   אָזazthenיָשִׁיר־מֹשֶׁהya/SHIR-Mo/SHEsang Mosesוּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאֶת־הַשִּׁירָהet-hash/shi/RAthe songהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDוַיֹּאמְרוּvay/yo/me/RUand they saidלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingאָשִׁירָהa/SHI/raI will singלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDכִּי־גָאֹהki-ga/Ofor triumphגָּאָהga/AHe has triumphedסוּסsusthe horseוְרֹכְבוֹve/rokh/VOand his riderרָמָהra/MAHe has thrownבַיָּם׃vay/YAMinto the sea

   Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.

   עׇזִּיoz/ZImy strengthוְזִמְרָתve/zim/RATand songיָהּyathe LORDוַיְהִי־לִיvay/HI-liand He has become myלִישׁוּעָהli/shu/Asalvationזֶהzethis isאֵלִיe/LImy Godוְאַנְוֵהוּve/an/VE/huand I will prepare Him a habitationאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofאָבִיa/VImy fatherוַאֲרֹמְמֶנְהוּ׃va/a/rom/MEN/huand I will exalt Him

   The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.

   יְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאִישׁisha man ofמִלְחָמָהmil/cha/MAwarיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDשְׁמוֹ׃she/MOis His name

   The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.

   מַרְכְּבֹתmar/ke/VOTthe chariots ofפַּרְעֹהPar/OPharaohוְחֵילוֹve/che/LOand his hostיָרָהya/RAhas He castבַיָּםvay/YAMin the seaוּמִבְחַרu/miv/CHARand his chosenשָׁלִשָׁיוsha/li/SHAYVcaptainsטֻבְּעוּtub/be/Uare drownedבְיַם־סוּף׃ve/YAM-sufin the Red Sea

   Pharaoh's chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.

   תְּהֹמֹתte/ho/MOTthe depthsיְכַסְיֻמוּye/khas/YU/muhave covered themיָרְדוּya/re/DUthey went downבִמְצוֹלֹתvim/tso/LOTinto the deepsכְּמוֹ־אָבֶן׃ke/MO-A/venas a stone

   The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.

   יְמִינְךָye/mi/ne/KHAYour right handיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDנֶאְדָּרִיne/da/RIis gloriousבַּכֹּחַbak/KO/achin powerיְמִינְךָye/mi/ne/KHAYour right handיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDתִּרְעַץtir/ATShas dashed in piecesאוֹיֵב׃o/YEVthe enemy

   Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.

   וּבְרֹבu/ve/ROVand in the greatness ofגְּאוֹנְךָge/on/KHAYour excellencyתַּהֲרֹסta/ha/ROSYou have overthrownקָמֶיךָka/ME/khathose who rose up against Youתְּשַׁלַּחte/shal/LACHYou sent forthחֲרֹנְךָcha/ron/KHAYour wrathיֹאכְלֵמוֹyo/khe/LE/moit consumed themכַּקַּשׁ׃kak/KASHas stubble

   And in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble.

   וּבְרוּחַu/ve/RU/achand with the blast ofאַפֶּיךָap/PE/khaYour nostrilsנֶעֶרְמוּNE/er/muwere gathered togetherמַיִםMA/yimthe watersנִצְּבוּnits/tse/VUstood uprightכְמוֹ־נֵדkhe/MO-nedas a heapנֹזְלִיםnoz/LIMthe floodsקָפְאוּka/fe/Uwere congealedתְהֹמֹתte/ho/MOTthe depthsבְּלֶב־יָם׃be/LEV-yamin the heart of the sea

   And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.

   אָמַרa/MARsaidאוֹיֵבo/YEVthe enemyאֶרְדֹּףer/DOFI will pursueאַשִּׂיגas/SIGI will overtakeאֲחַלֵּקa/chal/LEKI will divideשָׁלָלsha/LALthe spoilתִּמְלָאֵמוֹtim/la/E/moshall be satisfied upon themנַפְשִׁיnaf/SHImy desireאָרִיקa/RIKI will drawחַרְבִּיchar/BImy swordתּוֹרִישֵׁמוֹto/ri/SHE/moshall destroy themיָדִי׃ya/DImy hand

   The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.

    נָשַׁפְתָּna/SHAF/taYou did blowבְרוּחֲךָve/ru/cha/KHAwith Your windכִּסָּמוֹkis/SA/mocovered themיָםyamthe seaצָלְלוּtsa/le/LUthey sankכַּעוֹפֶרֶתka/o/FE/retas leadבְּמַיִםbe/MA/yimin the watersאַדִּירִים׃ad/di/RIMmighty

    Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.

    מִי־כָמֹכָהmi-kha/MO/khawho is like Youבָּאֵלִםba/e/LIMamong the godsיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDמִיmiwhoכָּמֹכָהka/MO/khais like Youנֶאְדָּרne/DARgloriousבַּקֹּדֶשׁbak/KO/deshin the sanctuaryנוֹרָאno/RAfearfulתְהִלֹּתte/hil/LOTin praisesעֹשֵׂהo/SEdoingפֶלֶא׃FE/lewonders

    Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

12. 12

    נָטִיתָna/TI/taYou stretched outיְמִינְךָye/mi/ne/KHAYour right handתִּבְלָעֵמוֹtiv/la/E/moswallowed themאָרֶץ׃A/retsthe earth

    Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them.

13. 13

    נָחִיתָna/CHI/taYou have ledבְחַסְדְּךָve/chas/de/KHAin Your mercyעַם־זוּam-zuthe people whichגָּאָלְתָּga/AL/taYou have redeemedנֵהַלְתָּne/HAL/taYou have guidedבְעׇזְּךָve/oz/ze/KHAin Your strengthאֶל־נְוֵהel-ne/VEto the habitation ofקׇדְשֶׁךָ׃kod/SHE/khaYour holiness

    Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.

14. 14

    שָׁמְעוּsha/me/Uhave heardעַמִּיםam/MIMthe peoplesיִרְגָּזוּןyir/ga/ZUNthey trembleחִילchilpangsאָחַזa/CHAZhave taken hold ofיֹשְׁבֵיyosh/VEthe inhabitants ofפְּלָשֶׁת׃Pe/LA/shetPhilistia

    The people shall hear, and be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina.

15. 15

    אָזazthenנִבְהֲלוּniv/ha/LUwere amazedאַלּוּפֵיal/lu/FEthe chiefs ofאֱדוֹםE/DOMEdomאֵילֵיe/LEthe mighty men ofמוֹאָבMo/AVMoabיֹאחֲזֵמוֹyo/cha/ZE/motakes hold upon themרָעַדRA/adtremblingנָמֹגוּna/MO/guhave melted awayכֹּלkolallיֹשְׁבֵיyosh/VEthe inhabitants ofכְנָעַן׃Khe/NA/anCanaan

    Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away.

16. 16

    תִּפֹּלtip/POLfallsעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMupon themאֵימָתָהe/MA/taterrorוָפַחַדva/FA/chadand dreadבִּגְדֹלbig/DOLby the greatness ofזְרוֹעֲךָze/ro/a/KHAYour armיִדְּמוּyid/de/MUthey are stillכָּאָבֶןka/A/venas a stoneעַד־יַעֲבֹרad-ya/a/VORuntil pass overעַמְּךָam/me/KHAYour peopleיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDעַד־יַעֲבֹרad-ya/a/VORuntil pass overעַם־זוּam-zuthe people whichקָנִיתָ׃ka/NI/taYou have purchased

    Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine arm they shall be as still as a stone; till thy people pass over, O LORD, till the people pass over, which thou hast purchased.

    תְּבִאֵמוֹte/vi/E/moYou shall bring them inוְתִטָּעֵמוֹve/tit/ta/E/moand plant themבְּהַרbe/HARin the mountain ofנַחֲלָתְךָna/cha/la/te/KHAYour inheritanceמָכוֹןma/KHONthe placeלְשִׁבְתְּךָle/shiv/te/KHAfor You to dwell inפָּעַלְתָּpa/AL/taYou have madeיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDמִקְּדָשׁmik/ke/DASHthe sanctuaryאֲדֹנָיa/do/NAYO Lordכּוֹנְנוּkon/NUhave establishedיָדֶיךָ׃ya/DE/khaYour hands

    Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which thy hands have established.

18. 18

    יְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDיִמְלֹךְyim/LOKHshall reignלְעֹלָםle/o/LAMfor everוָעֶד׃va/EDand ever

    The LORD shall reign for ever and ever.

19. 19

    כִּיkiforבָאvawent inסוּסsusthe horses ofפַּרְעֹהPar/OPharaohבְּרִכְבּוֹbe/rikh/BOwith his chariotsוּבְפָרָשָׁיוu/ve/fa/ra/SHAYVand with his horsemenבַּיָּםbay/YAMin the seaוַיָּשֶׁבvay/YA/shevand brought backיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDעֲלֵהֶםa/le/HEMupon themאֶת־מֵיet-methe waters ofהַיָּםhay/YAMthe seaוּבְנֵיu/ve/NEand the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelהָלְכוּha/le/KHUwentבַיַּבָּשָׁהvay/yab/ba/SHAon dry landבְּתוֹךְbe/TOKHin the midst ofהַיָּם׃hay/YAMthe sea

    For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea.

20. 20

    וַתִּקַּחvat/tik/KACHand tookמִרְיָםMir/YAMMiriamהַנְּבִיאָהhan/ne/vi/Athe prophetessאֲחוֹתa/CHOTthe sister ofאַהֲרֹןA/ha/RONAaronאֶת־הַתֹּףet-hat/TOFthe timbrelבְּיָדָהּbe/ya/DAin her handוַתֵּצֶאןָvat/te/TSE/naand went outכׇל־הַנָּשִׁיםkhol-han/na/SHIMall the womenאַחֲרֶיהָa/cha/RE/haafter herבְּתֻפִּיםbe/tup/PIMwith timbrelsוּבִמְחֹלֹת׃u/vim/cho/LOTand with dances

    And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.

21. 21

    וַתַּעַןvat/TA/anand answeredלָהֶםla/HEMto themמִרְיָםMir/YAMMiriamשִׁירוּSHI/rusingלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDכִּי־גָאֹהki-ga/Ofor triumphגָּאָהga/AHe has triumphedסוּסsusthe horseוְרֹכְבוֹve/rokh/VOand his riderרָמָהra/MAHe has thrownבַיָּם׃vay/YAMinto the sea

    And Miriam answered them, Sing ye to the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.

22. 22

    וַיַּסַּעvay/yas/SAand ledמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵלet-Yis/ra/ELIsraelמִיַּם־סוּףmiy/YAM-suffrom the Red Seaוַיֵּצְאוּvay/yets/Uand they went outאֶל־מִדְבַּר־שׁוּרel-Mid/BAR-shurto the wilderness of Shurוַיֵּלְכוּvay/yel/KHUand they wentשְׁלֹשֶׁת־יָמִיםshe/LO/shet-ya/MIMthree daysבַּמִּדְבָּרbam/mid/BARin the wildernessוְלֹא־מָצְאוּve/LO-ma/tse/Uand found noמָיִם׃MA/yimwater

    So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.

23. 23

    וַיָּבֹאוּvay/ya/VO/uand when they cameמָרָתָהMa/RA/tato Marahוְלֹאve/LOand notיָכְלוּya/khe/LUcould theyלִשְׁתֹּתlish/TOTdrinkמַיִםMA/yimwaterמִמָּרָהmim/Ma/RAof Marahכִּיkiforמָרִיםma/RIMbitterהֵםhemthey wereעַל־כֵּןal-kenthereforeקָרָא־שְׁמָהּka/RA-she/MAwas the name of it calledמָרָה׃Ma/RAMarah

    And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah.

24. 24

    וַיִּלֹּנוּvay/yil/LO/nuand murmuredהָעָםha/AMthe peopleעַל־מֹשֶׁהal-Mo/SHEagainst Mosesלֵּאמֹרle/MORsayingמַה־נִּשְׁתֶּה׃ma-nish/TEwhat shall we drink

    And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?

25. 25

    וַיִּצְעַקvay/yits/AKand he criedאֶל־יְהֹוָהel-Adonaito the LORDוַיּוֹרֵהוּvay/yo/RE/huand showed himיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDעֵץetsa treeוַיַּשְׁלֵךְvay/yash/LEKHand he cast itאֶל־הַמַּיִםel-ham/MA/yiminto the watersוַיִּמְתְּקוּvay/yim/te/KUand were made sweetהַמָּיִםham/MA/yimthe watersשָׁםshamthereשָׂםsamHe madeלוֹlofor themחֹקchoka statuteוּמִשְׁפָּטu/mish/PATand an ordinanceוְשָׁםve/SHAMand thereנִסָּהוּ׃nis/SA/huHe proved them

    And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them,

26. 26

    וַיֹּאמֶרvay/YO/merand saidאִם־שָׁמוֹעַim-sha/MO/aif hearkenתִּשְׁמַעtish/MAyou will hearkenלְקוֹלle/KOLto the voice ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godוְהַיָּשָׁרve/hay/ya/SHARand what is rightבְּעֵינָיוbe/e/NAYVin His eyesתַּעֲשֶׂהta/a/SEwill doוְהַאֲזַנְתָּve/ha/a/zan/TAand you will give earלְמִצְוֺתָיוle/mits/vo/TAYVto His commandmentsוְשָׁמַרְתָּve/sha/mar/TAand you will keepכׇּל־חֻקָּיוkol-chuk/KAYVall His statutesכׇּל־הַמַּחֲלָהkol-ham/ma/cha/LAall the diseaseאֲשֶׁר־שַׂמְתִּיa/SHER-SAM/tiwhich I have putבְמִצְרַיִםve/Mits/RA/yimupon the Egyptiansלֹא־אָשִׂיםlo-a/SIMI will not putעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaupon youכִּיkiforאֲנִיa/NII amיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDרֹפְאֶךָ׃rof/E/khawho heals you

    And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

27. 27

    וַיָּבֹאוּvay/ya/VO/uand they cameאֵילִמָהE/LI/mato Elimוְשָׁםve/SHAMand thereשְׁתֵּים־עֶשְׂרֵהshtem-es/REtwelveעֵינֹתe/NOTsprings ofמַיִםMA/yimwaterוְשִׁבְעִיםve/shiv/IMand seventyתְּמָרִיםte/ma/RIMpalm treesוַיַּחֲנוּ־שָׁםvay/ya/cha/NU-shamand they encamped thereעַל־הַמָּיִם׃al-ham/MA/yimby the waters

    And they came to Elim, where were twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters.
