   And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

   וּבָאוּu/VA/uand shall comeעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaon youכׇּל־הַבְּרָכוֹתkol-hab/be/ra/KHOTall the blessingsהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוְהִשִּׂיגֻךָve/his/si/GU/khaand overtake youכִּיkiifתִשְׁמַעtish/MAyou hearkenבְּקוֹלbe/KOLto the voice ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָ׃e/lo/HE/khayour God

   And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.

   בָּרוּךְba/RUKHblessedאַתָּהat/TAyouבָּעִירba/IRin the cityוּבָרוּךְu/va/RUKHand blessedאַתָּהat/TAyouבַּשָּׂדֶה׃bas/sa/DEin the field

   Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.

   בָּרוּךְba/RUKHblessedפְּרִי־בִטְנְךָpe/RI-vit/ne/KHAthe fruit of your wombוּפְרִיu/fe/RIand the fruit ofאַדְמָתְךָad/ma/te/KHAyour landוּפְרִיu/fe/RIand the fruit ofבְהֶמְתֶּךָve/hem/TE/khayour livestockשְׁגַרshe/GARthe increase ofאֲלָפֶיךָa/la/FE/khayour cattleוְעַשְׁתְּרוֹתve/ash/te/ROTand the young ofצֹאנֶךָ׃tso/NE/khayour flock

   Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.

   בָּרוּךְba/RUKHblessedטַנְאֲךָtan/a/KHAyour basketוּמִשְׁאַרְתֶּךָ׃u/mish/ar/TE/khaand your kneading trough

   Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store.

   בָּרוּךְba/RUKHblessedאַתָּהat/TAyouבְּבֹאֶךָbe/vo/E/khawhen you comeוּבָרוּךְu/va/RUKHand blessedאַתָּהat/TAyouבְּצֵאתֶךָ׃be/tse/TE/khawhen you go out

   Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.

   יִתֵּןyit/TENshall makeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־אֹיְבֶיךָet-oy/VE/khayour enemiesהַקָּמִיםhak/ka/MIMwho rise upעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaagainst youנִגָּפִיםnig/ga/FIMstruck downלְפָנֶיךָle/fa/NE/khabefore youבְּדֶרֶךְbe/DE/rekhby wayאֶחָדe/CHADoneיֵצְאוּyets/Uthey shall come outאֵלֶיךָe/LE/khaagainst youוּבְשִׁבְעָהu/ve/shiv/Aand by sevenדְרָכִיםde/ra/KHIMwaysיָנוּסוּya/NU/suthey shall fleeלְפָנֶיךָ׃le/fa/NE/khabefore you

   The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.

   יְצַוye/TSAVshall commandיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאִתְּךָit/te/KHAwith youאֶת־הַבְּרָכָהet-hab/be/ra/KHAthe blessingבַּאֲסָמֶיךָba/a/sa/ME/khain your barnsוּבְכֹלu/ve/KHOLand in allמִשְׁלַחmish/LACHundertaking ofיָדֶךָya/DE/khayour handוּבֵרַכְךָu/ve/rakh/KHAand He shall bless youבָּאָרֶץba/A/retsin the landאֲשֶׁר־יְהֹוָהa/SHER-Adonaiwhich the LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godנֹתֵןno/TENis givingלָךְ׃lakhto you

   The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

9. 9

   יְקִימְךָye/ki/me/KHAshall establish youיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלוֹlofor Himselfלְעַםle/AMa peopleקָדוֹשׁka/DOSHholyכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasנִשְׁבַּע־לָךְnish/BA-lakhHe has sworn to youכִּיkiifתִשְׁמֹרtish/MORyou keepאֶת־מִצְוֺתet-mits/VOTthe commandments ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godוְהָלַכְתָּve/ha/lakh/TAand you will walkבִּדְרָכָיו׃bid/ra/KHAYVin His ways

   The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways.

10. 10

    וְרָאוּve/ra/Uand shall seeכׇּל־עַמֵּיkol-am/MEall the peoples ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthכִּיkithatשֵׁםshemthe name ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDנִקְרָאnik/RAis calledעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaupon youוְיָרְאוּve/ya/re/Uand they shall be afraidמִמֶּךָּ׃mim/MEK/kaof you

    And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee.

11. 11

    וְהוֹתִרְךָve/ho/tir/KHAand shall make you aboundיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלְטוֹבָהle/to/VAfor goodבִּפְרִיbif/RIin the fruit ofבִטְנְךָvit/ne/KHAyour wombוּבִפְרִיu/vif/RIand in the fruit ofבְהֶמְתְּךָve/hem/te/KHAyour livestockוּבִפְרִיu/vif/RIand in the fruit ofאַדְמָתֶךָad/ma/TE/khayour landעַלalinהָאֲדָמָהha/a/da/MAthe landאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנִשְׁבַּעnish/BAsworeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלַאֲבֹתֶיךָla/a/vo/TE/khato your fathersלָתֶתLA/tetto giveלָךְ׃lakhto you

    And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

    יִפְתַּחyif/TACHshall openיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלְךָle/KHAto youאֶת־אוֹצָרוֹet-o/tsa/ROHis treasuryהַטּוֹבhat/TOVgoodאֶת־הַשָּׁמַיִםet-hash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensלָתֵתla/TETto giveמְטַר־אַרְצְךָme/TAR-ar/tse/KHAthe rain of your landבְּעִתּוֹbe/it/TOin its timeוּלְבָרֵךְu/le/va/REKHand to blessאֵת־כׇּל־מַעֲשֵׂהet-kol-ma/a/SEall the work ofיָדֶךָya/DE/khayour handוְהִלְוִיתָve/hil/VI/taand you shall lend toגּוֹיִםgo/YIMnationsרַבִּיםrab/BIMmanyוְאַתָּהve/at/TAand youלֹאlonotתִלְוֶה׃til/VEshall borrow

    The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.

13. 13

    וּנְתָנְךָu/ne/ta/ne/KHAand will set youיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלְרֹאשׁle/ROSHthe headוְלֹאve/LOand notלְזָנָבle/za/NAVthe tailוְהָיִיתָve/ha/YI/taand you shall beרַקrakonlyלְמַעְלָהle/MA/laaboveוְלֹאve/LOand notתִהְיֶהtih/YEshall you beלְמָטָּהle/MAT/tabeneathכִּי־תִשְׁמַעki-tish/MAif you hearkenאֶל־מִצְוֺתel-mits/VOTto the commandments ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIמְצַוְּךָme/tsav/ve/KHAcommand youהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthis dayלִשְׁמֹרlish/MORto keepוְלַעֲשׂוֹת׃ve/la/a/SOTand to do

    And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

14. 14

    וְלֹאve/LOand notתָסוּרta/SURyou shall turn asideמִכׇּל־הַדְּבָרִיםmik/KOL-had/de/va/RIMfrom all the wordsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIמְצַוֶּהme/tsav/VEcommandאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthis dayיָמִיןya/MINto the rightוּשְׂמֹאולus/MOLor leftלָלֶכֶתla/LE/khetto goאַחֲרֵיa/cha/REafterאֱלֹהִים־אֲחֵרִיםe/lo/HIM-a/che/RIMother godsלְעׇבְדָם׃le/ov/DAMto serve them

    And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

15. 15

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAbut it shall beאִם־לֹאim-loif notתִשְׁמַעtish/MAyou hearkenבְּקוֹלbe/KOLto the voice ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godלִשְׁמֹרlish/MORto keepלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto doאֶת־כׇּל־מִצְוֺתָיוet-kol-mits/vo/TAYVall His commandmentsוְחֻקֹּתָיוve/chuk/ko/TAYVand His statutesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIמְצַוְּךָme/tsav/ve/KHAcommand youהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthis dayוּבָאוּu/VA/uand shall comeעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaupon youכׇּל־הַקְּלָלוֹתkol-hak/ke/la/LOTall the cursesהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוְהִשִּׂיגוּךָ׃ve/his/si/GU/khaand overtake you

    But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:

16. 16

    אָרוּרa/RURcursedאַתָּהat/TAyouבָּעִירba/IRin the cityוְאָרוּרve/a/RURand cursedאַתָּהat/TAyouבַּשָּׂדֶה׃bas/sa/DEin the field

    Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field.

    יְשַׁלַּחye/shal/LACHshall sendיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבְּךָbe/KHAon youאֶת־הַמְּאֵרָהet-ham/me/e/RAcursingאֶת־הַמְּהוּמָהet-ham/me/hu/MAconfusionוְאֶת־הַמִּגְעֶרֶתve/ET-ham/mig/E/retand the rebukeבְּכׇל־מִשְׁלַחbe/KHOL-mish/LACHin every undertaking ofיָדְךָya/de/KHAyour handאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatתַּעֲשֶׂהta/a/SEyou doעַדaduntilהִשָּׁמֶדְךָhish/sha/med/KHAyou are destroyedוְעַד־אֲבׇדְךָve/AD-a/vod/KHAand until you perishמַהֵרma/HERquicklyמִפְּנֵיmip/pe/NEbecause ofרֹעַRO/athe evil ofמַעֲלָלֶיךָma/a/la/LE/khayour deedsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERby whichעֲזַבְתָּנִי׃a/zav/TA/niyou have forsaken Me

    The LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.

21. 21

    יַדְבֵּקyad/BEKshall make clingיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבְּךָbe/KHAto youאֶת־הַדָּבֶרet-had/DA/verthe pestilenceעַדaduntilכַּלֹּתוֹkal/lo/TOit has consumedאֹתְךָot/KHAyouמֵעַלme/ALfromהָאֲדָמָהha/a/da/MAthe landאֲשֶׁר־אַתָּהa/SHER-at/TAwhich youבָא־שָׁמָּהva-SHAM/maare going in thereלְרִשְׁתָּהּ׃le/rish/TAto possess it

    The LORD shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it.

22. 22

    יַכְּכָהyak/ke/KHAshall strike youיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבַּשַּׁחֶפֶתbash/sha/CHE/fetwith consumptionוּבַקַּדַּחַתu/vak/kad/DA/chatand with feverוּבַדַּלֶּקֶתu/vad/dal/LE/ketand with inflammationוּבַחַרְחֻרu/va/char/CHURand with burningוּבַחֶרֶבu/va/CHE/revand with the swordוּבַשִּׁדָּפוֹןu/vash/shid/da/FONand with blightוּבַיֵּרָקוֹןu/vay/ye/ra/KONand with mildewוּרְדָפוּךָu/re/da/FU/khaand they shall pursue youעַדaduntilאׇבְדֶךָ׃ov/de/KHAyou perish

    The LORD shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish.

23. 23

    וְהָיוּve/ha/YUand shall beשָׁמֶיךָsha/ME/khayour heavensאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isעַל־רֹאשְׁךָal-ro/she/KHAover your headנְחֹשֶׁתne/CHO/shetbronzeוְהָאָרֶץve/ha/A/retsand the earthאֲשֶׁר־תַּחְתֶּיךָa/SHER-tach/TE/khathat is under youבַּרְזֶל׃bar/ZELiron

    And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron.

24. 24

    יִתֵּןyit/TENshall makeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־מְטַרet-me/TARthe rain ofאַרְצְךָar/tse/KHAyour landאָבָקa/VAKpowderוְעָפָרve/a/FARand dustמִן־הַשָּׁמַיִםmin-hash/sha/MA/yimfrom heavenיֵרֵדye/REDit shall come downעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaon youעַדaduntilהִשָּׁמְדָךְ׃hish/sha/me/DAKHyou are destroyed

    The LORD shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

25. 25

    יִתֶּנְךָyit/ten/KHAshall cause youיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDנִגָּףnig/GAFto be struck downלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeאֹיְבֶיךָoy/VE/khayour enemiesבְּדֶרֶךְbe/DE/rekhby wayאֶחָדe/CHADoneתֵּצֵאte/TSEyou shall go outאֵלָיוe/LAYVagainst themוּבְשִׁבְעָהu/ve/shiv/Aand by sevenדְרָכִיםde/ra/KHIMwaysתָּנוּסta/NUSyou shall fleeלְפָנָיוle/fa/NAYVbefore themוְהָיִיתָve/ha/YI/taand you shall becomeלְזַעֲוָהle/za/a/VAa horrorלְכֹלle/KHOLto allמַמְלְכוֹתmam/le/KHOTthe kingdoms ofהָאָרֶץ׃ha/A/retsthe earth

    The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.

26. 26

    וְהָיְתָהve/ha/ye/TAand shall beנִבְלָתְךָniv/la/te/KHAyour carcassלְמַאֲכָלle/ma/a/KHALfoodלְכׇל־עוֹףle/KHOL-offor all the birds ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensוּלְבֶהֱמַתu/le/ve/he/MATand for the beasts ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthוְאֵיןve/ENand there is noמַחֲרִיד׃ma/cha/RIDone to frighten them away

    And thy carcase shall be meat unto all fowls of the air, and unto the beasts of the earth, and no man shall fray them away.

27. 27

    יַכְּכָהyak/ke/KHAshall strike youיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבִּשְׁחִיןbish/CHINwith the boil ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimEgypt[וּבַטְּחֹרִים]u/vat/te/cho/RIMand with tumorsוּבַגָּרָבu/vag/ga/RAVand with the scabוּבֶחָרֶסu/ve/CHA/resand with the itchאֲשֶׁרa/SHERof whichלֹא־תוּכַלlo-tu/KHALyou cannotלְהֵרָפֵא׃le/he/ra/FEbe healed

    The LORD will smite thee with the botch of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed.

    יַכְּכָהyak/ke/KHAshall strike youיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבְּשִׁגָּעוֹןbe/shig/ga/ONwith madnessוּבְעִוָּרוֹןu/ve/iv/va/RONand with blindnessוּבְתִמְהוֹןu/ve/tim/HONand with confusion ofלֵבָב׃le/VAVheart

    The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart:

29. 29

    וְהָיִיתָve/ha/YI/taand you shall beמְמַשֵּׁשׁme/mash/SHESHgropingבַּצׇּהֳרַיִםbats/tso/ho/RA/yimat noondayכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasיְמַשֵּׁשׁye/mash/SHESHgropesהַעִוֵּרha/iv/VERthe blindבָּאֲפֵלָהba/a/fe/LAin darknessוְלֹאve/LOand notתַצְלִיחַtats/LI/achyou shall prosper inאֶת־דְּרָכֶיךָet-de/ra/KHE/khayour waysוְהָיִיתָve/ha/YI/taand you shall beאַךְakhonlyעָשׁוּקa/SHUKoppressedוְגָזוּלve/ga/ZULand robbedכׇּל־הַיָּמִיםkol-hay/ya/MIMalwaysוְאֵיןve/ENand no oneמוֹשִׁיעַ׃mo/SHI/ashall save

    And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee.

30. 30

    אִשָּׁהish/SHAa wifeתְאָרֵשׂte/a/RESyou shall betrothוְאִישׁve/ISHand a manאַחֵרa/CHERother[יִשְׁכָּבֶנָּה]yish/ka/ven/NAshall lie with herבַּיִתBA/yita houseתִּבְנֶהtiv/NEyou shall buildוְלֹא־תֵשֵׁבve/LO-te/SHEVand you shall not dwellבּוֹboin itכֶּרֶםKE/rema vineyardתִּטַּעtit/TAyou shall plantוְלֹאve/LOand notתְחַלְּלֶנּוּ׃te/chal/le/len/NUuse it

    Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build an house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof.

31. 31

    שׁוֹרְךָshor/KHAyour oxטָבוּחַta/VU/achslaughteredלְעֵינֶיךָle/e/NE/khabefore your eyesוְלֹאve/LOand notתֹאכַלto/KHALyou shall eatמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuof itחֲמֹרְךָcha/mor/KHAyour donkeyגָּזוּלga/ZULtaken by forceמִלְּפָנֶיךָmil/le/fa/NE/khafrom before youוְלֹאve/LOand notיָשׁוּבya/SHUVshall be returnedלָךְlakhto youצֹאנְךָtso/ne/KHAyour flockנְתֻנוֹתne/tu/NOTgivenלְאֹיְבֶיךָle/oy/VE/khato your enemiesוְאֵיןve/ENand there shall be noלְךָle/KHAfor youמוֹשִׁיעַ׃mo/SHI/aone to save

    Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them.

    בָּנֶיךָba/NE/khayour sonsוּבְנֹתֶיךָu/ve/no/TE/khaand your daughtersנְתֻנִיםne/tu/NIMgivenלְעַםle/AMto a peopleאַחֵרa/CHERanotherוְעֵינֶיךָve/e/NE/khaand your eyesרֹאוֹתro/OTshall lookוְכָלוֹתve/kha/LOTand fail with longingאֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMfor themכׇּל־הַיּוֹםkol-hay/YOMall the dayוְאֵיןve/ENand there is noלְאֵלle/ELpower inיָדֶךָ׃ya/DE/khayour hand

    Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long: and there shall be no might in thine hand.

33. 33

    פְּרִיpe/RIthe fruit ofאַדְמָתְךָad/ma/te/KHAyour landוְכׇל־יְגִיעֲךָve/KHOL-ye/gi/a/KHAand all your laborיֹאכַלyo/KHALhe shall eatעַםama peopleאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichלֹא־יָדָעְתָּlo-ya/DA/tayou have not knownוְהָיִיתָve/ha/YI/taand you shall beרַקrakonlyעָשׁוּקa/SHUKoppressedוְרָצוּץve/ra/TSUTSand crushedכׇּל־הַיָּמִים׃kol-hay/ya/MIMall the days

    The fruit of thy land, and all thy labours, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed alway:

34. 34

    וְהָיִיתָve/ha/YI/taand you shall beמְשֻׁגָּעme/shug/GAdriven madמִמַּרְאֵהmim/mar/Eby the sight ofעֵינֶיךָe/NE/khayour eyesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichתִּרְאֶה׃tir/Eyou shall see

    So that thou shalt be mad for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.

35. 35

    יַכְּכָהyak/ke/KHAshall strike youיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבִּשְׁחִיןbish/CHINwith a boilרָעraevilעַל־הַבִּרְכַּיִםal-hab/bir/KA/yimon the kneesוְעַל־הַשֹּׁקַיִםve/AL-hash/sho/KA/yimand on the legsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERof whichלֹא־תוּכַלlo-tu/KHALyou cannotלְהֵרָפֵאle/he/ra/FEbe healedמִכַּףmik/KAFfrom the sole ofרַגְלְךָrag/le/KHAyour footוְעַדve/ADtoקׇדְקֳדֶךָ׃kod/ko/de/KHAthe crown of your head

    The LORD shall smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore botch that cannot be healed, from the sole of thy foot unto the top of thy head.

36. 36

    יוֹלֵךְyo/LEKHshall bringיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֹתְךָot/KHAyouוְאֶת־מַלְכְּךָve/ET-mal/ke/KHAand your kingאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomתָּקִיםta/KIMyou will set upעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaover youאֶל־גּוֹיel-goyto a nationאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichלֹא־יָדַעְתָּlo-ya/DA/tahave not knownאַתָּהat/TAyouוַאֲבֹתֶיךָva/a/vo/TE/khaand your fathersוְעָבַדְתָּve/a/VAD/taand you shall serveשָּׁםshamthereאֱלֹהִים־אֲחֵרִיםe/lo/HIM-a/che/RIMother godsעֵץetswoodוָאָבֶן׃va/A/venand stone

    The LORD shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone.

37. 37

    וְהָיִיתָve/ha/YI/taand you shall becomeלְשַׁמָּהle/sham/MAan astonishmentלְמָשָׁלle/ma/SHALa proverbוְלִשְׁנִינָהve/lish/ni/NAand a tauntבְּכֹלbe/KHOLamong allהָעַמִּיםha/am/MIMthe peoplesאֲשֶׁר־יְנַהֶגְךָa/SHER-ye/na/heg/KHAwhere will lead youיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDשָׁמָּה׃SHAM/mathere

    And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither the LORD shall lead thee.

38. 38

    זֶרַעZE/raseedרַבravmuchתּוֹצִיאto/TSIyou shall carry out toהַשָּׂדֶהhas/sa/DEthe fieldוּמְעַטu/me/ATand littleתֶּאֱסֹףte/e/SOFyou shall gather inכִּיkiforיַחְסְלֶנּוּyach/se/LEN/nushall consume itהָאַרְבֶּה׃ha/ar/BEthe locust

    Thou shalt carry much seed out into the field, and shalt gather but little in; for the locust shall consume it.

39. 39

    כְּרָמִיםke/ra/MIMvineyardsתִּטַּעtit/TAyou shall plantוְעָבָדְתָּve/a/VAD/taand tendוְיַיִןve/YA/yinbut the wineלֹא־תִשְׁתֶּהlo-tish/TEyou shall not drinkוְלֹאve/LOnorתֶאֱגֹרte/e/GORgatherכִּיkiforתֹאכְלֶנּוּto/khe/LEN/nushall eat themהַתֹּלָעַת׃hat/to/LA/atthe worm

    Thou shalt plant vineyards, and dress them, but shalt neither drink of the wine, nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them.

40. 40

    זֵיתִיםze/TIMolive treesיִהְיוּyih/YUshall beלְךָle/KHAto youבְּכׇל־גְּבוּלֶךָbe/KHOL-ge/vu/LE/khathroughout all your territoryוְשֶׁמֶןve/SHE/menbut with oilלֹאlonotתָסוּךְta/SUKHyou shall anoint yourselfכִּיkiforיִשַּׁלyish/SHALshall drop offזֵיתֶךָ׃ze/TE/khayour olives

    Thou shalt have olive trees throughout all thy coasts, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil; for thine olive shall cast his fruit.

41. 41

    בָּנִיםba/NIMsonsוּבָנוֹתu/va/NOTand daughtersתּוֹלִידto/LIDyou shall begetוְלֹא־יִהְיוּve/LO-yih/YUbut they shall not beלָךְlakhyoursכִּיkiforיֵלְכוּyel/KHUthey shall goבַּשֶּׁבִי׃bash/SHE/viinto captivity

    Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity.

42. 42

    כׇּל־עֵצְךָkol-ets/KHAall your treesוּפְרִיu/fe/RIand the fruit ofאַדְמָתֶךָad/ma/TE/khayour landיְיָרֵשׁye/ya/RESHshall possessהַצְּלָצַל׃hats/tse/la/TSALthe locust

    All thy trees and fruit of thy land shall the locust consume.

43. 43

    הַגֵּרhag/GERthe strangerאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwho isבְּקִרְבְּךָbe/kir/be/KHAamong youיַעֲלֶהya/a/LEshall riseעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaabove youמַעְלָהMA/lahigherמָּעְלָהMA/lahigherוְאַתָּהve/at/TAand youתֵרֵדte/REDshall come downמַטָּהMAT/talowerמָּטָּה׃MAT/talower

    The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low.

44. 44

    הוּאhuheיַלְוְךָyal/ve/KHAshall lend to youוְאַתָּהve/at/TAand youלֹאlonotתַלְוֶנּוּtal/VEN/nushall lend to himהוּאhuheיִהְיֶהyih/YEshall beלְרֹאשׁle/ROSHthe headוְאַתָּהve/at/TAand youתִּהְיֶהtih/YEshall beלְזָנָב׃le/za/NAVthe tail

    He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.

45. 45

    וּבָאוּu/VA/uand shall comeעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaupon youכׇּל־הַקְּלָלוֹתkol-hak/ke/la/LOTall the cursesהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוּרְדָפוּךָu/re/da/FU/khaand shall pursue youוְהִשִּׂיגוּךָve/his/si/GU/khaand overtake youעַדaduntilהִשָּׁמְדָךְhish/sha/me/DAKHyou are destroyedכִּי־לֹאki-lobecause notשָׁמַעְתָּsha/MA/tayou hearkenedבְּקוֹלbe/KOLto the voice ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godלִשְׁמֹרlish/MORto keepמִצְוֺתָיוmits/vo/TAYVHis commandmentsוְחֻקֹּתָיוve/chuk/ko/TAYVand His statutesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichצִוָּךְ׃tsiv/VAKHHe commanded you

    Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:

46. 46

    וְהָיוּve/ha/YUand they shall beבְךָve/KHAupon youלְאוֹתle/OTfor a signוּלְמוֹפֵתu/le/mo/FETand for a wonderוּבְזַרְעֲךָu/ve/zar/a/KHAand in your seedעַד־עוֹלָם׃ad-o/LAMforever

    And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.

47. 47

    תַּחַתTA/chatbecauseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹא־עָבַדְתָּlo-a/VAD/tayou did not serveאֶת־יְהֹוָהet-Adonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godבְּשִׂמְחָהbe/sim/CHAwith joyוּבְטוּבu/ve/TUVand with gladness ofלֵבָבle/VAVheartמֵרֹבme/ROVfor the abundance ofכֹּל׃kolall things

    Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;

48. 48

    וְעָבַדְתָּve/a/VAD/tatherefore you shall serveאֶת־אֹיְבֶיךָet-oy/VE/khayour enemiesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomיְשַׁלְּחֶנּוּye/shal/le/CHEN/nushall sendיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבָּךְbakhagainst youבְּרָעָבbe/ra/AVin hungerוּבְצָמָאu/ve/tsa/MAand in thirstוּבְעֵירֹםu/ve/e/ROMand in nakednessוּבְחֹסֶרu/ve/CHO/serand in want ofכֹּלkolall thingsוְנָתַןve/na/TANand He shall putעֹלola yoke ofבַּרְזֶלbar/ZELironעַל־צַוָּארֶךָal-tsav/va/RE/khaupon your neckעַדaduntilהִשְׁמִידוֹhish/mi/DOHe has destroyedאֹתָךְ׃o/TAKHyou

    Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.

49. 49

    יִשָּׂאyis/SAshall bringיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaagainst youגּוֹיgoya nationמֵרָחֹקme/ra/CHOKfrom farמִקְצֵהmik/TSEfrom the end ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasיִדְאֶהyid/Efliesהַנָּשֶׁרhan/NA/sherthe eagleגּוֹיgoya nationאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichלֹא־תִשְׁמַעlo-tish/MAyou shall not understandלְשֹׁנוֹ׃le/sho/NOits tongue

    The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand;

50. 50

    גּוֹיgoya nationעַזazfierce ofפָּנִיםpa/NIMcountenanceאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichלֹא־יִשָּׂאlo-yis/SAshall not regardפָנִיםfa/NIMthe personלְזָקֵןle/za/KENof the oldוְנַעַרve/NA/arand to the youngלֹאlonotיָחֹן׃ya/CHONshow favor

    A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young:

51. 51

    וְאָכַלve/a/KHALand it shall eatפְּרִיpe/RIthe fruit ofבְהֶמְתְּךָve/hem/te/KHAyour livestockוּפְרִי־אַדְמָתְךָu/fe/RI-ad/ma/te/KHAand the fruit of your groundעַדaduntilהִשָּׁמְדָךְhish/sha/me/DAKHyou are destroyedאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichלֹא־יַשְׁאִירlo-yash/IRshall not leaveלְךָle/KHAyouדָּגָןda/GANgrainתִּירוֹשׁti/ROSHnew wineוְיִצְהָרve/yits/HARor oilשְׁגַרshe/GARthe increase ofאֲלָפֶיךָa/la/FE/khayour cattleוְעַשְׁתְּרֹתve/ash/te/ROTor the young ofצֹאנֶךָtso/NE/khayour flockעַדaduntilהַאֲבִידוֹha/a/vi/DOit has destroyedאֹתָךְ׃o/TAKHyou

    And he shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruit of thy land, until thou be destroyed: which also shall not leave thee either corn, wine, or oil, or the increase of thy kine, or flocks of thy sheep, until he have destroyed thee.

52. 52

    וְהֵצַרve/he/TSARand it shall besiegeלְךָle/KHAyouבְּכׇל־שְׁעָרֶיךָbe/KHOL-she/a/RE/khain all your gatesעַדaduntilרֶדֶתRE/detcome downחֹמֹתֶיךָcho/mo/TE/khayour wallsהַגְּבֹהֹתhag/ge/vo/HOThighוְהַבְּצֻרוֹתve/hab/be/tsu/ROTand fortifiedאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאַתָּהat/TAyouבֹּטֵחַbo/TE/achtrustבָּהֵןba/HENin themבְּכׇל־אַרְצֶךָbe/KHOL-ar/TSE/khathroughout all your landוְהֵצַרve/he/TSARand it shall besiegeלְךָle/KHAyouבְּכׇל־שְׁעָרֶיךָbe/KHOL-she/a/RE/khain all your gatesבְּכׇל־אַרְצְךָbe/KHOL-ar/tse/KHAin all your landאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנָתַןna/TANhas givenיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godלָךְ׃lakhto you

    And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout all thy land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.

53. 53

    וְאָכַלְתָּve/a/khal/TAand you shall eatפְרִי־בִטְנְךָfe/RI-vit/ne/KHAthe fruit of your wombבְּשַׂרbe/SARthe flesh ofבָּנֶיךָba/NE/khayour sonsוּבְנֹתֶיךָu/ve/no/TE/khaand your daughtersאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנָתַן־לְךָna/TAN-le/KHAhas given youיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godבְּמָצוֹרbe/ma/TSORin the siegeוּבְמָצוֹקu/ve/ma/TSOKand in the distressאֲשֶׁר־יָצִיקa/SHER-ya/TSIKwith which shall distressלְךָle/KHAyouאֹיְבֶךָ׃oy/VE/khayour enemy

    And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God hath given thee, in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee:

54. 54

    הָאִישׁha/ISHthe manהָרַךְha/RAKHwho is tenderבְּךָbe/KHAamong youוְהֶעָנֹגve/he/a/NOGand delicateמְאֹדme/ODveryתֵּרַעte/RAshall be evilעֵינוֹe/NOhis eyeבְאָחִיוve/a/CHIVtoward his brotherוּבְאֵשֶׁתu/ve/E/shetand toward the wife ofחֵיקוֹche/KOhis bosomוּבְיֶתֶרu/ve/YE/terand toward the rest ofבָּנָיוba/NAYVhis sonsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomיוֹתִיר׃yo/TIRhe leaves

    So that the man that is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave:

55. 55

    מִתֵּתmit/TETso that he will not giveלְאַחַדle/a/CHADto anyמֵהֶםme/HEMof themמִבְּשַׂרmib/be/SARfrom the flesh ofבָּנָיוba/NAYVhis sonsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomיֹאכֵלyo/KHELhe eatsמִבְּלִיmib/be/LIbecause notהִשְׁאִיר־לוֹhish/IR-lois left himכֹּלkolanythingבְּמָצוֹרbe/ma/TSORin the siegeוּבְמָצוֹקu/ve/ma/TSOKand in the distressאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwith whichיָצִיקya/TSIKshall distressלְךָle/KHAyouאֹיִבְךָo/yiv/KHAyour enemyבְּכׇל־שְׁעָרֶיךָ׃be/KHOL-she/a/RE/khain all your gates

    So that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom he shall eat: because he hath nothing left him in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee in all thy gates.

56. 56

    הָרַכָּהha/rak/KAthe tender womanבְךָve/KHAamong youוְהָעֲנֻגָּהve/ha/a/nug/GAand delicate womanאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoלֹא־נִסְּתָהlo-nis/se/TAwould not ventureכַף־רַגְלָהּkhaf-rag/LAthe sole of her footהַצֵּגhats/TSEGto setעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retson the groundמֵהִתְעַנֵּגme/hit/an/NEGfor delicatenessוּמֵרֹךְu/me/ROKHand tendernessתֵּרַעte/RAshall be evilעֵינָהּe/NAher eyeבְּאִישׁbe/ISHtoward the husband ofחֵיקָהּche/KAher bosomוּבִבְנָהּu/viv/NAand toward her sonוּבְבִתָּהּ׃u/ve/vit/TAand toward her daughter

    The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter,

57. 57

    וּבְשִׁלְיָתָהּu/ve/shil/ya/TAand toward her afterbirthהַיּוֹצֵתhay/yo/TSETthat comes outמִבֵּיןmib/BENfrom betweenרַגְלֶיהָrag/LE/haher feetוּבְבָנֶיהָu/ve/va/NE/haand toward her childrenאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhomתֵּלֵדte/LEDshe bearsכִּי־תֹאכְלֵםki-to/khe/LEMbecause she will eat themבְּחֹסֶר־כֹּלbe/CHO/ser-kolfor want of all thingsבַּסָּתֶרbas/SA/terin secretבְּמָצוֹרbe/ma/TSORin the siegeוּבְמָצוֹקu/ve/ma/TSOKand in the distressאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwith whichיָצִיקya/TSIKshall distressלְךָle/KHAyouאֹיִבְךָo/yiv/KHAyour enemyבִּשְׁעָרֶיךָ׃bish/a/RE/khawithin your gates

    And toward her young one that cometh out from between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly in the siege and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in thy gates.

58. 58

    אִם־לֹאim-loif notתִשְׁמֹרtish/MORyou keepלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto doאֶת־כׇּל־דִּבְרֵיet-kol-div/REall the words ofהַתּוֹרָהhat/to/RAthe lawהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisהַכְּתֻבִיםhak/ke/tu/VIMthat are writtenבַּסֵּפֶרbas/SE/ferin the bookהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisלְיִרְאָהle/yir/Athat you may fearאֶת־הַשֵּׁםet-hash/SHEMthe nameהַנִּכְבָּדhan/nikh/BADthe gloriousוְהַנּוֹרָאve/han/no/RAand the awesomeהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisאֵת־יְהֹוָהet-Adonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָ׃e/lo/HE/khayour God

    If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;

59. 59

    וְהִפְלָאve/hif/LAthen shall make extraordinaryיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־מַכֹּתְךָet-mak/kot/KHAyour plaguesוְאֵתve/ETandמַכּוֹתmak/KOTthe plagues ofזַרְעֶךָzar/E/khayour seedמַכּוֹתmak/KOTplaguesגְּדֹלֹתge/do/LOTgreatוְנֶאֱמָנוֹתve/ne/e/ma/NOTand lastingוׇחֳלָיִםvo/cho/LA/yimand sicknessesרָעִיםra/IMevilוְנֶאֱמָנִים׃ve/ne/e/ma/NIMand lasting

    Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.

60. 60

    וְהֵשִׁיבve/he/SHIVand He will bring backבְּךָbe/KHAupon youאֵת־כׇּל־מַדְוֵהet-kol-mad/VEall the diseases ofמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimEgyptאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיָגֹרְתָּya/GOR/tayou fearedמִפְּנֵיהֶםmip/pe/ne/HEMof themוְדָבְקוּve/da/ve/KUand they shall clingבָּךְ׃bakhto you

    Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee.

61. 61

    גַּםgamalsoכׇּל־חֳלִיkol-cho/LIevery sicknessוְכׇל־מַכָּהve/KHOL-mak/KAand every plagueאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthat isלֹאlonotכָתוּבkha/TUVwrittenבְּסֵפֶרbe/SE/ferin the book ofהַתּוֹרָהhat/to/RAthe lawהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisיַעְלֵםya/LEMwill bring themיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaupon youעַדaduntilהִשָּׁמְדָךְ׃hish/sha/me/DAKHyou are destroyed

    Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.

62. 62

    וְנִשְׁאַרְתֶּםve/nish/ar/TEMand you shall be leftבִּמְתֵיbim/TEwith menמְעָטme/ATfewתַּחַתTA/chatwhereasאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatהֱיִיתֶםhe/yi/TEMyou wereכְּכוֹכְבֵיke/khokh/VElike the stars ofהַשָּׁמַיִםhash/sha/MA/yimthe heavensלָרֹבla/ROVin multitudeכִּי־לֹאki-lobecause notשָׁמַעְתָּsha/MA/tayou hearkenedבְּקוֹלbe/KOLto the voice ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָ׃e/lo/HE/khayour God

    And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the LORD thy God.

63. 63

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beכַּאֲשֶׁר־שָׂשׂka/a/SHER-sasas rejoicedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMover youלְהֵיטִיבle/he/TIVto do good toאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouוּלְהַרְבּוֹתu/le/har/BOTand to multiplyאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouכֵּןkensoיָשִׂישׂya/SISwill rejoiceיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDעֲלֵיכֶםa/le/KHEMover youלְהַאֲבִידle/ha/a/VIDto make perishאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouוּלְהַשְׁמִידu/le/hash/MIDand to destroyאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouוְנִסַּחְתֶּםve/nis/sach/TEMand you shall be pluckedמֵעַלme/ALfrom offהָאֲדָמָהha/a/da/MAthe landאֲשֶׁר־אַתָּהa/SHER-at/TAwhich youבָא־שָׁמָּהva-SHAM/maare going in thereלְרִשְׁתָּהּ׃le/rish/TAto possess it

    And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.

64. 64

    וֶהֱפִיצְךָve/he/fi/tse/KHAand shall scatter youיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDבְּכׇל־הָעַמִּיםbe/KHOL-ha/am/MIMamong all the peoplesמִקְצֵהmik/TSEfrom the end ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthוְעַד־קְצֵהve/AD-ke/TSEeven to the end ofהָאָרֶץha/A/retsthe earthוְעָבַדְתָּve/a/VAD/taand you shall serveשָּׁםshamthereאֱלֹהִים־אֲחֵרִיםe/lo/HIM-a/che/RIMother godsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichלֹא־יָדַעְתָּlo-ya/DA/tahave not knownאַתָּהat/TAyouוַאֲבֹתֶיךָva/a/vo/TE/khaand your fathersעֵץetswoodוָאָבֶן׃va/A/venand stone

    And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.

65. 65

    וּבַגּוֹיִםu/vag/go/YIMand among the nationsהָהֵםha/HEMthoseלֹאlonotתַרְגִּיעַtar/GI/ashall you find easeוְלֹא־יִהְיֶהve/LO-yih/YEand there shall be noמָנוֹחַma/NO/achrestלְכַף־רַגְלֶךָle/KHAF-rag/LE/khafor the sole of your footוְנָתַןve/na/TANand shall giveיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלְךָle/KHAyouשָׁםshamthereלֵבleva heartרַגָּזrag/GAZtremblingוְכִלְיוֹןve/khil/YONand failing ofעֵינַיִםe/NA/yimeyesוְדַאֲבוֹןve/da/a/VONand languishing ofנָפֶשׁ׃NA/feshsoul

    And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:

66. 66

    וְהָיוּve/ha/YUand shall beחַיֶּיךָchay/YE/khayour lifeתְּלֻאִיםte/lu/IMhanging in doubtלְךָle/KHAfor youמִנֶּגֶדmin/NE/gedin frontוּפָחַדְתָּu/fa/chad/TAand you shall fearלַיְלָהLAY/lanightוְיוֹמָםve/yo/MAMand dayוְלֹאve/LOand notתַאֲמִיןta/a/MINhave assuranceבְּחַיֶּיךָ׃be/chay/YE/khaof your life

    And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:

67. 67

    בַּבֹּקֶרbab/BO/kerin the morningתֹּאמַרto/MARyou shall sayמִי־יִתֵּןmi-yit/TENwould that it wereעֶרֶבE/reveveningוּבָעֶרֶבu/va/E/revand in the eveningתֹּאמַרto/MARyou shall sayמִי־יִתֵּןmi-yit/TENwould that it wereבֹּקֶרBO/kermorningמִפַּחַדmip/PA/chadbecause of the fear ofלְבָבְךָle/va/ve/KHAyour heartאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwith whichתִּפְחָדtif/CHADyou shall fearוּמִמַּרְאֵהu/mim/mar/Eand because of the sight ofעֵינֶיךָe/NE/khayour eyesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichתִּרְאֶה׃tir/Eyou shall see

    In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.

68. 68

    וֶהֱשִׁיבְךָve/he/shi/ve/KHAand shall bring you backיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמִצְרַיִםMits/RA/yimto Egyptבׇּאֳנִיּוֹתbo/o/niy/YOTin shipsבַּדֶּרֶךְbad/DE/rekhby the wayאֲשֶׁרa/SHERof whichאָמַרְתִּיa/MAR/tiI saidלְךָle/KHAto youלֹא־תֹסִיףlo-to/SIFyou shall not againעוֹדodany moreלִרְאֹתָהּlir/o/TAsee itוְהִתְמַכַּרְתֶּםve/hit/mak/kar/TEMand you will sell yourselvesשָׁםshamthereלְאֹיְבֶיךָle/oy/VE/khato your enemiesלַעֲבָדִיםla/a/va/DIMas male servantsוְלִשְׁפָחוֹתve/lish/fa/CHOTand as female servantsוְאֵיןve/ENand no oneקֹנֶה׃ko/NEshall buy

    And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.

69. 69

    אֵלֶּהEL/letheseדִבְרֵיdiv/REthe words ofהַבְּרִיתhab/be/RITthe covenantאֲשֶׁר־צִוָּהa/SHER-tsiv/VAwhich commandedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־מֹשֶׁהet-Mo/SHEMosesלִכְרֹתlikh/ROTto makeאֶת־בְּנֵיet-be/NEwith the children ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelבְּאֶרֶץbe/E/retsin the land ofמוֹאָבMo/AVMoabמִלְּבַדmil/le/VADbesidesהַבְּרִיתhab/be/RITthe covenantאֲשֶׁר־כָּרַתa/SHER-ka/RATwhich He madeאִתָּםit/TAMwith themבְּחֹרֵב׃be/Cho/REVat Horeb

    These are the words of the covenant, which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb.
