    וְהָיָהand beכִי־יָבֹאוּthat comeעָלֶיךָupon youכׇּל־הַדְּבָרִיםall the wordsהָאֵלֶּהtheseהַבְּרָכָהthe blessingוְהַקְּלָלָהand the cursingאֲשֶׁרwhichנָתַתִּיI gaveלְפָנֶיךָbefore youוַהֲשֵׁבֹתָand you will bring backאֶל־לְבָבֶךָto your heartבְּכׇל־הַגּוֹיִםin all the nationsאֲשֶׁרwhichהִדִּיחֲךָhas banished youיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָyour Godשָׁמָּה׃there

    And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,

    וְשַׁבְתָּand you will returnעַד־יְהֹוָהuntil the LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָyour Godוְשָׁמַעְתָּand you heardבְקֹלוֹto His voiceכְּכֹלaccording to allאֲשֶׁר־אָנֹכִיwhich Iמְצַוְּךָam commanding youהַיּוֹםthe dayאַתָּהyouוּבָנֶיךָand your sonsבְּכׇל־לְבָבְךָin all your heartוּבְכׇל־נַפְשֶׁךָ׃and in all your soul

    And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;

    וְשָׁבand shall returnיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָyour Godאֶת־שְׁבוּתְךָyour captivityוְרִחֲמֶךָand he will have compassion on youוְשָׁבand shall returnוְקִבֶּצְךָand he will gather youמִכׇּל־הָעַמִּיםfrom all the peopleאֲשֶׁרwhichהֱפִיצְךָhas scattered youיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָyour Godשָׁמָּה׃there

    That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.

    אִם־יִהְיֶהthough beנִדַּחֲךָyour banished oneבִּקְצֵהof end ofהַשָּׁמָיִםthe heavensמִשָּׁםfrom thereיְקַבֶּצְךָwill gather youיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָyour Godוּמִשָּׁםand from thenceיִקָּחֶךָ׃he will bring you

    If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:

  5. 5

    וֶהֱבִיאֲךָand will bring youיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָyour Godאֶל־הָאָרֶץunto the landאֲשֶׁר־יָרְשׁוּwhich possessedאֲבֹתֶיךָyour fathersוִירִשְׁתָּהּand you will take possession of itוְהֵיטִבְךָand he will do good to youוְהִרְבְּךָand he will make great youמֵאֲבֹתֶיךָ׃above your fathers

    And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.

    וּמָלand will circumciseיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָyour Godאֶת־לְבָבְךָyour heartוְאֶת־לְבַבand hearts ofזַרְעֶךָyour seedלְאַהֲבָהto loveאֶת־יְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָyour Godבְּכׇל־לְבָבְךָin all your heartוּבְכׇל־נַפְשְׁךָand in all your soulלְמַעַןin order thatחַיֶּיךָ׃you may live

    And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

    וְנָתַןand shall giveיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָyour Godאֵת־כׇּל־הָאָלוֹתall these cursesהָאֵלֶּהtheseעַל־אֹיְבֶיךָupon your enemiesוְעַל־שֹׂנְאֶיךָand upon those who hate youאֲשֶׁרwhichרְדָפוּךָ׃they have persecuted you

    And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.

    וְאַתָּהand youתָשׁוּבreturnוְשָׁמַעְתָּand shall obeyבְּקוֹלthe voice ofיְהֹוָהthe LORDוְעָשִׂיתָand doאֶת־כׇּל־מִצְוֺתָיוall His commandmentsאֲשֶׁרwhichאָנֹכִיIמְצַוְּךָam commanding youהַיּוֹם׃the day

    And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.

    וְהוֹתִירְךָand shall make you plenteousיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָyour Godבְּכֹלin allמַעֲשֵׂהwork ofיָדֶךָyour handבִּפְרִיin the fruit ofבִטְנְךָyour wombוּבִפְרִיand in the fruit ofבְהֶמְתְּךָyour livestockוּבִפְרִיand in the fruit ofאַדְמָתְךָyour landלְטֹבָהfor goodכִּיbecauseיָשׁוּבshall returnיְהֹוָהthe LORDלָשׂוּשׂto rejoiceעָלֶיךָupon youלְטוֹבfor goodכַּאֲשֶׁר־שָׂשׂas rejoicedעַל־אֲבֹתֶיךָ׃upon your fathers

    And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:

  10. 10

    כִּיifתִשְׁמַעyou would hearken toבְּקוֹלthe voice ofיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָyour Godלִשְׁמֹרto keepמִצְוֺתָיוHis commandmentsוְחֻקֹּתָיוand His statutesהַכְּתוּבָהthe writtenבְּסֵפֶרin the book ofהַתּוֹרָהthe Lawהַזֶּהthisכִּיifתָשׁוּבreturnאֶל־יְהֹוָהto the LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָyour Godבְּכׇל־לְבָבְךָin all your heartוּבְכׇל־נַפְשֶׁךָ׃and in all your soul

    If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

    כִּיforהַמִּצְוָהthe commandmentהַזֹּאתthisאֲשֶׁרwhichאָנֹכִיIמְצַוְּךָam commanding youהַיּוֹםthe dayלֹא־נִפְלֵאתis not too hardהִואit isמִמְּךָfrom youוְלֹאand notרְחֹקָהis far awayהִוא׃it is

    For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.

    לֹאnotבַשָּׁמַיִםin the heavensהִואit isלֵאמֹרsayingמִיwhoיַעֲלֶה־לָּנוּlet ascend weהַשָּׁמַיְמָהunto the heavensוְיִקָּחֶהָso he may fetch itלָּנוּto usוְיַשְׁמִעֵנוּso he may make hear usאֹתָהּitוְנַעֲשֶׂנָּה׃so we may do it

    It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

    וְלֹא־מֵעֵבֶרand not acrossלַיָּםthe seaהִואit isלֵאמֹרsayingמִיwhoיַעֲבׇר־לָנוּshall go over for usאֶל־עֵבֶרto sideהַיָּםthe seaוְיִקָּחֶהָso he may fetch itלָּנוּto usוְיַשְׁמִעֵנוּso he may make hear usאֹתָהּitוְנַעֲשֶׂנָּה׃so we may do it

    Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

    כִּי־קָרוֹבbut very nearאֵלֶיךָto youהַדָּבָרthe wordמְאֹדexceedinglyבְּפִיךָin your mouthוּבִלְבָבְךָand in your heartלַעֲשֹׂתוֹ׃to do it

    But the word is very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

  15. 15

    רְאֵהbeholdנָתַתִּיI gaveלְפָנֶיךָbefore youהַיּוֹםthe dayאֶת־הַחַיִּיםthe lifeוְאֶת־הַטּוֹבand the goodוְאֶת־הַמָּוֶתand the deathוְאֶת־הָרָע׃and that which is evil

    See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;

    אֲשֶׁרwhichאָנֹכִיIמְצַוְּךָam commanding youהַיּוֹםthe dayלְאַהֲבָהto loveאֶת־יְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָyour Godלָלֶכֶתto goבִּדְרָכָיוin His waysוְלִשְׁמֹרand keepמִצְוֺתָיוHis commandmentsוְחֻקֹּתָיוand His statutesוּמִשְׁפָּטָיוand His judgmentsוְחָיִיתָand you will liveוְרָבִיתָand you will increaseוּבֵרַכְךָand will bless youיְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָyour Godבָּאָרֶץin the landאֲשֶׁר־אַתָּהwhich youבָא־שָׁמָּהcame thereלְרִשְׁתָּהּ׃to possess it

    In that I command thee this day to love the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his judgments, that thou mayest live and multiply: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

  17. 17

    וְאִם־יִפְנֶהand if it will turn awayלְבָבְךָyour heartוְלֹאand notתִשְׁמָעyou will listenוְנִדַּחְתָּand you will be drawn asideוְהִשְׁתַּחֲוִיתָand you will bow downלֵאלֹהִים־אֲחֵרִיםto other godsוַעֲבַדְתָּם׃and you will serve them

    But if thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them;

    הִגַּדְתִּיI denounceלָכֶםto youהַיּוֹםthe dayכִּיthatאָבֹדutterlyתֹּאבֵדוּןperishלֹא־תַאֲרִיכֻןnot you will prolongיָמִיםdaysעַל־הָאֲדָמָהupon the landאֲשֶׁרwhichאַתָּהyouעֹבֵרpassing overאֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּןthe Jordanלָבוֹאto comeשָׁמָּהthereלְרִשְׁתָּהּ׃to possess it

    I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou passest over Jordan to go to possess it.

    הַעִדֹתִיI call as witnessesבָכֶםover youהַיּוֹםthe dayאֶת־הַשָּׁמַיִםthe heavensוְאֶת־הָאָרֶץand the landהַחַיִּיםthe lifeוְהַמָּוֶתand the deathנָתַתִּיI gaveלְפָנֶיךָbefore youהַבְּרָכָהthe blessingוְהַקְּלָלָהand the cursingוּבָחַרְתָּand you will chooseבַּחַיִּיםin the lifeלְמַעַןin order thatתִּחְיֶהyou may liveאַתָּהyouוְזַרְעֶךָ׃and your seed

    I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

  20. 20

    לְאַהֲבָהto loveאֶת־יְהֹוָהthe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָyour Godלִשְׁמֹעַto hearבְּקֹלוֹHis voiceוּלְדׇבְקָה־בוֹand to cleave in HimכִּיforהוּאHeחַיֶּיךָyour lifeוְאֹרֶךְand length ofיָמֶיךָyour daysלָשֶׁבֶתto dwellעַל־הָאֲדָמָהupon the landאֲשֶׁרwhichנִשְׁבַּעsworeיְהֹוָהthe LORDלַאֲבֹתֶיךָto your ancestorsלְאַבְרָהָםunto Abrahamלְיִצְחָקfor Isaacוּלְיַעֲקֹבand to Jacobלָתֵתto giveלָהֶם׃to them

    That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
