    וַיְצַוvay/TSAVand commandedמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesוְזִקְנֵיve/zik/NEand the elders ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelאֶת־הָעָםet-ha/AMthe peopleלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingשָׁמֹרsha/MORkeepאֶת־כׇּל־הַמִּצְוָהet-kol-ham/mits/VAall the commandmentאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIמְצַוֶּהme/tsav/VEcommandאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouהַיּוֹם׃hay/YOMthis day

    And Moses with the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandments which I command you this day.

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhenתַּעַבְרוּta/av/RUyou cross overאֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּןet-Hay/yar/DENthe Jordanאֶל־הָאָרֶץel-ha/A/retsto the landאֲשֶׁר־יְהֹוָהa/SHER-Adonaiwhich the LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godנֹתֵןno/TENis givingלָךְlakhto youוַהֲקֵמֹתָva/ha/ke/mo/TAthat you shall set upלְךָle/KHAfor yourselfאֲבָנִיםa/va/NIMstonesגְּדֹלוֹתge/do/LOTlargeוְשַׂדְתָּve/sad/TAand plasterאֹתָםo/TAMthemבַּשִּׂיד׃bas/SIDwith plaster

    And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over Jordan unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaister them with plaister:

    וְכָתַבְתָּve/kha/tav/TAand you shall writeעֲלֵיהֶןa/le/HENon themאֶת־כׇּל־דִּבְרֵיet-kol-div/REall the words ofהַתּוֹרָהhat/to/RAthe lawהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisבְּעׇבְרֶךָbe/ov/RE/khawhen you have crossed overלְמַעַןle/MA/ansoאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatתָּבֹאta/VOyou may go inאֶל־הָאָרֶץel-ha/A/retsto the landאֲשֶׁר־יְהֹוָהa/SHER-Adonaiwhich the LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godנֹתֵןno/TENis givingלְךָle/KHAfor youאֶרֶץE/retsa landזָבַתza/VATflowing withחָלָבcha/LAVmilkוּדְבַשׁu/de/VASHand honeyכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasדִּבֶּרdib/BERhas spokenיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֵי־אֲבֹתֶיךָe/lo/HE-a/vo/TE/khathe God of your fathersלָךְ׃lakhto you

    And thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over, that thou mayest go in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, a land that floweth with milk and honey; as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee.

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beבְּעׇבְרְכֶםbe/ov/re/KHEMwhen you have crossed overאֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּןet-Hay/yar/DENthe Jordanתָּקִימוּta/KI/muyou shall set upאֶת־הָאֲבָנִיםet-ha/a/va/NIMthe stonesהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIמְצַוֶּהme/tsav/VEcommandאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthis dayבְּהַרbe/HARon mountעֵיבָלE/VALEbalוְשַׂדְתָּve/sad/TAand plasterאוֹתָםo/TAMthemבַּשִּׂיד׃bas/SIDwith plaster

    Therefore it shall be when ye be gone over Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaister them with plaister.

    וּבָנִיתָu/va/NI/taand you shall buildשָּׁםshamthereמִזְבֵּחַmiz/BE/achan altarלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godמִזְבַּחmiz/BACHan altar ofאֲבָנִיםa/va/NIMstonesלֹא־תָנִיףlo-ta/NIFyou shall not wieldעֲלֵיהֶםa/le/HEMon themבַּרְזֶל׃bar/ZELiron

    And there shalt thou build an altar unto the LORD thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up any iron tool upon them.

    אֲבָנִיםa/va/NIMof stonesשְׁלֵמוֹתshe/le/MOTwholeתִּבְנֶהtiv/NEyou shall buildאֶת־מִזְבַּחet-miz/BACHthe altar ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godוְהַעֲלִיתָve/ha/a/LI/taand offerעָלָיוa/LAYVon itעוֹלֹתo/LOTburnt offeringsלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָ׃e/lo/HE/khayour God

    Thou shalt build the altar of the LORD thy God of whole stones: and thou shalt offer burnt offerings thereon unto the LORD thy God:

    וְזָבַחְתָּve/za/vach/TAand you shall sacrificeשְׁלָמִיםshe/la/MIMpeace offeringsוְאָכַלְתָּve/a/khal/TAand you shall eatשָּׁםshamthereוְשָׂמַחְתָּve/sa/mach/TAand you will rejoiceלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָ׃e/lo/HE/khayour God

    And thou shalt offer peace offerings, and shalt eat there, and rejoice before the LORD thy God.

    וְכָתַבְתָּve/kha/tav/TAand you shall writeעַל־הָאֲבָנִיםal-ha/a/va/NIMon the stonesאֶת־כׇּל־דִּבְרֵיet-kol-div/REall the words ofהַתּוֹרָהhat/to/RAthe lawהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisבַּאֵרba/ERplainlyהֵיטֵב׃he/TEVwell

    And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly.

    וַיְדַבֵּרvay/dab/BERand spokeמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesוְהַכֹּהֲנִיםve/hak/ko/ha/NIMand the priestsהַלְוִיִּםHal/viy/YIMthe Levitesאֶלeltoכׇּל־יִשְׂרָאֵלkol-Yis/ra/ELall Israelלֵאמֹרle/MORsayingהַסְכֵּתhas/KETbe silentוּשְׁמַעu/she/MAand hearיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELO Israelהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthe dayהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisנִהְיֵיתָnih/YE/tayou have becomeלְעָםle/AMa peopleלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָ׃e/lo/HE/khayour God

    And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this day thou art become the people of the LORD thy God.

    וְשָׁמַעְתָּve/sha/ma/TAtherefore you shall hearkenבְּקוֹלbe/KOLto the voice ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godוְעָשִׂיתָve/a/SI/taand doאֶת־מִצְוֺתָוet-mits/vo/TAVHis commandmentsוְאֶת־חֻקָּיוve/ET-chuk/KAYVand His statutesאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichאָנֹכִיa/no/KHIIמְצַוְּךָme/tsav/ve/KHAcommand youהַיּוֹם׃hay/YOMthis day

    Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.

    וַיְצַוvay/TSAVand commandedמֹשֶׁהMo/SHEMosesאֶת־הָעָםet-ha/AMthe peopleבַּיּוֹםbay/YOMon the dayהַהוּאha/HUthatלֵאמֹר׃le/MORsaying

    And Moses charged the people the same day, saying,

    אֵלֶּהEL/letheseיַעַמְדוּya/am/DUshall standלְבָרֵךְle/va/REKHto blessאֶת־הָעָםet-ha/AMthe peopleעַל־הַרal-haron mountגְּרִזִיםGe/ri/ZIMGerizimבְּעׇבְרְכֶםbe/ov/re/KHEMwhen you have crossed overאֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּןet-Hay/yar/DENthe JordanשִׁמְעוֹןShim/ONSimeonוְלֵוִיve/Le/VIand LeviוִיהוּדָהVi/hu/DAand Judahוְיִשָּׂשכָרve/Yis/sash/KHARand Issacharוְיוֹסֵףve/Yo/SEFand Josephוּבִנְיָמִן׃u/Vin/ya/MINand Benjamin

    These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are come over Jordan; Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin:

  13. 13

    וְאֵלֶּהve/EL/leand theseיַעַמְדוּya/am/DUshall standעל־הַקְּלָלָהal-hak/ke/la/LAfor the curseבְּהַרbe/HARon mountעֵיבָלE/VALEbalרְאוּבֵןRe/u/VENReubenגָּדGadGadוְאָשֵׁרve/A/SHERand Asherוּזְבוּלֻןu/Ze/vu/LUNand ZebulunדָּןDanDanוְנַפְתָּלִי׃ve/Naf/ta/LIand Naphtali

    And these shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse; Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.

  14. 14

    וְעָנוּve/a/NUand shall answerהַלְוִיִּםHal/viy/YIMthe Levitesוְאָמְרוּve/a/me/RUand sayאֶל־כׇּל־אִישׁel-kol-ishto all the men ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelקוֹלkolwith a voiceרָם׃ramloud

    And the Levites shall speak, and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice,

    אָרוּרa/RURcursed isהָאִישׁha/ISHthe manאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיַעֲשֶׂהya/a/SEmakesפֶסֶלFE/sela graven imageוּמַסֵּכָהu/mas/se/KHAor a molten imageתּוֹעֲבַתto/a/VATan abomination toיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמַעֲשֵׂהma/a/SEthe work ofיְדֵיye/DEthe hands ofחָרָשׁcha/RASHthe craftsmanוְשָׂםve/SAMand sets it upבַּסָּתֶרbas/SA/terin secretוְעָנוּve/a/NUand shall answerכׇל־הָעָםkhol-ha/AMall the peopleוְאָמְרוּve/a/me/RUand sayאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

    Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.

    אָרוּרa/RURcursed isמַקְלֶהmak/LEwho dishonorsאָבִיוa/VIVhis fatherוְאִמּוֹve/im/MOand his motherוְאָמַרve/a/MARand shall sayכׇּל־הָעָםkol-ha/AMall the peopleאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

    Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

  17. 17

    אָרוּרa/RURcursed isמַסִּיגmas/SIGwho movesגְּבוּלge/VULthe boundary ofרֵעֵהוּre/E/huhis neighborוְאָמַרve/a/MARand shall sayכׇּל־הָעָםkol-ha/AMall the peopleאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

    Cursed be he that removeth his neighbour's landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen.

  18. 18

    אָרוּרa/RURcursed isמַשְׁגֶּהmash/GEwho misleadsעִוֵּרiv/VERthe blindבַּדָּרֶךְbad/DA/rekhon the wayוְאָמַרve/a/MARand shall sayכׇּל־הָעָםkol-ha/AMall the peopleאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

    Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.

    אָרוּרa/RURcursed isמַטֶּהmat/TEwho pervertsמִשְׁפַּטmish/PATthe judgment ofגֵּר־יָתוֹםger-ya/TOMthe stranger fatherlessוְאַלְמָנָהve/al/ma/NAand widowוְאָמַרve/a/MARand shall sayכׇּל־הָעָםkol-ha/AMall the peopleאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

    Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.

    אָרוּרa/RURcursed isשֹׁכֵבsho/KHEVwho liesעִם־אֵשֶׁתim-E/shetwith the wife ofאָבִיוa/VIVhis fatherכִּיkibecauseגִלָּהgil/LAhe has uncoveredכְּנַףke/NAFthe skirt ofאָבִיוa/VIVhis fatherוְאָמַרve/a/MARand shall sayכׇּל־הָעָםkol-ha/AMall the peopleאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

    Cursed be he that lieth with his father's wife; because he uncovereth his father's skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen.

  21. 21

    אָרוּרa/RURcursed isשֹׁכֵבsho/KHEVwho liesעִם־כׇּל־בְּהֵמָהim-kol-be/he/MAwith any beastוְאָמַרve/a/MARand shall sayכׇּל־הָעָםkol-ha/AMall the peopleאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

    Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen.

  22. 22

    אָרוּרa/RURcursed isשֹׁכֵבsho/KHEVwho liesעִם־אֲחֹתוֹim-a/cho/TOwith his sisterבַּת־אָבִיוbat-a/VIVthe daughter of his fatherאוֹoorבַת־אִמּוֹvat-im/MOthe daughter of his motherוְאָמַרve/a/MARand shall sayכׇּל־הָעָםkol-ha/AMall the peopleאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

    Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

  23. 23

    אָרוּרa/RURcursed isשֹׁכֵבsho/KHEVwho liesעִם־חֹתַנְתּוֹim-cho/tan/TOwith his mother-in-lawוְאָמַרve/a/MARand shall sayכׇּל־הָעָםkol-ha/AMall the peopleאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

    Cursed be he that lieth with his mother in law. And all the people shall say, Amen.

  24. 24

    אָרוּרa/RURcursed isמַכֵּהmak/KEwho strikesרֵעֵהוּre/E/huhis neighborבַּסָּתֶרbas/SA/terin secretוְאָמַרve/a/MARand shall sayכׇּל־הָעָםkol-ha/AMall the peopleאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

    Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbour secretly. And all the people shall say, Amen.

  25. 25

    אָרוּרa/RURcursed isלֹקֵחַlo/KE/achwho takesשֹׁחַדSHO/chada bribeלְהַכּוֹתle/hak/KOTto strikeנֶפֶשׁNE/fesha personדָּםdambloodנָקִיna/KIinnocentוְאָמַרve/a/MARand shall sayכׇּל־הָעָםkol-ha/AMall the peopleאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

    Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.

  26. 26

    אָרוּרa/RURcursed isאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoלֹא־יָקִיםlo-ya/KIMdoes not confirmאֶת־דִּבְרֵיet-div/REthe words ofהַתּוֹרָה־הַזֹּאתhat/to/RA-haz/ZOTthis lawלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto doאוֹתָםo/TAMthemוְאָמַרve/a/MARand shall sayכׇּל־הָעָםkol-ha/AMall the peopleאָמֵן׃a/MENamen

    Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.
