   וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beכִּי־תָבוֹאki-ta/VOwhen you comeאֶל־הָאָרֶץel-ha/A/retsinto the landאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godנֹתֵןno/TENis givingלְךָle/KHAfor youנַחֲלָהna/cha/LAas an inheritanceוִירִשְׁתָּהּvi/rish/TAand you possess itוְיָשַׁבְתָּve/ya/shav/TAand dwellבָּהּ׃bain it

   And it shall be, when thou art come in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and possessest it, and dwellest therein;

   וְלָקַחְתָּve/la/kach/TAthat you shall takeמֵרֵאשִׁיתme/re/SHITof the first ofכׇּל־פְּרִיkol-pe/RIall the fruit ofהָאֲדָמָהha/a/da/MAthe groundאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichתָּבִיאta/VIyou bring inמֵאַרְצְךָme/ar/tse/KHAfrom your landאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godנֹתֵןno/TENis givingלָךְlakhto youוְשַׂמְתָּve/sam/TAand put itבַטֶּנֶאvat/TE/nein a basketוְהָלַכְתָּve/ha/lakh/TAand goאֶל־הַמָּקוֹםel-ham/ma/KOMto the placeאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichיִבְחַרyiv/CHARshall chooseיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godלְשַׁכֵּןle/shak/KENto make dwellשְׁמוֹshe/MOHis nameשָׁם׃shamthere

   That thou shalt take of the first of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt bring of thy land that the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name there.

   וּבָאתָu/VA/taand you shall goאֶל־הַכֹּהֵןel-hak/ko/HENto the priestאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoיִהְיֶהyih/YEisבַּיָּמִיםbay/ya/MIMin the daysהָהֵםha/HEMthoseוְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand sayאֵלָיוe/LAYVto himהִגַּדְתִּיhig/GAD/tiI declareהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthis dayלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godכִּי־בָאתִיki-VA/tithat I have comeאֶל־הָאָרֶץel-ha/A/retsto the landאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנִשְׁבַּעnish/BAsworeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDלַאֲבֹתֵינוּla/a/vo/TE/nuto our fathersלָתֶתLA/tetto giveלָנוּ׃LA/nuto us

   And thou shalt go unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto the LORD thy God, that I am come unto the country which the LORD sware unto our fathers for to give us.

   וְלָקַחve/la/KACHand shall takeהַכֹּהֵןhak/ko/HENthe priestהַטֶּנֶאhat/TE/nethe basketמִיָּדֶךָmiy/ya/DE/khafrom your handוְהִנִּיחוֹve/hin/ni/CHOand set it downלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeמִזְבַּחmiz/BACHthe altar ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָ׃e/lo/HE/khayour God

   And the priest shall take the basket out of thine hand, and set it down before the altar of the LORD thy God.

   וְעָנִיתָve/a/NI/taand you shall answerוְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAand sayלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour GodאֲרַמִּיA/ram/MIa Syrianאֹבֵדo/VEDready to perishאָבִיa/VIwas my fatherוַיֵּרֶדvay/YE/redand he went downמִצְרַיְמָהMits/RAY/mato Egyptוַיָּגׇרvay/YA/gorand sojournedשָׁםshamthereבִּמְתֵיbim/TEwith menמְעָטme/ATfewוַיְהִי־שָׁםvay/HI-shamand became thereלְגוֹיle/GOYa nationגָּדוֹלga/DOLgreatעָצוּםa/TSUMmightyוָרָב׃va/RAVand numerous

   And thou shalt speak and say before the LORD thy God, A Syrian ready to perish was my father, and he went down into Egypt, and sojourned there with a few, and became there a nation, great, mighty, and populous:

   וַיָּרֵעוּvay/ya/RE/uand dealt evilly withאֹתָנוּo/TA/nuusהַמִּצְרִיםham/Mits/RIMthe Egyptiansוַיְעַנּוּנוּvay/an/NU/nuand they afflicted usוַיִּתְּנוּvay/yit/te/NUand laidעָלֵינוּa/LE/nuupon usעֲבֹדָהa/vo/DAlaborקָשָׁה׃ka/SHAhard

   And the Egyptians evil entreated us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us hard bondage:

7. 7

   וַנִּצְעַקvan/nits/AKand we cried outאֶל־יְהֹוָהel-Adonaito the LORDאֱלֹהֵיe/lo/HEthe God ofאֲבֹתֵינוּa/vo/TE/nuour fathersוַיִּשְׁמַעvay/yish/MAand heardיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֶת־קֹלֵנוּet-ko/LE/nuour voiceוַיַּרְאvay/YARand sawאֶת־עׇנְיֵנוּet-on/YE/nuour afflictionוְאֶת־עֲמָלֵנוּve/ET-a/ma/LE/nuand our toilוְאֶת־לַחֲצֵנוּ׃ve/ET-la/cha/TSE/nuand our oppression

   And when we cried unto the LORD God of our fathers, the LORD heard our voice, and looked on our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression:

   וַיּוֹצִאֵנוּvay/yo/tsi/E/nuand brought us outיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDמִמִּצְרַיִםmim/Mits/RA/yimout of Egyptבְּיָדbe/YADwith a handחֲזָקָהcha/za/KAmightyוּבִזְרֹעַu/viz/RO/aand with an armנְטוּיָהne/tu/YAoutstretchedוּבְמֹרָאu/ve/mo/RAand with terrorגָּדֹלga/DOLgreatוּבְאֹתוֹתu/ve/o/TOTand with signsוּבְמֹפְתִים׃u/ve/mof/TIMand with wonders

   And the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with great terribleness, and with signs, and with wonders:

9. 9

   וַיְבִאֵנוּvay/vi/E/nuand He has brought usאֶל־הַמָּקוֹםel-ham/ma/KOMto the placeהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisוַיִּתֶּן־לָנוּvay/YIT/ten-LA/nuand has given usאֶת־הָאָרֶץet-ha/A/retsthe landהַזֹּאתhaz/ZOTthisאֶרֶץE/retsa landזָבַתza/VATflowing withחָלָבcha/LAVmilkוּדְבָשׁ׃u/de/VASHand honey

   And he hath brought us into this place, and hath given us this land, even a land that floweth with milk and honey.

10. 10

    וְעַתָּהve/at/TAand nowהִנֵּהhin/NEbeholdהֵבֵאתִיhe/VE/tiI have broughtאֶת־רֵאשִׁיתet-re/SHITthe first ofפְּרִיpe/RIthe fruit ofהָאֲדָמָהha/a/da/MAthe groundאֲשֶׁר־נָתַתָּהa/SHER-na/TAT/tawhich You have givenלִּיlito meיְהֹוָהAdonaiO LORDוְהִנַּחְתּוֹve/hin/nach/TOand you shall set itלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godוְהִשְׁתַּחֲוִיתָve/hish/ta/cha/VI/taand worshipלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָ׃e/lo/HE/khayour God

    And now, behold, I have brought the firstfruits of the land, which thou, O LORD, hast given me. And thou shalt set it before the LORD thy God, and worship before the LORD thy God:

11. 11

    וְשָׂמַחְתָּve/sa/mach/TAand you will rejoiceבְכׇל־הַטּוֹבve/KHOL-hat/TOVin all the goodאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנָתַן־לְךָna/TAN-le/KHAhas given youיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godוּלְבֵיתֶךָu/le/ve/TE/khaand your householdאַתָּהat/TAyouוְהַלֵּוִיve/hal/Le/VIand the Leviteוְהַגֵּרve/hag/GERand the strangerאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwho isבְּקִרְבֶּךָ׃be/kir/BE/khaamong you

    And thou shalt rejoice in every good thing which the LORD thy God hath given unto thee, and unto thine house, thou, and the Levite, and the stranger that is among you.

12. 12

    כִּיkiwhenתְכַלֶּהte/khal/LEyou have finishedלַעְשֵׂרla/SERtithingאֶת־כׇּל־מַעְשַׂרet-kol-ma/SARall the tithe ofתְּבוּאָתְךָte/vu/a/te/KHAyour increaseבַּשָּׁנָהbash/sha/NAin the yearהַשְּׁלִישִׁתhash/she/li/SHITthe thirdשְׁנַתshe/NATthe year ofהַמַּעֲשֵׂרham/ma/a/SERthe titheוְנָתַתָּהve/na/tat/TAand have given itלַלֵּוִיlal/Le/VIto the Leviteלַגֵּרlag/GERto the strangerלַיָּתוֹםlay/ya/TOMto the fatherlessוְלָאַלְמָנָהve/la/al/ma/NAand to the widowוְאָכְלוּve/a/khe/LUthat they may eatבִשְׁעָרֶיךָvish/a/RE/khawithin your gatesוְשָׂבֵעוּ׃ve/sa/VE/uand be filled

    When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thine increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled;

    וְאָמַרְתָּve/a/mar/TAthen you shall sayלִפְנֵיlif/NEbeforeיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godבִּעַרְתִּיbi/AR/tiI have put awayהַקֹּדֶשׁhak/KO/deshthe holy portionמִן־הַבַּיִתmin-hab/BA/yitfrom the houseוְגַםve/GAMand alsoנְתַתִּיוne/tat/TIVhave given itלַלֵּוִיlal/Le/VIto the Leviteוְלַגֵּרve/lag/GERand to the strangerלַיָּתוֹםlay/ya/TOMto the fatherlessוְלָאַלְמָנָהve/la/al/ma/NAand to the widowכְּכׇל־מִצְוָתְךָke/KHOL-mits/va/te/KHAaccording to all Your commandmentאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichצִוִּיתָנִיtsiv/vi/TA/niYou commanded meלֹא־עָבַרְתִּיlo-a/VAR/tiI have not transgressedמִמִּצְוֺתֶיךָmim/mits/vo/TE/khaany of Your commandmentsוְלֹאve/LOnorשָׁכָחְתִּי׃sha/KHACH/tihave I forgotten

    Then thou shalt say before the LORD thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandments which thou hast commanded me: I have not transgressed thy commandments, neither have I forgotten them:

14. 14

    לֹא־אָכַלְתִּיlo-a/KHAL/tiI have not eatenבְאֹנִיve/o/NIin my mourningמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuof itוְלֹא־בִעַרְתִּיve/LO-vi/AR/tinor have I put awayמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuof itבְּטָמֵאbe/ta/MEwhile uncleanוְלֹא־נָתַתִּיve/LO-na/TAT/tinor givenמִמֶּנּוּmim/MEN/nuof itלְמֵתle/METfor the deadשָׁמַעְתִּיsha/MA/tiI have hearkenedבְּקוֹלbe/KOLto the voice ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהָיe/lo/HAYmy Godעָשִׂיתִיa/SI/tiI have doneכְּכֹלke/KHOLaccording to allאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichצִוִּיתָנִי׃tsiv/vi/TA/niYou commanded me

    I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I taken away ought thereof for any unclean use, nor given ought thereof for the dead: but I have hearkened to the voice of the LORD my God, and have done according to all that thou hast commanded me.

15. 15

    הַשְׁקִיפָהhash/ki/FAlook downמִמְּעוֹןmim/me/ONfrom the dwelling ofקׇדְשְׁךָkod/she/KHAYour holinessמִן־הַשָּׁמַיִםmin-hash/sha/MA/yimfrom heavenוּבָרֵךְu/va/REKHand blessאֶת־עַמְּךָet-am/me/KHAYour peopleאֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵלet-Yis/ra/ELIsraelוְאֵתve/ETandהָאֲדָמָהha/a/da/MAthe landאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichנָתַתָּהna/TAT/taYou gaveלָנוּLA/nuto usכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasנִשְׁבַּעְתָּnish/BA/taYou sworeלַאֲבֹתֵינוּla/a/vo/TE/nuto our fathersאֶרֶץE/retsa landזָבַתza/VATflowing withחָלָבcha/LAVmilkוּדְבָשׁ׃u/de/VASHand honey

    Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

16. 16

    הַיּוֹםhay/YOMthe dayהַזֶּהhaz/ZEthisיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godמְצַוְּךָme/tsav/ve/KHAcommands youלַעֲשׂוֹתla/a/SOTto doאֶת־הַחֻקִּיםet-ha/chuk/KIMthe statutesהָאֵלֶּהha/EL/letheseוְאֶת־הַמִּשְׁפָּטִיםve/ET-ham/mish/pa/TIMand the judgmentsוְשָׁמַרְתָּve/sha/mar/TAand you will keepוְעָשִׂיתָve/a/SI/taand doאוֹתָםo/TAMthemבְּכׇל־לְבָבְךָbe/KHOL-le/va/ve/KHAwith all your heartוּבְכׇל־נַפְשֶׁךָ׃u/ve/KHOL-naf/SHE/khaand with all your soul

    This day the LORD thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and judgments: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

    אֶת־יְהֹוָהet-Adonaithe LORDהֶאֱמַרְתָּhe/e/MAR/tayou have declaredהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthis dayלִהְיוֹתlih/YOTto beלְךָle/KHAyourלֵאלֹהִיםle/lo/HIMGodוְלָלֶכֶתve/la/LE/khetand that you would walkבִּדְרָכָיוbid/ra/KHAYVin His waysוְלִשְׁמֹרve/lish/MORand keepחֻקָּיוchuk/KAYVHis statutesוּמִצְוֺתָיוu/mits/vo/TAYVand His commandmentsוּמִשְׁפָּטָיוu/mish/pa/TAYVand His judgmentsוְלִשְׁמֹעַve/lish/MO/aand hearkenבְּקֹלוֹ׃be/ko/LOto His voice

    Thou hast avouched the LORD this day to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to hearken unto his voice:

18. 18

    וַיהֹוָהve-Adonaiand the LORDהֶאֱמִירְךָhe/e/mi/re/KHAhas declared youהַיּוֹםhay/YOMthis dayלִהְיוֹתlih/YOTto beלוֹloHisלְעַםle/AMa peopleסְגֻלָּהse/gul/LAtreasuredכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasדִּבֶּר־לָךְdib/BER-lakhHe promised youוְלִשְׁמֹרve/lish/MORand that you should keepכׇּל־מִצְוֺתָיו׃kol-mits/vo/TAYVall His commandments

    And the LORD hath avouched thee this day to be his peculiar people, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments;

19. 19

    וּלְתִתְּךָu/le/tit/te/KHAand to set youעֶלְיוֹןel/YONhighעַלalaboveכׇּל־הַגּוֹיִםkol-hag/go/YIMall the nationsאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichעָשָׂהa/SAHe has madeלִתְהִלָּהlit/hil/LAfor praiseוּלְשֵׁםu/le/SHEMand for a nameוּלְתִפְאָרֶתu/le/tif/A/retand for honorוְלִהְיֹתְךָve/lih/yot/KHAand that you may beעַם־קָדֹשׁam-ka/DOSHa holy peopleלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasדִּבֵּר׃dib/BERHe has spoken

    And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the LORD thy God, as he hath spoken.
