   לֹא־יִקַּחlo-yik/KACHshall not takeאִישׁisha manאֶת־אֵשֶׁתet-E/shetthe wife ofאָבִיוa/VIVhis fatherוְלֹאve/LOnorיְגַלֶּהye/gal/LEshall uncoverכְּנַףke/NAFthe skirt ofאָבִיו׃a/VIVhis father

   A man shall not take his father's wife, nor discover his father's skirt.

2. 2

   לֹא־יָבֹאlo-ya/VOshall not enterפְצוּעַ־דַּכָּאfe/TSU/a-dak/KAone wounded by crushingוּכְרוּתu/khe/RUTor cut off ofשׇׁפְכָהshof/KHAthe male memberבִּקְהַלbik/HALinto the assembly ofיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

   He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD.

   לֹא־יָבֹאlo-ya/VOshall not enterמַמְזֵרmam/ZERone of illegitimate birthבִּקְהַלbik/HALinto the assembly ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDגַּםgamevenדּוֹרdorgenerationעֲשִׂירִיa/si/RIthe tenthלֹא־יָבֹאlo-ya/VOshall not enterלוֹloof hisבִּקְהַלbik/HALinto the assembly ofיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

   A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD.

   לֹא־יָבֹאlo-ya/VOshall not enterעַמּוֹנִיAm/mo/NIan Ammoniteוּמוֹאָבִיu/Mo/a/VIand a Moabiteבִּקְהַלbik/HALinto the assembly ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDגַּםgamevenדּוֹרdorgenerationעֲשִׂירִיa/si/RIthe tenthלֹא־יָבֹאlo-ya/VOshall not enterלָהֶםla/HEMof theirsבִּקְהַלbik/HALinto the assembly ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDעַד־עוֹלָם׃ad-o/LAMforever

   An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the LORD for ever:

   עַל־דְּבַרal-de/VARbecauseאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatלֹא־קִדְּמוּlo-kid/de/MUthey did not meetאֶתְכֶםet/KHEMyouבַּלֶּחֶםbal/LE/chemwith breadוּבַמַּיִםu/vam/MA/yimand with waterבַּדֶּרֶךְbad/DE/rekhon the wayבְּצֵאתְכֶםbe/tse/te/KHEMwhen you came outמִמִּצְרָיִםmim/Mits/RA/yimfrom Egyptוַאֲשֶׁרva/a/SHERand becauseשָׂכַרsa/KHARthey hiredעָלֶיךָa/LE/khaagainst youאֶת־בִּלְעָםet-Bil/AMBalaamבֶּן־בְּעוֹרben-Be/ORson of Beorמִפְּתוֹרmip/Pe/TORfrom PethorאֲרַםA/RAMAram-נַהֲרַיִםna/ha/RA/yimnaharaimלְקַלְלֶךָּ׃le/kal/LEK/kato curse you

   Because they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.

   וְלֹא־אָבָהve/LO-a/VAbut would notיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godלִשְׁמֹעַlish/MO/ahearkenאֶל־בִּלְעָםel-Bil/AMto Balaamוַיַּהֲפֹךְvay/ya/ha/FOKHbut turnedיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godלְּךָle/KHAfor youאֶת־הַקְּלָלָהet-hak/ke/la/LAthe curseלִבְרָכָהliv/ra/KHAinto a blessingכִּיkibecauseאֲהֵבְךָa/hev/KHAloved youיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָ׃e/lo/HE/khayour God

   Nevertheless the LORD thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the LORD thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the LORD thy God loved thee.

7. 7

   לֹא־תִדְרֹשׁlo-tid/ROSHyou shall not seekשְׁלֹמָםshe/lo/MAMtheir peaceוְטֹבָתָםve/to/va/TAMand their goodכׇּל־יָמֶיךָkol-ya/ME/khaall your daysלְעוֹלָם׃le/o/LAMforever

   Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.

8. 8

   לֹא־תְתַעֵבlo-te/ta/EVyou shall not abhorאֲדֹמִיA/do/MIan Edomiteכִּיkiforאָחִיךָa/CHI/khayour brotherהוּאhuhe isלֹא־תְתַעֵבlo-te/ta/EVyou shall not abhorמִצְרִיMits/RIan Egyptianכִּי־גֵרki-gerfor a strangerהָיִיתָha/YI/tayou wereבְאַרְצוֹ׃ve/ar/TSOin his land

   Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land.

9. 9

   בָּנִיםba/NIMthe childrenאֲשֶׁר־יִוָּלְדוּa/SHER-yiv/va/le/DUwho are bornלָהֶםla/HEMto themדּוֹרdorgenerationשְׁלִישִׁיshe/li/SHIthirdיָבֹאya/VOmay enterלָהֶםla/HEMof theirsבִּקְהַלbik/HALinto the assembly ofיְהֹוָה׃Adonaithe LORD

   The children that are begotten of them shall enter into the congregation of the LORD in their third generation.

10. 10

    כִּי־תֵצֵאki-te/TSEwhen goes outמַחֲנֶהma/cha/NEa campעַל־אֹיְבֶיךָal-oy/VE/khaagainst your enemiesוְנִשְׁמַרְתָּve/nish/mar/TAthen keep yourselfמִכֹּלmik/KOLfrom everyדָּבָרda/VARthingרָע׃raevil

    When the host goeth forth against thine enemies, then keep thee from every wicked thing.

    כִּי־יִהְיֶהki-yih/YEif there isבְךָve/KHAamong youאִישׁisha manאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhoלֹא־יִהְיֶהlo-yih/YEis notטָהוֹרta/HORcleanמִקְּרֵה־לָיְלָהmik/ke/RE-LAY/laby what chances at nightוְיָצָאve/ya/TSAthen he shall goאֶל־מִחוּץel-mi/CHUTSoutsideלַמַּחֲנֶהlam/ma/cha/NEthe campלֹאlonotיָבֹאya/VOcomeאֶל־תּוֹךְel-tokhintoהַמַּחֲנֶה׃ham/ma/cha/NEthe camp

    If there be among you any man, that is not clean by reason of uncleanness that chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp:

12. 12

    וְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beלִפְנוֹת־עֶרֶבlif/NOT-E/revwhen evening turnsיִרְחַץyir/CHATShe shall washבַּמָּיִםbam/MA/yimin waterוּכְבֹאu/khe/VOand when setsהַשֶּׁמֶשׁhash/SHE/meshthe sunיָבֹאya/VOhe may comeאֶל־תּוֹךְel-tokhintoהַמַּחֲנֶה׃ham/ma/cha/NEthe camp

    But it shall be, when evening cometh on, he shall wash himself with water: and when the sun is down, he shall come into the camp again.

13. 13

    וְיָדve/YADand a placeתִּהְיֶהtih/YEshall beלְךָle/KHAfor youמִחוּץmi/CHUTSoutsideלַמַּחֲנֶהlam/ma/cha/NEthe campוְיָצָאתָve/ya/TSA/tawhere you shall goשָּׁמָּהSHAM/mathereחוּץ׃chutsoutside

    Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad:

14. 14

    וְיָתֵדve/ya/TEDand a pegתִּהְיֶהtih/YEshall beלְךָle/KHAfor youעַל־אֲזֵנֶךָal-a/ze/NE/khaamong your gearוְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it shall beבְּשִׁבְתְּךָbe/shiv/te/KHAwhen you sitחוּץchutsoutsideוְחָפַרְתָּהve/cha/far/TAyou shall digבָהּvawith itוְשַׁבְתָּve/shav/TAand turn backוְכִסִּיתָve/khis/SI/taand coverאֶת־צֵאָתֶךָ׃et-tse/a/TE/khayour excrement

    And thou shalt have a paddle upon thy weapon; and it shall be, when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee:

15. 15

    כִּיkiforיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godמִתְהַלֵּךְmit/hal/LEKHwalksבְּקֶרֶבbe/KE/revin the midst ofמַחֲנֶךָma/cha/NE/khayour campלְהַצִּילְךָle/hats/TSI/le/khato deliver youוְלָתֵתve/la/TETand to give upאֹיְבֶיךָoy/VE/khayour enemiesלְפָנֶיךָle/fa/NE/khabefore youוְהָיָהve/ha/YAtherefore shall beמַחֲנֶיךָma/cha/NE/khayour campקָדוֹשׁka/DOSHholyוְלֹא־יִרְאֶהve/LO-yir/Ethat He may not seeבְךָve/KHAin youעֶרְוַתer/VATthe nakedness ofדָּבָרda/VARanythingוְשָׁבve/SHAVand turn awayמֵאַחֲרֶיךָ׃me/a/cha/RE/khafrom after you

    For the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.

16. 16

    לֹא־תַסְגִּירlo-tas/GIRyou shall not hand overעֶבֶדE/veda servantאֶל־אֲדֹנָיוel-a/do/NAYVto his masterאֲשֶׁר־יִנָּצֵלa/SHER-yin/na/TSELwho has escapedאֵלֶיךָe/LE/khato youמֵעִםme/IMfromאֲדֹנָיו׃a/do/NAYVhis master

    Thou shalt not deliver unto his master the servant which is escaped from his master unto thee:

17. 17

    עִמְּךָim/me/KHAwith youיֵשֵׁבye/SHEVhe shall dwellבְּקִרְבְּךָbe/kir/be/KHAamong youבַּמָּקוֹםbam/ma/KOMin the placeאֲשֶׁר־יִבְחַרa/SHER-yiv/CHARwhich he choosesבְּאַחַדbe/a/CHADin one ofשְׁעָרֶיךָshe/a/RE/khayour gatesבַּטּוֹבbat/TOVwhere it is goodלוֹlofor himלֹאlonotתּוֹנֶנּוּ׃to/NEN/nuyou shall oppress him

    He shall dwell with thee, even among you, in that place which he shall choose in one of thy gates, where it liketh him best: thou shalt not oppress him.

18. 18

    לֹא־תִהְיֶהlo-tih/YEthere shall be noקְדֵשָׁהke/de/SHAa cult prostituteמִבְּנוֹתmib/be/NOTof the daughters ofיִשְׂרָאֵלYis/ra/ELIsraelוְלֹא־יִהְיֶהve/LO-yih/YEand there shall not beקָדֵשׁka/DESHa cult prostituteמִבְּנֵיmib/be/NEof the sons ofיִשְׂרָאֵל׃Yis/ra/ELIsrael

    There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.

19. 19

    לֹא־תָבִיאlo-ta/VIyou shall not bringאֶתְנַןet/NANthe hire ofזוֹנָהzo/NAa harlotוּמְחִירu/me/CHIRor the price ofכֶּלֶבKE/leva dogבֵּיתbetinto the house ofיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godלְכׇל־נֶדֶרle/KHOL-NE/derfor any vowכִּיkiforתוֹעֲבַתto/a/VATan abomination toיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godגַּם־שְׁנֵיהֶם׃gam-she/ne/HEMeven both of them

    Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

20. 20

    לֹא־תַשִּׁיךְlo-tash/SHIKHyou shall not lend at interestלְאָחִיךָle/a/CHI/khato your brotherנֶשֶׁךְNE/shekhinterest ofכֶּסֶףKE/sefmoneyנֶשֶׁךְNE/shekhinterest ofאֹכֶלO/khelfoodנֶשֶׁךְNE/shekhinterest ofכׇּל־דָּבָרkol-da/VARanythingאֲשֶׁרa/SHERthatיִשָּׁךְ׃yish/SHAKHis lent at interest

    Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:

21. 21

    לַנׇּכְרִיlan/nokh/RIto a foreignerתַשִּׁיךְtash/SHIKHyou may lend at interestוּלְאָחִיךָu/le/a/CHI/khabut to your brotherלֹאlonotתַשִּׁיךְtash/SHIKHyou shall lend at interestלְמַעַןle/MA/anso thatיְבָרֶכְךָye/va/rekh/KHAmay bless youיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godבְּכֹלbe/KHOLin allמִשְׁלַחmish/LACHundertaking ofיָדֶךָya/DE/khayour handעַל־הָאָרֶץal-ha/A/retsin the landאֲשֶׁר־אַתָּהa/SHER-at/TAwhich youבָא־שָׁמָּהva-SHAM/maare going in thereלְרִשְׁתָּהּ׃le/rish/TAto possess it

    Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it.

22. 22

    כִּי־תִדֹּרki-tid/DORwhen you vowנֶדֶרNE/dera vowלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godלֹאlonotתְאַחֵרte/a/CHERyou shall delayלְשַׁלְּמוֹle/shal/le/MOto pay itכִּי־דָרֹשׁki-da/ROSHfor requireיִדְרְשֶׁנּוּyid/re/SHEN/nuwill require itיְהֹוָהAdonaithe LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godמֵעִמָּךְme/im/MAKHof youוְהָיָהve/ha/YAand it would beבְךָve/KHAin youחֵטְא׃chetsin

    When thou shalt vow a vow unto the LORD thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the LORD thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.

23. 23

    וְכִיve/KHIbut ifתֶחְדַּלtech/DALyou refrainלִנְדֹּרlin/DORfrom vowingלֹא־יִהְיֶהlo-yih/YEit shall not beבְךָve/KHAin youחֵטְא׃chetsin

    But if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee.

24. 24

    מוֹצָאmo/TSAwhat has gone out ofשְׂפָתֶיךָse/fa/TE/khayour lipsתִּשְׁמֹרtish/MORyou shall keepוְעָשִׂיתָve/a/SI/taand doכַּאֲשֶׁרka/a/SHERasנָדַרְתָּna/DAR/tayou have vowedלַיהֹוָהla-Adonaito the LORDאֱלֹהֶיךָe/lo/HE/khayour Godנְדָבָהne/da/VAa freewill offeringאֲשֶׁרa/SHERwhichדִּבַּרְתָּdib/BAR/tayou have spokenבְּפִיךָ׃be/FI/khawith your mouth

    That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a freewill offering, according as thou hast vowed unto the LORD thy God, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.

25. 25

    כִּיkiwhenתָבֹאta/VOyou comeבְּכֶרֶםbe/KHE/reminto the vineyard ofרֵעֶךָre/E/khayour neighborוְאָכַלְתָּve/a/khal/TAthen you may eatעֲנָבִיםa/na/VIMgrapesכְּנַפְשְׁךָke/naf/she/KHAas you desireשׇׂבְעֶךָsov/E/khayour fillוְאֶל־כֶּלְיְךָve/EL-kel/ye/KHAbut into your vesselלֹאlonotתִתֵּן׃tit/TENyou shall put

    When thou comest into thy neighbour's vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel.

26. 26

    כִּיkiwhenתָבֹאta/VOyou comeבְּקָמַתbe/ka/MATinto the standing grain ofרֵעֶךָre/E/khayour neighborוְקָטַפְתָּve/ka/taf/TAthen you may pluckמְלִילֹתme/li/LOTearsבְּיָדֶךָbe/ya/DE/khawith your handוְחֶרְמֵשׁve/cher/MESHbut a sickleלֹאlonotתָנִיףta/NIFyou shall wieldעַלalonקָמַתka/MATthe standing grain ofרֵעֶךָ׃re/E/khayour neighbor

    When thou comest into the standing corn of thy neighbour, then thou mayest pluck the ears with thine hand; but thou shalt not move a sickle unto thy neighbour's standing corn.
