   All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers.

   וְזָכַרְתָּve/za/khar/TAand you shall rememberאֶת־כׇּל־הַדֶּרֶךְet-kol-had/DE/rekhall the wayאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichהוֹלִיכֲךָho/li/kha/KHAhas led youיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godזֶהzetheseאַרְבָּעִיםar/ba/IMfortyשָׁנָהsha/NAyearsבַּמִּדְבָּרbam/mid/BARin the wildernessלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatעַנֹּתְךָan/not/KHAHe might humble youלְנַסֹּתְךָle/nas/sot/KHAto prove youלָדַעַתla/DA/atto knowאֶת־אֲשֶׁרet-a/SHERwhat wasבִּלְבָבְךָbil/va/ve/KHAin your heartהֲתִשְׁמֹרha/tish/MORwhether you would keepמִצְוֺתָוmits/vo/TAVHis commandmentsאִם־לֹא׃im-loor not

   And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

   וַיְעַנְּךָvay/an/ne/KHAand He humbled youוַיַּרְעִבֶךָvay/yar/i/ve/KHAand let you hungerוַיַּאֲכִלְךָvay/ya/a/khil/KHAand fed you withאֶת־הַמָּןet-ham/MANthe mannaאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichלֹא־יָדַעְתָּlo-ya/DA/tayou did not knowוְלֹאve/LOneitherיָדְעוּןya/de/UNdid knowאֲבֹתֶיךָa/vo/TE/khayour fathersלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatהוֹדִעֲךָho/di/a/KHAHe might make you knowכִּיkithatלֹאlonotעַל־הַלֶּחֶםal-hal/LE/chemby breadלְבַדּוֹle/vad/DOaloneיִחְיֶהyich/YEdoes liveהָאָדָםha/a/DAMmanכִּיkibutעַל־כׇּל־מוֹצָאal-kol-mo/TSAby all that goes out ofפִי־יְהֹוָהfi-Adonaithe mouth of the LORDיִחְיֶהyich/YEdoes liveהָאָדָם׃ha/a/DAMman

   And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.

   שִׂמְלָתְךָsim/la/te/KHAyour raimentלֹאlonotבָלְתָהva/le/TAdid wear outמֵעָלֶיךָme/a/LE/khaupon youוְרַגְלְךָve/rag/le/KHAand your footלֹאlonotבָצֵקָהva/TSE/kadid swellזֶהzetheseאַרְבָּעִיםar/ba/IMfortyשָׁנָה׃sha/NAyears

   Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy foot swell, these forty years.

   וְיָדַעְתָּve/ya/da/TAknow thenעִם־לְבָבֶךָim-le/va/VE/khain your heartכִּיkithatכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasיְיַסֵּרye/yas/SERchastensאִישׁisha manאֶת־בְּנוֹet-be/NOhis sonיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godמְיַסְּרֶךָּ׃me/yas/se/REK/kachastens you

   Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that, as a man chasteneth his son, so the LORD thy God chasteneth thee.

   וְשָׁמַרְתָּve/sha/mar/TAtherefore you shall keepאֶת־מִצְוֺתet-mits/VOTthe commandments ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godלָלֶכֶתla/LE/khetto walkבִּדְרָכָיוbid/ra/KHAYVin His waysוּלְיִרְאָהu/le/yir/Aand to fearאֹתוֹ׃o/TOHim

   Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.

   כִּיkiforיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godמְבִיאֲךָme/vi/a/KHAis bringing youאֶל־אֶרֶץel-E/retsinto a landטוֹבָהto/VAgoodאֶרֶץE/retsa land ofנַחֲלֵיNA/cha/lebrooks ofמָיִםMA/yimwaterעֲיָנֹתa/ya/NOTof fountainsוּתְהֹמֹתu/te/ho/MOTand depthsיֹצְאִיםyots/IMthat spring outבַּבִּקְעָהbab/bik/Ain valleysוּבָהָר׃u/va/HARand hills

   For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;

   אֶרֶץE/retsa land ofחִטָּהchit/TAwheatוּשְׂעֹרָהu/se/o/RAand barleyוְגֶפֶןve/GE/fenand vinesוּתְאֵנָהu/te/e/NAand fig treesוְרִמּוֹןve/rim/MONand pomegranatesאֶרֶץ־זֵיתE/rets-zeta land of oliveשֶׁמֶןSHE/menoilוּדְבָשׁ׃u/de/VASHand honey

   A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey;

   אֶרֶץE/retsa landאֲשֶׁרa/SHERin whichלֹאlonotבְמִסְכֵּנֻתve/mis/ke/NUTwith scarcenessתֹּאכַל־בָּהּto/KHAL-bayou shall eatלֶחֶםLE/chembreadלֹא־תֶחְסַרlo-tech/SARyou shall not lackכֹּלkolanythingבָּהּbain itאֶרֶץE/retsa landאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoseאֲבָנֶיהָa/va/NE/hastones areבַרְזֶלvar/ZELironוּמֵהֲרָרֶיהָu/me/ha/ra/RE/haand from its hillsתַּחְצֹבtach/TSOVyou may digנְחֹשֶׁת׃ne/CHO/shetcopper

   A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.

    וְאָכַלְתָּve/a/khal/TAwhen you have eatenוְשָׂבָעְתָּve/sa/VA/taand are fullוּבֵרַכְתָּu/ve/rakh/TAthen you shall blessאֶת־יְהֹוָהet-Adonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retsfor the landהַטֹּבָהhat/to/VAgoodאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנָתַן־לָךְ׃na/TAN-lakhHe has given you

    When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good land which he hath given thee.

11. 11

    הִשָּׁמֶרhish/SHA/mertake heedלְךָle/KHAto yourselfפֶּן־תִּשְׁכַּחpen-tish/KACHlest you forgetאֶת־יְהֹוָהet-Adonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godלְבִלְתִּיle/vil/TIby notשְׁמֹרshe/MORkeepingמִצְוֺתָיוmits/vo/TAYVHis commandmentsוּמִשְׁפָּטָיוu/mish/pa/TAYVand His judgmentsוְחֻקֹּתָיוve/chuk/ko/TAYVand His statutesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIמְצַוְּךָme/tsav/ve/KHAcommand youהַיּוֹם׃hay/YOMthis day

    Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day:

12. 12

    פֶּן־תֹּאכַלpen-to/KHALlest when you have eatenוְשָׂבָעְתָּve/sa/VA/taand are fullוּבָתִּיםu/vat/TIMand housesטֹבִיםto/VIMgoodlyתִּבְנֶהtiv/NEhave builtוְיָשָׁבְתָּ׃ve/ya/SHAV/taand dwelt in them

    Lest when thou hast eaten and art full, and hast built goodly houses, and dwelt therein;

13. 13

    וּבְקָרְךָu/ve/ka/re/KHAand your herdsוְצֹאנְךָve/tso/ne/KHAand your flocksיִרְבְּיֻןyir/be/YUNmultiplyוְכֶסֶףve/KHE/sefand silverוְזָהָבve/za/HAVand goldיִרְבֶּה־לָּךְyir/BE-lakhis multiplied to youוְכֹלve/KHOLand allאֲשֶׁר־לְךָa/SHER-le/KHAthat you haveיִרְבֶּה׃yir/BEis multiplied

    And when thy herds and thy flocks multiply, and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied, and all that thou hast is multiplied;

14. 14

    וְרָםve/RAMthen be lifted upלְבָבֶךָle/va/VE/khayour heartוְשָׁכַחְתָּve/sha/khach/TAand you forgetאֶת־יְהֹוָהet-Adonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godהַמּוֹצִיאֲךָham/mo/tsi/a/KHAwho brought you outמֵאֶרֶץme/E/retsout of the land ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptמִבֵּיתmib/BETout of the house ofעֲבָדִים׃a/va/DIMbondage

    Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage;

15. 15

    הַמּוֹלִיכְךָham/mo/li/khe/KHAwho led youבַּמִּדְבָּרbam/mid/BARthrough the wildernessהַגָּדֹלhag/ga/DOLgreatוְהַנּוֹרָאve/han/no/RAand terribleנָחָשׁna/CHASHwith serpentsשָׂרָףsa/RAFfieryוְעַקְרָבve/ak/RAVand scorpionsוְצִמָּאוֹןve/tsim/ma/ONand droughtאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhereאֵין־מָיִםen-MA/yimthere was no waterהַמּוֹצִיאham/mo/TSIwho brought forthלְךָle/KHAfor youמַיִםMA/yimwaterמִצּוּרmits/TSURout of the rock ofהַחַלָּמִישׁ׃ha/chal/la/MISHthe flint

    Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water; who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint;

16. 16

    הַמַּאֲכִלְךָham/ma/a/khil/KHAwho fed youמָןmanwith mannaבַּמִּדְבָּרbam/mid/BARin the wildernessאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichלֹא־יָדְעוּןlo-ya/de/UNknew notאֲבֹתֶיךָa/vo/TE/khayour fathersלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatעַנֹּתְךָan/not/KHAHe might humble youוּלְמַעַןu/le/MA/anand thatנַסֹּתֶךָnas/so/TE/khaHe might prove youלְהֵיטִבְךָle/he/tiv/KHAto do you goodבְּאַחֲרִיתֶךָ׃be/a/cha/ri/TE/khaat your latter end

    Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;

17. 17

    וְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand you sayבִּלְבָבֶךָbil/va/VE/khain your heartכֹּחִיko/CHImy powerוְעֹצֶםve/O/tsemand the might ofיָדִיya/DImy handעָשָׂהa/SAhas gottenלִיlimeאֶת־הַחַיִלet-ha/CHA/yilthe wealthהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

    And thou say in thine heart, My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.

18. 18

    וְזָכַרְתָּve/za/khar/TAbut you shall rememberאֶת־יְהֹוָהet-Adonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godכִּיkithatהוּאhuit is Heהַנֹּתֵןhan/no/TENwho givesלְךָle/KHAyouכֹּחַKO/achpowerלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto getחָיִלCHA/yilwealthלְמַעַןle/MA/anthatהָקִיםha/KIMHe may establishאֶת־בְּרִיתוֹet-be/ri/TOHis covenantאֲשֶׁר־נִשְׁבַּעa/SHER-nish/BAwhich sworeלַאֲבֹתֶיךָla/a/vo/TE/khato your fathersכַּיּוֹםkay/YOMas at the dayהַזֶּה׃haz/ZEthis

    But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

19. 19

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beאִם־שָׁכֹחַim-sha/KHO/achif forgetתִּשְׁכַּחtish/KACHyou do forgetאֶת־יְהֹוָהet-Adonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godוְהָלַכְתָּve/ha/lakh/TAand walkאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterאֱלֹהִים־אֲחֵרִיםe/lo/HIM-a/che/RIMother godsוַעֲבַדְתָּםva/a/vad/TAMand serve themוְהִשְׁתַּחֲוִיתָve/hish/ta/cha/VI/taand worshipלָהֶםla/HEMto themהַעִדֹתִיha/i/DO/tiI testifyבָכֶםva/KHEMagainst youהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthis dayכִּיkithatאָבֹדa/VODperishתֹּאבֵדוּן׃to/ve/DUNyou shall perish

    And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify against you this day that ye shall surely perish.

20. 20

    כַּגּוֹיִםkag/go/YIMas the nationsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמַאֲבִידma/a/VIDdestroysמִפְּנֵיכֶםmip/pe/ne/KHEMfrom before youכֵּןkensoתֹּאבֵדוּןto/ve/DUNyou shall perishעֵקֶבE/kevbecauseלֹאlonotתִשְׁמְעוּןtish/me/UNyou would obeyבְּקוֹלbe/KOLthe voice ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵיכֶם׃e/lo/he/KHEMyour God

    As the nations which the LORD destroyeth before your face, so shall ye perish; because ye would not be obedient unto the voice of the LORD your God.
