנֵיshe/NEtwoהָעֹמֶרha/O/meromersלָאֶחָדla/e/CHADfor oneוַיָּבֹאוּvay/ya/VO/uand cameכׇּל־נְשִׂיאֵיkol-ne/si/Eall the rulers ofהָעֵדָהha/e/DAthe congregationוַיַּגִּידוּvay/yag/GI/duand toldלְמֹשֶׁה׃Le/mo/SHEMoses

    And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאֲלֵהֶםa/le/HEMto themהוּאhuthis isאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat whichדִּבֶּרdib/BERhas saidיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDשַׁבָּתוֹןshab/ba/TONa sabbath restשַׁבַּת־קֹדֶשׁshab/BAT-KO/desha holy sabbathלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDמָחָרma/CHARtomorrowאֵת־אֲשֶׁר־תֹּאפוּet-a/SHER-to/FUwhat you will bakeאֵפוּe/FUbakeוְאֵתve/ETandאֲשֶׁר־תְּבַשְּׁלוּa/SHER-te/vash/she/LUwhat you will boilבַּשֵּׁלוּbash/SHE/luboilוְאֵתve/ETandכׇּל־הָעֹדֵףkol-ha/o/DEFall that remains overהַנִּיחוּhan/NI/chulay upלָכֶםla/KHEMfor yourselvesלְמִשְׁמֶרֶתle/mish/ME/retto be keptעַד־הַבֹּקֶר׃ad-hab/BO/keruntil the morning

    And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which ye will bake to day, and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.

    וַיַּנִּיחוּvay/yan/NI/chuand they laid upאֹתוֹo/TOitעַד־הַבֹּקֶרad-hab/BO/keruntil the morningכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasצִוָּהtsiv/VAcommandedמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesוְלֹאve/LOand notהִבְאִישׁhiv/ISHdid it stinkוְרִמָּהve/rim/MAand wormלֹא־הָיְתָהlo-ha/ye/TAthere was notבּוֹ׃boin it

    And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein.

25. 25

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאִכְלֻהוּikh/LU/hueat itהַיּוֹםhay/YOMtodayכִּי־שַׁבָּתki-shab/BATfor a sabbath isהַיּוֹםhay/YOMtodayלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDהַיּוֹםhay/YOMtodayלֹאlonotתִמְצָאֻהוּtim/tsa/U/hushall you find itבַּשָּׂדֶה׃bas/sa/DEin the field

    And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to day is a sabbath unto the LORD: to day ye shall not find it in the field.

26. 26

    שֵׁשֶׁתSHE/shetsixיָמִיםya/MIMdaysתִּלְקְטֻהוּtil/ke/TU/huyou shall gather itוּבַיּוֹםu/vay/YOMand on the dayהַשְּׁבִיעִיhash/she/vi/Ithe seventhשַׁבָּתshab/BATis the sabbathלֹאlonotיִהְיֶה־בּוֹ׃yih/YE-boshall there be in it

    Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.

27. 27

    וַיְהִיvay/HIand it came to passבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayהַשְּׁבִיעִיhash/she/vi/Ithe seventhיָצְאוּya/tse/Uthere went outמִן־הָעָםmin-ha/AMsome of the peopleלִלְקֹטlil/KOTto gatherוְלֹאve/LOand notמָצָאוּ׃ma/TSA/uthey found

    And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none.

28. 28

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesעַד־אָנָהad-A/nahow longמֵאַנְתֶּםme/an/TEMrefuse youלִשְׁמֹרlish/MORto keepמִצְוֺתַיmits/vo/TAYmy commandmentsוְתוֹרֹתָי׃ve/to/ro/TAYand my laws

    And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse ye to keep my commandments and my laws?

29. 29

    רְאוּre/Useeכִּי־יְהֹוָהki-Adonaithat the LORDנָתַןna/TANhas givenלָכֶםla/KHEMyouהַשַּׁבָּתhash/shab/BATthe sabbathעַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeהוּאhuHeנֹתֵןno/TENgivesלָכֶםla/KHEMyouבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayהַשִּׁשִּׁיhash/shish/SHIthe sixthלֶחֶםLE/chembreadיוֹמָיִםyo/MA/yimof two daysשְׁבוּshe/VUabideאִישׁishevery manתַּחְתָּיוtach/TAYVin his placeאַל־יֵצֵאal-ye/TSElet not go outאִישׁishany manמִמְּקֹמוֹmim/me/ko/MOfrom his placeבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayהַשְּׁבִיעִי׃hash/she/vi/Ithe seventh

    See, for that the LORD hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.

    וַיִּשְׁבְּתוּvay/yish/be/TUso restedהָעָםha/AMthe peopleבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayהַשְּׁבִעִי׃hash/she/vi/Ithe seventh

    So the people rested on the seventh day.

31. 31

    וַיִּקְרְאוּvay/yik/re/Uand calledבֵית־יִשְׂרָאֵלvet-Yis/ra/ELthe house of Israelאֶת־שְׁמוֹet-she/MOits nameמָןManMannaוְהוּאve/HUand it wasכְּזֶרַעke/ZE/ralike seed ofגַּדgadcorianderלָבָןla/VANwhiteוְטַעְמוֹve/ta/MOand its tasteכְּצַפִּיחִתke/tsap/pi/CHITlike wafersבִּדְבָשׁ׃bid/VASHwith honey

    And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna: and it was like coriander seed, white; and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.

32. 32

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesזֶהzethisהַדָּבָרhad/da/VARthe thingאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichצִוָּהtsiv/VAcommandedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמְלֹאme/LOfillהָעֹמֶרha/O/meran omerמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuof itלְמִשְׁמֶרֶתle/mish/ME/retto be keptלְדֹרֹתֵיכֶםle/do/ro/te/KHEMfor your generationsלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatיִרְאוּyir/Uthey may seeאֶת־הַלֶּחֶםet-hal/LE/chemthe breadאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהֶאֱכַלְתִּיhe/e/KHAL/tiI have fedאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouבַּמִּדְבָּרbam/mid/BARin the wildernessבְּהוֹצִיאִיbe/ho/tsi/Iwhen I brought forthאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsout of the land ofמִצְרָיִם׃Mits/RA/yimEgypt

    And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commandeth, Fill an omer of it to be kept for your generations; that they may see the bread wherewith I have fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt.

33. 33

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאֶל־אַהֲרֹןel-A/ha/RONto Aaronקַחkachtakeצִנְצֶנֶתtsin/TSE/neta jarאַחַתa/CHAToneוְתֶן־שָׁמָּהve/TEN-SHAM/maand put thereinמְלֹא־הָעֹמֶרme/LO-ha/O/meran omer full ofמָןmanmannaוְהַנַּחve/han/NACHand lay upאֹתוֹo/TOitלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלְמִשְׁמֶרֶתle/mish/ME/retto be keptלְדֹרֹתֵיכֶם׃le/do/ro/te/KHEMfor your generations

    And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a pot, and put an omer full of manna therein, and lay it up before the LORD, to be kept for your generations.

34. 34

    כַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasצִוָּהtsiv/VAcommandedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶל־מֹשֶׁהel-Mo/SHEto Mosesוַיַּנִּיחֵהוּvay/yan/ni/CHE/huso laid it upאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONAaronלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeהָעֵדֻתha/E/DUTthe Testimonyלְמִשְׁמָרֶת׃le/mish/MA/retto be kept

    As the LORD commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept.

35. 35

    וּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאָכְלוּa/khe/LUateאֶת־הַמָּןet-ham/MANthe mannaאַרְבָּעִיםar/ba/IMfortyשָׁנָהsha/NAyearsעַד־בֹּאָםad-bo/AMuntil they cameאֶל־אֶרֶץel-E/retsto a landנוֹשָׁבֶתno/SHA/vetinhabitedאֶת־הַמָּןet-ham/MANthe mannaאָכְלוּa/khe/LUthey ateעַד־בֹּאָםad-bo/AMuntil they cameאֶל־קְצֵהel-ke/TSEto the borders ofאֶרֶץE/retsthe land ofכְּנָעַן׃Ke/NA/anCanaan

    And the children of Israel did eat manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat manna, until they came unto the borders of the land of Canaan.

36. 36

    וְהָעֹמֶרve/ha/O/mernow an omerעֲשִׂרִיתa/si/RITis the tenth part ofהָאֵיפָהha/e/FAan ephahהוּא׃huit

    Now an omer is the tenth part of an ephah.
